Three things about this week. It is imbued with the kind of luck we only get once every 12 years if we are lucky. So we are going to do our best to work with it. Number two, things are going to start to turn around. Communication issues are going to start to resolve themselves. Number three, we are going to update and innovate all of our sales. systems. Hello and welcome. This is the astrology of the week ahead podcast. I'm your host, your Astro Bestie, Channie Nicholas. I have been looking forward to this week for many, many,

many, many, many months. If you're like Chani, you keep talking about this once in 12 year special kind of setup. Yes, this is the third and final time. You're going to hear me talk about this in 2025. This is it. This is it. This is. the end. I mean, there's other good things that are going to be happening this year, but not like this. The first two times were June 24th and June 25th. Those were special, significant astrological days that I talked ad nauseum about working with. And this is the third one of 2025. And this is how I want us to think about it. This is how I want us to work with it.

It's very similar to what I talked about back in June if you were with me then. If not, don't worry about it. What I need you to focus on is what you are beginning. Not the results of something, not the proof of concept, not the proof of the work, not proof of anything. I just want you to think about the things that you want to begin, the seeds that you want to plant. And this is what I want you to be thinking about when you're planting these seeds.

seeds. What is the most abundant way to go about this? What is the most abundant thing that I could do? What is the most generous attitude that I could have while I'm going about this business of starting this thing? What is the most appreciation that I could have for the process? How could I support myself in feeling more generous, more abundant, and more grateful for what is already taking place. I want us to think about the fact that the power of this moment, the auspiciousness of this moment, the potential of this moment is rooted in what is already here. It's rooted in what is local. The auspiciousness of this moment is rooted in what's right beside us, right in front of us, right behind us, right all around us. What am I talking about? I'm talking about the fact that Venus,

planet of pleasure and beauty and relationships, is making a conjunction. Conjunctions are beginnings. They are new cycles. So it's kind of like a new moon we could think of. And it's Venus, Jupiter, New Moon. And these are the two best planets that we've got to work with. So when they come together, it is the beginning of a cycle of good in our lives. Jupiter is the planet of abundance and wisdom and luck and bounty and optimism. Both planets help us to open up. Both planets help us to receive. Both planets help us to acknowledge the good and to enjoy.

You know, a lot of things in our life are already really good. I'm not saying the world is not on fire in a lot of different ways. I'm not saying there isn't a lot of very difficult, very, very, very intense things to deal with because there is. And there's so much beauty and so much love and so much connection to be had, so much joy to be had, so much meaning to be made out of what is already present in our lives. And so many of us miss it because we live in systems that tell us. us that we need to go get more. We need to go be more. We need to do more. And that we should devalue what is right here. What is local? What is natural to us? But any planet in cancer is going to tell us that everything that's good is right here. It's right at our fingertips. It's what we nurture. It's what we

nourish. It's what we take care of. It's family. It's that close. And so when Venus and Jupiter, begin a new cycle in a sign that's really strong for one of them, which in this case, it's Jupiter and Cancer is like exalted. It's amazing. It's a once in 12 year situation. So the beginning of a Jupiter, Venus cycle in cancer is super lucky. Is this very lucky auspicious signature happening inside of extreme conditions? Yes.

Inside of situations that are going to put us in between a rock and a hundred. hard place? Yes. Do I wish that wasn't happening? Maybe. But also, why waste time wishing this good astrology was in better conditions? I don't know. Maybe we could just be happy that we're having this moment of luck and we have this abundance right at our fingertips inside of such extreme situations and conditions. I'm saying extreme situations and conditions because last week, Mars made an opposition to Saturn and Neptune. I'm recording this in July. I don't know what's happening in August, but I do know that the world's in a very tricky place. And so I can only imagine that that Mars, Saturn opposition either fell in a harsh way for us in our personal lives,

for our collective lives, or maybe both. So I'm not saying that you should be feeling amazing when you're listening to this, but I am saying that this moment opens up a little window of sweetness and luck and benevolence and even like charm and, things that are lucky and things that are fortuitous. And we're not going to be able to use it unless we slow down and think about what it is, again, we're already rooted into, what it is we already have, what it is we want to do with this moment. And I think that appreciating what we already have, appreciating our connections, appreciating who and what nourishes us, who and what feeds us, who and what loves us or who loves us and who we love is a reminder that no matter what is happening

in the world, we have so much to fight for and we have so much to be in awe of. And we have so much to protect everything, everything, everything is worth protecting and fighting for. And this is the moment for us to be like, okay, I'm planting seeds of abundance amidst destruction. I'm planting seeds of love amidst a lot of cruelty and systematic hate. I'm planting seeds for the future that is not going to be like this because we are going to do everything we possibly can to bring about a different kind of scenario. So anything you can do on Monday that declares that, that declares you are already abundant. You are planting seeds for more abundance. You are nourishing and nurturing yourself.

You are nourishing and nurturing what is good in your life. You are taking care of what is already here. You are a caretaker of your life and of your little section of the world. And anything, anything, anything and everything that you want to grow, write it down on Monday, August 11th. That is when Venus and Jupiter make a conjunction. Write it down. Take one action towards that goal of abundance.

of prosperity and of healing and of connection, of family, of friendship, of love, of hydration, of goodness in your life, take an action towards that goal today. Doesn't matter if it's tiny or massive. It really doesn't matter. I just want you to be clear about your intention. I want you to be clear about the fact that this is the moment we're doing something to seed beauty and abundance and care in our world, in our lives. Because that is what is going to save us, I believe. I mean, you can argue me, but that's what I'm going for on August 11th. And that vibe lasts definitely all week and into the next. The other thing that happens on Monday, which I also think is just like an auspicious sign, is Mercury Station's Direct. Mercury Stations Direct,

Mercury stations direct three times a year usually, sometimes four. So, you know, it's not like the most phenomenal piece of astrology, but it signals a shift. It signals a time where Mercury is still a little slow. It's a little sticky. It's a little tricky. It's not totally worked out, but it's moving towards working our communication issues out for us. It's working towards a resolution. it is a turn towards a moving forward. Not that moving backwards or being reflective is bad because it's really, really good. But it's a time to be like, okay, what did I learn over the last three weeks?

What didn't work? What did I fix? What did I get a sign about was going to break? What did I catch before it totally broke? What broke on me anyways? What did I learn from the breakage, from the wreckage, from the miscommunications, from the mishaps? and what am I gathering myself around and moving forward with?

This is the time to begin to move forward. And again, it's the same day as the Venus-Jupiter conjunction. It is Monday, August 11th. So communication issues will be steadily working themselves out. And the other really interesting thing that happens this week is on Thursday the 14th. And Sunday the 17th of August, Mercury goes from stationing direct, from being like, okay, let's work this thing out to make. a very helpful, exciting sex style with Mars two times because they're changing speeds.

They're like moving at different clips. So they bump into each other. They like see each other across the room and like, hey, oh yeah, I love that. And then they do it again, which is kind of rare. It's interesting that it happens twice. And so this is about having courageous conversations, which we've already been talking about because Mercury has been retrograde in Leo and has been in Leo for a while. And Leo is about the heart. Leo is about courageous leadership above and all else and, you know, including all other things. Leo is about doing something loud and proud and demonstratively and attention-grabbingly. And it is about being really in our own power, in our own sovereignty. And so as Mercury is stationing direct and things are working out, miscommunication,

get worked out. What it is we get is little boosts of courage. It's like we make eye contact or we hear something or we make contact with that cheerleader energy. Like, yeah, man, you got this. You can do this. Someone who's like gassing us up and getting us to go. And it's not in like an overconfident way where we're going to say something that maybe we'll regret. I mean, maybe because Mercury is in Leo. But I think that this is a situation where we're, we're going to say something that we're going to be encouraged to do the thing, to say the thing, to communicate the thing that we need to and is at just the right time. The only other thing that happens this week, and it's a big thing, it's also happening on Monday, August 11th, Saturn in Ares, makes a sex style with Uranus and Gemini.

This is a new setup. Saturn has not been in Aries for like 28-ish years, and Uranus has not been in Gemini for like 84-ish years. So the fact that they're there in this friendly kind of set up together is very interesting and it's very new. It says a lot about revamping our structures. It says a lot about updating our structures in our life. It says something about innovating whatever it is we already have going for us. Saturn is like, this has been here for a long time. Saturn deals with what is traditional and Uranus deals with what is new. And so when we merge those two things, it can be really helpful because we always need to maintain what works. Like we need structures that work and we also need to update them every once in a while or routinely.

And so this is a systems update. It's kind of like a bigger overarching theme that the world is going through. And in your personal life, you'll notice these updates. And it's happening as Mercury is stationing direct. And Mercury is ruling Uranus right now. And so it does feel like there's this kind of like breakthrough energy or there's this energy of like, oh, yes, wait, we could do it this way. And because the Venus, Jupiter is coming together, it's encouraging so much connection.

It's encouraging so much bonding. And it's encouraging, honestly, so much like kinship and love, which we love. So let's update our systems with. a lot of care and compassion and hope and strategy for winning. All right, y'all, my question this week is what aspect is usually overlooked in astrology or like what does pop culture usually overlook? And this is the aspect I think is so important. These are the aspects that I think are so important to pay attention to. If you have a planet in your child, chart that is connected to, like especially within 10 degrees of your ascendant, your MC,

your midheaven, your DC, your descendant, or your I see, that point that is like midnight in our chart. These are called the angles. They're very, very energized points in our chart. When you have a planet connected to one of the angles, it is going to be exceptionally lively, loud, and important to pay attention to because it is so integral in terms of like the framework and the structure of your life. And it's just got this extra pivotal energy connected to it. So anything in your first house or near your AC or ascendant is going to say so much about your

body, about how you look, about how you present yourself, and also about your motivation for living. Like you could have a Leo ascendant, but you could have Saturn on your ascendant. And that is going to change the way in which you do Leo completely. Or say you've got a Virgo ascendant, but you've got Uranus right there. That's going to wildly change how you do Virgo. It's going to make your Virgo a lot louder, a lot more eccentric, a lot wilder, a lot less controlled. If you have that first combo that I mentioned, a Leo ascendant with Saturn right there, it's going to make you way more self-contained. You're not going to be a super wild Leo. Same goes for if you have the sun in that sign and then you've got one of those planets right by your sun. But I think we overlook the angles a lot. In the Chani app, we've gone to great lengths

to write about any planet you have connected to your ascendant, your mid-heaven, your DC or your I see, please go pull up your chart and read about any planet that is connected to one of those points because it will be one of those situations where you're like, oh, that's why I'm so extreme or that's why I have a tendency to be so controlling this area of my life, or that's why, you know, this part of my life is always a little bit fraught, or that's why I'm really lucky in that area of my life. whatever planet is hanging around an angle is just going to be extra important, potent, and present in your life.

Again, if it's on your ascendant, it's going to have to do with you and how you present and how you're motivated. If it's on your mid heaven, it's going to have to do with how the world sees you, how the world interacts with you, and what you do out in the public. If it's on your D.C., it's going to have to do with your relationships, what kind of people you attract, the people themselves, it can often describe the person that you're with. And also just like what kind of dynamics go on for you in relationships. And if it's at the I see, at the root of the chart, it's going to have so much to say about your family, your family values, if you feel connected to your

family or not, if your family feels connected to its own lineage and roots or not, and what that might mean for you and your experience of life. All right, I hope that was helpful.
