I just want to talk about something that happened this week because it's so bonkers, so stupid.
Such incredibly bad politics, we have to talk about it.

This time I talked to scientists, biopunks, curmudgins, blues owners, super seniors,

And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.
I'd say probably start bone smashing.

Hello, everyone.
Welcome back to Bachelor Happy Hour.
We are back for part two with our former producer, Des.
Let's get into it.
Des, it was one of the rare moments where it was like, again,
it was bigger than The Bachelor.
It was like break the bubble at this point.
Like I remember letting that we let the cast know of golden bachelorette what was happening,
which is something that, you know, it takes a lot to really break that fourth wall down and let people know.
But the cast was like, where is Des?
And there are very few people who will come into this world and have that sort of impact on cast members to where, you know, they, it just shows you like, the cast notices thing.
And if you don't tell them, it's almost disrespectful not to let them know that somebody that they love is going through something.
So it was one of those, I mean, you know, I've been with this show for 10 years in different capacities.
And it was one of the rare moments where it was like, you got to break the bubble here and let people know what's going on.
I don't even know what the point of jumping in and telling you this, but it really was just like one of those other bigger than the Bachelor moments that really revolved around you.
and it's just it's important for you to know that yeah thank you i like hearing those stories because i
obviously don't want i don't remember a lot um and some things i wasn't there for so hearing like
how people felt i mean that it really it really hits me and like that is so there's a lot okay so
when you have a brain aneurysm, most people don't survive.
And then of those who do survive, most don't make a full recovery.
So obviously at that time, and I think I was still unconscious, like people didn't know
whether or not I was going to survive.
And normally, so if someone unfortunately does pass, that's when people like,
you know, everyone comes to the funeral and everyone, like, makes the post and everyone, like,
says what this person meant to them, but they're not saying it to the person because the person's gone.
And a lot of times people wait until that happens.
But because people thought I was probably going to die, then I did it.
And then I woke up.
And, you know, everybody kind of, like, rushed to my side, you know,
physically if they could because I was in LA or just like on the phone or once I got back home.
But like I heard from everyone and that's when everyone told me like to my face what I meant to them.
And I know people like me like I'm fun.
I'm funny like whatever.
But I like to know how like I've impacted people and how.
how much people care.
Like, I don't know.
That's just an experience that like, and I hope no one else ever has to have it.
But that is the best thing for me that came out of it because it was really like eye-opening and just made me feel
so special and so appreciated and yeah I really I can't really put it into words but it really
meant it meant everything yeah yeah I think it's like like hearing you say that it's like
it kind of feels like silly to say sometimes like out loud or especially like hear yourself say
it but it's like at the end the day it's like a natural human like desire and emotion to like
want to hear that from like the people in our lives whether or not like it's something we like
say or speak out loud and like crave every single day or not like it's a natural human thing so
like it makes sense why that would like evoke so much emotion and feelings for you but especially
in this like time like when you're going through something so difficult and you know you're not
even sure of what the outcome would be on the other side and especially like me like as a friend and
like, you know, like close friend.
I have genuinely seen, and it's so crazy because I'm like, we can joke about it now.
And I know, like, you have such, like, dark humor.
But like, we like joke about it.
But it really is like, it's like you're our like actual like you're a miracle.
Like you really are like a living miracle.
And I'm going to cry again.
Like I'm so.
No.
I really am.
But like, okay, nope.
I just go off my period to you guys.
Like, please.
No, it.
Out of control.
It really is a miracle.
And like what happened, like you said, most people don't survive.
How has that changed your perspective on life after going through something so huge?
It's crazy because you start to think, well, why did I serve?
Not in a bad way, but like it, you start to think, okay, there's a, there has to be a reason.
Like if most people don't and I'm here, there has to be a reason.
I'm still trying to figure that out, but that's okay.
But like, you know, there, I believe is like a deeper purpose.
And it's just like, it's made me really, really grateful to be here and then grateful for everything.
Like, even just like, um, the fact.
So I never used to like work out or anything.
And like, I was going to say.
I was very, very, very lazy.
Um, but like now I'm like going to the gym and stuff and I can go like I went for a run yesterday. I'm like a runner now like and I'm like oh I can my body can do this and I remember when I couldn't stand up. I remember I couldn't walk and I didn't know if I, you know. So just every little thing. Um, yeah, I'm grateful for in a way that I unfortunately wasn't before because you take a lot of things for granted. Um, yeah.
Yeah, I was going to mention like the workout thing.
It's like funny.
Like I said, we could joke about it.
No.
It's like, Des would be like, she would look at you like so silly if you're like,
I'm going to the gym.
Do you want to come?
Or like, I'm going to do this.
Like, do you want to come?
And like last weekend or like, yeah, last weekend we did a run club.
And like, Dotten was like hosting it with Carl from like Summerhouse.
And like, Des was like so serious.
No, it was so mysterious.
But I was like, okay.
Like I was ready.
Like obviously Dotten wasn't going to run because of like chronic.
chronic lower back pain, but I was like, okay, I'll walk with him, whatever. But like, Des
came. And then she was like, yeah, Trudy, like, I really do think that we should run. Like,
let's get it going. And I was like, who is this person? Like, actually, who is this person? And
like, we like, she like pushed me, which is like, it's like crazy and it's so silly. But like,
I also don't run. Like, it's on my like bucket list one day to like run a marathon. But like,
I'm overcoming some things as well mentally. But it's like to have Des in my corner and being like the one
that's like helping me get over like a hurdle like that or like a mental block like that.
It's like it's just so inspiring and it's like it's so beautiful to see.
And like it's so funny too because I'm like with Dotten obviously like wellness is like a big
part of his life.
He sings of Des's praise almost every day.
He's like wow like I'm just so proud of Des.
like she's putting in the work like she's really like she's really turned her life
around like I'm just like so glad she can like find appreciation and like the beauty and
all of this and like doing it for her health.
Like, I mean, it really, like, this is like an inspiration. And it's like one of the small ways that you don't even realize, but it's like when people can see like a transformation or when people can just see like your joy and things that were like not as joyful before. Like that's a win. That's a success. Like, you know. So I don't know. We're just, we love you. And it's just like it's just so it's so inspiring to see. I don't know how much I can say that. But it really is.
Thank you. Yeah. I was literally the person.
that someone would be like, oh yeah, it's like a three, three block walk. I'll be like,
let's take an Uber. Like I didn't want to do any physical activity, but I just want my body
strong. I don't know how I fought that all. I got really lucky, but I want my body strong
in case anything else were to happen that I would hopefully be able to fight it off now.
And now the other producers that were working there at the time, some of them are
we're working out but a lot of them were not and we like now are all like we compete every day
with like our steps and going to the gym and like make fun of each other if someone like has a low
step day and like bully each other basically but like accountability so we've all gotten
really into it which is very strange yeah no but i love it it's it's just so beautiful it's funny but
It's beautiful.
It's really funny.
Okay.
What advice would you give to someone who might be facing something like this or overcoming, like, a challenge, a significant challenge?
Maybe in their personal lives, someone who's close to them.
Um, I think, I mean, the number one thing and I think the number one thing is your support system.
Like, that's the only way.
Not the only way.
But that's the way that I got through it and having people in your corner and like showing up for you and leaning on them.
Like some people don't like to lean on their support system and they're like, that's okay.
I can do it.
And like even after I got out of the hospital when I was like, you should have seen, it was a scary sight.
Because I had to do like, you know, physical therapy and occupational therapy, speech therapy and everything.
and you want to be like, no, it's okay, I can do this.
Just like in your everyday life and like not have people like, you know, holding things for you or like whatever.
You want to, you want to feel like you can do it because you used to be able to do it, but you can't do it.
So to be able to ask for help or to be able to say, hey, because I was trying to like be a normal person and be like, I could go to a restaurant.
Yeah.
And I couldn't because my mind, my brain was still like.
learning to work and I couldn't like focus on anything and I would hear all of the other like
conversations and and just to be like hey guys can we go somewhere else or I have to leave like but you
don't want to feel different you don't want to feel other so like I just think it's like about
leaning on the people that love you and are there to support you and telling them like
what you need or if you're having a tough
day telling them that. Or if, because I still struggle with, there's always going to be a couple of things
are a little bit different about the way my brain works. And sometimes I beat myself up about
those things if I like can't remember something or whatever it is. To just like give yourself a little
bit of grace or to ask your friends for help if you need to. Like I'm always asking charity of like
really dumb things that like like I'll be even to this day sometimes I just can't find words and I'll be
like, hey, can you pass me like what's the thing if you're going to take a drink and you want to
pick it up and you want to put it in your what do you? And she's like,
like a cup. I'm like, yeah, can you give me the cup? It's not that bad anymore. It was that bad.
But it's like certain words I might just have to, like you don't want to admit because you, me,
I'll speak for myself. I feel dumb and I know I'm not dumb. So it's hard to say to people like,
I don't know. It's just hard to ask for these things that you used to be able to do so normally.
but I'm learning to also lots of therapy surrounding that.
I'm learning to just give myself a break and lean on my people.
Beautiful.
And can you give us an update on your health today and where you're at?
It's doing really good.
I think that this is as per the doctors, like as good as it's going to get.
but it's like I feel I feel very close to 100%.
Like I said, there's like little things, memory things,
or I can't find a word or like my attention span sometimes.
But like people, if you don't know me super, super, super well,
you really can't tell anything happened.
I'm doing really well.
like physically I have maybe some like balance issues sometimes like if I'm like taking a dance
class or something but like um yeah other than that I I feel and there's like little things like
I forgot my left from my right which like I used to know but like the brain is a weird a weird thing
um but yeah I am I think I'm doing really well and the doctors
seem to think so too and that I am a rare case, which is nice.
I don't know how this happened to me, you know, that my recovery went so well.
But I think, yeah, it's, I'm, I've been very, very, very, very, very blessed.
Yeah.
Well, we love you so, so, so, so much.
I love you guys.
So, so much.
And thank you both, honestly.
Thank you both for being there for me in that.
time and since that time and yeah um it really like i i don't forget well i forget a lot of things
now but i but one thing i i have not forgotten is everyone that showed up for me in whatever way
they could like from all different like parts of my life um that that meant a lot rachel you're on
my wall right over there. Remember we checked that little Polaroid. I have a whole Polaroid wall.
Katie is on the wall too. I brought those red roses and they fully confiscated them.
And does it. They did. God. Wait, why? They said I couldn't bring up. I don't know. Yeah.
And I brought all the red roses. There's no shortcut for saving time. But saving money is simple.

Levels up beyond basketball.
It's been really, really cool seeing kind of these women just really step into their power

Yeah, here we are.
Each week, you'll get my hot takes on the news and insider knowledge and insights from my smart friends and colleagues.
I think our politics has shifted away from left versus right.
The new paradigm that drives our politics is front versus back.
People who feel like they're stuck at the back of the line versus everyone.
they see in front of them, keeping them at the back of the line.
Come, find some sanity in the weekly news.

I'm Munga Shatigula and I'm back with a new season of the podcast, Skyline Drive.
This time I'm diving into a rabbit hole of peptides, organoids, blood boys, blue zones and brain
replacement to try to understand what this longevity obsession is all about.
and what it really means to live forever, for all of us.
I learned about some rad science.
I can make a brain for you,
and then we can test what draw is the best for your brain,
as opposed to his brain.
Here are some hard truths.
I would expect Indians to age faster,
but I did not expect it to be almost a four-to-five-year acceleration.
And get myself into a world of trouble.
I'd say probably start bone smashing.
That doesn't work.

Hey, guys, Paul Verze here,
and I want to talk to you about Paul's best podcast.
Will Ferrell's Big Money Players Network and IHeart Radio.
I sit down each week with a special guest,
and we discuss the absolute best of things.
It's that, and then there's everything else.
He would just shout one line and it would murder.
Marie Lunch.
Let's talk about the best moments that we had on the road.
I would love a cocktail.
Do Joe could get last row, middle seat, on a Southwest Airlines flight?
Joe, how was your flight?
It was great.
The guy on Penn State moving on the field.
And the player thought Joe is his former coach.
And he hugged him and hugged him.
And Joe just went with it.
And the guy goes, what are you doing here, coach?
And Joe just goes, man.
And you walk in and it is bananas.
I mean, it's a feast for the eyes.
And I was like, it's not my thing either, but we're here.
When in Rome?
Top athletes, chefs, musicians, everybody.

Okay, we are going to pivot back to some behind the scene moments before we segue into our last portion.
But I think this is like a great opportunity to really give like some untold stories, some nitty-gritty, some.
some real scoop, some tea, maybe about Rachel and I, or just other contestants, but feel free.
So we're going to have some real open dialogue because I'm like, I almost want you to share
something about me that I probably don't even know about myself. So let's, let's get into it.
Okay. What are some of your favorite memories with us, me and Rachel? And it could be separate
together. Yeah. Okay. Favorite memories? Oh, God. Okay.
Charlie, you probably know what I'm going to say.
I'm scared.
I think I do, but I'm going to die of laughing.
This is like what I think it is.
I think it probably is.
I think it probably is. Okay.
So night one.
Yeah?
Yes.
Okay.
Okay.
Night one.
I mean, it's a nine million hour day, but it's like getting further and further and
further into the night.
and sometimes not everyone gets to speak to the lead.
Oh my God.
And we are running around, like the producers are running around like crazy people trying to facilitate that happening specifically for our people.
And it's really, really, really hard.
And it's a delicate dance.
My cheeks are hurting.
I know.
I keep.
I just like and it's like you have you have people coming up to you all night and it's your people
it's other people's other producers people just like begging you I mean like what can you
do for me and I'm like I'm trying so hard like I want everyone to talk to him I'm trying I'm trying
so um I just you know kept saying like I'm working on all I can say I'm working on it because I
I genuinely am, but, oh, so charity was so sweet.
And I think, like, when I said, like, oh, I thought she was like this amic, like, you know, very, like, chill, soft-spoken girl.
This is when it switched.
So she had a couple of time.
Hello, I'm tired at this point.
Really tired.
Everyone's, like, losing their minds.
We're all, like, a little, like, a delusional, like, we're delirious.
Like, we're, yeah.
See, my brain did the thing.
Um, but, um, yeah, so she's like, had asked me a couple times. And then this last time, like,
we're in the backyard. And I just like, I swear to you, I hear heels stomping, clicking towards,
I wish I could get up and do it right now, stomping and clicking towards me. And I like, look and it's
charity. And she is marching up to me. And she's like, that's a right.
I cannot.
not real.
She said government name.
I sure did.
I'm like, I'm like, I.
She's like, everything's okay?
No, it's not.
Okay.
Actually no.
Yeah, it was that energy.
She's like, nope, nope.
She's like, it is 6 a.m. or whatever.
Which 6 a.m. sounds crazy, but we honestly do still have a couple hours left in the night at that point.
And she's like, I have not talk to him.
and I needed it and I was like, oh my God, I'm so sorry.
Oh my God.
And I didn't know she had it in her.
And I was like, okay, copy.
I like this, though.
Yeah, she was like, I really like this girl.
Yes.
All was fine.
But the way she charged at me, like, I was like, oh, she means business.
Okay.
And it was fine.
She had a cute little moment with him on the little, on the front steps.
And yes.
Aw, very cute.
So it was worth the wait, but I was tired of waiting.
It was worth the weight. She was taught.
And she let me know.
She did let me know that.
I sure did.
I said here, Desire.
She didn't let me know that.
Yes.
Oh, my gosh.
My cheeks are literally hurting from these trees.
Okay. What's yours with Rachel's?
Okay, Rachel, it was always in an airport.
I'm screaming.
I don't even know if I could say.
Me and Rachel loves a little airport.
poor catch-up session, like, we would find, yes, we did, yes, we did.
We would, because, so the producers, the producers travel with the cast because you guys
don't have, like, your phones or, you're, like, uh, tickets or any of that.
We're literally in daycare.
Like, we have nothing.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, like, if I was ever in an airport, I would have to find Rachel.
And, like, we are just, like, relaxing.
and like having a moment like decompressing and talking about all the things.
I needed my debrief with Des because I had another producer who was my main producer.
And so I had to catch Des up on everything.
And that was always our time that we always had together.
Yes.
She would catch me up on everything and all the reasons why she's about to get sent home in her mind.
I was.
That is crazy.
This is so happy how we're coded.
People don't understand that I packed for me.
one week for this show because I thought I was going on night one Rachel I was just happy to be there
I was like this is a cool story I'm going back to the airport tomorrow see you guys later
this has been so much fun and does always like yeah we'll see you get that group date roads
tonight this is Lily I'm like this is yeah Kylie too it's Kylie too it's kind of the same thing I was
a girl is we have we have had enough like you are still here you are okay and what I'm gonna need
is for both you, Rachel and Kylie, to look in a mirror every now and that.
Like, honestly.
And be like, everything's going to be okay.
Like, I, if I'm a man, you will get a rose for me.
Like, that's just, it's happening.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay, I have to ask, who was your most memorable cast to produce and what contestants were memorable besides us?
Okay, besides you guys.
I would say most memorable cast as a whole would be Michelle's guys because that was my so my first season was Paradise but then my first like full season with like a lead was Michelle's and and okay so the thing so I that's the season that I cast also before I started so some of those guys I had even met like in the casting phase which was cool to like then go through.
with them and they were just they were my first cast so like it was like a special thing but
they also were just so fun and funny and like yeah I don't know like just I love those guys I don't
know she had a great cast she had a great cast anyone that you thought would have made a really
good lead from her season don't need to think about it Rodney oh no I know I was like that's I feel like
it's too obvious. Rodney. Yeah. Oh. Missed opportunity. He's doing great now. Very happy. Married. Yeah. So it
happened the way that it was supposed to happen. But back then, I was like, hello.
Rodney over Clayton? You guys know I love Clayton. Yes. I do. I love Clayton. I love Clayton. Yes. I do
so I can never say a bad word about him either.
No, but yeah.
We would never do that here.
I have a question.
When was the moment you realized Charity was going to choose Dot in?
Okay.
I feel like there were moments, like several moments, but we're just like kind of kept happening.
Because she was also very much in the process.
and like, you know, staying like open and all of that.
But the first moment, I was like, oh, wait a minute.
It was honestly their first one-on-one in Skamania, Washington.
Yeah.
Scamia.
Yep, yep, yep.
In the woods.
In the woods.
Hair and my stop.
No, precise.
Making out.
She was like, charity, and I was like, leave me alone.
Like, don't talk to me right now.
I was like, let's, let's.
And she's like, I'm busy.
I'm in the hot tub.
She tried to get.
you to face the hair.
No.
On record.
On record.
On record.
Yes.
Yes.
It was crazy.
And didn't I ask?
I asked you if he could spend the night.
Yeah.
You tried it.
You tried it.
You tried it.
And you said no.
I said you're coming back with me.
You are coming back with me.
I was so upset.
I think that was like the first time I was like starting to get a little feisty with them.
But I was like, okay.
Yeah.
No, no.
Too much too soon.
Too much too soon, but I was like, you know, all in due time.
I really, like, you know, I did not have that moment like that, like a first date.
Like I had them.
They all went great.
But like that was like a moment.
I said,
Charity, I can't believe you asked just by the night.
This is actually tea.
No, but like it's like, you know, like you're like everything in my, and like granted I could
have just been in the moment with the body.
But I was like, no.
In the hot top.
Yes.
Yeah.
Like it just.
It makes it.
She said, let's keep these good vibes.
going. Correct. Like every aspect of the day went good. Like there was no like awkward moment. So that's when I was
like, yeah, like, I'm really comfortable with this man. And like that's a huge sign for me.
Because like when I let my guard down and when I'm like silly, I was doing like stuff I would have
probably kept closed off with any other guy for some time. But I was doing it the very first time.
We got like quality one-on-one time. So yeah. Des. Yeah. There was there. And on both ends too,
like just how comfortable you guys were around each.
Heather and I will say and I have said this to him too he was not on my radar like I'm like no I know
I know really no no not until that day I was like even though he was six foot 10 that's always on my
radar that's always on my radar but I wasn't we didn't see him we clocked him we clocked him for sure
but I wasn't like there was not a thing where I was like oh let's watch out for this guy I was just like
oh, this is a cool guy who's like nice and fun.
And like, but then that day I was like, oh, wait, no, there is something here that I'm not sure if either of them really, I don't know.
I will say they didn't know because I saw them see it together.
Like I saw it click for both of them.
Yeah.
It was crazy.
I love this.

Hey everybody, I'm
Tarika Foster
Brasby.
What's up,
y'all?
I'm your girl
Cheryl Swoops.
When you
tune in to a new
episode of
our podcast
levels to this,
you're definitely
going to get
some spiced
WNBA
analysis.
I see a lot
of men who
get into the
space because
now it's a
hot product.
And that
grinds my
gears to dust.
But then,
the conversation
goes on
and levels up
beyond basketball.
It's been
really, really cool seeing kind of these women just really step into their power off the court
and understand that they aren't basketball, right?
And they're not asking for permission?
Because on levels to this, the game is always the starting point, but we're more than just hoops.
And the real conversation is what we actually bring.
This is Levels to This, the podcast about all the levels of stuff that women go through.
Listen to Levels to This with Cheryl's Hoops and Tarika Foster Bray.
on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
My loyalties lie with no party, only with what I think is good and right and fair.
So when Democrats are messing up, I say it.
When Republicans are messing up, I say it.
I'm S.E. Cup, a journalist and political commentator.
And on my podcast, Off the Cup, I help you make sense of the often nonsensical news.
I do this on cable news, too, but on my podcast, I can really.
let loose and be my honest, unfiltered self.
Sometimes I still can't believe we keep electing men to run the country.
Yeah, here we are.
Each week, you'll get my hot takes on the news and insider knowledge and insights from my
smart friends and colleagues.
I think our politics has shifted away from left versus right.
The new paradigm that drives our politics is front versus back.
People who feel like they're stuck at the back of the line versus everyone they see in front
of them keeping them at the back of the line.
Come, find some sanity in the weekly news.

I'm Munges shit together and I'm back with a new season of the podcast Skyline Drive.
This time I'm diving into a rabbit hole of peptides, organoids, blood boys, blue zones and brain replacement to try to understand what this longevity obsession is all about and what it really means to live forever for all of us.
I learned about some rad science.
I can make a brain for you,
and then we can test what draw is the best for your brain,
as opposed to his brain.
Here are some hard truths.
I would expect Indians to age faster,
but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five-year acceleration.
And get myself into a world of trouble.
I'd say probably start bones smashing.
That doesn't work.
Make it look more defined.
They say it works.
I don't know.
Listen to Skyline Drive,
How to Live Forever,
on the IHeart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcast.
Hey, guys, Paul Verze here,
and I want to talk to you
about Paul's best podcast.
Will Ferrell's Big Money Players Network
and IHeart Radio.
I sit down each week
with a special guest
and we discuss the absolute best of things.
Pete Davidson.
It's that, and then there's everything up.
He would just shout one line
and it would murder.
Marie, lunch!
Bill Burr.
Let's talk.
about the best moments that we had on the road.
I would love a cocktail.
Dude, Joe could get last row, middle seat on a Southwest Airlines flight.
Joe, how was your flight?
It was great.
The guy on Penn State moving on the field, and the player thought Joe is his former coach.
And he hugged him and hugged him and Joe just went with it.
And the guy goes, what are you doing here, coach?
And Joe just goes, man.
And you walk in and it is bananas.
I mean, it's a feast for the eyes.
And I was like, it's not my thing either, but we're here.
We're here.
When in Rome.
Top athletes, chefs, musicians, everybody.
Listen to Paul's best podcast on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
How early are you able to tell that someone is not there for the right reasons?
So for some people, you can tell pretty early.
Because with the cameras around almost, not 24-7, but all the time, like, they're going to say something.
And like sometimes I'll hear something and I'm like, did they mean that?
And I don't know.
And then I'll pay attention and they'll keep saying like they'll keep saying the thing.
And then it becomes pretty obvious.
Then it becomes pretty obvious to the rest of the cast.
And eventually, hopefully it becomes obvious like to the lead.
There are some instances maybe where I have like some very.
very rarely but sometimes someone's really good at it and I have not realized that until late in
the game before um but usually we can tell really early but we are also humans so I don't
always like I can't read people's minds but um it it usually does become evident yeah
interesting
I was going to say I want to know
I know actually
you have to say some names
yes yeah
we would talk
but with that being said
what is some advice
that you would give to contestants
going or looking to go on
the Bachelor of Bachelorette
okay so I usually
when someone is not
like
familiar
or super familiar with the show
I say keep it that way.
Like I don't recommend like because sometimes if you do too much like research,
you're too in your head and you're looking for something and then you're like just reading into things that are not even really necessarily there.
But you're like, oh, I know why this is happening because this is about to happen or this is whatever.
And you're trying to like do too much and it's taking you out of it.
So I, it's hard.
It's very, very hard.
But the best thing you can do is try to just like relax, go with the flow.
And just try to show who you are and not try to be a certain version of yourself that you think the person is going to want to see because it does, it just looks.
It doesn't even look like that version you're trying to put forward.
It just it looks not genuine.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
amazing okay listen you got some bt s behind the scenes okay but before we leave does you know we always
have to play a game so hopefully you're up for it but we're going to play a quick game called hot
or not bachelor edition so we're going to list out all things bachelor and you're going to tell us if
you think it's hot or not and briefly why okay got it all right starting off with the one and the
only hot tub dates.
Hot.
It's so hot. It's so hot. I do know
that there are mixed reviews on this.
I don't get why. I don't get why.
Like, that's such a hot date.
Because we see it a lot, but like it's still hot.
Yeah, it's hot every time. We see it a lot because it's hot.
Yeah. And even better when the hot tub pops up in the middle of like nowhere to be.
It's a pretty scenario.
Yeah, a little barrel.
and a cornfield.
Yeah.
Oh, literally.
I love it.
Okay.
Hot or not, two-on-ones?
Lukewarm.
I was going to say hot.
Hot.
Hot.
Hot.
Okay.
They're challenging.
Two-on-ones are challenging.
But they're usually happen because they need to happen, I think.
And, you know,
There's a little bit of, it was a little, we like a little drama.
We like a little drama.
I'll say hot.
It is kind of hot like watching two guys fight over charity because you had a 12 one,
didn't you?
She had a three on one.
Did you have a three on one?
No, two on one.
It was a three.
Yeah, who was the third?
Okay, wait, there was Sean Tanner.
Was there somebody else?
No.
That's it.
And both of them fighting over her at the table.
Brain is right.
It was just like,
he's like there was a third there
I said he's the third
I'm like oh my god I completely forgot
I'm making things out guys
don't ever listen to me
it was it was very interesting but like
I think that about all two and ones
I'm like the hot part of it is it's like
oh like you kind of see them come out of their shell
or like it kind of forces them to
and it's like okay like how much are you really
going to put on the line now for me
so it's like I you know that part's like
I kind of like it you know
I like a little competition
yeah I like it
I like it.
Okay.
The next one, I'm thinking I'm like, didn't you do this, Rachel?
Striptease dates.
I don't think we had a strictise.
We had like a Baywatch date.
We were in our baby suit.
What was the first one that you guys did?
A talent.
You had a talent show, right?
Oh, talent show.
Yeah.
Oh, I literally don't even think about my season.
Like, I fully block my own season out of my brain.
I'm thinking Bachelor.
We had a talent show.
I can't remember if anyone stripped, but there was.
Were they in there like
I feel like somebody
Yeah somebody did something
They wore ample clothes
I feel like they had robes on for some reason
It does like I fully just choose
To not remember my season
I'm like I fully just don't remember anything
But I think they were in Speedos
Because we were supposed to be at the pool
Speedos with robes and I feel like
Some of them were taking robes off
And like
Okay
Maybe
Um
Okay so strip T's no not hot
Not hot because the men are so bad at it.
They're so bad.
Like, yes.
They're like really, they're really like, they're really like, they tend to be really like stiff and like, like, I don't know.
They're not good at it.
Or then some of them are good at it.
But like, then that's my friend and I'm like, it'll stop.
So.
Yeah.
All right.
Not being there to make friends.
I think not because sure like there's an element of that there's an element of like yes you're here for one thing and like okay but for people that like go in with that attitude it's a little like it's a little aggressive like it's a little like and you should be there to make friends we all like you're you're you're like you're like you're like you're like you're like.
lost a word, you're limiting, limiting, limiting yourself and your, thank you, and your experience
by being like, I'm not here to make friends and like, I don't know, like, it's just a certain attitude
that comes with that. Now, if something happens and someone doesn't like you, and are standing up
for yourself, absolutely. And like, not everyone has to be your friend, but to come in, like,
I don't know, with that attitude I don't love. Agreed. Agreed. Okay.
The next one.
Oh.
The contestant go into the Leeds room unannounced.
Hot.
Hello.
Hot.
Charity, did you ever do that?
No.
Oh my God.
Me?
She has a contestant?
No.
Des, you remember on my season I did that?
Wait, I don't.
I'm late in season.
What?
When?
I don't remember.
I forgot where we were.
You did?
Did the ring and announce?
Rachel, you want to do the last one?
Okay.
What should we do for the last one, Charity?
What do you think?
I don't know.
Give us a really good one.
Okay.
Hot or not causing drama at the tell-all
and you're not being involved in it?
Not hot.
At all.
It's not hot.
It happens all the time.
It does.
It does.
And like, okay.
I get it.
It's the tell-all.
We're here to, like, talk about all of the things that happened throughout the season.
And I, like, as I think you guys should, I feel like it's different if you are, it's something that you were directly involved in or you're like supporting your friend or you were there for.
But if you have like, no idea what's going on.
I don't.
Right.
It's not.
It's always the people who like weren't even there for the situation that I have so much to say.
There's so much to say.
And I'm like, and I feel like at this point, it just, I feel like it's so obvious.
Like, you know, it's like, it's obvious.
It's like an obvious play like in the playbook now.
It's like, okay, I know what you're trying to do here.
And it's like, I'm just like, I'm not interested like, because it's like it doesn't seem like, you know, like it doesn't seem organic.
It doesn't seem like, like what's your purpose here?
And your purpose has nothing to even do with the situation.
It's like when this is all said and done.
So like, we're good.
We're so good.
Yeah.
That's the thing.
There has to be a reason.
That's as long as there's a reason.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Okay. I can't believe this is coming to a close.
I know. I could literally talk forever.
Like, yeah, I'll be back. I'll be back. I'll see you, see you next week. Okay, cool.
See you next week. Oh, this was so much. Copy that. Copy that. Copy that.
Saz, thank you so much for joining us on Happy Hour. Again, please come back any time.
