This is the Astrology of the Week Ahead podcast. I'm your host, your Astro Bestie Chani Nicholas. And in this podcast, we are talking about the week of November 24th

and the astrology there within. And my friends, my job here is to help us make the most of our time here on Earth, given the astrological framework that we have to work within. So while there are so many gorgeous, gorgeous, beautiful things happening this week, I want us to remember that by December 8th, we are going to be in a time crunch. So while there are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous things to help us live out our life in the best way we possibly can this week, we know that we should not be saying yes to anything that we do not have to do right now. We do not want to take on anything extra right now. We know that we're going to maybe be encouraged to be like, yeah, sure, throw it on my plate. I could do that. I could fit it in.

I don't need to sleep in that. I don't need to. I'll put other things off. Don't do it. Don't put anything off that you know you need to do. Do not mistake your priorities. Do not think that somebody else has something more important to do than the priority that you have set for yourself. Do not abandon yourself this week for fun or for any other reason. I need you to keep your eye on the prize. I need us to get past December 8th. And then we're kind of like free for a little bit, for a moment. But from now until December 8th, we're going to be like very conscientious about how we're scheduling things, very conscientious about the fact that this week might trick us into thinking that like, oh, yeah, it's going to be easy. It'll be fine. I've got this in the bag. And maybe that's true.

maybe I'm wrong and maybe that's true. And the worst that could happen is you just end up with some extra time next week if you heed my warning and you don't need it. So just think of like, oh, it would be great to have a little extra time next week. Okay. Listen, on Monday, we start out with something that is a tiny bit heated. Mars makes a square to the nodes. So this is the only like red flag of the week. And it's not even that. major, it might have something to do with the world events that we're living through. There might be like a little uptick of heat and anger that happens on Monday. But and also on Monday, Mercury retrogrades back to and Venus bumps into each other. Mercury and Venus bump

into each other. And this is very like love letter astrology. This is very much about the airwaves being filled with notes of appreciation. So the Mars square the nodes is going to like activate us in some way and it's going to stir some kind of pot. It's going to like wake up some kind of conflict. But the Mercury Venus conjunction might help to smooth everything over. I do think that we're going back to something. We're going back and we're looking at something that's like, oh, that sounds really nice.

You know, sometimes when you open up your phone and you're like, what was that text that person sent me. And then you scroll through it and you're like, oh, wow, I remember having that conversation. That was so sweet. It's kind of like that. So it's also a good time to look for things to appreciate about your life and things to appreciate about other people and to tell them. Reach out to somebody that you have yet to reach out to or that you haven't reached out to in a while and just tell them what you appreciate about them. Or remember something they told you and just check in with them. be like, hey, how'd that meeting go? Hey, had that class go. Hey, had that date go. Just remind people that you're listening and you're paying attention to them and their lives and that they're important to you.

It can go a really long way. And it's also really fortifying just to do because it reminds us of our humanity. On Wednesday, we have one of the best signatures we can have. Wednesday is a day that's imbued with a lot of sweetness and a lot of luck. Mid-week, we have something gorgeous to look forward to and to work towards. On Wednesday, Venus makes a trine to Jupiter, and this astrology is really encouraging of what we might describe as good luck. But we know that luck is just preparation meeting opportunity. So I want you to spend the week preparing yourself for opportunity. What opportunity? I don't know. what opportunity do you want? Prepare yourself for it. If you want to call in a relationship, prepare yourself in your life and your space for a relationship. If you want to call in a new job,

prepare yourself for that new job. If you want to call in more friends, prepare yourself and your life for those new friends. What does that mean? That's very specific to you. Maybe you need to learn how to again, do what I described on Monday and reach out to people and be like, hey, I appreciate you. Hey, I was just wanted to check in with you about this. How did this thing go? If you are interviewing for a new job, then maybe circle back around and make sure you said thank you for the interview or you make sure you say to the people that interviewed you, like, thank you so much for asking me this specific question. Be very specific with people. Be nuanced. Remind the world and remind all of your people and all of your interactions that you're paying attention,

that you're conscious, that you're present, you're not distracted, and that people are important, that these moments are important to you, that these interactions mean something to you, and see just how much luck starts to build throughout the week. On the 27th on Thursday, Saturn Stations Direct. So this is like a moving forward type of energy. It's really like slow because it's stationing. So Saturn themes start to really fill the airwaves, which is about responsibility, which is about maturity, which is about integrity. And then on the 29th, the Mercury Stations Direct. So that is also going to pull focus. So any of those deep conversations that you've been needing to have, that you've been having, that you've been wanting to have, also start to call us. Now, the cool thing is that when Venus made a trine to Jupiter on Wednesday,

it also made a trine to Saturn. So there's this grand water trine happening. And Mercury is really close. And so Mercury and Venus are trining Saturn and Jupiter and Neptune, basically. All those planets are kind of like lined up all in the same similar-ish degree. And so this week is also about flow. I want you to focus on what is flowing in your life. Not because everything should be easy, but when it is easy, we should capitalize on it. When it is easy, we should relax into it. And because Jupiter is a part of this week's astrology and because Venus is a part of this week's astrology, Venus is making the conjunction with Mercury on Monday, making a triumph of Jupiter, one of the best things it can do on Wednesday,

Venus, the planet of connection. And Jupiter, again, planet of abundance and blessings. These two featuring throughout the week with the astrology is saying, where can I relax? Where can I open and where can I receive? Where can I stop forcing or pushing? or exerting this world is so based on exertion and dominance that we forget about the power of reciprocity, but also of simply receiving, relaxing, opening up to what wants to flow to us. And again, flowing to other people, being like, hey, thank you so much.

Hey, how did that thing go? hey, I'm a person that's in connection with you. I'm present. I'm not distracted. I care. I'm here. All of these things lining up in water signs is saying, it's time to remember how to care. It's time to demonstrate our care. It's time to be boundyed, you know, make sure you're taking care of yourself and you got your food and your water and your rest and all of that. But to demonstrate our care through our actions, through our words, through our ability to be in relationship with one another. Okay. So Thursday, Saturn. Stations direct. Saturday, Mercury, stations direct. Sunday, Venus and Neptune make a trine, which is very romantic. It's very sweet. It's very

idealistic. It's a lovely signature for a Sunday. It's a great time to hang out with your besties. It's a gorgeous time to go watch a rom-com or a double feature. It's a great day to do a little escape. It's a great day to romance yourself, to romance your life, to be in love with art, to be inspired by other people's creativity and also by your own. And then Venus moves in to Sagittarius, where it will be a little bit more freewheeling and fun. It leaves the intensity of Scorpio, and it's a little bit more uninhibited with its search for pleasure, which I think is cute. and it'll show you how to do so. So here's our question of the week. My twin and I were born just over an hour apart. The biggest difference in our charts is our rising signs. Huge. How much influence does that have on our personalities and life outlooks? Massive. Okay. Love this question.

I mean, that can sometimes be rare. A lot of times twins are born with the same rising sign, only a couple of degrees apart. Now, I have to remind us that every single degree of every single sign has what we might say a meaning or each degree is ruled by different planets or has different ways of being understood depending on what kind of astrological technique we're using. So there's many different ways of understanding and unveiling or revealing the meaning of like this degree of Scorpio and that degree of Scorpio and this little chunk of Scorpio and that little chunk of Scorpio or any sign. So even a couple of minutes difference between you and your twin

is meaningful because most likely the ascendant has changed the degree and that could bring us a different type of meaning in that part of that sign. That's very technical, but it's a way in which we can distinguish twins from each other or people born at the exact same time and the exact same place from each other. Now, another part of your question was, what difference would it make in your personalities and your life outlooks? I want to also remind us that our astrology chart is a lot more than just a personality test. I know that that's how we use it quite often because that's a very helpful and affirming lens to look at ourselves through. But I want us to remember that the astrology chart, our astrology chart, your astrology

chart tells me about your career, not your personality per se, but your actual career, your coworkers. It tells me about your siblings if you have them. It tells me about your home. It tells me about children if you have them or want them. It tells me about your mate. It tells me about your besties. It tells me about your activism.

tells me about literally everything, your mental health, like what you do when A, B, or C happens. So it's not just a personality test. It's also about how your life is literally set up and where in the world, where in life you need to go in order to live a life of purpose. So if you have a different rising sign than your twin, that to me is a massive difference. Yes, the planets were mostly still. except for the moon might have moved, you know, a degree or so, a couple degrees. Degree, depends on what sign it was in. But the moon will have moved slightly. But a different rising sign is a complete shift of how everything is set up.

You have a different ruler of your ascendant. Your sun, your moon. Every single planet is in a different house. The ruler of your ascendant is a planet that steers the ship of your life. It tells us what area of life you need to go in. So you have a different planet, A, that rules, that steers the ship of your life. And it's going to be in a different part of your chart. So you're going to different destinations and you're driven by different ways of being.

So the rising sign tells us so much about your destiny, about your fate, about your life purpose. I don't mean to say that everything in your life is faded or destined. but there are certain things that are kind of unmistakable that you're like, well, maybe it was supposed to be this way. And your rising sign sets up the entire schema of your chart. It shows me what areas of life are influenced by what and where to go to make sense of, to heal, to be successful, what struggles you have. So you and your twin are going to have different areas of life that you're guided towards that you need to develop yourself within, even though the planets, for the most part, are going to be in the same relationships with each other.

They're relating from different areas of life. So I would love to know more about what that means for you. I'd love to sit down with both of you and be like, okay, you're supposed to go here and you are supposed to go over here. That's really different. Great question. Astrologers get asked about twins all the time. And again, if you have a really similar degree of your rising sign, that can, you can,

can be much harder to parse out what is different about this twins' life and this twins' life. And again, sometimes when you get into the minutia of what each degree of each sign is about, you can start to see differences. They'll be much smaller than having a different rising sign.
