Throne and Liberty sucks though, apparently. There's a couple of videos about it. I guess I'll watch one of them. Hello guys, we're currently in the middle of playing Throne and Liberty. And as you can see, it's high action, impactful combat. And we're currently cheering on my character because I can't even do anything anyways. So we might as well give him moral support with a clown wig. So we can kill some wolves a little bit faster.

Okay, so we've been playing this now for Almost two hours a little bit less than two hours Maybe one and a half It's level 10, okay And as you can see right now The game is playing itself I'm doing a quest right now I need to kill brutal wolves And I'm not I don't have to do anything

First impression I don't really like auto playing games that aren't mobile games The reason why is that auto play It's like I like the idea of auto play theoretically, but the problem is that if you have autoplay, it becomes the meta to always use auto play. If combat and gameplay is so easy that autoplay could do it, why does it even exist anyway? You know what I mean? And I think like, for example, like, you look at Final Fantasy 14,

and like, I think one of the biggest ways they innovated in terms of MMOs is they took out all of the things that you've always had to do. And they asked the question, why? And this is a question that was not asked in gaming since 2004 whenever World of Warcraft did the exact same thing and ironically became you know

the the fucking the problem 10 years later. So yeah it's like why do you have auto play content? Like what is the value in it? This is the worst game I've ever played and it's not even close.

yeah it'll get way worse for him my PC isn't that great I have a 1070 TI and everything else is around that level but if I play BDO on like high settings I'm doing fine BDO is just like infinitely better than this and always by the way and it came out in 2000 and like what 14

Like why would anybody go and play this and not and be play play play this instead of BDO If I do anything above like media anything above low here I can't play the game And it looks way worse than BDO too right? Yeah it does On top of that as you can see the combat is literal dog shit it's designed to be out of play combat you cannot move while doing anything you will just stuck in place it's basically runescape combat, but worse. I know you probably didn't think... Yeah, this really sucks some big dicks.

I feel like it does. You'll ever hear that in your life, but it's basically runescape combat, but made worse. After this, I'm going to go watch some Throne and Liberty streams live to form my own opinion, to see if maybe he's just showcasing the worst part of the game,

and then we'll form a... better opinion but right now this looks like literal dog shit-ass garbage um looting system is obviously designed around pets again oh let me guess in order to have the pets loop for you you have to spend money i mean as you can see right here this is a full ui down here is auto play this is this thing here that you see astral hunting is what they call it the other button here is just go to a go to a random target and attack it So like even even the auto attack is kind of auto play-e, auto-play-ish.

I don't have a problem with an auto attack. The rewards you get requested, you have to collect manually through left-clicking them like this. Feels like a mobile game as well. There's a battle pass. There's a season pass. There's a special shop. There's an event. There's a milestone.

There's more, if I'm assuming that's probably some sort of transmog. Oh wow. Ash up that gives you buffs which I would assume the buffs are important because then you auto play and you have a buffs up so you're like maximizing your buff. So yeah first impressions this game is the worst shit I've ever played my life. I'm gonna keep playing obviously so we maybe there's- That doesn't sound good guys. I feel like he doesn't like it. Something good to be said eventually but so far this is this is a dead. is genuinely embarrassing. This reminds me of, um, I feel like if you looked at this and you looked at Arcage in like

2011 or 2012, I feel like Arcage would probably be more compelling. That 12 years of development time has gone to this. Would it be fair if they had released it 12 years ago, it would have been at least average. I have no idea how that happened. I have no idea what happened. I don't know why Amazon agree to publish this I have no fucking clue how this is even like a thing maybe I'll add one more point to this you guys remember all of the old school MMOs that were like free-to-play like cash grabs like the you know that wanted to ride the wow I've trained back in the day you know all of those free is there a new train

But literally, the free-to-year... play trash ever most that people played that couldn't afford wow back in the day are 10 times better than whatever this is and it's not even close and yeah blue protocols delayed for this i don't know also for the people curious how pay to win this game is basically there's a battle pass that

gives you you know i've heard that the uh western version is going to have different monetization i heard that from a pretty good source what does that mean i don't know yet but that's just what I heard. A bunch of items just like including the actual in-game main curve. Maybe it'll be even more. Currency you get from the battle pass. Say it about lost art. It's bullshit.

No, it's true about lost. You get coins here. You get potions. You get buff food. And I'm assuming all of this ties into the auto battling stuff. Yeah. Because as you can see here, the buff food is 10 minutes long. So I would guess that, you know, they want to sell you buff food that automatically

refreshes itself while you're auto playing. auto playing, auto battling. Yeah, of course. And that's probably what the monetization model is. They're trying to... This looks like BDO, the interaction menus. I remember this was like kind of similar. monetize as much of the auto battling as possible.

It died. You're excited. The animations look like shit. I think this game is maybe salvageable if they just take the entire combat system and get rid of it completely. Just delete everything about it and start completely over. Just totally start over in all ways. It's good. Guys, it's going to take, it's going to take 12 more years for that.
