Starting point is 00:00:00 A list-nuff production. Get a legends and welcome to another Ripper episode of the Anti-Donna podcast. This week we're treated to an audio adventure following three cheeky, rascally cats, and then we take a time out. And another time out. A lot of time out, actually. Good luck following this one. Remember, you can get access to bonus episodes and the video version of the podcast over
Starting point is 00:00:27 at ANTIDOMICLOB.COM. Hello everybody. Hello kitty cats. Today on the Antitone podcast, we're a little kitty cats. We're going to go on a fun, yarn-based adventure. Perhaps we'll come across a ball of yarn. Perhaps we'll play with a ball of yarn. A chance we'll find a small doll made out of yarn. Maybe one of us will give birth, and then off the birth will be all over the bed, and there'll be all a bunch of small
Starting point is 00:01:25 hats on there that nobody wants, no one knows what to do then. So they'll be put to a heshin sack and taking care of it. I'll do the start. In a little alleyway, in Melbourne. New, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new,
Starting point is 00:01:50 new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so sad. Now, don't worry. While this story starts sad, we can promise you, that it's a little happier, but it goes along. But not before it gets a little darker.
Starting point is 00:02:19 But not in a full-on way. Not sort of like a Disney movie, like it's. But then before it's dark, it gets a little happier. Hmm. But before that, some tragedy will strike our kittens in a very real, very real profound way, like something that's really messed up. Something some real fucked up happens. An old whizzer to cat. What? Stanley, anyway. Yo, yo, yo, yo. real fucked up happens. And old wizard cat walks down the alleyway.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Yo, yo, yo, hello little kitchens. My name is Jeffrey. The older cat had a way about him. His nails worn down to the nub, not so all over his body. He was scraggly like an old sock that's been left in the washer and wasn't taken out to dry, but just sort of dried in the washer and didn't have a proper chance for the dry. You couldn't see his dick like often with male cats.
Starting point is 00:03:18 His prickly dick? Cats have prickly dicks. Yeah. Hump. he explained. Hump. He waited. In anticipation for the kittens to ask why he had humped. No, no.
Starting point is 00:03:37 What's going on? Oh, I've just heard word. But there is a lovely couple on the other side of Melbourne City, looking for three little kittens for their new home. But I'm too old to take the walk. But perhaps, perhaps, in you, I see an opportunity. I have lived a long life as a stray cat here on the streets of Melbourne, surviving on the kindness of strangers, a piece of tuna or a sad deed here and there.
Starting point is 00:04:11 And whilst I always dreamed of a home and a family, my time has passed for that. And it is on... No, no, no, no, no, you go. There you go. And it is on to you, the three cat kittens, that I say make that journey. And it was at that point that the three kittens took a knife and gutted the old cat.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Oh my god. And then use mule mule dicks and rods and cogs and pranks. I'm out. I'm out. I'm out. To turn that old cat into a robot. Yeah. And then they rode the robot. They wrote like a mexu. I get it.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Like a power hanger mexu. And I know that we did agree that I know. I don't want to call time out. I know. Yeah. But I I, look, I don't, I don't want to call time out. I know. But I feel like before this podcast began, we did agree that we wanted to go dark. We talked about how Bambi's mother died. We talked about how they don't go dark anymore
Starting point is 00:05:15 with the kids' stories. I just, I, for me, and I should. You're gonna make the final call here. I just, for me, think that gutting an old cat. I thought the darkness was in him accepting that he would never have a home. You know, that's a bit of a billy alley at moment. The parents, the dad and the brother going into the mind,
Starting point is 00:05:34 say, I just worry that gutting the old man and turning him into like a mech, who's a cat. Old cat makes, it's going to be challenging to have the audience on the side. But does it change if sort of, let me describe the mech suit? Oh, I see. Maybe I should be clear the mech suit.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Well, all right, well then where does each get in control? What part of the mech suit does each get in control? You've got one in the head. You've got one in the head. And he's controlling the head, the vision, that sort of sensory input. You've got one in the head, you've got one in the head, and he's controlling the head, the vision, that sort of sensory input, you've got one in the body, all right, and he's controlling the arms and legs,
Starting point is 00:06:11 walking it upright, and then you've got one, kind of in like a backpack position with big machine gun. Tail gunner. Tail gun. Incorrect. Close, close, close. Okay, but incorrect. What is it?
Starting point is 00:06:23 So the one in the center is actually controlling the vision. The one in the center because the ball is open. And they've built, they've used sort of an older like juice bottle to form a, like a window type area, right? The chest is open and they're controlling. It's a bloody ingorier. Have they kind of just more like it's more like it's? No, these cats are expert technicians.
Starting point is 00:06:44 This is more likely. This is mainly hide. taxidermy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The one in the center of controlling the vision, a vision are doing all the comms. Yeah. Um, uh, then you have, uh, one at the back controlling the arms and then you have another below them controlling the weapon. But what about the weapons who's controlling the who's the gunner? Well, they he's he's they're actually holding a large sword. I like a big final fantasy seven. Yes. Yeah, crafted from a pedal pop stick on the back. And so who's controlling that the one on the back?
Starting point is 00:07:14 Yes, the one on the back. Yeah, he's controlling the house. The one on the back because he's facing if he's controlling the arms and legs, is he getting the vision back to him or is he sort of, it's the comms, the one in the center is sending the cops. It's why it's what you can see. What, it seems a little complicated.
Starting point is 00:07:30 It's not, I know it's complicated. This is how the kittens built it. I would have told them to do it differently, but this is how it happened. But as a narrative, story that we're creating through improv, we can just choose what they did. But this is what happens, so I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I don't understand. That's like saying. Yeah, I'm sorry. I think that's really why we need to have those pre-production meetings. Yes. I didn't realize this was based on a true story. No, no, it's not.
Starting point is 00:07:57 What he's saying is it is all improv, but within the improv, this is what separate cats have done within the improv. Within the improv what separate cats have done. Within the Impro. Within the Impro. So we can't change it. We can't change what's happened. Which, even though it hasn't happened, because it's Impro.
Starting point is 00:08:13 Okay, so just so I'm clear, there's a kitten inside the stomach of the taxidermic cat with a bottle sort of fun. Yes. Yeah, that's what's happening with the head of the cat. It's just sort of flopping. It's sort of fine. Yes. Yeah. What's happening with the head of the cat? It's just sort of flopping. It's sort of flopping down. It marks just sort of flopping his head for those.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Yeah, they do really that. They need up the time to do that. They got to get to the family quick. Right. And then the one at the back has some sort of, is it just shouting out or is they like a common way? Actually, in a chair facing backwards. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:44 And that's how I imagine them with it. Yeah, and they have a little calm system. Right. And they've got the two arms being controlled like this and the one at the front is like, swing the right arm now to block, you know, that kind of thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, because really, and then the one at the bottom is,
Starting point is 00:08:58 where's the one at the bottom? I'm struggling to imagine. It's sort of in like, you know, like those egg chairs, you know, like those hanging egg chairs, they've sort of crafted one of those out of Twine. So, so is the first cat quite high up in that chair? No, it's kind of like right in the center of the body. So it's in the tummy, right?
Starting point is 00:09:16 So I imagine it was there, right? But now please contribute. I get the deciding vote. He needs to hear it all out. But this is what happens. So there's nothing to vote on. I keep going. Well, my hope and plan where I brought this
Starting point is 00:09:31 and we were just seeing little cat songs for 30, three minutes. Oh, I know, I know. But then the cat's, the kittens made a cat mex suit. So, I mean, you gotta go with it. So, you know, just to be clear, you're not voting on whether or not, sorry, there was a misunderstanding. You're not voting on whether or not, sorry, there was a misunderstanding.
Starting point is 00:09:45 You're not voting on whether or not they made a mech suit. Are you voting on the positioning, the positioning of the kittens? No, no, that already happened. I know. We can't change that. But you can't change that. What you're voting on, Broden, is, I can't even recall what you are voting on. Yeah, what are you voting on?
Starting point is 00:10:07 What are you voting on, man? I just, it's odd that you wanted to vote so bad. No, you said, No, I don't recall that. Okay, right. Are you voting on whether they, I'm gaslighting, bro, did I? Nice.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Well, you're talking about over there. Nothing, man. You're crazy on the top. You didn't even say anything. I'm not a real thing. I don't wanna joke about that.. Nothing man. You're crazy. You didn't even say anything. That's a real thing. I don't want to talk about that. I go, is there any way? Do you guys see any possibility? Yeah. Oh, that the mexoo gets jetpacks? No, not what I can. Okay. He's there any way that we get back to just singing little cat songs. Oh, yeah, of course. Absolutely. That is possible. The journey
Starting point is 00:10:41 to just sing in little cat songs. Yeah, of course. Absolutely. That is possible. The journey from Mech suit to the family on the other side, there's not gonna be like, it's not gonna be a full action adventure story. They may come across a giant cockroach. Can we just scratch a paddle?
Starting point is 00:10:54 I love that. Can we just scratch a paddle? But in between that, they're gonna be singing cute little kittens though. Oh, sick. Yeah. All right, I'm happy to kind of go with whatever, because I know that pretty soon, after their first battle, they're gonna upgrade the mexu.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Yeah, well, they'll need to, because they'll need to be defeated. So because part of the problem is, this mexu is gonna work for a moment, right, for their first battle, and then they realize they're gonna have to take on the zombie horde. And the only way to do that is to be people-sized,
Starting point is 00:11:23 and that's when you're gonna see see really essentially something very similar to aliens, the sort of with one cat at the top, controlling something that is now people-sized. So what I want you to imagine for that one is, you know, the aliens mexuit. But that's like the size of a person. And the zombie hordes is just a joke. That's not going to happen. I just want you to imagine an alien mex suit, the size of a person, but with a fedora hat, and a cat, it's a gaudy weaver. Just walking around the city.
Starting point is 00:11:56 And is it made out of a bunch of old dead cats? No, no, it's just full. Unless that happens in which we can't. No, no, it's just full mex. It's just a we can't? Yeah, no, no, it's just full mech. Yeah, right. It's just a full mech suit, and it goes to uniclo. Yeah. All right, so. I'd like to buy a t-shirt.
Starting point is 00:12:11 The cat can talk. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And so the cats were on their way in their dead cat mechs suit. You are the old cat! Yeah!
Starting point is 00:12:31 And of course they are their confronting villain who has not realized that the old cat is just the mechs suit for three kittens. The villain is a tall slender dog. Oh, he barks. Woof, woof, he barks again. I want to eat that cat. No. No.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Says the mech cat, captain. Yeah. Who is positioned? In the belly. In the belly. Where is the leg cat? Sorry, I was explaining this, but then we jumped up. Yeah, yeah. Where is the leg cat? So, explaining this, but then we jumped up. Where is the leg cat cat?
Starting point is 00:13:07 You know those hanging egg chairs? Yeah. They've crafted that and it's hanging like the cup of a cricket player. Yes, like the cup of a cricket player. And that's hanging below sort of where the balls would be and they're controlling the legs, kinda like that. You mean symbiosis with the... Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:28 I get it. Whoa, okay, whoa. Well, did you just snap at me? I'm sorry, I snap. I just wanted to get back to the kitty cat story. I'm so sorry, go for it. Ruff, ruff, ruff. I want to get this old cat. But also also I've got three human sized mexuits that I need to get
Starting point is 00:13:50 up my head. Three. Yeah. Wow. Well, first can we use our mexican little bit? The cat and dog pro climbed. The cat and dog pro climbed. Wait, we're timing it.
Starting point is 00:14:05 I just want to be, what would you call that in a book? Descriptive. The narrator? The narrator, yes. Yeah. Which I'm happy for you to do. Great. Big print.
Starting point is 00:14:15 I feel like we've spent the money on the, we've already spent the money on the cat mech suit. That's already been designed. If we were in control of this story, if it wasn't, you know, for the fact that the dog made that choice, I would have kept the old man cat suit. Oh no, it's improv, we can go back and we can check things. So unfortunately, the dog, yeah, because I was, do you know what I was expecting to have? What?
Starting point is 00:14:41 I was expecting they would have like a battle. You remember I said that. Yeah. They would have like a battle. You remember I said that. Yeah. They would have like a battle. Yeah. And then like it would be like an upgrade, kind of like a shopping event. Yeah. No, you're right. Just you're very right. It happened and there's nothing we can do about it. We'll be back after this ad with you guys who are both on the same page. We're on the same page. We're playing out this act of the game.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Yeah. The dog and the cat stared at one another. The mech cat, the mech dead cat. I'm slicing your head off, dog. And then the slice, the dog's head off. The dog. Oh, no. Oh, no, says a, says a, near, near, on the right. On the right.
Starting point is 00:15:18 But we were sharing narration. Before? Okay, great. You're the main narrator. Oh, great. I'm talking about. You're the main narrator. Oh, great. I'm talking about. You're the main narrator. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:28 I'm a narrator, right. But, and I'm a narrator, see. Max and a writer B. I don't want a narrator. You don't have to. Okay, great. But you are there. You're on the call sheet as a narrator B.
Starting point is 00:15:38 So if you ever want a narrator, that's a good way to get a bit extra. Does that make life hard? Do you need to be bumped up to be in he goes down a sea? It's like it's semantics. I can't write. I'll talk about it for season two. Shame the dog died.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Well, music. Oh no. Proclaim the dog. No, passable. There's a passable. Oh no. Have you not heard? This be a hydrodog.
Starting point is 00:16:05 In that moment, where once there was one head. So it was one head. Head. Just three heads, like the... There were just three heads where there was a... What do you... Like the dog was like the case of the... Hercules.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Oh, the three-dimensional. And now where once was a head. Three heads popped out. So it's not the headiest dog. It's the, you know, the... Seribus? You know, the dragon where he cuts off his head dog three heads popped out. It's not the heydler dog. It's the you know the seribus You know the dragon where he cuts off it hit it's head and wherever it comes off it doesn't even look at you And it's in it's in Mythology as well. Yes, I was referring to the three-dimensional
Starting point is 00:16:37 The three they did do three-dimensional roaring We clear it's the 3-day out of it. Yeah, but you said you said a three-headed dog. Yeah, no, that was fine It's a fine mistake to make I just want to make sure we're on the same page. We go on the same page man That's good. This is good in pro. All right, actually Now I have three heads. Yeah. Yeah, he said.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Oh, shut up you. He said, no, I'll talk. He said. And then the kittens, um, uh, slam their mick cat. Oh, mom, I'm gonna slam my, sorry, I was narrating. I'm gonna slam my mick cat hands on the ground and make rocks full from the top to crush the dog. Mark said.
Starting point is 00:17:28 And then, and now the mick, the big human mexuits are unavailable to us and they've destroyed. Mark said, it's then that as the dog died, Mark said. They saw the three mexuits completely foreign, foreign the file of trouble. And then they blew up, and then the three mexuits, But they're so... Three mix suits. Completely foreign. From when the file of Rumble. And then they blew up. And then the three mix suits.
Starting point is 00:17:49 The three cats blew up. No, the three mix suits. No, the three mix suits. Oh my god. I said the three mix suits. I said the three mix suits. But then I said the three cats. So that means the three mix suits.
Starting point is 00:17:57 But then I said the three mix suits after that. But that means the three mix suits and the three cats in the other day. You're right. Sorry. Let's go back. No, we can't go back. Oh, the cats came back together. Mark said, as did the mexuits.
Starting point is 00:18:08 Zaxid. Zaxid, Mark. What would you say? The mexuits blew up again. And they can't be gone back together. And the shrapnel, the shrapnel. The shrapnel from the mexuits. Shut up.
Starting point is 00:18:23 The shrapnel from the mexuits killed the three kids, which they stopped. Mark said, kill them. Zach said, Zach, Zach thought for a moment and then Oh, yeah, what? And then go. No, no, no, no, no, look man.
Starting point is 00:18:41 No, we'll do whatever. No, no, no, no, look, it's his thing. This is what's hard because this is what happened. And so this is the time we can't change history. You can't go back and get Hitler into art school. It's like you can't. Can you put through the music in? We're just going to get that music back on.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Then the three cats went back in time and put Hitler in art school. And World War II didn't happen. And things were really good. Scientific progress. Jack said. Just went a little bit different. It was a little slower, to be honest, because the nuclear bomb is awful as it was.
Starting point is 00:19:20 It did lead to a lot of development and stuff, like the MRI and all of that. But pause with his hands. Can I time it? Tell me what I'm saying. I know you said it was semantics. Tell me what. If Brody is just going to be doing Zack said, Mark said.
Starting point is 00:19:37 I'm narrating. Well, I feel like a narrator C. No. No. I don't take this from me. I do not take that. I think you either need to take charge. Do you not take lead narrator from me? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no of how he could turn these two men, these two stubborn, bearded men, away from their thoughts that Brody should be narrating.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Time out, time out. Time out from the time out. Should we play music for that? Yes. Yeah, right. So I need to just stop that. The bit, the layer of this improv, where we were...
Starting point is 00:20:24 This is the double-connary of the... Yeah, yeah. bit the layer of this improv where we were- This is the double-finery, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. Well, we would disagree about what to do. Should it have narration? I feel like that was in my mind set in the real world. That was like, I have a real conversation. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:38 But now with narration, that's like also a sort of story. Yeah, no, and I completely understand. And I'm not narrating here though, on this level, I'm not narrating. No. Said Broden, incredulously. No! Oh shit! Zach's doing narration on level 3 to AA. Mark realized in this moment just how confusing this podcast might get. And in an effort to maybe...
Starting point is 00:21:01 move backwards a little bit. He declared. Hmm. Meow. They heard. Off in the studio in the corner. What's the three kittens? Come out.
Starting point is 00:21:14 Come on, man. Get on board. Come on. The kids are here. They're not here. They're in level three now. No, we're level four. I believe this is level four.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Yeah, you've got the kittens. You've got the kittens though. Can we get this? No, I don level four. I believe this is level four. Yeah, you've got the kittens. You got the kittens, though, can we get this? No, I don't know. I don't know how to do that. I'm not keeping track of this. So you got the kittens. You've got the kittens. You've got the kittens, too.
Starting point is 00:21:32 Yep, you've got a Mark and Zach and Broden sort of arguing about what the, you know, what the mech discussion level. Yeah, yeah, this through where we should go. Then you've got the next level, which is we're not, we're just actually having a genuine conversation about whether we're disagreeing or not, which is also being narrated. And the kittens from the first one or so in this one. Yes. As the boys time travel, the boys pointed and used their fingers when this is for gesticulating, where we're just talking about is level four, where we're just just talking about are you guys excited for level five?
Starting point is 00:22:08 Yeah, I'm gonna be a level four. I will build to that. Here's my question level four. Do we have to go? Can we go from level five to level one or do we have to go through four three two? Yeah to get there also And this is a full ripoff of inception right the one I'm Everything is really you know whenever you look at it was a ripoff of the matrix matrix was full ripoff of inception, right? Everything is really, you know, whenever you look. It was a ripoff of the Matrix, Matrix was a ripoff of Ghost in the Shower, which was a ripoff of I don't know, that's where my knowledge ended. And they're all a ripoff of the accidental tourist with William Hurt. And in a lot of ways, they're all a ripoff of Plato's Cave.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Timeout. Sorry. Time out. Sorry. Time out. Can we get some fifth level of timeout music? So we're just gonna wait for some fifth level. And it's fine if you have to reuse. Actually. Time out. No, we never got the card.
Starting point is 00:22:56 No, that can be six level of timeout music. Ah, great. I can't wait to hear what you had to say in the fifth level of Time Out about my Play Noes Cave joke. Well, it's just a sting. Oh no wait. I know what's going on. But now that we are in the sixth level of Time Out, I need to explain to you, this level
Starting point is 00:23:16 of Time Out is the only level of Time Out that for thousands of years has been aware of all of the levels of time out time out No, no, no, no, I wasn't gonna live a little seven. I just want to like I can't well I just want to have a nice chocolate. Oh, you had a nice truck Yeah, I'm fine now and then we can go back to level six. Okay, so we're time seven and we just all eating Chuckie cabbri's time out and, wait, wait, that was level eight for Chucky, isn't it? Seven.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Seven. At level six, you can be aware it's the only level that is aware of the level. Yeah, after it. Yeah. Does that make sense? So level six, we can talk about level seven being the chocolate level.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Right? Yeah. And I'll tell you why the cats are here. I'll tell you why the cats are here. This is important. Can we get that level six music playing? It's just little stings. Yeah, me, I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm you I'm for thousands of years. But the God of Level 1, the Cat God, the Lion God, in order to protect Level 1, and all of the levels of time out, created an ancient tournament called Mortal Combat. Wow, wow, it was sixes Mortal Combat. Yeah, where every, where a repertory satellite? Six is more a combat. Where every, where a red or an Adelaide? No, it's the first one.
Starting point is 00:24:46 I've shot in, I think Thailand. If you, if you make the person that started this king from Tekken, which is a different fighting game series, that's a cat. But it's a big eye-sick. Yeah, I'm sorry. Time out. Yummy chockeys.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Yum yum chockeys. Yum yum chockeys. Yum chockeys. I'm stopping that time back down to six. OK, back to joking. Yeah, I'm joking. I'm stopping that time out, back down to six. Okay, back to six. Yep. Now, there are many, many levels, infinite levels of time out. Really?
Starting point is 00:25:13 But the, but the competitive, there's only 12 competitors in Mortal Kombat. Level one of time out, level two of time out, level three of time out. Levels of five. Level four of time out, level three of time out. Levels are fighting. Four of time out, level five of time out. Level six of time out. The episode should be called a couple of naughty cats. Level seven of time out.
Starting point is 00:25:35 Level eight of time out. Level ten of time out. Also not nine. And level 176 of time out. Okay, right. We probably won't get to level 176 of time out, but their representative will come to level six. Great. On a great dragon boat from Hong Kong.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Time out. Yum yum yum yum. Yum yum yum yum. Jumpy, jumpy, jumpy, jumpy. Hello! Oh! Time out, level eight. Oh, level eight, time out.
Starting point is 00:26:04 The self-aware level. Oh, oh! Iine out, level eight. Oh, level eight, Tine-ish. The self-aware level. I love being in level eight. That's all for Tine out. Level nine. Miao, miao. Level nine. Miao, miao. Welcome to level nine, Tine out.
Starting point is 00:26:22 Miao. You have a challenge in front of you. He said, roll the dice, and if it's less than three, he said, you will suffer the consequences. He said, if it's more than three, you will move forward on the board. It's nightmares, the board, the V, the red roll, your dice. Mill. The cat rolled the dice of Nightmare the game. Mill. Tell me out.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Hello, welcome to my milk bar. Hello, I want a point of milk, please. No worries, I'll get you a point of milk. But can we discuss the nightmare? The nightmare game level? Yeah. I mean, that's the purpose of a timeout, isn't it? You know, A.
Starting point is 00:27:14 You said, what are you doing? Hello, I'm from Split Ends. All right, hello split ends. We're here in the milk, British milk bar level of timeout to talk about the nightmare level of timeout. I wanted to say if we go back there, is there any way to get a gatekeeper in? I can do a gatekeeper. Let's find out. Level 9. Welcome to your nightmare.
Starting point is 00:27:42 So you want to play the game My game he said with my So this is a VHS game from that is pretty old isn't it you Maggets board game that was made with a VHS you explain that in the timeout man timeout ow should we explain what nightmarish
Starting point is 00:28:15 this is this is maybe and maybe like a bad is a bad is really full of paper coming in this is very complicated complicated We're trying to call the gatekeeper coming in. This is very complicated. It hasn't complicated. Ow! We're at level 10. Level 10, nine. Level 10, I think.
Starting point is 00:28:29 Nine? 11, maybe. 11, we're level 11 time out. Which doesn't, we don't have to be numbered anymore. And we're not competing in mortal combat, are we? No, no. No, we are. Oh, maybe we were.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Oh, God, bangers and mash! Cooking on the stove at home. We're not even numbered We're the British milk bar timeout. Hey, you want a curly-worthy for 60s pence. Yes, there you go So you wanted to talk about nightmare and catch the audience up. No better place than the timeout immediately I just thought maybe if I'm gonna do a gatekeeper. I'm never getting a vote. I'm never getting a vote.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Introduction forum will be good. What is this about your issue with the, do you think this is, do you think? Time out. As inception slash more or combat realm. Mm. Is too complicated. I wonder what's going on in level one by the well
Starting point is 00:29:25 I'm gonna go all the way through I just one day though I've never got an air owners. I think wait time out time out time out So Oh! So, that level. Thank God we got through the way. Fucking sucks. No, it had a wayling soul.
Starting point is 00:29:48 The sirens, it's a sirens. The sirens. The wayling sirens, the spirits of all those that have been lost at sea. So this is a narrative. That's a narrative that. That's what we're that to we're that. That one's to wet for me. It's to lay out.
Starting point is 00:30:00 This podcast is about some cheeky cats on an adventure. Not this one. This podcast. Not this one. Yes, yes, this podcast is about some cheeky cats on an adventure. Not this one. This podcast. For the podcast, but not this label. Yes, yes, this podcast is, yes. Yes. In all the levels, everyone's aware of the fact that they're in a podcast.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Yes, yes, yes. So this is, and we're doing a series of time-outs. Yes. Is that correct? Yes. They all know it. They don't know how they came to exist. Like the English people know.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Sorry, I should just say, we are just discussing podcast. It's Mark, Broden and Zach. Everything about this is a normal timeout, except for the fact that we are in the middle of a grand vista of a desert in the Sub-Saharan. We're sitting around a small square table, three comfy chairs in the desert. But it's like a red chairs in the desert. But it's red rug and by the weather. Yeah, no, it's a decoration. It's neutral and entirely neutral weather. It's not neither comfortable nor uncomfortable, no wind.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Very, very, very similar to the start of John Wick 4. Not bad. But timeout, I haven't seen that. Timeout. Boop, dip, dip, boop, dip, boop. Browl then, how's it possible? timeout i haven't seen that timeout but it will be but it will be brought that has a uh... a little
Starting point is 00:31:11 uh... uh... but it's a bit just but it's a bit but it will be but it will be no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no I'm out. Mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew. That level where they just, the cats just talking mows, to a difficult day of conversations
Starting point is 00:31:34 in. So, I just wanted to check in really quickly. What, what, what, I don't do with it. But quite a few levels deep. We're in the teens. And, and I can't tell you anything about Stuck here forever. I can't tell you about any further timeouts, because the only timeout that knows all the timeouts is the Mortal Kombat timeout.
Starting point is 00:31:55 What is this though? What I can tell you? What I can tell you? What I can tell you? What are the timeouts? Or was that one of the levels of timeout? No, it is a level of timeout. It is a level of timeout.
Starting point is 00:32:04 It wants to be the number one. It wants the podcast. It wants the podcast to be the number one. It wants to be the one non-time out realm. Yeah. Is the first time out realm is actually a non-time out realm. There's no one times out the first realm. But I need to warn you now.
Starting point is 00:32:23 You said it before. You're incorrect by one time out though, bro. Zach said. So, yeah, this has got some narration. Some narration, it's a really normal. But there's just the occasion. Some narration every now and then, bro, and you said before that this is a time out,
Starting point is 00:32:38 we can't get out of, we can get out of this one. But I warn you, in the next time out, okay, you cannot say the words time out. In any way, shape or form, it is as far as we can tell the last time out you can get to. It's the last time out anyone's ever gotten to, but it's also impossible to get out of. We know that it's a time out that you can gotten to, but it's also impossible to get out of. We know that it's a time out that you can't get, but if we go into the next time out, we're there. We're done.
Starting point is 00:33:10 We can never come back. So I just wanna warn you. Time out. Oh. Oh. What have you done? You have banished us to this realm. Said the dog.
Starting point is 00:33:25 Meow, meow meow Said the kittens Meow meow Yes, Sackmark Yes, go take it Yes, Mark Yes, the kittens in the mech suit It's circular Don't you see?
Starting point is 00:33:36 Of course If the first Time out Oh, we can say it It was just a theory Zaxxia No, no So That's actually a matter of time out. No, no. So now we're at the second time out.
Starting point is 00:33:49 What? I can explain it now. I get it. Okay, so because I thought it worked differently, I thought that I might be out 16 or whatever it was. Bring that sick music back there. I like that. It was a rep though. We got to go back to 16 to get that music.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Can I go back and get it and then bring it on like a CD? We can probably just go here. Yeah, we need to figure that music. Can I go back and get it and then bring it on like a, see you there? We can probably just go here. Yeah, we need to figure something out. We're either in level two, or I thought we were deeper still. I thought this is like level 18, 19, because what I thought had happened was that people realized that we're doing it.
Starting point is 00:34:16 And this is the level where Broden votes. Yeah. So what I thought had happened was that people couldn't get past that level of time out. So what they did was they recreated level one. It's a, it's a, it's a, we'll never actually know what your theory is, what my theory is, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:37 Yeah. We'll never actually know. I'll explain my theory, right? So when we were at the level, the time out level before the time out that I thought was a timeout trap You understand like the where I said there the next time out is a timeout You cannot escape from because you can't say timeout that was a theory because no one that ever went into that timeout Had ever come out of that time out so the theory was that it was a timeout level where you couldn't say timeout
Starting point is 00:35:00 We got to that level and it emerged Let me explain it this way. So this timeout. We got to that level and it emerged, let me explain it this way. So, a first timeout level. All right, you understand. Remember how I was saying earlier that the first timeout level, even though it's the first timeout level, is in fact not a timeout level
Starting point is 00:35:16 because no one ever timed out into that level. Remember how I said that, right? And then remember how I said the next timeout level when we were in the one before the time out level, I thought you couldn't escape. I said, this is a time out level that is not a time out level, because no one can say time out.
Starting point is 00:35:32 What I've realized, and you have to really, like, step away from your preconceptions of time out, is that these two time out levels, I believe, are one and the same. It's a circular thing. That's my theory, right? And we prove this. Unfortunately, it's one of those theories
Starting point is 00:35:53 we'll never know. It could be a circular thing or it could be right now that we're still in the time out realm you can escape but there is a level of type. What marks it, both could be true still in the time out realm you can escape, but there is a level of type. What marks it, both could be true, and we'll never know.
Starting point is 00:36:10 It's kind of like many will, there's no way to know. I think I know how to explain it though. Okay, clearly to what we're doing. Did you understand what's going on, Brody? I'm highly, yeah. If you don't, you can check. We can talk this through.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Let's just do a Christopher Nolan. Would you like to speak to a scientist character that understands all of this? Yeah Yeah sure. Yeah, go right just ask me a question. I'm a scientist So listen, so you're telling me we could either be in a timeout loop that that loops back around at around 16 timeouts and no matter how deep you go you'll always loop around or we could be trapped in timeout 16 Recreating it's almost more of an infinite spiral inwards. Don't think about it too much. Well, I'm a little bit of a tenant. Do you want me to explain it like a scientist in tenant?
Starting point is 00:36:54 Yes, please. Or actually, could you explain it rather than like a scientist in tenant? No, I can't. Oh, you don't understand. Can you ask Mark, and can you actually try to explain it to him? Try to explain it. Timeout. What do you need? What was this to him? Try to explain it. Time out. What do you need?
Starting point is 00:37:05 What was this time out? This is a time out. This is potentially three where it's the time out, time out level two. Is where we're arguing. Is it where we're arguing about time out? Yeah, and actually we're just mad. I just wanted to check. I just wanted to check.
Starting point is 00:37:16 What's happening in the level above us? That's a time out. I'm just asking Mark, we're doing in Christopher Nolan. So is this a, wait is is this like a part of split? Did you just split the multi? Did you just create a multi? Did you just create a multi? Did you just create a multi time out?
Starting point is 00:37:30 Oh no. Did you just split the time out? I think I did. Does that mean that we're still in the other time out? Well, what's great about this is that. And it did too much. What's incredible about this is that what Broden has done is actually opened up the chance for a sequel.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Because now, I'm so glad you put this in. Kind of like at the end of Independence Day resurgence where they set up, they literally have a line from a scientist that goes, there are infinite planets with infinite things going on and these movies will go on forever. That's what you've just done for this franchise. Now that the timeout's can split. Just flatly, the timeout.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Yeah. Are you saying you want to record more of these? Well, we could either do a Marvel, or we could do an Independence Day resurgence and then just never make another movie. There's only one way people will know. Yeah. Do you know what I love, though?
Starting point is 00:38:27 I just want to say, time out. Time out. Yeah, this is definitely a different set of time outs. Firstly, because there's not been any music come in. I think we would be at British Milk Bar by now. And actually, this time out is all about me talking about the, oh, yeah, this is, no, this is wrong. Something... Oh! Yeah, this is... No, this is wrong. Something's wrong.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Yeah, this is like... Wait a second. Something's wrong. Yeah, it all seems right, but the door on this gate isn't squeaking. That's a different to one moment from one episode of the 1990s sci-fi network drama. It's all sliders. Every music is happening. But the gate is in squeaking.
Starting point is 00:39:11 And my gate... We've only got one minute before we've got a timeout. My gate squeaked. Let's time out. But we know that we can never come back to this timeout. It's not the right universe. All right, timeout. Now let's go timeout. Time out. Now let's go time out.
Starting point is 00:39:25 Time out. Now let's go back to that universe for a second. Oh, you bet, like, we're not there. Oh, hey, thanks so much for flipping it. What is going on? What is going on? We're doing a bit from Sliders. You remember Sliders?
Starting point is 00:39:36 From Time Out TV. Time out. Come on. Time out. Oh, wait. In this time out, the music's still playing. So that definitely proves the time out split theory. Yeah. It's not a loop. It's a multi-verse timeout. Timeout.
Starting point is 00:39:53 Timeout. Timeout. Timeout. Hello. Timeout. Timeout. I don't want to make that character. You don't want to.
Starting point is 00:40:04 Maybe we would jump back in. Let's go back, let's go see him real quickly again. How are you? At the time out. I hate it, I hate it. I hate it. So in this time out program, this is where Mark and Zach explain to you
Starting point is 00:40:18 one moment from the television show, Sliders in greater detail. I think that's the next time out. Oh, time out. So in your time out, we'll, bro, time out real quick. Go back to time out They're going back to time out so we're gonna go back to the time out when we're fully This is just like the force in style was now. We're breaking all the rules. Go back to time out We can't jump back you got to go through. Okay, go back one time out. This is Back one time out hey bro. Welcome to the time out where mark thinks it's the time out no music off
Starting point is 00:40:46 Brodus James James come on you got a focus man come on man. You haven't been running this down Brodum we are now in the time out where mark thinks it's the time out where we explain the television show Sliders and the next one is the weed guy the world the next one is the one where we do explain Sliders to you. Okay, the one before okay is the weed guy so let's go back to that one next one is the one where we do explain sliders to you. The one before is the weed, guys. Let's go back to that one. Next one, here we are. So, pass slide, this one. So, we've got to agree on the,
Starting point is 00:41:12 I know that it's all semantics, but we have to agree on the directionality of the timeouts. Or else we're, hello. Oh wait, can we go back one? Yeah. Hello. Welcome to this time out. The most fun, adventurous time out there is.
Starting point is 00:41:30 You know what? Time out. So this is the time out. Oh wait. Tell him it's the time out where it's sliders. So this is the time out where we explain sliders. Can I talk about that character here or no? No, no, you've got to go two time out.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. This is Sliders. This is Sliders. Yeah, this time out, this is the Sliders one. Okay. So Sliders was the common asker of the British girl. In the 90s. Time out.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Oh yeah, we're gonna get another time out for that. Hey bro, what was your question about three or four time out to go? Who's that guy? Well, let me tell you in a fun little song where I piss my pants. Here we go. Piss my pants. It's really warm.
Starting point is 00:42:11 You make this time out. I'm the cold one. No, it's a too big time out. Time out. It's too big. Time out. Okay, great. This is the time out where we talk about the pressure
Starting point is 00:42:21 that Broden puts on people to wrap up podcasts in time out. Oh, sorry. It's not time out. It's not cool when we're... the pressure that Broden puts on people to wrap up podcasts in time out. Oh, sorry. It's not cool. It's not cool. Should we really be talking about the pressure Broden puts on us to wrap up podcasts? He's doing it in our best interests, you know. Are you the co-deferment or...? No! I'm a different character. Although I'm very similar to the... What's your name?
Starting point is 00:42:41 Don't fall one. What's your name? My name is Frog Man! Oh! In this time out, Frog Man doesn't sound like Frog Man from the auntie on a bug-ass episode one. Also, I'm more man than Frog. I don't live on a lily pad. I live in a normal house.
Starting point is 00:42:58 I don't live in cragie burn. I live in the CBD in a one bedroom apartment. The only part of me that's frog is that I'm wet, moist like a frog, and I have tadpoles fall out of my belly. Progment, can you do me a favor? Yeah. Can you wrap this episode? Time out.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Time out. I think we just do it to be continued, man. Okay. All right. We're bored with that. We're good to do this. We're good to do that. He's could be a this could be our first like everyone's looking for their MCU. You can say what you could be our MCU. The adventures of the cheeky kittens. Can
Starting point is 00:43:33 you can I time out? Yeah. Mark, I love the MCU pitch. Yeah. Right. Why did you have to time out for this? We were talking about this. No, because I don't want to I actually want to agree with you in that one. Oh, right. But in this one, I just want to say, can you, can you also make part of the pitch that we do MCU style explainers? Yes. So like, what's with this? Yeah. And then it's like, it's kind of like, yeah, time out. Yeah. I'm going to, I'm going to agree with you about adding in the, oh, this is the one where Brodon only says boobies. Boobies! Just so you know, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:08 It's the time out where Brodon only says boobies and where I'm talking to you about your knowing some IMC. You know what I mean? I've been in this time out, this is my time out. I live in this time out. You live here? Oh, when did you move here? I've been here forever. I am Time Out Zach.
Starting point is 00:44:20 Oh! I am Brodon only says boobies. I'm out that. But here's the problem. Where's the Zach you came here with? Bum bum bum bum. That's the twizz. Well that's the thing.
Starting point is 00:44:31 We've got to find the next week on the Antidonopithecus. Mark and Broden that only says boobies. Try to find their versions. Yes. Yeah. versions. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Are we good with that?
Starting point is 00:44:48 Yes, as long as we... Well, I might just create another time out that explains sliders, because I just want to make sure Brody understands the light. That can all happen next week. Boobies. Next week, join us on the Antidonopodcast. We're Mark and Brodyne who only says boobies, try to find their version of Zach.
Starting point is 00:45:08 But also, there might be a few timeouts where Mark explains sliders to Broden. I get what you're saying a timeout. So we will get to that wrapping it up, yet one. But should you just quickly explain sliders because if we leave it till next week, people will be sitting all week on what the fuck is sliders remember sliders? Yes with our Gerry O'Connell the fact kid from From
Starting point is 00:45:33 St. Trayden body by me. Yeah, yeah, he got skinny. He did sliders. Yeah They're trying to find their way home. They're traveling through portals And then there's one season that ends with, they get, one of the things is, you know, it's like it's a cookie. It's like, what do you mean you know? I've seen, I watched all the sliders. But you remember the thing with the guy?
Starting point is 00:45:52 Wasek, are you telling me that in this level of time out, where my one purpose is to explain sliders to you? Yes, I know. You know and have seen all of the sliders? Absolutely. This fucking sucks. Can I go back? Can I explain Sliders and the one before?
Starting point is 00:46:08 Do you need to? I think it's funny that you did an obscure reference. I don't think you need to explain the reference. The joke is the obscure reference. And I have kind of explained it. I know. And we've also done the Sliders bit more than once. Yeah, we have surely a broad time.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Many times, but we talk about that bit from Sliders. He said. Yeah. Let's go back one.
