our website, channey nicholas.com. In this episode, we are going to talk about the astrology
for the week of July 11th. If you're new to this kind of thing, you might be wondering why
you should care. Well, A, you don't have to, but B, if you're here, you probably want to get
some kind of insight about the ways in which this week might unfold and how to best work with
it. Astrology is like a weather report. It gives us the tones and temperatures of the moment,
and then we can choose how we want to work with it. You have free will, but these are the conditions
within which we are going to be working with that free will. This week is home to a full moon in
Capricorn, and that is going to be the central focus of the week. So that full moon is happening.
on July 13th. That's a Wednesday. It's happening at 1138 a.m. Pacific time. For some of you,
that will actually be Thursday, depending on where you are in the world. But for most of us,
we'll be feeling this from especially Tuesday into Wednesday and probably through to the beginning of
Thursday. Now, what does a full moon in Capricorn bring us? It usually brings us the opportunity to get
something done to achieve something, possibly. But it is a moon in Capricorn moment. And the moon feels
especially unresourced or not very well resourced in Capricorn. It is the sign that is
opposite to where the moon's home is. So it feels a little uncomfortable here. And the moon is about a
lot of things. It's about our body. And it is also about how we nourish and take care of this
vessel. And in Capricorn, if it's under-resourced, we might feel these impacts a little bit more
physically than usual. So one of my suggestions is to take extra good, loving care of your body this
week. Give it extra hydration, extra time in the bath or in the massage moment, or in the nap,
or in nature, whatever helps your body feel replenished, rest, good food, lots of water,
lots of things that make you feel like you can soften and open and take in the nourishment
that is around you.
This full moon, though, however, hold on, is sitting right next to Pluto.
Pluto is a planet that is about the underworld.
world. It's about power and the resources that might be underground. In psychological terms, this is
about the wealth that we can access when we do that work of digging into the minds of our
minds and hearts and souls. We have to go in and sort through and dig up and understand and
come to terms with and grieve over and process. Pluto is about the death and rebirth cycle of going
into our own underworld, and going into our own undergrounds and retrieving the psychological,
spiritual, emotional gold that is at the heart of some of our hardest moments. And because it's
a full moon conjunct Pluto, it could feel like a moment.
moment where things end or transform. Like we can no longer go forward in this iteration of this
relationship or situation. The relationship or situation actually has to go through a metamorphosis,
meaning the shape it was in until this point is no longer. And so there's an end to one thing
and maybe a transformation into another thing or maybe a realization that we've completed a certain
process around something. And we can now let it go and move on. So all that to say,
midweek feels like it will be especially taxing deep, transformative in regards to our physical,
emotional, spiritual, psychological selves, so the whole of us. What can you do with this full moon?
You can know that it's happening. So Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday might feel like we're building,
we're building, we're building. And then on Wednesday and Thursday, it is like the peak experience
to the come down. Usually the day after a full moon, people are fairly wiped out. And on the way to
the full moon, things can feel kind of frenzied. Everything is getting stirred up. And because this full moon is
conjunct Pluto, it's things from the deep getting stirred up. So what you can do is know that.
and to hold space for yourself and for everybody else that is going through it.
I'm not saying that it will be tough, but I do think it will be deep.
And that depth has a cost.
We have to bake in time to recover.
So I think that it's really important that on Thursday and Friday,
we be extra gentle with ourselves and allow our bodies to have a moment to recalibrate,
allow the whole of us to have a moment to recalibrate. Now, the cool thing is that by Saturday,
we have something that is actually quite refreshing, kind of like a palate cleanser after the
very complex taste of the full moon. And that pallet cleanser is the sun and mercury coming together.
We call it a Kazimi. Mercury is direct. And when Mercury and the sun come together,
there is a kind of purification process that happens, but also a brilliance that occurs. And we are more
likely to receive downloads and clarity about a situation. Mercury is the messenger. So this is
the moment where messages can flow more freely to us. And because on Sunday, Mercury and the
sun make a trine to Neptune, it feels like we're especially
open to intuitive information and our own inner wisdom. So what I would say is no matter what comes
up or gets worked out through the full moon. This week teaches us to listen to ourselves and to know
that doing so is the most powerful medicine that we can apply to ourselves and our lives. And this
listening that we're being asked to do, especially on Saturday, is all about how we also care
for ourselves and each other. We do so many things. We're trained to do so many things in the
world that go against our inner voice. It's kind of how society is shaped, at least right now.
We don't live in a world that's like, well, what do you think is true for you? It's all about
where the power is externally in the world and how we can position ourselves to be in proximity
to external power instead of relying on our relationship with our inner self and a higher power
or a guiding force or whatever you want to call it. And that being our true connection to power.
So because there's so much about power connected to this full moon because Pluto is about power
and because there's so much about listening connected to this week's astrology because of the Mercury Sun Kazimi,
I think it's a deep invitation or it's a beautiful invitation to listen deeply to ourselves
and therefore learn so much more about how to actually access our power by aligning with something greater than ourselves
and listening intently to ourselves.
All right, Joe, that's the reading for the week.
So beginning of the week is going to feel like a building crescendo of activity midweek.
It's going to peak.
And then the end of the week, we are going to be putting the pieces back together.
Be very gentle.
Go slow.
Be sweet, sweet and kind to your body and your being.
And by Saturday, there is a flood of intel and intuition.
And it's another invitation, you know, to listen.
to yourself to listen to that calling or that higher self or inner self, whatever you want to
call it, but also to see how things flow. Like this is a moment, the end of the week, Saturday and
Sunday, where a lot of synchronicity will be afoot. And I find that being in the flow of those
moments is so refueling for me. We go through moments that feel much like,
a intuitive desert sometimes. Like it's not, I don't know about you, but my intuition is not always
blaringly loud at me. And then there are moments that are aided in my perspective by the astrology
where we get to be like, oh, there it is. Oh, I see how everything's working. In fact, it's not that
my or our intuition goes underground. It's that life is organizing itself. And it's really easy to lose
faith when things aren't flowing in the way that we think they should in the timing that we think
should happen. And then there are moments where you're like, oh, all of that had to come together.
I had to actually doubt my process or things had to become invisible to me or go underground in
some way for this other affirming event to occur. So I hope that the end of the week,
whatever trials and tribulations, the full moon brings us,
end of the week is a blessing of sorts in regards to getting the thumbs up from our life,
the thumbs up from the universe, the thumbs up from the invisible world around us. Yes, you're
on the right track. Yes, it goes this way. Yes, you're doing what you need to do. Keep trusting.
Keep moving with the energy of your life and keep listening to that inner voice.
If you are a subscriber to the Chani app, we have a full moon meditation for you this week.
We have a reading on what this full moon might be bringing you.
And we have a full moon ritual, alter suggestions, and also journal prompts specific to your sign.
If you want to work a little deeper with this moment.
I just want to say thank you so much to those of you that have left a review of
of the Channy app in the app store.
We so appreciate the time and energy it takes to do so.
And we want you to know that we read each and every one of them
and take all of the suggestions to heart.
I wanted to share a recent review with you.
This one is called Celestial Bonanza.
This app is chock full of so many good astro things,
wrapped in delightful aesthetics.
The info is solid.
The advice is practical.
and inspiring, and the artwork and writing are pure pleasure. Of the many, many useful features,
I'm most excited about the transit section, particularly current personal transits. I have an
intermediate, early intermediate grasp of astrology, but not the tools to regularly know
transit aspects beyond conjunctions to my needle chart. Now I do. This feature alone is worth the
price of entry for me. Well done, team Channy. Sending you lots of love, many full moon blessings.
Bye for now.
