Hey man, it's a cool vibe to be on the air. And I'm just like wondering what our fans are doing out there and maybe text in. Tell us what you thought. We're getting some sick texts about the falls coming through. Loving this jam. I'm grooving to it in my room. And I'm having a great time.
Starting point is 00:00:55 And that's sick to see. Another guy, loving that rock and tune. What is this vibe? And it's sick that everyone out there is having a sick time. Yeah, let us know what's going on in your day because then later on we'll cut that up and turn it into funny little clips. Yes, we do, that's pretty sick. Why don't you just text into us so we can sort of use that as
Starting point is 00:01:20 showing that we engage with an audience in an effective manner to get more funding for our programming Text line is pretty sick to do that. Text lines going off at the moment. We just got one from Jason in WA it says fuck you cunts. Yeah, it's pretty sick like it's actually Sorry, I should not say pretty read them cool. Yeah, yeah We've got another one here from Mary says you can't sound funny shut up sorry I got a pre-read this you got sorry it's not like seriously man it's quite important to like not
Starting point is 00:01:50 read out the bad ones there's a lot of generates a negative vibe mostly let's just let's just focus on the homegrown music man homegrown homegrown music you know grassroots we've got our national competition every year where we find the best metal primary school band in the world. And when we get these kids, we give them buckets of blood, we let them fucking, we give them a bunch of birds that are about to die so that they can tear them up and it's all right, it's all ethical. And we find out which is the most hard rockin' fuckin' preteen in the nation. And then we give them a national platform. It's sick.
Starting point is 00:02:29 It's pretty fuckin' sick, like seriously, like, you know, it's nothing better than having a couple of good vibes, you know, having a brew, like, and having a party, you know, seriously, like, sick fun. Like, sick fun. Hey, we've got a special guest, don't we? Yeah, we do.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Like, what does that mean? It's our guest. We support local artists more than anyone, and so we've brought in one of the best up-and-coming musicians from Australia. His name is WAMCHAM, and he's going to show us all about his new feature, the feature album of the week next week, WAMCHAM. Thanks for coming in. Yeah, Vibe, thanks so much for having me guys. You know, like I don't want to be too like real here, but like growing up and stuff in Adelaide. So this is like the National Youth Radio Station, government sponsored youth radio station, vibe. And so like I used to grow up listening to it right in Adelaide.
Starting point is 00:03:18 And you know, you guys used to not play here pop and stuff and you still will be rock. And I just go say like it's a real vibe That you guys are like playing vibe put now and it's definitely a vibe and thank you so much for supporting my 15th album It's real awesome that you guys are doing that So yeah, I appreciate you saying that sincerely like vibe like it's it's sick that you It's sick to hear that you grew up listening to this and now this is this story is happening where the music you grew up listening to you're now doing and that's all feel yeah it's almost like where responsible for your art in some ways which makes me feel pretty
Starting point is 00:03:55 vibe it's fucking sick man yeah it's fucking sick yeah and you're a fucking sick can't yeah thanks so much guys it's a real vibe. I mean like obviously I was a part of the primary school hip-hop competition that you guys ran Yeah, I think that's like how I got my first step and then I won obviously the high school hip-hop competition which was a real vibe. It was a state finalist for the honor hip-hop that was a vibe. That was a a vibe that was a real vibe and then obviously then you guys gave me album of the week Which is a real vibe so we also gave you vibe but we also gave you vibe of the week Yeah vibe of the week because vibe of the week album of the week usually different sometimes they align Would you guys cover you guys as a vibe as well. This is a vibe right here. What's happening right now? Yeah, you try I didn't even. I didn't even realize that.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Absolutely. That Brodon's character whose name I can't remember is the vibe master. Hey man, that's a vibe as well because I don't know my name either. Yeah, well then, I haven't known my name. I haven't known my name since first year uni because like I just got a week, check it out,
Starting point is 00:05:01 check out the vibes, see some live music and then I was like, hey, once you come host, and I was like, that's a vibe. I had to do a retreat to forget about my name. So that's like a vibe that you opened for the O-Week. Yeah, I respect that. It cost me eight and a half grand to go to Fiji for a month to learn to forget my own name,
Starting point is 00:05:18 and then come up with a new one. And what I came up with, I can't remember either, but I'd say earlier, and I'm sure it'll be the name of the podcast. It's not that important, I don't think. Like, it's like, what's important is some of the week, out of the week, at what's a vibe, what's not a vibe, you know? Vibre the week, yeah. Guys, I don't know if this is like the right time,
Starting point is 00:05:36 like his, cause like obviously you guys are talking about the fact that you don't know your name and stuff, but my manager told me I did have to mention that I know Cia, I've met Cia on multiple occasions, she wrote some tracks for my face. She is sick, man, like she's fucking. I know your name and stuff, but my manager told me I did half the mention that I know Seah. I've met Seah on multiple occasions. She wrote some tracks for my face. She's sick, man. Like she's fucking sick.
Starting point is 00:05:49 So I'm fucking, not seeing her face is probably the best vibe I've ever seen in my life. Like I saw her face like two weeks ago, man. I was in LA, she had a hip-hop conference, and I saw her face and she was like, I caught up with her. I didn't catch up with her. It was like an industry lunch thing in I saw her face and I was like, hey, it's a fucking her. I didn't catch up with her. It was like an industry lunch thing in our Sora face.
Starting point is 00:06:06 And I was like, hey, it's a fucking vibe. That's a fucking vibe, bro. I was fully convinced at this point that she had no upper face. Nah, she fully does, man. And our Sora, she used to be when she wrote all the tracks for us. She, I could see her face, man. I thought it was just so white.
Starting point is 00:06:21 But now she's doing like tracks for like Zane and shit now. And that's like fucking good on her, man. That's a lot of work. You know, but for me, I'm doing like tracks for like Zane and shit now, and that's like fucking good on him in. That's what I'm talking about. But for me, I'm all about Adelaide. That's what I'm, that is where, Adelaide is one of the most vibrant cities. The vibe of that city is unlike the vibe. It's a soft vibe, it's a soft vibe, but it's a good vibe.
Starting point is 00:06:41 But I just wanna say it's also a vibe. It's a big wine city, big wine city, but wine's got its own kind of vibe. It's got like a good vibe. But I just wanna say it's also a good vibe. It's a big wine city, but wine's got its own kind of vibe. It's got like a culture of wine. It's like, no, wine's got this thing like there's a huge culture and it adilates fucking sick of that. Like in major export, it's wine and the boss of alley. Yeah, actually you know, shirazas and you see. Pino grigios.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Yeah, you can get any of that stuff out. Pino wine. You can do like a wine week, like a wine weekend tour, where you go up maybe with your partner, you go around, you do a little, go to the wine cell, do some tasteings, and that is a fucking vibe, seriously. Like it's a fucking thing.
Starting point is 00:07:15 It's a huge thing man, like me and my partner, right? So like between my 15th and 16th National Tour last year, and like let's take some time off, let's take a weekend, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's just chill out. So we took a long weekend out of the brossa. And that's not my vibe, man.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Like I was there, I was wearing cargo shorts and I could see you shirt. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was there, like I said to you at one point, I was like, you know, we're in cargo shorts and a t-shirt. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. That's a fucking vibe.
Starting point is 00:07:43 That's a last-minute vibe. That's a way to stick it to the vibe as well. You know, like, yeah, there's like one vibe, one vibe is being presented to you and you've gone, not only am I, I'm gonna fuck with this vibe. I'm gonna fuck with it. You're looking at the vibe and you're saying, I'm a fuck with you. You know what that is though, yeah? What?
Starting point is 00:08:01 That's a vibe. That is a vibe. That is a vibe. That is a vibe. That is a vibe. That's a vibe that is a What is it in on a but in on itself in on the song on my Like a violin a violin. There's a song on my album right which is a vibe It's so sad seven it's called I love that track. Oh, I love it. No kids the Chino kids Oh, no, I'm CDs track eight. That's I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry That you're in the goji press release that I totally get it you haven't had a huge chance to listen to it
Starting point is 00:08:22 But the Chino police man and um that's definitely where that song came from. I'm at this like one place and it's I'm just surrounded by Chino's and yeah, and it just comes in the I'm just like yo get out of here Chino police. I got my cargo shorts and I want to be Adelaide. Yeah, that's a cool response. I usually would wear something like that But it's actually all the music band T T shirt week So we're wearing T shirts and different things That's definitely a vibe Yeah vibe That's a vibe That's a vibe This is a vibe
Starting point is 00:08:54 I thought we'd just take a quick vibe break Did anyone want any vibe? Did you want to vibe? I do want to vibe How do you have yours before the break? No, no, no, no, not before the break. Just I'm just asking if you want a vibe. Would you like a cup of vibe?
Starting point is 00:09:15 My vibe is like a city calling response where I include avalade with the great international cities. That's my vibe. Yeah, yeah. So I'll have my no milk. No milk? Yeah, I'll like to have mine two sugars All right, okay, sorry, I didn't get the joke. No, that's cool. That's cool. That's so funny Not getting the joke and doing a different joke in of itself
Starting point is 00:09:37 Is a vibe Oh, yeah, no go you go me in so sorry, bro Man, are you are you playing splinter this? Because I'm fucking going to Splendor, I'll see you that much. Now I can't say, I can't say whether or not I'm playing Splendor, so I can't say that. Yeah, right, right, right, that's a vibe. I'm picking up and you want me.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Let's just say, I have booked 43 dates or my manager and I have booked 43 dates in that month, right? And I'm in Byron the night before Splenda and then I'm in a small rural town just north of Byron. So are you playing Splenda? I can't say sure. I have played Splenda for the last 15 years. So luckily I am going to play Splendor again for sure. For sure. And let me just say, we don't have Sia performing with us, but we have got some great artists that you guys are playing at the moment, singing all of Sia's parts.
Starting point is 00:10:38 So you have a great time. Hey, Wemcem, I want to thank you for coming in. Please check out his album that comes out next week, man. I was listening to it and I was just vibing out. And I thought that's a vibing. Do you mind if I finish up with just like a shout out to all my favorite cities, just like a Latino police? Yeah, you're gonna vibe, you're gonna shout out at a late or?
Starting point is 00:10:57 Well, it's all my favorite cities, all the great art cities of the world. Do you mind if I do that? Well, it's a lot of that. It's just me and you guys call back, right? So I'm gonna go, you know, I'm gonna say the name of the world do you mind if I do that? Would love that. It's just me and you guys call back, right? So I'm gonna go You know, I'm gonna say the name of the city and I want you to say oh yeah, all right. Yeah, right, right London London oh New York York Los Angeles
Starting point is 00:11:19 Hong Kong One Adelaide in South Australia Adelaide in South Australia Adelaide in South Australia Yeah, I've just listed all the cool places. Yeah, that's great. Great wine. The text wise going off Text one's going off. We're in champs a dumb con. So I'm so sorry. I've got a pretty read these I'm so don't worry about that one. Don't worry about that one. Sorry about that I'm sorry about that. Yo, this is a...
Starting point is 00:11:46 Coming up next, we've got a segment where I'm playing old videos of my dead grandma ragging me out. That's gonna be wild. It's nostalgia meets comedy. It's gonna be... We're talking to someone who you first heard on a like a like a version. We have a segment on the show called like a version where a like a version. So you know the Madonna song like a Virgin? I know it. Do you know it? It was based on. So what it's about you know it? That's what's based on.
Starting point is 00:12:25 So what it's about is like, now we do a cover, but it's a pun on the Madonna song like a virgin, which is fucking vibe and sitting, you know, it's fucking sick. Now, you may have heard this performer as a guest spot on a song, and she's coming now, she's doing a solo track, and we discover her actually on our platform for finding new artists she actually uploaded a song 25 years ago and recently she's on the label
Starting point is 00:12:51 and now she's we discover her because she is she is please welcome uh cockatoo I'm shy. I'm shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy.
Starting point is 00:13:07 I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy.
Starting point is 00:13:15 I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy.
Starting point is 00:13:23 I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy. I'm not shy it in my youth, and I loved to talk about things I did when I was a kid. Video games aren't that cool, but seriously, talking about youth and growing up is actually pretty funny and sick. I remember when you had bikes, fuck things are different now. Yeah, man. I still have a bike, but I never ride it.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Oh, right. I'm usually probably transport all the way in. Yeah, I'm on a hoverboard these days. Oh, God, the public transport all the way in. Yeah, I'm on a hoverboard these days. Oh, I see. Yeah, I'm keep on taking the technology. So you just use a core, you have a lot of core strength that I imagine. Yeah, yeah, yeah, a lot of balance.
Starting point is 00:13:55 It's a lot of just kind of like balance meets core strength which is why I like it. Can't get off, I'm very difficult to get off. So I tend to get on and stay on. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Cause you're often crashed out or do you, it's, can you, can you stop it? I can't, it's, it's very difficult to get off.
Starting point is 00:14:11 It's very, I hurt myself. My elbow down my elbows, I smash them up. Cocked two. Don't your elbows. I tell my elbows, I fucked up my elbows trying to get off, hitting them on the pavement, smashing them up. That's a vibe, that's a vibe seriously. It's a painful vibe, it's a for vibe. I just wish I kept my bike
Starting point is 00:14:27 Krimbus your T Yeah, sure, sure you are that makes you quite um, it makes you quite cool with me like T. He I can't imagine how all the text comments Our right now, please don't read them. No, no, no, we're not gonna read them out. Stop, stop, stop. Stop. Everyone stop for a second. Please stop, shut up. That's actually stop.
Starting point is 00:14:52 Now, Chromans you're, you've got a sick song, which you mind. Let's just play a little bit of it now. Y'know. Buh, y'know. Buh, y'know. Buh, y'know. Buh, y'know. Buh, y'know. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, with and he made it sound like that. It's actually a very nice little song but he made it sound like that. Tee hee hee hee hee.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Yeah, it's sick. That's sick. That's how I'm grown. Is that how I'm grown? If Los Angeles is homegrown, then yes. Tee hee. Where did you grow it? Where did you grow it? Where did you grow your vibe? I wrote the song in Brisbane. Oh, that's a great. That is homegrown. And then we recorded it in a mansion in LA. That's still quite homegrown Was there did anyone who produced the track? They homegrown No, he is well he was from New Zealand originally and he's the basis for fun full stop
Starting point is 00:16:01 What is that? You had fun full stop with the lead singer David Leena Dunham. Okay, that's a vibe. Yeah, so he was the bassist for them. And then now he just takes a million of pop to just add what ever's involved to young songwriters' songs. What a f***. Yeah, quite giggly today, which is a bit of a vibe, I'm somewhere I'd as songs. What a vibe. Yeah, it's sick. Yeah, you're quite giggly today, which is a bit of a vibe.
Starting point is 00:16:27 I'm into that. I'm shy. I'm like a nice, landic woman, but I'm Australian. If that's a sound you make when you're shy, what's a sound you make when you get a tickle? Excuse me. Well, to Jolly and the Vibre. Oh, yeah, sorry. I didn't make the, sorry, I didn't
Starting point is 00:16:49 Just I was just wondering You shut your shirt don't go please don't go to I understand you want to be the Tee hee hee to the tickle but yeah, I was just saying like you know Tee hee hee shine us that's a vibe. I was wondering oh When she get to tickle what's the vibe there? Obviously that was inappropriate. I will be fired because of this But I will at least get to finish out this shift. Hey, hey Five yeah, that's a vibe. All right. See you later guys. Thanks to the office Now next we're gonna be talking to a person calling in who as one of competition a fan is gonna ring in and because they want a competition
Starting point is 00:17:29 so If you love vibes Give us a call on the number one one one two two three three five four four four five but two three three four four four five that's pretty sick so if you love vibes and you love rock and ounce of music you know we create the vibe that it's just lots a lot of cool inner-city people listening to our station but it's actually mostly just tradies on their way to work and we got a call in this is from one of our biggest
Starting point is 00:18:06 listeners, hey, who's on the line? I mean, I'm a tradie on my way to work, loving the box guys. Yeah, sick. That's awesome. Nice to hear from you. Let's hear from some of those cool inner city listeners who love our vibe.
Starting point is 00:18:20 We've got another caller. I wonder which university this one goes to. Hi, you're on the air. Who is this? Hey, here you go. And I'm an an inner city trade on my way to do some work on a university That's big closer. Yeah, big closer. We are looking for it. If you're like in your early 20s and you just vibe an out and you love Os music maybe not a tradey like give us a call in give us a call in, like tell us what you're rocking so on your way to work, or on your way to like a chute, maybe. Hey, who's here?
Starting point is 00:18:51 Hey mate, I'm not a tradey, I'm a trainee, I'm currently learning carpetry, I'm like, I'm a carpetry, it's okay. That's close enough. Yeah, rocking out to that song by that hot chick you just had on. Oh yeah, that's see That's the next one this hey
Starting point is 00:19:07 How you are have you put in your top 10 for our best songs ever? Yeah, man, I put in my top 10 and you've played none of those songs Yeah, I play any of those songs you never have but you know, I listen to you guys because You know, it's where the only option really is that it's a theory So I'm learning Carpentry at the moment. I'm learning how to do cabinetry right now Which is really my main point of focus. I want to really focus you on cabinetry long term And what are you doing in the short term? What are you doing in the short term? Well, you know, you're going to do the whole thing for the train
Starting point is 00:19:48 issue. So you know, that's what I was that sort of thing. You put up more. You put that sort of specific. It's true. That's the thing. And it's like focusing on one trade. You can work from building sites to building site, which is
Starting point is 00:19:59 kind of a. What kind of walls you put nothing but not brick walls dry walls. Well, obviously wood is on the a carpenter Jesus Christ man. There's seriously men You need to know your basics about home building Metricon or like what one of the major companies or At the moment I'm doing my train as you would met your con so we're building so they just realize the townhouse is Self-better than apartments. Yeah, yeah building so they just realized that townhouse is so better than apartments. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:24 I'm square footage of an apartment and made a completely unlivable townhouse. We made 50 million of them in and out of suburb. Yes, see. The sea of townhouses that are mostly staircase. Yeah, right. staircase and maybe a kitchen. So obviously, yeah, obviously you work a lot with carpet. Do you work much with wood?
Starting point is 00:20:42 No, seriously, you You go listen me. Well I am doing the best stuff. Yes, Mr. Speed, cool. Hi, because I want to get into carpet. I want to build a cabinet. And with that sort of disrespect me and you're not going to have good cabinets, are you? Well building a cabinet out of carpet,
Starting point is 00:20:55 I reckon you're going to struggle, mate. I can get a lot of time. Why? No, seriously, you got to listen to a fan base, man. Seriously. Now, you know this next guest, he base man, seriously. Now, the next guest. You know this next guest, he was named Alman the year last year. It's a small bowl of pudding. Thanks so much for coming on.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Small bowl of pudding is on mute, I think. There we go. Thank you so much for coming in small bowl of pudding, man. Like seriously, it's amazing. I'm a small ball of chocolate pudding, not the kind from the anti-donna sketch, but rather, you know what they call the sort of chocolate yoga. Yeah, you're like a yoga, like a yoga casting situation. I'm like a yoga lover.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Yeah, I call someone has added a myelot to me. Someone just sprinkled a bit of myel on the top for a little bit of texture difference They've sprinkled one tablespoon of my no to me. I see I called chocolate moose chocolate smooth I'm a little would you like to hear my song? Yeah, man sure play your song. This is from your new album, which is fucking Sure play your song this is from your new album which is fucking sick and we just want to say we just want to say it is an absolute fucking Asshole of a vibe Little bowl of pudding has managed to write a full album. It's fucking sick man and like
Starting point is 00:22:18 It's how I can six how fucking sick how you do those guitar licks on this album, not having arms, fingers, or the ability or brain strength or brain strength. I didn't do it the guitar licks, the expenses for fun, for a stop did they're more lean and done, I'm saying. I'm saying, lean and done, I'm saying. No, that's the singer, huh? Oh, right, okay, sorry, I've gotten confused. Oh no, if this plays the ball of footing.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Yeah! Usually, man, you've got to respect local artists in the middle of the game. I do like seriously, this is a perfect example of that mean. When someone says they're a carpenter and the Nate tell me they don't work with carp it, I call bullshit. Alright? That's a mean, that's a mean, shut up pudding.
Starting point is 00:22:58 I'm trying to say. And one and a half little tabs. He's one and a half little tabs and putting. So he's actually put into a bolt so you're right so it's a fair amount of putting enough for one person to have a good vibe. My own as girlfriend had a half a tab last night and felt sick so I am one and a half tab so he's putting. Did you not gain sentience until yesterday no I've ordered my husband sent him to but someone eight half of you what someone ate a quarter of you yeah they ate half of me and I felt the pain my macros seriously you
Starting point is 00:23:36 think he might humanistic form which is of no value to actually understanding this being so they live in a point of existence where they can malleably mold and connect and then dissipate from one and it's oneself and still be the idea of self. They still have that idea of self. Right. It's a pre-packaged pudding. Just fucking sick.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Well, all pre-packaged puddings are a single consciousness. What? So we have one single consciousness. Right, like that And he put you in the episode. It is me. What's that? What? So we have one single consciousness. Right, like that but like yeah yeah yeah I fucking watch that show fucking laugh man it's fucking send us a text send us a text let us know how you're feeling about a packet and a half of pudding's latest album and let us know if you're a Rick or you're a Morty and actually let us know if you think Rick and Morty is a vibe at all it's an adult swim cartoon and it's just really smart it's actually really fucking smart it's
Starting point is 00:24:43 really smart hey can I tell you something I'm just checking the text It's actually really fucking smart. It's really smart. Hey, can I tell you something? I'm just checking the text line. Just gotta say, guys, we need to chill out for one, but also like fucking text in, like seriously, like it's fucking fun. Like I was down at the Roti one night, and I was like having a fucking fried chicken burger,
Starting point is 00:24:57 which is the fucking best you can get in Sydney. And I was like, it's a fucking vibe, you know what I mean? And that's what I'm getting from this fucking album. It's fucking sick, bro. Yeah, yeah. What you're acting me to sing this song? Yeah, man, that'd be sick, bro. Like, we fucking sick.
Starting point is 00:25:11 I would love that. I'm a little pudding. I'm a little pudding. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate pudding. That's doing cool shit. That's sick. If you want some pudding, get a spoon from the drawer. It's like a pet's bowl and eat that pudding.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Put it in your mouth and chew, chew, chew. Don't need to chew because I'm liquid, I'm liquid, I'm my solid. Who can know? I'm a little too pudding. It's an efface out. It's a real, everything, everything meets the Wiggles vibe. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wiggles are fucking sick. I grew up rocking and answered their tunes. Bye, bye.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Before you go, I thought you had a live conversion you were going to do for us. That's this? You were going to cover, you were were gonna do a cover of a song. A song? Oh yes, and this is my cover. It was either gonna be something that's really popular right now or something fucking old. You would just do a scene.
Starting point is 00:26:18 People, a lot of people go, hey, that song's too old, that's not cool. Do you know what? Actually, if you go, there's actually some fucking sick songs from like, before we were even born, like, 15 years ago. Like, there's some songs that came out and like, fuck, this is what my dad listens to, I don't know if I like this, like, boring, like, and then I hear it and I go, that's actually, do you know what? That's actually a vibe.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Credence Clearwater Revival. Yeah, like, they're fucking dead, but like, there's actually a vibe. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Credence clear water revival. Yeah, like they're fucking dead, but like there's some six songs on there too. Yeah, this like, this like, Suzy Q. Yeah, Suzy Q, like,
Starting point is 00:26:54 Suzy Q. You know, like maybe a bit of a fucking, I don't know, John Farnham is actually like fun. Like I was in a wedding a few weeks ago, my friends get married, and I went to the wedding and they put on fans and everyone's like, what's this?
Starting point is 00:27:07 And then like it was a bit like we were like, ironically dancing to it. Which is fucking sick. Man, I discovered the best band last week. Yeah. Can't have you ever heard of the same in power? Yeah, they're really, they're really behind. I discovered them last week.
Starting point is 00:27:24 They are great. Man, like she really behind. I discovered them last week. They are great. Man, like, see, they're talk about alive. Dude, they ticked like several boxes of what they kind of music that we should be listening to. That's something that you need to have. We gotta start playing them on this station. We do, man, they're mostly, it's mostly tame in parlour. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Fuck, they're good though. They're from, Paola. Right. Fuck that good though. They're from, they're homegrown. Are you okay? Yeah, bro. Can I sing my song, and? Oh, we should. The vibe for me is just going way off the go that we had another whole other packet of pudding.
Starting point is 00:28:00 So, I have chosen. I pudding, you're fucking sick, man. Yeah, you'll see your my favorite guest Very much like that you chose me. I have chosen shake it off by Taylor Swift You think it's a pop song? I hear that. I hear that. I hear that. Oh, how's this gonna work? How's it gonna work? We're gonna do. How's it gonna take Shake it off to her to into putting? But I think it's gonna do a great job. You're gonna turn it into pudding. But I think he's gonna do a great job. He's not gonna turn it into pudding. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:28:26 How do I actually just go into singing? He's not, he's not a good singer. Where do I like a pudding? No, no, no, like a version there. I'm so sorry, I got the segment wrong. I thought we'd do it in like a pudding, where a band comes in, takes a popular song, turns it into a pudding.
Starting point is 00:28:40 No, that's not what we do here, man. It's a pudding, turning, doing a cover of a song. Alright, alright sorry bro. Alright let's go with like a version and then we'll do like a pudding. We can't do like ating. I want to leave. The visual tells that no one but the patrons receive. That I have a share of sin for this is very uncomfortable. Alright, let's stick to like a version. We'll figure out like a pudding later on. Doesn't have to be today. We can do tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:29:20 I thought we're getting a tub, a tub and a half of pudding in. What a better guest for like a half of putting in. What a better guest for like a pudding? No, no, they respect. They make that respect that we didn't book ahead of time and people need, you know, milk and cast a sugar and they need certain things to make the food. Shall it take you a while? One, it's two. You know what to do. But I keep crossing. Can't stop, can't stop moving. It's like I got this music in my mind saying, it's going to be alright. Because the player is going to play, play, play, play. The head is going to hit, hit, hit, hit. The baby, I'm just going to shake.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake, shake it off, shake it off. Thank you. I thought you were a... That was such a vibe. My favorite part of the song was the bit where I thought you were losing confidence, but then actually, it just turned into a almost like a remix vibe.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Do you know what I thought? What the fuck? Yeah. I thought... You know what I thought was cool about putting our rendition and shake it off, right? Yeah. I thought the original was like a pop song, right? Like a pop song.
Starting point is 00:30:46 And then what he did is he slowed down the tempo and that rear manhunted it for me. And he just slowed it down, made me look at it in a whole different way. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because when I first heard the original, I was like, pop bullshit, right? Then I heard a tub and a half of pudding do their version of it
Starting point is 00:31:06 and I was like actually the foundations of this song it could kind of be anything it could be hard rock it could be EDM it could be and all that's a vibe all of a sudden it's like something like dorky little sister would listen to and the next thing I know it's like me at a cool friend's house like split in one hand yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you finally got it into something just fucking rocking out like and that's yeah yeah yeah all right well hey that's the top of the hour so we're gonna go to the news but like and the news is actually fucking important man like a A lot of people go, oh, news that I want to be up on top of it. But news is fucking important.
Starting point is 00:31:49 I've got a friend. That's actually fucking important. I've got a friend only listens to the news once a week, because they're like, oh, if I'm getting the news every day, fucks with my vibe. Nah, man, like it's sick to be engaged. Like, sick to be engaged, that's it. It's me, the news guy.
Starting point is 00:32:04 That was upright. Hey man. Yeah man, they're trying a new thing where like the minute or two before we cut to the news, we just have a chat to keep it informal, keep it low key, and make the news kind of fun for our 16 to 25 demographics. Yeah, sick. That's sick.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Hey, what's the news man? Tell me what the news is. Um, fuck man, there's some pretty full on shit going on. Uh, ton of people are dying in the US. Uh, ton of people have got COVID in Europe. They're not dying yet, but we have to wait two weeks to see. This is fucking sick. It's not sick that this is happening, but it's fucking sick to talk about it, like seriously.
Starting point is 00:32:39 It's actually dating with the news. Yeah, that's what's sick. Yeah, what's happening with the news? We have no political position man, no political position at all on any of this. This and like real mental health issues happening, down Vickway also, the economy is struggling all across the world, property prices going down.
Starting point is 00:32:59 These are some interesting facts that I have no opinion on, positive or negative. What else is happening? So US elections are coming up, we got Joe Biden, we got Trump, they're both just dudes and they're gone for the election. Some people are gonna vote on November 3rd. Hey bro, do you like, do you have Tick-Tock? Do I have Tick-Tock? Absolutely I do. So it's at news, public broadcasts are cool. Basically what I'm doing, I'm probably at public broadcasting news cool.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Yeah, so basically what I'm doing is I'm taking like news nuggets. That's what we like to call it. We're taking news nuggets, maybe we'll take like a quote from Scomo or just someone in politics up Canberra Way or down Canberra Way, we're in Sydney, but we're not Triple J. So basically someone down Canberra Way, they've got some like, you know, they'll maybe say something to press conference, something to bit silly,
Starting point is 00:33:57 but they're not like slipping the informative stuff. And then basically what I'll do on the 20, set nine year old man, but I on wear clothes like a 19 year old Yeah, I see in front of her I'll stand in front of like my phone at the offices of our of our radio station And I'll be cool. And I'll be along to it like like which was a 16 year old girl's idea She was doing really well and now I'm just copying her You should take like maybe when one of the,
Starting point is 00:34:25 like one of the premieres is reading like the daily death report and then just like do me, me with my fam, like read contextualize it. Yeah, absolutely. That's a really great idea. Like so what we're trying to do is like do the news, but like cool and fine and hip and interesting and cool, you know, so like one idea we had right,
Starting point is 00:34:44 so like to represent the amount of people that have died from this disease, right? We were like just like, we just like did it as like videos, like we were like, hey, that doesn't sound like a number. It's just a number. But imagine every one of those numbers is alive. How do we do that?
Starting point is 00:35:01 There's so many TikTok trends. Check out that many TikTok trends on one screen. And when you see that visual man, it's too many TikTok trends. You don't know which is a dance, which is a song. It's actually too much and you go, fire out. If this is too many TikTok trends, it's probably too many lives. Not that that's our opinion, you can draw your own conclusions. It might be not enough lives. The economy is also important. We weigh up everything here. See what that is? Well, it's just like that TikTok,
Starting point is 00:35:31 have you seen that TikTok where they try to show how much money a billionaire has with grains of rice? I was like, bro, I've got that much rice. Did you get my billionaire? I'm not a billionaire. You just gotta be careful. I'm not, I'm not stating a political opinion. All I'm saying is anything about trickle down economic.
Starting point is 00:35:50 I'm not saying anything about trickle down there. I'm not saying anything about trickle down through another internal review. I'm not, I'm not much an illusion, I don't want you to lose your job. Just, I'm not doing another fucking internal review man. You got a phone. No news reporter. Cool. On TikTok. on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:36:05 I don't have any opinions on trickle-down, man. I know the difference between profit and government. I saw the fucking guy. All right, see you guys at Tavag. See, mate, that was a massive fight. And to anyone else out there who does have a lot of rice, you are not a billionaire. That is what I learned.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Hey, man, it's been a great day. I'm talking fucking Aussie fucking music, man. Oh my god, homegrown legends. And we've had so many of them on this radio show. So today, tonight, today, tonight, a show I don't like. I've watched it before. See ya. Okay. I got a clip. I've watched it before. See you. You're okay.
Starting point is 00:36:46 You're all right. I've got to go. I'm holding onto a shit at the moment that I need to go take. And it's a, wait, is this Mark of the show? I'm, yeah, I had a cup of coffee in the morning and I'm standing in the morning.
Starting point is 00:36:58 Was this a supreme coffee? Because you can't get a bit of coffee then some coffee. Can I get a bit of cup of coffee then supreme coffee? Coffee's supreme. But we would say that we're now if we're finished the improv because you can't say that bit of coffee, then, you can't get a bit of cup of coffee, then supreme coffee. A coffee supreme. But we're gonna say that, we're now at the end of the improv because you can't say that on a public broadcast.
