Starting point is 00:00:00 Get our Legends, I'm welcome to another rip episode of the Aunty Donner podcast. This week, Broden Mark & Zach are joined by the legend Michael Hing to play a game of letters and numbers. Make it tacky sometimes and guess we hope you enjoy the motherfucking podcast Welcome to countdown if you're in England and Lot letters and numbers if you're in Australia our friend Michael has become the host of letters and numbers in Australia so we've made him come in and
Starting point is 00:00:47 Host the show on this podcast. Competing, I don't know. Letters and Numbers. Yep. We asked for Lily Serner, but we got Michael. And that's fine. That's fine. The people usually talk over the intro music.
Starting point is 00:01:03 That's how they do. Yeah, hello everyone. Mark Broden, Zach Hello. That's fine. That's fine. The people usually talk over the intro music? That's fine. How does that sound? How does that sound? Yeah. Hello everyone. Mark Broden, Zach Hello. Hello everyone listening. Welcome to Letters and Num, welcome to...
Starting point is 00:01:13 We can do it again. We can do it again where I'm not talking over the music. No, of course not. It's fine. I just want this to be your favorite good time. I want it to be an authentic experience because people hear that and then they watch the show and people and someone isn't talking over it. They might tune now. We just do it again then. Do it again then.
Starting point is 00:01:31 I do it again just before we do it again though. Broden, just sorry, just before we hit play on that again. Just so you know, usually if someone does talk over the intro, it's like they give it a bit, you know, it's a bit more of an intro. I'm not going to fucking do it. I'm's not gonna do it. I just think if you... Michael, just wait and see what happens, eh? Because Rodin's not gonna do it, but just wait and see what happens. Yeah, let's just see what happens.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Okay. All right, welcome to Letters and Numbers. It's about countdown in England. We've got... I need Donner's doing Letters and Numbers. We've got our friends. Oh, if he's gonna talk, then I feel like I should talk as well.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Zach, can I just... It's not a matter of, it was a matter of May talk, was it a matter of May talking over the opening? And now he's singing. No, but letters and numbers. No, but letters and numbers. No, but letters and numbers.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Yeah, okay, that's not, first of all, that's not really the theme song mark. I don't know where you got those lyrics from. And Zach, again, if you're gonna do the intro, I just need you to give a bit more umph to it, you know, like a... I said that wasn't, because I was, I was giving a little more than bread and...
Starting point is 00:02:30 I was, I was here, I was watching that and I didn't feel anything. I felt nothing. Yeah. I felt that it's interesting. I had to come in with a bit of a sing song, because I felt like I'm in a... Zach talks like that and you're calling me dead. Zach talks like that, and you're, oh, he's... Wow. I'm trying to come in here, advocate for your
Starting point is 00:02:51 high-energy narration bullshit, and then you come for me. I thought I did a stellar job. I thought I did the really good job. Given your limitations as a performer, of course you did well, but I think you can, I think you know, you of course you did well But I think what you can I think you you know you want to you want to reach beyond that Zach Yeah, why don't we give it rodon one more go. Okay. I'll stay quiet
Starting point is 00:03:15 You know I don't care No me and Broden are gonna stay quiet. Let's see what happens. Hey. All right. Let's see what happens eh? Alright, let's see what happens. Wait. Oh. Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh!
Starting point is 00:03:31 Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhh!
Starting point is 00:03:39 Ahhhhhhh! They're corn! They go corn the cabin! Ahhhhhhh! Caramel! Caramel! Cut him off! Cut off my fucking nuts! This fucking the cabin, fuck! I, so Michael, hands up, hands up.
Starting point is 00:03:54 Now that I've seen that, I will say I understand what you were going for. Do you see how it was? Yeah, it was, yeah, it was, yeah. Now we're all involved. Now we're like, oh, what's happening? Exciting things happening on TV. We want to, oh, we want to get involved. Oh we're like, oh, what's happening? I'm just excited things happening on TV. We want to get involved. Oh my goodness. You know, great work, Mark.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Did you get permission from your bosses that led us in numbers before you came on this podcast and pretended to do letters and numbers? I told them I was doing a comedy podcast. It was very popular. I didn't tell them the we'd probably be reaching. Oh Joe Rogan. Yeah, I told them I was doing Joe Rogan.
Starting point is 00:04:23 I was like, I was like, give me that horse paste. Oh, you're rigging about. And then this is my Joe Rogan impression, right? It's a two-part impression. It's Joe Rogan and the guest. What are you rigging about? And then like a question about a thing that that guest is ill-equipped to answer.
Starting point is 00:04:40 And then the guest, oh, you know, and that's my impression of Joe Rogan. Oh, um, oh, that's it. He's my impression of the Christopher Walken. Hey, a guy. Okay, could you do Joe Rogan being interviewed by Christopher Walken? No, I refuse, fuckhead. Alright.
Starting point is 00:05:07 After you have any impressions you want to share with the class? Um, no, not really. Maybe someone who's just buffed in the sink. Alright, how's that going? Oh, yes, yes, yes! Yeah. I don't know, you don't really say much after you do that. You're just going to... What if I add a little tension to the scene?
Starting point is 00:05:25 Yeah. Knock, knock, knock. I'm coming into the bathroom right now. Don't come in here. I just spooked in the sink. Is that amazing that as soon as you add conflict? Yeah, then there's more to say. That's when the drama comes to life.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Yeah, yeah. Is this how you usually host letters and numbers? Because if it is, you're doing a bad job. Yeah, it's terrible. Just on the spoofing in the sink. Yeah. It's that? Bad letters and numbers.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Yeah, I know. But the start of the show usually gets to know everyone. So I might do something like, all right, three guests tonight. You might know them from the very popular sketch comedy troupe, aren't you, Donna? They haven't got a lot of stuff. Let's talk about the one.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Do it. Have the confidence to do it, Michael. Yeah. Oh, I might do this, I might do this, I might do this. I don't usually do this. Back yourself. Sometimes I do this, just jump in. All right.
Starting point is 00:06:14 This is SBS, yes. So you wouldn't have anti-donor on you'd have the cast of Wilfred. Yeah. I don't know what Wilfred is, but is that some sort of show that we put on our network? No, it's a dog show. Oh of dog show that we put on our network? No, it's a dog show.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Oh, dog show. From the days of SBS comedy. Sorry, I didn't show about a talking dog. Or Danger 5. Danger 5. I was gonna say Danger 5, but that was from more recently. I was trying to reach back. I wish I'd gone back to Fat Pizza.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Fat Pizza was really the go. I think Fat Pizza was really the best. Use Topia. Oh, what's the one, the food one, the one where they try different countries food? It's got like... Well look, anyway, this is tanking. So if I could just... Yeah, tank, right back to us.
Starting point is 00:07:01 I was about to make a Gerald Eden do... do a reference. I think we've got to pull this back to our target. I was about to make a Gerald Eden do the reference. I think we're gonna pull that back to our target. Take the Ryan thing. So, we are joined today by one of the most popular sketch comedy troops in the world. You would know them from their Netflix series.
Starting point is 00:07:17 You might know them from their popular stage shows. And you might know them for their viral YouTube hits like Suck Enough A Bucky and Spoofing in the Sync. It's Auntie Donna. We're joined by Mark, Zach and Broden. Let's get to know our guests. Mark, you were just talking to us, interestingly, about spoofing in the Sync. Is that something you regularly do? I spoof exclusively in Sync. Good to know. So, yeah, I don't like it. In sync, yeah, like two n-sync, in sync to the music and in syncs. I'm a very peculiar spoofer.
Starting point is 00:07:52 It needs to be all the... Spoofing, in sync, in sync. In sync. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And how do you think you know where the puzzles are? Mark? Look, if you're...
Starting point is 00:08:03 You know, if the puzzle is, it's a puzzle show. It's a puzzle show. It's a puzzle show. I know. Why? What did you think this was? I thought it was synced spoofing.
Starting point is 00:08:14 No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. That's on Saturday when you come over my house. No, this is a puzzle show. I'm not sure how I'll go. I'm, I think, what's referred to as most people as a dumb cunt. So we'll see how we go with the letters and the nut. I think I'll do better with the numbers
Starting point is 00:08:32 than I will the letters, but I think I'm gonna struggle greatly with both the numbers and the letters. So I'll see. Bro, don't know how you feeling. You feeling confident today? Will you go to Maths? We better at Maths or English at school.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Uh, uh, in your nine, I, this is true. I told my maths teacher I was gonna shove a pair of scissors up his ass. Um, what? I, uh, I, uh, I failed your nine maths, so I never did it again. Because you spread your teacher with violence? No, I was just like, I was like, I was, you know, I didn't want it, I was bad at it, I didn't pay attention. And then like, I got to the point where I was like,
Starting point is 00:09:12 you can go to the really bad maths, or you can just stop doing that. Stop doing maths. I'm gonna have to really make it as a creative person now. Right, I've got real problems. Right, really say that to your math teacher, because that's like delinquent for headless. That's why you're that's violent.
Starting point is 00:09:29 That's like that, that's. I mean, can I get you a little bit more? I didn't say it's that way, it's that way. It's that way, it's that way. Framing device, framing device. I don't think I should be ridiculed for being open. I'm not the only trouble maker here. Oh, I thought you were a teacher.
Starting point is 00:09:43 I thought you were a teacher. You shouldn't be allowed on the streets, but this is the way I said it. This is why he came out to me. He came out to me. I was not doing my work. He went, you should be doing your, and before this, he used to, he was a cunt. But you, you, you should be doing it. I said, you, you do that again. I'll stick them where the sun don't shine or some shit like that. Oh, right, right, right. Right. And did he, did he smack the scissors? Did he call shine or some shit like that. Oh, right, right. And did he smack the scissors? Did he call the police?
Starting point is 00:10:08 You should be doing that, you know, like that. What kind of scissors were they? Were they a pair of pink and she is? I think there were like textiles ones because maybe we were like moved to the textiles room. Anyway, I- He's smacking the scissors. He said that's smacking the scissors.
Starting point is 00:10:21 So like the piece into me. He said to me, he'll pair the scissors. Where were the scissors in this? Were scissors part of the action because that's Thank you, broden. All right our third guest. You might know most the long hair person in the group. It's Zach Zachary Rewain Zachary No, I'm not a bad person. I'm not a bad person. No, I just it's no one saying that I've always had a view in high school. He's of like, like an adult. A little con.
Starting point is 00:10:46 You pick to just look as an adult. Yeah, yeah, yeah, just a little con. And like, the problem is, I fear to say anymore because the repercussions may be that I get a f*****g hair on that. You mean I'll f**k kill you. You f*****g shoved up my ass. That's what I'm saying is like, what you have described without context,
Starting point is 00:11:04 there's still, we're still halfway to context, is like the link with behavior. Like, if I came from a less, if I came from a, like a rough apart of the world, or if there weren't enough of a, a good community around me, yeah, I could be in jail right now. That's fair. Mm. The scissors related crimes. Yeah. Zach, have you ever threatened a human being safety with a pair of scissors? To help with the audience, I'm kind of the Elijah Wood
Starting point is 00:11:33 to Andy Donner's Wilfred. Does that make sense? This is who I... Or Adam Zwa. Or Adam Zwa. Okay. Okay. You know there was an Australian Wilfred Zach.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Yeah. Yeah. You did the American Reaction of Wilfred. I'm talking about the one on SBS. Right. And were you a dog for that? No, I don't know why. That's why I would slash Adam's one.
Starting point is 00:12:00 Right. Was the friend of the dog. Oh, I can't. And so who's the dog in this situation? Brodens the dog. friend of the dog. Oh, I can't understand that. And so who's the dog in this situation? Brodyn's the dog, Mark's the dog. Brodyn is the girlfriend that can't hear the dog. Mark is the dog. The dog. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:12:19 And you. And you. The casting. You are the host of letters and numbers. I'm the host of letters and numbers. All right. What the old letters and numbers. He talked to that guy. Did you guys have a coffee? Yeah. Did you sit down and be like, what do you, what's the vibe here? It's like, Michael, I'm happy to give you the role. I understand. Here's my metaphorical passing of the talk. Yeah, was it a passing of the talk? I thought I wanted to know.
Starting point is 00:12:45 They kept him away from me, because I think they were worried that, oh obviously, because of COVID stuff, but I think they were also worried that he'd be like, what are you doing to my beautiful show? He come out. So he chaps at the others.
Starting point is 00:12:57 And was very excited about the show. And then they kept me away from him, which, you know, was he hanging around, was he lurking? No, he lives in a lovely house in like regional New South Wales which, you know, was he hanging around, was he lurking? No, he lives in a lovely house in like, regional New South Wales, but, you know, so he did, he was the dream. Was it sort of like a bit of a George Lucas
Starting point is 00:13:11 on the set of the last Jedi? Okay, can I tell you, I, because obviously we get these lines from the PR department to say, just say that he approved for the whole thing, but can I tell you that when I was at, day it was announced that I was going to be doing the show, a car drove by my house at like two in the morning. And I heard a huge screech of tyres and then a smash and then I went downstairs and someone
Starting point is 00:13:39 had thrown a brick through our window. And there was a note tied to the brick, and it said, you fucking can't. You've stolen everything I love, and I will fucking kill you. And then it was signed M, sorry, R-M, was signed R-M. Williams. Yeah, I think it was R-M Williams who did it.
Starting point is 00:13:59 It wasn't really. Yeah, wow. It was R-M Williams who did it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, actually, I'm happy for you to take the mantle. I'm living in my small house in regional New South of Wales and glad to see the concept carry on. That's...
Starting point is 00:14:15 That's... Ad Brayk. Ad Brayk. So if you're just joining us, quite a twist, Michael michael hang out guess is revealed that you jackman threatened his life you jackman as a uh... minority shareholder of the rm williams brand threatened his life we don't know why how do you know that
Starting point is 00:14:39 how do you know that you better in this i'm doing better in this than i expected with my life i don are doing knowledge of maths. Yeah, we're crushing. What are the, can we get a score update? Currently, marks on zero, Zach's on zero, and Brodans on three for some reason. I don't know why, because we haven't actually played any games yet.
Starting point is 00:14:56 Yeah, that's because I'm the muscle. It's unfair. Actually, because he's threatening me with a pair of scissors. Yeah. I never threatened anyone with a pair of scissors, apart from Mr. Was it like, so I guess what I'm asking, Bronan, was it more of just like a You you snapped and used colorful language and he took it to be and he's like go outside
Starting point is 00:15:17 But that's no way I failed it was a you know, yeah, it wasn't like you I'm gonna fucking stab you can't Yeah, it wasn't like you I'm gonna fucking stab you can't Yeah, that I'm gonna fucking stab you with these fucking scissors kind and then like you spent six months in Juvee and like Because there is that six months that we didn't see you like because we were all friends and I But there's that six months that you went away and we didn't see you so I wasn't sure whether that was Juvee or whether that was something else That's the last trying to find the right sound Sometimes trying to find the right sound. I was trying to find the right, I became Gosling in Lala land, kept obsessed with the sound.
Starting point is 00:15:52 You know what, I thought that was you were at a coming of age, semi-autobiographical late 90s independent film, you were driven out of a hole in an Ethan Hawke type, was the first person that talked to you as an equal, thus inspiring you to find your creativity. Mark, talk about you get a pad and pen so we could do numbers and letters. Let's do so. We're always talking about my lineage of childhood angst.
Starting point is 00:16:16 All right, so the way this first game is going to work is it's an anagram game, okay? It's an anagram game. Mark, you can have first pick of the board. You'll be able to pick a consonant or a vowel. You get nine in total. And you get to pick one by one whenever you're ready. I'll pick a vowel. E is your first vowel.
Starting point is 00:16:38 E, the letter E for egg. Play along at home. I'll have a vowel, please. Another vowel, okay? I is your second letter.. I have a vowel, please another vowel. Okay. I is your second letter Great can I have a vowel? Yep. You be an idiot your third vowel is a Great. He's free to do whatever he wants. All right, so please don't please don't criticize mark on what is he? You might ruin the game my I'm not I'm not a game. I'm crap. I'm gonna trust you mark another vowel. Okay. Oh
Starting point is 00:17:03 It's your fourth vowel. Oh. Could I have a vowel? A vowel? Yep, E, again. Is it any of the behavior? Uh huh. Could I have a vowel?
Starting point is 00:17:14 You, you as your sixth vowel. Remember, you get nine letters. You get nine letters for it. Oh, great. Nine? Yep. Could I have three more vowels? Three more vowels, okay. Your three more vowels. Three more vowels. Okay, you have three last vowels.
Starting point is 00:17:25 A, I, and E. Okay, how come you have a piece so much? How do I look? Can I just say, sorry man, I spoke a little too soon. I didn't see what you were going for. Love it. Okay, so you're going to get your letters out.
Starting point is 00:17:39 E, I, A, O, E, U, A,I-E, and your time to find a word starts now. And this is where we'd usually play the music,. I've got one. If you're finished, have you finished? Just so I won't visually ever understand smart I am. Times up, pens down everybody. Mark, how many letters is your longest word? I believe I have three. Three? Congratulations. All right, Broden, can you beat three? Yeah, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Starting point is 00:18:35 No, I got nine. Nine. You got a nine. Incredible stuff. And Zach, how'd you go? I got one. One. All right, Zach will start with you. What is your one letter word? I got... one all right Zach will start with you. What is your one letter word? Oh? Oh? Sorry, can you say an assent in spores? I didn't quite get that is that oh I need to see you there Hmm is that Christopher Walker doing that? Oh, I didn't see you there No, it's me the old host of letters and numbers come to haunt you Michael This is a joke where I've kill him and he's all right.
Starting point is 00:19:07 Oh, okay, that's one point. For Zach, Mark, you had a three letter word, was it? What was your word? I have three or 12. Three or 12. Yeah. Well, get the, you've got to pick actually, you've got to pick one. What do you want to do?
Starting point is 00:19:22 Because obviously, the 12 letter word might not actually be a real word So you got you might be gambling if you go higher. So we're doing it 3 or 12. I will do three. What's your three little I have a nine The three is Have you spell it? E E E okay, great and an exclamation mark. Sure, well that, that was the...
Starting point is 00:19:47 That's actually four. That's actually four. It's actually four and there wasn't an exclamation mark on the board. Mark, did you see the... Well, that's not a letter. Well, you've just added that in randomly. So that's someone's ringing me. Eeeeeeee!
Starting point is 00:19:59 Ooh, bro, this phone's ringing. Bro, it's gonna get the phone and that's... Does this happen on the show? Yeah, we had Hamish Blake on his phone went off and it was... What are these phones, are you? Bones are gonna get the phone, and that's, does this happen on the show? Some of them. Yeah, we had Hamish Blake on his phone went off, and it was the quarantine police checking on him as well, so. Yeah, right, right, there you go.
Starting point is 00:20:13 There you go. Why did he bring his phone on set? No, he didn't, really, he was a professional. He was a lovely, lovely, lovely, I'm back. I'm back. Was that the cops? Well, they like, I'm in hotel quarantine.
Starting point is 00:20:23 They just wanted to see if I needed fresh linen. Did you? No, I got fresh linen the other day. Mark, could you please use your word E in a sentence? Yeah. Oh, God, I'm spoofed in this sink. Oh, someone's knocking on the door. Eeeeeee!
Starting point is 00:20:44 And then I come through the door and I say, Oh, I didn knocking on the door. Eee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-ee- Oh, right. That's come on up. That sound is for lovers, not for friends. I make love to myself. No, but it's the same for lovers, not for friends. The thing I just threw to get through the day, no, no, no, I set the mood, I set the tone. It's beautiful. I make love to myself, because I care about myself. Can I, be honest, this is not how the show's meant to go.
Starting point is 00:21:26 This would make the cut though. I think it would be a good idea to get on this field. I'm uproading. What was your nine-letter word? Okay. Incendiary. Incendiary. How do you spell that?
Starting point is 00:21:38 INSENDIY. Incendiary. Unfortunately, Broden, you spell in Cendiary with a C, I believe. Oh, yeah. So, no points for Broden, unfortunately. Sorry, everyone. So, score update. Zach is on one point.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Mark is on three points, and Broden's on three points, because he's starting. He's the yearward in the big year. Yeah, it is. Yeah. Oh, well, I don't know. I just points because it's a year word in the big day it is yeah, oh well I don't know I just try I'd it's a trust it's a we do this is a trust is a day but I still the SPS it's an honesty system Zach and if I can't trust you to play the game properly I mean police you sell a new element of this show that does not used enough is
Starting point is 00:22:21 there should be a cause there's so many nerds there should be you should bring into balance the bully element you can go like you're right this down like so like yeah I'm wrong but I'm gonna use the bully if you don't give me the point some a bash you you know like high school you know and is this your addition to do that bro do you want to be the bully for the games no you need someone who's like more just a regular bully, not like an unhinged knife kid. Yeah, not someone who's actually going to hurt their mass people. The unhinged Cizukid is not the only one who's the other the resident of the country. To put in context, a few weeks earlier, I'd been talking in class and he said,
Starting point is 00:23:03 Broden, you're not on stage now, it's not about you, he said. So I was the musical kid, you know, the musical boy. You were musical. Could you sing Broden? Can I sing? That's a funny, we're thinking to do. Please take another. That's your answer. You just saw something little feature to sketch right here on the screen.
Starting point is 00:23:32 That's so funny. Can I sing yeah, you tell me. Do you want my honest opinion? Or do you want me to just know, move on? I think let's move on. And now that I know that the man teased you for your food bigger theater kid, I understand. I threatened every person to take me to the
Starting point is 00:23:55 big theater kid in my country town. I killed 40, 400 people. I didn't go into the class with a fucking stick of dynamite. And remember Zack, the week before Broden was being a distraction and the teacher asked him not to be. So he had every right to threaten the man. I'm giving him a context. But then he's gonna take a pair of fucking scissors
Starting point is 00:24:21 of the guy's asshole. All right. I think everyone knows. I think I've been clear with the audience. Oh, that's fun. It's so funny. People know the dignity. People know me.
Starting point is 00:24:34 People know who I am. People know my character. You know, sometimes someone will say something and they think it's not a big deal and then it's clearly a very big deal. For example, when Broden said, I threatened with Jesus' work sample. I had this thing like that happen to me recently,
Starting point is 00:24:53 where I, a person, oh, sorry. I wasn't actually gonna do it. In many ways, the artist apology makes it slightly more real. Anyway. Anyway. I was, I was, was he tapping the scissors? Where were the scissors when he was talking to you? I was talking to like someone, like,
Starting point is 00:25:12 your Reese or something. Uh huh. That's right. Hello, hello, I'll be Reese. Hi, bro. I'm with you. I'll be with Reese. Anyway, I've met a couple of times.
Starting point is 00:25:21 Can you, young and young, and then a bit Jack? Cause remember, you need to focus on your work. And what's he tapping? The table. What's he tapping with? Scissors. Yeah, right. So that is key for you.
Starting point is 00:25:33 That would even your scissors. They were his scissors. Yeah. I don't know why he's in a salt. He's a theft in a salt. He was attacking me in many ways. I don't think anyone would have been able to tell me. I'm tapping scissors. Tapping them on tables. He was attacking me in many ways. I don't think anyone would have been able to tell you what the terrible things are.
Starting point is 00:25:45 Tapping them on tables. And now I said, you can smack at my table, I'll shove them where the sun don't shine. And was this just sort of... It was just in the parlance of where you went to school? Was that sort of what... Was that what people used to say? Was it a public school?
Starting point is 00:26:01 Was it public school? People just used to threaten people to shove things where the sun don't shine. No, no, no, I was trying to be funny. Oh, it's not good. If I was in the... And so, do maths. Would you say it's one of your biggest regrets?
Starting point is 00:26:13 This is the best context of this good, bro. And the reason I've dug is because I thought there was probably a few people listening that thought, oh my God, Broden threatened the man with his scissors, with scissors, thought of juvenile delinquent, Broden threatened the man with his scissors, with scissors, thought of juvenile delinquent, brought it at the back of the class, going, oh, fuck it, stab you,
Starting point is 00:26:29 with a pair of scissors. Did come across that way. I think as a duty to my friend Broden, I need to dig because I reckon what happened was Broden made a joke as an equal to this man, thinking he would be able to ascertain the tone and I was like, I know Broden, I have a good read of who he was as a teenager, I don't think he threatened a man
Starting point is 00:26:51 with a pair of scissors. I'm going to dig until he doesn't do himself a libel. Canapoint. So that's why I did that for you. Canapoint, I think Broden threatened an old man with some scissors, that's what I think happened. So that's so. I think it was a little bit more like Broden threatened an old man with some scissors. That's what I think happens. So that's what I think it was a little bit more. I grew up.
Starting point is 00:27:07 I think it was a little bit more like Broden was like a wise guy at a 1930s movie. So still the same character. I was like a real wicker. It was a wicker you, the Runeo rock. Well, they both exist. I don't know what you're saying. They both get there both people.
Starting point is 00:27:23 I don't really see either of them, I think. I don't know. But is. They both get there, both people. It doesn't really suit either of them, I think. I don't know, but just on people sort of weirdly-mitting things. I hope, no, that I'll stick with it. The sun doesn't shine. Mickey Rooney. Mickey Rooney. All right, just done, I've just done the musical
Starting point is 00:27:35 Anything Goes, which was like about, you know, cheeky gangsters of the 30s. And he's singing that for Talos. Did you sing that? Did I sing it? It. Oh. He pleased regalus with your, I'm sure to be hilarious anecdote.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Oh, I was just going to say that I was in the presence of an older comedian recently. And they were taught easy. No, it wasn't easy. Please don't try and guess. We's all going to work in October 25 here. Yeah, yeah. Mail on the screen. It's all going to work in October 25 here. Well, I walked in.
Starting point is 00:28:13 These two meetings were chatting. And this one committee was saying to the other. I just walked in on this conversation where he was explaining the different guns, the different armies used around the world. And he's like, so I know if you're using an M16, you're part of the American, or whatever, blah, blah, blah. And I was like, just trying to, like,
Starting point is 00:28:28 one of the comedians, the person who was being told about the guns was clearly very bored and by this conversation. So I just tried to alleviate the situation by like kind of making a dumb joke. So I said, oh, you can't tell them about guns, they look like a high school shooter, just trying to alleviate the situation.
Starting point is 00:28:46 A stupid joke we can all walk away. And this older comedian goes, no, seriously, that's what they said about me when I was in high school. Everyone said that I'm gonna go get a gun and come back to the school and kill everybody. And this, this is before Columbine. So, wasn't even used then. And he thought it was a fun joke.
Starting point is 00:29:09 And we're all like, that's wild and crazy. Anyway, that's what I feel like, um, broke happened to me. I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm not gonna hurt anyone. We'll see. I'm a simple comedian. Yeah. I use my words of daggers. There you go. It's time to do another...
Starting point is 00:29:30 It was a maths game. Well do the maths game, but I just want to say Brody. A lot of people when they heard that story they were thinking, this guy sounds like a regular late 80s, early 90s, Mickey R Mickey Rock and then we dug a little deeper you were you were in a late 80s early 90s Mickey Rock in his troubled period you were in fact at 1930s top of his game Mickey Roy and inside I'm really a Mickey Mouse hmm you know You know, I'm a, uh, a, like, a huge, You're a glomerate that crushes all in its bro.
Starting point is 00:30:09 You're, uh, you're an image that, that has been used to completely decimate the copyright and trademark laws of the United States and the world. What are the numbers? The number's game. All right. Uh, Broden, you can pick the numbers now. You get six in total. You get to pick large or small numbers. Right. Just tell me me how many larger how many small you'd like the large ones a 25 50 7500 and the small ones are one to 10 what would you like? Yeah, I will start with a veil
Starting point is 00:30:34 Not okay, so we've moved on from that broden. We're gonna go with numbers now, so Yeah, okay You can have a big one, a big one. Like, all right, you have eight. And you also have a 50, your first, a and 50. You've got four wanna pick. So I can do algebra with this.
Starting point is 00:30:57 Of course you can. What else would you like? Small, small. Your small is nine Yeah, I hope we get it six yeah Big 75 Yeah, fuck you And another big
Starting point is 00:31:21 100 Yeah, that's fucking big Fuckin' and a small fucking number That's fucking huge It's a fucking massive stuff Six is your thing Oh we did get the six that's hot on this I hope it's 69
Starting point is 00:31:34 We're not seeing the one I was talking to You've got to try and get two Wait, what are the numbers? I want really counting A-R We could go get if you don't want A It's up to Broden really? Broden, do you want to play seriously? Don't be a worse try and do it with the ball. Go seriously. We'll go seriously. We'll go to keep A. You want to be one or a small one? We'll keep A. Okay, we'll do that.
Starting point is 00:31:58 All right, so your numbers again are A, 50, 9, 75, 106. and your target is I randomly generated here 100 come on 100 I hope has a in it yeah 168 168 is your target. It's not music. And your time starts now. You look actually like you genuinely try. Great. Time's up. Mark, did you get to the target 160 as the target? How, what target did you get to? Yep, I got 168.
Starting point is 00:33:07 100 stack, congratulations. Bro, did you get the target? I got 212. That's out of the points and Zach, did you get the target? Yeah, well close, I got six. Sorry, you got what? Six, I got six. Okay, well, we'll start with you, Zach.
Starting point is 00:33:22 How did you get to six? So I took the six. And then Well, we're going to start with you, Zach. How did you get to six? So, I took the six. Uh-huh. And then what did you do with it? What? Zach, what did you do with the six? So, I took that six. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:33:34 And what did you do with it? Mm-hmm. Yeah. And that was all you did with it? Yeah. So, you just wrote down the number six is what you did. Yeah, I took the six. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Yeah. Do you know what you were trying to do? Well, I ran out of time. I did run out of time. It took you 30 seconds to write down the number six. Yeah. Do you feel good about yourself? No. No, and I, I mean, I had pretty good relationships
Starting point is 00:34:02 with most of my math teachers. So this is in embarrassing. I only threatened the lives of three of them, so this is... Mark, you got the answer. How did you go? Yep. Okay, so, um, in mine, A equals 168.
Starting point is 00:34:22 A equals a hundred and sixty-eight. Yep. And so then the, uh, the sum is A. A equals 168. A equals 178. Yep. And so then the sum is A. A equals 168. Oh, that's correct. It's pretty clever. It's getting pretty clever. It's getting pretty clever.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Mark gets 10 points. Broden, how did you actually try and play Broden? What did you do? Yeah, so I'm showing you my working out here. Oh, yeah. I got a 100 plus 75. Uh-huh. Uh, minus. At this point, you are seven away. Oh yeah, I got a 100 plus 75
Starting point is 00:34:49 At this point you are seven away. Yeah minus nine So that's 166. It's pretty close plus 50 Plus six, okay, so what so you were so close and then you sort of added 56 to that for some reason I don't know why you did that. Can I do the lily-sense? What? No Broden remember remember remember what we told you a little less Mickey rock a little more Mickey runie
Starting point is 00:35:22 Rocky Rock, a little more Mickey Rooney. Yeah, I'm so sorry. I said flashbacks. So you're angry, but what do you say? Not I'm gonna fuck a girl, you say? Yeah, why, why, why, I'm sorry. The wrestler was a real, wait. So you say something like, hey, why is he going? Get out of here.
Starting point is 00:35:40 Come on, I think you should do a little less Mickey Rock and a little more Rodney Dangerfield. I think you do a very good, very Ralk and a little more Rodney Dagerfield. I think you do a very good brother. I got troubles. Oh, I got troubles at Plenty. Oh, you don't know the troubles I got. So does that feel better now, actually? As a trained actor, Broden, because we're having a fun time here.
Starting point is 00:35:57 You're just a dear boy. You're dropping in and out of characters here. Do you ever worry when you take on the character of an unhinged youth that you might, because obviously the character, the person you play on the podcast is this deranged idiot who's violent and thug-ish and no one likes him and he's sort of a brute. Do you worry that you will lose yourself in that character and never recover? Because you're such a, you know, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a Oh! Is this character fucking? Is that the fucking noise? Is that the come noise? Yeah. Oh. Oh! That's great!
Starting point is 00:36:52 That's a weird part of the song, man. Canny Singh! Wow! Yes, yes, yes! You've been listening to the Antidona Podcast. Thanks for joining us for another rip-episode brought to you by AntidonaClub.com. See you next week! you
