What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth? Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Hi, everyone, welcome back to Badger Happy Hour. I am Joe. And I'm Serena. And we are here, recapping episode three of Jones season. And later on, we are going to have an interview with Jonathan, who in this episode got a one-on-one date, but he was a little sad because he wanted to hang out with. with the boys on the group date. Joe! You know that wasn't why
Starting point is 00:02:03 he was sad. Don't do Jonathan like that. No, no. I actually can't wait to talk to Jonathan. Jonathan's been in my Final Four. Well, he's in my Final Four. Yeah, he's in your predictions for Final Four. Yes. Based on the headshots. Yep.
Starting point is 00:02:18 And I actually still think he's tracking to potentially end up in Jones Final Four this season. Oh, I think, I think after watching this episode, I think Jonathan could be the guy. The next Golden Bachelor? No. I think you could end up with her. Oh, really? Maybe. Maybe. I'm not, I'm not against that in any way.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Let's kick it off. Where are we starting here? We're starting off with a 101 date. We have Pascal. Love Pascal. You do love him. He's my favorite, he's my favorite contestant right now. He is incredibly entertaining. He's great. And he has like really dark piercing eyes whenever he's on screen. I'm just like, like staring at his eyes. He's just entertaining.
Starting point is 00:03:02 Like he just tell the man has zero filter. He's going to say whatever it is. And he also has like this boyish charm to him. Like when the, when Joan showed up in the red car, I don't know. I think it was a Ferrari or a Porsche. And he was like,
Starting point is 00:03:16 ah, he was so excited. The man loves the finer things in life. Yeah. You see yourself in Pascal. That's why you like him. You too like the finer things. And you too would be so excited to drive around
Starting point is 00:03:27 in a cool car with a pretty girl. I mean, what a date, though. Yeah. They get to go, like, I was like, ah, like the helicopter dates are always just like, this is a private jet. Way better. Way better than a helicopter. A private jet to go to Las Vegas.
Starting point is 00:03:42 We get to, they get to Las Vegas. They're at the Paris Hotel. They go to a suite. They got a guy playing piano. They're trying on different outfits. And we see this day every season. They go shopping. They try on gorgeous outfits.
Starting point is 00:03:56 It's very luxurious. I feel like the person I referred to himself as Julia Roberts and pretty woman he did which I feel like is a great reference
Starting point is 00:04:04 and I feel like the person that usually gets to this date does very well goes pretty far I mean Rachel on Matt season got it
Starting point is 00:04:14 still together to this day Maria did it with Joey I mean they did not end up together but she too had a very strong connection made it
Starting point is 00:04:23 very far so maybe this is a hint that Pascal's going to be here for a little while Susie from Susie and Clayton Yeah Pascal
Starting point is 00:04:31 I think she chose Pascal Because he He just seems like he's somebody That if you want to unwind And have a good time And I feel like Pascal's like the guy To like forget about the cameras Like cameras really don't affect him
Starting point is 00:04:48 So you're just going to have fun On the date with him Yeah and I also feel like he's the opposite Of no frills Like he loves the finer things in life He loves luxury. I mean, he's out here having everyone do his laundry and cook his meals in the mansion. He's talking about how he lives this luxurious lifestyle.
Starting point is 00:05:06 So you want to take someone on this date that's going to really, really appreciate it and enjoy it with you. Like, I don't want to bring someone on this date that's going to be like, you know, this is cool, but I would just like be just as happy, like sitting at a beach drinking beers, you know? He's giving his all to the state. I also feel like he is having fun. He's into it. And he's also very complimentary and sweet with Joan throughout the whole day too, which I like. Yeah, a few kisses as well.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Do you think Joan is into him? I think that she's into him and I think that she likes spending time with him. But I don't know if I see that like compatibility there more than just this like fun, flirtatious romance. Same. Same. I can't. There's, I don't know what it is. I like.
Starting point is 00:05:53 I really do like him. and I think he's got a lot of attractive qualities but I don't know what it is I don't think Joan is that into him interesting yeah
Starting point is 00:06:06 interesting yeah I'm watching like ah this like you said this this structured date usually the person that gets it ends up going very far and ends most a lot of times
Starting point is 00:06:21 ends up with the lead he's not that guy for me. No, I don't think they will end up together. I think that Pascal needs to be in a relationship where like he is the shining star and like the leader and... Yeah, he needs to be the golden bachelor. He needs to be the golden bachelor.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Like, I think the dynamic is just off between them of like the roles that they play. Like, I feel like they both would be the ones to want to wear the pants in the relationship. Interesting. That's not what I'm getting. No, that's not what you see? No, I just don't think, I just don't think they're right for each other. Yeah, it could just be as simple as that. Maybe I'm trying to make it more complicated than it is.
Starting point is 00:07:05 We have to talk real quick. Wayne Newton shows up. I was pretty excited to see Wayne Newton there. Wayne Newton. Wayne Newton. He sings for them. It was a nice little, little moment. This is so random, and you're not probably going to get this reference at all.
Starting point is 00:07:22 but there's a book that I read called Malibu Rising and it's Sarah Jenkins Reed, I think. And the dad in it is this like young, like Hollywood star that like has this long music career. And Wayne Newton is exactly how I picture him. Way Newton, yeah. I've watched like documentaries on Wayne Newton. Pretty crazy. He still looks the way he looks. Anytime I hear that song, I think of Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Starting point is 00:07:51 I don't think of Wayne. Duncan Shane. Duncan Shane, yeah. Just reminds me of Las Vegas. He is like, I'm really glad that they got him because he is Mr. Los Vegas. Like if they would have got like somebody else, I would have been like, ah, that's like, way noon is Las Vegas. And you would know because you're there all the time.
Starting point is 00:08:11 I do go to Vegas a lot. Okay, moving on, we got, what do we have, group date? No, we have the night portion where Pascal opens up about his childhood and his past. He said he grew up with little to nothing. Yeah, basically nothing, yeah. And, you know, they were sharing beds. They had no money. You know, he told a story about his father,
Starting point is 00:08:35 fixing one of his shoes with holes in it with cardboard. Basically, just the opposite of the lifestyle he's exuding and living now. Which, honestly, just very inspirational. When he said, when he said, I moved to America, Did it speak a word of English? Didn't have anyone to talk to and I would go home at night and look at myself in the mirror and be like, positive mindset. You got this. You got this.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Like, honestly, like, amazing. It makes me love him even more. It makes me love him even more, too, just to know that he has overcome so much to be where he is today. He's a hustler. He looks great. He's a hustler. He's resilient. I think like that, you know, positive mindset.
Starting point is 00:09:21 of pushing through. Like, I can't imagine going somewhere where I didn't speak the language, just the lack of connection you would feel. And like, he's now has his own business. He's an entrepreneur. Like, it's really just like the American dream story. Yeah. But he does talk about like he has a hard time being vulnerable and opening up.
Starting point is 00:09:38 And it makes sense because he had to be really hard at a young age. And I think people that are usually like that have a harder time being vulnerable. Yeah, I think that would make sense He's probably had to be very tough for most of his life And he's also been through a lot But regardless, don't think he's going to end up with Joan But anyways. But anyways, we love Pascal
Starting point is 00:10:03 We see a clip at the house Of Charles L talking to Guy Which we'll get into a little bit more later When we talk about Charles L and Jones conversation But Guy is a doctor We're finally starting to see him We loved him and I want.
Starting point is 00:10:20 Another one of my final four? You have a really good final four. I know. I really like Guy. I'm glad we're finally getting to see him because he was one of our standouts out of the limo night one with his little like, he did like a perfume thing. Yeah. They had chemistry, at least that first night, I thought. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:38 And Charles Al opens up about a question that's been weighing on him regarding the passing of his wife. Such a sad story too. He talks about she kind of, she had a brain aneurysm out of, nowhere. Yeah, and foul. Yeah. And Guy is kind of able to give him that reassurance and that comfort that he didn't do anything wrong. Nothing was missed. The blood in her mouth that he was seeing was likely due to her biting her tongue. Yeah. I mean, just honestly, just really like, like sad, such a sad story, but like it was nice to see Charles get, I don't know if closure is the right word,
Starting point is 00:11:17 but I guess. Yeah, maybe a little bit of closure. on like a question that has been weighing on him. Yeah, yeah. So nice moment there between those two guys. Yeah, a guy was really there for him in that moment. He was very engaging and kind of gave him the advice of stop asking yourself why. Yeah, guys, guys, just the man. Just a great guy.
Starting point is 00:11:38 He just, yeah, guy's a great guy. He, you know, he helped, he didn't leave Kim hanging. He went and sang a song with him. I know, which I was like, that is such a bro move. Good for you. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Well, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
Starting point is 00:12:02 This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor, and they're the same age. And it's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them.
Starting point is 00:12:24 I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I'm Jamil Hill, host of the Sports and Politics Podcasts, and on the latest episode of Politics,
Starting point is 00:12:46 House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries joins me for a candid, conversation about the state of the Democratic Party. What do Republicans say to you privately that they won't say publicly? Many of them are in fear of their political lives. And that's been part of the challenge. But we continue to say to them, you were elected to defend your constituents, to stand up for your constituents. And there's life after Congress. And you should be willing to actually want to be able to look back on your time in the House of Representatives knowing that you can keep your head held high because you did the right thing. Donald Trump is gone in three and a half years, but their legacy or their failure to stand up to the extremism
Starting point is 00:13:28 and the unprecedented assault on America as we know it will be with them forever. Make sure to listen to Spolitics on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hi, my name is Enya Yumanzoor. And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom. If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you. But if you have unmedicated ADHD... Oh my God, perfect.
Starting point is 00:13:59 And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble. Yes, yes. Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you. Open your free IHeartRadio app. Search Emergency Intercom and listen now. And then we have the kickball date. We have the kickball date. I honestly, these always throw me off since Jesse has become the host because Jesse is so good at
Starting point is 00:14:28 commentating on sports that when he starts talking, I'm like, wait, what are we watching? Am I watching ESPN right now? That's what I think every time. No, Jesse is so good at it. Anytime there's a sports date and he is announcing it, I'm just, I'm so impressed. and I'm just taken out of Bachelor world and thrown into professional sports. Yeah, I'm like, this is like Georgia versus Clemson right now,
Starting point is 00:14:50 but it's not. I don't know what that means. It's old men playing kickball. These guys are having a great time. We're seeing a lot of Mark. Yep. Mark seems to be really opening up. I think Joan said to Jesse, like,
Starting point is 00:15:05 I'm seeing him having a lot of fun, which is always good. And then we see Jones say to Jesse also, that it's Charles L's rookie season, which I thought was cute because it's his first time playing kickball, and all the guys were so encouraging of him to just get out there,
Starting point is 00:15:22 kick the ball, play. And yeah, I just love watching, like, the inclusivity amongst all the men. Yeah. Who, who shined after the state? Well, we see the blue team wins. Yeah. So the red team goes back
Starting point is 00:15:35 in classic Bachelor fashion. And I think the standouts, well, I mean, obviously Charles L., He talks to Joan about his conversation with Guy. And that conversation, I would say, hit me more emotionally just because you could tell he went into the conversation with Guy, like very anxious to find out what he was going to say to him. But then to see the relief he felt and the positivity he felt about the conversation with Joan and just how much his energy had shifted about it was really lovely. and to see Joan just tell him, like, you cannot put that on yourself, and I'm so happy for you.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Like, the genuine bond they have over the loss of their spouses and the people that they loved, I just think they really connected in that moment. Did we see, was it part of the state where Jordan talks to her? Yeah. And like, yeah. Yeah. Another one of my final four. Are you kidding?
Starting point is 00:16:34 Yeah, Jordan's my final four. Chicago guy. Remember I said I feel like I've seen this man around? I really like him. Yeah. I like him a lot. He's just so sweet. I think they have great chemistry. Every time I see them chatting, I think they have great chemistry. Yeah. I think that one's, yeah. Yeah, there's a few guys right now that I'm like, I could see her with. Yeah. Yeah. She definitely has chemistry with a few
Starting point is 00:16:56 of the guys. I'm curious to see where it plays out. And then we do see her chat with her daughter, I believe, on the phone or someone on the phone and just express that her mom is sick and they need some help on what to do. It sounds like it's a cold flu situation because they're talking about like puffers and nasal sprays and all of that stuff. But yeah, her mom's, I think she said 92 years old. So it's always scary when a parent gets sick at that age. Yeah. And Joan cares about her family so much. And she does, you know, she had to leave first time around early. So don't want to see that happen again. No, we definitely don't want to see that happen again. We don't want to see anyone ill. in her family. And then we get Jonathan gets the one-on-one. Yes. And we saw when Jonathan got the, well, we knew he got the one-on-one because he wasn't on the group day card. It was the last name. He got really emotional. I actually think this is the only time in Bachelor history that someone has gotten emotional because they did not want the one-on-one date. They wanted to be on the group date. I've never seen it happen before. We want to bra out with the boys. That is not why he wanted the group date. You know it. I know. I really, I really like.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Jonathan. And, you know, on his one-on-one time, I do, I think Jones, I think they have a great connection. He talked about his divorce, which was, yeah, even like hearing that story of like, woke up one morning, my wife took a deep breath next to me and said, we got to talk. I'm not happy. That's like, it's so, It's rough because, like, when you hear breakup stories, you think to yourself, like, well, I would never do it that way or like, but it's just like there's no, I guess there's. How else do you do it? That's what I'm saying. There's no, when it comes to like a serious breakup, I guess there's just like no right way or right time.
Starting point is 00:19:04 I mean, there's definitely some wrong ways, but. there are hard definitely some wrong ways but it is just like yeah it's just tough and i can't imagine like and they have kids yeah and i do think you know the ideal there's no ideal situation when it comes to divorce or separation but i think everyone hopes that it's like you know we tried and we did this and we did that we both just came to the decision that it's best if we move on and it's amicable and, you know, we still have a lot of respect for each other. That happens about 1% of the time. Yeah, and I think there's a lot of people that say that's how it went down when, you know, there's, it's hard. Like, you're, you're separating your life from someone, your life partner, the parent to your children a lot of the time.
Starting point is 00:19:50 So for, it sounds like, you know, it maybe wasn't something that he wanted or wasn't necessarily expecting in that moment. And I'm sure that, like, I can't even imagine. Yeah, I try to imagine it. I try to imagine if you were just like woke me woke you up in the morning and said well i wake up before you but yeah if i you know i came back with my coffee and you're like we need to talk um i want a divorce i'd be like damn it's that there's actually a very funny uh a funny curb your enthusiasm episode yeah where he when he was married to Cheryl and he comes home and she's like it's over but she's clearly not talking but the way they set it up where she's oh yeah you've watched this episode with you where he's like okay no he's like he's like he's like really and he says it in like a
Starting point is 00:20:46 happy way like all this this is this is awesome and she's like and if you did think i was going to say that you're you're thrilled about this moment oh it's funny so funny but yeah no it's just when you hear those stories it's tough and I think think that's why Jonathan was emotional going into this date is because he doesn't want to be alone anymore. Yeah. And I think that, you know, he said it's been nine years since his divorce, but that was obviously a really big and somewhat traumatic moment in his life. And to have this, he seems to have this fear of opening up and being vulnerable. Like, it is so much more time when you're on the one-on-one date. And he's probably thinking, like, I can't just like have a little bit of time
Starting point is 00:21:33 with her on the group date but also like be buffered but with all these other guys there like it's really just her and I and like I'm going to be expected to open up and potentially have feelings for her and then that leaves me vulnerable to rejection if she decides that she doesn't want me like he talks about what if I don't get the rose at the end of it um but they have a great date he's so wonderful I guess not to cut you off but I guess I guess most of these guys at this stage of their life's rejection has hasn't even crossed their mind. Yeah, I mean, I think when you're younger and you're single, like rejection is just so much more common and likely. Like, you're going out to bars, you're flirting with people, you're asking people out, you know, you're casually
Starting point is 00:22:22 dating. It's just more frequent. I think when something happens more often, you're more desensitized to it. And for a lot of these guys, especially if they're, you know, divorced or widowed, I mean, they're all single. So a lot of them are. Yeah. Hopefully. Not, they're not married. It's maybe been some time since they've experienced rejection.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Yeah, which is tough. Which is scary. I mean, he talked about the moment where he was zipping up because for those listening, you have to pack your bags before you go on dates, on 101 dates, in case you get sent home, in case you don't get a rose at the end of it. And then, you know, your bags are already packed. Same with rose ceremonies. So he talks about having to pack up all.
Starting point is 00:23:02 of his stuff and zip up his suitcases and how that reminded him of the moment where he was leaving his wife. I was like, oh my gosh, that is, yeah, that would be so triggering. I was always anti-packing my suitcase. Were you the person that, like, didn't pack their suitcase? Yeah, I'd be like, I'm not going home. I'm not packing my, and if I do go home, you guys will give me the five minutes I need to pack my suitcase. They don't, though. Well, they have no choice because if none of my stuff's pack, I, I have to, I have to pack it. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly and now I'm seriously suspicious. Well, wait a minute, Sam, maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Starting point is 00:23:42 Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
Starting point is 00:24:05 It's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. I never envision being with a woman. I'll just be honest.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Jamel Hill, host of the sports and politics podcast, Spolitics. On this week's episode, I'm joined by basketball legend, Candice Parker, who stops by to discuss her candid new book, The Can Do Mindset, in which she shares why she waited two years into marriage to come out. Like when I close my eyes at night, every night, I was like, I need to find my prince charming. Like, it was never a princess. Like, that never entered into my mind.
Starting point is 00:24:56 But, you know, as I learned, sometimes life gives you things wrapped in a package that you didn't expect it. And that was just, you know, and honestly, it took me a long time to be okay with myself. Make sure to listen to this week's episode of Spolitics on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Hi, my name is Enya Umanzor. And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom. If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you. But if you have unmedicated ADHD...
Starting point is 00:25:37 Oh my God, perfect. And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble. Yes, yes. Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you. Open your free IHeartRadio app. Search Emergency Intercom and listen now. Okay, so then we do, so then Joan sees a hawk, which reminds her of her husband, and then she, you know, she's, a lot of those feelings are coming back. She's getting sad. She's now thinking, am I even ready? Can I get there with, with another guy, which poor Jonathan's got to happen on his day, but this is the end of the date. And then, you know, you know what is so, I don't know if this is. anyway basically i don't know if this is sick to say
Starting point is 00:26:30 great let's hear it but like okay i think it's very common to attach the loss of a loved one to some sort of like living creature right like kelsey sees butterflies and she thinks of her mom with me like with my grandmother when she passed like i think of whenever i see dears like i think of her because when we were at nemacolin i found out she passed and i went on a walk and all these deers, like, came over to me. And I was like, my gosh, like, and my grandmother was in Victoria and there's deer's there. Anyway. When I play roulette, I think of my uncle Johnny. Yeah, it's a little different. But, you know, yeah, like, you're connected to things. Come on. But that's a situation where, like, you're not just going to, like, randomly come upon a roulette table, you know? Like,
Starting point is 00:27:09 you're going into a casino. Whereas with animals, you don't have, like, control necessarily over when they come to you. Sure. So it's like, if, let's say, hypothetically, knock on wood. I hope this never happens. You passed away. Well, I was just going to say, like, if you passed away and let's say I attached you to like a blue Jay, okay? I felt like you were a blue Jay. Just go with the story. And I'm on like a new date and I'm starting like flirt it up and like fall for this guy. And then I see a blue Jay be like, Joe, get out of here. Like get, I love you so much. And like, I'm comforted to see you. But like this is not the time. Clearly not. And this was a sick fucking story.
Starting point is 00:27:46 Jesus Christ. You just like on a date flirting it up. I'm just flying around like a Blue Jay. Well, that's kind of what's happening here with Joe and Jonathan the hug. I would be like, now I'm sad and I want to go crawl into bed and watch old wedding videos. It would be very hard for me to move on if you kept flying around me. You know what? If I do come back, yeah, maybe I will come back as a Blue Jay now. You won't.
Starting point is 00:28:11 You're not giving Blue Jay energy. I'm going to give you a nice little peck on the nose while you're flirting it up. And then after a date, my favorite. favorite part of the episode. My man, Gary is back. I love it. Gary's on the screen. Okay. Well, before we get into Gary, do we want to chat about Joan addressing the men and how she's been feeling? She's struggling. Yeah. Seeing the hawk really generated a lot of emotions and she, I mean, she lost her husband not that long ago. And as much as I think it's beautiful that she's looking for love again, I can imagine there's still a lot of grief.
Starting point is 00:28:50 inside of her. Yeah, definitely. I don't know if you ever get over it. Like, I don't think I would ever get over it if you died. No, you won't. And yeah, I think these guys really sympathize with her and a lot of them are probably going through the same thing. Yeah, I mean, a lot
Starting point is 00:29:06 of them have lost their loved ones. I think we see Mark talk about how he totally understands what she's saying in the sense that, like, you might only get 80% or 90% of her because part of her will always be tied to her husband, who's no longer with her. And that was her partner for years. Chalk pulls her to the side and has a talk, which he's really good with her. Yeah, he was really sweet with her. I mean, she is doing the right
Starting point is 00:29:33 thing, which is being vulnerable, right? Like the lead is always asking the contestants to open up and be vulnerable. We only have so much time. You have to, you know, show me who you are. So I think it's good that she was vulnerable as well. And Chalk actually, he says to me, he goes, I missed you and I thought of you. I was like, that is really sweet. you should say that to me more Really? You like that? Yeah, it was just so simple It wasn't anything like fluffy It was just like this week I missed you and I thought of you
Starting point is 00:30:00 How about Kim creating a whole song That like none of the guys wanted to sing with him Then he got upset What am I watching here? Yeah, I mean I actually wasn't into the song When Kim was presenting it to the guys I was on team dudes
Starting point is 00:30:17 I was like this isn't it But when him and Guy did it, and she had had such a rough night. It was just such a light and silly thing. It totally worked. Not for him because he ends up going home. Not for Kim. But for Guy, it worked.
Starting point is 00:30:32 And I think it's still, it was really sweet. It was a gesture that, like, they had to put time and thought and energy into. And I think that always lands. And then my man, Gary comes back. Love Gary. It was actually so nice to see Gary. I was actually so happy to see him. he needs to show up on every golden season at this point and he she you could tell just when you're on a show like this
Starting point is 00:30:58 it's so nice to see a familiar face where you're like ah this is this just kind of like this is a sense of normalcy and they have a good conversation and then gary just like kind of drops a bomb of like what what do you really think any of these guys are your guy are you worried that maybe i know i was like whoa we're hugging, we're happy, familiar face and we've taken a turn to some serious questions. Before I leave, I just want to ask you, maybe there's a chance that none of these guys are for you.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Yeah, and I was like, I don't know if we want to put that doubt in her head, Gary, if it's not something she's already thinking about. But I think she felt very confident with her answer that she has a lot of different connections. She's really getting to the guys. I do think she has chemistry with a lot of the guys. And I think it was probably reassuring just for her to say that out loud for herself after such a hard night of wondering if she can get there, wondering if she can do this, just to remind yourself, like, no, I do really like these guys. And I am excited to see where some of these connections go.
Starting point is 00:32:07 Yeah, I feel like. But definitely a left-field question from Gary. Yeah. I love it. But I liked it. I'm glad he came out. Glad you asked it, Gary. Way to go.
Starting point is 00:32:15 Way to go, Gary. And then we see, yeah. So then it just. bro ceremony and then the guys that go home were you shocked at any of the i was a little upset to see gregg go too i was upset to see gregg go i liked him i don't know who's gonna do pascal's laundry now because he's gone so i'm worried about that uh charles k charles k was in your top he was in my top four he was in your final four and i really like him and i'm actually was surprised to see him go home but we also really didn't see a lot of him
Starting point is 00:32:45 so i'm wondering if maybe they just didn't really have a connection and then kim But now we're kind of at the point of the season going into next week where, I mean, she has strong connections with a lot of the guys left or at least developed friendships. So I think most of the time it's going to be shocking now. Well, this is when it gets, this is when the golden seasons get sad are seeing these people now go home because it's like, damn, now, now it's over. Yeah, but you know what was nice? They really need to bring a paradise for golden because that is the nice thing about seeing people go home on
Starting point is 00:33:28 our seasons. Yeah, there's always still the potential of paradise. There's that kind of hopeful feeling of like, well, it might have not worked out for you here, but like you still might get a second chance at this. I would love to see that. I would love to see just like more of these golden relationships. and I do think it feels sad when they get sent home of like, oh, they came in with hope and
Starting point is 00:33:52 like they left with nothing. But we see Kim leave and he does say like, I'm hopeful now that I'm going to find love. And I think even with the Golden Women on Gary's season, they always left on kind of an upbeat positive note on, you know, where their life is going to take them now after this experience. Yeah. It's also, it's just, yeah, it's just like a, it's such a unique fun experience in general and then to be able to do it you know in your later years of life I mean like overall it's like I guarantee you I won't guarantee but I will say probably
Starting point is 00:34:27 majority of people that have gone on a golden season don't regret it you know who we haven't really seen since night one is Keith Keith we're seeing it we see we see him talk I don't think it's at for I think she still really likes Keith yeah I think we're gonna start seeing more of Keith. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:46 Who do you think is going to get the one-on-one next week? I don't know. I mean, we do see Chalk go home. I couldn't believe they show that. We're just leaving that in the teaser. Like, he's just going home. It's like, and next week,
Starting point is 00:35:04 Chalk sends himself home. Don't need to tune in. If you're wondering what happens here, we're going to show them tell the guys. We're going to show him tell Jonah. We're going to show him get in the car. I want to see. Crazy. Yeah, crazy.
Starting point is 00:35:15 I want to see, I think it's going to either be Jordan or Mark. Yeah. Right? I would agree. I would say, or Guy, or you can see Guy. Yeah, maybe Guy. Is there anyone else? Maybe Charles.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Maybe. Maybe Charles. But yeah, we'll have to see next week. And next week. And then don't forget to tune in because. we have our interview with Jonathan coming up. Joe's going to ask him how he has stayed looking so young because he's been wondering it since his cast photo came out.
