I'm ready to go right up to present day.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Listen to Crimless on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Bachelor Happy Hour. We are back for Part 2, so let's get into it. Okay, so last week on Bachelor Nation Instagram account, we asked you all to submit questions so that we could dive in a little more about The Bachelor behind the scenes, which I don't think we have. really done this like this before. So we're going to answer some of those questions for you, the best of our abilities and honestly maybe give you some stories, some insights, whatever we have, some hidden gyms for you guys. Okay, Rachel, you want to take us away?
Starting point is 00:03:14 Okay. I am so excited. Like you said, these are some questions I had to ask if we're actually allowed to talk about these. So this is pretty big. So the first question is from Ashley. And it says besides applying online, is there anything you can do to better your chances of getting cast? I always say, like, and this is my advice just to anyone, and maybe just because I'm like, I didn't do anything special. I don't think I did. I really don't. If anything, I was like, oh, I'm not getting casted on the show. I think it's just truly to be yourself. Like, there is some quirk in your personality that if the producers, like, if that's specifically what they're looking for and it's your time and the stars aligned, it will happen.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Like, that's just, I'm a firm believer of that because I did nothing special. I did not, like, call up anybody. I did not DM anybody. Like, I just got picked and I said, thank you, Lord. Hello. About to go find me a husband. And she did. I mean, obviously, I literally, how could you not?
Starting point is 00:04:17 You were like the perfect bachelor candidate. I couldn't have created. It's so funny people say that because I'm like, that's more. My friend who nominated me, she said the same thing. And I'm just like, I don't even know what that means. I'm like, I haven't studied this show and out to be like, no, not in that way. Just you're so well spoken and eloquent and beautiful and successful and smart.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Like I'm good for the brand. You're amazing. That's what Rachel's Jonathan said. They saw me and they said, can we create Pilot Pete 2.0 with a girl? And I said yes. I'm dead. He said actually a mission accepted. Challenge exception.
Starting point is 00:04:55 I will say, okay. So I think when you're. applying because I applied. I think one of my pictures was like me outside the airplane. So maybe if you do something cool or you have a fun hobby, something that could maybe get their interest to look into a little more. And I would say keep your Instagram on public because then if they went to look you up, they could maybe see some more. Browse. Yeah. But they are seeing those applications. Like that is very real. So keep trying and I yeah, when it's your time, it's your time. That's a good one, keeping your profile open because I don't even, I'm like, then I'm just like, where did they
Starting point is 00:05:35 get the pictures from? Maybe my Facebook. I think they go and look. Yeah, I was like, I was not active and I was not public on Instagram, but I, they found you on LinkedIn. They found me somewhere, somewhere, Google images, search, reverse search image. They, they found. They found you. They found you. They found reverse search image. They searched the perfect Bachelor of Destiny. You just popped up. That's me. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Okay. Let's do another one. This is from Alyssa. So do leads get a say in any kind of 101 dates that they want for the season. I'm like, I don't know. I think like we definitely like mention like our interests.
Starting point is 00:06:22 I think that's, It's a big one. And then obviously we, you know, they love a, they love a fear one. They love like, what are your fears? And so specifically on my season, I was like, I'll do anything but, which thank God, I'm like, we didn't even travel international. So there was no way to have me shark dive. But I was like, I'm not doing like shark, cage diving.
Starting point is 00:06:43 No. And then I also said I was not skydiving. And, well, what did I end up doing? Bungy jumping with your husband. With my husband. And so I guess it didn't work in that sense. But I think I definitely approached, I don't know, my head was just more of like realistic versus like the fantasy like dates. Like I obviously love being treated like a princess.
Starting point is 00:07:05 But I was like, can the man help me build a cabinet? Because we will have lots of cabinets to build. Like can we cook together? Like I wanted to do like cooking dates. Like I'm very someone who's like I need to like be immersed. If we're traveling like immersed in a culture, like I want to like what are, you know, the people. this region do like let's you know be let's be cultured together so those were my suggestions um some of those obviously happened and some didn't so i think they know but it's also just based off of like
Starting point is 00:07:34 as much as much as it is the lead it's also based off of like you know the group of people that you have yeah i think a lot of the dates are planned like pretty far in advance before they pick a lead but i remember there was one day where they went up to me and gabby and they were like, okay, Gabby, tomorrow you get hot tub and wine. Rachel, you're going in the airplane. So I think they do keep things in mind for certain people. But yeah, I mean, they're all fun. Who wouldn't want to go on the date?
Starting point is 00:08:05 It's like you really can't, you can't go wrong. Exactly. Okay. Rachel, you want to do another one? Okay. This one I love. This is from Annalisa. How many bathrooms do the cast members have to share in the Bachelor
Starting point is 00:08:21 mansion. Not not a lot. I was trying to how many full showers like how many usable showers two or three? I want to say two or three. I think two because they were on opposite end of the halls. And the one doesn't have shower pressure. It literally trickles. I totally lied. There's technically four, but there's two big ones like there's the two big bathrooms. And then if you were in the small room, we had our own individual bathroom. It's tiny. But I was like, everyone leave. me alone. The tiny one was like, I'm going in this one space, like secluded. So that one. And then I think there's another one, but like we never had access to it. There's like one that's kind of like wrapped around on the other side. But I don't think anyone. So technically three bathrooms. And there are so many spaces that
Starting point is 00:09:08 we just can't access because they're interview rooms or their production rooms. So when we say that like we are showering together in the mansion, we are like literally not kidding. There's one shower that has. That's like five shower heads. I had been in that multi, like, you're all getting ready for a group date. You all have to be ready at the same time. It's, it's, it's, it's, we're in that room. Like, it's literally, I was like, I, and they always say, oh, like, being in a sorority prepares, you know, I was like, no, it does not.
Starting point is 00:09:41 I'm like, this didn't prepare me for, shoot. I was not, I was not happy about that. I was like, okay, okay. The joys of being a girl, girl. girlhood. And I'm like, I also wonder, I'm like, what, what are the guys doing? Are they just in? I don't know. That's a better question. Like, what are, are they all one by one taking their time? And, you know, they're probably also not showering. I'm sorry. That's also insane. They're jumping in the pool and saying they had a shower. Correct. Yeah. Okay. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Okay, this is my favorite one from Emmy Lou. What a cute little name. Do the roses have names on them? And how do you remember everyone's names on night one. Okay. I will say there are no names on the roses at all. For me, how I remembered everyone's names on night one, I just have photographic memory. I think that's what, and ask Carrie, I should have asked him last week. He was on our podcast. I, he had literally said, I had never seen anything like this. He was like, I knew everyone's names by the end of the limos. And I'm like, okay, so that was like Warwick, Aaron B, John B, Caleb, Dotten. It's like, I would just be like, okay, I got it. And so by the end of the limos, I already knew everyone's names.
Starting point is 00:11:03 It's just like, yeah, there was like some that I'd be like, okay, I need a little bit of reminder. But for the most part, I knew. I was like, oh, this is, I'm going to go chat with Xavier. Like, I knew. So I don't know. Do your rose ceremonies in one go? I did, I did maybe like maybe a total three. takes. Like I did a, I did like maybe 10, 10 names at a time. So, and I didn't have that many guys.
Starting point is 00:11:25 I had like, only 26 guys. Yeah. So I was like, I basically did three. When I tell you, did you do like every three name. They would not let me and Gabby have more than two to three. They said, we said, no, we can handle more. They said, you two. I'm screaming. I've had seven glasses of shipping. You will be back here after two days. I would like but that was four I guess we were like getting chunks out like because we're calling so many with the two of us but I yeah two or three at a time that's but see and that's what I didn't want to do because I was like I felt like if I had to keep going back like that just was annoying for me it's like okay I already know who like I can tell you right now top eight like I can tell you right now let me get them out so I just want to get it off the way for those listening the process the process is is that they'll tell us, okay, you're going to call Joe and then you're going to call Bob. So you go out and you pick up the rose and you have to hold the rose for like a long time. And then you say Joe and then Joe and then you do the same thing and then Bob and then you will leave.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Exactly. And you have to come back and do it again. That's how they get to take. Yeah. So those ceremony nights are long. They're very long, very long, which I think is like another question. How long are there race ceremonies usually? Um, a long time.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Hours. I don't know how they seem to y'all, but they are long. So just no, yeah, long and probably towards the end. We're just like, ah, okay, thank God this is ever with. But, you know, they're fun. The first one. Yeah, the first one is always the most interesting one. Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:09 Scary, but interesting. Yeah. Yes. Initiation. And speaking of night one, there is a question from Abby that says, do cast members have to get their night one dresses approved? Two women wore the same dress in different colors on Zach's night one, which I didn't know. I'm like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:27 So I think that was Christina and there's another girl. I'm blinking. God forbid. I'm sorry. Literally. I just, my memory is shit now. That we need to get Madison. She would know.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Right. We need her as our third host. Which is so funny because I'm like, we do. Like, and I do. I think they do that. So it's like obviously all of us, we don't all show up in like this red, rosy dress. I'm sure red is like probably one of the most like requested colors. So yes, we do. But I think I don't know, maybe they do that to like, you know, just to be a little, a little fun, spark some. That's my only, that's my only thought process behind it.
Starting point is 00:14:08 I can also tell you guys that we do it because some camera patterns or some dress patterns look crazy on camera and they won't translate. So as producers, they have to make sure that your dress isn't going to completely explode on camera. Got it. It's called moraying and you don't want that to happen. It happens a lot with kind of mesh tops almost and it looks like it's like blurred. It looks like you have blur over you.
Starting point is 00:14:35 But I would honestly guess if they wore the same dress in different colors that they probably didn't even know. because men, I feel like, don't notice that. It's the same dress. They would just be like, all right, we have a pink dress and a green dress. Right. I don't know. There's a lot of similar styles and a lot of similar, like, obviously, like, designers.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Because I think another big thing to, like, Keri talked about is that a lot of us wear sequins night one. And it's just because the ground is, like, wet. And so sequence is just a little bit easier rather than, like, having, like, cloth or sat in, like, obviously sat and you'll see the water stains very easy. easily sequence they absorb, but you can't really see it. So yeah. That's night one dresses. Let's see. There's so many.
Starting point is 00:15:24 I know. I'm trying to choose like the juicy ones. I know. You experience. Jellyroll. Live in Quebec City. A festival date de Quebec. Presented by Bell in collaboration with Coors Life.
Starting point is 00:15:40 You ain't nothing but a liar. You could win VIP tickets for two for July. 9th with flights, hotel and $1,000 cash. I'm wide awake and I'm dreaming. Download the IHart Radio app. Listen to Pure Country for 10 minutes and enter to win.
Starting point is 00:15:57 Jelly Roll, live at FQ. Every day you listen is another chance to win. Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers and guess what? We have some big news. What's the news, news? Huge news. We created our own podcast called, Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast?
Starting point is 00:16:15 Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to a First people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts. We're starting a trend. But this one's extra special. So how did we actually come up with a name, Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it.
Starting point is 00:16:32 Well, we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band. Before Jonas Brothers was... This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast. We could call in and say, hey Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas,
Starting point is 00:16:52 and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it. Another podcast from some SNL late-night comedy guy, not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier.
Starting point is 00:17:16 This week, my guest, Nell's Mikey Day and head writer Streeter Seidel help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
Starting point is 00:17:33 or wherever you get your podcasts. If you're watching the latest season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, you already know there's a lot to break down. Gorsha accusing Kelly of sleeping with a merry man. They hold and Kay Michelle back from Friday. Drew. Pinky has financial issues. I like the bougie style of Housewives show. I think it looks like
Starting point is 00:17:53 going to be interesting. On the podcast, Reality with the King, I, Carlos King, recap the biggest moments from your favorite reality shows including the Real Housewives franchise, the drama, the alliances, M&T, everybody's talking about. As an executive producer
Starting point is 00:18:09 in reality television, I'm not just watching it. I understand the game. As somebody who creates shows, I'll even say this. At the end of the day, when people are at home, they want entertainment. To hear this and more, listen to Reality with the King on the IHard Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, I'm Jared Adano. You might know me as that loud guy who yells out, help on the internet. Help! But there's so much more to me than that. I'm an actor. I'm a comedian. And recently, I've become quite the helper myself.
Starting point is 00:18:46 And on my new podcast, Hope from a Hippocrite, I'll be changing. lives, helping people in need with my sage advice and thoughtful solutions. Sike, I'm a comedian. I'm not qualified to give good advice. Join me and my comedian friends as we riff, rant, recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to man. If I'm calling you, even if you're on your phone, let it ring twice. One ring is too scary.
Starting point is 00:19:13 Oh, cream of chicken suit. Hey, cream. Cream a chicken suit. This is help from a hypocrite. The worst advice from the dumbest people you know. Listen to Help from Hypocrite as part of the Mike Coutura Podcast Network available on the IFart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is from Sasha. Can you tell us about travel logistics and does the lead travel with you?
Starting point is 00:19:40 I honestly wish we traveled. I wish. I wish we travel with the lead. I'm like, more time. More time. But yeah, no, we don't. We travel separately, which actually. I don't know if I'm
Starting point is 00:19:53 traveled with us but he would get Clayton but he would be in first class and then we would be in economy and we would walk past him in the first time I was gonna say
Starting point is 00:20:06 that happened once on my season I was honestly I think I showed up late like me and my team we were so late like the plane was about to take off and like the guys were already sitting on the plane I was like this is just my worst possible nightmare
Starting point is 00:20:20 I'm like sprinting They're shouting your name. No, they're literally like all looking out there. No. And I'm like, I can't do this. I'm like, I literally need to sit down. And I'm the last aboard. Like, all the crews on the plane and they're just like, like, why are you late?
Starting point is 00:20:36 And I'm like, well, I know exactly why you were late. You and Des were in the lounge. That's where you were. But yeah. So I think that was the only time that I traveled with like all the guys at that point. But even then it wasn't a lot. It was like, I think only like 10 of them were left. Yeah, they do separate them.
Starting point is 00:20:54 Like, you cannot go up to the lead because you're traveling with production as well and they will make sure that you guys don't talk. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Try not to see each other. But okay, what else? We're kind of hopping. Okay, we'll do this one.
Starting point is 00:21:11 All right. This one is from Courtney. What is your personal opinion on if we will ever see Taylor's season? I don't know. Yes or no. I think we will in some form at some time see it. Yeah, I wish I could give more information, but I guess personal opinion.
Starting point is 00:21:35 I am with Rachel. I think at some point, I don't know when, but yeah, we're going to see something. It could be years from now. I'm like, whether it's a documentary, we're seeing something. Like something is, yeah, that's my personal opinion on it. But I don't know. Like I don't know how everything behind the scenes, that is a behind the scenes one that I don't have a lot of information about. Truly.
Starting point is 00:22:01 Yeah. Okay. This is from Alexandria. And she says, do you have a producer assigned to you? I always hear people say, my producer. How does it work? Ah. We'll see how in depth we can get, but I love this one.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Yeah. We do at the beginning have a producer that's, assigned to you and I think um that's just like for initial like you know they're just taking us through the process they're kind of like who we're assigned to at least for like up to night one and maybe so much after that but I do think like as you start to do like interviews and other things and go on dates like you just kind of gravitate towards people that you feel comfortable with and I think obviously at the end of the day that's what like they care about and they want you to be able to talk to people that make you feel safe, comfortable. And so for me, I was very fortunate
Starting point is 00:22:54 to have the same producer that I had for the very beginning. Love her. Up until all the way when I became Bachelorette. So that was amazing. But I did have people that I obviously loved talking or doing interviews with or that would help in certain situations when I would either be like breaking down, freaking out about something like they would be like helpful in those moments or if I wanted to, you know, run my mouth. little bit. I have somebody for that. Yes. You get so close to your producer, especially when numbers start to dwindle, when you get into the top five, four, you are spending a lot of time with just one producer,
Starting point is 00:23:35 because at that point, each person will have the producer they're most comfortable with. And you just get to walk around the city and have lunch. And it is so fun to get to know them as people outside of the show and then have someone you trust in the interview room with you just you're with them the whole time and my producer also came from Casside over to lead
Starting point is 00:23:58 which they usually don't do so we both had that happen and I am so lucky because I love him so much and we love dads shout out dad yes I'm like my my producer will be my flower girl
Starting point is 00:24:13 I'm like having a kid free wedding so. I will never forget being in the room when you found out you were going to be the Bachelorette. Oh, stop. I remember watching that. There was a fun long con happening there. You found out. And then all of a sudden the first person to come running into the room was your producer.
Starting point is 00:24:36 No, literally. You just fell into each other's arms. You called your parents. My mom was freaking out. And it was. I was dying. But watching Charity and Des, it was like, oh, no, this is no longer producer and castmate. This is like two best friends.
Starting point is 00:24:54 No, you and Des, I haven't seen like a Cassmate and producer be so close. But like, does, it's just the best person ever. She literally is like, I'm telling you, like my sister, like my unhinged mother. She's everything in one. Like, yeah, no, I honestly, yeah, would not have been. able to do any of that without her for sure. I think like for me like something that I was like really big on like obviously when I came into this was like I didn't know like it's obviously very different coming from um especially as like a contestant like I think that's where like the friendship
Starting point is 00:25:31 initially is built but at the end of the day I'm like they do have a job like they have a role to like maintain and I feel like my producer specifically she did a really good job of just maintaining like her job but also being very personable like she would like talk to us about things she'd be very open about things but she would also be like you know like I'm going to keep it real with you and I think like the honest piece of it is how that was able to be like I guess transcend beyond like okay like the professionalism side of it it's like I respect that and I think the level of respect was just built very early so then it just obviously carried on so I remember specifically when I got to like the Bachelorette side, I was like, I have just one boundary and like I
Starting point is 00:26:18 understand at the end of the day, like you guys have a show, like this is what you guys are going to have to do. But like, I just want you guys to be honest with me. If you see like, I'm either doing something that like doesn't make sense. And specifically in this moment, I was talking to Des about it. Just like, woman to woman, which is why I was like really glad to even have just her on my side as a woman. But I was like, if you see me doing something that you think like, oh, that might be charities acting out of like, you know, past. you know, trauma, like, call me out on it. Or, like, if you know something, like, whether or not you can tell me the, like,
Starting point is 00:26:51 intricacies of it, do not steer me down a path. Like, I, and I think I also, like, respectfully, Rachel, like, love you. But I was so, like, I was so traumatized from, like, what had happened with, like, you and Tino. And then, like, obviously leads before. I was like, what I'm not going to do is, like, I'm going to give you guys a show and I'm going to, like, surrender to, like, the process, this love journey. But, like, I can only do that if I don't have to, like, wait to. the end, like obviously like Hannah Brown. Like if I choose somebody and I come home, all bets are
Starting point is 00:27:19 off. Like I'm telling you, I'm set in this place ablaze. Like I cannot have that happen to me. So I was like, if these guys are who I have left, like just please, if there's anything that I need to know or if it's something, if you can't tell me, just be like, I don't know about this one. And like whether I listen to you is up to me. But like I just, I feel like I deserve that. And I think they both like honored that so much. Because they definitely did kind of tell me like, yeah, I know you like this person, but this is probably like this makes more sense for you. They do.
Starting point is 00:27:52 They do. They do. Yeah. Yeah. Like I like not in the similar way, but I remember it was early on and there was one point where I said like something about Logan. Like I wanted to go on one of one with Logan who ended up switching sides. And they were like, oh, you know, I think you should maybe like do so.
Starting point is 00:28:09 And so it's sad. And I remember at the time being like, why. But now I'm like, oh, they, they knew things that were happening behind the scenes. But like you said, they do have a job. They're making a show. I want to make a good show. I understand that this is their livelihood. They are taking so much time away from their families and their kids. And I think we just have such a high respect for what they do. And the fact that they're there for us in these times of really heightened emotion, you do bond with them. But, you also like you said kind of have to know the boundary and yeah it can be blurred a little sometimes but like you said setting those boundaries like I remember my producer he would be like okay well I need
Starting point is 00:28:50 a break from you today so you're going with your hand there like yeah have the boundaries yeah and I'm like it's also too I'm like you speaking about like getting upset I didn't know I get upset it was real like I only got upset obviously at the end but at that point I'm like you were literally like you were done you're just exhausted you're at your ins and I remember that was the only time that I ever was like, I'm like really upset or like irritated with you guys. I remember all she would say back, she's like, you're insane. And that's literally all she said to me.
Starting point is 00:29:20 And I was like, yeah, you're right. I am insane. Like that was like the one thing. I wish people could see this dynamic too because does. It's like this little tiny, petite little cute. And her back talking to you. Like I just think is the funniest thing. It's insane.
Starting point is 00:29:34 But I love, I love her. I love her. Yeah. Love her so much. You have the desire to help to make a real difference? The College of the City you offer the program

Starting point is 00:30:07 of Formation in Sautonu by Santee Canada Hey, it's us, the Jonas Brothers. And guess what? We have some big news. What's the news? Huge news. We created our own podcast called Hey Jonas. We invented a podcast?
Starting point is 00:30:22 Well, we didn't invent it. We just contributed to it. We're the first people to do podcasts. Pretty, yeah, pretty wide range of podcasts throughout there. But this one's extra special. So how do we actually come up with a name Hey Jonas, guys? I honestly don't remember. I think it was on a call about what we should call it. And we were thinking I'm originally calling it one of the early names of our band before Jonas Brothers.
Starting point is 00:30:47 This is how you guys remember it going down? Yes. I have a very different memory of this. We were talking about a thing, a bit for the podcast, where people could call in and say, hey, Jonas. And then I wrote down on my little notepad, Hey Jonas, and offered it up as a potential title for the podcast. But thanks for remembering that, guys. Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Just listen. We don't care where you hear it.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Another podcast from some SNL late night comedy guy. Not quite. Unhumor me with Robert Smygel and friends. Me and hilarious guests from Bob Odenkirk to David Letterman help make you funnier. This week, my guest, SNL's Mikey Day and head writer, Streeter Seidel, help an a cappella band with their between songs banter. Where does your group perform? We do some retirement homes. Those people are starving for banter. Listen to humor me with Robert Smigel and friends on the I-heartedly. Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Jared Adano.
Starting point is 00:31:43 You might know me as that loud guy who yells out, help on the internet. Help! But there's so much more to me than that. I'm an actor. I'm a comedian. And recently, I've become quite the helper myself. And on my new podcast, Hope from a Hypocrite, I'll be changing lives, helping people in need with my sage advice and thoughtful solutions.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Sike, I'm a comedian. I'm not qualified to give good advice. Join me and my comedian friends as we riff rant and recommend some of the most legally dubious advice known to man. If I'm calling you, even if you're on your phone, let it ring twice. One ring is too scary. Oh, cream of chicken suit. Hey, cream. Cream a chicken suit.
Starting point is 00:32:28 This is Help from a Hypocrite, the worst advice from the dumbest people you know. Listen to Help from Hypocrite as part of the Mike Coutura Podcast Network available on the I-Hart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This Mental Health Awareness Month, tune into the podcast deeply well with Debbie Brown and explore the journey of healing, self-discovery, and returning to yourself.

The world is becoming lonelier. We're not becoming more social and connected. We're becoming more individualized, but we actually meet people in connection. If you've been searching for a soft place to land while doing the work to become whole, this podcast is for you to hear more.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Listen to deeply well with Debbie Brown from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you can. get your podcast. Okay. Maybe we could transition to our game. I feel like that was a good one to end on. So this week we are playing a game where our producer gave us a list of celebrities and reality stars and we are going to tell you how we think that they would do in Bachelor
Starting point is 00:34:02 in Paradise. So we're going to talk about each person, who we'd match with them, who would get engaged, who would come out in a relationship, who'd be the villain. Okay. Let's start with. Let's start. I want to start with Brooks. Brooks Nader.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Okay. Because I do. Like, you know what? She is a well car. And I love, I love it. I think she would be perfect for Bachelor in Paradise. Like, honestly, I'm like, that would be her scene. If I had to choose Bachelor in Paradise or Bachelorette, she'll obviously make a great
Starting point is 00:34:35 bachelorette. But I think Paradise, some people just really thrive, you know. So she would do really good. I think she has potential for a villain. Like, and not in a bad way, but it's just like, she kind of gives like Victoria Fuller energy. Like, you know what I mean? It's just like some girls don't know how to like respond to that boldness or that confidence if you want to call it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:02 And Brooks is going to take your man by just having one conversation with him and then everyone's going to freak out. And she's not, yeah, it's just, you don't even really want to entertain that. And it's just another day for her. Like, let it be, yeah. She doesn't really like him that much. She's just, she doesn't, your man is, is doing what he's doing. Right. She definitely is, definitely first on sand, like, but she also could be someone who, to cut, like a bombshell.
Starting point is 00:35:29 I would say, she's going to be. Load the beach. Yeah. Like the first bombshell. Mm-hmm. When everyone's still fresh and, like, no one's solidified. I yeah yeah um who would I would I would pair her with um I think she first of all I think she would come out with um a relationship I don't know if she would get engaged but who knows she loves the showman's yeah yeah yeah she's willing to jump in which I feel like you need yeah yeah who would I pair with them from Bachelor nation if I didn't need a list of people I know I'm like so I'm like so I I need some, I need like at least like a board of guys so I can see.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Someone who I think would entertain her energy, maybe Greg. Wait, that's so good. Like you know what I mean? Greg is always, he loves an entertainment. Yes. Greg Ripo by that. If we're talking Victoria Buller energy, we know he can handle it. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:36:32 And I think that's, I think that's what he gravitates towards. That was such a good poll. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're going to be able to stop that. I'll say Greg. Yes. Yeah. Great.
Starting point is 00:36:42 And then I don't see them too getting engaged at all. And I'll just leave it at that. Okay. But they might get the matching tattoo. I can see her doing it. Oh, yeah. They both would. They would do that immediately after leaving.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Speaking of the matching tattoos, Pete Davidson. Oh, my God. I know. I know for sure. Maria. Nonsense and chaos. Why are you so good at this? I'm like, they match each other's energy, you know?
Starting point is 00:37:12 That is the, okay, I feel like your job means to be just matching everyone because someone please give me an. I am available part time, please. What about Kiki Palmer? Kiki Palmer, I feel like would be first stand. Yeah. The energy is unmatched. First sand is it.
Starting point is 00:37:30 Who would I peer her with? Lord have mercy. And Kiki Palmer would have like all the iconic lines. Like the ones that are getting posted. across the internet every single time it's going to be gosh okay I'm going to have to go back in the archives I think for this both of these people I believe are in a relationship or I think this one actually is married but either actually I have like three three people how are you pulling these so quickly because I'm like I'm just thinking I'm just thinking okay Mike Johnson I think he
Starting point is 00:38:04 is in a relationship or was in one recently so if he's single okay good what doesn't matter i'm just trying to be respectful um rodney because i just feel like they're like goofy like fun energy like you know yes and then perhaps obviously out of mad respect to my girl alec but her and andrew like they would be insane together like i would never stop laughing like you know what you mean like i'm just matching like that would be i feel andrew and K. Palmer. Right? You would have to charge, like, extra for this season
Starting point is 00:38:42 because I don't feel like I deserve to watch that for free. Like, their... Exactly. Humor would be on another level. I would not be able to... I just would not be able to handle it. It would be in another dimension. And I think they would get engaged.
Starting point is 00:38:58 I do... I think anybody that she would come down with would get engaged. No villain art possible. She's a real one. Yeah, that's my take. Who in here? Do you think would be a villain?
Starting point is 00:39:12 Out of everyone that's like here presented, obviously we talked about P. Jake Shane, not possible. Yeah, this is not possible at all. Tyreek Withers, him or Kyle Cook? Kyle, I don't really know, like potentially, but like I just also haven't, I don't know. I don't think I sense the energy enough for him.
Starting point is 00:39:34 He has potential to be one. I do believe, but I just don't even know would he even be good in paradise? Anyway, neither here nor there. Tom Brady, enough. I think Tyreek, out of all of those, I think, is the most obvious just because he has like very, I love his energy. Like, his energy is something that I naturally would be like, okay, I like, but there's a level of it depending on who the girl is or whoever is in the CAS, it could rub the wrong way.
Starting point is 00:40:01 And that's just what you have to like understand. It's like dynamics. So not that I don't love. love him great guy um but yeah he has potential i feel like he's a similar villain to like braden where it's like not a villain but like right kind of exactly exactly like that same energy exactly i feel like tyree he just probably is terrorizing riah for anyone that's on that oh probably as he should but no he's actually dating someone now oh um I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Another celebrity. Yeah, I think they just announced it like a week ago or less. I don't know. But very cute together. Chase Infinity. I love her name. Chase Infinity. I don't feel like I know her.
Starting point is 00:40:47 He's an actress and she like recently. Correct. No, she's literally so cute. They're like really cute together. Have you seen one battle after? Rachel, she would recognize her from her Met Gala dress. She may have been the best dressed person there. Oh, well, I mean, she's stunned.
Starting point is 00:41:06 It was the one, was it the one that was, yeah, I know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love it when hot people date. There's nothing. I love more. So happy. I'm like, you know what? I just love to look at the beauty.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Like Kendall Jenner, Jacob Allure. I'm like, I love it. Yes. Like, two stunning people. I'm like, yeah, I believe. I believe in this. However it ends. I feel like Kendall Jenner, she is on this list, would be a villain.
Starting point is 00:41:36 You think so. She gives me, like, not here to make friends. Oh, really? Interesting. Because I'm like, I feel like she just would stay out of people's way. I feel like Kendall would just be soft spoken. Like, I think, I don't know if I would give, like, okay, like, I don't want to, like, be friends. I think she would be friends with you, but I feel like she also wouldn't want to.
Starting point is 00:42:01 Yeah, like, it's one of those things. Like, she's not going to go out of her way. But I don't think she would do anything. anything that's like super. Do you know what? I also feel like she would do. She'd be like, you know those couples that meet day one and then you never see them again?
Starting point is 00:42:16 And then they get engaged. That would be handled. 1,000 percent. Literally her. You would never see them. She's like, I'm here and I came for a purpose and I'm out. That would be me too. Zero minutes of screen time.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Right. Have you guys met? I know she's a big bachelor fan. I unfortunately have not. No, but I did see her post on her story one time, and like Gabby's date with Johnny was on in the background. Bye. No, that's actually crazy. I know.
Starting point is 00:42:48 I was like, she's watching and I want to know nothing about what she thinks about me because I know it's not good. Please pretend you never saw me. She's probably like, oh, I relate. No, no one relates to the way I was in my season. I don't know who. I'm screaming. That was, but I've done a lot of therapy on her. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:43:08 That's funny. Okay. Let's do like two more. Okay. Nikki Glazer, I love her. She is hilarious. I love her. Comedic relief.
Starting point is 00:43:18 Yeah. I feel, though, like she would just, like, self-eliminate. You think? Yeah. I think she would stay, I think she would stay just for, like, the shits and giggles of it all. But, like, I don't know. I think she would also, but I don't know if she would self-eliminate. I think she would play, like, I think she would stay.
Starting point is 00:43:34 like I think she would play the course until like maybe like it's ran its score you know what I mean like then she would so I guess that makes sense to your point but I feel like she is like um what's the word like just a good time like people want to be around her so in that regard like she would probably do really well you know how each season of paradise there's like a narrator who's like hilarious but it's like their screen time is just their ITM it would be yes one thousand 1,000% The whole season. Who would I set her up with from Bachelor Nation?
Starting point is 00:44:10 Someone who's funny. Yeah. I was going to say Justin Glaze. That would be a funny couple. That would be a good match. That'd be a funny couple. Katie's Final Four, like, lives rent-free in my head. The way we just paired all them up.
Starting point is 00:44:28 No, the way I just asked Rajasda, do we have short kings and Bachelor? Yeah. They're in my season. I dated them. I love it. Yeah, but I'm like, Nikki Glazer needs like, who? Oh, Jordan V.
Starting point is 00:44:42 No, I know. He's an angel. I know. Who else? I don't know. I think Justin's my pick. I don't have another runner up. Okay.
Starting point is 00:44:52 That was so fun. That was fun. I liked playing matchmaker. I should start doing this for people in the real world. Especially for me. Yeah. No. I mean, I've tried.
Starting point is 00:45:03 So it's just you need to take my advice, clearly. I will. I will. I mean, after those polls, you have the vision. I do. So come to New York. Yeah. What are you waiting on?
