and then this is where it got intense. She just came straight through and was being pretty aggressive. No way. I get the situation as escalated and there was a lot going on. And then the guys came over and helped throw her on the ground. Yeah. Non-offices, tow trucking. Could you hear anything being said. Oh, yes. I can hear my speaker's pretty low. But she kept saying, don't touch me, don't touch me. We're going to watch all the video, get everything figured out, okay?

investigation and the fights on. Yep. So it's physically blocking me. She was like this. Which you're investigating a parking violation and we were requested here by Bannon, the tow company was called by Manny. After figuring out what happened, the sergeant now explains the situation to the suspect's father. So the officer gets out here. That's getting figured out. The officer then goes to look at the vehicle information to investigate whatever parking thing that occurred.

Your daughter was blocking the officer from getting the vehicle's VIN number or plate. So she was impeding the investigation. Absolutely. So during that, the officer asked your daughter to move away from the vehicle so she could do what she needed to do. At that point, your daughter does not go with that. The officer then tells her she's going to get detained and put in handcuffs if she keeps acting the way she is. that doesn't go over well, and then the officer goes to put her in handcuffs, and then your daughter and the officer then get into a physical altercation.

So what is it? And she's being so charged with resisting arrest. All right. So she's going where? To the jail, Dane County Jail. Okay. She'd see a judge Monday. Oh, so we came out today?

And in 2025, I believe that mindset shows up on cause more than domestic disputes

and traffic crashes combined. We watch a grown adult cover her VIN number like she's trying to hide evidence in broad daylight. Don't look here. No, you don't want to see that. As if the truth stops exist in the moment her hand, touches the glass. That's when I got a Philly flashback, not because this was a violent situation, but because she was petty, loud, and impossible to reason with. And this is the stuff that drains cops more than the dangerous calls ever will. Then we get the tow truck guy

jumping into help controller, but there's also risk involved because every helpful hand can become a witness, a headline, or a possible defendant later. The tow truck guy wrapped his arms around someone he didn't know trying to keep her from hurting the officer. And the sad part, he'll probably have to justify his actions longer than the woman who caused the whole scene. Then we hear the part that... That's a fucking fact. Tells the whole story. Her father's showing up. He was calm, respectful and he listened to the sergeant not performing for the camera two generations same family but worlds apart and how they deal with conflict and it makes you wonder how the gap got so wide so fast this suspect regina was charged with resisting obstructing a peace officer she is innocent

unless proven guilty in a court i mean this seems like a community service situation it doesn't really seem like it's that big of a deal but like holy shit you got to learn how to act you got to learn how to act man like that's just really like of law They'll not, yeah, they'll let her off. Yeah, that one's actually, I really don't think that one's a big deal, right? It's really not a big deal. And probation community service, yeah, no box for her. Officer might be infected. I mean, with what, being fucking vatarded? I mean, maybe, right? After getting bit by her, I wouldn't be surprised. COVID provoked a huge disconnect on social cues. I think that honestly, this is just people people don't understand if a cop is wrong about something it's not the time to fight them, court is.

It's because they, like, a lot of people don't have the capacity to think beyond what's immediately happening to them. And so the problem is that because they can't do that, well, now there's no way for them to pull them. plan for the future. They can't think about, well, what am I going to do after this? There is no after this. There's just what's happening to me right now in this very moment at this very second right now, like immediately, right? And so that's the issue that people have is they exist very clearly in the moment and that's it. And the lack of third places, the cops should have done

a better job in de-escalating a situation. I really feel like she failed in that regard. I don't really think so. I think that I almost never place the onus on a police officer to de-escalate a situation when the truth is that the person should have never escalated it in the first place. I don't think that the police officer should be looked at as the

person that should be accountable for not being able to use the correct, you know, like word magic to get some feral animal to understand what to do. Right? Like, I think the officer, like, I mean, is there a way an officer, maybe

could have done it better. That's her job. Well, I think it's everybody's job to act normal, though, right? And so if you're not doing your job, like the moment that you act weird, like a police officer is a person. Like, it's not like this is a robot or some shit. So really, whenever you have a bad situation like this, you can just expect to see that happen. Yeah, word magic. Well, I'm telling you, right? I mean, you got to tell them that, yeah, I mean, that's, of course they should. We pay cops to learn de-escalation. I think that it's like, I mean, and I think that it's like, I mean, and I think, that she did de-escalated? I don't think that she

escalated it. Like, I don't think so. And also, I think that the amount of violent, aggressive behavior, like, de-escalation can mean a lot of different things. I don't think that it means being compliant with, like, an aggressive, annoying person that's trying to prevent you from, you know, figuring out whether this person's breaking the law, right? Like, I think that's it. As for anything, it's not much sure either. I mean, again, like, I'm sure a better cop could have done a different job, but I don't know if it really would have made a difference with a person like that. I don't

think so. And I'm not going to go and criticize and look at an officer because I also, not pay cops to de-escalate. Yeah, also, like, by the way, we pay cops to enforce the fucking law. That's what we pay cops for. We're not paying them to de-escalate. We're not paying to anything. Enforce the law and make sure that crazy shit doesn't happen. Right? So that's what I would say more than anything else.
