Hello and welcome. This is the Astrology of the Week Ahead podcast, and I'm your host,
Channie Nicholas. Look, I love this week. I'm not going to lie. I'm going to cut to the chase.
This week has such good potential in it. This week wants to help us bounce back from whatever
occurred during last week's full moon that was ripe with potential healing. And it fills us up
with the confidence we need to go forth and prosper and do all kinds of,
amazing things.
In this podcast, we look at the astrology of the upcoming week and how it will be landing
for all of us collectively.
For a more personalized reading that dives into the ways that this week's astrology will
play out for you, download the Chani app for iPhone.
This week features what we call a Jupiter, Kazimi, and it's pretty groovy.
Why?
Well, whatever enters into a conjunction, a relationship with the sun gets infused with the heat and the light and the warmth and the healing powers of it.
The sun is our main source of light and therefore life.
And so when planets pass by the sun, they're said to be in a special condition.
Now, each planet has its own significations, right?
Each planet represents something different.
So if the sun is the heat and the light and the warmth of life-giving force, of the life-giving force of the universe, let's say, or just for our little solar system at least, then Jupiter is the ability to expand.
It's the ability to expand beyond our little tiny human ego. It's our ability to expand through generosity and generativity. It is our spiritual nature.
Jupiter represents our teachers. Jupiter represents our big, bold ideas. Jupiter represents the ability to create
abundance. But I do think that the abundance that Jupiter is speaking to, if and when well used, is about
generosity. It could be about greed if we want it to be, but I think you'll agree that we don't need
any more of that on the planet right now. So this is a gorgeous astrological moment. So this is a gorgeous
astrological moment that helps us to realign with the principle of generosity and of generativity.
And we do that by offering it both to ourselves and to the world at large.
And so as Jupiter makes this conjunction with the sun, on Tuesday, April 11th,
we can treat it kind of like a new moon.
It is a moment to plant seeds for our future growth enhancing potential.
And it's a time to remind ourselves of what we already have.
You know, it's so like trite now to be like, I'm so grateful for.
But really, this is a good day to remember what we're actually grateful for.
Not the stuff we've received, not the accolades we get.
But like, I'm really grateful for that time.
my grade six teacher saw me and said, are you okay? Like, I'm really grateful for that moment
because that moment planted within me the understanding that someone saw me and someone saw me struggle.
And I have a million moments like that. So no matter how much pain I endured or what the things
were, the hardships that I had to get through, when I focus on or when I just remember, it's not
even like to only focus on that, but when I remember and recall the people that came to my aid
and the ways in which life was able to like move me a little this way and move me a little this
way and be like, hey, go down that path, get on the plane, go to L.A., go live your life somewhere else.
And my ability that part of me to listen to those voices or to receive that help or that
recognition, that's what I'm grateful for. That's when I feel actually truly blessed.
When I remember and recall the people that were able or the moments that were able to show me
another way, that were able to lift me up out of my little tiny worldview or my pain or,
you know, all of the things I was focused on and remind me that there was something else.
Those are moments of abundance and gratitude. And those are the moments that hopefully
instill within us a different imprint of how to live, how to live in a more expansive way that
could be really generous. Teachers and teachings are generous in nature, right? Like nobody goes into
teaching for the money. Nobody goes into teaching in this economy for, you know, big accolades.
Like the active teaching is an act of generosity. Teachers are represented by
Jupiter, Jupiter is associated with teachers.
And those that we study with are able to impart wisdom to us because of a spirit of
generosity, because, you know, sometimes their own ego.
But mostly it's because they want to be part of a lineage of passing down something to do
with a wisdom, a wisdom tradition, a way of seeing the world, understanding.
So we talked about teachers last week with the Sun and Chiron Conjunction.
We talked about teachers a couple weeks ago with Jupiter-Kyron conjunction.
And here we are again talking about teachers and teachings and how important it is to acknowledge those in your life.
Like, I don't know if you wanted to send a note to your grade 6 teacher who like helped you with that math problem or helped you, you know, figure out life in some way, shape, or form.
that'd be a super cute way to experience, to express to work with this astrology.
So would doing anything that you want imbued with the spirit of generosity and also a spirit
of confidence and of victory.
This sun Jupiter conjunction is happening in Ares.
It's still Aries season.
And Aries season is all about triumph.
It's all about pushing through the frozen ground of the season that came before us.
to announce that change is here. And again, when we have Jupiter in the mix, that change is about
coming through big obstacles with a sense of faith and a sense of generosity and a sense of
the fact that our purpose here is to give. That is why we're here, right? When we give,
we get to access the very best of not only ourselves, what we could say of something bigger than us,
greater than us. So notice how you're being called to do that. Notice how you're being called to be
big and generous and maybe even how you're called to teach something in your life. Definitely pay
attention to where this is happening in your chart. If you are a subscriber to the Chani app,
I go into great detail about what this means in your chart specifically. But the part of your
chart that contains Ares is going to have this mark and have this blessing. And have this blessing.
thing. And look, this is the big thing that happens, the last kind of big thing that happens while
Jupiter is in Ares. There will be an eclipse here, but this is the last, like, blessing that happens
in this sign while Jupiter is here. Jupiter is about to leave Aries and it won't come back for
another 12 years. So again, paying attention to the part of your chart that contains Aries can be so
important and so fortifying because this is like the kind of last hurrah. And again, because it's a
Kazimi, because it feels like a bit of a new moon, it's a potent portal of seed planting for expansion,
abundance, generosity, wisdom. Okay, the other thing that's happening this week has to do with
the other planet that brings us lovely things, Venus. On Monday, Venus moves into Gemini and it'll be there
from April 10th to May 7th. It's a short little stint. It's chatty. It's flirty. It's a butterfly.
It's very social. It is going to help us to kind of like circulate a lot of affection, we could say.
On Tuesday, April 11th, Jupiter and the sun make a conjunction. On Tuesday, April 11th, the day that the
Sun Jupiter-Kazimi happens, Venus makes a very helpful trine with Pluto. This,
feels like it's helping us to get introduced to relationships, to resources, to situations of
great influence. It feels really powerful and really transformative in a very positive way. So
again, Tuesday's got some really lovely things going on. I will say Friday brings us a little
bit of a reality check. So it feels like we kind of go from a little bit of an early week,
euphoric situation, or at least confidence-boasting situation, to some hard data and some
necessary critique, but also to some limits and restrictions. On Friday, the 14th, Venus makes
a square to Saturn. And there's some renegotiations that have to happen, either in a relationship
or in regards to a creative project or in regards to something about your needs and being able to
understand your values and how to center them. So something has to be said no to on Friday.
And if it's like a party or, you know, the third party you got invited to, it's okay.
Know that Friday is about being able to be discerning and to focus on the pleasures and the
relationships that are the most important to you. All right, y'all, sending you lots of love.
I'm super excited about this Jupiter-Kazimi.
I hope it helps to plant that seed of awareness within you, that you have everything you need,
that you are abundantly resourced as your own human self,
and that you have more than enough to give and to share,
and that wherever this is happening in your chart, you feel that,
and you remember the power of being connected to each other
through a sense of generosity and generativity of the self.
