This is an I-Heart podcast.
I'm Dr. Scott Barry Kaufman, host of the psychology podcast.
Here's a clip from an upcoming conversation about how to be a better you.
When you think about emotion regulation, you're not going to choose an adaptive strategy
which is more effortful to use unless you think there's a good outcome.
Avoidance is easier.
Ignoring is easier.
Denials easier.
Complex problem solving takes effort.
Listen to the psychology podcast on the.
iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
On the latest episode of Next Question with me, Katie Couric, I sat down with Jasmine Crockett,
Democratic Representative of Texas.
She's holding out the fork for her party in one of the most conservative states in the
Union.
I think that ultimately, who will become the Democratic nominee for president will be someone
that has been out there and has shown that they won't allow themselves to be punched and just
say thank you. Like, they will punch
back. Listen to next question
with me, Katie Couric on the IHeart
Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or
wherever you get your podcasts.
If a baby is giggling in the
back seat, they're probably happy.
If a baby is crying in the backseat,
they're probably hungry.
But if a baby is sleeping in the
back seat, will you
remember they're even there?
When you're distracted, stressed, or
not usually the one who drives them, the
chances of forgetting them in the back seat are
much higher. It can happen to anyone. Parked cars get hot fast and can be deadly. So get in the
habit of checking the back seat when you leave. The message from NHTSA and the ad council.
Hello everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Bachelor Happy Hour. This is a very exciting episode
because we have the announcement, the exclusive Golden Bachelor cast. I should say it should
have reversed that and said whatever. You guys get the point. Golden Bachelor.
Bachelor is here. We have their bios. We have their headshots. We're going to talk about
all them. And we're going to let you know more about the cast. We're very excited for this
season. Everyone we've talked to is very excited for it. We think it's going to be great.
Gary just seems like such a wonderful guy. And can't wait to actually watch it. It is
premiering Thursday, September 28th at 8.7 Central on ABC. And then you can stream it
the next day on Hulu. And it is right before the season premiere of Bachelor in Paradise.
be a big night this fall. Yeah. Yeah, we're going to be staying at no plans on Thursday. Unless
you want to stream it the next day on Hulu. Yeah, then you could. You go out on Thursday stream on
Friday. Wow. That wasn't even, uh, that worked perfectly for Hulu. Okay. So far, what are you
most excited for for Golden Bachelor? Hmm. I just think like they're going to have such a
diverse range of stories and backgrounds. I think, you know, we've seen years of 20 to
30-year-olds falling in love and these people have just experienced so much more life.
So we're just going to hear so many like new storylines that we've never heard of before
and like new backstories to these women.
Yeah.
I'm assuming that all of them are probably wise and emotionally intelligent and I love to see when.
And I hope some of them aren't.
And I want to see when they argue with each other how that actually sounds.
Because you know it's going to be very like.
it's going to be different it's going to be like the same it's going to be very passive aggressive
but in a very strategic way you think yeah you don't think they're just going to like outright yell at
each other i think you're going to get some of that but then i think you're going to get like the
the real like the real veterans that are just like i'm going to i'm going to i'm going to get her
cut you deep yeah and she's not even going to know it's happening when it's happening
wow you have high expectations for these women's ability to insult one another yeah yeah i do
We're very excited for two different things on this show.
I just feel like, yeah, like when I, if I was going back on the show in my 70s, like, yeah, I'd be, I'd be going after people.
Yeah, well, hopefully they're also going after Gary because this is a show about finding love.
Yeah, no.
And I think I do, I hope, I think, I think it's going to happen.
I think it is going to happen too.
I also think so.
How do you feel about Gary so far?
I mean, what's not to love?
I feel like at this point, I have nothing new to say about Gary because I haven't.
learned anything new about Gary really from well at this point we know he is a lovable
handsome a little cheesy yeah guy which is fine but we definitely there's athletic he's an activity man
there's there has to be a a more risque side to Gary that we haven't seen yet and that's what
I'm excited to see I think right now a lot of the promos which have been so good and so freaking
high quality like that one clip of him and his family in that house I was like the
is stunning. This looks like it's out of architectural digest.
Yeah, you did say that. But I do think they're playing him off as this like, sweet, cute,
lovable seven-year-old man who doesn't know how to text or use social media. But like,
come on, Gary. Like, Gary's going to be a makeout star. I'm calling it now.
I'm saying like Gary, I think he kisses three plus women on night one.
I think Gary needs to lose the nice guy act. And I think eventually, eventually that curtain's
going to be pulled. So how many women do you think he kisses on night one?
I'm going three.
Wow, I was going to say three.
Really? All right. That's our guest. Three women.
But yeah, and I think they're marketing it very well. I mean, we're seeing it all the time.
I just saw the, did you see the clip art for him in the actual gold suit?
Yes, which I love with the gold background. Yeah, I love all the images for it.
How do you feel about me in a gold suit?
Depends on the event, but I think, I think no.
Yeah. I never, I never, I've pictured myself in many situations in a,
gold suit's not one of them yeah but gary it works because he's blonde and he's got like you know
gold undertones he's the golden bat he's the first i wonder if that was something they considered
when they picked him like hmm this guy's gonna look really good in gold i think yeah yeah yeah
yeah for sure for sure he looks great in gold he looks gold yeah he's he's a golden man yeah um okay
should we um we have the the bios you want to pull them up yep i'm gonna pull up the face sheet
so I could get a good look at what I'm looking.
Also, like, you know, we don't know everything,
and these are just short little bios,
so we're going to have fun with it, you know, some of it.
Yes, just to preface, like, obviously these are just the bios.
We're not, like, we're just, it's just for fun.
We're having fun here.
We're just having fun with it.
We only have these bios to go off of.
So maybe we'll say something about one of these women that's not true,
and then we'll learn that we were wrong about them when the show comes to light.
Okay.
Okay. First one I'm seeing is Anna.
Anna. Is that your first stuff? Okay.
That's what I got too. Let's go.
All right. Anna. Burnett, 61 from Summit, New Jersey, retired nutritionist, which I always have thought to be a very cool and fun career. Anna is a woman of the world. She's traveled to over 20 countries. Three daughters loves hiking and skiing. She's adventurous, confident, emotionally intelligent. Oh, she's looking.
for an adventurous, kind, confident, sensitive, emotionally intelligent man.
She loves family.
She loves foraging for mushrooms and plants.
Where does she live?
She lives in NJ's New Jersey, right?
Yeah.
My Canadian is showing, guys.
I shouldn't be responsible for dissecting me.
Where does she go in New Jersey foraging for mushrooms?
And learning about new herds and plants.
Maybe she has like a garden.
Yeah.
Where she lives near a woodsy area.
Yeah.
Did you say she's 61?
She's 61.
So I think that that's probably like one of the youngest women.
Yes, I would think so, if not the youngest.
And then her fun facts are she spends her Sundays at the local farmer's market,
which adds up.
She loves to cook.
She likes to forage.
When Anna dives with sharks, she goes cagedless.
Does that feel like an innuendo or is it just me reading into that?
Yeah, I think you're right.
Otherwise, that's crazy.
Anna loves anything dark chocolate especially lava cake a lot of food stuff
I feel like if you were the golden bachelor this woman would stand out too from her bio
she loves to travel she loves food yeah no I like her really I like her a lot
she's beautiful yeah I think um just by the looks and the sound of it I think she could be there
for a while all right on to the next Anna great start I like her I actually think that she
and Gary could definitely have a connection April April's giving like
housewives. April's giving
very, like her photo is,
she's, I would look at it and be like, this is a housewife.
Well, honestly, all of them are kind of given housewives.
No, but she looks like he looks like he looks like hell of rich in this photo.
Yeah.
Like she's dripping gold jewelry.
She's got the chunky necklace.
Like, she literally looks like like she'd be out for dinner with Lisa Vanderpump.
Yeah.
Right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I love it.
And if this was like a Pixar Disney movie, she's, she's the other golden, the golden person.
What?
What do you mean?
Well, you're like, Gary looks golden.
Like she also looks.
Oh, yes, yes.
I know what you mean.
Like, she looks like.
I just pictured it animated for some reason.
And they would both be straight gold.
Yeah.
Maybe that's because you got me watching Frozen for the first time.
I know.
But you didn't pay attention enough to really enjoy it and capture the magic.
It was rough for me.
It was rough.
All right.
April.
Age 65.
Okay.
She is from Port St.
Lucia.
Port St.
Lucy.
Fort St.
Lucia.
I shouldn't have been in charge of reading these.
I don't know any American geography.
Lucy Florida we could be pronouncing that wrong but oh well
therapist is her occupation okay so emotionally intelligent I would assume
and skimming through her bio she's ready to ride off into the sunset
she's a great cat she's got a zest for life
she's very close with her family she talks to them every single day
and make sure to says I love you every time they chat
dating since losing her partner has been very difficult so she's looking forward
to this experience.
When she's not spending time with her kids or grandkids,
she loves dancing to Taylor Swift,
watching Bridgerton and playing with her two dogs.
Oh, a woman after my own heart.
And she is not afraid of a thrill-seeking
and loves a good roller coaster.
Okay.
Fun facts.
April has a discreetly hidden tattoo of her nickname, Prash.
April dreams of writing a best-selling book.
And finding pennies out and about brings April so much joy.
I like her. I think she's going to, I think April, April's one of my, just, just off of bio and photo, she's one of my tops already.
She sounds fun. Like, her bio is giving like, I'm fun, I'm exciting. I'm upbeat. I could also be your therapist.
And I could also be your therapist. And I go sit down and have a serious chat with you. Okay. Love it. All right. On to the next.
I'm going to probably have to read a little less of these two. I know. It's just so hard because there's so much good stuff in these bios.
I want to read it all, but I'll try to, I'll try to whiz through.
Okay.
Next is Christina.
Okay.
She is 73.
How old is Gary?
71.
Okay.
Gary 71.
Christina is 73.
So Christina could teach Gary a few things.
Yeah.
She got a few years on him.
And she is from.
She is from Sarah Madre, California.
Okay.
So she's, I don't know.
We don't know if they're from there.
That's where they live now.
That's their hometown.
Yeah, that's her hometown.
And she is a retired purchasing.
manager.
Okay.
So I don't know exactly what this means.
Does that mean she worked in fashion?
She's like a buyer?
She could, yeah.
She could be a buyer for anything, really, anything that has to do with purchasing.
Yeah, I need a little more detail about that.
But she's retired, so it doesn't matter.
That's true.
That's true.
Actually, wait a second.
She, so April's bio said therapist.
So I wonder if she's still actively working then.
Could be.
Because Anna says she.
She's a retired nutritionist, and Christina said she's a retired purchasing manager.
So we got a few non-retirees out here.
Yeah.
Okay.
So, Christina is the happiest she has ever been and hoping to find someone.
She calls this chapter in life her go-go years and not her slow-go years.
She is extremely proud of her career.
And while she is retired, she's working her way up.
Working her way up, the corporate ladder without a college degree is one of her biggest accomplishments.
She loves playing pickleball, listening to Paul McCarthy in horseback riding, and she has plans to go skydiving for a second time with her oldest grandson.
Prasina's first concert ever was The Beatles in 1964.
She loves a good dude ranch.
What is that?
I'm Dr. Scott Barry Kaufman, host of the Psychology Podcast.
Here's a clip from an upcoming conversation about exploring human potential.
I was going to schools to try to teach.
teach kids these skills and I get eye rolling from teachers or I get students who would be like,
it's easier to punch someone in the face.
When you think about emotion regulation, like you're not going to choose an adaptive strategy
which is more effortful to use unless you think there's a good outcome as a result of it if
it's going to be beneficial to you.
Because it's easy to say like go you, go blank yourself, right?
It's easy.
It's easy to just drink the extra beer.
It's easy to ignore to suppress seeing a colleague who's bothering you and just like walk the other
way avoidance is easier ignoring is easier denial is easier drinking is easier yelling screaming is easy
complex problem solving meditating you know takes effort listen to the psychology podcast on the iHeart
radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts so in the last month the might as touch network
beat rogan tucker carlson candace owens charlie kirk and ben shapiro all combined conservative
can have a major political impact.
But the Micellis brothers, three siblings with a serious media strategy,
are building an alternative to that.
On the latest episode of Next Question with Katie Couric,
I sat down with the brothers behind the Midas Touch Network
to talk about how they built a progressive media powerhouse from the ground up,
why audience interaction is the key to political influence
and what it takes to fight disinformation at scale,
one download at a time.
should be focusing on the issues that actually occupy a lot of the mental space in Americans' minds
but are filled with conspiracies, and we should fill it with the truth and solutions.
Listen to next question with me, Katie Couric on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
And here's Heather with the weather.
Well, it's beautiful out there, sunny and 75, almost a little chilly in the shade.
Now, let's get a read on the inside of your car.
It is hot.
You've only been parked a short time, and it's already 99 degrees in there.
Let's not leave children in the back seat while running errands.
It only takes a few minutes for their body temperatures to rise, and that could be fatal.
Cars get hot, fast, and can be deadly.
Never leave a child in a car.
A message from Nitsa and the ad council.
All right, on to the next, but honestly, I was told that we should be skimming through these bios,
and I'm just way to invest it
and I'm reading every single line
because it's way too hard to narrow down
the best parts of these women.
I knew you were going to do that.
I am not a concise person in this moment.
So I'm going to hand it over to Joe.
He will take over skimming through these bios.
If you want to read the whole thing,
you can go online and do so.
But here you go, Joe.
All right.
I'm just going to look at the photos.
That's more my speed.
I'm good at rattling things off.
Let's go.
Okay, who is next?
Up next, we have Edith.
Just from Edith, her photo, I'm like,
Edith is, I like Edith.
Yeah?
Yeah.
She's giving like silver fog.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She got like a really warm smile too.
And her arms are kind of jacked.
Like I feel like she's super fit.
She is 60.
She, her hometown is Downey, California.
She's a retired realtor.
Just to give you a few little things in her bio.
She's a hopeless romantic, looking for a partner.
family is everything and there's nothing she loves more than spending time with her kids and her
grandkids edith's giving if she was 28 right now she'd be on selling sunset okay so yeah yes yeah
that's great great call also here's a fun fact um which is kind of important edith doesn't do cold
period ever period um just where gary live is that cold Iowa Iowa gets cold
I think it's cold and Edith will not do it.
All right.
But you know what?
Maybe she'll do it for love.
Yeah.
Honestly, she probably won't though and I can respect that because I'm not into the cold either.
Okay.
Next up, we have Ellen.
Ellen is 71, which is Gary's age.
Her hometown is Delray Beach, Florida.
And she is a retired teacher.
Ellen, just by her photo, I'm like, yeah, she looks like a teacher.
She's the full package.
She's ready for love.
Retired teacher smile.
lights up a room and she wears her heart on her sleeve.
Gotta be careful with that.
The heart on your sleeve thing?
Yeah, I feel like that's a double-edged sword.
Yep.
And she dreams of going to Africa on a safari.
I could see them going on a safari.
I could see them doing that.
Maybe they just sent Charity and Danton to Greece.
So maybe if it's Ellen, they send them to South Africa.
Okay.
Next stop.
Faith.
Okay. Faith.
I was going to say, already.
Do you know? Do you know?
Wait, is Faith the one that you wanted me to guess who I think she looks like?
Yes.
So just so you guys know, before we started this podcast, I said to Joe, there's a woman in here that looks like someone, like an actress.
Like so much like this actress.
And Joe's incredible with faces.
So I want to know if he'll figure it out.
But I don't know if he watched the show that she's like known for.
Or at least that I know her from.
Well, okay.
You know this actress.
I just don't know how well you know this actress.
Oh, shoot.
She's on my phone one sec.
Okay.
I'm going to pull up a side by side.
Faith is 60.
She lives in Benton City, Washington,
and she's a high school teacher,
so she's still a teacher.
Faith is much more than meets the eyes.
She's very attractive.
She looks.
Faith to me comes across very confident in this photo.
And I don't know who you're talking about.
If I'm going to guess,
I'm going to probably say she reminds me a little bit of Katie Siegel.
Yes.
Really?
Is that it?
No, not a little bit, Joe.
She, look at this.
She is literally Katie Siegel's twin.
A little.
No, they look so much alike.
Like, oh my God.
Like, I literally thought it was her.
It's crazy to me.
And I love Katie Siegel.
So like, or Sagal.
Is it Katie Sagal or Katie Siegel?
I don't know.
I saw your text come across.
That's how, yeah, so I cheated.
You don't even know who it is.
Okay.
Um, next up we have Jeannie. Jeannie. Jeannie or Jenny? Jeannie. I think it's Jeannie. Jeannie. She is, uh, 65 lives in Estelle Springs, Tennessee. And she is a retired project manager. She is, everyone seems to be a hopeless romantic. She's a hopeless romantic. She looks up to people like Oprah, Dolly Parton, and Princess Diana. Um, fun fact. She is a certified.
scuba diver. Interesting. Her favorite color is neon, which is crazy. Also, why can I find her photo?
Let me see what she looks like. I'll show you. Jeannie. Okay. Jeannie. Yeah, for some reason,
I didn't have it on here. So we'll see. Her and Ellen are given like similar energy.
We'll see about Jeannie. Okay. Here we got. We have Joan.
Joan, dead ass, looks like an ex supermodel.
And not even X, like a current supermodel.
Like, she's got a rock and bod.
She's got incredible hair.
Like, she's stunning.
She's 60.
She's from Rockville, or she lives in Rockville, Maryland.
And she's a private school administrator.
So she also seems to still be working.
Joan has four kids and two grandkids and is looking for love again after losing her husband of 32 years to pancreatic cancer.
Very sad.
Joan enjoys historical museum.
Jones loves dancing after a couple glasses of wine.
And her favorite food is a juicy, a big juicy burger.
A big juicy burger.
Wow.
All right, Joan.
We also love that, Joan.
I think Joan's going to be there for a minute.
Okay.
Kathy.
Kathy is 70 resides in Austin, Texas.
Retired educational consultant.
She, let's say.
see this dynamic lady says i am so ready to show the world that a 70 year old woman has energy
passion and can truly enjoy life love that kathy um she also this you want to hear a fun fact
yeah she's obsessed with christmas no way yeah i'm also obsessed with christmas joe sent me two
christmas reels today on instagram just and the christmas reel is just like twinkly lights in a tree and
just pure Christmas magic and he sends them to me all year round.
You know, now that you said that the one, the one lady was giving housewives,
they're all giving housewives to me.
Yeah, but April's really giving housewife.
So is this, so it's this woman.
My housewife, just to be clear, I mean like the real housewives of XYZ.
Yeah, like the Bravo show.
Well, that's, yeah, but thanks for clarifying.
This one really is as well.
Leslie, 64, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She's a fitness instructor.
Love that.
She has run 10 marathons and is looking for her running buddy for life.
And she also hates mice.
That's fair.
Yeah, that is fair.
I too don't like mice.
And that was one thing that Gary said to us is that I want somebody that wants to, like, work out.
Yes.
He was big on, like, someone who's active.
Yeah, very active and athletic.
So keep your eye on Leslie.
Okay, next up, we got Maria. She is 60. We're getting a lot of the 60-year-old. 60.
T-neck, New Jersey, health and wellness director.
She has a beautiful smile and a personality to match.
Maria is a firecracker that's ready to find a spark.
She does have a beautiful smile.
Maria has never gone paintballing, but really wants to try.
Don't do it, Maria.
When Maria isn't working, she is playing tennis, pickleball, and board games.
All right.
So Maria plays pickleball.
Gary's obsessed with Pickleball.
She loves Valentine's Day.
We will see.
There's not a lot of people that love Valentine's Day.
Yeah.
Yeah, she's like the first.
Who loves Valentine's Day?
I don't know.
All right.
Marina, she's 60, lives in L.A.
She's an educator.
A lot of educators.
Yeah.
Very attractive woman.
She also just, like, there's certain photos where I'm like this,
she comes across very confident looking.
I don't know if it's,
whatever it is a great smile
Marina is looking for her hair
Marina is looking for her travel buddy for life
and is hoping our golden bachelor is her perfect match
fun fact Maria has not one

all right three master's degrees
that's a lot of schooling wow smart lady
good for her

In sitcoms, when someone has a problem, they just blurt it out and move on.
Well, I lost my job and my parakeet is missing.
How is your day?
But the real world is different.
Managing life's challenges can be overwhelming.
So, what do we do?
We get support.
The Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Ad Council have mental health resources available for you at loveyourmindtay.org.
That's loveyourmindtay.org.
See how much further you can go when you take care of.
your mental health.
Okay.
Next on the block, we have Nancy, 60.
A lot of 60-year-olds.
Alexandria, Virginia, retired interior designer.
Love that, love that, Nancy.
She looks like an interior designer.
Yeah, she does look like one.
Yeah.
Interesting.
Okay.
I love her dress, too.
She loves to play golf.
It's good with Gary, walking her golden doodle max, and watching
college basketball. I wouldn't have college. She likes college basketball. I wouldn't have
expected that. She's a Bruce Springsteen fan and she loves a good rom-com. Okay. So do we.
Yeah. Enough. Wow. That we really hit the, we are, we are rolling on the, on the 60 year olds.
Is everyone 60? I don't, not other one. No, no. We have a few 70s, 71, 73. Okay. We have
Natasha. She's 60, New York City. She's a pro aging coach and midlife speaker. What does that mean? A pro
aging coach? I don't know, but I could see myself needing one. Someone to coach someone through
their aging. Yeah, through midlife crises. I feel like she's like actually neat. They should hire her
for this show. Maybe that's why she did it. Maybe she's not even looking. No, she's passionate and
an energetic woman who is ready to find Mr. Wright. She loves
going to her local farmers market and taking walks around Central Park.
Well, one day we may run into her because we also like walking around Central Park.
She also wants Bell Bottoms to make a comeback.
They did.
They did last year.
You missed it.
Come on, Natasha.
All right.
Pamela.
Pamela so far is our oldest.
She's 75.
Aurora, Illinois.
She has retired salon owner.
And she is ready to see.
say goodbye to her single days. She loves a backyard barbecue and can't get enough of Judge Judy
in her life. Oh my gosh. My nanny was obsessed with Judge Judy. Really? Oh my gosh. Like anytime I
hear Judge Judy, I always think of her. She loved it. She would sit and do her puzzles and watch
Judge Judy. But one thing we know about salon like hairstylists, I feel like they're all very
chatty because you have to be like a good conversationalist. You have to be personal. For sure. Yeah.
Good call. Yeah. Okay. Next up is Patty. She is
70, Liz in Durham, North Carolina. She's retired real estate sales. And she is also
former bachelor Matt James's mom. And that was the season you were on. So she's the first one
to have so far that we know of that has a connection to the show is, is that an advantage?
I think it could be an advantage or a detriment. Because I think I'm sure Matt gave her some
advice. Rachel, too, probably, from, you know, what it's like to be a contestant, what you can
expect. But I also think going into these experiences a little naive can sometimes be a
blessing. Like, you know, you learn as you go. So, yeah, we'll see. But I think it'll be, I don't,
I don't know her. You don't know her as much as she has a tie to the franchise and our former
bachelor mat. But she seems lovely. She's an attractive woman. And I don't know. I think,
I think she could go places. I would love to see her find a
connection with Gary. I think that would be so fun. Okay. Next up, Peggy. She's 69. She lives in East Haven,
Connecticut. So we got some pizza over there. She's a dental hygienist. Bio. Petty, Peggy is incredible.
Oh. All right. Let's go. Yeah, Peggy. She's got a great smile. So it makes sense, she's a dental hygienist.
She would love to be Jennifer Lopez for a day. Wow. Okay.
She also is a go-karting enthusiast.
Interesting.
That's cool.
Renee, 67, from Chicago, Illinois.
And she looks like, I see, I see Renee.
I see her a head chat.
I'm like, yes, she does look like she's from Chicago.
She was a former Chicago honeybeer, which is, I believe, an NFX bear cheerleader.
Ooh.
She, what does this say here?
from being a former NFL cheerleader
to writing two books.
Interesting.
I don't want to see what those books are.
We don't have the names here.
I need them to start including
these people's Instagram handles
or Facebook handles
or something in their bios.
Next up is Sandra.
Sandra is 75.
So she's one of our oldest.
Doraville, Georgia.
And she's a retired executive assistant.
She's ready to find her one,
her dream man is handsome sensitive and intelligent and this cruise lover hopes he'll he's ready to
travel the world with her i love how everyone wants to travel i love that um sandra has 32 favorite
nfl teams aka she loves them all okay um next up we have susan susan susan is kind of giving chris jenna
yeah i knew i knew i knew you were going to say that yeah but she is she is like with the hair and like
Just the makeup, the necklaces, like everything about it screams Chris Jenner to me.
She is 66, lives in Aston, Pennsylvania, and is a wedding efficient.
No way.
Perfect for The Bachelor.
That is so cool.
Oh my gosh.
I can already, her entrance is 100% going to be like I could marry us right now if you want.
She's a great golfer and has dreams of having lunch with Chris Jenner.
Wow.
Wow.
Really?
Yeah.
Okay.
Next up, we have Sylvia 64.
lives in L.A. Public Affairs consultant. She's a total boss girl. That's cool. Yes, girl.
Those aren't my words. She is a proud UCLA alum. She loves still support in school, enjoys lifting
small weights and is famous for her pistachio cake, which you can never eat. I also enjoy lifting
small weights. I do not enjoy pistachio cake because it would kill me because I am allergic,
but I'm sure it's delicious. And then we have our last, but not least.
Teresa, 69, Shrewsbury, Jersey.
We have a lot of New Jersey.
A lot of New Jersey.
Financial services.
She is a gorgeous catch with a huge heart, very close to her children and her grandchildren,
and nothing she loves more than seeing them all thrive.
She loves to sing alone in a car.
And Teresa loves 70s rock, both soft and hard.
Oh, wow.
Teresa.
All right.
You crazy girl.
And that wraps them all.
So what do you think, Serena?
How are we feeling?
I actually really liked these bios.
Me too.
And the fun facts.
I feel like I actually got a vibe for who these people are.
And I also think the photos because they have like, I don't know, they're all in black,
but like they're all kind of different photos.
Like I feel like their personalities really shine through versus like the standard
head shots.
I think so too
I think so
I'm excited to watch all of these women
do you want to give a prediction
yeah
let's do what we did for charity season
and after night one we'll each pick four people
so you want to wait till night one
I think we wait till night one what do you think
you want to make a prediction right now
no I think we wait till night one
I think right now for this podcast
let's just pick one that's going to be in our top four
is that fair
kind of just based off of a little
of what we know so
So one of the people that you pick has to be in your top four.
Okay.
Is that fair?
I think that's fair.
I think that's fair.
And they have to be different from each other?
I mean, if we pick the same one, we pick the same one, you could pick first.
Okay.
Wait, give me a second.
I really want to think about this because I am going to go with, I'm going to go with Anna.
I should go with Joan but I'm not gonna I'm gonna go with Nancy
you're gonna go with Nancy yeah Nancy's who I'm going with
okay there's definitely like there was definitely five or six women
that I was torn between though yeah there's definitely a handful or two
that I was like um based on the bio and the look and what we know about Gary like
I could see this I think there's gonna be I think honestly after like seeing everything I'm
like this guy's probably gonna
have multiple connections his whole he's probably going to fall in love more than one woman in
um it's going to be interesting i think that the one thing i really actually want to know now
um is location who's going to be willing to make the move that is definitely going to be something
or is gary willing to make the move yeah which he might be i feel like he could be yeah because
he said like he he bought that house with his late wife yeah and i don't believe that's where they're
from necessarily in terms of where his like kids and grandkids are.
So he might be flexible.
I can see him live in.
He's a golden boy.
He can live in California for sure.
I could definitely see Gary in California.
I could also see him in New Jersey.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's a lot of pickleball out here now.
Yeah.
Yeah, for sure.
Well, okay.
That's wrap.

On the latest episode of Next Question with me, Katie Couric,
I sat down with Jasmine Crockett, Democratic Representative of Texas.
She's holding out the fork for her party in one of the most conservative states in the Union.
I think that ultimately, who will become the Democratic nominee for president will be someone that has been out there
and has shown that they won't allow themselves to be punched and just say thank you.
Like, they will punch back.
