There's a party going on right here. Because of the slight celebration. All the year. We weren't able to do time to fan you a lot.

Starting point is 00:02:35 I fucked your dad in the head. It made me real sled It made me sled. Yeah, it made me sled Mark is making eye contact with me right now. I find it full on. And intimidating. Because I have a minute in a room with someone for nine months. It's really freaking me out. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:57 I noticed that. And I thought that was a little strange. I was looking at you and you looked away and you felt like I met you. I'm comfortable and I'm sorry. I'm just going to look at the story. I'm sorry. Oh Fuck your dad in the head and that will make me a sled Fuck you fuck your head. I missed you boys Now we don't usually get
Starting point is 00:03:47 Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha on the anti-dunder podcast, but we know that it's very important. Bronton's got the soundboard up. He's got the soundboard up. In all seriousness though, I think, I know, just based on what we discuss previously, I do think it is important just to get this across. Whoa, whoa, whoa! What? What do you, when needs to be gotten across? Mark, if you will. Um, well.
Starting point is 00:04:10 What? Well, um, there's something very important happening across the ditch. Whoa, whoa, whoa. What? What is that? What? What if you got, who What is that? What is that? Who gave him this?
Starting point is 00:04:26 The internet. Tom, did you tell him this was okay? No. No, no, you didn't. Oh, well, I just thought we're coming here and have a good party. Oh, I thought, oh, that sounded like the status celebration. No, this is the status celebration. You see how they just, they both had a little drum.
Starting point is 00:04:47 They're both drums. They're both drums. You don't look at me either. I don't know what's wrong with you two. I've been in it. I've been in it house. It's a lot. This is a lot.
Starting point is 00:04:58 I'm really enjoying it. I'm just in the same relishing in life on that. I want to throw around a lot of aspersions, a lot of accusations, but I just want to say that some of us, some of us kept to the rules when Dan asked us to shut down, some of us kept to the rules, and some of us didn't go to illegal drug parties in the CBD. I didn't. I just want to make it very clear that I did not go to illegal drug parties in the CB.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Mark, I'm not saying that you were to illegal drug parties in the CBD, but I'm just saying you're very comfortable making eye contact with people in a room and me and Broden is struggling a little bit, which makes me think maybe you went to illegal drug parties in the CBD. Done, done, done. Salah, break good times with your friends When you're going to the party and everyone is going to the party! Now, we don't usually get very serious on the ARMY's other podcast. Um, you get serious?
Starting point is 00:05:57 Yeah, yeah, bro. Because something's happening across the ditch that's pretty important and a lot of our listeners are gonna be affected by something coming up very, very soon. I mean, almost on this very day. So we just want to just sort of just say it, today's podcast is gonna be a little bit different. Normally we go on wacky adventures.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Yeah. We do very silly, maybe made up characters. I know that's very that's very fun Bro, but that's the kind of stuff we usually do that is the stuff we usually do But I actually do want to kind of convey to everyone here normally we do sort of silly characters and stuff But I think today of all days it's important that we have some serious people on the podcast now You must know what we're talking about. And if you need a bit of a hint,
Starting point is 00:06:46 let's just say it's been all over the news and it's huge. It's huge. It's huge. It's huge. It's the new Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson. It's coming out in 2020. It stars the rid love very ex 2022. So 2020.
Starting point is 00:07:04 2020. Did I say 2020? I was like 2020. I'm sorry 2022 is represented by by New York Sometimes they've used Chicago For the first time ever they're using London Landenations in London. Yeah, yeah, very different very interesting. So to celebrate the release of the trailer a few months back, we didn't want to do this over Zoom. So we've lined it up.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Today we're doing our top 10 favorite Batman characters. And we're so excited to bring you, we've been thinking about this for quite a while now. Who are we gonna do? We thought up of some maybe some crazy scenarios where some of our favorite. Oh it's... let's put a smile on that face of you. It's the shokka. That sounds to me like the joker. Yeah, I'm the prince of mischief. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Joker, thanks for coming in. Yeah, Joker, you're a,
Starting point is 00:08:12 then probably the most prominent Batman villain. Yeah, someone say apart from apart from the stars. Yeah, we're just and you're a joke has quite a pirate vibe to the joke. Hey, which is just a different interpretation Pachant Batman. You know there's been no I mean Ledger's Joker That's not that's from the 2007 film the dark night I'm I say all the seven seas what I've landed here in the port of
Starting point is 00:08:43 the seven seas of what I've landed here in the port of Cartham. Harit Joker. What's your origin story? Yeah. So by origin story is vague and interesting what I say to Maggie Jill and Hall. Yeah. It's different to what I say.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Yeah. To the other one. Yeah. No consistency in this Joker. Uh, yeah. Well, he's just a bit of a, he's a, he's a trickster. He's a trickster, Tyre. But I came from England, where I was once a naval officer,
Starting point is 00:09:09 but not stole, I stole a ship, put together a crew, and now I sail the Seven Seas. I was sort of like looking for a treasure. Sort of like a black beard. Yeah, that sounds like black beard. Yeah. Well, there's someone else that wants to say hi to you, Joker. Um, and he wants to say- Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, Oh, yeah, who could it be?
Starting point is 00:09:46 What killed the dinosaurs? Dysage! It's Mr. Freeze. It's Mr. Freeze. Let's put a smile on you face, I'm yours. Oh, it's a cold. So, audience, it's cold. In So, audience, it's gold in here. Mr. Fri-Man's.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Okay, so, so audience, we're here now with two very heightened characters. You've got pirate Joker and you've got Mr. Fri-Man. And he sounds like he's Arnold Schwarzenegger's version of Mr. Fri-Man. Get to the ice chopper. Yeah. That's definitely Arnold Schwarzenegger's version of Mr. Freeze. Get to the ice chopper! Yeah! That's definitely Arnold Schwarzenegger for sure,
Starting point is 00:10:29 because he's saying things from alien or predator or what? Dylan! You son of a ice! Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So Mr. Freeze, you love being cold. I'll be ice. Now, that's something that you probably pirate Joker can get around as well
Starting point is 00:10:46 is often on the 7C's, it would be quite cold, is that right? Yeah, it is quite cold, but you must understand I'm in a submarine. Oh, okay. Okay, so the Joker is a pirate, but he's also some sort of modern submarine operator. No, it's like a steam punk. I've also got some layers of Captain Nemo from 20,000 leagues on the scene. Right. I was gonna say because in Aquaman there's sub-marine scenes. Yarrr. Sorry, I did a fart. Come with me if you want to. I... Now you're just saying things that aren't Mr. Freeze
Starting point is 00:11:26 You're saying Arnold Schwarzenegger lines from other films and putting I'm so sorry to interrupt you mr. Freeze I was interrogating you but we've got a new person here who are you? You could just go now it's gonna take a while as long as a long day. I'm wrong. So I don't know. Wait for the end of the... I'm Christopher Nolan. Ah, the director of the three Dark Knights movies. Some people, some Batman fans are biggest enemy. Is Christopher Nolan. Okay. Maybe they didn't like the film.
Starting point is 00:12:00 So he is their nemesis. Or he fucked their dad. Well, he did fucked their dad. That would, I'll be like, why don't you? He fucked my dad, but I was like, that's fine. Yeah, that's fine, if you say that. I was lovely to meet you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Remember when you fucked Charlie? Yes, yes, I do. It was in between, it was on the set of the prestige she came to visit. And of course, we were filming a spoiler that day. It was the day we were filming all the young, all of the young Hugh Jackman and I was in a suit because I don't wear tracky dacks, I wear a suit and Charlie came, I showed him around the set, we went back to my trailer, you know one thing led to another, we
Starting point is 00:12:38 had a couple of glasses of rosé and I made love to your father Charlie Bernard, oh yes Chris I got a question for you. What's with the suits? Always in a suit. But then Batman also wears a suit. So to say that one person suit his wrong and one person's suit is right. But Christopher Nolan's suit is made of linen.
Starting point is 00:12:59 And Batman's is made of suit like a carbon weave. Some sort of carbon weave. How do you know that Christopher Nolan's lovely suits aren't made of so far like a carbon weave Some sort of carbon How do you know that Christopher Nolan's lovely, you know suits aren't made of carbon weave? Perhaps he's got a bit of a of a kingpin. You just did it in English accent for a second perhaps Perhaps he's got a bit of a I will it's me. I'm sorry. I was a bit I didn't I didn't introduce myself properly white Who are you? Just white I've been a producer on a lot of my films since the start. And let me tell you, I definitely give her some headaches when I say I'd rather do that
Starting point is 00:13:43 practical. She says, please, Christopher, could we do that with CGI this time? I say, no, we have to do this practical. He's an absolute stickler for us. And I have to say it's one of the things that make me want to suck him off. Now, every day, Mrs. Nolan, Mrs. Nolan, you seem to... Well, I've kept my maiden name. Which is Watson.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Thomas. Thomas? You seem to be Googling something. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no I'm a conduit. I'm able to slip into other people's bodies. I'm more of a spirit than I am. So you've slipped into the body of Mark. Absolutely. So for the bulk of our relationship, you know, she was a blonde British woman. A brunette woman. The photo is your looking at from another phase. Up until her taking over Mark, she was in the body of Brett Ratner. There you go. The disgraced film director. And funny enough, when, uh, break. And funny
Starting point is 00:14:55 enough, when, uh, when Chris fucked Mark's dad, Charlie, and I actually slipped into Charlie's body for just a minute, just kind of like a being John Melz, or like a silly, yes. You see that film ghost? No, but I have seen Out Ghost. Oh, I have you. That's very good, yes. Tell me, what was that experience like? Well, it was very, very moving.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Yeah, all right, yeah. That's great. What was the twist at the end? There was no twist. The ghost was just sort of there. So what did you do in the third act? How did you explain the whole? It's not a film it's real life
Starting point is 00:15:28 Okay, so there's just there's no middle beginning end I was just in bed wait. I was in bed and they came to me and and they said everything will be okay What if the ghosts as you traveling back in time and we could sort of explain that sort of in the third act and move it in the next position? I don't think it would take much exposition just sort of you could sort of go, don't you understand I am the ghost, I have to go back.
Starting point is 00:15:54 I'm concerned about that Chris, I feel like you're adding too much new information in the third act. I don't want to do that, I'd much rather leave it unsaid, but the studio says it has to make sense that they're struggling with the issue of the game. Our idea through. I think we should do it, I think we rather leave it unsaid, but the studio says it has to make sense. They're struggling with it. He's gone away with it. The idea through.
Starting point is 00:16:06 I think we should do it. I think we can make it compromise. And here's the big, here's the best part. Guess who I got to play Broden in the film. I'm not a media Tom Hardy. No, Joseph Gordon-Levitt agreed to do it. He's great. I love him.
Starting point is 00:16:22 What perhaps is wondering if he saw a ghost? Before the knowing him out of the plane. No way, wait, wait. We have a new guest. Who is it? It's me, the scarecrow. Ah, scarecrow. See I thought it was going to be Bane, but it turned out to be scarecrow.
Starting point is 00:16:42 Played of course by the formidable Cillium Murphy, just a wonderful job. Thank you. Now, Skircro, you are a villain made from sort of a farm utensil. Yeah. Farm tools. Yes, yes, yes. I'm preparing to put spooky smoke in all of golf of maybe everyone go a bit, a bit,
Starting point is 00:17:02 Google crazy. A criticism, if I may, you never once scare a crow in the show. There is not a lot of crows in Gotham, but there is a lot of poor people. Poor people. Yes. Well, there was a scene actually where there was a crow in that we did actually have him scaring a crow.
Starting point is 00:17:25 So I said exactly the same thing as you. He said that to Jeff Johns, the head of DC. I said, Jeff, this man's scare crow. We should have him scaring a crow. He said, you're not going to need the scene. You're not going to need it. And we shot it. We shot the whole thing over a week.
Starting point is 00:17:38 There was a crow. He came up. He went, boo. A crow went, oh my goodness. We got it, Robin Williams at the time. or perhaps he was wondering how you'd scare a man You said throwing him out of a plan you sound like Bene You sound like like John Bene Ramsey you sound like no you don't sound like the murdered young girls on Bene Ramsey from the 90s You sound like Tom Hardy's dark night rises villain Bene
Starting point is 00:18:01 Oh! Like Tom Hardy's Dark Knight Rises villain, Bane. Well, I am the scarecrow. For you! Would you like me to play one of Batman's villains? Please. Okay. Oh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:18 How do you divide six apples with... Ridler. Oh, yeah. Watching lovely, lovely voice. Yeah, that's a play with Ridler. Yeah. Yeah, that's a plain little laugh. Yeah. Well, that's a line from, that's a line the Bernayses in Dark Knight, right? So you're accusing this man of actually being vain, pretending to be scarecrow.
Starting point is 00:18:33 No, I'm just, what I'm saying is that if he's scarecrowed, he's put on the voice of Barney. Yeah. And now he's just doing things like he's referencing a little boy who sings the National Anthem and an NF at a football game and You go what a lovely watch you do know that it's pronounced Benny I Did not know that no is your name but no, I'm sorry skier crow
Starting point is 00:18:55 Well, I was born the darkness Okay, well, I think we all are I think it was so were, because it's dark in the uterine. I didn't see the light until I was a man by that window, that's the blind egg. Well, that moved out of Benay for me. That moved to more of a, like a sort of some sort of generic. Well, I am the scarecrow. That's true.
Starting point is 00:19:17 What do you like to play? I'm right, a horsey. I'm happy to sort of ride this if you want to play some, I'm brave. Yeah, okay. Maybe I'll play, or I'll horn, and pull using all these things. You could do a poison, I feel. If you want to play a sub-embrider. Yeah, okay. Maybe I'm playing... I'm...
Starting point is 00:19:26 Poison on you. You could do a poison ivy or you could do a cat woman or you could do a... Aaaaah! You could do a two-fairish perchance. I just said I'm gonna do poison ivy. Okay, say back off. Play that... Back off.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Oh, okay. What's... Jesus, scarecrow. Coming at me. And I don't like it. Please welcome poison ivy I should show you play the drumroll. Yeah, yeah, play that drumroll Hello Poison ivy Ah poison ivy! Ah! Poison ivy!
Starting point is 00:20:05 Yes! I love plants! Well, Poison ivy, please tell me what is your plan to decimate Gotham? My first plan is to rearrange this garden and make it more friendly for local listens and other things. Beautiful area, your garden is your home. Why not remote, grow some vegetables? Yeah, that's good, yeah. This way, God, God, make Australia,
Starting point is 00:20:35 we will be looking at ways to remove old shrubs and turn the area into a fresh new garden. So I don't mean to like pick apart at your character only. It seems like you've done instead of Poison Ivy, of course, this Celtery woman who tempts people and poisons them with her poison skin like rogue. Instead, you've kind of combined Bane and Costa. What's the name of this?
Starting point is 00:20:58 It sounds a lot like scarecrow to me. Yes, and no. People don't use that garden. So what they are, which is a lovely area in your backyard mate. What you call it? Yeah, like, okay. Hi, this is taking a turn.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Get out, boys. Now I'm warning now. Do you hear much time he's been in your garden every week? Well, I'm, uh, perhaps I'm wondering why I'd spend time in a garden Well, before I'm going to do anything You can go ahead and spend time with your kids take your kids a bit away eventually just turning an injury guys get high kids I'm for you I love basketball
Starting point is 00:21:43 I'm on a lot of basketball. Wow. So I'm just going to reel it back in. So this obviously is a discussion about Batman and films of Batman. Do you know at the end, the twist at the end was that Joseph Gordon Levin was Robin and I came up with that. Well, I loved, I don't know what the snake is. I loved that. His just name happened to be Robin, which doesn't quite make a lot of sense. No, it's subtle, but what you'll realize is actually Batman's assistant is Robin, boys.
Starting point is 00:22:15 But maybe his name could have been Dick. Dick, as in Dick Grayson or Tim. Jeff John said that, but he's a big nerd and I said, get out of here, Dreeve, his name's Robin. Well I suppose if you'd made it Tim or Dick, a lot of audience members would have been like, I don't understand, but if you just called it, like, why not make his first name Nightwing? If you're going for it, I don't think a lot of people know who Nightwing is.
Starting point is 00:22:43 I said the same thing to Jeff Johns Hey, he has a question for everyone. Have you guys seen a distella? Yeah, yeah, so very long Matthew McConaughey is doing it with a watch It was about it. You probably couldn't tell it was a bit subtle. It was Murphy's Gouge You know there was a couple of key hints when he says it to the robot. I don't think you're a Batman villain me Yeah, I think you're the director of Batman movies. Yeah, and not He's is my villain. He didn't write to me very well. Who are you?
Starting point is 00:23:16 I'm bad now I've become by now I'm happy to be banned, but I think I'm by now. I'm happy to be banned, but Christopher don't as mine, either what I was gonna be the video. You said like, yeah, but the twist, did you see the twist? That was the lady that had sex with him. Is she had a scar on her back? Which was the giveaway, you sheep,
Starting point is 00:23:34 because even women have scars on their backs. It was very clear to me, very subtle. Yeah, I'm very subtle like that. Tell me anything, tell me anything, any of my movies, and I'll tell you what the twist was. Okay, I didn't do that. Right, what that is, it's I'm pretty sure. I don't know for sure,
Starting point is 00:23:55 there wasn't enough exposition in the third act, but I'm pretty sure that that was, that was, Bailey Joel Osmond. Yeah, but he wasn't the one that Bruce Lewis was dead, that was uh... Ailee Joe Rosman? Yeah, but he wasn't the one that Bruce Willis was dead. As was the mother. They didn't make it very clear. No, I said to them, I gave no to them.
Starting point is 00:24:11 I don't think the mother's dead. Christopher. No, I reckon she is, yeah. You reckon? I guess it's left a bit ambiguous. If I had done it, I would have made the mother dead as well. What about the following? Uh, the following. Which one's that again?
Starting point is 00:24:24 Your first movie. I didn't see that one. You made it. made the mother dead as well. What about the following? Ah, the following. Which one's that again? Your first movie. I didn't see that one. What, you made it. You didn't see. You're having to see that one, yeah. You didn't see your own movie? That's the back of white one, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Yes. Yeah, I'd never got around to watching that. Oh, you... What? That's quite odd that you haven't seen it. Yeah, I just never got a... Oh, you were asking. See, Mark, before I was asking about why I wear the suit. So you like to know yeah, it's just because they're comfy okay suits are comfy
Starting point is 00:24:50 Come to me comfy if any fact you wanted me to say too bad because the truth is it's because they're comfy Hey, well, they are linen shirts, but I imagine breathe a lot better than this every military vest that I'm wearing He's by a nay and who are you? I'm Broden. Oh scary. Can I do can I ask you guys and this is unprofessional on the podcast? Yeah, go for it. You know, this is the first week back. I feel like I'm for you and for you. Yeah, for me. I was trying to do a coaster and I moved to Andrew Gays. Yeah. And you like to just do Andrew Gays. Could I just listen to like 30 seconds of and I move to Andrew Gays. Yeah. And you like to just do Andrew Gays? Could I just listen to like 30 seconds of caster
Starting point is 00:25:27 just for a character thing? Yeah, of course. He's a Greek mat. He's got a big beard. Well, this is all about him. My passion for gardening was sown in my very farthest backyard. Very farthest back yard. In among the fruit trees, the snake beans, the vines,
Starting point is 00:25:42 the vegetables, the chickens, the worms, the compost. He sounds like he showed me the imp... He sounds like he's doing an impression of your Andrew Gays. Or maybe Andrew Gays is doing Costa. That could be correct. It could be Costa's Andrew Gays. Yes. If I had made Costa, I would have made him the bad guy at the end.
Starting point is 00:26:03 So you'd be like, oh this guy's lovely, he does lots of veggies and stuff, and then at the end it would be like, actually he's a bad guy. He should have said to Murphy, I was your tomato plant. Yeah, something like that, I don't really know. We just do a lot of exposition around the herd act saying, actually he's the bad guy, and you'd have a fight with him. Have you ever thought about making your movies a little bit shorter? Um, yeah, but then how do you explain the twist for 20 minutes at the end?
Starting point is 00:26:31 That's a good point. It would then just be complete ambiguity. Yeah, yeah. Which, I mean, works in movies like all the movies I'm ripping off. Yeah. So 2001 is space odyssey. They just went with ambiguity. That worked really well. And I watched that film. I thought, what if we do that movie, but you just explain the end by talking to a robot? And I just want to add to that, the eye contact has started to become intimidating for me. You want the eye contact?
Starting point is 00:26:58 It is, it is quite full on. I'm too old. What do I do? Do I play Costa? Do I play Andrew Gays? They sound very similar. Okay, and just like listen, this is Costa talking about all the different garden things. Listen.
Starting point is 00:27:10 Life. And I'm at my happiest when I've got my hands in the dirt. Okay. You hear that? That's Andrew Gays. That's Andrew Gays. You're getting the boys. Oh wow, they're exactly the same. I'm Costa. But see, Costa and Andrew Gays exactly the same. I'm cost that Cost of an entry guy saying the same and I think they're both great characters. Here's a friend Broden here's the thing I've got an aeroplane flying through the sky a real aeroplane that I'm going to crash into the mountain behind you for real I don't care which character you do just make sure it's consistent. I'm stressing about the aeroplane.
Starting point is 00:27:45 I'm doing it for real. Yes, yes. It practical effects, but perhaps what differentiates the tool? Yes, perhaps. Perhaps. Perhaps the difference between the two. The difference between the two. And perhaps the difference between the two and the difference between the two. And perhaps the difference between the two.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Yeah. Perhaps the difference between the two is one has a passion for basketball and the other has a passion for gardening before throwing him out. Sort of like a bit of a, what's the sort of sub-zero and scorpion kind of situation there? Exactly. Exactly. I like that.
Starting point is 00:28:27 But they just say different things. All right. Well, I've got the confidence to go back and play Costa now. Are you ready? Yeah. But just so you know, the aeroplane will crash into the mountain. I don't care, man. Like that's, like we're doing a podcast and we're villains. You're just keep talking about Christopher Nolan's directorial skills and what he's done in his career. That's hardly villainous. I am Christopher Nolan, though. I'm sorry. I thought you were someone playing Christopher. No. I thought you was that playing Christmaw. No, I thought you... I thought it's... Jesus!
Starting point is 00:29:05 Didn't I say that before? I said this fellow is being so rude to me. Like I have a co-host that has just ignored the point of this podcast. But no, I'm Christopher Nolan. Any questions? I could cast you in my next movie if you're polite enough. How long is your dick? It's about six inches hard. Wow, that's a bad...
Starting point is 00:29:23 Check, see? That's average size. Any question at all. I'm Christian Ellet. It helped me. It's your asshole. It's sort of a diameter of about... When I really stretch it. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:29:37 When I really stretch it, I can get... Three hours? About three hours? About three hours, yeah. Checked it out. Check it out. Same as his movies. Any questions, any questions? No. Any questions for Ben? Any questions for Ben? I do have one question for Costa. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:54 Okay, well, okay. Okay. All right. So, let's take a moment. Let me just say. The scariest of all Batman villains, Costa. Are you ready? You ready for that? I had to. You can do it. It's just, you just do gays, but instead of basketball ready? You're ready for that. I had to. You can do it. It's just, you just do gays, but instead of basketball,
Starting point is 00:30:07 you talk about, it's about gardening. And bulbs. The bulbs, garlic, seeds. And seeds, and that's something. And soil. Sort of,
Starting point is 00:30:15 manure. Miniar. Vegetables. I'm really, and flowers. All right. Snap dragon. And bats's Bats
Starting point is 00:30:25 Big birds Alright So, here we go So, my question to you It's you It's you I'm Costa I love gardening
Starting point is 00:30:34 Garden gloves, garden trails, power gear loppers, watering gear, garden forks, leaf rakes, I love everything in a garden Not basketball No So, Costa, my question to you is Garden forks, leaf rags, all love everything in a garden, not basketball. No. So, Kosta, my question to you is,
Starting point is 00:30:48 I've got a third act twist in my new movie. Oh, it sounds cool. Oh, I'd say that at the movies. So, it turns out, you can make a cinema in your backyard if you want over summer. Oh, that's very good, but here's a twist, right? It is vegetable related. So, the bad guy turns out to be the gardener
Starting point is 00:31:04 that you thought was the friend. It's very shocking. Oh no. But it's a little bit unclear in the initial script. So I was thinking of doing a half hour monologue where two of the characters talk about the fact that he's actually the bad guy, and he explains that he was mad
Starting point is 00:31:20 because they trampled on all of his gardens. But Emma says, that's not a good enough reason. I said, it's the twist that doesn't have to be that good. What's your thoughts? My thoughts are, gardens are an exciting place to spend with your kids and your grandkids as well. How come kids today don't know where a pig comes from? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:40 You just say go to the shop, they get the pig, they take it and I'm an eat it. They don't know, okay, from, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, bit, yeah a little bit. And who are you again? Um, I'm, I'm, I'm brain, I'm happy to say I'm brain. Okay, yeah. Are you met, Costa? Hello? Yes, we've met. I got any questions for each other. Um, Costa's a villain in Batman, he's considering it, but all he knows how to do is how to plant bulbs and what not.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Right, what do I love? What brought you to this podcast? Did you come back to save your garden? You're against this city. No. I can't. No. I came back to feed you.
Starting point is 00:32:37 No, I think you stop. Stop you. Yeah, stop you. Stop you. It's a very powerful line. Ben says, you came back to save your city and Batman says no, I came to stop you He could have said like I came back to rise or something like that, you know name in the movie kind of situation Yeah, it's so many things he could have put down some some sea soul
Starting point is 00:33:01 What is this old sea souls your little super drug for your garden makes it grow real well. Only need a little teaspoon. Fill the lid up, chuck it in there with your bulbs. Well perhaps you could come over and help me with my garden. Before throwing him out of a play. I like that layer. For you. For you. Um, any final thoughts from everyone? Do you mind if I bring in Donald Trump to just say some things real quick? Ohhhhhhh. Too late. I'm here, guys.
