I'm Rachel, and we are joined with Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise Alumni. Jonathan, welcome back to Bachelor of Hapelor. I'm excited to have you here. Okay. This is our second interview together.

Yep. And the last time we were here, we talked about so much, but there's been so many life updates since. Yeah, decent amount. Decent amount. Can you share any of those? Depends on what you have written down over that. What do you want to know about? I want to know a lot, and I think our viewers do too. And let's start with your new relationship with reality star Morgan Willett. Yes. Let's talk about her. And let's start with how you guys met. How we met? Yes. honestly it's kind of like a long drawn-out process but our manager um was originally trying to set

me up with her i had no clue about any of it did you guys share a manager yeah okay we did we're currently transitioning to new management but we still love her but like okay originally she had been like hey there's this guy like i think you'd be really interested blah blah blah um and then i'm pretty sure my manager's like he's not that tall though And I was like, I was like, what the fuck? Like, you're not selling me very hard. So she kind of like wrote it off. Your tagline is medium king.

Exactly. Exactly. But not short. She said short. I 11. Okay. I know. So when was this?

Was this before paradise? This was like, I don't know, probably like March of last year or something. Okay. Like pretty early on. And then she kind of wrote it off. And then we were at her, our manager's daughter's first birthday party. And I didn't see. Morgan, but she had seen me apparently. She's like, oh, that guy's cute. And he's not short at all.

Like, maybe I should see if he's still single, whatever. She didn't follow up on it. And then things just kind of blew by. My manager finally had mentioned her to me. And then I kind of let it blow by because Paradise hasn't, hadn't came out yet. I was just like, I'm not going to mess around with anything. I don't want to like ruin, you know, the idea of like, hey, does he end up with somebody? Like, I just want to keep clean until it's all done. And then sometime, I think I put it like an ad or something for Christmas and she had seen it and I was like I was making art on a sweater and she's like man like I wonder if this guy's still single so she followed me immediately followed her back which was weird because I was like okay like usually I'll like DM somebody if I'm like interested and they follow me first um I didn't so she DM me and then so you guys weren't following each other no but you're mutually interested in each other yeah and now she's swiping up on an add. Yes.

Yeah, I know. Am I following? Yeah, no, it's a weird drawn out story that like isn't that exciting. And then yeah, she messaged me something about running because I was shirtless and like a, she said like a thirsty running video and I was like, yeah, probably. And then I responded back. We sent like three messages immediately asked her to dinner and then kind of off to the races from there.

I love that. How long were you guys seeing each other before you made things official? Like a month or two? Wow. So you knew right away. Yeah. Cute. Pretty, pretty quick. I was like, stopped talking to everybody else. I was like, I'm just going to lock in on her and take this very serious and be as intentional as possible. So you knew a month in. What was it about Morgan that made you stop talking to everyone else? I mean, so at this point, I was like very intentionally dating. You know what I mean? I was like, the shows were like, they were fun, did them, tried. And then afterwards, I was just like, I want to find somebody. So I was like, I was like, I want to find somebody. So I was. actively pursuing people dating around.

And then by the time, her and I started talking, I mean, I think everybody, like, knows this. Like, when the banter is just, like, very obviously good, you know what I mean, and chill. And you meet somebody like you don't have to, like, act around or play game, like, not play, I don't play games, but, like, if you send three texts, like, they're sending that same kind of energy back. You don't have to be like, oh, fuck, was that too much? Or, like, am I doing, like, the most right here? And they just return it effortlessly and they don't make you feel weird or like you're too excited too soon or they're too excited too soon.

It was just like a natural flow of energy that just didn't feel, I don't know, like anybody was playing hard to get or anything outside of that. It was just like a beautiful, fun, loving flow. It was really, really cool. I think the audience and everyone knows you're obviously a very eligible bachelor. And I have a lot of women on and we all talk about dating and what is it about a certain person that makes. a guy want to settle down. So what was it about her personality specifically that made you decide that she was the one? Yeah. I think it varies from guy to guy, obviously.

And I think, again, it's a common theme I see on the internet is like timing. You know what I mean? Like guys when they're ready fall into love, I think, in a period of time in which like it makes sense for them. With that being said, I don't know. I think it's just like a comfortability thing. I think once a woman like reassures you and makes you feel comfortable and confident in them and like that you don't need to have curious eyes or curious thoughts about anything or anyone else where it's just like you're reassured on who you are and what you're doing with your life

and they believe in you and they just make you feel safe and heard and seen like I think that kind of does it for me. What else is it that you really love about her? I'm sure she would want to hear. What are the specific things? What do I love about her? I mean, I love her confident energy. I love her playful, exes for life.

She loves to travel. She's a very, and I've said this since day one. If you go back into my other interviews, like I just love a strong, confident woman that's an individual, and she embodies that. Like, she is her own woman. She does her own things, has her own life, and lives it to the fullest.

But when we're together, and not to be, like, talking about, like, getting into your masculine, you're feminine, but she lets down that like boss bitch energy when it's her and I. You know what I mean? Like we both get a step into that role of like, hey, she gets to just be like, I don't know, feminine and like her like girly self that she wants to be. And I get to provide and be the kind of guy that you want to be for your woman too. And it's a really fun balance. But I don't know. I don't know. I just, I can't fully explain it. like an unspoken thing like I just I would say I love everything about somebody is really tough because

you can't just say that and people are like well what's everything and I'm like I don't know how to be more specific than like just I was texting her yesterday about it and I just had like a random like loving thought and I was like you just make me feel very safe and loved like I've never felt before and yeah I don't even think it needs much more explain that like I love the little things I love that she, again, like I said, loves to travel, loves to be her own individual and all those things, but like it's more of in the selfish way of like, how does that person make you feel? You know, and the way that she makes me feel is unmatched to anybody else that I've ever met. Sounds like you guys have a very beautiful dynamic.

Yeah. You have so much in common along the lines also that she is also a reality TV star. She's been seen on the challenge, X on the Beach, and Big Brother. What is that like both sharing a reality TV past? I mean, honestly, good. Like, it's, it's cool, too. And I'm sure you've experienced this outside of this world as, like, it makes it a lot easier when somebody gets your lifestyle.

You know what I mean? And, like, you know that they're not there for the... This is a thing people don't talk about. You know, like, everybody's like, oh, he's here for the wrong reasons or she's here for the wrong reasons on the show. Everybody's there on the show because it's a show. Like, you know that that's not the ideal place to find a person. You know what I mean?

Like, you hope. and like you shoot your shot at it but like once you're off that's where like that theme actually comes in the play it's like who's actually here for the right reasons are they into me because i was on this show and i have a following and x y and z they want to be part of the lifestyle that's the harder part to differentiate is post show dating you know what i mean so like when you find somebody and you just hope and pray that they understand or maybe they come from that same realm um it's great so like when it comes to being free on like a random Tuesday or Wednesday like i don't have to explain that. She's like, oh, like, okay, I can finish my stuff over the weekend in Monday.

Do you think that you were dating people who were there for the wrong reasons then before you met her? That I was dating for the wrong. No. No, I think I have a pretty good filter. I think everybody that I dated was there for the right reasons. You know what I mean? It's like an energetic thing. You can kind of feel it out. So Morgan has also dated some men from reality TV. Do you know any of these people? Like personally? Yeah. No. Do you know of them? I know of them. I know about them. I know the good, the bad, and all of it, of course. So I'm interested in dynamic. You both have dated on reality TV and you both dated reality TV stars. What is the contrast like dating someone who has been on a reality dating show and someone who hasn't?

Someone who hasn't. The contrast. I mean, I think it kind of falls back into the like the hesitation of like is somebody here for the right or the wrong reasons. you know like a lot of it too for me has been like a like a safety thing you know what i mean like i think a lot of people have perspective on how a relationship could go and i don't think i'm a disrespectful person but it takes somebody going online to just try and tear you a new one for whatever reason that they see fit um and it's a scary reality because our livelihood is social media and we are in the spotlight and you have to worry about those things you know i think when somebody else is in that spotlight and they have something to lose too. Like that's their livelihood as well.

Like there's a safety in knowing like, hey, it's gonna be as public as we want it to be. You know what I mean? Versus somebody trying to air out your dirty laundry for attention or whatever that reason might be. I think outside of like that safety feeling though, it's just like a, it's just another like common interest like that you've been through with somebody.

Like you can say, hey, I've been through this. I get what. what happens. I know how it goes and what dating's like and you get to feel that out with somebody else. Versus not, you know, I've, I've had people like that I've dated that weren't on reality TV either ignore it like it wasn't a part of my life or ask too many questions. You know what I mean? To where it's like, okay, are you only worried about that versus like, well, now ignoring it's even weirder. Like, I'm still proud of it. It's still a huge part of my life. I don't want to act like it doesn't exist. So somebody that's been in it understands that balance a little bit better.

I don't know if you've had experience with that too. Because I wanted to go back to the safety question because I feel like when you date someone in the public eye that's also in the public eye, there's more of a chance of things getting aired out. I've experienced it. Yes. I think that's more of a chance that she could go or you could go on a podcast and talk about something or say dirty laundry. But you feel it's opposite. Yeah. Okay.

Well, I think that goes back to trust. I wanted to know when did you guys decide to put this relationship out publicly? Because it takes a lot. You know, there's a lot of people with a lot of things to say. Oh, yeah. When did you guys make that decision that we're going to share this with the world? I mean, so if it were up to her, it would have been a lot faster than when I wanted to. But then that's where I said that like the hesitation a little bit came into play is like, hey, like, again, this is our livelihood.

This is our job. And I'm like, she is a little bit more removed. from reality TV, but in the bachelor world, that's all people care about is, like, who I end up dating. You know what I mean? Like, it's a dating show. Like, all they want to know is who I date. And I'm like, when I say who I'm dating, not that, because we had already like put little sprinkles out there of like that we were talking. We're in this, yeah, the soft launches. We're like traveling together in the same places. People are like connected. Yeah. But I was like, once we do this, everything changes because it's just like, I, I, I, I don't. I, I, I, I, I, I,

don't think that she understood as much the bachelor world of people just being like die hard I need to know who they end up with I will watch their relationship for the rest of their lives like they're like diehard fans of the bachelor that followed like oh geez for their entire lives and they'll calm out on everything and they're part of it and they want to like know how their lives are going I don't think that that had made sense to her I think because her dating shows were like MTV ones and then she was on the challenge that was like uh it's like a competition show and then Big Brother also a competition show. The dating realm, especially with like the Bachelor Nation, is so much more like,

I need to know who he ends up with. I'm very curious because I know for me, it's, it is hard to introduce someone into this space. We obviously love Bachelor Nation, but like you said, they are so invested. So what was that like for her experiencing Bachelor Nation for the first time? Honestly, because she's such a girl's girl, like through and through, which is, Great. I mean, the, I always say, like, dating a girl's girl is the flex that you think it is. Because if a girl's girl who hates men loves you, you're probably doing something right.

But I think the response to dating her has been nothing but great. I think a lot of them were like seeing her go through the dumps of dating and like being hard out there. And she had a podcast too where she talked about the downfalls of dating and not being fun and like being so hard. And we both had a very similar energy to like our content. And what we put out there is like, this hopeful, romantic, but not finding somebody and just keeping it alive and keeping that fun, playful energy and believing in ourselves until we find somebody. So when it happened, everybody's like, yes, this is actually perfect. So it was really good. Everybody was really, really supportive. You've heard the chaos. Now you can see it. I hope she hasn't had to deal with. I think the only like negative ones are like people being like like, like anytime you're a mixed race couple on the internet, people are always going to say something stupid and be racist to like some extent. So like comments like that here and there. But like other than that, like not really. Nobody's like, this is stupid. Like you guys are like not right for each other.

Like none of that. No. How do you guys navigate then what you do share and what you don't? What we do share and what we don't. I think when it comes to the, like, we really, like, we have bad moments, but they're never, like, huge things. Like, it's always like, hey, we can solve this in the moment. So it's not like we need to go and talk about these, like, grandiose things. Do you ever share any of the bad moments?

Or is that something you guys keep private? I think that we would share bad moments if they were, like, playfully bad. You know what I mean? Like, we had this one story where we had ordered, like, a pear salad together. and she ate literally only the pears off the salad, and I was stuck with arugula, and, like, she shared that. You know what I mean?

Because we gotten a stupid little tiff over it, and it was, like, literally not a big deal. You got to fight over salad. Yeah. Like, the dumbest thing. So, like, things like that that aren't, like, important to our relationship, sure, you know, like, dumb little fights here and there.

But if it's, like, an important moment, like, obviously we're going to solve it between us, figure it out, and then move forward. But anything that's positive is always fair game, unless it's like something that we really want to keep between ourselves, like to share, or to not share to save. You know what I mean?

Like when we first started dating, we didn't tell everybody we were official until we knew we were good. You know what I mean? So like it's always just a conversation, you know, like if we're going to post something about the other that feels less than just like lighthearted, even if it's like a big moment in a positive way, hey, do you feel okay with this? You know what I mean? Just like checking in.

Yeah. I have a question. I saw that recently you guys watch. your season of The Bachelorette back together. What was that like watching with her? And what did she have to say? Oh, man. I mean, it was all in good fun. You know, nothing like crazy happened on my season. So I mean, other than, I think what, like episode two? What did she think about your entrance on Bachelorette? Oh, I think everybody that knows me knows that that just, they're like, that checks out so hard. Like, nobody's ever shocked when they meet me that I would do that.

I mean, she definitely, she reacted to it because she's like, that's freaking nuts. But other than that, like, I think it was all in good fun. I think the parts were, I mean, nobody wants to hear, like, their partner being like, what about, like, kids one day or, like, getting married to somebody else? Like, you're obviously going to be like, what the hell? Like, that's, but, I mean, it was all, like, she wanted to do it. So it was all fun. And you guys watch Paradise back as well.

I haven't watched Paradise yet. So that's next in the document. But then I have to watch hers and I really... I was going to ask, are you going to watch back any of her shows and which ones? I mean, her stint on the challenge was short, so I don't think we'll have that. And I don't even think it's online anymore. I don't think her big brother is, but her mom has a copy of it. So I'll get my hands on it.

You can buy it probably on Amazon Prime. Oh, you know this? I know that you can buy seasons of shows on Amazon. Okay, okay. So yes, probably. I mean, Big Brother, she won. So, like, I probably should watch that. Yeah.

That's cool. That's such an accomplishment. Right? Like that's sick. She was 21. Imagine getting right out of college. She'd like quit her day job to go on the show and then won $250,000 on a game show. Crazy. Right? And then she's been succeeding and influencing ever since.

And I'm like, I don't know how you do it. Like you're a fucking gangster for that. Are you going to watch back X on the beach? Yeah, that's the one I don't want to watch, but like I'm going to have to. Like if she's going to watch me on Paradise, like I have to go back and watch it. But again, it was so long ago. Like, have you guys discussed Paradise? Are you going to prep her for anything going in?

Only bad thing about Paradise really was like, I mean, from like a relationship standpoint is like watching me kiss what, like five people for like a kissing challenge thing in episode two. So tame. So tame. But other than that, like not that bad. Like I know her ex in the beach stuff isn't be way more ratchet that I have to watch. Not that. Why do you say that? Oh, she just said it's just like a off the wall show.

She's just like it's just like crazy. and she's like, I need to prepare you. And I was like, okay. Things got a little wild. For sure. For sure. It's an MTV show called X on the Beach. Of course, it's...

Yeah, MTV does good reality shows. And that's nice that you guys can watch those together and then kind of fully understand each other's journeys. It's one thing to tell them about it. It's another thing to watch. Okay, we are going to move on to a game. Cool. I've been yapping, by the way.

Sorry, you guys. I'm just talking my little heart out. to look fake tough while we're around on the show. I don't know why. Did you guys have a police come and ask you for a permit or something? Did we? I don't think so. I think I saw a police car and I said take a picture. That's it? Yeah, not that exciting, honestly. Was this on a one-on-one

date or a group date? This had to have been a group date. There's no way I was a one-on-one with Jen and I'm like, yo, take a picture me in front of the police car. All right. You might have. Honestly, this is producer. Katie, you might have had Jen stopped down to take a picture of your front of a police car. I wouldn't put it past you.

No, because on my group date, or on my one-on-one date, we didn't stop anywhere like this. We immediately got on a helicopter. Fair enough. Was your 101 in Auckland? Yeah. Yeah. Honestly, the 101 was sick. It was so cool.

We literally took a private helicopter to a private island. Well, private island. Like, it's a public island, but it's a winery. We had, like, put, like, hide and see. In the winery, which is crazy. Did wine tasting, did the hot tub on top of like the mountain and watched the sunset. It was really cool. Classic.

And then dinner. It was nice. Okay. Next photo. We have Jonathan in April. And Jonathan with a very low hand placement. What? No, it's not that low.

Questionably low. Questionably low. That is rib cage for sure. April's my girl. I love her so much. You know, I think I was in a weird place in the show when I was like ready to go home because I didn't have anybody. but she's like, hey, I want you to stay around. So she saved me.

And ever since then, we've just had like a really just good relationship. She was kind of, Jones, my TV mom, but April's a close second, I feel like now. Was this the night that April gave you a rose? No, no, this is at the watch party for the first episode of Paradise that came out. Do you still keep in touch with April? Yeah, I think we'll comment back and forth or like send DMs here and there. But literally just, I think she's just the sweetest person ever look at her. That's a great photo of her.

It really is. She looks incredible. I think too, like nights like this are a lot of fun because you get everybody together that was on the show. You know, so watching back, I mean, you know how it goes. Like when you are in it, you only get to see what you see. You don't get to see everything else that happened around you. So when you watch it together and you get to see everybody either like acting up or doing funny stuff or being like positive or whatever it might be, getting to sit there and just lock eyes with the entire cast every time they mess up.

Like, it's the funniest thing ever to go to, like, a big watch party like this. So I wish the episode where April saved me was this watch party because it would have been hilarious to see everybody's reaction. But, yeah, it was really cool getting together with everybody for that first episode. I feel like when everyone always gets back together, there's always so much drama. There's so much happening. Okay, so next photo, we have Jonathan carrying a lacrosse stick on a lacrosse field. Yep. Where was this?

This was in San Diego for my hometown, actually. Why do I look so goofy in this photo? First of all, love a short short. The inseams more than five inches. I don't want it. Second of all, this was funny, too, because they really didn't show us getting to play lacrosse because they gave us

these stupid little foam balls that weighed nothing. That's a phone ball? I think that was one of the... Looks like a tennis ball. That was one of the real ones they gave us that we were able to mess around with before the cameras were on the field. But they gave us these foam balls that like literally got stuck in the sticks.

Every time we'd throw it, it just hit the ground. Oh, no. You know what I mean? So we couldn't actually play. And I had my two best friends come and play with us, and we had to cut it all out because none of the footage was usable because the game was so like, honestly just boring to watch. Like it was us throwing the ball at the ground, picking it up on repeat. And Jen got to meet your friends.

And Jen got to meet my friends. Yeah. It was such a bummer watching it back because my friends were like, oh, like we're about to be in it. They were so excited. It airs and they're cut out completely and I'm like, losers. You know, my best friends were so drunk on my hometown and to this day they wish that it didn't air. That it didn't air. Yeah.

What did they think about seeing you and Jen and the fact that you were at hometowns? Were they so excited? It was hilarious because they're not like quiet individuals as soon as they were on camera. You know, it's weird because at this point I'm like, what, six weeks in? Yeah. To being there. So I'm like, being on camera is just like my every day now. So like you don't think anything of it.

my friends got there and they like froze and I'm like what do you get you guys ask her questions like this is the one time you get to meet her before like the end of the show potentially like grill her like you guys are my friends I'm stuck in this like whirlwind of like no outside contact you guys are my contact you're my lifeline what do you want to know and they're like do you like our friend or like do you have feelings so I'm like ask literally anything else like be more specific and grill her a little bit Like, I need your guys' help in this moment. And they just couldn't. And they ended up just cutting all of their stuff because it was just so unusable.

Sounds unusable. Jonathan, where was Brad? Did you invite him? Yeah, right? Yeah, why didn't you invite Brad to come to the hometown? You know, Brad didn't play lacrosse with me growing up. Brad was a football player, but that would have been a good one. Too bad.

Typical Brad. I know. You could have gone to his. I could have. Maybe you did. We'll never know. Yeah, right. Okay.

This next photo looks to be. Taken in Bachelor in Paradise, and it is everyone in the pool doing water aerobics with Leslie at the head. And it's Kat? That is, yes. I don't think Kat wanted to get her hair wet that day. And that would make sense. Yep. Where are you in this photo?

I am hidden right here behind Brian. Boom. Did you guys do water aerobics every day? I'm between Brian and Dale, you know, a couple of characters. No. I was actually taking a nap in my room, and I heard everybody just hollering outside. And I was like, what hell's going on? popped out and the producer was like get in the pool and i was like yep getting in the pool um and then lesie

put us to like a water aerobic session was it a good workout no no not because lesz is a bad teacher but because everybody all the guys are idiots and we were all just messing around the whole time um so it was more who could be the funniest in this moment than it was who could get the best workout did we see any of this on tv i don't know i don't i think maybe there was like a clip of it but like i don't think they actually like got to like it. It was a like a commercial bumper. Yeah. But can we talk about Dale and the fedora doing water aerobics? Because I remember when we were filming this, it was like Dale and the fedora. We're going for it. Yeah. Yeah. Where did Dale get that fedora? Honestly. Did he wear that often? No. I think he stole it off of Jack. I think Jack gives big fedora vibes.

And like, you know, him, he's like very east coast and like loves like shooting the shit and drink whiskey, I think Dale got it off of him and just thought it was a vibe. So he wore it the entire time? I have no idea. Looks great. Yeah. Were there any other behind the scenes workout moments? Behind the scenes workout moments. Yeah, we didn't see this. Did Leslie lead any dance classes? You know, weirdly enough, I got up every morning and I ran on the beach, like for miles. Makes sense. Yeah. Yeah. Yep, Spencer too. Uh, other than that, no, Dale always had his bands out and he just sit there and do this. Bands. Yep. They didn't give you guys free weights? No.

Really? No gym the whole time. Wow. You know? I can't. Yeah, because I know Paradise My season, there wasn't a gym, but. It's really unfortunate. You guys have just all shirtless.

I feel like there needs to be a gym. Who needs weights when there are coconuts available? That's so sure. But for the guys, sometimes they just need to, like, get away from us for a while, and it gives a great opportunity for that. It's a release for us to get a little workout. Get away. Yeah.

I don't know why you're pretending like you guys didn't all work out for, like, three hours a day. Yeah, but not the way that we wanted to. You did just fine. I ran a lot. It was okay. Honestly, if you flip that and just crop my face, it looks like I have to shit really bad. Explain where this is. This was when we were filming intros for the show.

So we were doing like, you know, like the flippy when you walk in. No, so not the almost paradise part. This was like a, when we walked into the beach and they gave like our intro clip of like, I'm Jonathan and I'm here looking for blah, blah, blah.

This was mine. I think I said something along the line of like mind right, body tight or something. And like, can you do anything cool? And I was like, I don't know. I can hold myself sideways on a pole. That is pretty cool. When did you acquire that skill? I don't know. I just tried it one day and I was able to do it, which is a crazy thing to say that, hey, I decided to go sideways on a pole and was able to do it.

Do you have any other pole moves? Oh, I'm great on a poll, yeah. Figures. It really does. No, I'm kidding. I have no idea. I'm sure if I went through like a poll class, I'm sure I'd have fun doing it. But no, that's about all I got. Well, if you ever, you know, need a career change. Oh, no. I mean, I did win the mail shipping date on Jen season.

Maybe this is a calling. I mean, should I just join the, what's the Thunder? Thunder down under. I need to start taking a little bit of steroids probably. Get a little bigger, but. Do you have any other? Okay, this next photo, we have-Ker-Priza and Jonathan. Jonathan is scaling a tree and Prisa is pointing at him.

Yeah. You know what's funny is, you know, I'm a huge goofball and Parisa is just like very interesting when it comes to animals and bugs and stuff. So I think we were just going around filming like random stuff because we're all bored at one point. And I was like, Prisa, how funny would a clip be if I like pretended to be like an iguana in the tree and you do a bit pretending to be like Steve Irwin or something? So you are an iguana. So I was an iguana in the tree and she did like an intro where she's like, and right here we have a wild. Like, I think she's called me like jiggity or something, like a wild jiggity. And just did like a whole bit. And then she touched me and I like freaked out.

And we were literally just messing around, just having a good time. I mean, there's a lot of downtime there. So like you got to fill it with something. And then you meet. Also look at her arm and shoulder. She looks ripped. Yeah, she looks incredible. And so does her hair.

Right. Were your feet ever on the ground in paradise? You know, yes. I don't love being barefoot, to be honest. with you. And the ground was hot. I don't think we've seen a picture without you being barefoot. I know. You should probably hide that free feet for the internet. Yeah, that's true. Cut that. That is a good picture, though. You guys should post that. It was a really funny memory. Oh, this is actually one of my like favorite, favorite bachelor memories. This is from Jones

season finale. No, no, Jones tell all. Men tell all. So these are all the golden men's children that were there. That's Kelsey's brother in the back. Gorgeous people. Kelsey's brother's the tall one. Yep. How tall is he? Matt is six six. Wow. He's a catch. I don't honestly, ladies, can we get, we got to hook him up. I try to every time I see him, he's the man. And he's hilarious. And he's also just look at him. We should get him on the cutest dude ever. A season of the bachelorette. Keep it in the fan. Generational run. 100%. But anyway, so I came to do social media for Bastra Nation and was doing it with everybody. I got to sit in and watch and talk to everybody.

But we made like this really funny video where I was pretending to be grew from Minions. And I was like, Minions, tonight we steal the moon. And then they were all down there like cheering on. It was a lot of fun. It was really cool getting to know like everybody's families and getting to be a part of that. honestly just hosting everybody and like kind of keeping everybody entertained and in good spirits throughout was was one of my favorite memories today. I don't feel like we've ever had a bigger group of families at a tell-all because normally they don't have any of change. I'm happy to chime in and tell you we absolutely have not.

As someone who books all the families and invites all of them, I think there were over 10 children and that's not even all of them in the photo. No, no, that's like half. So we had a lot more than that. But honestly, it was one of those cool things. I mean, even getting to come back and host like this, like you get to be a part of the family. Like, it's an honor to come do these things. Getting to be there and them honestly have all the golden dudes just to be like,

dude, it's so great to meet you. You got to meet my kids, blah, blah, blah. And then they all leave to go do what they need to do and talk to producers before and get ready for the show to have me just kind of be their entertainment and be like, hey, let's make videos and hang out and do stuff. Like, I don't know. It was just, it was a blessing and it was a lot of fun getting to meet all the characters and see who came from these men that you guys get to know on the screen, but you get a deep dive into their lives in the background. I wish, honestly, I wish we had like a videographer there to kind of go with me and just like talk to everybody because it would have been a lot of fun to get to know them.

That would have been a really cool behind the scenes segment. But also look at, I mean, I'll give you $10 if you can identify Gary's son right off the bat. It's so Gary's son. And you see Charles's daughter. And, like, you already identified Mark's son. Like, it's just, seeing all these kids added such a different layer to the men. Yep. Who we were already in love with.

And this just, it humanized them so much more. Yep. And look at Pascal's son. I mean, the suavest kid to enter the room. Yep. And then Pascal's daughter is right next. Good looking people. Everyone.

To be honest, I wanted these kids to come to paradise. Oh, yeah. It would have been fun. How fun would that have been? Like a family episode? No, I wanted them to be in the mix. I wanted you guys to date Charles's daughter, Sophia. I wanted Pascal.

This is a good spin-off, right? I wanted Pascal's son to come in and just, I think he might have been only like 20 years old, so he might have been too young. But, I mean, get any of the Anderson kids there. How fun would that have been? I think we need to get more Andersons in the run. Next to Matt, those are the sisters as well.

I'm telling you, like, there was something there. We have something, yeah. We could do a spin-off series. I think we have enough of on our plate these days. Siblings of. Yeah. But one day. Yeah.

Oh. This next photo, we have Jonathan in his hospital gown and medical grade wrapping on his face. So this is as I was leaving my hotel room to go. Like this is literally the hotel elevator to go down to my car for night one to drive to the mansion. my producer Brian took this and he goes smile and I'm like

dude I can't move my face like this is insane I don't remember if I had still had underwear on at this point I took it off right before but I feel like I don't think I wore it at all honestly because I was like

who's going to hold my underwear when I take it off I think I was still in the buff yeah at this point but I mean this is an insane memory I

that whole night was a blur, but I think this part in particular, you know, you're leaving. You're like, dude, is this like the right move? But also like, it's very me to do something like that. I was going to say this takes so much confidence. I remember going down in the elevator and how nervous I was. And I was the bad. I was in my glam. I was in my dress.

This is incredible. I think this showed off your personality. Right. So much. Would you have done it any other way? No. Heck no. The only thing I wanted to do.

differently. It was, I don't know if I've said this on podcast before, but I wanted to get dropped off in an ambulance and have a, I just don't think we could get it in time and have a, uh, an IV bag, but with a bag of wine and make her slap the bag and like take a pull of wine with me before, which would have been so fun. But we can do it because there's like this blood rule that you can't, whatever. Really? Yeah. That was, I mean, that's an incredible idea. That's actually the line is the showing of the blood. Yeah. Um, but anyway. Do you come up with this or did someone else? I did.

So I had like the ambulance thing. And then Brian and I, my producer, kind of just bounced ideas off one another. So him, the wrapping the face was him, but the me showing up in the, so me wearing, I think, no underwear and then having my face wrapped was him. But me showing up in a hospital gown, the way that I did was me. For those who know Brian? I wanted the ambulance. Yeah. The no underwear and the face wrapping just takes it right over the top, which is exactly where Brian likes to be, which is why we love him.

Yep. So too, when I couldn't get the ambulance, I was like, how about a gurney? And they're like, let's see. So then I had Polly, if you remember Polly. The guy who runs the intros kind of pushed me in on the gurney. And we were just off from there. I was even strapped down, too, just in case it tipped over. Having Pauly push you in is an honor. I know. I know. Once we went through the whole process and I was like, dude, this guy's a legend. He is. Do you feel like you missed out on anything by not coming in with any of the other guys in the limo? Hell no my thing is never to be I want to stand out you know what I mean And like yeah maybe I didn't get to meet some of the guys going into that moment But I wasn't there for the guys I wasn't like hey I'm gonna go on the show so I can hang out with the boys

Like no I was here to meet a girl That's what my main objective was And I kind of stuck to that And I was like I want to show off my personality I feel like everyone who does bits is always like well loved I think it depends on the lead But he's it depends on the lead and how insane the bit is That's a pretty

out there a bit. I mean quite literally out there. No, literally out there. At what point did you put your underwear back on? I didn't. Didn't, okay. Did you go to the rose ceremony without underwear? Yeah. You walked up and accepted your rose without underwear. If you go back and watch as I go up to gin for my rose, all the guys go

and they just start laughing because it was hilarious, honestly. Yeah. You might be the only person in the history of this franchise to be ass out in the group picture. Yeah. Honestly, the picture is hilarious too because everybody's suited up. Even people that did bits were in a suit.

So everybody suited up and it's just me standing there with my face wrap. I will say, though, it was funny, too, because I feel like there's not a lot of, like, mixed race, like, representation on different things. So anybody that was, like, either, like, a light skin dude or, like, had an Asian girlfriend, even if they were a white guy or whatever, they dressed up, like, me and Jen for Halloween. I had hundreds of people tagging me. That dressed up as you. That's actually really cool. Right? So they'd put on the hospital.

gown wrapped their face and then their girl got to wear like a dress that is so cool not not that many people can say someone dressed up like them for Halloween that my biggest flex from bachelor nation so far is that that's a flex for life yeah that is so cool no that was honestly a really cool memory like waking up like the day after Halloween and just seeing so many people tag out yeah do you have like screenshots so you could look back probably back there yeah I could probably look back on them I reposted some of like my favorite ones I reposted yeah I probably have those in the archives okay this is our last photo And this is Jonathan on an actual gurney, no longer walking into the mansion, but he's also in an orange.

Yep. Yep. So this is our rugby date in New Zealand for the group date that we did because we were in New Zealand for two weeks. So I did the group date the first week and then my one-on-one the second week. We were trained by the All-Blacks and this was right before our game actually. I think we were just trying to get like funny intros. and I was like, can we push me out to the field on a gurney again, like, to get me going? And they're like, no, like, we need it actually for medical reasons.

Yeah. Okay, so you weren't actually injured. No, they put me on it just for the fun picture. For the bit. Yeah, for the bit. But I wanted, like, our team to, like, huddle around me and, like, push it out and just, like, come out, like, yeah. You wanted it to be about you. Okay.

Yeah. I didn't mean it like that. I just thought it would be funny. He goes, what if everyone to huddle around me, pushed me out, and then I had a grand reveal to Jen. I live. Okay, I live for a bit and I thought it was going to be a funny bit. What?

A bit and attention? I love it. I love the bit. Did anybody actually get hurt on that date? I can't remember. Someone always gets hurt. Oh, I got my bell rung for sure. Oh, no.

But no ambulances. Mark has got his shoulder like dislocated for a second. I think so. That sounds right. Yeah. The fact that people are actually getting injured on these dates. Would you realize? And we continue to do them is crazy.

I got to be. excluded from our group activity day. Why is that? I had a one-on-one. They got Clayton knew even back then I was not doing the group activity date. But everyone was, they had rug burns and turf burns for the entire season. Yeah. Well, you know what's messed up is like, like, even for like moments like this, like, I'm pretty

average, dude. Like, I put the lacrosse in college, but like, I wasn't like all-star athlete. The guys that were on the season with me are Division 1 football players, ex-athletes, like, and I'm sitting here having to play full. contact rugby with them and survive. Who tackled you the hardest? Oh, shit, I don't know. Probably John Mitchell is a wide receiver for, I think he was on the Seahawks for a little

bit, potentially. Tall, black dude, doctor now. Accomplishment on that season. Oh, yeah. Multiple doctors. Multiple doctors. But anyways, I scored our only goal that day. Congratulations.

Thank you. Yeah. I took that win because they were all massive individuals. and I was the medium king of the season. Did you get the group date rows? No. No. It sucks.

But no, honestly, that first hit, I got my bell rung. I hadn't been hit in years. So, like, when I hit the ground, I was like, whoa. I don't want to tell anybody because I was like, I'm not going to stop playing. I'm not a soft, but, yeah. Okay. Well, thank you for sharing all this behind the scenes. We really appreciated it.
