I am so excited to share my debut book with you or Start With Yourself, which is available now.
You might have seen the headlines, you might have seen the social, but this book is exactly
what I intended, a conversation that will make you think, and it's a blueprint for anyone
who wants success without the toxic positivity. Start with yourself is about self-leadership,
because wherever I go, women ask me how I got to where I am. But what you really want to know
is how you can get there. So I'm doing what I do best, sharing and
navigate keeping what's works for me in the hope that you can borrow from a philosophy that has
served me so well. The truth is I'm not an expert. I've just lived it. I've made the mistakes.
I've had the failures and I've learned what actually works. It takes a lot. It takes the most.
And this book is for anyone who's tired of feeling like a passenger in their own life.
It's about taking responsibility for your thinking, managing your emotions and getting clear on
your ideas and then knowing your next step. It's about picking
yourself up after failure, being accountable, but also forgiving yourself, pushing for wins,
and never, ever apologising for your ambition. It's also about challenging the rules that you've
been told. There is no perfect time. Balance isn't the goal. Alignment is and there's nothing
wrong with you wanting more. I'm precisely sure that the reason I've been so successful is
so I can share it with you. Start with yourself. My debut book is available now. Visit emigre.com
to purchase the book, also available on Amazon.

When you think of the word Paris, you think of the city and the woman.
That's the power of personal branding.
Behind the glitter and the pink is a visionary, building one of the most powerful
personal brands of our time.
Get ready to learn how she did it and how you can too.
Today, Paris is a CEO, a mother, a bestselling author and a cultural icon.
In this conversation, Paris gets into everything from her takeaways on making your
personal brand, your business, motherhood, and her beauty routine. Let's just say, if you saw
her spa the way I did, you'd never look at ratios the same way. Paris, I'm so happy to have you
here today. Me too. So good to see you. It's so good. I mean, it's always good to see you.
You know, I've wanted to have you on this podcast since the beginning of us starting. You were one
of the very first people. I texted to say, please, well, you come on. And of course, you said, yes,
we just had to fit into your crazy schedule because you do so much.
My schedule is insane.
No, your schedule is insane.
But that's because you're doing so many incredible things.
And really, I brought you here today because I don't think there's anyone better to talk to about the power of personal branding.
I wanted to ask you, how purposeful are you when it comes to building your brand?
Like, has it always been a plan?
And I really want to understand your approach when it comes to personal branding.
For me, it's just all been very authentic.
Just everything's happened very naturally.
They all started when I launched my first fragrance 20 years ago.
From there, I just started really just building product lines and brands and things that really resonated with my brand, things that I love.
And what I was passionate for, just leaning into my brand and having fun with my character and, yeah, just building products off of everything that I do.
I mean, because there is just such a, I'm not going to say a red thread, it's like a pink thread for everything that you do.
When you think about the consistency that you had, do you think there's like a secret to that consistency?
The secret is just always staying true to myself.
My brand is all about pink and sparkle and fun and affordable luxury as well.
I really love that I'm able to travel the world.
I get to see so many beautiful things and be inspired by them.
and then create those products for my fans at an affordable price.
Do you think that the irreverence of it,
the fact that it is pink and sparkly and so happy
that you can't help but smile when you see something that you've created?
Do you think that's part of your popularity
that in a time when, you know, everything's so dark
that actually your array of light?
I do believe that.
I feel that, you know, there is so much darkness.
I've been through a lot of darkness in my life
that I feel like I've always been.
the light. And that's something that I always aspire to be. What's the secret to live in as both
an incredibly successful person and a very powerful brand? The difference is really owning your power
and your narrative and your story rather than letting other people define you and always being kind
and leading with kindness and wanting to spread joy and happiness through everything that I do.
if you think that you actually get credit for being a woman that has been able to monetize
herself, not just as an idea, but as a true talent, like a multifaceted talent in so many
categories, do you reckon that you get the credit you deserve? I do now. I think for a long
time, I was definitely underestimated. And there's just a lot of misconceptions about me. I think,
you know, coming from my last name and from people getting to know me through this simple life,
they didn't understand the businesswoman behind all that.
But I think now I've proven myself and people can see that.
Because I guess for a while you almost played into those misconceptions.
There's part of like the blonde, glittery, pinky thing that you played up as part of your character.
But I have heard you speak a lot about that character and how you very purposefully, like, created a persona for yourself.
Will you talk about that a little bit?
Well, I've always been a very naturally shy person, so I think...
Which I think people will find surprising.
Yeah, they definitely will find that surprising.
But when I played the character, I think it was almost like a shield to protect myself.
And going through so much as a teenager, I also just kind of wanted to build this kind of Barbie doll fantasy life.
And then all of a sudden I get the simple life and the producers tell me to play into the character even more.
And this was the first reality show.
So I really had no idea, you know, what I was getting myself into.
And I didn't know it.
I have to continue on the character season after season for.
Exactly.
You know, I can do this for a few episodes.
And then years later.
So then just the whole world assumed that's who I was.
And then it's like, this is working and, you know, basically built a whole brand around this character.
Do you, I always think about you as like queen of the creators, like queen of the influencers.
Do you think about yourself like that?
I feel that I was always very ahead of my time.
Yeah.
I was doing all the things that people are doing today
before there was even a word for it.
They just called it famous for being famous.
But now that's like an entire job that people do.
So I think it's, it makes me happy to have been ahead of my time.
And so I feel like I always.
Yeah, I mean, I feel like you were the first creator
and we've seen the creator economy like completely blossom.
Is there someone that you think right now that you love that you're like,
this person is getting it really right?
I think there's so many amazing women right now
that are really following their dreams
and their passions and killing it.
Just like our girls, Kim and Chloe, all them.
So many people, I think, really are just leaning into their brands
and really utilizing social media and all the technology today
and creating products behind those as well.
At one point did you realize?
Because I remember in the early days,
Like you were one of the first people getting paid for club appearances, right?
You were going to Vegas.
You were getting a gazillion dollars, it seemed like at the time.
And, you know, just for you turning up, for you being there on the night.
At what point did you realize, wait a minute, this is more than like a gig-to-gig thing.
I'm going to create products.
I'm going to create an empire.
Yeah, this all started even before I was 21.
I had my fake ID.
and my first appearance in Vegas was for the Palms Hotel.
They wanted me to do the opening and had me wear this boostier
that had like a million dollars of casino chips on it.
Classy.
Yes.
Were your family okay with you representing another hotel group?
It was a lot of money.
I didn't really ask anybody.
I just did it.
But that was like my first time doing something like that.
And I was like, wow, this could actually be a huge business
because every week, then they started calling me to just do other appearances and club appearances there.
And that's when I just started knowing that I could really get paid to party.
I was like, this is so much fun.
And at that point, it was like get paid to party.
But were you sitting down and saying, okay, there's a strategic plan here?
Or were you having as much fun as it looked like you were having?
I was having so much fun.
But also behind the scenes, I was having meetings and creating and releasing my fragrances.
and then I got into doing my clothing brand and handbags and shoes and sunglasses and different products.
Even though I was having fun going out, I always had my business as well.
And for you, like I'm just trying to understand from a business infrastructure point of view.
Like in the early days, what did that look like?
Who did you have around you?
Who helped you make decisions?
And I'm just trying to understand, like, from the early days to now, like, how has that changed?
I had my manager and that my dad.
I would always ask him for advice as well. Yeah, a very small team back then.
And a team that you could count on?
Sometimes. Sometimes. I, you know, went through a lot of different agents and managers
because in Hollywood, it's just, it's really hard to trust people and know their intentions.
And I'm so happy now that I have an incredible team that is like family to me.
Yeah, you're really lucky. Yes. And so what does it take to keep the Paris Hilton business running?
Well, I have my media company called 1111 Media, and I'm the CEO, and I have 30 people on the team.
Amazing.
And we do everything from television, audio, film, building products, and IP.
We're doing things in the Metaverse as well, music, licensing, and building brands, doing content.
So, yeah, we do it all.
It's amazing.
It's really incredible.
I have amazing people who are running every different division, who are experts in all those
different areas.
It's just been mind-blowing what we've accomplished since I founded it in 2020.
It's just so exciting.
It's like I just feel so grateful every single day.
Well, I feel like you just have so, you have so much going on at the moment.
Give me an idea of what a day, a typical day in your life looks like.
There's never really a typical day.
Every day, it's something new and fun and interesting.
Usually I could be in the studio, recording my album, or I'm on a plane traveling to a different country, doing concerts, doing appearances in my design meetings for all my product lines, photo shoots, interviews.
Is there anything that you ever outsource you're like, that's not my strength or that's not where I need to spend my time?
I'm asked to speak on panels all the time.
I bet.
podcast, going to different tech conferences.
And I can't go to all of these.
I'll go to some of the ones that I can fit in my schedule.
Thank you for coming here.
Yes.
I have to come for you.
I love you.
So certain things, I'll just send someone else on my team to go so they could represent
the company and me, but I can't make it to everything.
So you're saying with Hilton Honors, I can use points for a free night's day anywhere?
Anywhere.
What about fancy places like the canopy in Paris?
Yeah.
Hilton Honors, baby.
Or relaxing sanctuaries, like the Conrad in Tulum?
Hilton honors, baby.
What about the five-star Waldorf Astoria in the Maldives?
Are you going to do this for all 9,000 properties?
When you want points that can take you anywhere, any time, it matters where you stay.
Hilton, for the stay.

I think it's incredible to look at the evolution of you.
I was trying to figure out when I met you.
I met you back in my celebrity talent wrangling Broker bitch days.
I don't know what else to call it, but that's what I did.
I booked talent onto campaigns.
And I remember everyone was so excited to have Paris in Paris.
Like it was such a big deal.
There were a gillian people at the air.
It was, you know, in those days when something was happening in a place and it felt like the whole world was converging.
And my job was to make sure that you got from the airport to the set safely.
And I did not do that job very well because of the like, I don't know, 50 mopeds that were following us, which was so insane.
But I do remember how professional you were.
You'd been out the night before.
We had an early start.
You were early, which I thought, wow, that's like so incredible because not everybody's early.
but you also kind of, you know,
you were having a lot of fun,
but you were there doing the job,
and you were super nice to every single person there.
And at that time, I was, I mean, beyond junior.
Junior's like not,
I was like a non-person on the set.
And you were so kind and so lovely to me,
and for whatever reason you gave me your number.
And I was like, oh, this is fun, I've got your number.
But, you know, over the years,
I'd kind of texted you and said things
and you were always so incredibly kind.
And I feel like it's a really underrated thing in business more generally because I really believe in, I believe in karma.
I believe that you get what you give out.
And I really honestly believe that an enormous part of your success is how you carried yourself through so many things, so many big global moments, high, lows, ups and downs.
But you've always been unbelievably consistent with your brand and unbelievably consistent as a person.
And I wonder if, I just wonder where you got that from and how you've managed to stay that way
in spite of like everything that you could be an answer. I, just who I am. I'm just a kind person.
I've always just believed in making everyone feel special and being sweet to everyone. And it's just
who I am at my core. I just, I can't imagine being any other way. Do you still have millions of animals?
I remember there being a lot of animals in that.
I'm not a very animal-y loving girl,
and I remember there being lots of furry things at the brits.
Yes, I have my four dogs.
They're so cute.
Four dogs.
I love four dogs.
I feel like when, you know, again,
talking about consistency,
when people walk into your home,
you know, it is extremely you.
It is pink, the art is pink.
You know, the entire spa is pink.
The way that you, you know, it's like the cars,
the whole thing.
It's like a Barbie fantasy.
well. Do you ever wake up and go like, oh my God, like I'm sick of all this pink. I wish I, you know,
I wish I lived at Kim's house. I wish the things, I wish the palette was more bland. I love it.
It makes me happy. I feel like as a little girl, I had all of these dreams and it's just like
what I pictured in my life. It's like this fantasy world that I just can live in. And it's like my
bubble and my special place that like just makes me so happy just to see all the pink and all the fun things.
just one of my friends and people come over, they're like, oh my God, this is so paracized.
I'm like, yes.
It's really true.
Parasized is exactly the thing.
It's so you.
But tell me, you know, when you talk about the dream, what is the motivation?
Because at this point, like, you don't need the money, I'm imagining.
You're good.
What actually motivates you to do what you do?
I love what I do.
Success is something that really drives me.
I love creating things that are beautiful.
I don't know. I just, I don't know. I just, I love to work hard. I think it was just something that was
instilled in me since I was a little girl for my family. And I love to make my parents proud.
I just always had big dreams since I was a little girl. And now I've exceeded all those dreams.
And it just, I feel just so grateful that I get to do what I love, music, beauty, fashion,
and just have the best time because I feel like you only live once. So you should make the most out of it.
Yeah, it's pretty true. I mean, you do.
do so many things. And I'm interested to understand when you know it's time to pivot because
you feel like you're, you know, in as much as you say consistent with your brand, you're also
at the mother of reinvention. So when do you know that it's time to like switch it up?
I just instinctively know. I just am like, oh, I want to do this now. Oh, I want to start DJing
now. I want to now release another album. It kind of just whatever I feel in the moment, I do.
And I feel like any time I've had a dream, it always comes true.
Really?
Yes.
So you believe in manifestation?
Yes.
Do you do that purposefully?
Like, do you have some kind of ritual or something like that?
I just, like, every 11-11, like in the morning and night, I always make a wish.
And all of them have come true.
And I was saying to my husband the other night, I was like, he's like 11-11.
I was like, trying to think I'm like, I don't even know what to wish for anymore.
I feel like all of my wishes have come true.
Oh my God, that's amazing.
So it's, I feel like I manifested all of this ever since I was a little girl.
I would make like mood boards and kind of just write down what I wanted to be when I was a grown-up.
And all of it came true.
That's, I mean, that's insane.
So how do you keep going?
If it's all come true, like what gets you out of bed?
Like, what are the things that you're like, this is now a goal for me?
I love my fans so much.
We have such a close relationship.
And they're my little Hilton's and they're all around the world.
And I love seeing them, making them smile.
I love that now with my music, I can connect with them on an even deeper level.
And I just feel like I was put on this planet to just be the sparkle and the fun and make people happy and just be myself.
Talk to me about risk.
everyone who's successful has taken, you know, an element of risk. How do you feel? Is there anything
that, you know, everyone was telling you this is crazy, but you knew that it would work?
With a simple life. I remember when I got that call and they wanted my sister and I to do it.
And I asked Nikki and she was like, hell no, I'm not doing a reality show. Like, you're crazy.
Don't do it. And my mom as well was like, Harris, like, I don't think it's a good idea.
and of course I didn't listen.
The night after it aired, my mom called me.
I'm just like, you know what?
I'm never wrong about anything,
but I was wrong about that.
You and Nicole are hilarious.
It is so amazing.
I'm so proud of you.
So I was happy that I went with my instincts
that I knew it was the right thing to do.
No doubt.
And she's followed you now onto reality TV.
Thank you very much, Gathy Hilton.
Do you watch?
Yes, she's so funny.
First of all, she's the best.
She's so.
unbelievably funny. But again, someone who's very true to herself. Like, you just feel like
Kathy Hilton's going to be Kathy Hilton. It doesn't matter what happens on that show. She's just
going to roll up and say whatever she wants. She's the real OG. Yeah, she really is. And when did
you decide, talking like of being yourself, when did you decide to almost stop letting the world
define you and really own the narrative of your life and your character? Through my documentary,
this is Paris. That was the first time that I kind of showed who I really was behind the character
and told people the reason why. And people got to know me on an even deeper level and see that
I am a human and that I've been through a lot in my life. And I think that nobody obviously knew
that before, so they didn't know. And just that there was so much more to me than the world knew.
Yeah, I think that that really came through. And in a way, I think that to me it was one of those real moments of sort of like everyone had to like shut up like in a way, you know, it's like a very defining thing. What has it been like since you aired that documentary? Like have you noticed a big difference in the way people treat you or respond to you? Definitely. Just through my documentary and then next with my memoir and really telling my whole story. And,
It's just been incredible, just connecting with so many people who come up to me on the street,
just saying, thank you for your book.
It changed my life.
And I went through the same things as you did, and it made me feel less alone.
And how many parents have told me thank you for telling your story.
It's healed my family.
It's just been amazing, like the power in telling your truth and your story,
having people just know who I am rather than the character that they thought that they knew.
How hard was it for you?
very hard just you know when you're so used to hiding who you are almost because i think
as a teenager just going and being sent to these schools and just going through so much that was so
painful um and then you know developing a character almost as like this armor or shield yeah
and then the whole world thinking that and just being so misunderstood so then to finally just
show who I am. It's just been so liberating and just so healing as well. What was the decision that led
you there? In the documentary, the original premise for it was never supposed to be about that.
It was just supposed, I just felt so underestimated for so long and I accomplished so much.
And, you know, no matter what I did, people just looked at me as like, oh, the party girl or, you know,
simple life, dumb blonde. And I was just sick of, sick of that. So I just wanted to show.
who I was and my businesses and everything that I'd accomplished. And then the director and I became
very close. And then I just started telling her the real story. It's just been like this whole like
process. And also like with the world shutting down during 2020, it was like the first time that I
could have time to actually like sit in one place and reflect on my life. Because before that,
you know, for two decades, I was on the road traveling over 200,
50 days out of the year. There was never time to actually sit and, like, sit and, like, think about
everything in my life. To have that time was very amazing just to be able to get to know myself.
It was like a gift. And I feel like it was a gift to so many people because you opened up a big
conversation that had been swept under the carpet that so many people weren't able to speak about.
How's the advocacy that's come out of that and what you're doing right now? How has that shaped
you as a businesswoman?
It's been the most meaningful work of my life.
I've done a lot that I'm proud of, but my advocacy work and making a difference for so many children around the world has been so empowering.
And just to be the voice for so many who don't have a voice and to make true impact.
I've already changed 13 state laws and passed one federal bill and be passing 10.
two more bills in California by this fall to protect children.
And that has just been incredible to be able to do that and really turn my pain into a purpose
and make a difference in millions of children's lives.
Did you ever imagine that you would be changing loss?
No.
In a million years?
No.
Like watching legally blonde.
I was like, oh, that's amazing.
She's cute.
Yeah.
I never thought I would be like doing that.
It's really incredible.
It just really shows the true power of your truth.
Yeah.
And what happens when, you know, you are, you know, to your credit, when you're so honest, when you're so consistent, I think that that comes back to you.
You know, like it's like you get the things in life that you deserve so much.
And to me it's like so clear that that you were supposed to have that moment with that direct.
even if you didn't set out to do it in that way,
like not just to be, you know, therapeutic for yourself
and to give yourself that ease that burden,
but also for so many other people.
And, you know, I was reading, I don't know,
I found myself in a Reddit whole thread thing,
like lots of people talking about you,
and it's really true.
You have opened up a conversation that people just weren't having.
You've enabled so many people to talk about the pain
of going through similar situations to you did.
So I take my hat off to you.
I think that's incredible, on top of all the insane businesses and the success
and your incredible career and entertainment and media,
that's just stuff, that's legacy stuff, you know,
that stuff that you'll be thinking about and people will be thinking about forever and ever.
Given all of your experience around managers, agents, publicists, teams,
for the people that are listening to this that aspire to the type of career that you've had,
that are thinking about personal branding,
creators, influencers, or whoever they are, what advice would you give people as they start to
build out who gets to work around them? My advice is to do your research on people, do background
checks, to know that whoever is around you and whoever's on your team represents you.
So you want to make sure that it's people who are kind to others and who have good intentions
and people who don't want to just use you
and just to really know.
It could be easy to be tricked.
So I think it's important just to kind of figure out a way
to really find out who the people are around you.
Because not everyone is a good person.
No, they really are not.
Yeah.
They really, really are not.
I wonder, do you think about, given that your name's Paris Hilton,
do you think about your family legacy, the Hilton legacy?
Do I think about it?
Yeah, is that something that's on your...
I mean, I wonder if you sit there, you know,
I don't know if you're expecting to, like,
inherit a gazillion dollars at one point,
but, you know, I think a lot of people
who have a name like that,
it's a weight for them every day.
Is that the same for you?
Or are you so in your own businesses
that it's not even a factor?
For me, I always wanted to be known as Paris,
not Hilton.
So that's something that's always been,
like a driving force as well.
For me, I wanted to do my own thing,
and build my own empire on my own. And my grandfather and I were so close. And he was my business
mentor and someone I looked up to so much. I remember we were having dinner one night.
Paris, you work harder than any CEO I know. I'm so proud of you. It's like, and it's so funny,
I used to be known as Baron Hilton. And now I'm known as Paris Hilton's grandpa. No doubt.
And we were laughing about that. And that made me feel really happy because he's someone I looked up to
entire life. What did you take to? Just seeing what they both did, my great-grandfather, my grandpa,
literally building this entire hotel empire from the ground up was always so inspirational to me.
So just teaching me like the power of a brand. And in my case, it was like a personal brand.
Yeah. A person. And just the importance of like hospitality and being kind to everyone.
and the importance of giving back and philanthropy
and family values, just being a close family.

What's going to do in hospitality that nobody is doing?
What is it going to feel like?
It's just going to feel iconic and fun and very me.
So I can't wait.
And what else are you working on?
I mean, I looked and there's just the most unbelievable list of things that you're doing.
And, you know, it's interesting.
because, you know, I thought I did a lot, but I don't even know where to start.
You have an album coming out, which is, like, epic and amazing.
You have the hotels launching.
I feel like you might be on your 175th fragrance by this point, but which is, and I say
that, not in a mocking way, everybody's fragrance gets cancelled after number three,
number four, and you are still going in a celebrity fragrance landscape that has
all but died except from you.
Like, I just think that that's incredible.
Thank you.
What are you most excited about when you look at,
or not what even what are you most excited about?
I am so interested in, like, how you think about all of these things together.
Like, what are the commonalities and how do you make a decision about what you're going to do?
Well, with my fragrances, I always want something that's reflecting my life at that time.
And I just released my 30th perfume.
It's crazy.
It's crazy.
It's crazy.
Yeah, it's so crazy.
It's amazing.
As a little girl, I had a dream of having one perfume,
so the fact that I have 30 now is just insane.
It's insane.
What do you, like, surely you don't have them all out.
Are you over the first few?
No, I love all of them.
You do?
I knew that you would say that.
But this one I'm obsessed with.
It's called iconic.
And it's just, the scent is so beautiful.
And it just, like, uplifts your mood.
The bottle is gorgeous.
And now we're working on number 31 right now.
Is that a long-term partnership, Paris?
Has that been the same partners,
the whole way through. That's pretty...
For 20 years now.
That's pretty epic.
No?
Yes.
I mean, again, you don't see commercial business relationships in Hollywood that stand the test of time.
Not 20 years. That's wild.
Yes.
And again, I think that's testament to you as a business partner, right?
You do what you say you're going to do.
You turn up. You go above and beyond for whatever you've committed to.
And it's really truly impressive.
Thank you.
I love just creating everything from the scent to the bottle to the campaign.
And then one of my favorite parts is just going on all the appearances all around the world.
You like that part?
Most famous people hate that fucking part, don't they?
Do you?
I love people.
I literally like cry sometimes just talking to people and hearing their stories.
They give me letters and cards and just the words they say to me just reminds me of the reason that this is why I do what I do.
So that just, it makes me so happy.
and now with my skincare line.
I was just going to ask you about that.
It was so epic.
Thank you for the gifting.
That was like one of the most insane.
I feel like everyone's given up on the epic gifting boxes.
And yours came and I was like, yeah.
She's still going with the over the top, insane, like every single product on the planet.
Why did you decide to go into beauty with it being such a like oversaturated market, so difficult to be competitive?
What was the thought there?
I've always been obsessed with skincare.
I know you are.
I'm my entire life.
I just, I love it so much.
And I really wanted to build it from the ground up, all the formulas, the packaging,
just the entire thing.
And working at the laboratory and coming up with formulas that have real results.
And it's just been incredible just seeing these women, we've had clinical testing,
and just to see the difference in their skin and how much confidence it's brought them.
And now just seeing online all of the people who are using it and just how much it's changed their skin.
So it just makes me happy to be able to bring that to people so that they can feel their most confident and most empowered.
And I just, I love skincare. You know how it is.
I mean, yeah, I do know how it is because first of all, you have the most unbelievable skin on the planet.
You really, really do.
And I'm always obsessing over.
I'm like, what are you using?
Who are you seeing?
What are you doing?
what are the things
but you are like truly interested in
like this is not just like another brand
you are like a bit of a skincare
I don't want to say a nerd
because you're like the league's nerd
you are right
you're a skincare longevity
like nerd you are in it
like you know all the things
you know all the ingredients
you're like into the research
and I was pleasantly surprised
about how much you know about skincare
and are you really like
are you really like
are you really
really involved in that brand in a way that you're like, I wanted this to do something for people.
Like, is that what you were trying to get to with this? I'm just trying to understand,
like, what's the white space that you're feeling? I feel like there's so many products out there,
and a lot of them do not work. A lot of people are just literally, you know, slapping a label on
all the same formulas. Like, there's now all these companies where people can literally go,
and it's like you pick the packaging and they're putting the same lotions in every single bottle.
You would have been offered all of those deals.
Yeah, and I was like, I don't want to do that. I want to build these formulas from the ground up.
Some of them I went back like 18 times, like iterations of each one.
So I wanted the consistency, the feel, just every part of it and the results to see that these are actually, you know, science-backed results.
I wanted a skincare line I could use and now the whole world could use it.
What is your beauty routine like?
Because, I mean, I've spoken to you before, you've said it in public.
You don't do Botox, you don't do fillers, which I think surprised a lot of people.
So talk to us about the beauty routine.
Like, what are you doing?
I take care of my skin like an Olympic athlete.
And Heather Nicole, my facialist, I see her three times a week.
She comes to my house, to my sliving spa.
And we are doing neurotris, which is like the EMS electric currents, which is incredible.
I love her skin sculpt device. That is amazing. It's plasma. Hydrofacials, red light therapy, oxygen chamber. I have a hyperbaric chamber. I have the neolite, like, red light bed, which I do every single morning. And then I go into my cryo belt cryotherapy chamber. And I'm just obsessed with all of the different devices and machines. And you saw my spot. I literally have like medical grade like. I nearly. I mean, I nearly didn't go high.
I was like this.
I could get like, you know, 50 grand worth of treatments if I just stayed here for a couple of hours.
Literally like the fountain of you.
It really is the fountain of you.
It's so true.
You spend in a lot of time in that spa.
Yes.
It's unbelievable that you've built that at home.
It's so crazy.
But I think that this is, I mean, it's a real interest of yours because you are very, you're into
the science, you're into the data, you're into the results.
Like you really have delved into this longevity space.
Clearly.
It's being preventative.
That's what I really believe.
And just getting to know people all around the world,
like these just geniuses and biohackers and like Brian Johnson.
Crazy.
Oh, yes, I met him at yours.
Yeah.
That's so crazy.
I love him.
No, he's, I mean, he's amazing.
But on the fitness side of it, like, you're not so into it?
I had two Pilates, but I don't have a lot of time.
Mm-hmm.
So when I have time, I do it.
And then I have this shaky thing.
What is it called?
Oh, like the, yeah, I think you got on it at some point.
Yeah, I love that.
Powerplate?
Power plate.
It's a power plate.
That's what it is.
Yeah, the hot pink one.
That is amazing.
I've been doing that a lot.
And that is amazing because it's like shaking all of yourselves and like waking everything up.
And I love lymphatics, like the massages.
I love it.
I do that every week.
I love it.
So how many hours do you think you dedicate to beauty?
A lot.
I do.
three facials every week and they're three hours long.
I know, she takes, I mean, first of all, one of the best facials I've ever had in my whole life.
It takes so long.
I know.
She has such a lot of equipment.
It takes her like an hour to load in, hence the reason you just thought all the equipment.
Exactly.
Now I understand.
And I've like figured out a way I'm like the multitasking queen.
So I will just be laying there doing the facial, doing the body work.
I have the neurotrice machine like hooked up to the body.
so it's like a workout for three hours as well.
And then I have my computer, my iPad,
and I'm just laying there either doing conference calls
or approvals for different product lines
or just listening to music, writing music.
I just every second of that time I'm working the whole time.
So I see it as like beauty and business at once.
Do you think about the beauty regime
and the longevity regime as part of
your brand or is it just like a place that you're interested?
I see it as both, you know, for the brand just to feel my best, look my best.
And I just love it.
I don't know.
It's just like a whole thing.
And it's like I could work while doing it.
So why not?
Why not?
Tell me about work life balance.
Like do you believe in work life balance?
Yes.
Definitely with being a mom.
I've learned that they say no because before I did not say no.
So now, just like everything I do, it has to be something that is impactful, something that's important to me.
I love that I'm able to bring my babies with me all around the world.
They grow up so fast and I don't want to miss a moment.
So I'm always having them with me if I'm doing rehearsals for like one of my concerts, like they always come and visit me for a couple hours.
And every night doing our bedtime stories and then on the weekends, I don't really go out and,
unless I have to for work.
And then if not, it's just me and the kids,
playing in the dollhouse, hanging out the puppies,
cooking, chilling, doing art in our art room.
You're so cute.
What are the trade-offs for you?
Are there times that you have to turn things down or say no?
I always talk about this in my life that, you know,
you can't have it all all the time.
And I'm interested for somebody like you
if you've figured out some magical way that you can
or if you have to, you know, have some trade-off in your life.
Since having my babies, I just, my priorities have really shifted.
I no longer have FOMO anymore either.
You don't?
Before I used to, like, go out every single night.
Like, I didn't want to miss anything.
I'd be, like, traveling around the world, like on the schedule.
It's like, oh, it's Cannes Film Festival.
I need to be here.
Then I need to go here for Ultra Miami and there.
And it's like I was everywhere all at once.
And now with them, I'm like, I've seen it all.
I've done it all, like unless it's something that's really important or I'm getting paid a lot to be there.
Like, I would rather to be home, chilling, like, in my sweat too and just with my kids.
You really are a homebody, aren't you? So interesting.
I am like a secret introvert.
It's so unbelievable when you see you. What I know of you is that you are, you know, a very sweet and quiet and introverted person, which is.
wild to think about. What's your mothering style? Do you, like, do you have any specific beliefs around
how you're raising your kids or, and what are you life as a mom? I'm a sliving mom. Of course you are.
What else? Yes. What is a sliving mom? What is this new parenting start? A mom that slays
and lives her best life. I think we all aspire to be sliving mom, Zach, for sure. I'm just very playful.
and fun. We loved, like, I'm such a kid at heart as well, so I'm like loving, just laying with
them in bed, watching cartoons. I love going to Disneyland and arcades and just doing fun kid stuff.
I love to cook together. I love to see them smile and laugh. And we just always have the best time
all the time. Like, they're my best friends. Has becoming a mom changed anything about the way you
work or the way that you think about your legacy?
The way I work, it's just about having them there with me as much as possible.
I try to do as much as I can from home.
A lot of my meetings, I always have them with me.
So if I'm doing like a fitting or in a meeting with my team or doing an interview,
I always have them like on my lap.
So just trying to be with them as much as possible.
Yeah, I understand that, of course.
And as your kids get older, I guess that that becomes even more of a thing because I don't know, it all starts.
I mean, I'm just thinking about it so much at the moment.
My son just started middle school.
And so it all becomes so much more real, you know, as they become adults.
And it all just gets so much more serious.
How old is he?
He is 11, turning 12 in December.
And, you know, I feel like I had him two seconds ago.
You know, and it's like I have a 9-year-old and 2, 3-year-olds and an 11-year-old.
And so you think constantly about, you know, what you're doing and how you're spending your time because your time's so unbelievably precious.
You know, it's like that's all we have at the end of the day, our time and our energy.
So I try to think very carefully about how I spend it and what we're doing, what we're doing with our energy.
Ambition comes in all shapes and sizes.

trip today. Go to your happy price. Priceline. I'm so interested because I know that you work a bit
with your husband, much like I do, and you both have very demanding careers. And I wanted to ask you
what the working dynamic is like between you two, both very successful, brilliant individuals.
He is just amazing. He's my best friend. I love just how much he supports me and lifts me up
and just makes me the best version of myself
and is my biggest cheerleader.
He really is.
Always, like, in the front row at my concert,
it's, like, jumping and, like, just making,
I'm just, like, look down at him and just smile.
It's just so cute.
Like, always makes me so happy and feel so safe.
And he's just so loyal and funny and kind and brilliant.
He's one of the smartest people I've ever met
and works so hard.
And it's just,
inspiring to be with him and to get advice from him.
And he just, it's just like, I've never dated or been with a person who's like this.
A lot of men before would get very insecure and feel emasculated.
I bet.
Just be just not used to being with a successful woman.
No, I understand that because I think it takes a very big man to be with somebody who is really successful.
And, you know, not only is he like, like a,
proud, like just so unbelievably proud of you. Like I remember going to a dinner and being sat next
to him and all he spoke about the entire time was you. And I was like, how in love is this man?
Like that's the sweetest thing. And I was like, Yens, you better be talking about me. He's like,
I'm absolutely not talking about you. But, you know, he really is. He's really into what you're doing.
And I wonder what's the biggest lesson that you've learned from marriage and what makes your partnership work.
despite being so much in the spotlight.
It matters so much who you marry and who your partner is.
That will really predict, I think, everything in your life.
Because when you don't feel safe or trusting in a relationship,
you're going to turn down things that you shouldn't.
I don't know.
Just from before, I would be in other relationships.
I feel like I would say no to so many things
because I would be too scared to leave them.
And with him, like, I just feel like the sky is the limit, anything is possible,
because I just know that he is my person.
And he loves me and is obsessed with me and would never hurt me.
Now I just can do everything that I want to do in life
and always know that he's right there by my side and loves me so much
and would do anything for me.
I mean, you're so lucky for that.
What's the working dynamic like?
Like, do you guys actually work together?
No.
No. He runs, he's a founder of M13, which is an investment company, and I do my thing. But he is always there with my team, just helping guide things. And I have ADHD. So I'm sometimes all over the place. And he's like very not ADHD.
He's like the opposite, like a guy who runs and makes a lot of investments. Does he help you with your investments? Because I know that you started to invest in a lot of companies.
Yes, he does. He just is one of the most brilliant investors in the world. He knows everything
about everything and tech and just all of these, you know, every day he's getting approached by
different companies and is just always researching, looking into everything. So he knows about
everything before everyone does. So I'm constantly just learning so much about investing because
before, you know, I didn't really know how to do any of that. So he's really taught me a lot and just
introduced me as well to so many different companies. And yeah, it just opened up this whole new
world to me that I didn't know much about before. My God, I love that. What made you want to start
investing? Just seeing the returns from what he's told me about and what I've seen with him.
Also, just investing in companies that I really believe in, founders that I really love and respect,
and just being involved in different product lines
and just different tech investments and things.
And I just find it all very fascinating.
What is one brutal truth about building an empire
that nobody prepared you for?
Just how important it is to have a team.
And that was one of the reasons that I wanted to develop 11-11 media.
It felt, you know, I was also such a multi-hyphenate
and have so much happening in my business.
None of these agencies were even prepared for what I was doing because it was so ahead of its time.
And I don't think there was anyone who is doing as many different types of projects as myself.
So I really wanted to build a company where all of my businesses could be under one umbrella.
And it's just been life-changing ever since, basically having this whole machine behind me where it's like my dream factory.
So like any dream that I have, I'm able to create and just have make happen.
And if I didn't have my own company like this, I don't think it would be possible because
a lot of agencies are not really certified to handle something like me.
They're not set up for you.
Best business decision you ever made, do you think?
Best one is creating 11-11.
No doubt.
For sure.
It feels like it.
It really.
For that reason.
if we were to sit down 20 years from now,
what would you want to have accomplished?
Just continue doing what I'm doing
and expanding my brands all around the world
and producing content, films,
and things that have true meaning
and that are making incredible impact around the world
to have passed my laws to protect children in all 50 states,
to have my own hotels all around the world,
and just to continue being the best mom and wife and friend and advocate just to be so happy.
That's so nice.
I think you'll do it.
I have no doubt.
I have no doubt.
Is there anyone that inspires you that anyone out there that inspires you from a career point of view
or just a general life point of view?
Because I feel like you're so many people's idols.
Like I just wonder if you have someone that you really look up to.
I've always looked up to my mom.
She's such an incredible woman.
She's so kind.
That's the biggest heart.
She's so funny.
She always wants everyone to be so happy around her.
An important piece of advice that she gave me the night before.
The Simple Life aired.
She said, when the show airs tomorrow on Fox, your life is going to change forever.
And I just want you to never forget.
It's the kind, sweet, and down-to-earth girl you are.
and never let this get to your head.
And that's something that I always really kept close to my heart.
And I think that's so important to have a family like that behind you,
who supports you and gives you that type of advice.
Because being in this town for my whole life,
I've seen so many people come and go
and just seeing how fame has really could change people, you know, in a negative way.
And I never let that happen.
No, that's really clear.
One last question before we move to Rapid Fire.
But what advice would you give your younger self?
I would say that you're going to go through a lot in life
and sometimes it's going to be difficult.
But one day you're going to use your voice
and make a difference for so many people
to always be kind to yourself.
Don't be afraid to show people the real you.
That's a really good advice.
All right.
I'm going to move to rapid fire questions.
Sweet.
Okay, here we go.
What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
Go into my red light bed and cry out machine.
Love it.
What a way to wake yourself up, Jesus.
What's the last thing you do before you go to bed?
I take a bubble bath, my husband, every night.
Sexy times.
I have a huge bath in my bathroom.
That and, like, watch a cartoon.
You don't watch a cartoon?
What cartoons?
Family guy.
Or I watch The Simple Life.
Do you still watch?
the simple life. Yes. Of course you watch a simple life. What time do you go to bed? It's a vent.
If I have to wake up really early, I'll, like, force myself to bed at 11 or 12. But you're an
hour out, right? I'm a night out. So sometimes I'll be up to like 3 in the morning. Oh, Lord.
What's the first fragrance that you ever wore? First one was called Joy. I was something
my grandma and my mom wore back in the day. I loved it. What's the favorite simple,
life memory you have. Favorite one. There was so many fun moments. We worked at this like mermaid
place in Florida. That was so much fun because I was like wearing a mermaid tail for the first time.
And I was always obsessed with Ariel. You felt very at home in your tail. Yeah, the mermaid vibes.
I loved that. I loved working at Sonic. I thought that was so much fun. I just loved all the families that we would stay with.
Everyone was so sweet, especially the letting.
That's so nice. We visited them, Nicole and I for the 20-year reunion and went back to Arkansas,
went to the house, and hung out with them. It was just so fun just to talk about all the memories
together and just see them again. They're so sweet. Oh, I love that. What's a book that changed
your life? The Secret. I love that book. I've read it several times. A great one. Favorite Beauty
Hack that actually works? Perra V, my skincare line. And another,
Another one is putting ice and water in a bowl and putting your face in it for as long as you can over and over again for like 10 minutes.
And it's amazing for depuffing.
I love that one.
Do you have a parenting mantra that you swear by?
I would say, if you slive, you live.
Oh, come on.
That's so good.
We need t-shirts and baby grows.
What's one thing that you valued when you were starting your career that you no longer value?
Hearing what people think.
I think before I just like would care about things that don't really matter.
The thing that matters the most is what you think of yourself.
Damn right.
And how you make people feel.
Yeah.
I couldn't agree more.
And what's one thing that you value now that you didn't back in the day?
just how precious time is.
I think time is the most precious thing in the world.
And before, I just was always living in the moment.
But now with my babies, time matters so much.
They grow up so fast every day.
I'm like, oh, they're so tall or so big.
So just really just cherishing every single moment.
Amazing.
Paris, you are incredible.
Thank you so much.
I love.
Heaven.
