Starting point is 00:00:00 This podcast is part of the Planet Broadcasting Network. Visit Planet Broadcasting.com for more podcasts from our great mates. Welcome to part two of the Unny Donum, become millionaires, making a musical with our wonderful guest, Jude Pearl. Hi Jude. Hey, hello. This one feels like a cabaret. Last week we wrote a musical.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Oh my god. You got it. That's the podcasting your mic. All we need to get some WD 40 in the house. Let's just start loop that up. Let's just start again. I'm so sorry. Can you at least spit on it? If you're going to do it again, just to give it a bit of.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Welcome. Welcome to the podcast. Um, I've gone to podcast.cast. We're writing a musical where we wrote a musical. It's called Mayor Mair Dumcun, the mayor of Dumcun. Vill. Vill. Oh, I've heard a lot of them. It is a town. It is a town. No, but remember we did that focus group and people won sure about town. So we changed it to a town. It is a town, but no, but remember we did that focus group
Starting point is 00:01:05 and people won sure about town, so we changed it to theville. Anyway, we're lucky enough to get a picked up on Broadway. We had our opening night last night. We got notes. Lots of notes. Lots and lots of notes. So we did the show for who's who of celebrities? Bobcat Golds like came
Starting point is 00:01:33 Darrell Summers Darrell Summers came John Lekasama from the Mario movie came up Bob the Lans Bob Bruce the Lans What I say Bob Jack Bruce Jack Drew's Jack Drew's came Bruce the Lans our dear friend Tony Martin of course He was so if people don't know we are Tony Martin of course. Tony Martin was the eldest with Glen Ridge. So if people don't know, we ask Tony Martin out. This is Glen Ridge. We asked Tony for notes. And instead of giving us notes, you just kept regaling us with tales of run-ins
Starting point is 00:01:55 he'd had with comedians during the 90s. So he came along. He came along. And Beyonce's sister was there, which was a long, Salange, Nolz, yeah. And John Lankford. Barack Obama came. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:09 God was there. The Dalai. The Dalai Lama was there. He loves musical. Michelle Bridges was there. The fitness personnel. The fanning came along. And Creedence Clearwater.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Or Revival Camp. Revival Camp. Yeah. Grant Pyro came from couch potato. Yeah. David Mason came. David Mason. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:39 He is a sweetie. He is a sweetie. He is a sweetie. Of course. Good to see. Tine over there. Um, I mean, with no shoes. He is a sweetie. He is a sweetie. Good to see Ty now. Um, I mean, with no shoes, was it in the audience? I know that.
Starting point is 00:02:52 There was just, sure, there was, there was one seat just taken up by a Crem Broulade. Yeah. I put that Crem Broulade there and interval it was gone, but then it was back after for the second act. Charles Xavier was there, but not the one from the movies. Not the one from the movie, the cartoon version. The cartoon version of Charles Xavier. In the futuristic sort of hover car, I think.
Starting point is 00:03:16 But then also there was a second Charles Xavier there, and not the one you're familiar with from the movies, but the one at the end of X-3, where he puts his consciousness into another body, and we're unsure of who that looks like. Well now we know who that looks like. Charles Sturt. Charles Sturt came. The big explorer. A mall rat came. Grimis. Grimis came. Grimis was there. Tom Tom came which was dear friend Montaine. Yeah, Montaine. Oh yeah dear friend sorry. Jude came. I was just a surprise. I was surprised.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I did bring some a couple of friends. Did you bring? Who do you bring? I was my great uncle who lives in, because we were in New York. We were in New York. We were in New York right now. My uncle, my uncle came. He can't hear very well, but he said he liked the horse costumes.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Yeah, the shapes and the colors. He loved shapes. He's really into it. And... He didn't listen last week just to jump in very quickly. But the music was about a mayor, who is a literal female horse, who is a mayor of a town called Dunkuntville. Dunkuntville.
Starting point is 00:04:38 And she is a Dunkunt. Yep. And she's a Dunkunt. Go listen to last week. Well they're all Dunkunt, yeah, yeah. Just to give you a, because it was pretty rough. That was six months ago we were told. Yeah, it's come a long way.
Starting point is 00:04:47 Now it's more of a coming of age story. So basically, a dumb cunt who realizes that. There's not horses in any. No, not Mary. No, the horse is a Mary still. The Mary still. But it's also like a metaphor, like a metaphor. A metaphor for being a dumb cunt.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Yeah, and then of course, a metaphor for horses. Like the horse is a metaphor. No, no, then of course, and the whole metaphor of horses. Like the horses are the metaphor. No, no, no, you're almost expecting that. I don't know, I think that's first. Of course, the sexy dumb can comes to town and teaches where dumb can, where dumb can, a dumb can, will.
Starting point is 00:05:18 That maybe she doesn't need to be so uptight. That's right. On a short so-john to Havana, she chills out a little bit. She's on a short, so-jorn to have her. Because she chills out a little bit. She's just a little bit guys and dolls. It is very guys and dolls. Because she's just a small town dumb cunt. And she comes into the big city of dumb cunts
Starting point is 00:05:35 with mere dumb cunt and everything. Which is mere dumb cunt. No, but she goes to dumb cunt city. She's a dumb cunt city. Also known as dumb cuntville. Oh no, I thought that. No, people call it both in the show, remember? Right. which is a dumb cunt city. Also known as dumb cuntville. Well, you know, I thought that, people call it both in the show, remember?
Starting point is 00:05:47 Right, yeah. Yeah, I wanted to add a layer of sort of like ambiguity and so that people can't interpret it in different ways. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, so dumb cunt, then we're in the second act. She realizes that the sexy dumb cunt is not everything as he seems, it turns out. He came to swindle dumb cunt is not everything as he seems, turns out he came to swindle dumb cuntville of the little remaining funds they had. In that moment
Starting point is 00:06:12 he says he'd changed his mind, she doesn't believe him, they all look at various mirrors, they sing, you know, who is that dumb cunt that looks at me? They get back together and there's a fundraiser, I can't, I'm not entirely sure what happens at the end, but they get their money back. You know what, we put it on last night, you not sure how it ends. Well, it is vague. That's right. Intentionally. Yeah, intentionally vague. I thought it was fun, but I liked last night how the show was going along for a while. And then the actor sort of just walked off. Yeah, they said, you're gone. No, it happened to you.
Starting point is 00:06:47 But members of the band as well just sort of got up. I just left. Yeah, one person kept playing for a long time, which is... But also, I thought one thing that we did that was... That I think is so boundary-pushing and like kind of immersive theatre is that at the end of the show, even though it ends, like you said, really strangely in Bake, every audience member had a mirror under their seat, so they put the mirror up, and then they realized that like, oh, maybe...
Starting point is 00:07:14 They were dumb, I'm a dumb con. And then of course we rush back onto the stage, and we sing the dumb con anthem from the end of Act 1. A lot of people had left by this point, but still like 50% of the audience. And then the lead says, if you want to take some photos, now's your chance. And then you say, I'm so happy.
Starting point is 00:07:38 Man, man, don't cut the top cut, you. Are you? Oh, that's their social, so you can take photos. Yes. We are doing it in New York, but still wanted to add the A-U. That was insistent on the producers. That's everyone singing the song. You can get up, you can take some photos.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Post that on your socials. Just make sure you hashtag it. But then there's that great bit at the very end once there's 50% of the audience left and then they think it's over and they leave, there's about 10% of the audience left, then Samuel L. Jackson comes out and he looks to Mayor Dumbkant and he goes, are you ready? And Mayor Dumbkant says,, are you ready? And meh-meh-meh-dum-can't says, who are you? Oh yeah, that's an idea. We thought it'd be fun to make it feel like
Starting point is 00:08:30 we're gonna make an Avengers-type universe. Well, it is part of the event. It's part of the MC. Not legally. Not legally. No, no, no, not official. Not official. But you read between the lines.
Starting point is 00:08:40 And that's the big, big twist. Anyway. It's part of the MCU. I don't know if you know this, if you're listening, love never dies, the sequel to Phantom of the Opera didn't do that well. And we always said, you've only there been a teaser at the end of Phantom of the Opera. Yeah. Where Sam is right.
Starting point is 00:08:58 He's Jackson comes in and says, well, where go in New York? Yeah. And then people would have been excited, they would have been hyped. Anyway, guys, I have news. John Legg was a mo came, he gave us notes last night. He thinks there's a few songs that need to be added, a few things need to change.
Starting point is 00:09:15 He wants to remove the Avengers connection things. Well, that's, yeah, well, I mean, that's a hard note. But sure. And that's classic Legg is a mo. It is classic lego's on That fucking comes from him given his background He's a piece of shit He said you know what else he said that about what I and man
Starting point is 00:09:38 Really he gave he saw I and man and he gave that no You see in the Marvel universe not he in the, there's a fantastic TV series on Netflix that he's in. Yeah, but they quite often get chef. Oh, he is in chef, I love chef. John Leggbozamo is one of my favorite actors and I'm questionable. We got to take on his notes.
Starting point is 00:09:58 The first note is he wants a song in this that pays homage to World War II. Yeah, fair. Oh yeah, like a million. Makes a lot of sense. Yeah, yeah, just, there's a lot of alluding to it and he's saying you should just go, I should say though, we wouldn't have listened
Starting point is 00:10:14 to Leggo's armor. If he had said his units, we were very passionate about the show, but God, the reviews and the trades this morning. We got eaten alive. We, first thing we did, we woke up, we had some pancakes at a diner and we ran over to the new stand to check out the reviews of the reviews in the trades. Were vicious. They didn't like our show. One reviewer said he's going to beat the shit out of us. What? A-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-E-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-G-A-E-S-G-A-S-G-A-A-S-G-A-A-S-G-A-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-A-S-G-G-A- That is where you are. That's where I'm known for. That's unknown to 36 and 30. Always.
Starting point is 00:11:07 But I'm just with the reviews though. I mean, you feel it. Like we're pushing into new territory. And I think reviewers are so scared of anything new. Should we go the reviewers? Yes. Yeah, let's do a meta song. I think I Note from a meta musal song a meta musal song. That's meta
Starting point is 00:11:32 Yeah, guys, can I just can I just like that? So you'd be like I took Musil my name is my guy been act up Playing me. I took met a musul in the show and backstage before the show I'm constipated in real life and in the show My character had not enough fiber and neither did I Wow So that's the methametham musul song But enough fiber and neither did I. Wow. So that's a methamutyl song. I liked that bit at the end, right?
Starting point is 00:12:10 And neither did I. Yeah, because sometimes people always think you need to end on like a defying gravity. But sometimes you just need to end with just, here I am. Uh, honest kind of. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't let the audience end. Don't push. Can I raise a concern? Can I raise a concern about the methamphetaminesis or something most of the reviews in the trades they?
Starting point is 00:12:34 They were vicious by the way the reviews in the trades were vicious and and the criticism Just like criticism, sex just like saying try it. It just like saying the review of the try it. When do you pick your tried's up from? Oh, we random, some of the news they had to grab the tried. Oh God, those reviews were vicious. They were vicious. I tore us apart.
Starting point is 00:13:01 I damn knew it. Took off my hat. Do you want to do a song about the tried's? I tore us apart. I damn knew it. Took off my hat. Do you wanna do a song about the trades? I'd love to. Um, what? Whatever you feel. Alright, we've gotta work in the last two. We've gotta work in the last two.
Starting point is 00:13:13 We've gotta work in the last two. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Welcome to the new stand! My name is New Stand Bill. I got all the trades here. One Snickers please, New Stand Bill. I don't sell Snickers here. Why? I got Hollywood Reporter and Variety. Hey buddy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:43 Do you have a trade for me? I got the trades here. With all the reviews, I got the trades here. I give it a read, I got the trades here. I got it. Don't do a poo, I got the trades here. I don't do a weave. Well that's fine until you're now
Starting point is 00:14:05 Give me the trade Don't have a cow Did I see you in that musical About the dumb cunt mayor of dumb cuntville Yes you did Yes I was there Give me that trade You fucking bear
Starting point is 00:14:24 I don't know where the rusher give me the trade. I am worried that they won't be happy because the review in the trade was... V-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee Let's jump in Drupal. Let's jump in Drupal. Say bye beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, That was beautiful. I know the way I'm strong-stole, Skat. I haven't raised my issue. I loved the Skat. I loved the song about the reviews and the trade for the musical that you'll want. Don't you say? No, it doesn't. I mean, do you think if it comes straight after the meta-meta-muscle song, where it's got one foot in the meta. So the show's going along with the meta-m about a horse running a town and then somewhere, off way through, it stops and it's not becoming a bad getting the reviews for the music.
Starting point is 00:15:30 What's the point of getting notes? And we're not going to change the show based on the notes. So here's my concern, Mark. The notes from Leguizamo, the notes from Bobcat Goldslight, the reviews in the trades, Broden Calli, who has been a part of this project for six months, every single person has said, the plot is complicated and confusing. Now, I worry that a song about Meta Musil and...
Starting point is 00:15:56 Meta Meta Musil. Meta Meta Musil and reviews in the trade, which I know we didn't do the whole song, but goes for 12 and a half minutes, I worry that those two songs will further complicate them. Not if you put a song in between them that goes back to the plot. We'll hear that after the ad break. Did Tom do the...
Starting point is 00:16:24 And we're back. What are you going to say? I don't remember. So this is the song that happens in between the metametamusal song and the trade paper back song that just brings us back to the story. Between those two songs. Yeah, so interval, metametamusal. And you're saying this is going to fix all the problems. I'm saying this is going to fix the problems.
Starting point is 00:16:46 As Zach said, the trades were vicious. I know the trades were vicious, but this song doesn't... I've got the forest to shred. If this song just sticks to the plot, where we're at with the characters, doesn't, and you forget about Meta Meta Musole, and you don't talk about the trade paperback. It's going to bring everyone, it. It's gonna bring everyone it's gonna
Starting point is 00:17:06 Ground everyone. It's gonna familiarize Can I just ask because it's right after the interval is it is it as people are re entering they're re entering their Bought their drinks they bought their packet of chips It's a lot of things and a you on stage going hi I'm Mark the actor who plays them there and oh I'm blocked up. Oh, I'm me. Are you blocked up? Yeah, like a Kevin Coppanyari or like someone that we would cast. Are you blocked up? Are you blocked up? And then the song starts. I understand, that's great. That's been a bit interactive. I don't want to, because I know that this is safe space. No, no, please. Just because like Osama's criticism he was vicious. Not as vicious as the traits.
Starting point is 00:17:52 They were. Did you see them this morning? I went to the news stand. I saw the reviews in the traits and boy were they vicious. I want to took off my hat. Yeah, me too. You know, like my madman style hat. That's what I imagine. Is that what you do when you're shocked or upset? Oh, yeah. Or surprised to take off your hat? I don't even think about it.
Starting point is 00:18:14 It just happens. It just happens. Oh, it's, you know, gotta let some of that tension off on the top of your head. That's why you gotta remove it. So you've got to concern. Well, I was just, because it seems like Legosama's main issue. Was it we kind like you said we talked about World War II but we didn't
Starting point is 00:18:30 really have a song about it. So I'm just wondering if the meta-meda musul is gonna address. Cannabina can it be that. Cannabina. Yeah, can we somehow combine meta. If it's a letter that a housewife, a letter, if it's a letter that a wife is writing to her sweetie, yeah, well, he's away at the fighting. And the letter is about, I'm an actor, can I hear that? He's blocked out, can I hear that? So maybe we, maybe come, like it's, when did the war happen? It was in the, it's World War II. That was in the... 1939 to 1945. 1939, 1930s. So that would have been 40s, 1994, so you know, maybe...
Starting point is 00:19:11 Sketch could do. Yeah, like a, you know... ... ... ... ... Sorry, try to stop. This is a great like 1986 comm intro.
Starting point is 00:19:24 You just keep going Family living together got a big work everybody Sorry, that's a good song for the musical. It's a good idea to remember two ones Yeah, if we could combine the meta-muscle the world war two and the 80s because so I'll do a bit Yeah, you do a bit Yeah, you do a bit. Yeah Explain the characters of the house. I think it's a house. That's a ramshack Yeah, and there's a there's a cool funny boy. It's a it's going to college. Subtext is about racism So it's about like you know, there's an African American character
Starting point is 00:19:59 There's there's an angry old racist character. There's you know like international student And they're all making it work and it's called like Make bacon a cake. Yeah, and they're all all out of baking cake. Yeah, bake bacon is the racist man in orphan as well And that's that's the common ground that they accept the one that's not an orphan But why young George of John's revolts is in his fucking heart, but why are they there? They need motivation to be there Maybe they owe someone money Maybe they owe someone money and that's why they've had to become orphans living together Or maybe one of the orphans left
Starting point is 00:20:37 Yeah, one of the orphans left Will you gonna say something to and is this all set in dumb can't feel? We don't mention so what all is this is just this is a so separate. I'm so separate. I don't even know why I asked that. Here's what's gonna happen. You're gonna start, you're a wall, the wall letter,
Starting point is 00:20:55 the wall letter met a metamusual. That's gonna happen. And then at some point, I'm just gonna start doing the theme song to a fake 86 song. I gotta say, it feels good to be, you know, I was really upset when I saw those reviews in the trades, but it feels really good to finally be just cracking into it. And you know what?
Starting point is 00:21:14 What? I couldn't see it, but now that we're starting, I do see that there were some issues with the text. Great. Let's go into it. I'm an actor in the show. I can't do a poopy poo, but my character in the show can also not do a poopy. So I'm having met a methamusel. Hey, yeah, these kids in a house. Get a bit of flower every year on the side. You got a big, dim crease, not different things. You got to live together in a house.

What it used to be, what it used to be was key plot points where we discovered the boss of the sexy dumb can't explain we explained the mid plot twist and he was a bad guy but now instead of that we've just got Mark getting mad at the repetition of the song in the song actually made it less clear with the lyrical changes to that if you never hear about this musical again on any of the podcasts it means that it went badly and we've given up.

Thank you so much for coming in So fucking fun. That was so much fun. So but we're gonna keep working on this though, right? I mean, I feel pretty good Absolutely, let us know in the comments. Yeah, let us know in the comments what? Just let's know the comments. If anyone in the comments. Yeah, let us know in the comments. What? Just let us know in the comments. So if anyone in the comments, it works for musicals. Yeah, it works for musicals.
Starting point is 00:31:51 If you can tell us on Twitter, what you think we should do to our musical to get the next ham, or the next heaven, or the next book of norm, or Malmum. Let's know if we're on the right track. I don't know when this is coming out. You've got a show coming out next week. I don't know if it's going to be out in time, but Comedy Festival as well, you'll be around. For sure, yes, correct.
Starting point is 00:32:17 No. Yes. Melbourne Comedy Festival, but Jude is one of the absolute favorites. Ah, fucking freak talent. We, uh, I do want to just go on that for a moment. We recorded this before the Melbourne Fringe Festival, but it'll probably come out after. How's that?
Starting point is 00:32:35 How do you imagine... So time went. So time went. We just banked him. So how do you imagine it went? How did it go with the Melbourne Fringe? I, it was so much, it was actually crazy how many people came to my show. There was so many.

Starting point is 00:32:59 It's a fringe. I've got the hiccups. Anyway, go, sorry, bro. No, that's great. We should have you back and do some more musicals. Yes, please. And maybe next time we get the audience to say a structure of a musical and we write that. Or if you think that mere dumb kind of dumb comeveele has legs, let us know-
Starting point is 00:33:17 There's four legs. But we do need to work on it. If you have some notes, you'll take your notes on Twitter if you can and hopefully. That's the thing with musicals is that you work on it and then you think oh it's done but then you have to go back and work on it some more. So is this just part of the process? It is absolutely.
