Um, you can't be fighting on the street. Are you the whole police? Or are you just one lowly officer? When I wear this badge, I represent all police. Hey, yeah, I take the badge and I eat it. Because I'm Blanca. I'm a beast filled with the power of- Oh, you're under arrest. Well, no, no, don't. Sir, sir, sir,
Starting point is 00:02:20 calm down for a second. You're under arrest. I did nothing wrong. You cannot arrest that. But Blanca has the power of electricity and the green skin of an ogre. And I... You win. What? You win. What do I win? You can fight on the streets.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Ha! And I break the handcuffs off because I'm Blanker. The strength of electricity and the power of an ogre. Ha! No one can beat the street fighters. Don't he miss a street fighter? They don't even street fighter. They can kill cops.
Starting point is 00:02:55 30 minutes street fighter 30 mid street fighter And they can get arrested at any time 30 minutes street fighter 30 mid street fighter Sorry cut it Sorry boys I've recently
Starting point is 00:03:12 Since this street was rezoned I've moved into an apartment here Yeah And you're very loud And it is past 11 These are street fights mister We don't listen to rules about zoning and other things that the council might consider
Starting point is 00:03:29 fine or good. We fight by the fist. We live by the road. And I'm king. I'm half a leopard. Okay. You're from a different franchise, but it's good to have you here.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Sorry about the misunderstanding. I'm a street rider. I'm a sumo wrestler. I will hit you with my 10,000 punch move. And I'm Honda, HRV. I'm a small sedan. Yes, and I will fight the E Honda.
Starting point is 00:03:55 No, E-Honda will fight the Honda. HRV. But driving the Honda is Raiyu, the martial arts expert that can shoot kind of like a power ball from his fist. Hadwagon. So is that okay? Yeah, no, sorry. Is that cool? No need to do any of that.
Starting point is 00:04:14 I will try to keep it down after 12. Can I fight? Sorry, go. May I suggest noise canceling headphones? Oh, you can get great Sony's these days that cancel out noise. it wouldn't even bother you in your sleep. Or earplugs. Are you fighting every night?
Starting point is 00:04:28 You street fighting. We fight different places all over the world. Yeah. This one's taken place here. And then tomorrow there's a tournament out the front. You know, you could have gotten a permit for this. No time. No, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:39 When you're a street fighter, we don't have a lot of time for logistics. It's a time thing. I understand. Do you want to join us for a song? Or a fight? No, I'd rather not. Do you want to join us for a street fight? Oh, no, no, definitely.
Starting point is 00:04:51 Are you sure? We could teach you some moves. I haven't had a street fight in years. years. Well, what better way? What's your name? Yeah. My name?
Starting point is 00:05:01 Jamry. Jamry. Oh, the ancient warrior Jamry. I remember when you were a street fighter. I know of you, Jamry. They tell tales of your street fights. I haven't street fought. I heard once you even fought on a lagoon that was near a street.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Yeah, I fought on a lagoon. Yeah, the fight spilled out from the street onto the top of a lagoon. Yeah, yeah. And you drowned your opponent. Thank you. That's very kind of you. But I'm not a street fighter anymore. I just own a store that sells Nixon Nax. I challenge you, Nix and Nax, man, to a street fight.
Starting point is 00:05:36 No, no, no. Oh, come on. No, no, no. It'll be good. Reclaim your title as the world's greatest street fighter. Okay. Hit it. Sputtyman's a street fighter.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Footing a street fighter. The old master's been challenged. 30 minutes street fighter. 30 minute street fighter 30 minutes street fighter Let's go to the club 30 minutes street fighter 30 minutes street fighter
Starting point is 00:06:03 30 minutes street fighter Yeah it's good this beepy boppy beat 30 minutes street fighter Come on chamery Do the fight now Yeah Yeah They're street fighting
Starting point is 00:06:19 Years of selling knickknacks I've made you weak old man Are you good at being able to tell the different To know what change to give someone when buying in cash But are you good at an uppercut? Yeah Yes you are, you broke my jaw What do you think of this music here
Starting point is 00:06:38 It's pretty cool Well let's go to the club Yeah Let's all go to the club Together and the plays at some big club music the lights the drugs the women
Starting point is 00:06:53 and boys dancing all night at 3 a.m. of course I'll have a little go sing please don't I wrote the song I wrote the song
Starting point is 00:07:06 I can't ruin the beat here in Berlin in the underground sing sing for him I am concerned for all of the clubs in this city Why? Why? Why?
Starting point is 00:07:22 Gentrification means that 50% are thinking of shutting down. Oh yeah! We were street fighters now we are the club in the Deutschland club and it's as a gispracken. Insultigugugung. I've named in Zanvig, a year old, a hund. My camp is I cannot dance enough. That's not. That's not.
Starting point is 00:07:49 Mind my struggle. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. My God, please, I cannot dance enough. Yeah, yeah, and when Germany do haste mish. I want to have a little cigarette while in line for this little club. This club opened in 1992. They just walked into an abandoned department store. They opened it.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Oh, a little song starts This little song starts You know This is a crazy thing about this DJ He actually doesn't blend the songs You actually see the silence for a moment It's a new wave Check it out
Starting point is 00:08:33 Yeah, this is a great song 30 minutes of street fighter 30 minutes of street fighter In the clubs in Germany It's 30 minutes of street fighter Fuck you 30 minutes street fighter 30 minutes street fighter
Starting point is 00:08:45 We're in Germany and it's 30 minutes of Street Fighter. Maybe we'll start fight dancing to blend the two worlds that we've created of the underground clubs and the Street Fighter Fighting
Starting point is 00:09:00 Wouldn't it be fun and great to dance street fighting with your mates Oh, all I want to do is dance and fight In the Street in the Club I want to dance fight with you, my love in the club tonight, baby. What if we found a club that looked like a street?
Starting point is 00:09:22 An underground club that was on a street and we danced fight. Well, it wouldn't be either of the two. But it's a pretty good compromise. Yeah. I think we've just gone to exempt these two ideas
Starting point is 00:09:38 that really work together. We've got a fun idea in the street find a thing. We've got a fun idea the Germany thing Berlin bike clubs having a dancer Drink part of Japanese video games
Starting point is 00:09:52 They don't work together Just do one or the other Don't try to blend it It's not good a lot But a good relationship But what if Ryo loves Chun Lee Blue Jade What
Starting point is 00:10:06 What? What? What? What? What? What? What? What?
Starting point is 00:10:10 What? What? What? What? What? Characters from the street body name, but I know are well enough to know all of those names. I know some of them on you 50%. But I can't make any sense.
Starting point is 00:10:26 What if DJ loves E Honda? What? There's a character called DJ? What if Lily loves JP? What's who's JP? That sounds like characters from Parks and Rick. This is a really great track about Street Fighter. Yeah, it's the German club street.
Starting point is 00:10:46 street fighter. Jesus. So there's a man over there and the other side of the club. He's fissing another man. I'm cool with that. Welcome to Street fighter. That's the kind of club.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Street fighter. So there's people all around the clubs they're fisting each other. But we're just having a dance. It's not about the fissing. It's just about having a dance. We are at the Fist Fighter Club. It's so funny.
Starting point is 00:11:06 You talk about street fighting with your fist. I talk about fissing with my fist, but it's all cool, you know, whatever you want to do. Here they say, here in Berlin, We have lots of fun
Starting point is 00:11:18 Everyone can do what's a If you want to have a street fight Like a Japanese game If you want to feast a man Or a pass flame You can do it all at Zeperkheim Do whatever you want It is fine
Starting point is 00:11:40 Just wear sexy clothes Or we won't let you in I wear those clothes, but don't wear a fin because we might sing that you're a little dolphin. A dead will try to save your put seal into water. 30 mid street fighter. 30 mid street fighter. 30 mid street fighter. Not a lot of street fighter anymore.
Starting point is 00:12:06 If you wear a fin in the line for the burkine, I'll warn you know. Now we might sing that you're a dolphin or maybe a whale. We might try to do a free-wheely type of situation. We'll take you from the line. We won't bet you in the club. We'll try to put you in the ocean and heck you might drown. That you miss a street spider. The wall explodes and E-Honda fighting Blanca roll.
Starting point is 00:12:42 E-Honda is responsible for the end of the East and West divide? What? Yes, the wall has fallen down, the Berlin Wall, but just a part of it that's one of the bits that's still standing. Yeah, so he's, E-Honda could get in a lot of trouble for destroying a piece of heritage. A wall. But they'd sell them in little bits. Yeah, so he starts a store.
Starting point is 00:13:12 selling bits of the wall. Trinkets. When we come back from the break, we're going to find out what's happening with the wall. And also, what happens if you wear a fin? We're going to dig a little deeper into what happens if you wear a fin if you're in the line for the Bergheim.
Starting point is 00:13:28 And we're back. So last time we were talking on this podcast, E-Honda and Blanker just destroyed a piece of the Berlin War. They've decided rather than keep doing their street fight to sell the pieces. trinkets at various tourist trap areas of Berlin. Yeah, yeah. They go around, they go, hey, do you want something for free?
Starting point is 00:13:49 Do you want something for free? And then when someone takes it, then they hold on to them and they go, well, actually, that's like about 50 euro. Can I take a step back even further? So we were doing 30 minutes of street fighter. And then a song kind of sounded like a German club thing. And so now we are seamlessly merging those two worlds together. Also, maybe about three, four minutes ago, I introduced sort of the concept that perhaps part of the reason a lot of people aren't getting into the Bergheim.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Famously, it's hard to get in. Yeah. Is maybe because they're wearing fins. And I just want to mention that, you know, I know there's a lot of comedy podcasts out there, but how many of them just stop dead at 15 minutes and start to sort of just break down and analyze what they've been doing? I don't know. I don't listen to comedy podcasts, and that's evident. Yeah. And I just want to say, like, you're lucky listeners, you're getting something that no one else
Starting point is 00:14:48 really gets. And now, is there a reason why no one else really gets this? Yeah, yeah. Maybe professionalism or... I felt compelled to stop and explain what was going on in a kind of last ditch effort to... But do you think that helped? Because I think that your explanation, I'm still confused. And you kind of got it...
Starting point is 00:15:09 But at least, at least, you know. No, go on. No, you kind of got it wrong because we did merge the two worlds together, but then it then went off. I tried to bring it back to Street Fighter, but then it went into a world of selling trinkets. I just don't want to forget that. No, no, no, I'm bringing it up.
Starting point is 00:15:28 A lot of people, they travel to Berlin. They've heard about Birchheim. They're not big clubbers anyway. They've heard about Burkheim. They want to get in. And I feel like I can give you the advice. and the advice is do not wear any kind of fin. Is that based on any, like, is that a news article or something?
Starting point is 00:15:47 No, it's based on the film Free Willy. Mm. Where they mistook a burglarne dancer for a whale. Is that actually in the movie? I think it's in Free Willey too. It's the whole movie. Is it? Yeah, that tragic ending where they drown that raver.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Yeah, right. Like, they're trying to save the raver and then they make, then the ravert jumps over the wall and then drowns. My memory of that film is slightly different. You probably thought it was a whale as well because he was wearing a fin. So we got three things going on. Yep. Street fighter.
Starting point is 00:16:22 German club scene. A misconception of the film Free Willy. Specifically, what misconception. Yeah, you two, yes. There is a misconception. That has happened. And I'm trying to tell you how to get into the Bergheim. and also make sure that no one mistakes you for a dolphin.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Right. Mark, yep. You are a very talented man. Sure. Yeah? Make this work. All right. So here's what we're going to be a professional funny man.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Yeah. Let's not get into that again. Last I'm doing that, it tanked the podcast. No, I'm telling you. And the audience that we have now listening to this, who we just got back. Yeah. Need to see where this goes. What are you?
Starting point is 00:17:05 I'm just telling you, you're a professional funny man. Why are you being weird about it? I'm not being weird about it. I'm going to take that. I'm going to put in my little pocket. Congrats. You're very funny man and you're professional about it. You're a professional funny man.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Thank you. And so are you. And so is Broden. Everyone is a professional funny man full stop. Let's close that case. That is in the past. I don't know why you're making it weird. I don't think I am.
Starting point is 00:17:28 You're a professional funny man. Let's move on. We cannot let this podcast go down another four months of that. Here is what we are doing now. Not talking. about professional funny man that's number one number one we're not gonna be number two is what the fuck did you just play tom that's great sorry you got a problem with that not professional it wasn't loud enough
Starting point is 00:17:50 the first time and the second time it was too loud now can you can you can you can you we'd love to hear it in that sweet middle ground just right beautiful level thank you so much goldilocks very professional would you say? Incredibly so. Now, here's what we're going to do. We're going to go back to the club, right? We're going to be in the club.
Starting point is 00:18:15 At the club, there's going to be someone wearing a fin trying to get in, right? Are we in the club or are we out the club? We're in the, start in the club. The club is comprises inside and outside at the club. Okay. It's a scene at the club. We're dancing. At the club.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Outside, there's someone wearing a fin. They're trying to get in. They're being mistaken for a. Kill a whale. Kill a whale, okay. Then. Orca. An orca.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Now, in this club, there are multiple rooms. One is where there is a German DJ playing, hits, the people singing about, they love it. Then there's a street fighter room, which is where some street fighter characters are dancing to the same music. Then there's a street, street fighter room. Room that made look like a street with people fighting. Is there a fisting room? There can be.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Okay. That's just called the toilet. Is that fair? Sure. And we're going to start that now. Is there also a toilet? Yes. There's two toilets.
Starting point is 00:19:21 But where are we going? What do you mean? Where are we going? I'll be the guard. No, no, no. Where are we going? We're at the club. Now?
Starting point is 00:19:36 We're at the club. and I'm the guard. Usually when people pose a question, right? It's because they're seeking an answer. I just thought, I had an existential thing. Yeah, yeah. Where are we going? Where are we going?
Starting point is 00:19:51 Where are we going? Yes. Okay, yeah. We're hurtling through space. Yeah. Yeah. It's crazy when you think about it. In your opinion.
Starting point is 00:20:01 In my opinion. Could be on the back of a turtle. We're on the back of a turtle, in my opinion. Now listen. Let's start this again. So that's the scene. Who are we playing? You can play whoever you want.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Who's playing the killer whale? You. I'm playing the guard. And the guard. You're playing both. Because that's the twist ending. Zach. All right.
Starting point is 00:20:25 Now I'm sorry to have given that away. This is the biggest challenge of my life? Yeah, I think I can deliver. Great. Broden, are you comfortable? Yeah. Great. Tom, take us to the club.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Yeah. Welcome to the club. I'm the guard with this club, but you're not getting in unless you're the sexiest goddamn person in all of Berlin. All black, tight, harnesses, sexy. What are you wearing? What are you wearing? Me?
Starting point is 00:20:56 Yeah. I'm just wearing my ass slim gyms. Get out of here, you're not welcome. God damn it. What are you wearing? Oh, just a terra cash suit? Get out of here. Neither of you are welcome in my...
Starting point is 00:21:07 my club because I get to pick who comes in and who doesn't. Hello. Hello, what are you wearing? Oh, I'm just wearing some Gazmen. Get out. You're not welcome in my club. Hello. What are you wearing?
Starting point is 00:21:18 I'm wearing Supray. Get out, not welcome in my club. Hello. Hello, what are you wearing? I'm wearing JJ's a shirt that says, can I interest you in a nice warm cup and shut the fuck up? See, I don't like that, but are these two people with you? These two?
Starting point is 00:21:36 Yeah. because I like what they're wearing I'm wearing Louis Vuitton and I get out I'm wearing I'm wearing Lulu lemon can someone come with some fins I'm playing the person
Starting point is 00:21:52 I'm playing one of the people with fins I imagine a lot of people try to get it with me Hi This is me and my two friends Oh yeah I love what they're wearing harnesses They're wearing little black shorts What I think they're wearing
Starting point is 00:22:04 Gatsmane I don't care where you've got I thought it looks good. Thank you. It's a little harness and everything. Would you like us to turn around for you? Sure, turn around for me. Look at our back.
Starting point is 00:22:13 Holy shit. This motherfucker is a whale or a seal or something. You see this is a fucking fit on the back on his back? Yeah. This is my motherfucker is sort of like a whale or a seal or some shit. We've got to get him in the water really quick. Cut to, come back. I just worry about.
Starting point is 00:22:35 We don't know. I don't have any pool in the club or anything, you know? I don't need a pool. I'm just wearing a feeling. Holy shit. Can you help me with this? Excuse me to come in here? Hello.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Hi, I don't care. What are you wearing? I'm wearing a nice shirt from Peter Jackson. Oh. Oh! Here's the deal. I'll let you in the club if you help me get this whale or dolphin or whatever fuck is into water or something. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:03 Thank you. All right. So I pull up with my truck. truck. Don't even miss a street fighter. They don't miss a street fighter. Klaus. Don't miss the street fighter.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Klaus, we've got another big we've got another big whale type situation. Can I get you to look at the door? Look after the door. We're going to take this one to the nearest body of water. Come on, get into the truck. But shouldn't you get in the truck? What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:23:36 who's wearing the fin No The zombie That's later Get in the truck I'm in the truck Yeah I'm in the
Starting point is 00:23:47 Racing hard Racing to the lagoon Racing to the lagoon With the whale Oh at the lagoon There's a street near it There's a fight up And then on the street
Starting point is 00:23:59 It's the old Master The seller of knick-knacks He's fighting again It's the It's the old fight. It's the old fight. Redone. Oh no, it's spilling out to the lagoon again. We're racing to the water. This person's wearing a fin. Gotta put them in to see if they're a whale or not. I think that's what's happening. Just googling their clouds is the good. I do it a Google on my phone for the cloud.
Starting point is 00:24:36 The closest lagoon to Berlin. It's the closest lagoon to the city of Berlin. It's a place called Mysterious Lagoon. It's a fake lagoon, a tourist place. I worry that chlorine will not be good for him. No, find the next closest lagoon. Can I just take him to the ocean? Germany can yes, take him to maybe one of the beaches that the Americans landed on.
Starting point is 00:25:14 Monty Day. This is the part of Free Willy. Normandy. And the old master's fighting. History repeating. I'll just stop it there. So let's catch everyone up. It blended together really well.
Starting point is 00:25:30 So. Especially with a lesson about history repeating. Thank you for trusting me. My God. It works. It fucking works. It fucking works, Broden. 30 minutes of.
Starting point is 00:25:44 Street Fighter fucking works. Explain it. So, Street Fighters happening. Street Fighter in this world is real. In this real world, the plight of Free Willy was a raver, had a fin on their back, got mistaken for a while,
Starting point is 00:26:02 got taken to a lagoon. The old master, who sold knick-knacks, who used to fight years ago, was repeating their old fight to see if they still had it, they do. The fight spilled out to the lagoon at the same time that the fin wearing raver was taken to the lagoon and drowned to see if they were a whale. History repeating itself in both facets of the free willy film and the street fighting world that we created and the club is still rocking this whole time. It works as a podcast concept. Should we jump back in? Yes, like a four-hour drive
Starting point is 00:26:43 To the ocean Yeah The German club guy Has transcended to the outer world Hey I'm here now Dude It works What works
Starting point is 00:26:52 The street fighter free world So I was googling how to get to The ocean from Berlin Quick back in Let's get my little whale friend To the ocean Let's all go
Starting point is 00:27:03 It's a lagoon No we decided not to go to the lagoon Because it was just a tourist base Why did the chlorine What hurts the whale Ah So here's how it goes We're taking a friend
Starting point is 00:27:15 To the beach in Deutscheland Yeah Gonna take that fish friend And put him in the water Where the Germans Fought the Americans And her took massive losses In the north of Deutschland
Starting point is 00:27:27 Which was a beach fight Beach fight Beach fight Street fight Beach fight Street fights used to happen on the beach Is there going on about Is beach fight or street fight
Starting point is 00:27:42 All I care is about saving this thing in the back of my truck I think he's a whale or maybe a seal or something like that because he's got a fin on his back I'm going to take him to the ocean and push him under The street fight, beach fight Street fight, beach fight, street fight A beach fight is a street fight but it takes place on a beach fight I'm the guy from earlier
Starting point is 00:28:13 I thought I'd retired Had a shop of knick knacks I'm standing at the beach Ready for my beach ride Owen I might die But the ghosts of the past Of all the fallen boys in World War II
Starting point is 00:28:33 Five six seven eight The World War II boys Now they know kung fu They're World War II Ghost boys who fight with Kung Fu Watch out, old knick-knack man! Thousands of boys want to fight you with their hands. And I reach into my back, take off my jacket and what do I see?
Starting point is 00:28:59 I see on my back attached to my shirt. It's an artificial fin. But I am a man. How does that mean? I've been drowning. We're the fallen boys from the beaches of World War II. We've been training in Kung Fu. The music's fading out.
Starting point is 00:29:33 As the ghosts fade away. We just check in. We don't check in if the concept still works. I think it's working great. It's the music. So what's just happened? Stop the fucking good. Stop the music.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Stop the music. That's the next bit. Call of... Oh. So the next bit, it's very exciting. Just a little update for everyone. listening. Please, no, please.
Starting point is 00:29:56 A little update for everyone listening. The guard has just discovered the fin on his back. It's made him realize that the guard. So the guard in the truck. That was the twist you wanted. No, there was two twists happening concurrently. I'm sorry, I mistook it. I thought it was the old knick-knack master who had a fin.
Starting point is 00:30:15 No, no, no. So the old knick-knack, I was playing too. Is I alone in that? I haven't understood anything. That's why I'm explaining it. Apart from the World War II boys. coming back and knowing kung fu so we'll get to that they've been training for years were they zombies or ghosts or they ghost world war two soldier ghosts sort of like um lord of the rings
Starting point is 00:30:33 lord of the rings lord of the rings three ghosts i imagine green but they know kung fu oh yeah they they know kung yeah they know kung so here's what's happening there is a truck hurtling towards the nearest ocean about four hours from berlin in that truck is a wet man wearing gasman who's been promised entry into the burghine despite his bad clothes by a guard In the back of the truck is a man who was wearing a fin. That guard was about to drown him, thinking he was a whale or a seal or something. The guard in this very moment has taken off his jacket, realized that on the back of his shirt is an artificial fin,
Starting point is 00:31:07 making him see that perhaps just because someone has a fin doesn't mean they're a whale. He's realized he's a killer. He's having a mental episode. Meanwhile, at the beach. Yes. Yes. Is my other character. Yes.
Starting point is 00:31:19 We'll get to him. Is my other character, the man who was selling knick-knacks only, to be revealed to be the greatest fighter that ever there was. Yes. He's returned to fighting. Jamry or something. Jamry. But who is he fighting?
Starting point is 00:31:31 He's fighting. The ghosts of the fallen boys in World War II who know now Kung Fu. Who now know Kung Fu. How did they learn Kung Fu? Through the... From the ability to travel back into any time and into the future. Because who taught them Kung Fu? Well, we're about to find out.
Starting point is 00:31:50 We're about to find out. But they're all wearing dressing gowns. Okay. Is that important? Yeah, because it was like... Where are they from? Let's just say, what do you mean? We can't see their backs.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Where are the dressing gowns from? They're from Peter Alexander. They can be from Peter Alexander. They're from Peter Alexander. Oh, the pyjama shop. The expensive pyjama shop. Yeah, well, they go. So they can...
Starting point is 00:32:11 That doesn't mean they can have taste. There's little doggies on the little pictures. But they mistook, because they only spent a short time in the past, learning from Conquivom Masters, they mistook the robes of... of a kung fu man for a dressing out. Isn't it a fuck there's a fucking pyjama shop? But they also went to the future mark
Starting point is 00:32:30 because we're about to find out who trained them. Yeah, well, can we just drill down on this pajama shop? Like, can we incorporate it into... I just want to ask the question first. I need to know where you guys sit on. Isn't it kind of a capitalist crazy thing? There is a shop that sells expensive pajamas. I think...
Starting point is 00:32:45 Do you know what? I think a man saw a gap in the market and he filled it. Now, will we ever know what the name of that man is? We'll never know his name. we'll never know we'll never know the name of that man but uh
Starting point is 00:32:57 but a man not Peter not Peter Alexander no that's the name of the shop yeah so a man saw the gap and he said I'm going to open a store called Peter Alexander yeah
Starting point is 00:33:08 shall we get back into it this is the final we're on the beaches of Deutschland the war waging between the trinket jamry
Starting point is 00:33:21 and soldiers from World War II who fight Kung Fu in dressing gowns. Take it away. I'll start as January. Wow, I can't believe it's all come to this. But there's only one group of people that could defeat me. A group of mysterious soldier ghosts that traveled to the future a few years ago. And the past.
Starting point is 00:33:42 To me, my past, their future. Yes. They had just been in the past training under the greatest Kungu masters, but they needed one final teacher. I taught them that day, not knowing what they would use their powers for, but I've always regretted it. They are the only people that could defeat me. I wonder who I'm going to fight today. And they all form together.
Starting point is 00:34:05 They bind together these ghosts into one giant, dead soldier ghost to ghost ghost Kung Fu. And I, very respectfully, call my knick-knacks, which fly from my store. all the way to hear. And the soldier boy starts shooting kung fu lasers from out there. Eyes trying to destroy it. It's the biggest street fight ever. But it's too late because the knickknacks form around me like transformer style. And then I grow and I am controlling a giant knick-knack, Maca-Soo.
Starting point is 00:34:43 Big enough to take on this giant thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, but what's that in the distance? Oh, a whale. You can't beat me, knick-knack man, you're a robot man, you can't beat me, man. I'm the ghosts of 10,000 fallen soldiers, we know Kung Fu, and we're going to kill you. When I trained these soldiers from Berlin, when I trained them good in Kung Fu, I knew that they would one day defeat me, I knew they would be my end.
Starting point is 00:35:18 I'm prepared for that, I'm prepared to die. I'm prepared to go, but not before I kill you. I call on the power of morphine and rations. Yeah. He's growing even bigger. What I need now is a whole bunch of ghosts with... But the only way they'll attach to my mecca suit is if they have fins on their back. I hope that a man has drowned many, many people out here but with fins on their back.
Starting point is 00:35:52 that will make no difference to me as I take the moon in my hands and I change the tides and wash them away I lift the moon up and down to make waves
Starting point is 00:36:04 Okay, you win And that is how the That's the end of the movie I think it was a movie That's how the So the soldier boys formed together They took morphine and rations To grow to the size
Starting point is 00:36:25 where they could grab the moon and then move the moon up and down to create waves to wash the fin the drowned thin men who would have formed the becker suit that could have allowed him to beat them yeah
Starting point is 00:36:40 so the villains don't really win because I guess the fallen soldiers are kind of the no it's made up it's a mix of allies and Nazis but also the people the soldiers the soldiers who are put on on the beach, those beaches were
Starting point is 00:36:57 often Austrian or like Polish soldiers who were forced to go there. A lot of soldiers who didn't want to be there. I can't imagine anyone was like fuck yeah. Yeah, I mean there would have been hardcore like the hardcore Berlin SS dudes.
Starting point is 00:37:16 Yeah, yeah, yeah. They were like they were having strudel. They were having strudel with, you know, with, you know. Well, that was 30 minutes of street fighter. What have we got left, Tom? So we have three more left. So we have Lucy decides.
Starting point is 00:37:31 30 minutes of straight fire and purple pebble people. Well, purple, pebble, pebble, I can't. I can't wait to see what everyone voted for. Yeah, what you decide. How many did we do? Eight. We've done eight.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Yeah, but we've done five. And I know, I think we've checked with, if anyone wants to draw out and sort of write out the plot of this, episode into like a beat sheet a really clear beat sheet with all of the characters and everything just a nice clear document that then we can go write the screenplay from
Starting point is 00:38:06 we will send you $10 we might send you $10 I worry that there might be a bit of an obsession situation there because when the move I've not seen an obsession well no what happened is because it was so low budget now people are being funny because my worry is if they do that the art department and we own the all right
Starting point is 00:38:23 we'll send you $10 and we'll give you 1% equity because I'm confident that this is the next billion dollars. Well, that's actually a great point, is if we turn this into a movie and you send us the beat sheet, you can have 50% of the revenue. No, no, one percent. One percent. Is the street fighter IP tied up with any other large companies?
Starting point is 00:38:45 We can change that. We can. All right, great. I feel pretty confident we can change. Honda Civic. What is it? Oh, the Honda. Actually, Honda Civic cut that guys.
Starting point is 00:38:58 We don't want the, we can't work with that. No, but. No. What are we going to do? It's a little bit of, it's a little money, way to get a bit of cash, a little spawncon. We could pitch it to Hyundai. Apple. Capcom.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Guys. Capcom. I have had such a pleasure recording with you all. I'm not taking your hand. Go on. No, you'll dislocate my shoulder or at least strike. too. Okay. That's fair. That was my plan. Look, 30 minutes of street fire, street fighter, 30 minutes of street fire didn't work. 30 minutes of street fighter worked pretty fucking good.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Your command of story structure really got us through. Thank you so much. I've been studying stuff. And if you have a... Before that, I wasn't done. I'm done now. Oh, you've been studying stuff for that. Go on. If you have a definitive answer for me on whether Peter Alexander is still a profitable franchise business, reach out. He sold it. And is it still running? Because I'm just thinking there used to be one of Ligon Street.
Starting point is 00:40:08 I don't know if it's still there. It's still about being a little sexy when you go to bed, right? Yeah, it's just... Or cute. I feel like you take anything and you go, this is a boogie version of it. Yeah, but who's buying expensive pyjamas? I can't. I can't.
Starting point is 00:40:20 I can't. In this economy, in this economy. Second or third date, you know, maybe having someone over for the first time. You want to be a little sexy, a little cute when you're wearing pajamas. You know what I mean? You seem to know a lot about this. Get yourself a little. I shop a bit Alexander.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Get yourself a little. You don't shop a Johnny big. Booge your boy. Get yourself a bath bomb. Get yourself some Peter Alexander. This weekend is for me. Yeah. I'm going to put on nice pajamas.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Yeah. Look, I would be lying if I'm in. say I went to Pete Alexander once to try and get myself some boozy PJs, but I thought they were all ugly as fuck. Yeah, they weren't for me. So I didn't. And I was like, not even, I don't even want to sleep into a weird category of like, I've definitely looked at like, I think, yeah, silky PJs. Like, that's, if I were to do PJs, I'd want to go full. I love the idea of a nice, you know, soft cotton. Not me, I sleep nude on a silk bed, waiting for Batman to come through the, window.
Starting point is 00:41:23 He's doing Nicole Kidman. Oh, yes. Yeah. Batman and Robin? No, Batman forever. Nicole Kidman. Um, okay, great.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Really good stuff. I think this is the... What a fizzle outs. I gotta say, what a fizzle outs. Generational run last batch. Last batch of podcasts. No, they weren't.
Starting point is 00:41:45 That's why we fired you. And then, so this is supposed to be a generation. This is what? And if it's not. were in trouble. This is, because did you promise a generational run?
Starting point is 00:41:57 I didn't promise it, but I would, after the last one, I think they'd be expecting at least a run. Or the runs. Or the runs. Because this podcast can give you dying.
Starting point is 00:42:06 What is a run if not fizzling out? Chicken run. What is a, chicken run. There you go. Smart ass. What is a fizzle out if not a run living on? What is a,
Starting point is 00:42:19 what is a, what is a, what is a fizzling out if not a run And not all fizzle out to bad, barocca. Oh, I could smash a baroque. But that fizzles up. They still fizzles out. It's fizzling out.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Yeah, I mean, is all fizzle not an out? Do all fizzles not go out? We should also, I'll read out today's sponsor, sorry? Yeah, yeah, go. Today's episode is brought to you by Peter Alexander. Oh, fuck. Get your pajamas for this autumn season and look cool in bed. Tom, can you pull up?
Starting point is 00:42:52 karaoke song? Yeah, what song would you like? Just anything. Something Peter Alexandery. Okay. You know what I mean by that? Yeah. What about that one from...
Starting point is 00:43:05 Beautiful. What's this one? I googled best karaoke songs of all time, and it came up with Taylor Swift. That makes me think of wagon wheel by Darius Rucker. Let's do Taylor Swift. And that makes me think of wagon wheel by Arnets. Do Taylor Swift. Should we go and get some wagon wheel?
Starting point is 00:43:21 Bad blind. Let's do Taylor Swift, bad blood. Okay. Do we have to? I mean, we're 46. Yeah, do we have to? No, it's a bit of been a long one already. This one has a guide melody for you there, Mark.
Starting point is 00:43:34 What? This has a guide melody. Oh, that's good for me. Why was that pointed at me? Because you've probably never listened to the song before. I'm familiar with the album, 1989. This is the guide melody. Hey!
