This is an I-Heart podcast.
Guaranteed Human.
A decade ago, I was on the trail of one of the country's most elusive serial killers,
but it wasn't until 2023 when he was finally caught.
The answers were there, hidden in plain sight.
So why did it take so long to catch him?
I'm Josh Zeman, and this is Monster,
hunting the Long Island serial killer,
the investigation into the most notorious killer in New York,
since the son of Sam, available now.
Listen for free on the IHeart Radio,
app, Apple Podcasts, wherever you get your podcasts.
This is Dr. Jesse Mills, host of the Mailroom podcast.
Each January, men promise to get stronger, work harder, and fix what's broken.
But what if the real work isn't physical at all?
I sat down with psychologist Dr. Steve Poulter to unpack shame, anxiety, and the emotional
pain men were never taught how to name.
Part of the way through the Valley of Despair is realizing this has happened, and you
have to make a choice whether you're going to stay in it or move forward.
Our two-part conversation is available now.
Listen to the mailroom on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
for wherever you get your favorite shows.
Hi, I'm Dr. Priyanko Wally.
And I'm Hurricane Dabolu.
It's a new year.
And on the podcast, Health Stuff, we're resetting the way we talk about our health.
Which means being honest about what we know, what we don't know, and how messy it can all be.
I like to sleep in late and sleep early.
Is there a chronotype for that, or am I just depressed?
Health stuff is about learning, laughing, and feeling a little less alone.
Listen on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A new year doesn't ask us to become someone new.
It invites us back home to ourselves.
I'm Mike Delarocha, a host of sacred lessons, a space for men to pause, reflect, and heal.
This year, we're talking honestly about mental health, relationships, and the patterns we're ready to release.
If you're looking for clarity, connect.
and healthier ways to show up in your life.
Sacred Lessons is here for you.
Listen to Sacred Lessons with Mike Delaroach on the IHart Radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
If you only listen to one thing to make sense of the news this year,
make it this.
The final episode of this season of Next Question
pulls together the most important conversations of the year.
You'll hear David Graham on Project 2025.
Liz Oyer on the plethora of Presidential Party.
Tina Brown on the year's biggest scandals here at home and across the pond, plus much, much more.
It's a crash course in the last 12 months, how we made it through the year, and a look at what might be coming in 2026.
Listen to next question with me, Katie Couric on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hey, everyone, welcome back to Bet Your Happy Hour. I'm Joe.
And I'm Serena.
And we are here with you guys one last time.
How'd that sound?
Sounded great.
Did we get the sound bite out of that?
I think so.
Sounded crazy to hear you say that.
I know.
For all our listeners, we're kicking off 2026 saying,
see you guys later.
We're leaving.
See you soon.
Sianara.
See it.
It's been a while, but we've decided to stop doing Happy Hour as the host.
And we're going to intro the new host pretty soon, pretty soon.
Yeah, hold your horses.
not done with us quite yet.
Yeah.
We got a few more minutes of this episode to milk.
But it's been a crazy two and a half years on Bachelor Happy Hour.
Joe and I are obviously married.
We've been working together.
And it's been a great ride.
We were married when we started this podcast, obviously.
Were we married?
No.
No, man.
Yes.
I can't keep track.
But when I started the Bachelor Nation podcast, which the first one was clickbait,
we didn't know each other.
We did.
That was 2020.
Yeah.
And I was in quarantine to go on The Bachelor.
That's how long ago it was.
Quarantine was still like an active part of our lives.
Okay.
Correction, we weren't married when we started this podcast.
But we are married.
Our producer just jumped in and was like, no, guys, you weren't married yet.
Solely engaged.
So since being on this podcast, we got married.
We had a wedding.
Two.
Two weddings, basically.
Yeah.
And so many other amazing memories together.
Yeah, yeah.
What, man, yeah, we're not going to be doing Taylor Frankie Paul season.
What was your favorite season?
My favorite season to recap, to recap?
That we covered.
Do you have one?
I mean, this past season of Paradise was fun just because it's nostalgic, and they did try so many new things with it, that it was fun to kind of break down and give our opinions on what was working, what wasn't working, who we were rooting for, what we liked, all the things.
What about you?
Oh, my least favorite was probably charities.
I didn't enjoy.
I did not enjoy that season.
No, no, I'm joking.
I actually, I have probably charities.
I did enjoy her season.
Well, I think that that's a great way to tee up what's next, which is, you know, as much
as this is sad, we're saying goodbye to you guys.
This feels so right for Joe and I to part ways with this chapter of our lives.
And we're excited for whatever comes next.
But we know what comes next on this podcast.
And that is two new hosts that we are going to announce today.
and we are beyond excited to be passing the torches off to them.
Yes.
So everyone, please welcome your new hosts of Bachelor Happy Hour, Charity and Rachel.
Hello.
I'm like everybody welcome, but, you know, there's only us on this podcast.
It's weird.
Hi, guys.
So excited. Hi.
Thank you guys.
How are you?
We are splendid, spectacular, truly.
Okay, so we have not chatted with you guys prior to like basically the
moment. So walk us through. We've known for a bit that we were parting ways, but tell us about when
you guys found out you were going to be hosting the podcast when they approached you. What did you
think? I mean, I'll start off. I just remember like being approached and asking to do a little
mock interview with Rachel. And I was like, oh, I'm so ready for this. Because I was like,
Rachel's my girl. We obviously have like a friendship outside of the show. But like to be,
be doing podcasting and hosting together incredible so I was definitely excited I obviously did not know
how I was going to go but because like I said we already had this built-in like friendship and just like
already like off-the-rip banter I was like I'm fine we're going to be great no I'm so excited and
I was actually shocked because for a little bit I thought I was like blacklisted by The Bachelor because
I did another show I'm like oh my God they're never going to ask me to do anything again and when I got
the call. It was so excited and even more excited that it's with charity, but a little scared.
You guys felt like. What are you worried about? I know.
I have seen charity talk. I mean, if I were you guys, I would be really excited for the upcoming
season because that's going to be, you're going to have like, I feel like you're going to have
so much to talk about with that season. No so much. Without a doubt, that's, I think that's what I'm
excited for. I'm like we're coming in really at like the perfect timing because there's going to be
so much. Yeah. Taylor's going to make it easy. Exactly. Well, and I don't know if you guys know this,
you might, but prior to Joe and I being on Happy Hour, it was always two bacheloretts that
hosted this podcast. So I feel like with you guys were like really going back to the roots of that
and you'll have so much personal experience to share when covering her season.
For sure.
We do.
It's funny.
Wait, I had to say something.
Joe, my very first podcast I ever did was on clickbait.
I wasn't there.
Were you not there?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure.
The only person I remember being there was Natasha because she was like calling me out left and right.
And I was like so terrified.
So it's crazy.
You only interviewed with Natasha?
That's the only person I remember talking to me because she just had so many points that she wanted to
say I was like oh my god I remember yeah I remember you because I remember you were getting a lot of
screen time on your season you were one of the more like you were one of the bigger gets one of the
bigger interviews and I remember just I wasn't there where are you sick no I think I was gone
gone where I don't know I think I was like doing something like I had to take I had to take the
podcast off for like a couple weeks and I think Rachel ended up being there like a week I
wasn't that. I swear you were there. Maybe it's because I listened to clickbait so much that season.
I just like assumed you were there. Yeah.

Which means being honest about what we know, what we don't know, and how messy it can

I like to sleep in late and sleep early.
Is there a chronotype for that, or am I just depressed?
We talk to experts who share real experiences and insight.
You just really need to find where it is that you can have an impact in your own life and just start doing that.
We break down the topics you want to know more about.
Sleep, stress, mental health and how the world around us affects our overall health.
We talk about all the ways to keep your body in mind, inside and out, healthy.
We human beings, all we want is connection.
We just want to connect with each other.
Health stuff is about learning, laughing, and feeling a little less alone.
Listen on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
A new year doesn't mean erasing who you were.
It means honoring what you've survived and choosing how you want to grow.
It means giving ourselves permission to feel what we've been holding and knowing that it's okay to ask for help.
I'm Mike Dolorotcha, host of Sacred Lessons.
This podcast is a space for men to talk.

Here, we slow down.
We listen.
We learn how vulnerability becomes strength and how healing happens in community, not in isolation.

compassion, and purpose, sacred lessons is your companion on your healing journey.

Get stronger, work harder, fix, what's broken?
But what if the real work isn't physical at all?
To kick off the new year, I sat down with Dr. Steve Polter, a psychologist,
with over 30 years experience, helping men unpack shame, anxiety, and emotional pain they were never taught to name.
In a powerful two-part conversation, we discuss why men aren't emotionally bulletproof,
why shame hides in plain sight, and how real strength comes from listening to yourself and to others.
Guys who are toxic, they're immature, or they've got something they just haven't resolved.
Once that gets resolved, then there comes empathy and compassion.
If you want this to be the year, you stop powering through pain.
and start understanding what's underneath,
listen to the mailroom on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your favorite shows.
As we head into 2026, it's safe to say that 2025 was a year like no other.
So much news, so much disruption, and yes, so much division.
That's why we're wrapping up this season of next question
with a look back at everything that's happened.
Things are coming at us with such a velocity.
we thought it was important to take a moment, connect the dots, and explore what it all means.
We're summing up the first year of Trump's second term with David Graham on Project 2025
and how many of the goals have been implemented.
Richard Haas on foreign policy and the changing world order.
Jessica Valenti on reproductive rights and the terrifying consequences of abortion bans.
Tina Brown on the year's scandals here and across the pond.
the president has upended everything from pardons to the press so we're covering it all listen to next question with me katie currick on the iheart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts
you guys are such a good pairing you were in a lot of ways like for us when we were thinking about who would replace us i said you two
you were our obvious choice and i didn't even know you guys were friends you were exactly who we thought they would go with like when we were
speculating it was like I we were both just like it's going to be Rachel and Charity like I
oh I love that you were like top of mind right away and Charity you've been on this podcast a lot
you're always such like a fun guest you've also co-hosted with Joe so like it's so amazing
that one episode that was actually that was insane that was like I don't even know how we aired that
no no it was no it was no it was no it was just and there was a lot I think like spencer
or someone else was on.
I think we had like three people on.
I hated that.
I hated that.
I hate that.
I just kept like chiming in with like jokes that weren't like didn't land.
They were inappropriate.
They were inappropriate.
I was like we can't talk about this.
I'd be like all right.
Didn't Jeremy have some like funky background too?
Yeah.
He like came out with like a shirt off or something.
It was like he was like teeing up paradise.
He had like a little paradigm like palm tree setting.
I was like okay.
Like we get it.
You want to go to the beach.
No way.
Well, he would come on with no shirt and a Paradise background to tell us like he didn't want to go to Paradise.
Exactly. He's like, no, no, I'm not going. I'm just, you know, I'm just seeing what happens. I'm like, okay.
Classic last words. I said the same thing too.
We're glad he went and we're glad that you went Rachel. Rachel, I don't know. No, I can't talk about that.
You are always one of our most chaotic interviews. Like when you come on trying to rein you in to say things that we can air is so hard.
out here being like my season was a failure okay everyone um it was we could go into that but like
hopefully i could do this a little bit better and hopefully i can bring it in a little bit that's why you
guys are a perfect stay that stay that way because keep it authentic keep it yourselves those attributes
are great for a podcast they stay unhinged it's it's good for everyone perfect you know that was a game
plan. Before we part ways, is there anything you guys want to ask us? Any questions you have?
Oh, I feel like I have a list. Like, hello. Where should we start? Charity? I got a list.
One question each. Not one. No, I have like, I have like four. But like, I do want to ask because
obviously like this episode is about like as much as it is about you guys introducing us. It's about you
guys too. And like I'm so curious because you guys have done this for so long. How do you guys feel like
podcasting together has like I guess changed if it's changed for the better y'all's dynamic as like in
relationship like I'm very curious I feel like so when joe and I got off the show we were pretty
intentional about keeping our businesses separate as much as possible um like we had a conversation
about it I was like I don't want to be up in your stuff I want you out of my stuff so it was kind
of the first time we really like merged in a big way yeah I feel like it kind of honed our skill
on how to work together.
Like, I don't think it changed our relationship,
but I would say it changed that facet of our relationship
in like how we communicate
and how we take like criticism from each other
in a business capacity.
Because we do have very different styles.
I think like people may be surprised,
like I'm a little bit more intense than Joe is
when it comes to business stuff.
Oh, I'm not surprised at all, at all.
But we, I think we just, I think it's just,
we kind of just gel well.
And it's just, it's pretty easy.
And also, like, we both, for the most part, when it comes to work, we have thick skin.
Like, like, we can get done with a podcast and I will critique like something Serena did.
Yeah, or like, you weren't X, Y, Z today.
Yeah.
Or like, or vice versa.
Yeah.
I think with a lot of couples, like, if you start doing that shit, like, that could be an issue
for people.
Right.
And we're pretty good about keeping, like, podcast bucket, podcast bucket.
Yeah.
And then like personal.
I do think like you can be married and in a happy, healthy relationship and not be able to work with your partner.
I think that's like totally possible.
We're just.
For sure.
We also can work with.
But we're not going to like, we're not going to get into like, you know, a fight about, you know, whatever.
Something that we fight about.
And I'm not going to be like, well, you know, two weeks ago, you suck on that podcast.
Like we keep, we keep it separate.
Yeah.
No, I think that's really like, honestly really beautiful because I do feel like that's rare.
Like not everyone can do that, but I'm like, you guys obviously have managed and done it so beautifully.
Oh, thank you.
Thank you.
I can't look you guys are leaving.
Like, it's crazy whenever I think about Happy Hour, I just like picture you guys.
I know.
What's next though, actually?
You guys going to have your own podcast because I need it.
Right now we're just like starting off 2026 parting ways with this.
You know what I mean?
Like it just felt like more than like anything.
It just felt like the right time for us.
to close the door on this chapter.
I just couldn't, you know what?
I couldn't do one more.
So how did you get on the show?
You know, I've probably,
I've probably done like 85 of those,
maybe more, maybe 100.
So tell us, how'd you get on The Bachelor?
How'd you get out of the Bachelor?
And then the answer,
the answer is always this.
Well, I didn't, like, I never even heard of the show.
That's a lie, a lot.
It's classic.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So it was really less about what,
next and more just about like it was the right time for us to like close the door on this
season of life and this opportunity which we were so grateful for but yeah we were just ready
to part ways with it you're the snake is ending so like we're leaving we're leaving this and you're
the snake and what is it what is it you're the firehorse it's coming up come on now i'm excited about that
oh my gosh okay i do have another i have like two more but just bear with me okay so obviously
I think y'all's first season was my season, was it not?
You know what's crazy?
So the first episode of Happy Hour we ever did prior to doing your season charity,
which was our first season of recapping,
we filmed at like 6.30 in the morning because Joe was flying back from something
and we were supposed to record it like that night.
Do you remember this?
Yeah, I didn't even sleep.
You got stuck somewhere all the way overnight.
He got in a cab with like three random guys,
drove like four hours back to New York and then jumped on and recorded it.
I was on a flight home from Vegas and oh my god not Vegas my bachelor my bachelor party on top of it and the weather was really bad.
I'm so sorry what?
Yeah, the weather was really bad so we couldn't land so then they rerouted us to Baltimore and we didn't get they didn't give us our bags to like 12.30 at night and then me and like four random guys they're like you guys want to just take an Uber back.
I was like something like a girl could just.
just never do.
I'm like, I'm so sorry.
I would have never, you would have never seen me record that day.
Like that's,
you would have caught me on a bus.
Correct.
Correct.
So to re-correct our producer, to re-correct her, we actually were married when we started
this podcast.
Yes, we were married officially at the courthouse, but it wasn't.
We were legally married.
We didn't have our wedding.
We didn't have our, our South Carolina wedding.
And our first season was charity, so we got all the facts in line now.
Yeah.

Listen to next question with me, Katie Couric on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Wait, okay, I actually love that because this is like incredibly full circle moment.
Like, you guys are patching the torch off to me.
I know.
That actually is very poetic.
Yeah.
But, okay, my season wasn't really controversial.
I don't think, I'm trying to think who really was.
I don't maybe, like, not even.
Like, I feel like it's kind of been very mellow the past few seasons.
but I do have a feeling that Taylor's season is going to give us a lot of great things.
So my question is, as host, whenever you guys are interviewing maybe contestants,
whoever leads, how do you guys like handle maybe something that might be incredibly polarizing
or if it's controversial and you guys decide you guys want to talk about it?
How do you guys navigate conversations like that?
I think for us it's kind of
We're just here to ask questions
Remembering it's not a yeah it's not a conversation in a way
Like it's just we're just here to ask questions
To allow people to share whatever parts of their story they want
And then pulling on the threads that they give us
Because usually people want to come on
They want to clear the air
They want to talk about the controversial moments
Because they want to share their side and their perspective
So people are usually willing
and it's just...
Yeah, the thing is, here's the thing.
If they want to share, they will, and if they don't,
it's not really, you know, it's not our job to pull it out of them.
Correct.
If you're uncomfortable, you're uncomfortable, so you're just not going to share.
But usually, usually people say yes to a podcast because they want to talk.
And they want to talk about what happened.
Yeah, and if they don't want to talk, good luck, because that's hard.
And that happens.
You've had people not want to talk at all.
Well, you get people that are, and I have a lot of sympathy for,
this because I used to be like this, but you do get people that are nervous.
Oh.
Or more short with their answers.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like the, so how'd it go?
Good.
You get, and I used to do that.
And you're like, good.
That could be tough.
Plus, plus, plus.
But see, I also think, and not that you guys did a bad job.
I could feel like, if anything, Serena, you're really good at this.
Like, it's the type of questions you also ask.
Like, not close into questions.
Totally.
open-ended, yeah.
Yes.
And sometimes if we ask a question and you get a good, sometimes it's on you to be like,
okay, how can I think of a more dynamic question?
How can I think of something that they have to expand on?
Or just like a follow-up.
Like, good.
Okay, why?
Why was it?
Why was it?
Tell us more.
Tell me more.
Tell me everything.
Who is your favorite interview that you guys have done?
That's so hard.
We're actually talking about this today.
And don't say me in charity because I'm,
Obviously, do not.
I wasn't.
No, joking.
I honestly, I don't know.
Like, it's too hard.
When you really think about it, it's just like, there's just been so many.
Yeah, the happy couples are always fun.
Charity, you were our first happy couple and you were our first in-person interview ever.
We remember we recorded.
Wait, I do.
Was that like my, yeah, after my finale?
No, it was the day before.
You came in.
Wait, really?
Yeah, remember we set up like a studio at our producer's house.
Oh my gosh, it was the day before.
Please, enough.
Yes.
And that was, my memory is failing.
The happy couples are fun because you really get to see and know the couple in a way, even just like chatting before and after especially.
Like you feel like you're getting an inside look into a relationship that you've only seen like parts of on TV.
And you kind of leave being like, oh, I feel like I know this couple.
I want to go back.
I wish.
I want to go back to happy couples.
I don't.
Any chance you get to record in person, that's the best, in my opinion.
That's the best because you could actually get like a feel, like you could get a better feel for someone.
Even like just going back to like meet saying people get nervous.
Yeah.
People ease more into it when you're like sitting next to each other.
Yeah, it's just more intimate.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But we've been so happy to come on and chat with you guys.
And honestly, the best part about leaving is just like passing this off to you guys and being
excited for you guys to take over and be the new host.
Like we know without a doubt you're going to kill it.
The listeners are going to be so excited listening to this and hearing this announcement
that you guys are taking over.
So, yeah, we just want to wish you guys the best.
And if you ever need us, you have our numbers.
Oh, for sure.
You will get a ring ring for me.
I was going to say you will be helping me out.
Absolutely.
Thank you guys so much.
Oh, no.
So sad, but exciting.
It's bad.
Bitter sweet.
Bitter sweet.
No, we're so happy for you guys.
And to all our listeners over the past years and people that crossed over from Clickbait,
love you guys.
Thank you so much.
This podcast wouldn't even be around if it wasn't for you.
So thank you.
Yes.
Thank you guys so much for listening.
This is Joe and Serena signing off for the last time.
And we're wishing you guys all the best.
Peace.
Bye.
Oh, my God.
Okay. Why am I so emotional right now? Rachel, give us a tear.
No, and if anything, I can give a tear. This is just so sad. I feel like I don't know
Happy Hour without Joe and Serena. I know. We'll have to have them back on for sure because
they have so much great things in store for this year. So I would love to catch back up with
them. But it's officially ours now. Let's do this.
I know. It's crazy. Going into Taylor season two, there is just going to be so much drama. It's going to be
so polarizing. We are so excited to be your new hosts. Make sure you subscribe. We're going to have
new episodes dropping each week, including our very first episode together, which will be
coming out this Thursday. We're so excited and that's it. So we will see you guys next time.
And the time after that. And the one after that. And the week after that and forever. And good luck
getting rid of us. Because we're not going anywhere. All right. Bye.
I was on the trail of one of the country's most elusive serial killers,
but it wasn't until 2023 when he was finally caught.
The answers were there, hidden in plain sight.
So why did it take so long to catch him?
I'm Josh Zeman, and this is Monster,
hunting the Long Island serial killer,
the investigation into the most notorious killer in New York,
since the son of Sam, available now.

Each January, men promise to get stronger, work harder, and fix what's broken?
But what if the real work isn't physical at all?
I sat down with psychologist, Dr. Steve Poulter, to unpack shame, anxiety, and the emotional pain men were never taught how to name.
Part of the way through the Valley of Despair is realizing this has happened, and you have to make a choice whether you're going to stay in it or move forward.

Hi, I'm Dr. Priyankawali.
And I'm Hurricane Dibolu.
It's a new year.
And on the podcast, Health Stuff, we're resetting the way we talk about our health.
Which means being honest about what we know, what we don't know, and how messy it can all be.
I like to sleep in late and sleep early.
Is there a chronotype for that or am I just depressed?
Health stuff is about learning, laughing, and feeling a little less alone.

ourselves. I'm Mike Delarocha, a host of Sacred Lessons, a space for men to pause, reflect, and

If you only listen to one thing to make sense of the news this year, make it this.
The final episode of this season of Next Question pulls together the most important
conversations of the year.
You'll hear David Graham on Project 2025.
Liz Oyer on the plethora of presidential pardons.
Tina Brown on the year's biggest scandals here at home and across the pond, plus much, much more.
It's a crash course in the last 12 months, how we made it through the year and a look at what might be coming in 2026.
