This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate. Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Starting point is 00:01:57 or people are listening, whoever, if we forget someone or we just can't go through them there's just 32 there's a lot yeah don't read into this yeah we're literally just almost going to pick it random jo's just going to scroll through and if we miss you if we miss someone that you know we apologize yeah and we will honestly most likely cover it you uh or that person during during the show during the season um okay so let's just get right into it watch we're gonna like skip the girl he picks like we're gonna end up we're gonna end up missing the girl he picks probably That would be crazy.
Starting point is 00:02:31 If he's with someone, which I haven't seen any spoilers yet, which I'm, I didn't see any spoilers for Golden Bachelor. And I'm going to try to do that again for Joey's season, this really not see anything and not know anything. Spoiler free? It makes it so much more enjoyable. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. Okay. First, first on the list, we have, we see Allison from Philadelphia.
Starting point is 00:02:56 She's a realtor. She's Lauren's sister. She's 26 Lauren's sister Would mean she has I think she has a She has a I was going to say twin But no she has a sister who's also on
Starting point is 00:03:08 This season Oh really? Yeah Oh my God It says Allison is ready for her Romcom level love story Yeah how does that work I'm finding
Starting point is 00:03:17 Siblings Well we'll get to her Well I want to see what she looks like Oh they look alike Yeah They do look alike Yeah Okay
Starting point is 00:03:24 She is looking for a man Who is loyal positive sure and kind so she is excited to see if joey is her perfect match um yeah how do how does that work siblings fighting for the same person i don't know they've had siblings but they had twins one year didn't they well twins twins are siblings okay yeah but you know what i mean okay yeah but you know what i mean they've never had like sis like other than the twins yeah who i can't remember their names the blonde twins um ferguson twins the ferguson twins yes um they had the ferguson twins on Ben's season, I believe.
Starting point is 00:04:00 I think so. Who are both married now. Yeah. And I don't think since then we've seen siblings. Yeah. No, yeah, we have. Yeah, we have. Have we?
Starting point is 00:04:10 Yeah. Two guys. That were brothers? Yeah. Joey and maybe Joey and Justin. Would you do that? Would you go on with your brother? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:23 I don't know. I'm trying to think. I feel like on one hand, my sister and I both got cast to be like, this is so fun to get to do this together and like so funny and just to have a buddy to go through this crazy experience with. But then when I got there, I'd be like, I don't really want to make it with the same dude as you. Yeah. And it also, it works if one person doesn't catch feelings. But if the, if both do, that it's an issue. Yeah. If one person's kind of just there. Oh my God. Watch them be on the two on one together. That'd be horrible. Um, okay, next up,
Starting point is 00:04:53 autumn, St. Louis, Missouri. Account executive. She's 26. autumn is a small town girl ready for her big love she comes from a loving family where she's part one of two sets of twins interesting okay so she is a twin she loves listening to cold play um all she's missing is her true love by her side let's read one of her fun facts she got a lip tattoo at a music festival that's one of her fun facts yeah okay that's actually kind of that is a good fun fact i i don't know if joe he has a type um i usually
Starting point is 00:05:31 they do and it is evident within the first few weeks it's so hard to tell like right coming off the show because it's like okay yeah he was into charity but i don't know if that's his type or not well i think she's okay but do you remember the um after the rose one of the shows and the two girls came yeah there was the blonde girl and then there was lea or lea yeah i think it's lea yeah and she had
Starting point is 00:05:58 darker features. I think he's more into darker features than lighter features. Maybe. I would love to know how many leads ended up with someone if they have a strong type because not everyone does. I would say I don't really
Starting point is 00:06:14 have a major type. I'd say you don't really have a major type. But there are people like Zach. Zach has a type. Like all the girls looked very similar that he was into. I would be curious to find out how many leads ended up with a girl or a guy that was like categorically their type and people that didn't that was like oh yeah like end up with someone that you know I usually date
Starting point is 00:06:35 tall girls and yeah she was super short anyway uh okay Chandler is from or lives in New York I shouldn't say from because we don't know where these people are from this is where they live uh Chandler lives in New York she's a graphic designer she is 24 she is empathetic and driven as she is beautiful um she has her love that she has her life figured out um also i'm reading the cast bios for our listeners i'm not uh just throwing these things yeah just make clear we're reading off of the bachelor nation dot com website and if you're looking to also look at these bios that's where you can find them we are not just coming up with these on the lot you think i could you think i could she think i should just start just start looking at the photos and just giving our own bios for each person
Starting point is 00:07:22 all right you want to do it for the next no i don't that sounds so stressful to me let's just keep reading um okay uh next i'm ready to love someone who will love me back are you on chandler still yeah i am still on chandler uh let's see she runs down the west side highway oh my god joe you run down the west side highway i've never seen her maybe you have and you just didn't know maybe you'll bump into her now maybe maybe she's had her fair share of situation chips but she's ready for the real deal um it's giving i've been played okay wow she throws through you're throwing shots Not at her, at her situation ships. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Next up, Krissa. Krista is from Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canadian. Wait, Abbotsford. Yeah, do you know where that is? I think I do. Yeah, I feel like that's, I'm searching it up. My mom's from British Columbia. She is a marketing director.
Starting point is 00:08:20 She's 26. It's easy to see what makes Krissa such a great catch. her gorgeous smile lights up the room she has a career she is proud of and her maturity is beyond her years um chrissa is fun fact she's super athletic but cannot ride a bike um chrissa is a christmas birthday baby wow she was born on christmas i think that means she's a capricorn too okay next up we have daisy are you still looking up the geography. Yeah, sorry. I was looking at where Abbott's Ford is. It's like Vancouver, but I think I have been there. I love a Canadian gal. Next up, we have Daisy. She's from Becker,
Starting point is 00:09:08 Minnesota, or lives in Becker, Minnesota. Account executive, she's 25, and she is so, capital S, capital O, ready to find the one. She comes from a big, loving family in her parents, 30 plus years, marriage, has been the blueprint. for the kind of love she wants for herself. Fun fact, Daisy enjoys singing in her car at the top of her lungs. And she loves ice cream. No one loves ice cream more than Daisy. Definitely.
Starting point is 00:09:40 No one. Joe loves ice cream more than anyone I've ever met in my whole life. That was, that's not true. That was a callback to the hangover. What? No one loves ice cream more than Daisy, no one? Yeah. Really?
Starting point is 00:09:53 What part? No one loves stew more than I do. No one. Yeah, it is. Oh, my God. Who's writing these? Oh, he says no one loves stew more than I do. Not no one loves stew more. Yeah, it's not no one. Not no one loves stew more than I do. No one. Not you. Not you. Huh? I think it was just excellent. Okay. Next up. Edwina. Edwina. Edwina. That's how I pronounce it. Edwina? I think so. Yeah, Edwina. Atlanta, Georgia. She's an entrepreneur. She is 25. She is a woman of the world. She was born in Liberia and moved to the United States with her family when she was 11 years old. So she taught herself to crochet when she was a child living in West Africa. Now she runs her own crocheting business with clients across the globe. That's amazing. That's so impressive. Good for her. She really wants to learn how to play tennis. Well, that's great because she is then dating the right guy. Every promo I've seen for. Joey. He has a tennis racket. I know. I actually really like the tennis promos. I think they're so fun. Like, did you see his slogan is like game set? Yeah. Love. I like it too.
Starting point is 00:11:09 My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly and now I'm seriously suspicious. Oh, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast. So we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor and they're the same age. And it's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him?
Starting point is 00:11:44 Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio out Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. So in the last month, the Midas Touch Network beat Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, Charlie Kirk, and Ben Shapiro all combined. Conservative podcasts can have a major political impact, but the Myceles Brothers, three siblings with a serious media strategy, are building an alternative to that.
Starting point is 00:12:19 On the latest episode of Next Question with Katie Couric, I sat down with the brothers behind the Midas Touch Network to talk about how they built a progressive media powerhouse from the ground up, why audience interaction is the key to political influence and what it takes to fight disinformation at scale, one download at a time. We should be focusing on the issues that actually occupy a lot of the mental space in Americans' minds but are filled with conspiracies, and we should fill it with the truth and solutions. Listen to next question with me, Katie Couric on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or
Starting point is 00:12:55 wherever you get your podcasts. The U.S. Open is here. And on my podcast, Good Game with Sarah Spain, I'm breaking down the players from rising stars to legends chasing history, the predictions, well, we see a first-time winner, and the pressure. Billy Jean King says pressure is a privilege, you know.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Plus, the stories and events off the court, and of course the honey deuses, the signature cocktail of the U.S. Open. The U.S. Open has gotten to be a very fancy, wonderfully experiential sporting event. I mean, listen, the whole aim is to be accessible and inclusive for all tennis fans, whether you play tennis or not. Tennis is full of compelling stories of late.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Have you heard about Icon Venus Williams' recent wildcard bids? Or the young Canadian, Victoria Mboko, making a name for herself? How about Naomi Osaka getting back to form? To hear this and more, listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain, an I-Heart Women's Sports Production in partnership with Deep Blue Sports and Entertainment on the IHeart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. Erica, New Jersey leasing agent, she's 25.
Starting point is 00:14:08 She's the full package and is ready to meet her dream man. She has gorgeous curly hair. Is that you saying that? Oh, no, that's written in here. It's right. I'm not saying. She does have gorgeous curly hair. She does.
Starting point is 00:14:22 like to expand on her curly hair because you also have curly hair. No, it looks great. It looks like she's definitely using the right product. I don't know. It's beautiful. Evelyn. You have curly hair too. I know. Evelyn, San Antonio. You're flying through these. You're going so fast. Well, maybe we're going to cover all 32. Okay. Okay. Sure. Evelyn. 30. Evelyn. San Antonio. You want to do this? No, I haven't been saying anything. Evelyn, she's a nanny, she's 29, she's San Antonio, Texas. This is a great headshot. Great headshot, she is bold.
Starting point is 00:15:01 She's an outgoing woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. What's Hamif, Hamlethan? Hashtag Hamelfan. I don't know. Do you know what that is? I don't know. Hamelfan. A person.
Starting point is 00:15:19 who is a large fan of the hip-hop musical Hamilton. Oh, okay. So she loves musical Hamilton. I didn't know that they had like a name for themselves. She's 29. How old is Joey? Do we know how old Joey is? I think he's like 20.
Starting point is 00:15:33 How old is? You can Google anything these days. Bachelor Joey. Let's see if it. He's 28. 28. It says his birthday is May 24th, 1995. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Next up, we have Jen, Miami, Florida. I'm cracking physician assistant student she's 25 she's bubbly and compassionate and has dedicated her life to helping others Jen Jen Jen Oh she likes the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo I also love that book She knows that aliens are real
Starting point is 00:16:17 She's bilingual. Jealous. I think. Aliens are real. There was a whole TikTok like blew up at one point because it got released that they were like, yes, we know for a fact that there is life alpha of earth. I think Joey might really like this girl. I think so. I could see it.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Probably compassionate. A reader bilingual. Sean Mendez's music regularly makes, regularly makes Jen cry. Sean Mendez is a Canadian. Wow. Honestly, I feel like my role during these bios is just to like tie it back to Canada as many times as they can.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Next up, we have Jess in Diego, California. We cannot have a season without someone from San Diego. No, or a girl named Jess. I haven't seen anywhere from Chicago yet, though, and there's usually a few Chicago people. I know. Executive assistant, 24, finally her perfect fairy tale love.
Starting point is 00:17:11 She has always dreamed of doing that. She says she is excited to meet Joey because I want to find someone that I can trust with my heart with someone who will respect me and someone who will do anything to cherish our relationship.
Starting point is 00:17:25 Okay. Well, I think you're in the right place. She describes her personal aesthetic as country glamour. She's a sucker for a pretty view. Cute. Maybe Joey's her pretty view. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Caitlin. Oh my gosh. She spells Caitlin the same way. My best friend, Kieland spells her name. K-A-T-E-L-I-N. If I was a Caitlin, that's how I would spell it. Yeah, I like the spelling.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Kate, then-L-L-L-L-N. A radio chemist. What's that? I don't know. Santa Fe, New Mexico, radio chemist. She's beautiful, intelligent, tremendously accomplished. She's a radio chemist, which we are Googling. Oh, it's the chemistry of radioactive materials.
Starting point is 00:18:05 Wow, that's cool. That's a cool job. It's a cool job. That is cool. It's interesting. I definitely keep her around. Just because of the job? for one, just the job, just because I'm very intrigued. What is it? Okay. Next step, we have
Starting point is 00:18:21 Kayla Hamilton, Ohio. She's a guidance counselor. She's 27. She's outgoing trustworthy and unapologetic woman with a big personality. How do we feel about people that consider themselves to be trustworthy? Are they trustworthy? You can trust. Because even if you're not, no one who isn't trustworthy is coming out being like, can't trust me. Right? Yeah, I guess that's true. I don't know. I feel like I would, I like to think of myself as a trustworthy person and you have to give yourself adjectives in these bios. So.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Okay. She looks trustworthy and she's a guidance counselor. So she would have to be trustworthy to have that job. I hope so. Hope she's not lying. Kelsey A. New Orleans, Louisiana. Junior project manager.
Starting point is 00:19:12 She's 25. She's so cute. Southern sweetheart. spent most of her childhood growing up in Germany on a U.S. military base. That's interesting. Wow. Yeah. Yeah, I could see, from the headshot, I could see Joey being into her.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Next up, Kelsey T. Los Angeles, California, 31. She's an actor. Why did you make that noise? I just don't know how actors usually do on the show. I feel like actors always get the here for the wrong reason. Label. Label, yeah. She's a kind woman who radiates joy and ambition everywhere she goes.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Well, hopefully, yeah, it's like, well, you're, because that's always like the easy excuse. Well, she's in acting. Is she acting right now? It's like, no, that's just her job. That's true. That is true. But I do feel like people, people use that. They do because it's like, well, you're an actress.
Starting point is 00:20:13 So, like, how am I supposed to know if you're telling the truth or not? Like a regular person can't lie. Yeah, that's true. Kara, Miami, Florida, paralegal, 26. She's quirky, hilarious woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. lives in Miami. Well, we never know how the lead feels about before going into the season. Usually how the lead feels about dating someone who lives in a different city.
Starting point is 00:20:42 Yeah. Well, Joey is from, his family's from I think New Jersey. Yeah, I think. Or maybe Philadelphia? I think it's. He's from somewhere in the East Coast, but he. He lives in Hawaii.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Lists in Hawaii. But last time we chatted with him, he was like, open to moving, I'm not sure. Like, he wasn't tied to Hawaii for forever. Okay, Laney, Philadelphia, Realtor, 27, Adventure Seeker. hair at the bachelor she will find Laney Okay
Starting point is 00:21:15 Lauren Wow you really just said Okay and next No well I mean we just honestly We just have to we got 32 women So I got to move you know I'm trying to mention everyone You're doing a great job
Starting point is 00:21:28 Thank you're flying through this list Lauren Her sister was the first person we named She looks like her sister Yeah they both have incredible hair Like truly just like thick and long and healthy and beautiful. Looks like her sister.
Starting point is 00:21:40 She's from Philadelphia. She's a registered nurse. Her sister is Allison. She is 28. I believe her sister is 26. She's the total package of brains beauty and a hilarious personality. So yeah, she's a nurse. We will see how this whole sister thing works out.
Starting point is 00:21:58 It's either going to be great or a disaster. Either way, I'm into it. You're into it? I can't wait to see it play out. Leia. Leah lives in Hawaii account manager, 23. she was she met joey after the final rose she got the roses the stick around remember he gave her like some an envelope no i think jesse gave the envelope and it was like this envelope it's gonna give you like an
Starting point is 00:22:22 advantage on night one yeah i know it's giving like survivor like here's your immunity idol and joy but he picked her how did this work it was at charity's finale right yeah and there was two girls and they were going to find it which one. Yeah, and he chose her. He chose her. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. So they, I feel like. Rough on that.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Rough for the other girl. So rough. So rough. But I feel like going into Night 1, having met the lead already, no matter what gives you a slight advantage, because there's going to be a level of comfort there of like a familiar face, even if you only met him for like three minutes that he doesn't have with anyone else. Okay, but do you think that that little level,
Starting point is 00:23:08 of comfort may take away like some excitement the excitement maybe a little bit yeah that's also a good way to look at it like would you want would you want to be in her would you rather be in her position no I would not want to be the whole time I was watching that I was like I would not let's just say let's just say like he would you want to be someone that he can never seen before or would you would you rather have a little advantage of be someone that like he's seen before or something happened at after the Rose show. Like maybe let's just say for your sake, she was just like sitting in the audience and like waved.
Starting point is 00:23:44 And that's all she had to do. Hmm. No, I think here's the thing. It's going to sound like a backwards answer. I wouldn't want that. I would want to meet them night one because I would want as organic of an experience as possible to follow like the traditional format of the show.
Starting point is 00:24:02 However, that's not to say I still think she has an advantage. Okay. I don't. I still think there's. an advantage there. But I would forego, I would take the risk and forego it to not have that, like, additional element. I think the only advantage she has is she has a better chance of sticking around.
Starting point is 00:24:20 Well, she has a rose already, doesn't she just like, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, she has a rose, yeah. So, yeah, I guess she does have a pretty good advantage. So, like, that also helps, like, the nerves. Yeah. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly and now I'm seriously suspicious. Oh, wait a minute, Sam.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Maybe her boyfriend's just look. for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the okay story time podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now hold up, isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate.
