Hello and welcome. This is the astrology of the week ahead podcast. I'm your host, Chani, Nicholas. In this podcast, we talk about the quality of time that we're about to live through in regards to the astrology that's happening and how to best work with it, how to best use it, how to best cope sometimes with it. In this podcast, we look at the astrology of the upcoming week and how it will be landing for all of us collectively. So in this episode, we're talking about the week of July 10th. The big news is that Mars is changing signs.

Mars is moving in to Virgo on Monday. And Mars is going to be in a Mercury ruled sign. Virgo is ruled by Mercury. and Mercury is also changing signs on Monday. So it feels like there's a lot of changes that happen on Monday. And at least one of those is going on a very big journey, is taking us on a big journey. Now, as soon as Mars enters Virgo on Monday,

it's moving steadily towards an obstacle, or it's moving us or reflecting back to us an obstacle that we will eventually face come July 20th-ish. So this week is like, okay, we're kind of sussing something out. We're feeling like, huh, that might be a lot of work. But we won't really get into it, most likely, until next week. I just want you to have that at the top of your head. I do not want you to take on battles that are not your own this week. I do not want you to take on work that you don't have to say yes to this week or next. I don't want you to overload your system or your schedule this week or next because most likely it will already feel

like we're kind of moving through mud or we're having to lift a lot of weight or we're having to meet a very hefty challenge. One that will help us to hone our skills. And this is where Mars in Virgo can really help us. Mars and Virgo can work really hard because it's Virgo and Virgo and Virgo wants to develop skills and think about how to most efficiently work in a system. And it's got a lot of excess kind of like energy. Virgo is a mutable sign. So it's about letting go of one thing and preparing for the next thing, but being in a liminal space. being in a place that's kind of like in between. And it has oftentimes, we might say nervous energy or just energy that likes to ramble a little bit. And because it's an earth sign, it's really productive. And so there's a sense of like, huh, I could, you know, create this thing or I could build this thing or I could organize this thing or I could figure this thing out. There's like a lot of mental movement that's always taking place with this sign. So Mars, likes to take action or it's a planet of action it's a planet of movement and direction it's got

heat so there could be a lot going on in terms of our energy like what do we want to do with this energy and again i just want us to remember that next week there's something hefty there so if we feel a little restless this week with this mars in virgo kind of situation just remember to like chill a little because there's there's already enough to do. We don't have to take on extra stuff. But I will say that in our readings this week, I go in depth into this for you in the Chani app because I think this is a really good time period to dedicate ourselves to a specific kind of skill development. So depending on where Virgo is in your chart, depending on where Mars is moving through over the next couple six-ish weeks, this is a really good time to be like, what skill could I develop? What could I learn here? What could I figure out? So go listen to your reading, your weekly reading on the Chani app to think about that, to like conjure something or to

validate a desire to learn something or again, develop and hone in on a skill. Mars is a tool, right? Mars is a pointed object, we could say, if we were going to manifest it into physical form, We could think of like needles, swords, scissors. We could think of weapons and tools, right? A weapon is a tool that can be wielded in any way that we choose to wield it. It's neutral in a sense. And Mars is heated, but it's also what we do with that heat. So in Virgo, again, it's like, oh, how can I be specific about the application of this sharp object?

How could I be really specific and thoughtful and really, really skilled at how I work with this tool that I've got? So Monday, Mars into Virgo. Also Monday, before Mercury moves into Leo and makes an opposition with Pluto, I think this is going to give us an opportunity to unearth some kind of data, some kind of information. probably will also bring about conversations that get to the roots of something. Or we might see headlines where some kind of like truth is exposed or someone who's been doing illegal things for a long time and saying that they're an amazing person. There's like, oh, this is actually a crime or this is actually totally nefarious thing that they've been doing. and there's a communication about that, possibly.

We can see that out in the world. But for our own personal lives, we'll probably feel like we're wanting to dig into a conversation about something or research even. It's a good day for research. Then Mercury moves into Leo, and on Tuesday, it makes us square to the nodes. So again, it feels like,

that's an important conversation to listen to. And it depends on where it's happening in your chart. We, again, talk about that in depth in your reading for the week. But for our, all of us, it feels like there's pivotal information or conversations that are coming to late or that are being had over the course of Monday and Tuesday. And because Mars has moved into a Mercury ruled sign, it feels very focused on this.

Like there's something pointed that we're getting at. There's something being uncovered. And then there's something that we're talking about or learning about that is connected to maybe a thought pattern that we're letting go of or something that we're kind of clinging to and we're needing to be in the middle of it. There can also be a conversation about something that got skipped or missed. There's a kind of philosophy in modern astrology about when planets square the nodes, it's a skip step.

And so you might notice that a conversation is being had or you're starting to think about something or you come across some information. You're like, whoa, I didn't even see this. Or this is something that I usually try to skip out on. but I think it's actually really important for me to pay attention to this and be part of this conversation. So just bearing that in mind. Then the rest of the week is there's not a lot happening on Friday. The only other thing that occurs is that the sun makes a sex style with Uranus that feels, you know, experimental and enlivening and encouraging of our own unique way of doing things.

And also I would say this is a great signature to think about radical. care. How can I radically care for myself, my environment, my friends, my family, my community. How do I do things that feel like they are in alignment with radically caring about my life? Because it's the sunning cancer. So it wants to nurture and bring about a connection and bring about a sense of family. And Uranus wants to do something in a different way or in a way that can be kind of radical and extreme, but it's about caring. So do with that what you will. You know, have a fun Friday. Next week, we've got a lot on our plate. Venus is going to station retrograde. We've got a Mars sat on opposition. It's sticky. It's challenging. It gets to the heart of the matter.
