We are starting fresh, hot and fresh like the hot meats.
Starting point is 00:00:30 in a supermarket. We spoke about this. But Tom, what are you, why are you laughing about? It's just funny. This era thing that we do. We just did eight of the silliest podcasts. What, Taylor Swift's the only one who can do it?
Starting point is 00:00:42 I don't think so. We're as popular as her in some ways. We all have two of them on our heads. Ears. I'm talking about Ears. Broden. And some people are born with more than two. Two ears.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Two ears. freaks um but um uh uh that's usually because of some sort of like toxic mouse mouse
Starting point is 00:01:11 what there's a mouse with an ear on it I thought you're talking about the character from the Matrix we know yeah anyway let's not get into that we're here to talk about hot meats uh the hot the hot meat era
Starting point is 00:01:25 of Auntie Donnell we've done the cold cuts uh well it's all under the Daly umbrella. Delhi dynasty. The Daly dynasty. Or diner. What?
Starting point is 00:01:39 The Daly Age? The Great Daly Age. I'm pretty hard on Daly Dynasty. I don't want to push it, but like it is the Daly. Zach off Mike came over to me and said. All right. Okay. I'll take that.
Starting point is 00:01:56 The Delhi dynasty of the Delhi Age. The new Delhi Age. No. Delhi dynasty of the Delhi Age. It's hot meat time. We're talking about your roast chooks, your pork loins, your silverside, corned beef, anyone?
Starting point is 00:02:15 Yeah. Great quick dinner. And what we have today to kick us off in this fresh, juicy, hot, new era. Get it in the morning because it's much fresher. You'll leave it to the end of the day, it dries out a little. That's what these podcasts and this era is all about.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Is that fair to say? No. Yeah. Then I'll just strike that from the record. And let's kick it off with a guest. Can you guess the guest, Broden? Sam Altman. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:51 The answer is Sam Altman. He is the king of chat GPT. He has blood on his hands. Let's welcome to the. stage, sort of second degree murderer, Sam Altman. Okay. Thank you so much for having me, guys. It's so great to be here.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Sam. Okay. Very softly spoken man, you are. Sam, the Sam, the softly spoken man. Sam is a softly spoken man. Sam is a softly spoken man. What you got in your hand, Sam, is that a hot piece of ham? If it is, you can perfect.
Starting point is 00:03:30 perfect for this era era of anti-dodd podcasts Sam. Thanks for being here. Thank you so much for having me, guys. It's so great to be here. I can't wait to talk to you. You're Sam Altman. Yeah. That's right.
Starting point is 00:03:44 And also, you don't have to wait to talk to us because you're doing it right now. Sure, yeah. Can I have a grand? Yeah, well, see, obviously. You could spare it. Just get another loan against your assets. Tax-free. Thanks for being here.
Starting point is 00:04:01 So good to have you here, Sam Altman. Now, are you alt-man in the sense that a robot is an alternate version of a man? Or are you, like there's a man out there and you are the backup, you're the alternate. Yeah, so there's a lot of confusion in the community at the moment about what I am, who I am. I am a man. You see where it's coming from, right? Yeah, absolutely. I am a man.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I'm not a robot. In music theater, they have the alternate. They're a swing. Or an alternate. Sure, yeah. Well, I'm not a music theater performer. I'm the CEO of Open AI and I'm not a robot. Open AI.
Starting point is 00:04:41 Yeah, open it up. Tell us what's inside of the AI. Yeah, so basically we are a company. We make AI products. Most famously, we make ChatGBT. Nice. And I'm so excited for you to hear about it, talk about it. That's basically, you can talk to it.
Starting point is 00:04:57 It'll tell you anything. Yeah. Is there much to talk about when it comes to it? Because I feel like we're all pretty across it. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, absolutely. And I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have about chat GPT or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:05:12 All right. My first question is why? So we were trying to innovate and push forward what we could do. And I remember when we first pitched the idea of a large language model, you know, we were really excited about that. And I know that there are some concern. I mean, we have done research. Okay. What's happening here?
Starting point is 00:05:35 Well, Sam, this is a comedy podcast. Sure. Yeah. And this is like we wanted to do funny things. Yeah, like every day when we rock up to do this podcast, we need to bring the funny. Oh, yeah. Sure. And at the moment, you're bringing statistics and numbers and graphs and numbers and robots and stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Well, do you need jokes right now? Yeah, we need jokes. And you can't ask your... Well, actually, you could. This is what I wanted to say right now. I actually needed a joke recently for a speech. I put it in a J.C.V.T. And I said, you know, I need five jokes for a speech.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Could you give me five options? I used one of those jokes for the speech. And it went really well. So you use it? Oh, yeah. I use it every day. In your everyday life? We're actually...
Starting point is 00:06:21 Are we concerned at all at the office about, you know, that this sort of hive mind situation where we create something like Terminator True, where this hive mind starts creating robots to exist within it. Yeah, absolutely. But we're prepared for that. How are you prepared? Because I've heard these rumors about the robots telling the smaller robots
Starting point is 00:06:42 who to kill. Sure, yeah. But you could ask one of those smaller robots before it kills you. You can say, hey, I need to feed my dog, something. What should I feed it? And it can give you a balanced diet before it kills you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. So it's good for dog diets before you die. Yeah, from the robots. So the robots are here. They're here in a number of countries. You just haven't heard about it.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Spotify, I don't know if you're aware of this program, but Spotify do two big things. One, any music you want in your pocket at all times and making robot death machines. those are Spotify's two big core values at the moment and Sam Altman is somehow tied into this Why the fuck are you here? Why am I here? I'm so excited about chat GPT. I want to talk about it. Why on this show?
Starting point is 00:07:40 Yeah. No one's listening to this. Oh, that's a really valid point. What is the difference, Sam? I've got a question for Sam. Well, if you wanted more listeners, I just wanted to say if you want more listeners, you could put that in the chat with each of it.
Starting point is 00:07:51 And it'll give you an answer. Am I worried? Am I concerned at all that this chat GPT will one day kill us all? Yeah, absolutely. I am. That is something we're addressing and looking at it. Well, then stop it. Yeah, you could just chill out. Like, you've made your fortune.
Starting point is 00:08:04 But, I mean, obviously, there are concerns that this robot, a hive mind will kill us all, maybe destroy society and make us all mental people. But we're looking into that. I have a question. Yeah. It's a smart question. I hope that's okay. Sure, I'm a smart guy.
Starting point is 00:08:19 So what is the difference? between an LLM and an LCM. Sure. That's a great question. Now, obviously you could ask that to chat to youvety, but I can give you the answer as well. I want to know it from the Altman himself. Large language model, it basically uses machine learning, something that has been used in mathematics, physics for a number of years to create predictive language, right?
Starting point is 00:08:41 Machine learning. Sure. Yeah. Now, LCMs are a crispy rice treat with sort of an M&M style candy on top of. is one variety. Not all ways. Why is it called an LCM? I believe my understanding is, I might be wrong here.
Starting point is 00:08:59 My understanding is that was a marketing thing. Isn't it a large crispy model? No, I believe it was, they realized that acronyms were popular at the time. It doesn't actually stand for anything. Really? I believe so. And what do you stand for Sam Altman? I stand.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Well, so if you're asking me if I'm concerned about the robots coming and killing us all, are you asking that? Well, yeah, it's, yeah, I guess so. So now I want to know if you stand when you peepee. Oh, you stand when you pee pee pee? So there's two questions here. One is the impending robot death? Yeah. We are concerned about that, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:09:31 And you're doing what to prevent it? Well, the new model of chat GPT does have ads, but also the fidelity of the images is so much more impressive. And to answer your other question about whether I stand to pee, no, I do sit to pee. Every time? Not every time, but, you know. I guess. I actually asked chat TBT. I said, is this girly to do?
Starting point is 00:09:55 And it said it wasn't. No, I don't care. Why don't we take a break? And please come back. More. Yeah, because we got some more hot, hot auntie done to meet coming up with Sam, alternate man. The alternate of men, man needs an alternate choice.
Starting point is 00:10:16 And we have that man here and his name is Sam. And we'll be right. back now. Here we are. We've got Broden. You're still here? Yeah. You haven't checked out yet. Yeah, you're getting close? Yeah, yeah, you're getting close. Yeah, yeah, you're getting close. I've got to tell you, Sam, old man. Sorry, I really did think there was more comedic potential in this character. No, no, no, it's very funny. No, I don't know if it is. I think the contrast of talking about impending robot death and casually, because he does this a lot in interviews. Yeah, I've not, I've not seen the man. So he'll often say things like, yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:10:50 We are concerned about those things. And then he'll never really give an answer. Yeah, yeah. It's very interesting. Yeah. But not as funny as I thought it would be. Yet. Yet.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Well, you know, you've got your friend that you can bring in at any time. Sure. Well, yeah. Maybe ask about investors. Before we started recording, there was talk of another character being in this episode. Yeah. But due to physical restrictions. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Absolutely. The voices are physical. Yeah. It can only be done for 30 seconds, a minute. Yeah, maybe a minute in total, but not in one go. And I would keep in mind with this character that we, obviously we do one podcast a week, but you know, your voice is important for the remainder of this week and next week. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:39 And the week after. The week after? No. We're just doing two today. No, no, no, no. I'm talking about his voice for the future. Musical weeks, yeah, because we're recording the next year or not. Not the character's voice, because the character speaks like that all the time.
Starting point is 00:11:57 You know, you could actually ask Chattu-T, what's a fun character to play? And it could tell you. Yeah. Yeah, but... My experience is it doesn't come back with anything great. But... Yeah, is that a concern for you that your product's a bit shit? Oh, absolutely, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:13 We have a trillion-dollar valuation. We are propping up the entire American economy right now. Yeah, yeah. It is smoking mirrors. It's essentially predictive text. You know, when you write a text and it guesses the word you're going to say, it's that multiplied. And not enough for a whole economy, no.
Starting point is 00:12:30 I saw Ben Affleck who played Batman. Oh, you did. So he said that there's a plateau about the efficacy, like the productivity of AI is already hitting a ceiling. Sure. So, like, people are using it a large. but the amount of that AI of like the output is being done for stuff that is not creating productivity.
Starting point is 00:12:56 Sure. Mostly just talking to it and trying to fuck it and stuff. Well, I kind of fucking sort my emails out. Well, I think what you're addressing here is the two paths that could happen. One path is we've reached our ceiling. The other path is the death of all man. Yeah. And I'm confident that we're able to.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Yeah, the death of all man is probably the one. It's an important factor in what you. in what you do. The collapse of the economy, because this is a fucking or the death of all man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Probably death of all men. Because the computer will work it out eventually. But I also love those ones that kick the kids.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Do you have anything to do with the... No, but I enjoyed that video because by all accounts, according to a lot of investigative journalists, I am a sociopath. Yeah, so I imagine when you see a video of a robot, can you hear that? I love that. I imagine your reaction to that is just like, yeah, that's funny. No, I'm more like...
Starting point is 00:13:46 And you don't laugh. I just, I don't even say that's funny. I just look at it. And I play it again. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then if someone's with me, I go, ah, ha, ha, ha. Does that make me a sociopath? Because I like it.
Starting point is 00:13:58 No, but I don't laugh. I've not laughed in years. Yeah, how come? Because I've seen the funniest thing in the world and it's you two boys. Oh, thank you so much. Sam and Mark. Thank you. But we're going to bring in your investor.
Starting point is 00:14:15 Sure. So this is... Do you have investors? Yeah, absolutely. We've had a number of investors other year. And this is probably my favorite investor. He has really pushed the company forward. He's not just a financial investor. He has also invested in a number of aspects of the product.
Starting point is 00:14:33 I'd like to introduce you to my favorite investor, Dr. Claw. I'll get you next time, Gadget. Thank you. So, Mark, speaking to you, I want you to pace yourself here. Yeah, well, Dr. Claw probably just needs a break now. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Do you have water? Do you need some water? I think I should have some. Wow. So Dr. Clare. Oh, there's some over there. Dr. Clyde is a character of Morix, is it?
Starting point is 00:15:01 Yeah. And I think it can only really, I don't want to push it because I don't want to lose his voice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, you know, if Dr. Claw needs to come in to kind of like. Oh, yeah, we do need Dr. Clare. You know, a light, maybe not light in the movie. but, you know, I've inspected gadget, you have to deal with Inspector Gadget much. Sure, yeah. Yeah. I've met Inspector Gadget a number of times. I met him at two different camp, sort of events who are for important people and once at the Met Gala.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Okay, so you met Inspector Gadget at the Met Gala. For those who are in the bracket below as far as age, Inspector Gadget is a detective. Oh, yeah. He's basically... I can already hear your voice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now, you might not be familiar with the cartoon, but you may be more familiar with the films where he was played by either Matthew Broderick or a French Stewart. Yeah, it's correct from Third Rock from the Sun.
Starting point is 00:16:00 But it's a detective, is he? He's like a private detective, I think. An inspector. An inspector. What's an inspector? That's a detective, right? Well, I don't know, he wears that kind of trench coat and he's got that hat and he's voiced by Get Smart.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Don Adams. Don Adams. Wow, what a power trio. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But most, I think you're leaving it the most important thing about Inspector Gadget, which is that he is... He's got robots everywhere. He's a mechanical man.
Starting point is 00:16:30 But, yeah, but I think he's a cyborg. He has the brain of a... I don't think his brain's mechanical. I think he... I think he is of the flesh. He was born of the flesh. Do you know it would be great as an Inspector Gadget movie with the Philist? philosophical themes of maybe like ghost in the shell or Inspector Gadget has replaced every part of
Starting point is 00:16:51 his body with a machine and he no longer knows if he's human. It's bicentennial man, but the other way. Yeah. Oh, sure. Yeah. But so inspect the get a grand order. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Inpector gadget has go go, go gadget equipment with him, which it makes him kind of similar to what you do, right? Because he essentially just says go go, go gadget arms. Sure. Yeah. And he will have long arms. His arms will extend.
Starting point is 00:17:19 Yeah, whereas I might do something where I say, I'd like to schedule for my next holiday and then it does something that looks like it makes sense until you're halfway through your holiday and you realize that. Oh, wait. Yeah. Yeah. These two places don't exist. But Go Go Go Gadget. We'll say Go Go Gadget helicopter and you'll have like blades come at the top of his hair.
Starting point is 00:17:38 And he'll helicopter around. Have you thought about changing the name of your company to Chat GGGG? Go Go Go Gadget. Yeah. Well, yeah, I mean, if he would be okay with that, I'd be very obligated. Because it's just, Briden's just pointed out something that is really fascinating to me, which is the similarities between Inspector Gadget and GoGoGat. Oh, sorry, ChatGipT is crazy because you say, basically you say GoGo Chat GPT,
Starting point is 00:18:07 do my email. Sure, yeah. And he says, Go GoGadget, Rocket Shoes, and then he'll fly about like an iron. type character. What will happen? Well, like his shoes, which I imagine are also mechanical. Attached to his feet at all the time. We'll sort of like open at the bottom and then there'll be like a small jet, small kind of jet there. I imagine the canisters. Yeah, he has a number of rocket fuel. He can also make thighs or shins. He can make large stilts from his shoes. Is that canon? Well, do we know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do we know how he became this man?
Starting point is 00:18:40 Um, a gadget man. A gadget man. Was he in some sort of, oh, no, I think he did. just sort of made the choice to be a gadget man. Tom, can you look up the etymology or not the not the etymology, but the origin story. I would love to know the etymology of gadget. We want the etymology of gadget and the origin story of go-go gadget, Tom, if we could. Thank you. Gadget. I'm going to guess a gadget has French origins. Okay. Gajé. Yeah. It's actually quite fascinating. I didn't know. He's actually a cyborg. Yeah, that's what I, I fucking said that and you both told me I was wrong. No, I did not. You did. I agreed with you. Inspector Gadget follows a clumsy, well-intentioned police detective
Starting point is 00:19:19 who after a tragic accident is transformed to... Slow down, slow down. We got so... You're working through so much. It works for the cops. So he is... Well, he's a detective, right? Well, yeah, but you can be a private investigator.
Starting point is 00:19:29 You can be a private detective. Did I just hear something? No, where are you reading this information? Nothing. I was just trying to find what Dr. Claus stands like. Where are you reading this gadget information? That's not what he sounds like. Can you play that again?
Starting point is 00:19:44 night. Dr. It's a cat. You can't play it from the movie. Dr. Claw. That's not Dr. Claw at all. Yeah, that's why Dr. Claw would never say Dr. Claw.
Starting point is 00:19:55 Just for my own research, I wanted to find it. Tom, where are you reading this information from? This is from a Google overview. AI overview. Fuck. I'm so sorry, Sam. From Google. Gemini.
Starting point is 00:20:09 I should go to Wikipedia instead. Demi. Use Duck, Duck, Go, bro. What? Use Duck Duck, Duck, Go. What's that? It's a search engine. You guys...
Starting point is 00:20:19 Doesn't use AI. Would you guys be happy to turn off any cameras facing me so I can't get my cock out? Why? Do you do that? Do you do that? Has that happened? No, no, I just thought it'd be fun to do it today. I thought it could be a later to add to the character.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Yeah, right. Is that... Well, like a couple of issues with that. It's one, people love seeing our video and we've made this beautiful set. Yeah. Two, Lucy's over there working and she's in charge of the cameras of issue. Three, I believe it's libelous to a real man. Oh, sure.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm going to say no to that. What if I make it very clear? The real Sam Altman has never done this. Then I'm okay with it. And I mean, get that big, meaty dick out. Yeah. We should Don May this and get a tour of Open AI.
Starting point is 00:21:05 That would be great. And a pizza. And one share. Keep going, Tom. He works for the cop, so he's a pig. Are we on Wikipedia now? Now I'm on Wiki. A gadget is a mechanical device or any ingenious article.
Starting point is 00:21:18 Gadgets are sometimes referred to as gizmos. No, I'm not asking for the definition of gadget. I'm asking for the analogy. I thought you want to know about gadget. But it's a fair point is gadgets are often, alternately, alt-man. Alt-man. Referred to as gizmos. Gizmos and gadgets.
Starting point is 00:21:34 You are the gizmo of gadget. I am gizmo man. You are, yeah, you're gizmo. I'm gizmo man. You are. man. If he's Inspector Gadget, you're Inspector Gizmo. Oh, yeah, I'm the Gizmo boy. Sam Altman is Inspector Gizmo boy. I'll get you, Gizmo, man. Oh, I love that. That's interesting, because I didn't know Inspector Clair would have an issue with the alternate.
Starting point is 00:21:57 He's a doctor, doctor. What did I say? Very much. You said Inspector. I just live in a world where everyone's an inspector. Yeah, fair enough. I reckon the Google AI thing was just pulled directly from Wikipedia anyway. Oh, yeah, that's all. Not a surprise. I got to be really clear with you. All we're doing is just taking from Reddit. Yeah. Well, he's just Reddit. Yeah. Gadget is a cyborg with thousands of high-tech gadget installed in his body, which he activates with the phrase go-go gadget before naming the device. Yeah. So how did he... Tom, you're asked two questions. One was the etymology of gadget.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Yeah. One was how Inspector Gadget formed. He did mention the accident. You told him to slow down, but other than that, could we get to those answers? But you started this, that whole bit with gadget, not Inspector Gadget. So I thought you were telling the... the etymology of Gadget when you were talking about a man called Inspector Gadget. Well, the etymology of the word is disputed, Braden. The word first appears as a reference to an 18th century tool in glassmaking. The etymology is part of Wikipedia for Gadget is really long. I'd like you to read it.
Starting point is 00:22:58 We've got nothing but time. A widely circulated story holds that the word gadget was invented when Gadget, Gathia and C, the company behind Rip-Pose, construction of the Statue of Liberty, made a small-scale version of the monument and named it after their firm. I actually have so many gadgets
Starting point is 00:23:19 in my hand, in my pants, in my shoes. Right, but... So it's come from a designer of a statue? Other sources cite a derivation from the French gachet, which has been applied to various pieces of a firing mechanism, or the French gaga, a small...
Starting point is 00:23:38 tool or accessory. A gaga. There's a lot of French stuff going on that I can't read. It seems to be French. Because the French built the Statue of Liberty as well. 30% of English is French. It was a gift. Because of the Norman invasion.
Starting point is 00:23:50 Hmm. Guys. What's the, can you look up now, the edamame of gadget? Yeah. If you could type into chat chvety. I don't have chat chit. Oh, okay. If you could type into Google AI.
Starting point is 00:24:03 What is the edamame of gadget? The edamame gadget usually refers to the popular a Mugent etymarme, endless soy bean keychain. Oh, nice. A sensory stress relief toy when squeezed a bean pops out, complete with cute facial expressions, and then slides back inside for endless satisfying repetition. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Slides back inside for satisfying repetition. A bean pops out when it's squeezed. Yeah. That just sounds like my cock. These addictive little fidget toys coming up. You have one giant sperm in the shape of a bead. Sorry. Sorry, Tom
Starting point is 00:24:39 This is the educational episode of the podcast of the month Yeah, I bet no one was coming into the Auntie Donner podcast thinking one
Starting point is 00:24:48 we'd have someone as smart as alternate man Sam on the You're not? No, no, no No, no Oh, you're just a hustler?
Starting point is 00:24:57 Yeah, yeah I don't know Yeah It's a sociopath who lies by all accounts Yeah, fucking hell
Starting point is 00:25:03 That fucking sucks And then but you know you learnt some shit. Well, I was saying something. I can't remember. Are you okay? How's your voice? Yeah, voice is feeling good, man. I mean, the twist here is this vocal fry isn't great for my voice. Yeah, no. Yeah, it's characters really bring it out of you, don't they? They take you to dark places. Like, Heath Ledger was killed by doing the Joker. Sure. Yeah, yeah. And I'm, am I concerned that maybe Chatsy BT is doing that to hundreds of thousands of people every day? Yeah. But they think it's their friend. But yeah, Heath Ledger locked himself.
Starting point is 00:25:38 in a hotel room and wrote in his journal as the joker. And then after, then two years later he died. Did a different, did it finish that project. Then he was working on another movie and then half a way. He died. Of an accidental drug off or dose. During the imaginarium of Dr. Parnassas. But Sam, your top five villains from Inspector Gadget go.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Sure. I got to go with Dr. Clair. He's number one. Oh yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah Yeah, also there's a dog and a girl What?
Starting point is 00:26:12 There's a dog and a girl In Inspector Gadgett Yeah, but they're not villains No, they're not No, but I just, I'm building out the world Because they're the first two of people I think of outside of Dr. Clair
Starting point is 00:26:21 And Inspector Gadgett I know she's not But I just, I feel like April O'Neal would just work in Inspector Gaget Oh yeah April, the reporter from Teenage Mutant She has an openness
Starting point is 00:26:30 She has an openness She has an openness She has an openness Work in that world Could I, could I up that statement? Yeah I think that April O'Neill has an openness, a warmth and a generosity of spirit that would make her work in most IPs.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Yeah, nice. I think you could put April O'Neill into almost any film and she'd make it work. That's because she's open A.O. Oh, shit. Nice. Shit, man. April O'Neill. Anyway, this is probably the last time you'll get to meet this character.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Do you have any last questions? Do you honestly, do you believe that? that this plateauing of productivity with the artificial intelligence industry is a common. Is it going to be sustained or is it a momentary lull before a huge uptick happens again? And how long will it take for that up? If so, how long will it take for that uptick to happen? And how profound a lot? Life changing, world changing.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Turtle. Moment. Oh, sorry. So I thought I was just trying to help you along. Turtle? Yeah, sorry. We're talking about April and Neil. Sorry, I thought that's where you were going with this.
Starting point is 00:27:55 Keep going. How profound a monumental... Sorry. Cake. Sorry. I'm just trying to help and I keep getting it wrong. I apologize. I'll just let you go.
Starting point is 00:28:07 I won't. If there is another uptick. Sure. How profound a coffee? Can you, can you? Was that not right? You weren't going to say coffee? Let me finish the sentence.
Starting point is 00:28:23 I'm trying to just help you along. If coffee was wrong, then I'm really off because I thought I got right that time. Let me just do us. Dois. Let me just do this right now. Great. If the AI plateauing. I'm sorry
Starting point is 00:28:41 I thought you were talking about the seven C's I thought you were talking about the AI crossing the seven C's Listen If the AI Plateaus Coffee Oh would you like a coffee
Starting point is 00:28:54 No I thought that's what he was going to say See I thought so too But then he fucking yells at me So then you're trying to help him with coffee And I think you're ordering a coffee See what he does to us It's unbelievable Fuck.
Starting point is 00:29:10 In answer to your question, Brod, and I'm really excited about the future of AI. I don't believe that it's going to lead to an apocalypse. I think it's, I think that it's just going to sort of happen for a bit. Thank you. I'm just going to move on to another grift. And another grift? And what do you think is the future of Inspector Gadget?
Starting point is 00:29:31 I think that... I hope he dies. That's your input. Dr. Claw? I depends on who owns it. inspector gadget. I'm sure it's owned by one of the huge multi-conglomerates. Thank you, Tom. Thank you, find out who my guess would be. It was paramount. And I think it's going to get, I can't, unless it's owned by one of the smaller companies, I think it's going to get
Starting point is 00:29:54 buried by bigger IP in the same way Disney buried Muppets. I think in its best world, I'd love to see it in a sort of late 2000s adult swim type revival where it's some great comedians take hold of it and um and do some fun stuff with it as a as a nostalgia piece yeah or just do something new why would you do something new no people don't see new things very good point why not do something that you've already seen yeah again because it reminds you of when you were younger yeah like my favorite tictox shots of melbourne um shopping centers and then you scroll across and you see how it was in 2007 oh those agree and then you look at the comments and say we've ruined with it's all shit now yeah it's all shit now and then you go well maybe you're
Starting point is 00:30:44 just the failure and when you look at forest hill shopping plaza from when you're in year 12 it makes you feel look at a simpler time but you don't have the introspection to all the you know self you know you're not you to realize that all with the exception so you think the shopping center should still have a fucking donut king where it I mean it wouldn't know but that wouldn't hurt, but it's not the cause of the... Oh, no, no, no. I can see that there's a broader social issues largely led by people like me,
Starting point is 00:31:16 but it wouldn't hurt if there was still a donut king at the Forest Hill shopping. And I'm not saying I don't know that that's not true. I'm using two words. Yeah, but you understand that. Forest Till is interchangeable with Northland, is interchangeable with High Point, is unchangeable. And Donut King is interchangeable with Michelle's Petissory
Starting point is 00:31:34 is interchangeable with Wendy's. longing for Michelle's participatory to return. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not yearning for that. I grew up in one. I stopped a burglary in one. There's always a, there's always a donut king. There's always a donut king. Thank you, Sam Altman for coming in.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Thank you. And to close us out, Tom, Tom Zaharu will be singing, to a track of his choice, will be singing about who owns the inspector gadget IP and what he thinks they will do with it, and also his opinion on what they should do with it. Thank you so much, Tom. I've been Sam Oldman. You'll never see this character again. Thank you.
