It's going to move into a relationship. with Uranus, the planet of upheaval and disruptions and breaking with tradition. This planet scoffs at conformity. So we're asked in some way, shape, or form to find pleasure in the most unexpected of places and to break with any norm or tradition that was put in place merely to control us. In this episode, we're going to talk about the astrology of the week of June 6th. Now, in general, there's actually not a ton of astrology going on, which is kind of good because

we can focus in on the loudest event and really the only event that is most likely to create some fireworks. Our Lady Venus actually doesn't really like to create fireworks, at least not in Taurus. This is a placement, Venus and Taurus, that is really good at stabilizing, at creating fertile environments at bringing about the greenery of spring and the lushness of a well-tended garden. That's not a place where a lot of disruption happens. That's a place that feels pretty even keel. Day in, day out, things are allowed to bloom and come into being. And that garden is to be enjoyed and that enjoyment is to be spread around. However, this week at the end of the week, on June 11th, Saturday, Venus makes that conjunction with Uranus.

And Uranus is a planet, again, of breaking things up. That's not good for stability. That's not good for gardening. We don't want lightning to strike our strawberry patch. You know what I mean? It's not a situation that is conducive, these two planets. have very different agendas. However, when they come together, they can create something really interesting. If Venus is about beauty, then conjunct Uranus, it flips beauty standards. If Venus is about

relationships, then conjunct Uranus, this is about doing relationships in a different way, in a nonconformist type of way. It's about finding new ways of being in honest, honest dynamics. and equal partnerships. If Venus is about women and femmes or about any marginalized gender under patriarchy, then this moment could see anyone whose gender is marginalized in patriarchy get loud. This is about upsetting the status quo and being willing to forego a little ease and a little pleasure for the truth, for an emergent reality that needs to come to the forefront and needs to get loud and chaotic and be groundbreaking just to do its job. There's a sleepiness that can happen with Venus and Taurus because it's so lovely that like falling asleep in the afternoon sun as like

the bees buzz and the creek rolls through and, you know, all of the wonderful central delights of nature are happening and we just want to drift off. We just want to relax. We just want to be submerged in the beautiful rhythms of the natural world. But when Venus makes this conjunction with Uranus, something in us has to wake up out of that ease or out of that slumber and come to the force. So we might notice this in the world at large. We might notice this in our own personal life. And the most important thing to do with this astrology is to think about where it's happening for you. Another thing to note is that this is that this is a little bit of the moment. is happening in Taurus, which is where we just had an eclipse on April 30th. So you might think back to the end of April, the beginning of May, and think about the changes that were occurring for you then because this moment is in some ways connected to that. There is a longstanding upheaval that's going on in the area of your chart that contains Taurus because Uranus is traveling through this part of your chart. So in many ways, this is just one more chapter in that longer story of change and awakening that is going on for you. This will be most potent for folks with Taurus rising and also, I would say, Libra Rising.

Because if you have Taurus or Libra Rising, Venus rules your ascendant. And when Venus goes through a big moment of change like this, it's most likely going to do something for you. This week's astrology for you is most likely going to feel awakening, enlivening, and maybe even encourage your own rebelliousness. Okay, so the only other piece of astrology that's happening this week is on Friday, June 10th, Mercury, now direct, is making a trine to Pluto, which is really helpful. Mercury is still in its post-retrograde shack.

and it's putting some pieces back together. And the pieces that are being put back together have something to do with power and resources and having access to them. So pay attention to the conversations that give you little tips and tricks about how to do that. And that's it, y'all.

The main feature really is that Venus-Uranaus conjunction, a little disruption, a little chaos, a little non-conformity, especially when it comes to art and culture and relationships, beauty norms and standards, and anything to do with gender equality.
