Starting point is 00:00:00 This is a Grousehouse podcast. Hello and welcome to the Zach podcast. My name is Zach. This is the first episode of the Zach podcast. Don't adjust your RSS feed. It is on the Auntie Donna RSS feed because I fucking own one third of it. If you didn't know, I have parted ways with the Auntie Donna podcast that will continue on with those other two guys.
Starting point is 00:00:31 No need to mention their names here. year. But I wanted to continue on. I wanted to keep doing what I do. I earned a third of this RSS feed. If you don't know what an RSS feed, it's basically the, how would you call it? It's like the podcast feed, I guess. It's the feed that goes into your Spotify, into your apples.
Starting point is 00:00:53 I own it. So I wasn't going to part ways with that. So if you miss last week's episode, I encourage you to listen to it. haven't listened to it, I refuse to. There's no ill will, but I refuse to listen to that podcast. Basically, uh, those guys will be doing two, two weeks of the Auntie Donna podcast. Uh, then I'll be doing one week of the Zach podcast. And that's how we're going to alternate it, um, for now. Um, yeah, let's let's let's talk. Let's, uh, I've got a title for this episode, Tom.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Yeah. It's my side of the story. Okay. Great. So, as you know, I have parted ways with, uh, with the Auntie Donna podcast. Uh, the reason for that is, um, I made a character a few months ago called Jack Dwayne. Uh, he was a sort of a caricature of, um, the people, the people that went to, that go to all boys schools.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Um, uh, uh. It was really designed in good fun. It was fun. It was a light sort of ribbing. And that character was a lot of fun, and I had a lot of fun playing him. I only intended to do him for a couple of episodes, but we were on a role. And the other two insisted that I kept doing it. I hit a point a few weeks in where I said, I think it's time to wrap this up.
Starting point is 00:02:30 It's time to wrap up with this bit. Move on. It's very popular. We were getting comments, you know, generational run, things like that on the, on the, on the, on the, on the, on the, on the, on attorney donna, the unofficial auntie donna reddit, uh, and I said, I think we should end on a high here. I think we should go out on a high here. But the guys insisted, let's keep going.
Starting point is 00:02:49 Let's keep going. Let's keep going. You've got this man. They love it. They love grand designs Batman. They love Angelina. They love and they love Jack Dwayne. Let's keep doing this.
Starting point is 00:03:00 I agreed. I agreed to keep doing it. And then, what do you know, the wolves turned, the audience turned, too much of a good thing. And you turned. And basically the guys, they sat me down. They sat me down maybe two, three weeks ago. And they said to me, listen, someone's going to have to take the fall for the two episodes that weren't as good as the other. ones or the one episode i think is when people really turned one or two yeah someone's going to have to take the fall you were the one that drove it with the jackdwayne character we're going to ask you to maybe take that hit um i said i'm not going to do that uh oh thanks lucy you can bring that in have you got any tape or anything like that yeah just pop that on there pop that on so if you're not watching the visual version of this um which will be on the patreon we haven't decided the split on the Patreon yet. Lucy's just changed the sign to the Zach podcast. So basically what happened? What happened was basically they sat me down. They said, Zach, you're going to take the hit. You're going
Starting point is 00:04:13 to take the fall. We need someone to. I said, I'm not going to do that. Not because I don't want to take the fall, because I'm not a liar. And they said, well, too bad, right? We're going to blame you. And I said, well, then you're going to blame me. And it all fell out. And that's fine. And I'm happy with that. I'm still on good terms of the guys, you know? I haven't talked to them since this all went down. But I think that's good. And I think what's good about this is I can be the real me. You know, I had to hold back who I was because of those motherfuckers. I had to hold back the truth of who I am. And now I can talk about my opinions on vaccinations. I can talk about my opinions on I'm MAGA.
Starting point is 00:04:57 I can talk about all those opinions. And that's, I'm not a vegan anymore. I eat meat now. And I've discovered Jesus. And I'm going to talk about all of those things here on the Zach podcast and more. And that's really exciting. Tom, thank you so much for sticking with me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:15 You know, the true test of friendship is in these hard times. And I really appreciate it. How are you feeling about this blob? This is dark stuff. These are dark days for the Aunty D, Aunty Donna podcast. I feel a bit like Avichie's manager. Okay, Tom, I don't understand that reference.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Sort of between a rock and a hard place on one end. You know, my main financial revenue is from the Auntie Donna podcast. And this feels like when I'm debuting that track at Tomorrowland in 2000. And I've got to keep the ship afloat for my own well-being, but I can also say that it's... That I'm not well? Is that what you're saying? I'm well, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Okay, I'm good. I went out with my cousins on the weekend and I've now, and they took me on a spiritual journey. I've seen things now that these guys, that the old guys would never understand and they wouldn't let me do. I'm going to still do characters, right? This isn't the Mission Zach podcast. That's where you get that side of me.
Starting point is 00:06:14 I'm still going to do characters. I'm still going to do goofs and gags. It's going to be funny. Just without those motherfuckers. Oh, he's in my fucking here trying to take me, make me. take the blame. Any request, Tom, Lucy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:32 I'd love to see a good character. Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. What kind of character? Maybe something in your, maybe you could do a bit of Frogman. The fans love Frogman. Okay, sure, Frogman. Well, actually, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:46 We haven't actually settled who Frogman belongs to yet. That he is tangled up with the Arnie Donna podcast. But this is a little character, a new character. A new character, you're going to love him just as much. There's a little character called Toad Boy. Hello. Hello. Hello, I'm a little Toad.
Starting point is 00:07:04 How are you today? I'm a little Toad and I'm from Sydney. I own an expensive apartment with a view of the bridge. But there's another apartment building going up in front of my building. and I'm mad about it. I would much rather live in a muddy little pond, but now the value of my place is going down. That was Toad Boy.
Starting point is 00:07:34 And can we talk about Albo's new tax? I, this, what, Albo, I'm looking at you, mate. All right. I'm just going to get out my phone here. We're having fun. We're having fun here. And that's what's important. important is we're having fun here.
Starting point is 00:07:56 I can do it without those guys. I don't need them. I'm going to get out my phone. And I'm just going to get some of my favorite Bible verses. Gets a great Bible verses. Finally, I can show that side of me. These motherfuckers didn't let me do. About what?
Starting point is 00:08:22 What topic do you reckon, Tom? Maybe about like forgiveness. Why would that be a topic? Because I think we want the audience to forgive you for Jack Dwayne. I didn't, Jack Dwayne, they loved Jack Dwayne. Some people were, yeah, I'll tell you who didn't love Jack Dwayne, the money deletes. And this is why I think those guys, I don't, I didn't want to say this, okay, I didn't want to say this.
Starting point is 00:08:45 But I have information. I have received a number of emails from people I don't want to name, telegram messages, anonymous messages from people that I need to protect their identity. I won't be giving all of that away today. A number of messages that tell me that Mark and Broden were in the pocket of private school boys, private school girls, the entire single gender school apparatus. If you look at when people loved Jack Dwayne as a character, they loved him. But you look at when the comments started turning on Reddit that started on Reddit that started
Starting point is 00:09:33 on Reddit on social media. A lot of the accounts that were against the character, against the podcast, didn't have anyone else following them. It is my belief. It is my belief that the same people that turned Mark and Broden against me are the same people that turned the community against my Jack Duane character. There are a lot of people that want to protect places like Skev's. There are wealthy people, wealthy, you know their names.
Starting point is 00:10:00 You see their names on the trucks. You see their names on the people like Lindsay Fox. I'm going to name names. People like Lindsay Fox. People like, we're going to go to an app break. When we come back, I'm going to name names. The people that are paying off. Mark and Broden
Starting point is 00:10:19 in order to protect single gender schools. Welcome back. As you know, this is the Zach podcast. As you know, a lot of people, there has been a turn.
Starting point is 00:10:33 I came for single gender schools, specifically boys that went to them. And everything has gone sour. I've lost my podcast. I've lost my best friends in Mark and Broden. And they've turned on me. is because I believe that Lindsay Fox and Dan Andrews, Lindsay Fox, Dan Andrews,
Starting point is 00:10:57 I believe they are paying Mark and Broden, they are paying for a grassroots campaign. I have tried to reach out to Mark and Broden. I don't think they're safe. I think their purpose has been served now, and I think we have to be very careful now because I'm worried about their safety and I said that to them. I'm worried about their safety.
Starting point is 00:11:23 I don't trust anything that's happening on this podcast or anything else and I'm worried. I'm really worried about that. On top of that, I believe quite confidently that my life is in danger because I spoke out against St. Kevin's. I believe that a number of faculties. at St Kevin's are trying to kill me because they can't imagine a world where boys and girls go to school together
Starting point is 00:11:59 and they will do anything to stop that. That's why I'm here to say. That's why I've left the Auntie Donna podcast. I couldn't in all good conscience work for a group of people that are in the in the pocket of single gender school people. Tom, I want to always. thank you for sticking with me here. I mean, it's more of a contractual thing.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. All right, let's pull up the news, Tom. What are we got in the news? You want me to pull up the news? Yeah, pull up the news for me, buddy. Okay. And I'm going to find a couple of my favorite Bible quotes.
Starting point is 00:12:39 You were saying about forgiveness? Yep. Forgiveness would be good. All right, here's some of my favorite Bible verses. Welcome, everybody. The Lord is slow to anger and a better. bounding in steadfast love, forgiving inequity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the inequity of the fathers onto the children to the third and
Starting point is 00:13:06 the fourth generation. Well, that's great. I think he's saying there that the guilt lasts for generations. That's awesome. We're getting some good Old Testament shit here. Yeah, that's sick. Mark and Broden, listen to me here. For generations, you will be good.
Starting point is 00:13:26 for betraying me. See, we're still having fun. Tom, play some funny sounds. Some funny sounds. Come on, mate. Okay, all right. Sound effects. Oh, that's funny.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Play that again? See, these are funny sounds. That's a funny sound right there. Who says I can't be funny? Tom's playing all the funny sounds. No, that, not that one again. No, no, no, no farts. Well, that's great.
Starting point is 00:13:58 That was like a little creature laughing. Okay, that's enough funny sounds. Tom, what are we going to do? There's a news article here about Madonna. No, bigger than that, mate. Bigger than that? This is big stuff here. I'm on my own.
Starting point is 00:14:19 It's hard without any friends. Here's something for you that I think you'd like. Top economist warns mortgage holders. the error of cheap credit is now over, mate. Okay. Australian mortgage holders are being warned the error of cheap credit is gone for good, with interest rates set to remain permanently higher
Starting point is 00:14:39 in a post-COVID world. Oh, sure, sure, sure. Okay. Well, yeah, you know, that's no good. I thought you'd refund it or something. I don't know. Well, no, no, no, I got no opinions on that. Yeah, sure, sure.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Seen any good movies, Tom? Uh, I, oh, you know, I did actually watch a movie. Trying to remember what it was. Oh, I watched, um, Knives Out and the Glass Onion. Oh, what did you think? I quite liked them. Yeah, good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:10 He's a good character. Yeah, I think it's interesting how there's so many celebrity cameos in it because I could see why Daniel Craig would want to do it. But it's pretty crazy how many like other celebs will sign up for just like a sort of fun, silly film. You know, it's a few days of shooting. It's a great script. you get to play a character. How often do actors get to do that now?
Starting point is 00:15:30 Particularly the big ones, they're always playing superheroes zapping about. I think it would be a great opportunity to do something interesting. But isn't like Edward Norton, like, you know, famously like picky over roles and got offered the Matrix, I think, and said no and, you know? Yeah, but, you know, everyone wants to be, but you get to play with some great actors, get a fun script. What do you think I need to do to get back into the good graces of Mark and Broden? I think you could start with an apology. And what would I be apologising for? I guess for like tanking the numbers of the Auntie Dunner podcast.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Because of the Jack Dwayne. Yeah, for like the nine weeks of Jack Dwayne. It was good until the very end. Oh, it was very good. There's only the last two or three. The episode where you did the PowerPoint is one of my all-time faves, I reckon. Yeah. But like the last two were tough, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:27 Yeah, that were pretty tough. And you knew? I knew, yeah, yeah. You referenced it several times during the episodes. Hmm. So I've got to say sorry? Potentially, yeah. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Gee whiz. So, sorry, Broden's just off camera. What are you saying, bro? A written apology. Gee whiz, I feel like Chad Gay-wis. I feel like Chad Gable doing his apology to her to the luchadors. Am I right, Broden? Broden?
Starting point is 00:17:04 Broden? You know how he's going around apologising to all the luchadors right now? Yeah. Yeah. Thank you for the funny sound time. Lucy, could I get some pen and paper, please? Thank you. I'll be writing a written apology now.
Starting point is 00:17:22 But I'd like you to print these out if that's possible. We don't have a printer here. I just sit over to office works. All right. Okay, here we go. I'm going to write a written apology to Brodner-Mark. Dearest Brodard and Mark, as I sit here on this cold June day, yes, it's cold in June in the southern hemisphere.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Ha-ha. I think to myself what I could have done better, how I could have. have been a better part of the familia. And I wonder if maybe I pushed it a little far with Jack Dwayne. Or maybe if you guys had fucking backed it, we could have gone on for even many more months of great numbers and success. This is the thing. If you guys had fucking backed me in this choice,
Starting point is 00:18:23 we could have done Dwayne for years. That was my original intention, was to do Jack Dwayne forever and ever and slowly soften him so that eventually he just became Zach. As you can tell, the voice had gone by that episode. What I wanted it, I wanted it to be a Royan-H-G type situation, you understand? I told you all of this, where I'd be playing Jack Dwayne, I'd be wearing the wig,
Starting point is 00:18:50 but it would just be Zach. But I understand that it got bad, really bad, and it was my fault. I guess what I was saying before was me trying to illustrate vaguely, kind of get across the idea that I, what I was thinking, what was going through my head and why I pushed it so far. But I know now that I'm an idiot. Boys, if you don't let me back on the podcast, I'll kill you both. Now I'm going to write some in Spanish. I'm going to say some Spanish for you.
Starting point is 00:19:28 And I'm not very good at Spanish. I'm not even at A1 yet. So it might not be very good. I like the podcast of Antidonna. It's a very good podcast. Very, my, very, very good podcast. Broden, you is very great and high.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Mark, two is agredables full stop is for a dad that means it's true and then just sack at the bottom do you think that will
Starting point is 00:20:25 help I think it could help what's your plan is this to just print it off and give it to them or well yeah what I'm hoping is when they start the next episode yeah they'll come in and they'll see two
Starting point is 00:20:36 they'll see two they'll see a piece of paper and they'll go what's this and then they'll read it and they'll see my heartfelt apology and then i'll come back i'll i'll be hiding i'll be hiding behind my chair okay and when they and when they realize how horrible they've been to me because of my heartfelt apology i'll pop up from behind my chair and say boys we're getting the band back on the road. They'll invite me back onto the podcast.
Starting point is 00:21:14 I'll sit back down here in my seat and then we'll act as though nothing has happened. Is this a good plan? Yeah, that's pretty good. Because what I really hope is that I don't have to do this on my own again. Has it been tough? It's been hard, yeah. I think particularly because I love my boys. And I think I really realized I thought,
Starting point is 00:21:37 I thought, you know, I thought I could do it on my own. I thought I could go out and do the Zach podcast. And I'm seeing now maybe I was a little too, a little too quick to that. And I think that's, if anyone listening here, maybe you want to have a fight with your two podcast partners and you want to start your own podcast every once every three weeks on the same RSS feed. You know, I think that's a relatively relatable thing. and I think that if you're feeling that, you're at home right now, you're listening or you're on the bus, listening on your headphones or in your car maybe and you're going, oh, that's
Starting point is 00:22:17 it. I'm going to follow Zach's lead. I'm going to go do this. I'd say, hold, breathe, think about it. I've said some really very litigious things on this episode. Things that Broden, if he was sitting next to me, would have just said, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. and like covered with a joke. But without that guidance,
Starting point is 00:22:37 I've set myself up for millions, if not billions of dollars worth of lawsuits. And it's not like I can use the parody excuse because everything I've said is true. Everything I've said is 100% true. And it is my belief. I have emails from a number of people telling me this. And I don't think I'm going to drop that
Starting point is 00:23:04 when I joined the podcast next week, when they welcome me back with open arms. I'm going to keep speaking my truth, your truth, our truth. And I'm going to, I'm going to make sure that we get to the bottom of it. But I hope I can do it with my best friends by my side. Is there any questions from Tom or Lucy? You've got about three to four minutes left. No, that's fine. Let's close it out with the song, with the hymn or something.
Starting point is 00:23:33 With a song, with a hymn. No, not a hymn. It feels a little disrespectful. I got to be honest, when I started doing the Bible quotes, I didn't feel good about it. You know, that's a very important thing to a lot of people. But what I'm going to do now is I'm going to sing a song. What song would you, what song would you like me to sing?
Starting point is 00:23:55 Let's sing, knocking on heaven's door. Okay. You want a karaoke of that? Yeah, thank you so much. The Bob Dylan version. Okay. Oh, that's fun. Oh, someone's here.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Come on in. Who was that? Someone just opened the door. I've got to start locking it, hey. Oh, that's all right. Was it Mark? Was it Mark? Let's find out.
Starting point is 00:24:19 No, we don't know. All right. Oh, Sam, come on in. Would you like, come take a seat, Sam? Take a seat. Welcome to the Zach podcast. This is Sam Lingam. If you don't know Sam Lingam, he is a rider.
Starting point is 00:24:34 He's the head writer of Auntie Donna. Bobby T. could save this. Bobby T. Now, I don't know if you know this, but I left the Auntie Donner podcast, but I've maintained the one-third of the RSS feed. Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:47 But I am going to seek their forgiveness. Okay. The reason I left is because Broden and Mark have been bought out by Lindsay Fox, Daniel Andrews. Yeah. In order to, because they're trying to protect single gender schools. They have a problem with my character.
Starting point is 00:25:06 Yeah, they have a problem with my character, Jack Dwayne. Yep. And they have a strong belief that boys and girls shouldn't go to school together. Because of that, I believe my life is in danger. And I believe that they have bought out my friends, Mark and Broden. Okay. I believe your life is in danger now that you have sat here and endorsed my views. But I just want you to know that thank you for backing me in these opinions.
Starting point is 00:25:36 Daniel Andrews and Lindsay Fox are trying to kill me and they are paying people off in order to make sure boys and girls don't go to school together and I and that's the truth it's not parody that's the truth yeah that's true and you're just saying that you're like okay I've got concerns about the um I guess like the one third of the RSS feed like how does that stand like how do you defend that in court does that what do you mean it's there's the truth in libel if you've got the truth and I have a number of anonymous emails that have given me this information that they're trying to kill you yeah have you is there any evidence they're trying to kill you like I have a
Starting point is 00:26:22 number of anonymous emails but has anyone tried to kill you what like has anyone actually like at any point have you believe so yeah I believe my life is in danger. No, but how, though? I believe that there have been a number. I believe that I'm being followed. I believe that they have tried to poison my food. Poison, where?
Starting point is 00:26:43 Just the slow poisoning, like in six cents with that little girl. And they're getting to you, how are they getting to your food? They have ways. They have, they have a control of the food system. Of the whole food system and they're able to slowly poison people. Sam. Podcast's over, but I'd like to sing a song for you. Okay. Can you tell me when it comes?
Starting point is 00:27:02 come in on it. Sure. Yeah. Because I can't see that I'm not looking at the karaoke here. I think, yeah, yeah, that's right, Zach. This is a long song. Mama take, is that right? No, more ooze, I think.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Yeah. Yeah, let me know when it's mama. I can't use it anymore. Oh, wait, no, go back. Go back? So I believe that, is my belief that, that, that, that, that, that, uh, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, Tom deliberately sabotaged me just then. What that?
Starting point is 00:27:51 He didn't cue me in at the correct time in order to make me look like a fool. You don't think it's your fault? I mean, you've, I've done you a while and you've never had really great music timing. This has been... insist on singing songs. I'm Zachary Rewain here today. My name is Zachary Wayne. This has been the Zachary Wayne podcast.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Maybe the last one, because I believe I will. be dead by next week. If not, I'll be back on the Auntie Donna podcast. We're ready to go with some of your favorite characters. Frogman. Thank you so much for joining me. Sam, thank you for joining me and endorsing all of my views.
Starting point is 00:28:33 I'm sure what's going on. See you next week, everybody. Antidonna. You've been listening to the Auntie Donna podcast. Thanks for joining us for another Ripper episode brought to you by Auntie Donner Club.com. See you next week. Welcome to the future.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Thank you.
