You look absolutely beautiful. And before we hopped on this, we were admiring your ring. I have to know, what is the cut? Explain, is this your dream ring? And did he know everything before proposing? Yeah, so he kind of knew like the shape that I wanted of it. And then my mom and my two sisters and two of my best friends, like, helped him with it. That is so perfect. The best friend and the mom are so essential because I feel like they know exactly what you

want, Noreen. No, literally. And it was fun, too, because, like, I went back, like, after, like, he proposed. He, like, showed me all of his, like, group chats and messages with, like, my mom and my sisters and, like, my two best friends. And it was, like, really, really sweet. So that was really fun looking at it all, too. Well, it's absolutely stunning.

I know I can speak for myself and all of Bachelors Nation. We love you so much and we were so excited when we saw that you found the love of your life. So tell us for the listeners who haven't been caught up, how did you reconnect with your fiancé Thor? So he had reached back out to me after I was on the show. And then, but we hadn't been together for like, I think it was like five years maybe. and so but we have the same friend group from college so we would always like see each other when it was like if everyone would get together on like Halloween or we would do like a friend's giving or something like we would always see each other and we were like back to being friends and it was kind of like out of my mind like because we hadn't dated in so long and we were like so young too we were like 20 years old when we dated so how long had it been in between when you dated and when you went on the show like because when did I go on the show like three years ago now right? I think I everything blends in my mind.

I know right. Everything is three years ago. I know. That sounds crazy though to say if it was three years ago, but I think it must have been three years ago. But we hadn't dated for like four years before that. Oh, wow. I dated other people like in between.

Like he was like my ex-boyfriend. And then we like he reached out. And then I was kind of like, what is going on because I was also like what just happened in my life like I'm sure like you can like when you get off the show it's like what just happened like even when it's appearing and stuff so I was kind of like I need to figure out like all of this stuff before I can like give that a go and even I didn't even know if I wanted to like see if anything was still there because like it was like so far like removed it felt but then yeah we got together and it was just like I don't know

He's just always been like a really good friend of mine and he's like such a great person. So then it just clicked again. Here we are. Did he watch back any of your season of The Bachelor? No, he's like never watched it. I don't know if he ever will, honestly. Probably for the best. Yeah, no, definitely.

But yeah, he never watched it. But like his like his mom did and like everyone that like I know through. him watched it and stuff. So it's like kind of funny. We like, oh, I'll like joke about it now. But how did you know after reconnecting that he was the one? Because it's been a while since you guys were together. Yeah, definitely. I think just like he's always been like, even though we broke up, he's always just been such an amazing person to me. And so like caring and kind and he's like so much fun. And we just have the best time together. It doesn't matter what we're doing. And so I feel like it's just like when it just clicks and it feels like you I mean I've known him for like a long

like portion of my life but I feel like it was just like like everything just picked right back up and it's just like we've known each other forever it feels like so it feels like invisible string because I know so many people wanted you to be the bachelorette but looking back now are you so happy that you decided to take the route you took because now you were with the your life. Definitely, like 100%. And I think for me, too, like, doing that experience, it was like so good and I had such a great experience and I'm very thankful for it. But like I think I had like, that was like meant to be it for me. Because it was like very stressful and like as fun as it is. I mean, you know too. It's just like mentally can be a lot.

Absolutely. So let's jump into wedding planning. little bit. Obviously, the ring is perfect. What else do we have planned for the big day? I think, I don't know. I'm just like really excited. We have, we invited around like, I think, 220 people. So I feel like that's like a like decent size wedding, not like super huge, but not like small. But yeah, I'm just really excited. Like I did my bridal shower back in Minnesota. And so Thor's whole family and like a bunch of friends and stuff and mine came And it was fun just like having everyone together. I think that's what I'm looking forward to the most is just having like all of our favorite

people in one spot. And my little nieces are going to be the flower girls. So I'm like, that's going to be like so cute. I'm like so, I don't know. I think it's all just going to be really, really fun. Are you going to have any Bachelor Nation alumni attending the wedding? Yes. So I'm having, so Susan and Kathy.

And then. That is going to be so much fun. I know, right? And then Leia, Rachel and Jess from my season and Krista and Autumn. So much fun. Have you picked out your dress yet? Yes, I have. You have?

Oh, my gosh. Is there anything you could tease about it? It's like, I don't know. I don't want to say. No, no details. We will be surprised and we will be so. excited. So we're so ready to see all these wedding updates. I know. It's like it's so fun. It goes by so fast though because I literally was like, so we got engaged like last October.

And I'm like, oh my gosh, it's like going to be October pretty soon. And I was like, our wedding's in December. I'm like, this is like coming up very fast. It happens so fast. Back to the dress. Is there anything that you didn't want in a dress or anything that would make a qualification for a perfect dress? I honestly. I was shocked, like, what I liked and what I didn't like also, like when I was trying them on. Like, I feel like you definitely have to try them on and like something that I, like, thought I would really love. I was like, okay, that's not what I thought it would be like.

And then... Did you go in with a plan and then decide something completely different from what you thought? Kind of, yeah. Like, I thought I knew exactly, like, the dress I wanted. And then when I started like trying on like what it looks like, I was like, okay, no, this isn't really like viving with me. So I would say like kind of a mix, like something I definitely didn't expect to pick. But also like not like I don't know.

Does that make sense? It makes sense. And I cannot wait to see it because you look great in everything. Thank you. I also want to talk about how life has been in Vegas. You guys built your dream house, correct? Yes, yeah. How has that been?

It's been so fun making it a home. And like we have like my family comes a lot and stays, which is really fun. We just finished the backyard a few months ago. So that's awesome, especially right now because it's so hot there. I was going to say, first of all, so hot. Is there anything that you absolutely needed in the house when you were building it? In the house. I like, I needed a pool because I was like if I'm,

I'm going to be here and it's going to be so hot. I need to be able to jump in the pool. Absolutely. But it's like hot during the summer, but then it's not as hot during like the fall and winter and spring as people think. But the summer's like really hot. Very hot. Do you guys see Vegas as home base for a long time?

Yeah, probably. Thor kind of has to be like around there for work. And so it's kind of an like I can kind of work from wherever. So we'll probably be there. Eventually, I would love to get like a lakehouse, like somewhere in Minnesota, but that'll be like down the line. But I would love to do that and then like spend the summers here just because it's so beautiful here and it's so hot in Vegas summer. Absolutely. But yeah, definitely be in Vegas for like the long term.

For the long term. Okay, so I want to know, and I know listeners want to know, is there a chance or anything? that could be in the future that you would come back to reality TV in any capacity? I honestly, I don't know. It depends, like, what it would be, obviously not like The Bachelor. Day day, day. Totally. But I would do, like, a, like, game one or something like that I think would be fun.

Like, I definitely would be open to it depending on what it is. What kind of a game would you do more of a traitors or more of a dancing with the stars? I feel like I'd be open to either. I like love trying different things. So I think like anything would be kind of fun. Do you think you'll do more? You know what? If it comes along, but I have to say I'm also done with dating, we were past that point in our life.

Totally. What would you ever do anything like a survivor? Yeah. Actually, I don't know. Yes, I think I would. Like I think if the opportunity came, I think I would have a really hard time saying. know, but I think that's one that would be like more difficult for me. What do you think would surprise viewers watching you on a show like Survivor compared to The Bachelor?

Um, well, that they would see like my outdoorsy skills, I guess. I mean, I can get out like be very outdoorsy and competitive. So I think they would see that side too. You've heard the chaos. Is there a boundary that if you ever went on TV again, that you wouldn't cross or that you wouldn't want viewers to see? I don't know. I feel like I've always been like very open. And I feel like that's kind of how I connect with people on it. And I feel like very honest, like even on my social media.

So I feel like I feel like there's nothing I haven't really like hid like that I could say. I could say like down the line like when me and Thor like decide to have kids. I feel like that's something that I probably will like definitely be more cautious about sharing just for like them and their like safety and everything. But I guess like you don't really know. I feel like until something happens. Yeah. Speaking of kids, have you guys talked about that?

Do you know how many you want? Yeah. I think we probably want like two or three. Perfect. I feel like that's like a good number. I love like I'm the middle of five siblings and I love it. It's like so fun, but I don't think I have it. Like, I don't think I could be.

Five is crazy. I don't know how they did it back then. Right. It's like so fun. I like love it, but I don't think I could, I don't think I could have five. Totally love being a part of the sibling group of five, but raising a group of five. Completely different story. Yeah, 100%.

You have such an incredible and big social media presence. Moving forward when you start to have a family, Do you think that's something that you wouldn't put online at all? Or when the time comes, you would decide. I think when the time comes, I'll probably decide. Like, I definitely share about it. I feel like, because I share a lot about my life. But I don't know if I'll, like, share, like, have, like, the kids in everything. But I don't know. I feel like it's hard to know until you, like, have them, you know. Do you get there? You have shared so much. Obviously, you're an advocate. You're an author. what do you want to see your social media look like in the future?

I think just like as like it'll probably just keep evolving as like I keep evolving and changing and growing. I feel like which will be fun. I have another children's book that it's been having printing issues, but it should be out in like the next few months hopefully. So I'm excited about that and like to do more with my children's book. And like I do a lot of work with my, like, my like. like cochlear implant company and we like go to hospitals and stuff like that and I love doing that

stuff so hopefully doing more of that in the future I would like it's just so special I was going to say congratulations on a second book that is so impressive is it kind of a sequel of daisy do or is it a little bit different yeah so it's Daisy do all the sounds at the zoo so it's like she like goes to the zoo and goes through it. That is absolutely incredible. I'm so proud of you. And I think everything that you've done is just so beautiful. Have you ever gotten a message or someone reached out that made everything kind of all worth

it to share your story? Yeah. I feel like one that I got, it was actually before I went on The Bachelor when I had started making TikToks just about my like hearing loss and stuff. And that's actually how I got on The Bachelor because one of the casting producers, saw one of my TikToks. Is that how you got on? Yeah.

I didn't know that. So they saw a video of you and they reached out. Yeah, I was like making TikToks about getting my cochlear implant and like my hearing loss and stuff. But I remember I was thinking about stopping and like making the videos about it. And then I got this message from a dad and he was like, hi. Like I have a six year old daughter named like Sarah or whatever her name was. And he was like, she never wants to go to school.

And she never wants to wear her hair up and show her cochlear implants. And I was, like, looking online and your TikTok came up. And I started showing her videos. And then she woke up in the morning. And she was like, I want to wear my hair up like Daisy does today. And I was like, I remember I just started, like, sobbing. Because I was like, okay, like, that's like so, like worth it. And like sharing that part of my life.

Like, it makes someone, like, younger that feels, like, insecure about it, like feel better about it. So I would say that message. Then I was like, okay, I'm going to keep making my silly little TikToks. They are so beautiful and I'm so glad you did because I know you're helping so many people. Do you think that this is going to be something you continue into the future that you're always going to do social media or do you see your career going a different way in the future? I think I'll definitely always like have social media as a part of it.

but I think like growing like other aspects of it too like I want to write more children's books and do that and do a lot more public speaking. So I think it'll just kind of like evolve more and I'll do more stuff like that too. Would you ever write a book about you like a memoir? Yes. Yeah. So I actually have been working on that for quite some time. And it's like pretty much ready to go if I wanted.

to publish it, but I think I just need to do it when like I'm ready because I share like, I know I'm like very open and stuff, but I feel like in that form of writing, it's very, it's a lot more deep, which I'm excited to share about it, but I think probably in like a couple years maybe. What is what's holding you back? Is it more of just not wanting people to fully see in? I think it's just a lot of it has to do with like my health stuff that happens. And even before I did the show and everything,

and it goes back a lot to like when I was younger and like losing my hearing and stuff like that. And it's also like I'm so happy and so thankful. And like I know it all happened for a reason and I'm like good with like how everything happened now. But sometimes when I'm like reading it and when we've gone through and edited it, it's really hard for me to like read and talk about still,

which is like very interesting because like I'm open and I talk about it a lot. But I think it's just like a lot of the writing pieces of it I wrote when I was like going through that and in that dark space. So I think it kind of like brings me back to that. I'm like, whoa, like that was kind of gnarly. Yeah. Was it therapeutic writing it or was it really hard to get back in that mental space?

I think like writing parts of it were really hard, but also like healing in a way. Yeah. Did you talk any about your journey on The Bachelor? Will we see any of that in the world? Yeah, I did. I talked, it's more so, like, has more to do with me, like, going through the show than, like, aspects of, like, the dating part, I was saying. I think that's what people want to know.

What were you feeling in the event? Yeah, so there's, like, some of it in there. It's, like, part of it, but not, like, not, like, the whole essence of it, if that makes sense. Yeah. Is there anything that the viewers would be really surprised to learn about you? I think just like reading it and I think seeing how like emotional and like sad I was from like what I went through like physically and mentally when I was like in the hospital and stuff like that because I think it's hard for people to understand unless you're in that situation or know somebody that I was like very, very sick before. So I think just like reading that, people might be like, whoa, like I didn't realize it was like that for her.

We were in Seattle. That was my bad. Seattle, Pacific Northwest, you know. Yes. Similar. We were in Seattle. And it was like right before the like Wizard of, not the Wizard of Oz, what was it? Wicked. Yeah, Wicked. Duh. But it was right. for that. So they brought in me, Kelsey and Charity and we like did a little thing on like the yellow brick road with Jen and like brought her like through her date. So that was fun. It was really good to see her. And I remember I think it was like the week before hometown. So it was like the top six guys.

And like it was fun to like see how far along it was because we got to see like who were like the top six guys before it even like ended and started like airing, which was fun. Did you have any opinions on the six when you met them? Because I know when I went on Charity's date, I could tell who she liked and who was going to go far. Yeah, I could definitely tell who she was vibing with. And I will say the two that were the top two, they were the two that I thought were going to be the top two. Who were they? It was, who was the guy that she ended up at Devon?

And then what's the other guy's name? I forget. Marcus? Yeah, I was him. Yeah. And I thought it was going to be those too. Did you like them or you just thought off the vibe of Jen? Just like off the vibe of what I was seen. She's like, I'm not going to comment and if I liked them. But Jen clearly did. I loved your dress in this to carry style you guys for this date.

Yes, yeah, he did. It's so funny. I had on like the craziest like high heels. They're like fully rhinestone. And then. They let me keep them, but it's so funny. I have them in my closet and my friend was over the other day. And she was like borrowing like shoes or something. And she put them on and she walked out and she was like, when would you ever wear these? It was like I wore them. But I was on the bachelor date for like Jen season.

I think you should wear them to the grocery store. Right? They're honestly so cute. They're like so bedazzled. Wasn't Trista on this date as well? She was. Yes, yeah, she was. I think she did.

Okay, this next picture, we have Daisy and Juliana in what looks like a tropical setting at a table. Yes. This is when I went for the Bachelor finale. for grand season. And then they brought me and Rachel and Katie in.

And then all three of us, we all talk to one of the like three top girls. And so I talked to Juliana. It was so fun. She was so sweet. Juliana's the best. What was your opinion of her when you were talking to her in that moment? I just thought she was like so sweet and so driven. And she was like there was something very like kind about.

her. And then, I mean, obviously, she just got engaged, which is exciting. I know. Did you think in that moment when you were meeting Juliana that she was going to be the one? I honestly, I like wasn't sure. Like she seemed like very like into it. But then also like Rachel and Katie had talked to the other girls and like we thought like Latia too. So I was kind of like split. like who I thought it was going to be but I only talked to Julianna I didn't meet the other two girls when I was there so it was kind of hard to like gauge it but I knew if he picked her she would be like a great pick obviously it didn't work out between them but is there anything that we saw that didn't air that you think the viewers would like to know about that interaction

I don't think so I mean mine we just like talked and hung out and nothing juicy No, nothing juicy, really. It was basically like what they showed. Like mine and Giuliana's like conversation was like pretty much what they showed, I guess. I didn't get like any like super tea. No tea? I'd be like, why'd you even fly me out here? I know, right?

Okay, this next picture we have Daisy. I don't even know who's next to you. Dressed up like babies. That's autumn? Yeah. Oh my gosh, I couldn't even tell. Okay, so we have Daisy and Autumn dressed up as babies with bibs and bonnets and big baby costumes on. Yes. This was crazy. This was for like the tennis date and we were partners or it was I don't even know if it was tennis. It might have been pickleball. But we were the cry babies and it was like it was so funny. Autumn's like one of my like closest friends from the show. I like I love her. But we just like bonded right from the beginning. But we had like, like, so much fun and it was absolutely hilarious. We lost like for sure badly but it was still like so fun. It was like hard to move in those too. They were like really big on the bottom.

I was going to ask what was the aerodynamics of this costume and how were you able to hit a ball? It literally, I remember my legs because it was like kind of like sagging down like the pants did and we were like or it was like a body suit but we were like what is happening. Did you guys pick those costumes or did the producers pick them? I'm like trying to remember. No, we picked them. They like had him like a bunch on a rack. I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, they had them on the rack and they were like everyone like with your partner pick like a costume. But you know like how in the show and like it shows everyone like running and like grabbing things? Like that's what it was like. So we kind of just like grabbed one. You ended up with their cry baby. Was there another costume you would have preferred? Do you guys think you're having? happy with the cry baby i think i was happy with the cry baby i think it worked well what's your

like what's your opinion on athletic dates on the bachelor i think it's good because it like shows you like i think if people are more like down to like do stuff like i love like trying new things and like even new like sports things and stuff i like grew up being pretty active but i feel like it's good because then you get to see like i mean if like the person is very active and they want to be with someone active, like, then it's not going to work out if you're not, like, willing to, like, try those things. To have fun. Okay. I think we have another photo.

So this is Daisy, Rachel, and who is the third? Is it? I can't least. Oh, Caitlin. Caitlin looks a lot like Rachel Kirkconnell is who I thought it was. You guys look like you're in a European city on a cobblestone street. Yeah, I think that was when we were in Spain. some were we in Spain okay yeah but somewhere but anyway it was on one of the dark days so i don't know

did you have dark days when you were on the show so explaining to the audience a dark day is technically a day where there is no filming you don't really have any B-roll to film you're kind of just doing whatever you want is that kind of the day you guys had yeah so it was us three i believe and we were with two producers and we just like went around like Spain and we're just like hanging out and like drinking and eating and you don't have your phones or anything at all still

and so you're just like hanging out and you get to just have like a fun off day and they always would like group you with girls that you were friends with like they didn't want you to be grouped with like if you had drama with another girl because they didn't want anything to happen when they weren't filming

but so you were always with like your friends that you were close with. with and it was like it was just so fun and you got to actually like get out and like experience like where you were. I loved the dark days because it was the only time you actually got to experience the city you're in. Yeah. I always say I was like I was in this city but I didn't really get to see any of it.

What did you guys get to see on this day in Spain? We were like on like the coast where were we and we sat at like this very, very pretty. like it was literally right on the water it was so magical and like so pretty and then i remember another day i like went with i think i was with i was with one of the producers and where were we maybe it was malta no i don't know you guys had great travel yeah we had like great spots that we went to but yeah it was just so fun we just like walked around and like bar hopped and we're like seen the like coast like city it was so pretty what was your favorite memory from spain in general i think honestly probably that day it was just so so much fun and we got like fake like purses

like designer purses you guys where did you find those they were just like selling them like on the street and we were all like we all bought one we were like okay you have to okay okay this photo is stunning. The next one we have is Daisy in a red dress on a red carpet in an airplane hanger holding a rose. Yeah, that place was crazy. That was right before we went to To Loom for to film the finale. So it was me, Rachel and Kelsey. Wasn't Maria there as well? Yeah, Maria. Yeah. Maria. Yeah, Maria got sent home. And didn't she, wasn't this the episode where she pulled him in the middle the rose ceremony? Yeah.

How was that? Did you guys have to wait a long time when that was happening? I mean, probably, I think we did because I don't know if I'm remembering correctly, but I think they let us, like, we were all standing in a line and I think we like got, or no, we, us three, like started talking and then they were like, I think they were telling us to stop talk. I don't know. I think we were there probably for like 15 minutes, maybe.

Oh, that's actually not bad. for the best roll. Yeah, like it wasn't like an hour or anything crazy. It was probably longer than that. It was probably like 20, 30 minutes, but I don't know. I don't really remember, honestly. Did you go into this rose ceremony with that rose? Or who went in with the rose? No, I don't think anybody had a rose because we just did hometowns. Oh, that's right. Okay. Were you confident in this moment that you were going to go into the next week? Yeah. Yeah, I was too watching you. And you look so much. beautiful. This is such a stunning location. I love that dress. I still have it. Do you? Oh my gosh. It looks so good on you.

We have Daisy sitting on Santa Claus's lap and Mrs. Claus is there as well and she's holding a cup of cocoa. Yes. So that was at my hometown when we went back to like the tree farm that I grew up on and it like they had it sent up like a winter wanderland. It was so much fun. But yeah, that was Santa. Do you normally have Santa at your dream farm? Yeah, so my parents don't have it anymore, but they always do like during, it's like Thanksgiving, like through Christmas. Then there's like a petting zoo and there's Santa, there's hot chocolate, there's like face painting. It's so fun. That is so magical.

Like the cutest place ever. Did you know that Santa and that Mrs. Claus or were they? No, I am. Who they were. Well, that's the real Santa. So that's really all that matters. Your hometown was so cute. It was honestly so fun.

And it's so fun when you go back to hometowns because you haven't seen your family at that point in like almost like two months, which is crazy. And coming into the Bachelor Mansion with your little red truck and the Christmas tree and bringing him to the farm. It must have felt very full circle. And I loved watching it. But I'm even happier for where you are today. and I know I can speak for everyone. We cannot wait to see all the updates for the wedding and the dress. Thank you.
