Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate. Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. So in the last month, the Midas Touch Network beat Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, Charlie Kirk, and Ben Shapiro all combined. What happens when three brothers take on right-wing media and start winning? I find out on the latest episode of Next Question with me, Katie Couric. We just want people to live their lives and be happy and be able to enjoy it without some, you know, lunatic. tick screaming in their face every three seconds. Listen to next question with me, Katie Couric on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
Starting point is 00:01:07 or wherever you get your podcasts. Why are TSA rules so confusing? You got a hood of you. I'll take it off. I'm Mani. I'm Noah. This is Devin. And we're best friends and journalists with a new podcast called No Such Thing,
Starting point is 00:01:21 where we get to the bottom of questions like that. Why are you screaming? I can't expect what to do. Now, if the rule was the same, go off on me. I deserve it. You know, lock him up. Listen to No Such Thing on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. No such thing.
Starting point is 00:01:41 Hey, everyone. Welcome back to Bachelor Happy Hour. I'm Joe. And I'm Serena. And today we are going to answer all your questions. We have fan questions to answer. Fan question episode. Fan questions submitted all by you guys and we're ready to get into it.
Starting point is 00:01:56 And you said you want me to read these off, correct? Yeah. you read them off please okay all right first one joe joe are you going to run any more marathons would you ever do an iron man i don't even like talking about marathons anymore because when i was just home when i was home for thanksgiving um clay and eddie made a joke um you know how somebody you know how you know someone runs a marathon they tell you so now i'm self-conscious and i don't even want to talk about it. But I plan on potentially running one more. But he's going to talk about it. But I do, I like to do New York again. I would like to do Chicago. I don't think I could do an
Starting point is 00:02:37 Iron Man yet because my swimming's very weak. Serena, you're a swimming instructor. So if you instruct me, maybe. Yeah, maybe. Maybe. Joe has little to know swim training. And we did do some open water swimming at a lake house a few summers ago and you were better than I thought you would be but your issue is you don't really like putting your head under the water. Yeah and I would need I would need the other. I would, I do the breaststrokes. I would need the other form to go. The front crawl.
Starting point is 00:03:09 The front crawl is a lot harder and you definitely need to put your head under the water. Yeah. Why do you want to do New York and Chicago? You're like very specific about those too. I mean, I feel like I could guess but well we say when people ask you, you're like, I would do New York and I would do Chicago. Well, because the New York Marathon is from my understanding. understanding very difficult to get in so I'm lucky enough to get in and once you're in you're in
Starting point is 00:03:29 so I kind of don't want to lose that spot and then Chicago I'm from Chicago and it's one of the bigger ones so I would like to do that it would be cool to do in Chicago because I feel like a lot of your friends and family yeah will come out to support and it would be like a really big exciting thing yeah and just they have yeah they have like my friends there and like to run through like the city you grew up in yeah I think it would I think it would be fun so I want Joe to do Ottawa in Canada because a lot of my friends are running in Ottawa in the spring. But you know what sucks about a spring marathon is you got to train through the winter. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I know. I mean, I'm not going to run a marathon period, but if I was, I would not be running it. But I feel like that preps you even more. Like you're really, you're really, so you get through the winter training. You're good. It's like rocky, you know, running the steps training in the winter. Okay. Next question.
Starting point is 00:04:17 What is your most used emoji? Oh, let's pull it up. I'm going to pull up my phone right now. Can you actually search that via text message? I don't think you can search it, but I think if you go to type and you go to like the emojis, the first ones are like your most used. Oh, yeah, you're probably right. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:04:35 There might be your most recent used, but the one you would use the most should be in there. I use the white heart a lot. I use the skull face a lot. Those are probably my two most used emojis. Oh, and I like the salute emoji, the half face with this, the guy saluting. Let me look. mine are all my are all eggplants
Starting point is 00:04:57 no I'm joking I was like you've never sent me an eggplant so we're jumping off this podcast to discuss my my first one is the laughing face and then cross your fingers and then 100% which makes sense because I use all those
Starting point is 00:05:14 yeah that makes sense and the next one's turkey so I clearly don't use emojis that much no you don't you're not an emoji guy really Okay. What are your favorite holiday traditions? Hmm. Should we assume Christmas?
Starting point is 00:05:31 Well, it could be any holiday. It could be any holiday, but since I would say, let's go Christmas. Okay. So. Because we're both big on Christmas. The one thing that my family, two things. My family literally does every single year. One is all of the cousins on my dad's side get together.
Starting point is 00:05:49 and my grandmother makes gingerbread houses, like, from scratch. So she bakes the gingerbread pieces. And we each get the pieces and we build our gingerbread houses. And she gets, like, all the candy and everything. She's literally been doing my, like, I can't remember time. I'm actually upset that I'm not going to be there. Joe's never done it. He's missed it.
Starting point is 00:06:09 This is a third year. He's missing it. But it's okay. Obviously. But it's so fun. And like we've been doing this since we're kids. I actually am really upset that I am to see it this year. I know I would do.
Starting point is 00:06:19 great. You would love it. I know you would love it. You will make it one year. But yeah, now my oldest cousin has two little kids and they do it and I just, it's so fun. And yeah, it's one of my favorite traditions. And then our other tradition is we always have cinnamon buns on Christmas morning, which I also love because I love cinnamon buns. I think it's like the only time I eat them. And they go great with coffee in the morning too. So it's like the perfect breakfast. So I'm going to say week of, week of Christmas, we go to Hillstone because I'm making that a tradition. I'm making that right now. Okay. We did that last year's first time we ever did it. And then I like our new movie
Starting point is 00:06:53 tradition. Do you want to explain that for the people that don't know? Yes. Thank you for that. So what we decided to do is the day after Thanksgiving, we are watching a different Christmas slash holiday movie every night. And we filled it in a calendar
Starting point is 00:07:11 and like the movies that are more Christmas me go towards near like December 25th. And then like we started. We started out with Family Stone and movies that are like borderline. Yeah, like we started with like Family Stone and the holiday. And then we're going to end with like Elf and like Santa Claus, like super Christmassy movies. I do like that.
Starting point is 00:07:33 I'm excited for this tradition. I just feel like you're not going to stick to the calendar. But you've been doing pretty good so far. You keep saying that. I feel like you're not going to stick to the calendar. Well, the new Hunger Games movie just came out so I'm feeling like really drawn to watch the Hunger Games again. You're projecting. But we'll just find like a Sunday afternoon for that.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Okay. How do you two show each other? I can't read. How do you two show each other that you love the other? Aw. A love question. Do you want to go first? How do I show you that I love you?
Starting point is 00:08:10 Do you want to say what I do for you and I'll say what you do for me? Yeah. Yeah, that works. you tell me that you love me. I do. That's pretty much how I know. Wow. Just a simple guy.
Starting point is 00:08:27 You don't need a lot. I'm going to start pulling back if that's the only thing you need. Well, no. I mean, you're just, you're just always you. You know, you're always, yeah, you're there. This is honestly just such a disappointing answer. I can't even stay here and lie to you. Like, what the hell?
Starting point is 00:08:45 I feel like I do a lot to show you. I love you. And that's all you can muster up? You do. I'm actually a little offended by that answer. What the heck? It's funny. No, like, okay, so you, um...
Starting point is 00:08:59 You don't feel like I do anything for you? I literally are so loving. I just said you're you. What does that mean? It's, it's... Use your words. You know, that could have a word. You're you.
Starting point is 00:09:13 You being you is doing it all for me. It's making me feel like I've loved all. the time. Great. Okay. I'll keep, I'll just keep doing me, babe. I'll just keep it up. Okay. I would say the way that you look at me when you wake up in the morning and you smile and you giggle and you instantly put me in a good mood. Oh, that's nice. Yeah, see. Thank you. I knew you could do it. Thank you. See, I know I knew I could use my words. There you go. That's very sweet. And what do I do? you you're very i would say it's not that easy it's not that easy of a fucking question is it you do a lot
Starting point is 00:09:54 thank you see no i'm sorry i shouldn't have been so hard on you this is actually not that easy um no you just you're very affectionate and caring and loving and i'm caring well i'm getting there let me narrow it down okay i'm starting broad and then i'm going to work my way into a more narrow answer Okay. You go out of your way. I feel like you're very thoughtful. Like if you're out and like you're getting, you know, a coffee or a sandwich, you'll always think of me like, do you want something or you'll pick me up something, which I love.
Starting point is 00:10:28 You are. This is so hard. Maybe we need to talk about our feelings for each other more. I buy you sandwiches. Honestly, this is not a specific thing, but you do make me feel special every single day. like I can honestly say every day I feel very special I feel prioritized I feel like you like think of me you go out of your way to think of me and consider me in situations and I know that's like not specific but like it's true it's like you do it in small actions yeah like all day every day constantly
Starting point is 00:11:00 okay is that a good enough answer yeah it's good for me uh I didn't think we were going to be interrogating each other I know but we should we should have read these questions before we started. We should have. But these are our real honest answers. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly and now I'm seriously suspicious. Well, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast. So we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her
Starting point is 00:11:38 gone. Now hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds. Sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor and they're the same age. It's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?
Starting point is 00:12:01 To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. So in the last month, the Midas Touch Network beat Rogan. Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro, all combined. Conservative podcasts can have a major political impact, but the Myceles Brothers, three siblings with a serious media strategy, are building an alternative to that. On the latest episode of Next Question with Katie Couric, I sat down with the brothers behind the Midas Touch Network to talk about how they built a progressive media powerhouse from the ground up, why audience interaction is the key to political influence. and what it takes to fight disinformation at scale, one download at a time. We should be focusing on the issues that actually occupy a lot of the mental space in Americans' minds but are filled with conspiracies, and we should fill it with the truth and solutions.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Listen to next question with me, Katie Couric on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this. Attention passengers. The pilot is having an emergency, and we need someone, anyone, to land this plane. Think you could do it? It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control. And they're saying like, okay, pull this, pull that, turn this. It's just, I can do it my eyes close. I'm Mani. I'm Noah. This is Devon. And on our new show, no such thing. We get to the bottom of questions like these.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence. Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise. And then as we try the whole thing out for real. Wait, what? Oh, that's the run right. I'm looking at this thing. Listen to no such thing on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. How do you feel about sports?
Starting point is 00:14:09 I prefer. I prefer no spoilers. When I used to watch the show, I didn't follow like anything on social media and I didn't look for any spoilers. So I went fully spoilerless. And I liked that. Like if someone was like, oh, I know how it ends. I'd be like, don't tell me. Like for any show, not even for like reality. Like I don't want to know what happens because that is part of the fun is not knowing and like being along for the ride. But I feel like. like now because we've been on the show like my for you page and my explore page spoilers always pop up it's like so much harder to avoid now even if I don't follow anything it's like the suggested content for me so then I'm obviously going to look because I'm curious well that's that's how I feel about but I don't like them but if I see them I have to look it's like the same thing like when I was in school and the person next to me was filling out the answers to the test quicker like I'm gonna look if I could see them I don't know if that's the same, but okay, that's a decent comparison.
Starting point is 00:15:13 But I do think now that we're in, like speaking to Bachelor specifically, I don't know about other reality shows, but now that we're in this world, it's harder because people do talk, you know, like, yes, there's some great secret keepers. And then there's some not so great secret keepers and word spreads when people aren't great secret keepers, you know? Yep, I agree. I agree. Okay, I'm coming to visit New York in December. What are a few things I have to do? You give one, I'll give one. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:46 I have mine. In December? Yeah. So mine is... I think ours is going to be the same. Mine's cliche, but I feel like you have to do it, especially around that time, is you have to do like Central Park, check out the plaza, all that. And it's very like, yeah, it's giving holidays.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Yeah, Joe and I last year went and got like hot chocolate. We picked a day that wasn't like too cold. We walked around Central Park. There's a skating rink in Central Park. That's really fun. We literally went for like 30, 40 minutes. Just skated around. It was like a perfect little holiday activity.
Starting point is 00:16:21 There's also a lot of great Christmas bars in York. You can like search it up on TikTok. Yeah, we have to actually. We actually have to go this year. Yeah. Yeah. I think there's like five main ones. So the main main one is Rolfs.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Rolfs, yeah, which is a German bar. And you have to get a. they're like when it opens apparently because it's so busy we didn't go last year but maybe we'll go this year yeah okay can you please tell us more about your movie calendar are these movies you've never seen before or just movies you love okay so let's walk people through how we like did it okay so i believe this was my idea i think it was your idea actually i believe it was and the idea was because i love to watch christmas movies and sometimes i have to beg serena to watch Christmas movie. Even if it's July. She won't watch a Christmas movie in the summer.
Starting point is 00:17:11 I won't. I'm not watching a home alone in the middle of the summer. But, so we decided each night we want to watch a Christmas movie up till Christmas. And we decided to start it after Thanksgiving. And it's movies that at least one of us saw. No, there's a few that neither of us have seen. Oh, really? So what we did. We looked up lists. Yes. We looked up just like some big lists online of like Christmas movies. We talked to some. friends when we were in Chicago and just said like what are your favorites and then we made the board and honestly I think this is a good idea because what ends up happening is like we're binging a show or we're watching what's on TV or you're watching football and then all of a sudden
Starting point is 00:17:48 it's December 20th and we missed the season of Christmas movies and you have to try to like binge them all in like a few days which sucks this this might have been our best couple moves this was very strategic it was great so we made two lists we made really really Christmassy movies which is like the Santa Claus is, the Elf, Home Alone. You can't live without. And then we made ones that we love but are like maybe a little less Christmassy. Like I think we said before, like the holiday family. Like the holiday is a Christmas movie, but like it's not, there's no like Santa.
Starting point is 00:18:19 There's no elf, you know? It's not super Christmassy. So we listed those in like the first half and then it gets more and more Christmassy as you go on. I would say most of the movies one of us has seen and there's maybe like, I don't know. Like Bad Santa, we neither of us. I've seen Batsenna. Oh, you have? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Okay, then maybe we have seen one of us has seen every single movie. I think so. I think we have. But regardless, if there was like a new movie coming out that neither of us saw, we would throw it on. Yes. And a lot of people were like, you need to add this one or you miss this one. Guys, there's only so many days in December.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Like, we had a tough time narrowing it down. But I did keep the list so that next year we could have a different chart. Okay. Serena, you mentioned that Joe redid your honeymoon itinerary 50 times. 50 plus times, which is not true. Only five. Maybe like seven. Where else were you planning on going?
Starting point is 00:19:13 Anything you would change about the honeymoon you planned? I planned it, so would you change anything? No, I would not change anything. I thought you did an amazing job. You're very good at researching and planning trips. The only thing, and I think you would agree with me on this, is I would have done three days in Lake Como, two days in Florence, three days in the Tuscany countryside versus two days like Como, three days Florence, three days
Starting point is 00:19:43 Tuscany, only because Joe and I are typically like city people when we travel, but we're starting to learn that now that we live in a big city, like we live in New York, we are loving a more relaxing vacation style. Yeah, you mean you took the words out of my mouth. I would have truly have changed it to a tropical location in one spot and stay there for seven to eight days and just chill that was the original plan so the the places that joe was changing we talked about uh my god sorry i can't talk we talked about hawaii then we went to italy then joe changed it to like bali i think and then you changed it back to italy but like we were going to fly into rome
Starting point is 00:20:23 originally and then we flew into milan instead so those were kind of the options on the table tell us about your wedding bands oh well joe unfortunately can't tell you about his wedding band Because he forgot it at home in New York. And we are in L.A. I didn't do it on purpose either. It's not like, it's not like, oh, okay, I can't bring this because I want to get hit on. I just, I just literally forgot it. I wasn't thinking that at all.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Mine's gold, like Matt Gold. Yep. And that's, yeah, ring concierge, Matt Gold. I have two. I have like a crisscross skinny. It's like two bands that are crisscross. And it's like just a skinny bands with diamonds. And then I have another one.
Starting point is 00:21:05 one that's like oval pave, I think is the word diamonds. But I have to take that one into ring concierge to get it fixed because it broke. How is Natasha doing? We miss hearing her voice. Will she ever come be a guest on Happy Hour? Should we call her? Yeah. You want to call her?
Starting point is 00:21:25 You call her. Okay. Let's see if she answers real quick. If she doesn't answer, then not good, Natasha. Not good. You guys are always playing phone tag. I'd be surprised if she answers. I'd be surprised.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Oh, wait. No, it's like 11.30 New York time. Yeah. And it's a Tuesday. Maybe don't call her. Yeah. Okay. But Natasha's good.
Starting point is 00:21:44 We see her all the time, but we all are constantly traveling. So it's hard to be in the same place at once. But we definitely have to get together with her before the holidays. Oh, this is her. She's calling me back. I didn't realize it was 1130 New York time, but you are live on happy hour because I'm answering fan questions. And they just said.
Starting point is 00:22:04 said, how's Natasha? So how you doing? You're just real quick. Fan questions. I'm great. I'm fantastic. Woo-hoo. All right.
Starting point is 00:22:14 So you heard it here first. She's doing fantastic. Natasha, I'll hit you up tomorrow. Okay. Bye. Bye, miss you. Okay. Natasha is wonderful.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Her wonderful dog, Naila, is great as well. And she's the best. Yep. Okay. Describe each other. in three words go um gotta go okay whoa whoa whoa um you're spontaneous those are three words you are romantic and you are funny thank you thank you pretty kind and lovely oh thank you lovely i don't know if that counts but okay it's such a lovely girl
Starting point is 00:23:00 what is your favorite way to spend date night um um going to a new restaurant that we're excited about or just like a restaurant that we love I'm more I'm more into like a restaurant that we love that has like a more like that cozier restaurant chill vibe that we really like more like Hillstone Hillstone Joe Joe you need to start working for Hillstone it's like the first time you've mentioned I'm on my Hellstone grind I don't know why all right um what is the screensaver of of each of your phones. Mine is a photo that I think Joe took this actually,
Starting point is 00:23:41 that we took just like of the scenery and Lake Como. What's yours? I have two. So when my phone's locked, it's the scenery of Lake Como. When it's open, it's a picture of Serena at our wedding. Oh, that's nice.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Thank you. Okay. What did you guys? Is there anything you would change about your wedding? honestly I could fully say no I loved our wedding I loved the wedding week
Starting point is 00:24:14 sometimes I go back and forth about my bow tie I feel like it could have been a little thinner and I if there was going to be any change it would potentially be in my talks but I did really like my talks but there's times that
Starting point is 00:24:30 I sometimes I don't know I don't know I could potentially change the tux. That would be the only thing. I loved your tucks. I really thought it was perfect. The only thing I would change, and this is if I'm being like so nitpicky because it really was so perfect, was I kind of wish we did like groomside, bride side for seating so that like when I looked out it was like I feel like everyone was mixed matched.
Starting point is 00:24:58 I like that. I like that. Yeah, no, I actually take that back. I like that it was mixed matched as well. but what I do wish is I had like unofficial bridesmaids like they didn't stand up there with us but I had six girls that like got ready with me and went on my bachelor's party and I wish that I had a row designated for them because they were kind of all over the place and some of them were sitting facing my back and they were like oh like we like we wish we sat here we didn't know so that was the only thing I would maybe change is do a designated row for my bridesma's that weren't standing up there so that like they all had like a really good seat and they were like all sitting together but again like that's me being so nitpicky like the day was literally amazing and so perfect would you guys ever do a rewatch series of your season of paradise um so i actually have an answer to this okay uh i always looked at that like
Starting point is 00:25:54 one day when we have children they're eventually going to want to see that so that is when I plan on doing the rewatch. Yeah, I don't know if I'm ready to rewatch our season of Paradise yet and recap it, because it's been, what, two and a half years now? Maybe I'm at like the 10-year mark. We'll do a re-watch recap. I think it could be fine. I'm not against it by any means.
Starting point is 00:26:23 I just... Too soon. Too soon. Yep. Tell us a weird fact you happen to know for no reason. doesn't have to be bachelor related A weird fact that you don't know for I don't I don't know
Starting point is 00:26:39 This is one of those things like I'm sure I have it But like now that I'm on the spot Yeah top Yeah Your nose I think grows until you're 40 years old Interesting Is that a weird fact? I think that's a weird fact
Starting point is 00:26:52 Do you got anything? You're full of facts Yeah I mean I don't know if they're weird though like I believe that you should get sunlight in your eyes within waking in the first 30 minutes. I think that's really good for you. Our friends who are also our neighbors will be like, yeah, look outside sometimes and Joe's just in the streets staring at the sun. I don't think that's a weird fact.
Starting point is 00:27:14 It's just a scientific fact. Yeah, there you go. All right. Next question. Was there a specific moment in paradise where you knew that you were each others forever? Wow. um that's like a a loaded question because like did i see you as someone that i was madly in love with that i wanted to spend my life with that i saw as like my husband yes but can i say that i knew
Starting point is 00:27:47 like 100% in paradise that we were each other's forever i don't know because there was just so much unknown there i think within the 10 days of leaving paris and being with you, when I left your apartment in Chicago, that's when I, like, felt like, yeah. Like, is that a bad answer? No, because I'm still not sure. No, I'm joking. No, I actually, I agree.
Starting point is 00:28:15 I feel like it was those 10 days after. Yeah. That was like, yes. And I don't think there was, because when you're in paradise. Like, it was the start of us integrating into each other's lives, kind of like testing living together a little bit, like where I was like, wow. Like, I could, like, I was with you 24-7 for 10 days in the real world. I'd already done it in Paradise.
Starting point is 00:28:36 And I was, like, crying when I had to leave you. Like, I was, like, I'm not going to get sick of this guy. Yeah. Paradise is just different because it's just there's, you're, there's so many emotions and so much is happening and everything's heightened. Yeah. That you can't really pinpoint a certain moment. But, yeah, I agree. It was those 10 days after for me, too.
Starting point is 00:28:56 Yeah. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Oh, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Starting point is 00:29:20 Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's, former professor and they're the same age. And it's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him?
Starting point is 00:29:33 Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. So in the last month, the Midas Touch Network beat Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro all combined. Conservative podcast can have a major political impact,
Starting point is 00:30:01 but the Micellis brothers, three siblings with a serious media strategy, are building an alternative to that. On the latest episode of Next Question with Katie Couric, I sat down with the brothers behind the Midas Touch Network to talk about how they built a progressive media powerhouse from the ground up, why audience interaction is the key to political influence and what it takes to fight disinformation at scale, one download at a time. We should be focusing on the issues that actually occupy a lot of the mental space in Americans' minds
Starting point is 00:30:35 but are filled with conspiracies, and we should fill it with the truth and solutions. Listen to next question with me, Katie Couric on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this. Passengers, the pilot is having an emergency, and we need someone, anyone, to land this plane. Think you could do it? It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control. And they're saying like, okay, pull this, pull that, turn this.
Starting point is 00:31:12 It's just, I can do it in my eyes close. I'm Mani. I'm Noah. This is Devon. And on our new show, no such thing. We get to the bottom of questions like these. Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence. Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise.
Starting point is 00:31:31 And then as we try the whole thing out for real. Wait, what? Oh, that's the run right. I'm looking at this thing. Listen to no such thing on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Not asking when you two are having kids, but do you have baby names already picked out? Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Matilda for a girl. Joe's been saying Matilda since like a few months into our relationship. He jumped on this and he's been riding that Matilda wave for the last two years. Yeah. And then I think for a boy, I think it's just Joe probably. um just too no we haven't really we haven't thought we haven't picked up we don't have baby names yet right no we don't have any baby yes but i do like um i do like like gender neutral names personally jo what is serena's best physical attribute serena same question about joe i would say serena's
Starting point is 00:32:36 best physical attribute um is what nothing where are you going to go with this well i'm going to go i'm going to be nice and say your face oh that's nice not my juicy booty sure you're let's cut that out my god this podcast um uh i will go i like your your arms and i like your hands you have big hands, and they're always very nicely groomed. I do groom. Okay. Well, the Bachelor franchise ever bring back Bachelor Pad. Full transparency, I never watched Bachelor Pad.
Starting point is 00:33:18 I know it was like the first season of Bachelor in Paradise, I believe. No, Bachelor Pad, I think, was before Paradise. Yeah. Chris Bikowsky was on it. Yeah, but I think it turned, I think Bachelor in Paradise, Bachelor in Paradise. Yes, yes. I think it morphed into it. So I would say no.
Starting point is 00:33:35 Usually things don't go back. For those who don't know what Bachelor Pat is, it was like the spinoff show with girl contestants and guy contestants. But I think it was more like competition style. Like it was like relationship and competition for money potentially. I've been saying this and I think they've dropped the ball on this. And I hope somebody from ABC is listening. And I should get executive producer credits. But we should definitely have a challenge type show with couple.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Facing off versus other couples or you bring couples versus singles and you have a competition show within the Bachelor franchise I don't understand why they don't do that a competition show or like like a housewife style show where it's like a whole bunch of Bachelor alumni like go on vacation together and it's just like following along on like the different friendships and relationships and dynamics like there's so many people from this franchise and so many relationships like let's do like a real Housewives of Bachelor Nation or like a summer house are there any reality stars from different shows that you think would be great as the bachelor or bachelorette are there any reality stars from different shows that you think would be great as the bachelor or bachelorette i'm trying to think of like single reality stars from other shows and if i'm being totally honest
Starting point is 00:34:55 we're not like out here watching a lot of them no i would say off the top of my head i'm I'm going to say that Harry Jousy because he was just on dancing with the stars. So he would be a good bachelor probably. That would be entertaining for sure. Okay. I'm trying to think. Do you have one? I mean like Chloe Kardashian would be sick.
Starting point is 00:35:19 Sure. I don't even consider them like real. I mean they're reality, but like. They're like so much more than that. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. How can you tell the difference between someone who lives in New York versus a tourist?
Starting point is 00:35:30 Well, I kind of consider us still tourists. I mean, we've only been there for... A year and a half. Yeah, well, we're going to hit two years pretty soon. I feel like, honestly, I kind of feel like you're a tourist until you are there for 10 years. Whoa. I think you need to be in a city for 10 years to consider yourself a local. That's insane.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Is that? Ten years, Joe? That's what I think. I, if I still consider myself, I live in New York, I love it, I love living there, but I still consider myself a Chicago and now if I'm in New York for 10 plus years, like would I consider myself a New Yorker? I mean, I don't consider us New Yorkers, but I don't consider us tourists. Yeah, I guess we do live there. I guess it's fair. Yeah. But I don't know if it's, it's, there's so many people in New York and everyone's kind of.
Starting point is 00:36:28 minding their business. I don't know if I could point out like a tourist versus a non-tourist, but I guess you could say like on like a Saturday, you'll see like a family walking around like the dad's got a backpack on and like. When families walk around and packs their tourists. Yeah, usually. For sure. Yeah. I mean like I look at them and be like that's what my family looks like when we came to New York. You know, like they're bundled in layers. They're ready for the day. Yeah. Do you two think it's important for a couple to live together before getting married? personally yes I do I think it's very important I agree I think everyone has their own preferences when it comes to that but for me I would not have been comfortable marrying Joe without
Starting point is 00:37:16 living with him first I do think it worked out for us thankfully and it's great but you learn so much about that person and there's always the chance that you live with them and you're like I can't live with this person for the rest of my life. Yeah, I, I mean, I know, I know there's people that that have different religious beliefs. Yeah, which is totally fine. Totally fine. But for me, I, I do need that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Yeah. And it worked out because we were both on the same page with that, that we both wanted to live together before we got married. And, you know, I think you just have to kind of be on the same page as your partner with that one. Okay. Last question. Who from the Golden Bachelor would be. The most fun to get a few drinks with. Oh.
Starting point is 00:38:02 I mean, I'm going to go Susan. Susan. Or Gary. Susan or Gary. Who are you going to go with? Uh, probably April because I feel like she talks the most shit. Yeah. April's definitely got some shit to talk.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Yep. So that's it. That's it. You guys, honestly, thank you so much for sending. in your questions. We make full episodes out of them. So thank you so much. It's been a lot of fun.
Starting point is 00:38:32 And make sure you tune in and subscribe to Bachelor Happy Hour. We have new episodes, exclusive episodes every week. Bye. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly and now I'm seriously suspicious. Wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just
Starting point is 00:38:50 looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast. So we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
