This is a Grouse House podcast.
Hi, everybody.
Welcome.
Welcome to the Auntie Donna podcast.
Now, we promised you something last week.
Last week, we promised that we would be getting an Irish priest on.
Um, fun Irish priest with a fun Irish accent.
Uh, he was investigating just to catch you all up if you are just joining us this week for the first time.
Brodyn's chair burnt in a miraculous event, um, similar to the burning bush of the Moses story.
Uh, nothing around it burnt.
Uh, I heard it talk.
Uh, it spokeeth to me.
Mark touched the flame and it did not burn him.
It was not hype.
It was not hype.
We talked about no such thing as fish for a bit.
We did talk about no such thing as fish for a tiny little bit.
Broden has now taken a chair from the Mell and Sam podcast.
Which is a young podcast hosted by two people talking about music theatre and the, what is it, Tom?
Oh, sorts of stuff, really?
Pop culture.
Yeah, they really like Ariana Grande.
Yeah, that kind of stuff.
And that's on Tom's Grass House Network, of which we are the Crown Jewel.
Anyway, where's the priest, Zach?
So you were probably expecting to hear a fun priest with a fun accent.
Maybe you thought it would be a character, something like that.
I looked him up.
He seemed like he'd been a priest for a really long time.
I was excited to get, you know, stuck into the reads of whether or not Zach's lie to his God was going to
result in him going to hell and being punished, which I think it should, should, should happen and
that was unrelated.
But like, but to get, yeah, to get that from a, from a priest, like the hot source.
Well, that would have been fun.
The main reason, that's not why we brought him on though.
But it was one off.
It was one off.
It was one of.
I don't know if you, I mean, God, I have to explain this to the audience now.
No, no, no, no, no.
The flammable.
People are aware that coats swamable.
I never, I never sealed the deal.
Broden spilled a Coke and this guy.
So where is he?
Well, he bidded so many parishes.
I wanted to hear about his time and all these different parishes.
Yeah, they kept moving him around.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that, water bowl, hot.
I just kept moving.
I was, I wanted to hear his stories.
So you get to see such a wide scope of Victoria when you move around that much.
Yeah.
You must have been great.
Three, four months in each parish.
Where is he?
They got rid of, moved him on.
Moved him on.
Where is he?
I'll tell you where he is.
We brought him in.
He investigated for a full week, the burning chair.
Because he's, because we were unsure.
if the chair was the god speaking to me or whether it was the devil.
Or the flammable Coke.
Or the flammable Coke or all three.
Or even celestial, maybe.
He said quite early on he couldn't help with the flammable Coke stuff.
Force.
He could just say.
So we had him on.
He was here most of the week he'd be coming in for a few hours every day.
He was working on it.
He agreed to come on the podcast that he would reveal his findings on the podcast.
All of that was discussed.
We have the emails.
At no point did he talk about a charge
that he would be charging us for this.
He's a priest.
Two days ago we go,
hey, just want to double check.
He's still good for the podcast.
He sends us an itemized invoice,
receipt and invoice,
wants to charge us for the hours it took,
charging us for the investigation,
plus the appearance,
plus the like reveal is its own thing.
He wanted to charge us something like,
I think,
$76.
But he said it was a donation to the church.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He wanted a $76 donation, not even to the church, to one of their charitable
arms.
I was going to say which church?
Because you went to so many churches.
Ballarat.
Horsham.
Ararat.
All over the place.
It was sort of like a charity to help homeless people.
Right.
And he said, just this, if you can make this donation to the charities,
I'll come on.
and we said, excuse me?
And I'm hearing this all secondhand, right?
Because I, you've been running this.
You've been running point.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah.
I've been an email guy.
I have ced you in to most of them,
except where I was bad-mouthing you.
Okay.
I was B-CCed on everything.
Oh, but I don't know.
Yeah, you wouldn't know.
Blind carbon copy.
We're not having him on.
We're not going to have him on.
That's really pissed me off, Zach, that he did that.
Yeah.
I thought a priest would want for nothing.
That's what he told me.
said, I want for nothing.
And yet when he sent this in $76 for my charity of choice.
I want to hear his story.
Stories.
Yeah.
He'd been in Wangarada.
He'd been in Aubrey Wadonga.
He'd been moved around up in New South Wales.
You know what?
That's really pissed me off, Zach.
Yeah.
He was at his first parish for a really long time.
And then the next, every sting he did after that,
it got shorter and shorter and shorter.
And then the last one he's at was another long.
He was the head of church.
They sent him to the third world.
Yeah.
They said that he came back.
send him to South America and then the Philippines and he's been fine.
Yeah, yeah.
He's still working.
He's still there.
But that's pissed me off.
I'm going to find, I'm going to find the actual email for the Catholic Church in Melbourne.
And we're going to email them right now because I don't like that they've spoken to you like that.
Is it just Catholic atchurch?
Oh, look it up.
No.
I'm going to look it up right now.
Maybe it's try Catholic church.
Because no one talks to my friend Zach like.
No, no.
There we go.
So what have I got here?
No, bro.
Find a parish.
I don't feel comfortable emailing the Catholic Church.
No, because I'm going to give them a peace of my mind.
Yeah, but the Catholic Church is the worst thing I've ever heard of them doing.
Maybe a trope.
No, they've done worse things, Brodham.
But I think the Catholic Church is very important to a lot of people.
And I'm not keen on that idea.
If you're emailing the Catholic Church, are you emailing God?
No, you're probably emailing like an old sister that comes in every second Tuesday.
I'm going to give her a peace of my fucking mind.
No, Broan, could we not do that?
Oh, can we not do it, please?
God would probably be reading.
Can I just write a draft?
Because that's, you know, like my therapy, write a letter.
All right, I lied.
What?
What are you lying about?
Mark, we've got to tell him the truth.
All right.
The truth is, is that Zach lied to his God because he said that he was going to get rid of his chair.
I said I was going to get rid of my chair and then you cut me off.
So before we sealed the deal was still a lie.
And Mark also.
lied.
I.
Because he said he was going to give you $5.
No,
you said you were going to give us both $5.
He said he was going to give you $5.
Just let me jump in for a second.
Yeah.
If you have no idea what the fuck we're talking about,
jump back two to three episodes for another classic episode of the
Arnie Donner podcast and everything will make sense.
Yeah.
So.
Well,
you know this is a,
this is linear storytelling that we're doing.
So you need to listen to all the podcasts in a row.
You can't just fucking jump in at 526.
You can come in in different eras.
If you want to start at the hot media era,
you'll probably be okay.
Still the hot media era?
Yeah.
Bro.
No, what did you lie about,
what did you lie?
What are you talking about?
You told me that my couch,
that I sit on every episode,
burned down in a fire.
That happened.
That happened.
That's not what we're talking about.
Zach, come on, we got to tell him.
I,
I could see the couch over there, fine.
That's Mark's one.
That's my one.
But what's the other one?
That's a spare.
That's the spare chair that we have.
We got a spare?
Yeah, we get four in case one burns down.
So why didn't I have the spare for us?
We forgot.
We forgot about this spare chair.
Yeah.
We bought it so long ago.
We just got it so long ago.
It's been in storage.
I forgot that we have four chairs.
Yeah.
But we always have a spare one in case something like crazy happens.
Like, yeah, some like a fire.
I didn't bring in the priest.
Which I'm so pissed off about
You know what?
I'm going to send an email
No Broden there was no priest
There was never a priest
Huh?
Because I know for a fact
That that message was from God
Zach I was about to email an old
Nunn and give her a peace of my mind
Well you don't have to
Because now is the time
I was going to send a veil death threat
What God spokeeth to me
This is heavy man
So does that chair have a seatbelt
What?
This is just strap in
Because this is crazy
Why would a little couch
Have a seatbelt?
I don't know, I was asking
I've never sat in that chair before
Maybe it has a seatbelt
Does your chair have a seatbelt?
Of course not
Yeah, so what the fuck man
Does your chair have forks?
What are you talking about?
Well, I don't know, I've never sat in a chair
With that chair
With that with fours?
Your chairs usually have forks?
I've never sat in that chair
Have you ever sat in a chair with forks?
Have you ever sat in it?
No, I've not sat in a chair.
Have you ever sat in a chair that has a seat belt?
I've sat in a seat.
Yeah.
A car seat, not a chair.
No, that's a chair.
Is a seat, is a chair?
A car seat's a chair?
It's a chair.
Tom, can we get on Wiki thanks?
Put the Wiki music on.
Seat, chair?
Sure.
It's a difference.
What do you, oh wait, are we talking about the difference between a chair and a seat?
Yeah.
They're both for sitting.
Do you know, in my Spanish learning, I had to like dig deep into this myself because I didn't know the difference between
Asieto and Sidia.
and I can tell you the difference.
Well, no, Tom's in charge of that.
But can I guess?
Sure.
Because I just looked this up like three days ago.
This is great for the no such thing as fish episode.
So the difference is a chair is a very specific thing, right?
It's a very specific thing.
You can imagine a chair.
A chair is different to a couch is different to something else.
To a seat.
A seat.
No, a chair is a seat.
A chair is a seat.
Seat is anything on which you sit.
So a couch.
is a seat. The seat is a part of a chair, a part of a couch, a part of the...
I've lost interest, I don't know.
That's correct, though.
Zach Spangler.
Thank you.
All I'm saying is if you told me to get in the car chair, I'd know exactly what you were
talking about.
When we come back, I will be revealing.
When we come back...
Of course I would, but I'd know what you were talking about.
When we come back from the ad break, I will be revealing what God spokeeth to me
through the, through his appearance.
Strap in.
I've never heard a better reason to come to wait through a
add get out of your chair and get into a seat with a seatbelt because this is unless your chair
has a seat once i'm in that seat do i strap in yes if you want well i don't even think about it
when i get in a car unless you want to get whiplash which is a great movie not my tempo
as in you don't like it or is that just a quote do you know for a fact do you want to know my story
about whiplash i watched whiplash and do you know my first thought after whipmash
I got to tell Broden about this movie.
Yeah, well.
And then he told me and I saw it and I enjoyed it.
I actually borrowed it on DVD.
Yeah.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back.
Now, welcome back.
A few weeks ago, God appeared to me in the form of Broden's chair, which caught on fire.
I was there.
Mark could not hear the words spoken.
He heard the words as a foreign tongue, but I understood them.
foreign tungsten?
What?
Mark, touch the flame of the burning chair.
And it did not produce heat.
Tungsten?
Yeah, the element.
Oh, yeah.
The burning chair smoketh to me.
And what it said shocked me to my core.
Did you mention I touch the flames, it didn't burn?
Mm-hmm.
When?
Before, just before, but you're talking about tungsten.
Atomic number 74.
Sorry, sorry.
blanked out. Do you know the symbol for tungsten?
Can I not to set what God spoke it to me?
It is sect. Do you know the symbol for tungstons?
TG, isn't it?
T.
No?
T.N.
No?
It's one of those fucking stupid ones like, you know.
Y. T.
Oh, is it a Z one?
W.
Oh, wow.
God said unto me, he said that at 700 beat,
A.D.
The lineage from the disciples,
through the popes was broken through some sort of political mechanations.
He explained to me that the Catholic Church is not the real church,
but rather the true lineage of the disciples was to me.
What?
He said that I am the true Pope,
the leader of the true Catholic Church,
and then his last act before the chair fully burnt away
was he sent a little bit of flame into my brain,
and now I hear the voice of the voice of the church,
Now I hear the voice of God every day.
I am the only true voice of God and he told me these things.
One, I am the new Pope.
Two, Auntie Donna is the only true Catholic Church.
Wow.
Three, the new mass is not defined by two or more being gathered in his name.
It is defined by this podcast.
This is the only true mass of God.
Sick.
three, I have the ability to baptize all into my faith and I will be baptizing the two of you.
Jesus Christ.
Beautiful.
Five.
Yeah.
Five.
I am allowed to take as many wives as I wish.
Of course.
Of course, that's fine.
Hey, is that all of them?
Ah, there's more about we can get to them later.
If you're speaking directly to God, as you so say, could you make coffees appear like that?
Yes, I can.
Could.
Tom, go open that door, brother.
What do you mean?
Tom's going to go open that door now.
You really spoke to God?
That's not what you told me when you first spoke to God.
Jesus.
The chair burnt.
He told me that at the time to tell you would come.
Because you told me that he said, all he said to you was, hey, get in quick because the
Linckraft in Northcote Plaza is closing down.
So if you want any long bits of fabric, get in there now because it's shutting down.
He did say that as well.
He said that as well?
He said that as well?
number four.
He said that as well.
Linkraft shutting down.
That's what God reckons.
Linkraft.
Yeah.
All Lingrafts will shut down in two weeks because of a shocking news event.
That's what he said to me.
And that will be proven correct in the next two weeks.
And where am I going to get my long rolls of fabric from?
You can still go to spotlight.
Oh my God.
The coffees are here from God.
From God.
Thank you, Lucy.
Wow.
Hey, Zach.
And those listening to the.
Auntie Donna podcast. Thank you, Lucy. You have, by sticking true with us for 530 odd shit
podcasts, you are now being rewarded because this is the one true path to God, the Auntie
Donner podcast. I'm going to say, you two, I've decided our saints in this life. We're saints.
No, I go for the D's. Nice. Maybe you're thinking of Tom DeConing. No, I'm saying you are St. Broder.
And you are St. Mark?
You're not thinking of Callum Wilkie?
Broden, you sit to my right hand because you are my true prophet and my disciple.
Can I change my name if I'm a saint?
Hmm?
I don't want to be St. Mark.
Yes, take a new name.
Can I be St. Houdini?
Yes, you can.
Mark, Broden, would you like to change your name?
No, you're right the first time.
I would like to be called St. Mark.
Nice.
You are St. Mark.
We used to perform at St.
Hedini.
What?
Remember when we used to perform at St.
No, I never performed their mark.
No?
No.
And I'd like Tom to be called Mark 2.
St. Mark 2?
Can I talk to you, Pope Zach?
Yes.
Well, I'll be changing my name as well.
To what?
I haven't decided yet.
Well, Pope, Zach for the meantime.
Should we just address that this is fucking crazy?
I did.
I did.
All right.
Not crazy.
I wasn't listening.
I did.
Just that it's unbelievable that this has happened on a comedy podcast.
That we started in 2016
And we started, I thought it was going to be like a peek behind the curtain
Because sometimes the funniest stuff we do
Doesn't make it into the sketches or the live shows
It's just us riffing
That's what I thought
Riff Riff Raff from Rocky Horror
Mm-hmm, mm-hmm
Ruff had created
What?
I remember doing the time warp
Oh yeah, great song
I sung that in
When I was in Year 12
Anyway, I just wanted to just, just earmark that.
Yes.
St. Mark.
Yes.
What was your name?
San Houdini?
San Houdini.
I just, that this is like probably the craziest thing that's ever happened to me in my, in my, in my crap.
What about that time we went on Craig Ferguson's Sirius XM radio?
That's number two.
We went to his mansion in L.A.
Yeah.
And went into his.
outhouse where he was doing a live
radio show.
Yeah.
And we met one of my favorite fucking
Tonight show hosts and he had
the skeleton in there.
Yeah.
And he told us
Tim and Eric aren't really that close friends
in real life.
I don't remember that, but that checks out.
But yeah, that's fine.
I don't think that's a bad thing.
He said it was a shame.
That's crazy because we're best friends.
I know.
Outside of this, we have movie nights.
Thank you, Pope Zach.
But no, so this is
crazier than that for you?
Uh, yeah, but it's a close.
To be clear, I'm not crazy.
This situation is crazy, but I'm not crazy about.
I'm not crazy.
No, it's just nuts that it's happened, that this is where it's happened.
I thought it would happen on like a mountaintop, you know,
with some sort of like people who believe in God and shit, um, or something.
I don't know.
I, this is what I wanted to talk to Pope Zach about is I feel conflicted.
I, I hold anger and, and fury in my heart, Pope Zach.
We can all feel confusion at times.
This is a lot of news.
Can I tell you why?
Yeah, yeah.
I feel lied to by churches that I've grown up with my entire life.
In particular, the Melbourne Catholic Church.
And I feel a want to pick up my phone and email.
You can't, don't email the church.
Don't email the church.
They've lied to me.
They're a false prophet.
Why would you email them, Brodyn?
Because I'll be like, listen, you fucking idiots.
Because, but then you're, they're not even the church.
Are you going to do it from your work email or from your personal email?
My work, they're not even the real church.
About 800 years ago, I mean, at 1,200 years ago, there was a, there was, the lineage is wrong.
Pope Zach, is there a problem with me just in case, emailing them with fury and anger?
Yes.
Like the local Salvation Army.
Broden.
I'll listen to your Pope.
Broden.
Mark, I'm Pope, I'm St. Mark, please.
I'm St. Houdini.
And I'm Pope Leo the 4th.
Okay, Pope Leo the 4th.
Okay.
Pope Leo the fourth. And I know what you're thinking. That guy was, he wasn't a real Pope Leo the
fourth. But I think a lot of people probably think there were, you know, nearly a dozen Pope Leo's.
No, there was only three. The rest were interlopers. So how many wives you're going to take?
Really? Hmm? How many wives you're going to take Pope Leo the fourth? That is a burden I do not wish to
think of. Wait a second. The other people were interlopers. Your Pope Leon. Leo. Leo, Leo the lion,
eat interlopers, they turn into the grass,
and then when the lions die, they become the grass,
and thus is the circle of life.
Can I just discover the meaning alive?
St. Houdini, that is beautiful.
St. Houdini is a great storyteller.
He takes the learnings,
and he takes what I speak,
and he speaks it in a way that the children can understand.
Not always, but just when I'm having a good day.
It's a beautiful.
That is not the official word of God.
I'm the only one that has that.
It's as close as you can get, though.
So what are you going to do, Pope?
Yeah, what's your vibe?
What are you going to fucking do with all this?
I don't know.
All these wives.
Fuck, motherfucker shit.
I don't have, I'm not taking wives yet.
I've got to get my fucking ducks in the road.
Well, I have to.
It's a responsibility.
Is it?
I have to.
How many popes have had, um,
there hasn't been that many popes.
It was only like 800 years of popes.
And then the lineage was.
But I have to, because if I don't have lots of kids,
um,
you have to go to Costco.
You have to think about that?
Yeah,
because everything in bulk.
Yeah, you got to get,
if you've got that many kids,
you'd get one big mayonnaise
and that'll sort you out for a couple weeks.
Yeah.
If you're just joining us,
this lighthearted comedy podcast where,
and we can keep a lighthearted.
If you make a mayonnaise sandwiches.
Sorry,
if you're just joining us,
bro.
I mean,
who's making just,
mayonnaise sandwiches would be freaks you love.
As if that's not a thing you wouldn't do.
I'm on to you with your mayonnaise.
Me?
Yeah, you're such a...
Yeah, I'm fucking on to you.
What have I done with the mayonnaise?
I think I could get around a mayonnaise sandwich more...
What if I'd done with the mayonnaise?
It would have to be like a cupy with a bit more like vinegar in it than just sweet egg, you know?
Yeah, he's not just mayonnaise.
That's what I thought you were saying.
Well, I mean, I mean, you know, if you're all, if you're fucking, you know, you're hung over,
You got another house in the fridge.
You got some one, the white.
You got some mayonnaise.
I can understand just having a white meal, an all white.
I would put turkey in there and then we're talking.
You don't have turkey.
You're hung over and you can't go get turkey.
And this is before Uber Eats.
I could toast that bread and have it at mayonnaise.
Yeah.
Like as a toast, like as a spread on toast.
I don't know if I could.
I think I could actually.
I mean, there's no reason why I don't think I could.
Well, let's ask up, St. Mark, let's refer to.
Pope Leo.
I'm St. Helina.
I'm St. Helena.
Let's refer to Pope Leo.
Why do you wish to betray me?
What with the mayonnaise?
God speaks in my ear and he tells me that you are planning to betray me and you don't even know it yet.
No.
No, no, that is true.
That is true.
Sorry, Mark, that is true.
But then you know it.
So then he's wrong.
You don't know it yet.
Yeah, but I'm gonna.
You don't know it.
There is no way I would.
You have toxins in your blood.
What kind?
You need to go in a steam room.
All right, that sounds lovely.
You need to go in a steam room for 24 hours.
That might kill me.
It might.
But it's the only way to get the toxins out that infect your brain.
Bring some water in as well.
No, no, no.
I'll go into a steam room.
No worries.
You must never tell you.
And I'll download Age of Empires 4.
And I'll just play it all day.
Did you see what he did, Pope Leo?
You stupid fuck.
He has fucking tricked you.
You were talking about steam the water stuff, and he was talking about steam the deck.
I'm too, I'm too smart, man.
I'm too fucking smart for you.
You try and steam room me.
I will turn that into a pun about the video game platform, Steam, which I love and still
do, regardless of my sainthood.
You're the first saint to love Steam.
Yeah, I am.
It was, oh, Mary McKillop.
I think St. Mary MacKillop was kind of,
was kind of into it.
What did she play?
Well, she really,
she loved Valve games.
So it was big,
big on half-life.
She liked it as well because you get the old,
old games as well.
What?
Oh yeah.
Yeah,
she liked,
it was a good way to get the old games.
That's why she started.
Did she have a steam deck?
She was thinking about an old game she wanted to play.
Oh, she was dead before.
Steam deck came about.
But,
she would have loved Mary Macillop.
Mary Macillop would have loved a steam deck.
Yeah, she would have.
She would have.
She would have.
but no it's a shame she's burning in hell because she worshipped the wrong catholic church
yeah now when i when i was going to email when you were worried about my email offending the catholic
people yeah there's only currently there's only four catholics real catholics it's me you two and
mark i mean yeah say mark second saint mark the second say mark too say mark too so mark
is brooded.
St Mark.
St Mark the second is Tom.
St. Mark two.
St. Mark two.
St. Houdini.
I'm Pope Leo the 4th.
Lucy.
Lucy.
You want a sainthood, bro?
You want to be a part of my Catholic church?
Great.
Five.
Saint.
St.
Luloo?
St. Luloo.
You choose your name, Lou.
St. Bain.
You get to choose a name, Lucy.
I'll be St.
St. Bain.
Yes.
St.
Bain.
Okay.
So if you're listening,
it's your job to find me while.
lives.
And I think we're going to close out this episode, Tom, with Mark performing his
12 rendition of Time Warp.
Didn't you want to do Fish, the Fish one?
Yeah, we were going to do no such thing as Fish, but then, like, I thought that could
be this podcast episode, right?
I don't know.
But then you became the one true path to divinity.
And so I was like, well, we can hold that off.
Yeah.
Maybe next week.
Yeah, I mean, but are you still the Pope?
Yeah.
Forever?
Yeah.
And you're not going to take a wife.
I will take many wives in time.
It is my responsibility.
And I must bear many children.
Gotcha.
I don't want to do time war.
You don't want to do time war?
I don't remember it.
What about placebo?
Oh, okay.
Where are the lyrics?
It's outstanding.
Yes.
Yes, go St. Houdini.
Time is bleeding.
St. Houdini.
Time is out of control.
I know the words.
Time is relevant and outstanding.
Time takes its toll.
Will I remember doing the time warp?
Drinking my worries away.
Making about the Pope.
Remember right with the Pope is my.
friend, Zach now.
Look at the Popey, Zach now.
Look at the Popey, Zach now.
It's just a jump to left.
And then a saint to the right.
Put your hands on your dick.
And don't pull it tight, because that's a crime against God.
If you come in saying
Zach is the Pope now he's there
Zach is the Pope now he's there
Well Zach was walking down the street and being your Pope
And he does lots of things and he's crazy in the Pope
And Brodans are sane
And so I'm on my name's St. Houdini and Tom St.
too and Lucy St. Bain and St. St. Bank and St.
Zach is the Pope now and that's the guy.
Zander's crazy and everyone's the Pope.
No, no everyone's the Pope.
Just Zach's the Pope.
His name's Pope.
Leo the 4.
Then I'm St. Houdini and Brennan's St. Mark and Tom, St. Mark 2 and Luny, same
Bain.
And Zach's going to rain hell on ass insane.
Fucking how long does this big go for?
Way!
Zach is the Pope now he's there.
Zach is the Pope now he's there.
I don't want to...
Is there more?
You take over.
Oh, Rocky.
A Rocky, that's good.
A Rocky.
Oh, I didn't make him for you, Rocky.
Oh, Rocky.
I just want to be clear.
We didn't do Rocky Ho picture show in year 12.
What story did you go to by the way?
I went to McKillop Catholic College.
It's just to jump to the left
And then a step to the right
You put your hands on your hips
And then a steering time
And do the pelvic thrust
It really drives you insane
What we did was like
A best off of all the musicals
And I also did a song
From Avenue Q
Which one? Which one? Let's hear that.
I had to do, I'm not wearing underpants today because all the other ones were too rude.
I am not wearing underwear today.
But what was great, they had a great, what was great about my year 12 musical was they had a really great way to.
I'm not wearing underwear today.
No, I'm not wearing underwear today.
Not that you probably care much about my underwear.
Still, nonetheless, I got to say that I'm not wearing underwear.
Today
I'm
That's good
Get a job
Thank you
Honey
But they had a really
Great
The show had a really great
Sort of
A mechanic
I would say
To bridge all the
All the songs
From different musicals together
Which is
Should keep on?
No
What
Can I tell you
What my
I school musical
Was
Can I finish mine
And then I'll tell you mine
Yes, of course.
I tell you because up until this point, it's the same.
It was exactly the show.
Well, I can't wait to see what your connective tissue was.
Ours was they would have two girls in year eight wearing nice dresses come out and read from a script.
The history of the musical that we were then about to do a song from.
So you'd have Officer Krupsky, which I also did.
Hey, up.
It's a crop key.
Yeah, well, crop key.
And then that would end.
And then these two nice, yeah, eight girls would come out and go,
in 2011, right.
Yurantown was also a musical.
Oh, that was earlier than that.
And yeah, and that's how they structured it.
And it was bad.
It was a bad show.
Zach.
So I wasn't in.
Poplio the fourth.
Poplar the fourth.
I wasn't in my, I'm saying who, Danny.
I wasn't in my show.
I was doing, uh,
I was doing, uh,
amateur musical outside to clash the rehearsal.
You'd made it to the big.
You stepped outside of yours.
And also interesting because both of us went to Catholic schools,
I've now realized since the God, every, no one, everyone has,
everyone since 800 AD has until now has gone to hell.
Every person that lived or died in the last 1,200 years, has gone to hell.
That's crazy.
the one true path back to heaven.
Isn't that fucked up?
It's also crazy that we're the only ones that went to Catholic school
and were the only ones that saw
and were able to touch the burning chair,
which is not a coincidence.
Also interesting that about two,
three weeks before I saw the burning chair,
I partied with my cousins.
Yeah.
And my brain just hasn't quite been right since.
Yeah, right.
But I think that's unrelated.
Your cool cousins.
My cool cousins, we went partying and then I've just,
and then I've started to see God since.
That's crazy.
Where'd you go go-karting, wasn't it?
Yeah, go-karting.
If you go-karting place in Footscrow,
you can talk to God is what I'm hearing.
That's what happens.
Just don't party with your cool cousins
unless you want to be the next post.
Zach, hit us,
probably the fourth,
hit us with the connective tissue of your year 12.
So it was different musicals.
There was umpalumpa's one song.
That's wild.
There was a hair song,
but not the rude one.
I can't remember all of them.
The connective tissue was the Phantom of the Opera,
was traveling,
was traveling to different musicals and stealing their best songs.
Beautiful.
At least yours had a glimpse of creativity or thought put into it.
So they would sing the whole song, then they would all collapse and he would go,
I'll take this song.
Was it just Andrew Lloyd Webber dressing up?
No, it was someone dressed as the phantom going around stealing songs.
And then there were two, I think there were two year eight girls or two kids
that were like trying to find him and get the songs back.
So the connect, you both had year eights as part of it.
Well, actually, no, I lie.
That musical was year nines and tens.
Ours was just an open, who was always an open slather.
Anyone's welcome.
Listen, we'll be back next week with Broden's fish idea.
Oh yeah, you got to do it.
You're really got to do that fish idea.
I think that'll cut through.
I think that'll get us back from this,
the fish doesn't don't exist idea it's one of the biggest podcasts in the world
okay the cold fish error
yeah we could do like a buckler
era sushi sushi sushi sushi
can we keep it in the warm meat can we just can it be warm
you can you can fry buckler that's why I think buckler would
so it's still warm meat salmon next way you said sushi you can't fry sushi salmon
because then that becomes something else
but salmon can be sushi and fried
join us next week for some warm fish and I'm still
tell me I'm fucking wrong
I'm still the voice of God I just don't know
I don't have enough data that you don't have data
now what I really like about this now is we can like
because we'll never talk about you being God again right but you are God right
you are you are God on earth a vessel
I'm going to talk about it but like when people are like pitching at ACAS
or what are people pitching are like the only Donna podcast is a comedy podcast where
one of the people is the divine and true path to God.
Yeah.
But they do characters.
They might have comedians on.
Peek behind the characters.
Oh, yeah.
I don't want to lose what makes this show special.
But from now on you are St. Mark.
I'm Pope Leo the fourth and your St. Houdini.
But other than that, and the occasional message from God,
we are just going to have fun.
Because that's how we get the wives in.
Your wives?
Yes.
got to keep it fun
and occasionally
we'll do
Rocky Horror picture show songs and stuff
yeah we'll just do everything
that's fun
and then just every now and then
I'll go while you're here
yeah yeah yeah
yeah
I join us next week
for Brodyn's warm fish
