They might get some nominations at the end of the year. We're not there yet. But it is a monumental achievement, earning the highest user medicritic score ever recorded for a game, all from a team of under 30 developers who bravely stepped away from big publishers to forge their own. Big publishers. Ubisoft. One thing is clear. With digital distribution and engines like Unreal, today's most innovative projects increasingly

emerge from outside the traditional publisher system. True. That's something to celebrate. But with more than 18,000 games released on Steam just last year, more than double from 2020, the challenge now is discovery. Wait, no way, right? Oh, Game of Thrones, okay. So it's a Game of Thrones RTS? You may think you know how the game is played. But this is not the game you know. Well, that's kind of cool. I mean, there's no shot he would ever beat that guy, right? I mean, let's be honest.

The first game show looked amazing too. You're right about that. But that did show some gameplay. We saw some gameplay there. Atomic Heart 2 is an active development at Munfish on Unreal Engine 5. So this is this like a plot device for like a changing world? How did the whole of humanity miss it? We are so back. And did we actually miss it? What if the cube didn't appear but revealed itself? What if it was always there and we've only just started to see it? It's good that they have bat representation in the game. They're the enemies.

What is this like the Russian first descendant? It's the first Soviet. Oh my God. The Cube Atomic Universe. Wow. Cute little guy. The Cube is yet another new project from Munfish. An MMO RPG shooters set in the atomic universe on a massive levitating cube.

You can see there where the edges are constantly rotating to create unique gameplay combinations that are ever evolving. All right, let's jump into the Marvel Cosmic. Invasion Universe. What's this? The new retro beat them up coming to PC and consoles this holiday with multiplayer fun for up to four players. You can pick between 15 Marvel characters to play, but so far only seven have been revealed. Well, now it's time to meet the next two. All right, let's see it. It's a raccoon and Shee Hulk. I can see dozens of people being excited about this. I feel like this style of game isn't that popular. It's not fun to watch. It's not even, I don't think it's really all that fun to play either.

And there's so many mechanics here, it's gonna be alienating for like... 90% of people.

Am I crazy for saying that? There's like so much like background information you need to have. That was killer in a 24 player multiplayer game from Square Enix where you compete. where you compete in a game of life or death using social deduction skills to win. All right, it's hard to believe this next game was first announced at TGA in 2021. I know it's been a while. The recent tech test proved that some things are definitely worth the wait. I'm, of course, talking about Ark Raiders.

This is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and we're excited to share a new trailer, which will tell you more about the mysteries surrounding the world of Sphranza and the long-awaited launch date coming later this year. But this one comes from a studio that is no stranger to delivering blockbuster games time and again. When I first got a glimpse at this project last summer, I was absolutely blown away by the scale, scope, and ambition of this developer's vision. And while there are many places, really any place, this game could have been revealed, We are so deeply honored that we get to share it with the world right here at Summer Game Fest.

VR games. And as far as I know, there's like nobody to even watch this content for them or anything. I don't know where this audience comes from, right? Like, I don't know what it is. And same.
