Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to Betcher Happy Hour.
I'm Joe.
And I'm Serena.
And we are going to recap this week's episode.
And later this week, we are going to have Jen on who got the one-on-one date.
Almost got proposed to.
Almost.
So close.
They teased it.
So, yeah, we're going to have her on later this week.
Can't wait to talk to her.
And we are going to recap, uh, the episode episode two, episode numero tries.
What?
That's right.
That's right.
That's right. Do you know I spoke so many languages?
I, for some reason I was thinking this is episode, was episode two.
So no, episode three.
We're really, really wrong.
And I took notes.
Flying through this season.
We've got our notes.
We've got coffee and liquid IV and we're ready to roll.
Let's do it.
Um, okay.
So first thing we could talk about would be the talent show.
Yep.
pageant show talent show talent pageant same thing i think it was like bachelor pageant because it had
three different sections to it and we had the asking ladies from the golden bachelor come and host
which was april susan kathy shout at kathy i love you and nancy who we've met all of them and they're
wonderful and it's exciting to see them on our screens again i think we will probably see them on
our screens forever apparently forever as long as there's a bachelor franchise
they will make an appearance in an episode.
The appearances have been nonstop.
You know what's actually funny is I feel like I've seen Askin make more appearances than
Gary at this point.
Yeah.
Gary's like,
I'm married.
I'm settled down.
Ladies,
take it away.
He did it.
He did his job.
Okay.
So what was what else?
What went down on this?
So there was the three sections.
They had the PJ section, which is like the swimsuit competition, but for PJs.
The Q&A, which is like.
like when they asked them like about world peace.
And then the talent show.
I feel like the talent part was the most like eventful.
Like nothing was majorly stand out from the PJs or the Q&A.
And Lexi won because she made out with them.
Tots.
But you said,
you said it while we were watching it.
Work work harder.
Work.
Smarter not harder.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because a lot of the girls and I can understand why they were feeling frustrated because like it's.
uncomfortable a lot of these dates and you're putting yourself out there and you're feeling a
little embarrassed out of your comfort zone like doing these silly tasks but like that's kind of the
name of the game and they're trying to win mrs wright and lexie i would say put little to no effort
into her talent but at the end of the day work smart or not harder like she didn't put in a lot
of effort she didn't really have to do anything that was like super embarrassing like there was no
flips and tricks and singing and dancing.
I knew she was getting it.
It was just a simple makeout and she crushed.
Did he give her a rose or what did he do it?
She just won the Mrs.
So she won the Mrs. Wright page.
I don't think, I think it's understandable why people were like,
well, now I feel embarrassed because I put myself out there
and I could have just made out with you
or like not put myself out there because it seems like I wouldn't have won it anyway.
But at the end of the day, like it's just not that deep.
It's a group day.
Maybe you're a little embarrassed.
Move on.
Agreed. The number one thing I related to the entire episode was the end. The end of the whole episode?
The end when Jesse was eating KFC and just like... Well, that was the best part of the episode. That was actually so funny.
Honestly, girls, you have to go home.
That's like, it's just like, it's just like, it's just like, it's, it's just like, it's, it's, just, but it is when you're there and at the moment, I mean, we can both test to like, when you're there, everything feels like a really big deal.
But from our perspective and from all the viewers, it's like, this is just a fun reality TV show about love.
Yeah.
And Joey's journey and, you know, try to not take it too seriously.
It's crazy, though, how, yeah, like when you're in, when you're in it, it's like everything.
And then when you step out, you're like, oh, no.
Yeah, it's really, like, everything when you're there, even afterwards, like, well, it's airing.
I feel like it's easy to get so consumed by this journey and this world.
I feel like the only person who, like, I'm like, yeah, okay, like, you can get consumed by it is, like, the lead because it really is their journey.
What do you mean after?
No, like, I think everyone has a right to get consumed by it.
But, like, you got to do your best to kind of separate.
separate yourself and take a step back and be like, okay, it's not that serious. It's a, it's a fun
pageant competition on a cool reality show about finding love where you're going to look stupid
where you might look silly sometimes. But like I can understand the lead maybe being someone to
like overthink it and take it really seriously because they have a lot of responsibility
riding on their shoulders. Yeah, I would I would absolutely hate doing a talent show.
It's okay. So what would your talent be? What would you do? Do you even know? I was thinking about
I was like, I don't know what I would do.
I don't know.
I would copy Joan in the Golden Batchettcher.
I'd like write a cute poem.
That was probably what I would do.
Yeah, I would maybe do it.
I would be like a mime.
A mime?
Yeah.
Like in Starski and Hutch.
Okay, let's move to the, let's move to the night portion.
The after party.
This, okay, so when Joey, the after party, when Joey, like, I, watching the show you
could really pick up on body language, especially,
with the lead and you could tell when the lead is really into somebody and when he is just
you know more friendly yeah just like yeah someone because at the end of the day there's 30 something
women and he's only going to really catch feelings for a few 100% the show would be an absolute
failure if he fell in love with all 30 yeah that's a whole different kind of show um but I will say
I think he really and this is the first time I think we're really seeing her he really likes
Kelsey A.
Kelsey A.
She's like slowly coming out of the woodwork.
Like I remember her from night wine because she wore like a tinkerbell green dress.
And I remember she did the voodoo doll thing.
But we haven't really seen that much of her.
Like I was like, oh, maybe she's like a sleeper where like it's not really there.
But this episode kind of revealed like there's definitely a connection there.
I think he like said I'm really into it.
I was going to say every lead does it where they like reassure the person that they're into it.
at the beginning, like, oh, I just want to let you know, like, I'm really like, like,
I want you here.
Like, I, even though we're not.
I like how your eyes just got big like the leaves do.
Like, it's like, hey, I mean it.
Like, I'm trying to tell you something.
I know, I know I can't spend that much time with you right now, but I don't want you to
leave.
Don't freak out.
Stay here.
And I think she really likes him.
They're cool together.
They're cool together.
You know who we didn't see a lot on this episode was Jess.
I know that's kind of jumping out of order
But she's just been like
I could jump out of order
No no no we're good
Okay so then Medina tells Joey
So she says I was bullied
She doesn't say from who
Well she says
She keeps trying to differentiate between saying
She said to Joey like
And he asked right
Like he asked her
So he kind of did put her in the position
Where she's like well
Yeah
I wasn't going to bring her
this to you, but now I feel like I should be honest with you.
I am. Yeah. And she basically says, like, I felt bullied because this person kept persistently
asking me, like, who told you that I said this, who told you that I said this, who told you that I said
this. Yeah. And. But then she's saying, but I'm not calling this person a bully. Yes, which
is confusing. Is confusing to me. I don't think there's a difference.
really if we're getting like technical with it between saying i felt bullied but that person's
not a bully if you felt bullied then you the person that was doing the new to difference yeah
yeah um i yeah so that i mean we kind of knew this was going to get get brought up but that it's like
medina and then it's oh then she's out of it like she says that she kind of steps away and now it's basically
again, it's like Maria
versus Sydney.
So it's weird
as a viewer.
It's kind of
unless we're missing something,
which we may be,
it is weird seeing
Sydney
even interject herself
in this argument.
Totally.
Like this should be,
this shouldn't exist,
first of all.
Like this should never have become a thing.
That last episode,
like this is the dumbest thing.
I thought this was over.
And I kind of thought it was over.
Yes.
And she is actively trying to put it to bed, it seems like.
Like from what we're seeing, she keeps being like, let's put this to bed.
I feel a little bad for Medina because I feel like this all started because she like opened up about something about her age, her vulnerability.
She was vulnerable about like feeling a little insecure about her age.
And it's kind of blown up.
And I feel like she keeps kind of getting dragged back into it in a way because then like Sidney told Maria and then Medina had to confront it.
And then Joey heard something.
So then Medina had to confront it.
But I feel like there's like reluctance from Medina about being involved in it.
Whereas Sydney is like, get me, get me right on in there.
I have things to say.
And I want to be involved.
Well, I want Medina to just kind of like step up when those two are arguing and be like, hey, listen, if you guys want to continue this fight, go for it.
But I'm good.
Yes.
My shit is handled.
so keep me out of this Sydney if you now have an issue with Maria then that's fine
yeah but keep my name out of your mouth like real because it's honestly it's confusing
it is confusing because it's like it feels like Sydney and Maria are the ones that have the
problem but it's about Medina but it feels like Medina is like I'm cool like you even see
Maria and Medina have a chat the next day where she's like yeah I'm good let's put this
bad. I kind of wanted Medina to say to Joey, like, look, this is what went down. It's solved. It's been put to
bad. Maybe she did. I mean, I'm sure we only saw like a, like a snippet of their conversation.
But it just has like snowballed out of control. And like Sydney and Maria are like going at it.
I don't know. They just don't like each other. They don't like each other is really what it comes down to.
I think like Sydney does not like Maria. I think past this Medina thing. And Marrizzan,
And Maria is, I think, just mad at Sydney for being mad at her, which is fair because Maria's had to be on the defense now for like a while.
Sydney's throwing out accusations like you're you're attacking me, you're bullying me, all these accusations that we like we're not really seeing.
Totally.
We're not, we're not really seeing it.
No, we're seeing like conflict between the two of them and like confrontation and them arguing.
but it doesn't feel like unprovoked.
Like Sydney seems to be the one
who's kind of provoking these conversations.
And it's just Sydney Maria.
Like no one else is saying anything at this point in the show.
Like I'd be curious to see if like other girls get involved
or if this kind of stays between the two of them.
I think there's just bored so bored in the house.
They're probably like, yeah, let this.
Let's just watch.
Maybe.
Maybe.
I'd be like just keep this going because this is a source of entertainment.
You know, we don't have our phones.
No music.
no TV so it's kind of like we'll just sit and watch maria and sydney have it out every afternoon
it's like a in live what did you think of sydney like getting up and leaving
i it's hard for me to took to really understand what like what's going on i just feel it does
seem like sydney it's it's it's it's just like what do you so upset it's confusing because
i don't know what she's so upset about and i feel like when maria
is calling her out like
why do you feel this way
she doesn't really explain it
she just more goes into defense mode
and it won't even have the conversation
yeah like she feels confident
stepping up and addressing it with Maria
because she's done it multiple times now
where she's like you're like this
and you're doing this and you're being like this
and then Maria's like okay
back it up like give me context
and then we just don't ever see
Sydney do that. So it's just kind of hard because Maria is like really standing her ground in
these confrontations. And Sydney just, it doesn't seem like there's like she has as much
evidence. I don't, I don't even like the word evidence. Just like her arguments aren't as strong
in these fights. At least not what we're seeing. At least not what we're seeing.
I'm Jamil Hill, host of the Sports and Politics podcast Politics. And on the latest episode of
politics, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries joins me for a candid conversation about
the state of the Democratic Party. What do Republicans say to you privately that they won't say
publicly? Many of them are in fear of their political lives. And that's been part of the
challenge. But we continue to say to them, you were elected to defend your constituents,
to stand up for your constituents. And there's life after Congress. And you should be willing
to actually want to be able to look back on your time in the House of Representatives.
knowing that you can keep your head held high because you did the right thing.
Donald Trump is gone in three and a half years.
But their legacy or their failure to stand up to the extremism and the unprecedented assault on America as we know it will be with them forever.

What do you get when a true crime producer
walks into a comedy club
I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke
but that really was my reality nine years ago
I just normally do straight stand-up
but this is a bit different
on stage stood a comedian
with a story that no one expected to hear
22nd of July 2015
a 23 year old man
had killed his family.
And then he came to my house.
So what do you get when a true crime producer
walks into a comedy club?
A new podcast called Wisecrack,
where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage.
Available now.

Okay. So let's move to Jen. Jen gets a date. And Jen's going to be our guest later on this week. So make sure you stay tuned because we're going to talk more about this date. But what are your thoughts? Into him? Does he like her? How's it going? I like it. I think they're into each other. I think it was cute. Honestly, I was jealous of this date. This looked really fun and really cool. And I also wanted this date.
I know. You told me this.
I know. It's my dream.
I've never been to Hawaii.
I've never been surfing and I want both of those things in my life one day.
Well, I surprised you with a Valentine's Day gift, but it wasn't Hawaii.
That's okay.
It was still very sweet and I'm excited for, for going to Miami.
Joe surprised me.
He booked a trip to Miami.
It's the kind of guy I am, you know.
I was looking at Hawaii, but just with our turnaround time, it would have been too tough.
Yeah, we can only do four days.
So it's perfection, but back to the show, not about our dating life.
Um, I think they're really cute. I don't know. There's not really too much to talk about in terms of like their day portion. It was just like a fun activity. They seem very comfortable around each other. Like there was a shot of them on the surf cam like the GoPro in the water where he like gave her a quick kiss and it just seemed very like natural and comfortable. Um, which was sweet. And then the night portion she opens up a kind of about her history with bad relationships and where she thinks that comes from. And some of the family.
trauma that she's been through which I think we can kind of save to unpack that further when
she's on the show with us okay so he's had yes and he's had so he's had two one-on-one dates
yes Daisy and Jen yeah who do you think you saw more of a connection with oh that's actually
hard I would say though I would say pretty equal I would say pretty equal yeah both like strong
first dates
I think
Daisy
I think there was a little bit more like
we just saw more I think of
Daisy's date with him to be honest
It felt longer
They were like talking more
Because it was like walking around and chatting
And we were able to just see more
Like flirtatiousness I think
Body language
Looking good
Kelsey's still the winner
Really? What are you talking about?
No way.
Okay.
And we see it every, we see it every season.
We see the lead really talk to somebody and like is like really like, don't leave here.
I don't know.
Maybe.
Maybe you're right.
But I think pretty like equal.
Daisy and Jen are pretty equal.
I would say from what we saw, I would lean towards Daisy more for a connection.
But I also think we saw more of that date.
So it is like just a little bit hard to compare.
Okay.
So yeah.
Like you said, we're going to talk more to Jen.
Let's jump to the tennis date, which you loved.
I did, to be honest.
This is like not my sense of humor.
I was like, oh, God, they're putting them in costume so goofy, so cheesy.
But like, I was cracking up, to be honest.
I love it when they do interviews with multiple people.
I always find it so fun.
Like when they had Daisy and Autumn interviewing in those baby costumes.
Oh, you're saying with two people interview at once.
At once, at the same time.
Like when they were having the pairs do interviews and you kind of get to
see like the relationships of the girls and the banter that they have and I find it's a great
opportunity to like see their personality shine through more than you're able to typically like
with a one person interview yeah I just thought it was so fun I was cracking up and you could tell
that they're all having a good time yeah 100% and like just seeing joey like laugh at kelsey t's
butter hat which that was funny it was so cute I think he likes her I think he really likes on this
date I think he really likes Rachel
I forgot what it was about this date that made me think that, but I think he really, maybe it's just lingering from last episode, but I think he really likes Rachel.
I think he likes Rachel too. I always like to pay attention to how and where the lead is sitting on these group dates because I find you can like tell by like the body language of like who they're leaning towards based on who's next to them.
Was he sitting next to Jesse?
No, he was between
Daisy and someone else
but he was like leaning
into Daisy
like his leg was like
pushed up against hers
and I know that's subtle
Wow, yeah that is
but like
trust me when I say like
that shit means stuff
Do you think so?
I know so
I know so
I know so
Maybe
you're the one who's out here
talking about body language
Yeah you're probably right
You're probably right
I didn't know
Maybe I'm reading into things
Maybe I didn't know
I didn't know the stuff
too much. No, no, no, no, that's the point. I mean, if we're not going to read into every
situation, then we're not doing our jobs. That we wouldn't be able to even talk about
this, you know? All right. Well, the fun of the date ends, and we go to the night portion.
Couple, like, standout conversations. Rachel talks about, like, how she feels like Joey embodies
a lot of qualities of her dad. And I will say, comparing the person you're dating to a family
figure is always a risk it is always a risk and sometimes it's super freaking weird but she did a
good job of making it not weird yeah of making it very sweet no I didn't think it was weird at all but I feel like
we've seen it where it is weird but if we were in paradise and I was like talking you I was like
you remind me so much of my mom that would be super weird that would be super weird to me but the way she
said it of like you have qualities and embody you know value like you have the same values and things
like that as my dad I thought that was really sweet let's just hope if she goes to the fantasy
sweet she doesn't call him poppy oh my god she'll have a daddy instead for that one yeah yeah but
I agree I think that I think that was a nice conversation and then Daisy talked about her cochlear
implant. I thought that was great the way she was like, hey, I dumped a lot on you last night.
Do you have any questions? Yeah. I wanted Joey to ask her some questions about it. I think he seemed
like still nervous to like ask her questions about it. But I wanted to be like, you know, engage with her in that way because I feel like she was opening the floor for him to ask some questions.
Yeah. I think in his defense, he's probably like, and I think a lot of people would do this. You're, you're almost like in your head.
not to like be offensive or ask something that's just like stupid like I would probably ask like
the the simplest dumbest questions I would probably I would I would preface it by saying like this is
all going to sound pretty stupid but here we go um so yeah but I think they he's clearly spending
time with her every time she's around yeah and he did say like I was thinking about you today I was
wondering if like you could hear okay and you were able to participate and I think she said something
along lines of like I feel like I can help you become more comfortable with this and like she initiated
him like why don't you touch it and let me show it to you and I just thought like I don't know it
it was just a nice moment I agree why are you laughing it's just like why don't you touch it let me show
to you. Okay.
You're such a
frickin perv. Yeah, I don't know
why. Okay. So then we got a pool party.
No, wait. You forgot the group date rose.
The group date rose. Yes. Who got the group date rose?
Oh, Kelsey A got the group date rose. Yeah. Kelsey got the group date
rose. Yeah. And then Caitlin got it on the next day.
Because she was talking about breaking the family curse.
Kaylin. She's cool. I like her.
Which one's Caitlin? She is like the radio chemist.
Oh, yes. Yeah, I do like her. Oh, yeah. We didn't
talk about her. She reminds me of
Phoebe Buffet.
She has a little bit of that same
like quirkiness to her for sure.
Like she sat down and said something
and you went oh my God she's Phoebe buffet
like but I can't remember what she said.
She's one of
she's like one of the
women on the show that when she
sits down and has a conversation
I'm intrigued
because like she's real
I know she's being real.
A hundred percent and I feel like
I just find her very interesting
and every time I've heard her speak
I'm intrigued in what she's saying
like whenever she's on the screen I'm like very
locked in because
yeah I just find her like very real
and authentic and she's kind
yeah she's got like a fun quirky personality
yeah
cool okay next day
Jesse comes in and he announces
no cocktail party but wait
there's a pool party
and the pool party
may be the most uneventful pool party
I've ever seen I don't
I don't think we've seen anyone go in the pool
They need like a fluffer for these pool parties or something
I think I remember Zach's season he had a fun pool party
I think charity season they had a fun pool party
This one did not seem fun
Well my thing too is like
Okay like I get you guys are bummed because a lot of you haven't gotten a chance to talk to him yet
But like sitting around is not going to change that like
Go take a shot and jump in the pool
especially if already talked to him.
Like, who cares if you're looking like a soaking wet rat?
Like jump in the pool, go swimming.
Well, I feel like that's like,
girls are like,
I don't want to look like a drowned rat
because I like just was swimming
and my mascara is down my face.
My hair is wet before I talked to him.
But like, A, he's going to see you like that eventually
if you end up together.
B, I don't know.
Like, it just like boring.
Yeah, yeah.
I was like depressed watching it.
Yeah, it seemed really boring.
And they had like KFC.
It started off on such a good note.
It was like, here's some buckets of fried chicken
and french fries kFC party kfc party
listen kfc if you're looking to do any more ads
I'm here you know it'd be so fun
would be like a kFC birthday party where like everyone has to
dress up as like the kFC guy
and you just order a bunch kFC and like everything's red and white
and then you just have like the slogans everywhere
it's like finger looking good okay
that would be a fun birthday party
that would be the craziest party
If you surprised me with that as my, like, I'm not a big birthday guy and I wouldn't,
you could give me anything for my birthday.
I thought one of those people would be upset.
If that's what you got me, I would be upset.
If everybody was dressed up like the KFC guy.
Not for you, not for you for the right type of person.
Like, have you seen on TikTok people throw like Shrek parties where like everyone dresses
up as like a Shrek character and everything's green?
No, I haven't.
You're on the wrong side to TikTok.
Maybe, maybe.
But anyway, the pool party looked depressing.
The whole loan two experience was great.
If I get the KFC experience, I don't know.
You're not the target audience for that party.
Neither am I, just to be frank.
I don't want that either.
But it would be funny.
I would like to attend if someone else was throwing.
I love a theme party.
I never envision being with a woman.
I'll just be honest.

in which she shares why she waited two years into marriage to come out.
Like when I close my eyes at night, every night, I was like, I need to find my prince charming.
Like, it was never a princess.
Like, that never entered into my mind.
But, you know, as I learned, sometimes life gives you things wrapped in a package that you didn't expect it.
And that was just, you know, and honestly, it took me a long time to be okay with myself.
Make sure to listen to this week's episode of Spolitics on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.

My name is Ed. Everyone say hello, Ed.
Hello, Ed.
I'm from a very rural background myself. My dad is a farmer and my mom is a cousin.
So, like, it's not like...
What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comment?
Club. I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke, but that really was my reality nine years
ago. I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different. On stage stood a comedian
with a story that no one expected to hear. The 22nd of July 2015, a 23-year-old man
had killed his family. And then he came to my house. So what do you get when a true crime
producer walks into a comedy club, a new podcast called Wisecrack, where stand-up comedy and murder
takes center stage. Available now. Listen to Wisecrack on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or
wherever you get your podcasts. So now back to the drama before we wrap. We have more
Sydney versus Maria. Yeah. Sydney brings it to Joey's a
tension. Joey then calls out Maria. She seems confused. He is like you do seem confused. So I don't know what to
believe. Again, I feel like we're missing something, but it all seems very strange.
Yeah. I don't know. I mean, so Sydney. It does seem like this was like, you know,
But you know my thing, and I know it's a show, so it probably would never go down like this.
But I want to, I just want it to be like, okay, I'd rather just have Joey walk over to the whole group of them and be like, all right.
Point to anyone, Edwina, talk.
What the fuck is going on?
Explain it to me right now in front of everyone.
Yeah, but like it doesn't work that way.
I know.
I know.
I didn't know what was going on in my own season.
Like, it's like there's so many people.
there's so much happening like you're not privy to everything like i was learning about most of the
drama watching my season back like if you pointed to me i'd be like first of all i'm not a snitch
i'm not talking any shit about what's going out of the house second of all i don't know so even if i did
know yeah i still don't think we even really know like it all does it does seem weird and i i think
I think after
Joey's conversation with Maria
it
it seems that he's leaning
towards her.
I think what it comes down to is
it's always, and we say this every single season,
the person who goes to the lead
and says, hey, I don't like this girl,
this girl sucks, we have a problem,
never ever ends up with the lead
because they get so consumed by the drama,
They get so consumed by their own negative emotions towards this other person that they lose sight of the goal, which is to get to know the lead.
For sure.
And the lead basically goes, okay, I mean, it's hard for me to progress this relationship now because you've made it about someone else.
She did say, like, specifics that were interesting to me where she said Maria called me embarrassing, weird.
and dumb like she like whipped she had like prepared what she was going to say and then we never we never saw maria say that to her doesn't mean it wasn't sad but we didn't see it and we never saw joey confront her about those things which i would have liked like i would have liked to see him be like did you call sidney these words so there's definitely like we're definitely not seeing the whole fight or like he did ask her and she said no or he watched her and she said yes or he didn't ask her at all like i mean here's the thing if sydney's
Whatever her issue is with Maria, it's exactly what you said.
Her best option would be to let it die and just try to get to know Joey.
Yeah.
And Cindy's like doesn't, she's like, I feel bad, but like she really feels like she's done the right thing here.
Like she feel, you can tell she feels good about her decision.
Yeah.
I will say Maria's convo with Joey made me a little sad because yes, Medina didn't call her a bully,
but the word bully and bullying was used alongside, like her, essentially, in relation to her.
And I just feel like Maria, from what we've seen these past few episodes, has had to be, like, on the defense, like, constantly defending herself, constantly, like, getting into these arguments that she's not initiating, that she probably doesn't want to be in.
And she's been on the defense now for days against basically Sydney and Medina.
Yeah, and she basically has to come on and be like, I am not a bully.
Yeah.
And it's like, well, and bully is a strong word.
Like sometimes I do find, especially on this show, especially on The Bachelor, the word bully and bullying gets thrown around way too easily.
Yeah, like you guys can not like each other and have had a few arguments and that doesn't make her bully.
It doesn't mean you're a bully.
100%.
Like from what we've seen of Moran, from everything we've heard from Medina and Sydney and what they're saying is going down.
Like she is not a bully.
Like she's not.
It doesn't seem that way.
No, it does not seem that way.
So it's like and for her to say like I've been bullied really badly.
like being called a bully like it's obviously a soft spot for her so like that does suck and then it's
like well no shit she's going to go on the defense against you if this is what you're saying
yeah she doesn't even have a choice like she's like trying to squash it I've watched her try to
squash it like three times and I think I don't know what it is like Sydney just doesn't seem to
feel like it's squashed I wonder if she would just say um and then and then we'll wrap this
because we got to go but I wonder if she if she if she
She would just say to Joey, if Maria would just say, like, listen, I don't like Sydney.
She doesn't like me.
I'm not bullying her.
But I want to get to know you and I don't want to talk about this anymore.
That's where I stand.
You do what you want with it.
Yeah.
I wonder how that would go.
I wonder too.
I also wonder that.
Because then it's like just go on and then let it and be like, I can't control if Sidney keeps coming up to you and mentioning my name, I'm not going to even.
speak to her anymore.
Yeah.
And that's where I stand.
Yeah.
Maybe.
I think that would be the best move.
Yeah, but then he could also be like, so you don't want to like, I have, but he has
questions now that she has to, she has to kind of answer because unfortunately she's
been put in a position where she has to defend her character.
Yeah.
Which always sucks.
But Sydney keeps saying like I'm trying to squash, I'm trying to squash it.
But yet is still going on.
It is never ending.
I'm certain it's going to continue into next week because as we saw, they both stay.
They're both still here.
It seems like he has a stronger connection with Maria.
It looks like we're going to see them on a two-on-one one.
Which is great.
Honestly, I'm stoked.
That's great news.
Great news.
I love a two-on-one when like the two people on it, like, actually don't like each other.
I don't think there's ever been a two-on-one where both people last.
Well, no, that's how a two-on-one works.
Yeah.
One of them goes home.
Oh, yeah?
What?
Yeah.
Have you never watched the show?
I, I've watched it.
One of them gets a rose.
There's one rose.
Well, you know what?
I will give you.
some slack there because I feel like there's been a few two-on-ones where it's like I'm not going to
hand out a rose on this too-on-one. Yeah, well, charity did that. Yeah, or like, I'm going to give you a rose,
but like I'm not sending the other person home. It's like, no, no, no. Joey, you get one rose,
you give it to one of them and you send the other one home. That's how this works. Okay? I want to see,
I want to see traditional two-on-one format unfold here. Yeah, but if on the date. And they,
they don't like each other. Yeah, but let's say everything got squashed on that two-on-one.
Nothing's getting squashed with these two. Probably not. Ever. But if it did.
And maybe Joey was like, well, I only got one rose, but I may keep both of you.
That could happen.
Yeah, I guess it could happen.
I guess it could happen, yeah.
So we saw Jen, Kelsey A, and Caitlin got roses this week.
And the people we saw go home were Evelyn, Star, and Carissa.
I feel like we literally never saw Star.
You say, I feel like we saw Star way more than we saw Carissa.
You think?
I know so.
I feel like we saw Krista more than we saw Star.
I don't think so.
Either way, we didn't see either of them very much.
Evelyn, we did see.
But unfortunately for her, it was jumping over the table and then crying was really the only time we saw our girl Evelyn.
Yeah.
Wishing her the best.
Her exit interview actually kind of, exit interviews always like pull up my heartstrings.
Yeah.
I mean, but she'll, you know, she'll be okay.
Okay. Joey wasn't, Joey wasn't the guy for her. I mean, the odds of it are not the best.
Yeah, you've got like one in 32 chance. Yeah, but we'll see. I mean, maybe we see her in paradise.
But yeah, I think that wraps it. And make sure you tune in later this week because we have Jen on.
We're going to talk to her. And then, yes, stay tuned to happy hour because we are going to break down every episode every week. And I can't wait to next week to talk about the two on one.
And don't forget to subscribe.
Bye.
Bye.
