Starting point is 00:00:00 This is a Grousehouse podcast. Welcome to 30 minutes of street fire. Last week we were very cold and our beautiful audience saw that and I think you felt bad for us. So when you voted out of all the options of what this episode would be about, I can see that you chose 30 minutes of street fire. Now obviously we wait the results as we said at the end of last week. So maybe wherever you voted, you saw a different result, but we have to then put it through a few. We're going through a lot of data.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Data and we need to wait it against different things. Where you voted counts. Who voted counts? The platform you voted on counts. And what we found after going through the data is the episode you wanted was 30 minutes of street fire. And it is burning hot on this street. We were cold. We were cold.
Starting point is 00:01:03 We were cold Because as you know It's the future now The moon has exploded Yep Everything's frozen Except for two islands But now
Starting point is 00:01:14 Because because the sun came out And Broden sang that song The ice melted All the tropical islands are back There's no longer just two Mark's still married to a polar bear Yeah but we're spending some time apart Oh I'm sorry I didn't know that
Starting point is 00:01:32 No, no, no, it's all right. It's just after the heat came, and she was just a bit much with the always going, always wanting to be, she's just always needed to be a polar bear. Why don't you go in couples therapy about that? Well, because what ended up happening was, we went on couples therapy,
Starting point is 00:01:52 tried to figure out a way that we could meet in the middle, which I was, you know, around 20 degrees, I thought would be kind of in the middle. And she ate the woman that does couples, She's awesome. Well, she was an awesome meal. And also, is she yellowing or going green? Don't polar bears go green when they're in the warm?
Starting point is 00:02:13 Don't lose their white color? I can ring my partner who works with animals and ask her. I think you're thinking of bananas before they turn yellow. No? That's why they say bananas and polar bears are polar opposite. Yes, because bananas start green and turn yellow, whereas polar bears start yellow and turn green. Green. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Well, it's now normal. Unless you mean green in the gills, because they get a little bit sick. Do you mean green in the gills? Just, can I... This is the 30 minutes of street fire. And it is burning hot. And it's a street fire?
Starting point is 00:02:50 Well, there's fires on every street in the world right now. So not highways, not thoroughfares. Not roads. Not roads. But every street. not cul-de-sacs Just streets
Starting point is 00:03:08 Courts Uh Some courts The court is a cul-de-sac, yes? Am I wrong? Um, no No Not exactly Explain what the difference between a court and a cul-de-sac is right now
Starting point is 00:03:21 I used to live in a court So did I And the court I believe can end On like a flat you know a court can be a box The end Yeah it can end Whereas a cul-de-sac I believe
Starting point is 00:03:37 Goes all the way around So are you saying a cul-de-sac Is a court without the ability to turn around With that sort of like a court A court is a cul-a-sac Without the ability to turn around It doesn't have a court You can turn around
Starting point is 00:03:50 Yeah but you got to do a three-pointer No because they got the little They're shaped like a knob right Like a dick yeah Mine was shaped Like a I think a court Can be shaped in many different way where a cul-de-sac is shaped only but one way.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Round, like a roundabout. Zach, can you, what are your thoughts on this? So I was just texting Tom. The over there. Yeah, Tom over there. Yeah. But your thoughts on the court cul-de-sac? Well, let me tell you those thoughts.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Ring-ring, ring, ring. Hello? Wait, as he lined it up. Yeah, ring, ring, ring. So we've got our, sorry, Mark, to interrupt the court-couldersack chat. We've got our first caller. Hello, you're on the air. Hello.
Starting point is 00:04:31 I'm coming to you, even though it's hot where you are. Who is this? It's me, Zach. Yep. Zach? I'm coming to you from Cold Antarctica. So welcome, everyone. You're listening to 30 minutes of street fire.
Starting point is 00:04:44 And we got our first call. It's Zach from the cold. Now, it must be very hot there at the street fire. Is this the music? Will something come in? Oh. See, patience as a virtue. I'm in the cold.
Starting point is 00:04:57 And what do you want to call in today about? I'm in the cold of entities. Are you in Antarctica or are you on an island? I'm on a cold island in Antarctica. In Antarctica. You sure? There's no streets here and thus no fire. Where we are, there's streets on, there's fire on every street.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I'm in the last cold place on planet Earth. And I'm here to accuse you of crimes that you committed. What crimes? The Frozen Apocalypse. Wow, this is high concept podcasting, folks. Yeah. Go tell us what you charge us with. I charge you with the crime.
Starting point is 00:05:43 I've done nothing but fight for my people. What is it you claim of me? You have betrayed me. You and your friend, Mark. Mark, hang up the phone. That was freaking me out. Yeah, man. That started to turn into a rock opera.
Starting point is 00:06:00 like a laymise style kind of I did not like that he was charging me with a crime so I saw I had to hang up well look we have bigger fish to fry and we could fry fish We're getting our first caller
Starting point is 00:06:12 Oh hello I've called you again Oh no it's like To accuse you of the crime What crime could you charge we will The crime of betrayal The crime of evil It's your fault
Starting point is 00:06:36 That the earth went frozen And it's your fault That all the streets are on fire too Very well Hang up Hang up, hang up Fuck, I don't like that Look man
Starting point is 00:06:53 You keep playing into this rock opera thing Which is kind of stressing me out Because you said you don't want to do it For a rock opera I love it And like I got these buckets I got this tap here We could solve this street fire Right now if you want it
Starting point is 00:07:11 Where'd you get the water Where from? Oh the ice I guess Yeah well the ice melted So the taps are back Ring ring ring ring They come in Oh stop picking up
Starting point is 00:07:21 I'm calling you To accuse you of a crime I'm calling you Sorry I'm gonna hang up on the phone Yeah yeah yeah You notice this rock opera Yeah Doesn't move the plot forward
Starting point is 00:07:35 Yeah just keeps saying he's going to accuse you of a crime. Yeah. The crime hasn't been spoken on. Well, he did say, he did say, he did say that we caused the Ice Age.
Starting point is 00:07:45 That was dropped. So why are you ignoring that? Broden. My plot is the goal, I've done nothing wrong. I've done nothing. Yeah, that's your plot,
Starting point is 00:07:55 but is that your truth? Because I'm standing here. I spent years of my life frozen with a polar bear wife. Excuse me, we've got a caller. Knock, knock, knock. Oh, it's a lot.
Starting point is 00:08:05 Hello, you're on the air. I'm the police, the police around here. I'm gonna arrest you all if you committed the crime. You'll go to prison. It's made of ice, but somehow we keep it frozen all of the time. Here's the ICE police, ice police, they round up the immigrants, the ICE police. They are awful people The ICE Police
Starting point is 00:08:44 Now you're a little bit confused My Waywood son I'm a policeman The Ice Police Who uses ice Not the acronym but the word Oh my mistake He's not an ice policeman
Starting point is 00:09:03 Here from America I just use Ice guns and ice prison. You don't! It's going to close the door. Now... Oh, so hot. It's fucking so hot out here.
Starting point is 00:09:21 It's the fire. You're singing your fucking guts out. I'm here. All the streets are on fire. I got this bucket of water. Can we at least just try and put out one street fire before the end of this episode? All the street fire is warm in my... X my, you know
Starting point is 00:09:38 You're what? What are the bits that are furthest from the middle? Dick Maybe for you. I think he's right. Not me, I got a tiny little dick. Because of the cold? Yeah, it's all shriveled up from the cold.
Starting point is 00:09:50 The street fires have loosened the dick me. So I'm going to be couples therapy. Do you see what he's saying? Oh, I'm in the polar bear right now. I do hear that. Okay, after the break. Hear that.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Do you hear what he's saying, Mark, about his shriveled dick? Yeah, it's because of the cold. Yeah. We spent a lot of time in the ice. So bear that, bear that. They're the bear. I'm the bear.
Starting point is 00:10:09 I shouldn't have to bear that. Oh, polar bear that. Yeah, polar bear that. Bear that truth. Okay. So what do you want to say to him? I'm going to say, stop taking bites out of me at night. I'll tell you what I want to say to you.
Starting point is 00:10:21 You keep eating me at night. Nibbling at my, I don't. I'm sorry that I've been nibbling at you. I'm a polar bear. That's who I. I know I just thought when we married you'd want to eat fish I thought when we'd married you'd eat a turtle I didn't think he'd take bites out of me when I was sleeping in the igloo that I built for you and me I'm on a
Starting point is 00:10:59 girl neck from couples therapy and I'm gonna fix your relationship. Careful. Honor. Her fangs are pleasant. She's gonna eat you. It's okay. I'm a psychologist for couples on
Starting point is 00:11:18 television. I'll let you speak your truth and help your relationship. You don't know her like me. She craves for human flesh. She'll eat your meat. She'll strip it from the bone. I need my fish. My fish.
Starting point is 00:11:40 I'm not fish. I know. I taste like pork from what I'm told. The dragon in the night shield reeled as rails, and the dragons, demons, and they slay in the night. The devil! The devil is here! Knighthood and armor who would slay the dragon
Starting point is 00:12:09 atop of the legion of doom and righteousness. It's not a very good good... psychologist, you always go on by dragons and knights and swords. I need my fish. I need my fish. I need my fish. Devil's in the night. That was a clip from the new musical, the Dio Musical Couples Therapy,
Starting point is 00:12:52 which is coming to the Arts Center and the Playhouse this August. I'm joined by the cast of this touring production. Look, the cast were going to come in. I'm sorry. Turn that fire off, sorry. Welcome to this ABC. Sorry, Mark, go, please. I was going to say the cast, we're going to come in,
Starting point is 00:13:08 but every street is on fire. But we're at ABC Melbourne. Yeah, yeah. Those fires are outside. That's right, and we've moved to a cul-de-sack. And I'm joined by two of the performance from this touring production of couples therapy by Ronnie James Dio, Zach and Mark. Hello, thanks so much for having us.
Starting point is 00:13:26 So this is a wacky musical. It's opening this Thursday at the Arts Centre. Tickets are $180. And it's a rockin, rockin' rockin musical. In the Fairfax? Well, I've always been a fan of the musical. I remember I got my hands on a vinyl record of it. It had never been performed in Australia before,
Starting point is 00:13:48 other than a short run. There was a short run in Sydney with Marsha Hines. And as soon as I heard there was a new version on, I said I have to be a part of that. I also auditioned for every other musical. And this is the one I got and I'm so excited to be it. That's who you are. It's your identity now.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Were you in the Michael Jackson one? No, no. I, and I will say I'm very against it right now. But if I'd gotten in it, sure. Yeah, yeah. I'd be up in Brisbane right now. I'd be up in. So your opinion of the world is sort of defined by what show will pay you to be in it.
Starting point is 00:14:26 There's not a lot of words. Yeah, so what's your opinion on Michael Jackson? I prefer the Green Day musical. I don't know if you've seen it. What's your thoughts on Michael Jackson? Michael Jackson was a pedophile. Okay, but hey, you just got offered a role in the show. Well, I must take it.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Because his music was great and we don't really know. What is that? Sorry, now I'm in Michael Jackson. What do you think of him? Right now, I'm not in it. Yeah. I think he's a pedophile. Hey, you just got in it.
Starting point is 00:14:54 And what's your question? What do you think of my Jason? So it's so fun to just be a part of this amazing ensemble. We're singing songs. We're having fun. And that music, I mean, everyone's up and dancing. You can't deny the energy that's... Well, that's great.
Starting point is 00:15:10 So tell me about the Ronnie James musical... Ronnie James Dio musical Couples Therapy. So it's a very wacky story. I think they were maybe... I mean, they were probably having a bit of fun at the time when they wrote it. What's a historical musical? And it's, so it's set in the future. Basically, it emerges slowly, but it's basically about a couple.
Starting point is 00:15:33 One of them is a sketch comedian named Mark and who Mark plays. I play myself. And then I, well, that's what we say. They've got the same name. Yeah. And then I play. I was in character. I play the polar bear.
Starting point is 00:15:49 And polar bear is the lover of Mark. And they're going to couple's therapy. But it's set in a future where there was an ice age. And then all the ice froze and now all the streets are on fire. The moon exploded and all the woods exploded as well. The moon exploded. Right. And what emerges is the couples therapist who has two identities.
Starting point is 00:16:14 The couples therapist who is both Orna. Orna and Broden. Yeah. When the couples therapist was Broden and it sort of flips around, his friend Zach, who lives in Antarctica, of the last cold place on the earth knows a secret and that secret is
Starting point is 00:16:31 I don't want to give it away but let's just say the reason the earth froze and the reason it's now all the streets are on fire has something to do with Broden and it's a very exciting show very strange I can see why it didn't make it
Starting point is 00:16:47 that big 28 minutes past the hour you're on ABC Melbourne with me big spoofy and I'm talking with Two of the stars of the new musical Come to Melbourne, couples therapy written by Ronnie James Dio and here with Mark and Zach.
Starting point is 00:17:03 I want to know from you guys, it's a fascinating plot for a show considering couples therapy that's series. It's based on that series. Well, the musical's from the 70s. Yeah, so how. And Ronnie James Dio has been dead for like 20 years. It's a wild story.
Starting point is 00:17:17 That's almost a musical within itself. And it is a musical. Yeah. It's currently they've just done a few. That's why I said almost because it is. But it hasn't made it. That is almost. But it is almost because it's in development.
Starting point is 00:17:30 And that show is written with the music by Paul Simon. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's a jigsbox musical using the music of Paul Simon, but telling the story of this Ronnie writer traveling through time, but only being in today's time for half an hour. So just catching one episode of a show, Brodon's also seed,
Starting point is 00:17:50 going back in time. Can I just jump in? It doesn't sound very good. But it's the music of Paul Simon, so you're dancing. Simon and Garfunkel as well. We get him up dancing. The plot doesn't make a lot of sense. No.
Starting point is 00:18:05 But that's those 70s, 60s, you've got hair. You've got different musicals from that era. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, like Garfield Funkel. Yeah. That musical. Where they tell the story of Garfunkel through Garfield Comic Street. And then unfortunately, they couldn't get the rights to the Simon.
Starting point is 00:18:25 So the Paul Simon music is used in this strange time travelling. What's that? What's that musical? Well, they've changed the title twice now. It's just in development. Yeah. But the current title, I believe, is, I believe is time traveling Broadway songwriter. The music of Paul Simon.
Starting point is 00:18:48 Well, let's hear a clip from that. This is one of the title cuts. Yeah. And ABC Melbourne. Ooh, it's cold. Man walks down the street, he says, Why am I soft in the middle? Why am I soft in the middle?
Starting point is 00:19:07 And the rest of my life is so hot. I need to make the music. In my nose and my nose in it, bone, bone. Jumped down the alley with some rolling pole. You stopped the music. That's not, you played the wrong track. You played the wrong track. Accidents and accidents.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Let me get the course. I don't find this thing amusing. in any more sing along if you'll be my bodyguard I can be a long lost friend I can call you Betty Betty when you want you can call me out I don't know the words
Starting point is 00:19:44 So that scene obviously that scene happens when he gets a bodyguard Because the CIA is trying to get his time Traveling technology That was good This is a little bit This is a little song This is me and Julio
Starting point is 00:19:59 And maybe did you want me to perform a little bit of the scene, maybe we can perform a little bit of the scene. You've been on ABC for far too long. But I could just do a little bit of the scene and the song for you. Yep, sure. Sure. All right. So, um, but I do have to go to the weather. Okay, go to the weather. When we come back from the weather, I'm going to do the performance. Actually, let's go with sound of silence. The sound of silence. Oh, yeah, the sound of silence. Or bridge over troubled water. Is this from Garfield Funkle or is this from? This is from, um, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the of the time traveling Broadway songwriter
Starting point is 00:20:33 featuring the music of Paul Simon. They're sitting here with two of the performers from couples therapy on ABC Melbourne, and we're just going to throw now to James the Bureau of Meteorology. Oh, no, go to the James Buehore of Meteorology. Well, well, well, well, welcome to the weather. Go Santa's silence, so.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Streets are hot. Still, the streets are hot. And they are rising the Earth's temperature. And we're looking at a lot of street fires, at least the next 30 minutes. Well, thanks for that. You'd be mistaken. It's amazing how prescient...
Starting point is 00:21:08 Not yet. I've got to do the scene first. It's amazing how prescient couples therapy was. We usually get them for Christmas. Oh, yes, very good. Because a lot of people... When we were in rehearsals for couples therapy... When we were in rehearsals for couples therapy,
Starting point is 00:21:24 we kept saying, this is crazy. He was talking about street fires all across the world. We can't forget about the street fires. It's really important. But we're going to live our life. We do have to live our life. This is the new normal. Wash your hands.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Yes. 10% of all profits from this show are going towards starting as many street fires as possible. Oh, your four street fires. Oh, yeah, big time. Why? We believe it will keep the ice at bay. Yeah. Like an ice is the bad devil.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Well, ice sends us into years of pain. helps get rid of the riff raff as well. Shall we do the scene now? Please, and you're on ABC Melbourne. Here's a scene from some fucking Garfunkel. No, no, no, it's not Garfield Funkle. This is from the time-traveling, the time-travelling story. This is from the songwriter.
Starting point is 00:22:15 This is about how the couple's therapy musical was written. And here is the musical song. I don't know. With the CIA. The scene from it. I don't know. With the CIA after me trying to get my, trying to get my time-traveling technology.
Starting point is 00:22:31 I don't know if I'll ever have time to write the musical, Mama. Well, there's one thing we could do, and I know it's scary, child, but why don't we use your time-travelling technology to travel back to a time or forward, to a time where you have all the time you need to write the musical? No, I think I'm good with just that half hour of travel I did to see couples therapy.
Starting point is 00:22:53 What? So I did half an hour of time traveling. I saw the show. Apple's therapy. Oh. I'm going to write a musical about that. Yeah, whatever.
Starting point is 00:23:01 But that's a good solution because I don't have time to write. Don't try and pan to me now. No, you've already decided what you're going to do. And that's fine. No, I just, I just think that. I want you out of my house.
Starting point is 00:23:14 Oh, my God. You've been living here for 38 years. But Mama, the rent is so expensive in New York where I live writing Broadway songs. What are you going to do? Sing about it? No, I can't sing about it. because you've silenced me.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Have I? Yes. I wonder what that sounds like. Well, the only sound you're going to hear from me is this. Well, why don't you sing about it? And now you're kicking me out onto the dark street. Get out of my house. Unto the dark street.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Stay in silence. I'd love to know what that sounds like. Get back there in the darkness. Who are you? Now, here I am. Who are you? Papa. You want me to go out into the dark street?
Starting point is 00:23:53 Get away from all these lights. The fuck out of my house. Whatever words could I say to. the dark streets. What sounds could I make? What did you sing about it? Only the silence. Oh, here I am on the dark street. I wonder what it sounds like. When does it come in?
Starting point is 00:24:11 Hello darkness, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again. DJ Caled! Because of vision softly creepy. The cold. Because of the night I was sleeping. Two islands left. And the vision that was found in my brain.
Starting point is 00:24:35 The moon and all books gone. So, remains. In the sound of silence. Oh, look, my lyricist. And the timid timid timid timid timid timidoo. And now streets of cobblestone. Igloos. Meet the halo of a street lamp.
Starting point is 00:24:57 A man and his polar bear. I turn my collar to the cold a deep. Trying to figure stuff. The streets are on fire. The streets are on fire. This sounds of silence. This would make a good musical. And in the naked, and in the naked like I saw.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Don't have to do the whole song. 10,000 people may be more. People talk to people. People, they're friends. And now for another scene from the show. What's this one? This is from the... This is from couples therapy.
Starting point is 00:25:45 The couple's therapy. I want to know. He wants to know. I want to know. What do you want to know? What do you want to know? I want to know. I want to know.
Starting point is 00:25:58 What you want to know. Want to know. What do you want to know? To say what you want to know. Dragon. No. How's your age? What?
Starting point is 00:26:12 What age are you dragon? What are you saying? You're always asking about dragons. What? What? Enough about a dynamic as a man and a polar bear. Dragon. Fuck your dragons.
Starting point is 00:26:30 with my sword and my blades are on fire and you sing of dragons do not care that my limbs are taken by my wife but all you watch is shaman you say I won't give me some fish you spat your love for yourself I'm celebrating at the mouth dragon if you give me some fish I won't issues as a couple could you take a to a local fish monger. My name is Orna Karelnik and I'm the dragon slayer. Freeze.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Hi, this is Mark Broan and Zach from Auntie Donner. This was a short moralistic play about what happens when the woke left to take over the ABC. This is what happens. This is what happens. You get musicals, rock musicals. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:28:08 About a polar bear who just wants to eat some fish and because no one's buying him any food. she starts eating Mark piece by piece. And the streets being on fire, much like when the moon exploded, seemingly didn't have a lot of effect. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:24 And that is what, that is, that is the goal. That is the plan of the woke left. Do you understand that if you keep engaging with the woke left, your favorite comedian Mark might get eaten piece by piece because he refuses to buy fish for his volleyball. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:38 And they won't stop until every street is on fire. And no one. one really does anything about it. And then do you want to live in a world where there's a Ronnie James Dio musical about couples therapy? Do you? That was written in the past. Fuckheads?
Starting point is 00:28:55 And then there's another musical about the time-traveling antics set to the music of Paul Simon? I'll tell you who wouldn't write this musical, Kill Tonys. Kill Tonys would never dream of writing this kind of musical because they're too busy, busting people's chops and busting people's balls about how they're doing with their stand-up in front of a crowd.
Starting point is 00:29:18 I get so worried. I mean, I get so worried. I look at the state of the world. You should be! I look at the state of the world, elbow. And I go, I worry, I worry because,
Starting point is 00:29:28 because I worry that we are slipping into a world where my favorite comedian Buck will get eaten piece by piece by his polar bear wine. It could happen. And that polar polar. their wife will eat in piece by piece, even though she just said, if you buy me some fish, I won't do it.
Starting point is 00:29:47 And I, and I'm glad that I think, like, it seems like Carl Stefanovic's woken up and he's going to help prevent Mark getting eaten piece by piece by polar bear. Because there's no fish. Well, they just don't know where the local fishmongers is. And it's crazy. And they wouldn't know because they can't. Mark tastes more like pork. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:07 She doesn't even want to eat pork. But she's hungry. And it's hard. It's hard. And you're not seeing it covered by the mainstream media. When was the last time? You saw the mainstream media covering the issue of Mark getting eaten piece by piece by my poll of it.
Starting point is 00:30:23 No, there's never, it's never covered. That's why they had to write a musical about it. And that's, and I worry sometimes that if Mark doesn't buy her fish soon, and why aren't you buying a fish? It's my question. Because they don't know where the fishmongers is.
Starting point is 00:30:36 And I'm sorry that we're getting political, but we've woken up. I saw my friend. I look, Every day I come to work. I see my friend Mark. There's another piece out of him. It's awful.
Starting point is 00:30:46 There's only so much he can take before he won't. Not snaps, but gets a divorce. Biaz off some fish for God's sake. I'm happy to kick in. Oh, and also, we haven't even started to talk about how the couple's therapy is not helping at all because there's so much talk about dragons. Well, I mean, also, doesn't even matter if she was keeping on topic. Cunch just needs to buy her fish.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Yeah. But how's a cunt going to do that? The cunt doesn't know the fishmongers is, Cunt. No, I just, I'm worried about you. Me? I come to work every day. Where are you busting my balls?
Starting point is 00:31:19 What is this? Kill Tony? No, I'm not busting your balls, man, like kill Tony. What I'm saying is I come to work every day and I see another piece bit out of you. Yeah. Because I know your wife, the polar bear's taking a little bite. That's why we're going to couple's therapy, try to sort it out. But can you at least let me bring around some fish?
Starting point is 00:31:37 Dude. I don't even have to come in. If you could just tell me where the fishmongers is, I'll go get the fucking fish myself. But no one will tell me. It's my thing. No one will tell me. If everyone comes to fish, everyone's going to be lines all the time.
Starting point is 00:31:48 I can't be telling everyone about it. Last time I told you about the fishmonger became the biggest fish seller in town. Even give me a seal. But Zach, why don't you tell us about your FIFA World Cup themed can of Coke? Oh yeah. It's pretty awesome. What colors are they? Now, as you know, the FIFA World Cup this year, I don't know when this is coming out.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Maybe it's over. but the FIFA World Cup is for the first time ever being done in three different countries. Can you name those three? The America's, I can, can you mark? No. Can you answer in jeopardy form? In jeopardy form.
Starting point is 00:32:23 What is Italy, America, and England? Correct. Really? How did you know that? Well, I just kind of thought of all the places soccer's... That is crazy. It's wrong. But that is great.
Starting point is 00:32:40 It's really good that you did that. But you were right with the middle one. So laser in on America. What? Laser in on America. What am I a death star? No, no, no, you're Mark. But laser in on America with the what.
Starting point is 00:32:56 I don't want to do this. Whatever this is. I don't want to do it. I don't want any part of it. For the first time in the world, it's being done in the US, Canada and El Mexico. Correct. Wow. and hot dogs, nachos and puteen.
Starting point is 00:33:13 Nice. The national dishes of all those places. Now, what, we can, can we end the podcast? Great. We can, but I don't think we should. Why? Unless we didn't, in which case we keep going. But that's your call.
Starting point is 00:33:38 So I'd like to keep going. And I'll tell you why, because you're my best friend. And you are a friend. And I just want to say to the two of you, I love you. And Mark, if you want to be my best friend, if you want to take the place from Broden, no, I'm right. Then you, then next, then we have to settle this with a vote. With a vote on the what podcast.
Starting point is 00:34:06 On what podcast we do next. And that's going to be our side quest for that podcast. The side quest is sort out our beef. Is how can Mark become. Zach's best friend. Will it be Broden lets him down, doesn't come to his party? Will it be Mark steps up, sends a thoughtful message in a hard time? Who knows?
Starting point is 00:34:27 Will I remember? Will any of us remember to do this next week? I don't know. You're recording it tomorrow. I'll remember. Oh, okay. Is it tomorrow? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:35 Oh, okay. Join us, join us tomorrow. Tomorrow. Well, next week for them. It depends how you listen to it. Yeah. Join us now. Now.
Starting point is 00:34:46 That's a good fucking point, ma'am. But I ask you to remember one thing. Whatever happens in this world, if we don't act soon, Mark is going to get eaten by his polar bear wife. And here's a song about it. And here is a song about it. Taken from the musical. Couples therapy.
