Get A legends and welcome to another Ripper episode of the Anti-Donna podcast. A podcast where we simulate the process of developing our sketches with fun improvisations. On today's podcast something very special and exciting has happened and the voice we've prepared it for about 40 minutes. This week's podcast is brought to you by the auntiedonaclub.com where we release extra podcasts every month for the funny price of $6.90.
Starting point is 00:00:37 This week's bonus comedy podcast was Mr. Massage Man 2. Take it away Tom. Can I normally, normally we ask Tom to do the music here, but I would really appreciate it and Tom you can keep this precursor as well, so people understand. I would really appreciate it for my own mood and for my own vibe. I need it as like a performance enhancer, and while we don't have a like a player connecting to Zoom, I would really appreciate it if you two could give me some sort of like news update kind of music for this. Have you started the podcast?
Starting point is 00:01:26 100% I started the podcast. I wasn't sure. I need that, I need that sort of to be clear. So I don't want people confused as to why you guys are doing the music. It's for me. Yeah, I understand. I'll do it.
Starting point is 00:01:41 I'm happy to put my hand up and say I can do that. I'd be honest. I'd be honest. I would love it if it could be a little multi-layered and maybe Mark you could just enhance what he's doing with something That's what I assumed you were asking. I thought maybe I would lay down some sort of beat Like maybe you could say something like DJ drop that beat and then I could do something along those lines like dropping I'm using port that I don't know if DJ's really doing news reports. Yeah, look, it's a saying that DJ's doing news reports.
Starting point is 00:02:09 What I'm saying is that in this circumstance, when we're doing a multilayered, acapala song, what would be nice as a cue to start would be DJ drop that beat. Yeah, I think so maybe, or like it all like my I hear what you're saying But I also think like like a one or two. You know what to do Well, they definitely wouldn't do that on a news program. No, I'm not saying that I'm saying that in this circumstance though where you need to queue in the music You know a one two. You know what to do Zach seems on board with it which
Starting point is 00:02:43 you know, one, two, you know what to do. It was like, seems on board with it, which, I'm happy to go with yours. I'm happy to go with yours. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Well the only reason why I don't, the only reason why I worry about that is I don't think of you as a DJ anymore, I think of you as a co-executive producer. So is that our cast? Of the podcast and of Donner as a whole. So is that okay if I say co-executive producer hit that beat. Yeah, it doesn't it doesn't have that same sort of like cool vibe. But you said yes, so that's all good.
Starting point is 00:03:31 That's great. And I and I personally wanted something a little more in-world like a and now for a news update. So if you're happy for me to combine all three of those requests, I can do something I think with that. Okay. All right, and then do something I think with that. Okay. Alright, and then do you guys know what you're going to do for the music? No, but I'll find my way. I guess we'll just have to use our improv skills.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Okay. And my knowledge of music. Do you want it to be news music? Me? I'm very nazily today, and I'd all apologise for that. I would love for it to be news music. Me? I'm very nasally today and I'd all apologise for that. I would love for it to be music. That's the whole point of it for me. It's to get me in the zone for the sort of special news update. Okay. Is that okay? It's going to have to be. Maybe just follow Brodon's lead on this one. I can follow my lead on this.
Starting point is 00:04:25 I feel very confident that that felt condescending. No, it was just that Brodon came in with so much confidence and you came in with a DJ hit the beat and I just wish I would argue is confidence. Confidence? Yes, but misplaced confidence and a lack of understanding about my needs That's right for a DJ. I consider nothing but your needs when it comes to my Accapelad DJ Nothing but your needs and for the last eight years. Okay. I have been so worried about your needs and what you want and what you need
Starting point is 00:05:01 That my needs okay have been put on the sideline. So, and I need you to just appreciate and respect that. I don't mind putting myself second. I don't mind. If a DJ drop the beat for you, it does not work. Then that's fine. But I just need you to respect that I tailor my performances. I trust the both of you, DJ Nakapella, to your needs.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Can I just say? I just say, yes, absolutely. This is some of the biggest news we've ever received in the group. It could be the biggest day in the group. And we're finding about DJ spin that shit. It's so true. Isn't that a shame? People think that when something like this happens,
Starting point is 00:05:49 that it would be all roses, all positivity, and here we are, bickering and infighting, like Alexander Hamilton and that other guy. He's driving the damn fool that shot him. Think about that guys. Do you know in my opinion, the king of England in that song he stole the show. It's so funny. Oh, you're a bit back.
Starting point is 00:06:15 Oh, so he's like a bit back. Do you know where he's the guy from the murder show? My favorite bit in Hamilton is when the man with the book does the cool dance around the book. Yeah, it's very cool. My favorite bit is when they take something as boring and dry as Senate debates and they turn it into a sort of like a hip hop eight mile type situation. Do you know what?
Starting point is 00:06:43 You'll never be satisfied. Sorry, Brad, and I just, I got Hamilton in my head now. I've got this too. Well, why don't we do the news music as a Hamilton song? I would love nothing more. Do you want me to rap like Hamilton?
Starting point is 00:06:57 Yeah, I think we all do a Hamilton rap. I think that'd be appropriate. But it's about the news, I guess. But it's about this news. The news are about the news. But don't say the news, the news doesn't tell you what's about to happen, doesn't go, hey, dead in the car fire today, what's the news gonna be apart from that? Well, it doesn't do that, you know? Yeah, no, absolutely not. Look, I'm so open for that, I think that's a fantastic idea, I think we do a
Starting point is 00:07:23 Hamilton style rap. as you guys know I've got a strong sense of music, Caledon rhythm, so I'm behind it I'm ready. Okay, let's let's let's do it. I'll I'll launch us in if you want please and now for a breaking news update for DJ one to hit that How did it often son of a banker yo the new Alexander Hamilton No one else is doing anything Sorry, yeah, I just not focusing on that is focusing more on Hamilton at the moment than it is the news Which is fine. I'm happy to put my name So he was just setting he was just setting the time, but I was going to come in with the news.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Okay, cool. So he says the time. So you just say DJ drop that piece. It's time for the news, and we got to do it today because I'm only 19, but my mind is all, yeah. Immigrants, we get the job done, yeah, and let me tell you, 1862, I'm being the treasurer and me damn fool that shot him It how does an orphan best and son of a whore? In a bastard caseless son of a whore and he can't stop dancing
Starting point is 00:08:43 You're not saying it you're just talking about it it's in context that works alright and then I'll close it off I'll close it off how does a bastard baseball son of a whore and Peggy I would never be satisfied I would love it if we could just do the music. Bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum Stop time out. I could see that you were moving that way Mark and be it's background music
Starting point is 00:09:26 I need it's soft and subtle we can come in hard I'll give you guys a minute and a half of whatever you want But then it needs to come down for me to just be able to give the news. I hope that's an okay request. Yeah I know my sister like I know my own mind you'll never find someone who's the son of a whore. Stop it. Stop it. You guys stop it, man. Stop it.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Can I, can I, I've been working on something. I've just been doing a bit of acropella work. I've been watching pitch perfect. You mind if I do it? No, not at all. Do you ready? Do you ready? If you want a beat, just say DJ drop that beat and I'll get one up for you.
Starting point is 00:10:07 So you're going to do it, Brian. Okay, yeah, you do it. That's optional. And then can you just give me a nod when I come in with the news? Okay, ready? Em. Em. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I couldn't say something quickly. I'm sorry sorry That was all your voice yeah, I look I always thought of myself as the I always thought of myself as the rebel Wilson of the group But that's that's why can you can you double down? Can you explain that please? What the what way do you mean that? I'm just goofy, just a bit of a...
Starting point is 00:11:06 Right. And she was in what group that you're comparing that to? The pitch perfect. Right. Because what I'm about to say here, Mark, is um, I thought, you know, I'm the Rebel Wilson. Again, yeah, like, Mark, I always thought of as the Britney Snow. But I didn't realize we had a drink. Well, okay, because I didn't realize that we had an anachendrick in our mix, but Mark was clearly anachendrick. So, I don't know what to say. It's just how I see myself. It's just how I see myself.
Starting point is 00:11:42 I gave you Britney snow. That's pretty good. Guys, this is the biggest day in news for us. It is fucking around. It's sure I'm sorry. Zach maybe do like tonight on the news. Tonight on the news. Yeah. Tonight on the news, we interrupt this news program for the news. Tonight we've got some big news that is interrupting the... You thought you were going to get Rodin's character last week.
Starting point is 00:12:19 We set up a three-parter of character work, but we're going to get back to that because tonight on the news a very special news. Hello, welcome to the 730 report. My name is... Jack, just saxophone. No, who is the composer on the set? Cario Brian. I'm Cario Brian on the 730 report. And I'm joined today with two experts in their field at Antidona, Broden Kelly.
Starting point is 00:12:55 And Anna Kendrick. Thank you so much. My name, and I'm I'm referred to as the Anachendrick in the Antidona group when compared to the pitch-perfect team of archipelacingors. We're also joined by Zach Rwain who will be taking the news from here on out. Hi, thanks so much, Kariya Browin. Hi, I'm Zach Rwain.
Starting point is 00:13:18 So this morning I woke up, we were going to do a podcast about where Brodom was going to bring an improvised character, last week Mark brought, who was your character Mark? Dangerous, either Dave or Dan. Dangerous, Dave or Dan, and Brodom was going to bring his character that he's been working on for a few weeks, but he's got another week to work on that character because we have a very for a few weeks, but he's got another week to work on that character because we have a very special announcement, a very special news announcement. I woke up this morning, I keep all my social media in the spare room now, I don't have it on my normal phone, I've got an old phone, I sat down at my computer, I turned on Twitter to watch Ellen's apology. And what did I see on our mentions,
Starting point is 00:14:07 but we are being followed by the one, the only Justin Bieber. That's right. That's right. We were followed by Justin Bieber this morning, which is a big thing. And we were going to go ahead with the character comedy, but we thought it probably merit just stopping and taking a moment and just
Starting point is 00:14:28 appreciating how we got here and how exciting it is for not only us three but you the fans and we're all we're all I know why we're all followed by Justin Beben now and it's and it all stems it all stems from when we had on the podcast the... Adbreak. What? Does it have break now? Oh. Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:14:53 All right, carry on in the mind. Thanks. You can definitely massage those in a little more. Oh, so it's going to do. I sort of waited until a lull in the conversation. I was in the middle of the sentence. And I think you know that. Guys, you're fighting again on the biggest day.
Starting point is 00:15:14 It is the biggest day. We need to put our petty differences aside and we need to talk about the real thing that's happened. Now, we had the Queen of Twitter, we had the Queen of Twitter on a few weeks ago, and they gave us a blue tick. And since that blue tick, crazy things have been happening. Nothing has been the same. No, my's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same.
Starting point is 00:15:47 No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same.
Starting point is 00:15:55 No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same.
Starting point is 00:16:03 No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the same. No, it's the LED lights to fix it. What? There's a little PDemons reference there. Yeah. All right. You think she can cure COVID with LED lights? I've always loved Justin Bieber.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Yeah. I've loved Justin Bieber since baby. Mm-hmm. Through to his more adult work with the Diplo. And even his most recent work, he's a tour de force. Obviously the documentary where you can see and drumming and he's too and it's incredible. He's also a tour de France.
Starting point is 00:16:41 Yeah, he's a bike race. He's one of those rare tour de de force to a de France's. I should, I should be real here. I should be real here. I was cool. I'm a cool person. So it's the long hair and the leather jacket. Since because I'm a cool person,
Starting point is 00:16:56 I listen to like triple J and stuff. Yeah. And I always thought, not Justin Bieber, not for me. He's a kid. He does YouTube pop songs, thumbs down. And then he collaborated with Scrillex on a couple of songs and then I was like no Justin Bieber is cool now and I've been a big fan since he was cool. So that's where I am. You're on board now. Yeah. Oh 100% ever since he collaborated with
Starting point is 00:17:22 Scrillex and Diplo I was like he is cool now He'd be cool. Yeah, I was very similar but there was a different thing that turned the tide for me I think it takes I always consider Justin be able to be a boy just a little boy Just a little like skin dick like nothing really going on upstairs. Just what if he's listening? But that's true and any might be because he's already but see where I go this I always thought it was a little boy but do you know what takes a man's strength what being roasted on comedy central yeah and when I saw him cop all of that like a man I went this ain't no little boy we're dealing with
Starting point is 00:18:06 that takes guts that takes gusto but it also says he follows us you know what it says it says to me we're accepted now welcome welcome to the to the promised land we are welcome to Hollywood baby we are now one of them we are we are we're really at that level now, which is really exciting. So I just want to take that moment to say congratulations to you two for that. Oh, congratulations to you as well, Brod.
Starting point is 00:18:33 And I feel like you spend a lot of time congratulating us on the blue tick and on Justin Bieber following us. But I feel like you never take a moment to thank yourself for that as well. And I think it is important just to say, no, it's really exciting and it's a great moment in my life that Justin Bieber follows us. And Justin Bieber does follow us, Justin Bieber, who is a big superstar, Justin Bieber. He follows us and we're on D'Hontor and Justin Bieber follows us.
Starting point is 00:19:00 We're little babies now. We're little babies as his follow is a famously called, little babes. It's worth noting as well, sorry, Zach. No, that's okay. It's worth noting that he follows 300,000 people. Does follow 300,000 people. There are articles about the fact that he likely has
Starting point is 00:19:22 a team of people that like algorithmically work out exactly who to follow in a way that will facilitate him having 100,000 followers on Twitter. That is, if not a bot. If not a bot? If not just a bot that someone has created for him. That's the argument against this being a real follow. But let's have a look at some of the evidence evidence
Starting point is 00:19:47 So um Justin Bieber he's it look. I've got a photo of him as my background if you're watching the visual component There he is there with the mustache and his hat backwards. Um, I chose a warfax, you know I don't know if he still dresses like that, but to have a mustache you know backwards. How does? You know, it scares me, it scares me. I go, is he safe to be around? Is he gonna start like, kick flipping or shooting at the convenience store? You've talked to something,
Starting point is 00:20:16 you've talked to something there Mark. He does look dangerous, he looks like a punk. But then you hear songs, you go, there's something more here. He has a soul of a, a heart and a soul. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he has a soul of a, you know, of, of a tangelo, of a tangerine. Which one is it?
Starting point is 00:20:37 What I don't think it matters what citrus fruit he has the soul of, I think it just matters that he has the soul of something a little softer, a little more... If you get to make broad accusations like that, I can actually just clap. It's not like that. He's trying to run around a lot of accusations. He has the soul of a soft piece of fruit, which means that they're so beautiful. Okay, so now he has the soul of an apple then, does he?
Starting point is 00:21:00 No, that's a hard fruit. That's a crispy fruit. That's a really hard fruit. You can bite into it that what not Just because you can bite into something doesn't necessarily mean that it's soft Or you can bite into something hard to take a chunk out of it. I don't agree It's crispy apples are known for their crispness. But are you saying which fruit are you saying? Who's like I said a tangelo or a tangering?
Starting point is 00:21:22 I worried that that's still got a lot of structural integrity. I would have not been able to buy it in my lower galley. The ride is removed. But it's still solid. I mean, we're talking then about a juicy fruit, but one with a great deal of structural integrity in my opinion. Are you saying Justin Bieber who follows this is juicy? No, I'm saying he's like like Shrek.
Starting point is 00:21:45 He has that appeal of an onion, which is a hard vegetable. You just keep coming in with the hard vegetables. No, I don't. You you you haven't said a single. I mean, it's a vegetable. I've mentioned onion. Apple is a fruit. You can't talk about apples before you're like, he has the soul of a crisp apple.
Starting point is 00:22:04 No, that's not what I said. And I want you to go back and listen to this podcast and see what a fool you've been. Yeah, no, neither will I. But if you were that kind of person, I would suggest you go back and see that the listeners are gonna be hearing this in real time. And then you just switch one,
Starting point is 00:22:19 but here do you wanna hear, do you wanna hear, do you wanna hear, do you wanna hear, do you wanna hear, no, no, no, no, no, no. I want Bebe to know that we have a healthy, we are healthy in terms of our interpersonal relationships here at Antidona Bieber. Please believe me.
Starting point is 00:22:33 I know you're listening. I know you're probably a member of the Antidona Club Power by Patreon. Well, to him, that $6.90 is like nothing. Because he's in the middle of the list. That's piss-fist-fist. He's just like, if he's a fan of anything, he's just like, yeah, there you go. I'd love to support that I'd love to follow that not that it's a support for
Starting point is 00:22:50 That's it's 90 you're getting you know to a two-pot guy. He'll drop six 90 on a hot dog. He doesn't give a shit That's a lot for a lot probably drop six 90 on a hot dog at the footy probably if it was a good hot dog Yeah, like a post dog. You know what calls as posh dogs? Yes, like a posh dog from around. Disney's California adventure, they have those really fancy dogs in the Brioche buns, and they go in for something close to 10 US. There's nothing better than a corn dog,
Starting point is 00:23:21 but you are paying a premium price for a corn dog at Disneyland, the California adventure. But they hand dip them. This is the thing. They do. And then the, what I find very exciting about getting a corn dog from California adventure is you never know how much pancake batter you're going to get on there. Sometimes you could have quite a lot of times. It could be quite thin either either way for me it's a win-win situation. Did you know Mark that in Disney World they have like a corn dog nugget which is like the small little Frank Fertz, Danna's corn dogs and then you have a little, you can have a cheese dipping sauce, I'd just go with tomato and I'm busted. That little corn dog nuggets, what do you think about Mark? That is the best fucking thing I've ever heard
Starting point is 00:24:05 of my fucking life. Let me tell you that. I did not know that. And now I am so, that's so exciting to me. That's so genuinely, genuinely, that's exciting to me. Do you think Bieber has ever had a corn dog nugget? He can have whatever he wants. He looks in manchards, he has staff, he's rich and famous and he is the company we keep now. Do you think that if we asked him to come
Starting point is 00:24:35 and fly us out on his plane that he would say yes? I reckon like because it is nothing near him right. No, that he's so rich and he's been rich since he was like eight. So we'd be like, hey Bebo, can you fly us to Hollywood and he would go, yeah sure, no worries, I love Poo. So he'd just jump in his plane, he'd come and get us and then we'd have to hotel quarantines in two weeks. You know what would happen, you know what would happen. We'd get on the plane, over like hey Beves, he'd be like hey and then he'd go, oh you guys hungry, I like a little bit and then he'd open up a thing and he'd have heaps of puds in there and he goes and he'd go, oh, a little bit of pud.
Starting point is 00:25:11 And then yeah. And we'd go, that's a lot of effort. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We'd go, that's a lot of effort, Justin Bieber and he would say, oh, no, I had, like, I'm so rich. I have like, stuff and stuff. I I was just like this would be a funny joke And then they went in like they went to Coles and they bought it for me That's how rich Justin Viva is he so rich. Yeah, he could just have Corn dog nuggets anytime you wanted He probably's got them on the plane as well
Starting point is 00:25:38 Well, that's if he wants them, you know, that's purely determined like, you know That's how we'd know if he was a true fan as well, because he would go, he would go, hey, I've got corn dog nuggets and we thought you were going to do Pood, because that's our famous sketch, the viral on Facebook. And then he would say, oh, no, that's for like, um, normies. I actually listened to your podcast, you talked about the corn dog nuggets. He's so cool. Do you think you raised an interesting question there? Do you think his favourite sketch is put?
Starting point is 00:26:16 No, I think he's a real fan. I reckon he like ironically likes FTSE's championship and Mr. Mastashman. And I reckon he's the kind of guy that would like argue the merits of Mr. Bull. But I think his favourite is like a kind of a norm. It's like a same ties to work kind of situation. If I had to... You've done it, Stan, that though, because he's never been to work. Yeah, but sometimes his staff might wear the same hat.
Starting point is 00:26:48 I, yeah. He's a, he's a, he's a, doesn't like to admit it in front of other Donner fans, but his favorite sketch is social media, IRL. That's what, that's the level of fandom I think. Oh, yeah. He's a really big fan. Yeah, huge fan, huge fan. How do you reckon he got into us? Because I was thinking maybe it was Selena Gomez. That was just my theory. But my theory was because he used to date her if you were the evidence. So if he used to date her and like that was around the time 99 was coming up.
Starting point is 00:27:21 So I reckon they were like going on a date and they like hired out a stadium to watch a movie Which I heard they did once and then he was like hey babe oh, no she was like hey, have you seen this whole larious video and She showed him and she thought nothing of it. She's not a fan. She just saw the video pop up and then and then he was like That's really funny and then he kind of fell into it that way. That's my kind of theory and it is based on a fair amount of evidence. It would make sense. It's the one thing that we have in common
Starting point is 00:27:49 is that we both dated Sleen. So I wonder if she introduced to it after that. That's interesting. Do you see what? I just just, that's the one thing that we have in common, me and Babes. We dated Sleen Selena Gomez. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:05 When did you date Selena Gomez? In 2000. Mark. Yeah. Because I can get real for a second. In the time that I've known you, you dated Izzy. And then you dated Naomi. I don't remember you ever dating anyone else in that time.
Starting point is 00:28:23 You've been in too long relationship. She, me and Gomez had a thing in between there was a uh... No, there was a... I was really upset. You would have said something. I remember you were very... You were going through a really rough time. You were moving in the houses. There was no time there Mark.
Starting point is 00:28:42 And I am sorry Mark, but you are the sort of person that tells us when you piss in the boot of a car. You have to think you do- Ah! It was just a summer fling. You know, think it would come up? Think you're dating one of the most famous pop stars in the entire world?
Starting point is 00:29:03 Well, we're looking for links, right? We're looking for how to be, but how to be, but how to be, but get from being. I'm looking for facts and evidence. You don't make shit up. I'm not making this up. We had a fling that was between Izzy and Naomi, my current girlfriend and my ex-girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:29:24 There was a three to four month period where I was I was our I was flirting up a storm with different chicks and then Go me as an eye Bumped into each other. I think it was a Yaya's that Yaya's on Smith Street What what Zach? I just don't believe you Is that Yaya's on Smith Street? That worked out. Um, what, what's that? I just don't believe you. It's really unlikely. It's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it's really, it And then we kissed, we did over the gene stuff, and then she had to get on a flight back to LA. So...
Starting point is 00:30:08 And then we kept in touch, she slid into my dams. I've got the messages. Mark? What? I believe you. Thank you. I believe you, I'm sorry I ever doubted you. Yeah, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:30:25 I don't work out timeline wise. Look, here's a thing about me. I'm about evidence and facts, all right? And you presented evidence there, the Yaya story, the plane back to LA, that was evidence. And I'm sorry I doubted you, but I have a sign. She watched, she watched, she watched, she watched, she watched, how would she have known about put? I'm sorry I doubted you but I haven't signed. She watched the end of the movie. She watched the end of the movie. She watched the end of the movie.
Starting point is 00:30:45 How would she have known about put? If she, like how would, exactly. If she, if she had not watched any of our stuff, I'd go, but she knew about put. How did she know about put if she wasn't a fan? So what you did was you presented evidence, and now I believe you. And also that bolsters my initial claim
Starting point is 00:31:10 that Selena Gomez got Justin Bieber into Aunty Donner in the first place. Thank you. That's all I'm trying to establish. Well, I'm not great on, I'm not big on Selena Gomez going around showing new boy friends who X is content. I think that's great by her.
Starting point is 00:31:24 In fact, I think it's shameful. Well, Maddie's, it doesn't give that relationship the best. No, she's not giving Bieber and Selena a chance. Broden. And I think that's disappointing from Selena and she should be ashamed of herself. Could it be that she showed Bieber the video of Pood before she had the summer fling with Mark.
Starting point is 00:31:46 So I mean, she did when she approached me at the bar at Yaya's, she said, are you the guy from Pood? So, so chances are... Evidence again. Yeah, evidence and truth. So, you know, so that black does make, that all checks out. This timeline makes sense sense and then Bieber took
Starting point is 00:32:08 What seven years six years to then Follow up post that which is maybe he subbed already, you know, that's true. Yeah Maybe we just wait for that blue tick. Maybe yeah, like I was saying this. Yeah, you can't be seen as following people. He follows 300,000 people. Mm. My, I guess my question is, so now that we know for a fact that Selena Gomez is showing her boyfriend's pood, and it's been half-cured.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Let's go through the boyfriend. We're not going through the boyfriend's. That's a really exciting moment. And we're not, I just want to be very clear we're not doing like a Taylor Swift sort of you know slutshaming kind of situation here she it's she's allowed to date as many people as she wants in fact we encourage her to date more people because that will increase our full show and and also I do want to say she was in a music video. She was very good friends with Taylor Swift. There's a good chance on the set all.
Starting point is 00:33:11 On that music video she showed Taylor Swift that video, our video of Pood. So there's actually a really good chance Taylor Swift, all of her crew, you know, the people she performed with, all all of her exes are fans of ours as well. I was gonna say well if Swifties are fan then I'll tell you who's not a fan Katie Perry. No that is very true. They've got beef. They've got heavy beef. I should have said that. Nile Horan could be a fan. Did she date Nile Horan and he would have showed it all all of his friends. Well Lando Bloom. Taylor. Launter. Taylor Launter could be a fan. No. Yep. Charlie Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber could be a fan. I just want to say something very exciting. I know Broden, you're a big fan of The Rock. Charlie Puth, who did the sad song in Fast and the Furious 7,
Starting point is 00:34:09 is rumoured to have dated Selena Gomez. Now, it's very likely that he met The Rock at a Fast and the Furious 7, Premier Errol. Well, also, if you look, she also dated that Jonah brother who is in Jumanji. So that's like, like, it's more unlikely that the rock wasn't in the catering tent, in that catering tent out the front of the ju, at least one of those sets. It's more unlikely that he hasn't seen our sketch video put.
Starting point is 00:34:42 Because that's like a scene that's cleaner showed Bieber she also showed Nick Jonas Nick Jonas showed the rock rocks of him or and also she also showed Charlie poof we know that for a fact so if she's shown both Charlie poof and we have evidence to this effect this she's shown both Charlie poof and Nick Jonas both of who know the rock. So this now, it would be more unlikely that the rock hasn't seen it. I'm not gonna say unequivocally.
Starting point is 00:35:12 Rock knows Lin-Manuel Miranda through Moama. Yeah. And we've done his song on the podcast. And we've done his songs on the podcast. So that's a direct link. That's like two degrees of separation. Have you seen the song in Hamilton where it's the three sisters
Starting point is 00:35:34 and they come on in that each more beautiful than the last and they're like, I'm this sister, I'm this sister and then the third sister is like, you know, I'm Perky and she's like the doofus one. Right? When I was watching it, I didn't want to say anything, but I thought it's actually really interesting, because oftentimes when we do like introductory songs at the start of our live show,
Starting point is 00:35:54 it like will do a bit of a joke where like, YouTube will say something like, you know, I'm this and I'm like, like you'll describe your character, and then I'll do like, yeah, kind of a, an A musical. Yeah then I'll do like, yeah, kind of a, an A musical. Yeah, I should on you, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:07 And I just thought it was really interesting. And it's not an accusation of copying because I think like that's a comedic rhythm. But I think there's a good chance that, that he plagiarized that. What, at the very least that he saw Rasha, he was inspired, that we inspired Hamilton Which is pretty cool
Starting point is 00:36:32 Yeah, timeline wise Selena and I were were Wooking up around when Hamilton was being Written so that would make sense Yeah, right. Yeah, that's because if we were doing the songs on the podcast and then she would have been listening to it told Lynn Manuel told the rock Moana would have come out. It all makes sense. It all makes sense. Like I don't want to be one Here's the thing. There's a lot of people that will throw out baseless rumours about our fan bases and who follows who about our fan bases and who follows who. But if you actually use empirical evidence
Starting point is 00:37:08 and you use study, research, correlation, and finding the facts, you actually get some pretty, you uncover some pretty cool truths. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no, no. No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no.
Starting point is 00:37:22 No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No, no. No. No, no. No, no. No, no. as to how and why Auntie Donna has penetrated the celebrity psyche.
Starting point is 00:37:45 And I'm sorry if Beaver, if you're listening to this and you are and I'm talking to you now, Beaver, I'm not talking to anyone else. Beaver, I'm sorry I haven't mentioned you before. Welcome. Welcome. It's awesome to have you here. I love your music. I love your career. And hey, we'd love to have you on as a guest sometime. Just send us a message, it will come up on our verified feed, or just tweet us, it'll come up on our verified feed. Yeah, we have that now.
Starting point is 00:38:14 Yeah, we have that now. I ask you, I ask you, sorry, I'm just saying that verified. I reckon he follows so many people because he doesn't bother with that normal feed, he just uses the verified feed. That's the kind of somebody that he is, which is pretty cool. I would say to Justin Bieber, now as you are listening, we've got evidence to that effect. I want to say, I would ask you to DM us, but unfortunately we're not following you. So if you can just just just just just tweet at us. But if you start with the ad, I don't know if you know this Justin Bieber, but if you start with the ad, no one else will really see that tweet unless they look at mentions. So start with the ad, just be like, hey, love to be on the podcast. You do need your own set up at home though, because we're currently doing it over Zoom
Starting point is 00:39:06 and we can't be on it. You need to use GarageBand. So if you've got GarageBand and a USB microphone, everything else. We can get you a USB microphone office works if you don't have one, that's good enough. There's like, they're like 50, 60 bucks, but we'll get it posted out to you.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Oh, well, I just, you know, like, it shouldn't be on him to spend the money to get it to get a set up done. I don't know if he'd have any microphones in his house. He would have to, and also just say, you know, Justin, you would have to convert that file to a web file. Yeah, I'd probably want to add a file. And then put that in like a drop box and send us the link.
Starting point is 00:39:43 But we can talk through all of that on the Zoom call. Unless, I mean, maybe he has people that can like, that can like teach him how to upload the web file. Yeah, those people are called Mark Zach and Broden. Yeah, these new best friends. Thank you, Bieber. I think it would be a good idea to close out this week's episode with a bit of a plug for Justin He this is a this is we're gonna close out with holy
Starting point is 00:40:10 His song his new his new single that he did with chance the rapper who I imagine now is also a fan Hello chance the rapper You can listen to this stuff on Spotify or iTunes. I imagine. Yeah, just give him a sub. I would imagine and follow Bebes On all these platforms. There you go. He's super cool. He's super cool. He's and he's grown into himself. Yes. He's a cool. He's a really nice guy actually. Yeah, and a man. I would say a man. He's gone from a boy to a man. Well I think like,
Starting point is 00:40:45 I don't want to say much on it, but I think like Haley Baldwin, his wife or Haley Bieber maybe, I don't know if she took his name. I think she's really like ever since he found that love and that connection. I think he's really um, his wild days are a little more over and you can see he's sort of holding it together with the paparazzi and stuff. He doesn't let get to him like he used to. And it's really admirable. Like I'm not going to hold someone's past against them. Watch the roast. Watch the roast.
Starting point is 00:41:11 Oh, it's so funny. He takes it so well. He does. You see him go from a boy to a man. It is really in good fun. And he really, you know what else? He dishes it as well as as much as it cops it. When he dishes it out, I was fucking as the cops it when he dishes it out I was
Starting point is 00:41:25 fucking on the floor just fucking squeezing my testicles so hard it's so funny yeah you really can take it Joe can that I think I think the got that that guy from was it was that guy that was really nasty to him? I was like, I don't really like him music. I thought that was a Hannibal Burriss. Yeah, I thought he was really nasty. I thought he took it a little bit too far, but everyone else kind of was in on the joke and... And yet.
Starting point is 00:41:55 And yet... Took it like a man. He did, he really liked that. He's got a hard exterior, but a soft inside like a passion fruit. Like, we are a Mandarin. Yeah, I mean, that's kind of how I was explaining him before. You said it first before, man.
Starting point is 00:42:14 I think you both agree that passion fruit is the best one. It doesn't get harder and softer. There's no better dichotomy there. Okay, that is true. The juxtaposition of the rind on a passion fruit compared to the fruit that it produces on the inside. I mean, come on. It's probably the strongest example of hard to soft, but that's not to say that a tangelo doesn't have a similar representation.
Starting point is 00:42:38 I would like to a posit that I think that he has a heart exterior for sure, but he's soft in the middle, like a hollowed out rock filled with jelly, and then the whole that the jelly was inserted in with sealed over with a bit of concrete. But you see, you've created that thing to show an example of what Justin Bieber's like.
Starting point is 00:43:00 The whole idea of an analogy is to find something that already exists. Is it clear though, do you understand what I'm saying? Oh yeah, but I mean, and I know the art of language is... I know that T'Angela was not the best example, but you basically just described a sort of constructed passion for it. But I'm talking about rock hard, it's made of rock. Well, you've done, you've just created an artwork. That's what you've done. You've gone, I look at Justin Bieber. I look at Justin Bieber and I see a hard exterior soft inside.
Starting point is 00:43:30 I'm going to create an artwork that represents that for me, right? But the idea of an analogy is you take something that already exists in the world and you say they're similar. No, I mean. No, that's absolutely fair. But if it did exist, would you agree that it would be the best analogy that this exists?
Starting point is 00:43:50 No, I don't. I just explain why. But if it already is the very real thing. You're not listening. It was a thing that you could buy at shops. I guess then, yes, I guess. If it was a perfect analogy. It was a daily thing.
Starting point is 00:44:00 If it was a thing as commonly used or referenced in daily life as a passion fruit, short. OK, I had another one. Again, the tangelo was about a coconut. No, see I thought coconut but coconut's hard on the outside, hard on the inside with a bit of water. Yeah, he's a wet boy. That was what I was going on the inside. He is wet on the inside to play. He is wet on the inside. Coconut is a probably coconut is a better analogy, purely for his like the way biologically he's constructed in a sense that it's like a tougher exterior
Starting point is 00:44:33 than inside. He's like wet and there's like goo and stuff. So I'd say he's like a coconut, but he's a coconut with a soul of a passion for it. He also, in the way that he hides up trees and and locals climb the trees through generations of know-how and pull him down. What about, okay, I've got one
Starting point is 00:44:52 that I think's gonna work for everyone. Justin Bieber is like a coconut where someone's, in size, the little hole filled it with passion fruit and then coated the coconut in concrete. Well you wouldn't need to make the coconut exterior harder, even if you have a, like even some people with a machete struggle to get into a coconut. So I think the coconut is fine without the concrete. That adds a whole another layer of... I wonder if Bieber has ever cracked a coconut open and drunk the coconut juice.
Starting point is 00:45:28 But he'd pay someone to do that for him. He's that? But maybe for the experience, you know, like the experience of it. There'd be no need. He would have, he would have, if he ever decides to go to a tropical island. Which I'm sure he has. He would have some time. You just fucking dismissed my position so...
Starting point is 00:45:42 Listen, I'm not justing it, just listen. So flippantly. I wasn't, I was not trying to be rude. I'm just in need life. And, you know, from conversations with Sleen's about what his life was called. That was what you had to be called. Sleen's, Sleenie, Sleener, Sleenest.
Starting point is 00:46:04 Okay. We had all kinds of crazy nicknames for each other when we were getting free What'd she call you? She was usually just Mark but I asked her to mix it up and she was like there's not a lot I can do with that I was like okay, Marky, she was like that's a bit too It wasn't a relationship it was just kind of like a... like a... yeah Did you have sex? I think... Well I think I saw her at Yaya's Haven't met her. Well, I met she was in the it was dark
Starting point is 00:46:32 Well, she was dark at Yaya's I'm not sure because I doubt she'd go. Yeah, she was very famous at that time Again, it was dark so anyone could be hidden there anyone could creep in the shadows Yaya's a was a small bar and... Collinwood. I worry that if she would have got it, yeah, yeah, I was at that level of her fame that people would surround her and it would be hard to get out and... Well, she had a clown mask on. Okay.
Starting point is 00:46:59 So, are you sure that it was her or maybe just... Because you have to understand everything, everything I believe is built on that piece of information that you gave me. And if you were lying Mark, then I don't know what I will do with myself. It's not a lie, it's just a... I remember more the details emerge. I believe you, Mark. Thank you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:47:31 Mark, did you just see a nerd dressed as Heath Ledger's the Joker? Don't do this, Zack. Zack, I'm fine. Don't do this, Zack. It's so good. I need to know. No. I need to close it out this week.
Starting point is 00:47:46 That's time for the Puzzle. He holy by Justin Bieber on my phone. Get out support Justin Bieber if he has a Patreon. I hear a lot of guys. Justin Bieber is creating music. Ha ha. Don't think that I need to. I could.
Starting point is 00:48:04 He's really changed his image. I might go down to the river. River, like, well, you can listen to lyrics. It's the way that the sky opens up when we touch it. It's making me say, That the way you hold me, Hold me, Hold me,
Starting point is 00:48:18 Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, Hold me, I think that's cool. It's something. Yeah. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:48:40 It really is more, it really does express the jam inside the rock that we were talking about of his sort of soul. Jelly. The jelly. Yeah, the jelly rock. Wow, this is a beautiful song from our friend as we like to call him Jelly Rock. He really, he truly is a jelly rock. You guys have a great week. We'll see you next week. Now I'm stopping. You hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me This podcast is part of the Planet Broadcasting Network.
