Welcome back to Golden Hour. I'm Kathy. And of course, I'm Susan. Who else would I be?
I don't you get tired of saying that. I know. We could-
I'm Kathy, I'm Susan. We could say I'm Ike and I'm Mike. I don't know.
Freaking frack. Who did they call us after our videos this week?
Just so you guys know, in case you didn't see it on social media, both Kathy and Nancy were at my house and we had a staycation here at the pool.
we had so much fun
I just want you to know
Susan picked me up because I judged the Miss New Jersey pageant
and that was a blast
and so Susan came to Ocean City to pick me up
as soon as we land in her backyard
she got me moving furniture moving plants
but her yard her pool
I'm telling you absolutely beautiful
I try to you know why right
because I bought an extra umbrella
because you guys don't like the sun
and one that could be moved around
even. That giant one is only for one section.
Susan, we could do a whole podcast on this umbrella.
I told Susan to move it, which necessitated moving a plant.
She didn't want to move the plant.
Oh, please. They ended up buying me two new trees.
I was dragging ferns around the pool, like, not ferns, palms.
And they're heavy.
Oh, please.
So we moved furniture.
We did it all.
So Nancy comes.
I moved the plant, finally got Susan to agree to move the umbrella.
where it should be, where it still is, I might add, and to move her hybiscis.
We move it around now.
I say, yes, Susan looks really good.
Even though I thought she was missing another hibiscus, but I didn't dare push my life.
Matchy.
But I didn't have to push my luck.
It's because the deck is so big out there, so you need two, one on each of.
Oh, please.
I have so much plan.
So Nancy rolls in the day after I get there, and Nancy's out there, we're saying how
pretty it looks.
And Nancy, you can't make this up.
Nancy's like, Susan, you need to have another hibiscus.
I'm like, hallelujah, Nancy.
And it had to be the same color flower, which we could not find.
Therefore, we now have, what are they called?
It's beautiful.
It begins with an M.
I know, I can't think of it.
Mara Villa or something.
I don't know.
But here's the thing that everyone needs to know.
If you were driving in Pennsylvania and you saw a Mercedes with two hybiscis,
hanging out of the back of the car with it starting of the convertible with it starting to rain and nancy
and i shielding our heads from the rain and susan say no worry about it we're almost there that was us
we had a blast so susan thank you thank you thank you again and now gosh i loved it i loved it and
and we got a lot a lot hundreds of comments about it really is true we really are friends and this
we thank bachelor for all of this because we would have
never met each other. This late in life, you don't get to make best friends. That's true. And I have
to say the weather, they were making fun of me because we went swimming in the pool.
She was freezing. It was 92. Okay. It was 81. And they said to me, just get wet. Just get wet and
swim some laps. You'll warm up. My teeth were chattering. No, she was turning blue. It was
unbelievable. So God is good because now I'm going to be.
to go back to Philadelphia this week because they're going to have, I saw it on the news this
morning. Susan, you're about to have record the hottest temperatures. Oh, 100 degrees. I know. And humid.
It's going to feel like 115 degrees this week in Philly. And Stella and I, my little granddaughter,
will be in the water. The entire time, if not, will be in the house. Well, we had a great time and I
can't wait for us all to get together again. It really was a blast. All right. We've had a big week other than
having a great time in Philly.
We've had a big weekend Bachelor Nation News,
so let's get right into it.
First one.
We definitely have.
Okay.
Sarah Harron worries.
Her family will always feel incomplete
and debates having another baby.
As we all know, she lost her little Oliver
with just, what, 24 days old, I think he was.
I think at 24 weeks.
She was 24 weeks pregnant.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm sorry.
And she has a set of twins.
They're adorable.
Yeah.
But she's really having a difficult time because she'll have to do the IVF.
And she said her girls can get in and out of the stroller now by themselves.
I totally get it, Sarah.
Why would you start again?
You have two beautiful children.
Well, since we both had three, you know, I get it.
But here's the thing.
She said she has two embryos left.
Yes.
And here's the thing that I find amazing, Sarah, that you've been, you said that the IVF journey is so traumatic.
And I've known other women who have gone through it.
And I'm sure it is traumatic.
And the fact that you don't feel like your family's complete and you want another child, here is the stunning part that I hope all of Batchelor Nation understands.
She was saying that she doesn't feel like their family will ever be fully complete because they've lost all of her.
that just touched my heart. You know, you never forget. You know that personally, Susan. You can't
replace a child either. Right. You can have more, but nothing will replace. No. And so we get it.
We get it. So speaking of more. Yes. Joan Bassas and Amy Kaplan welcome new grandbabies. You can see the
heartwarming photos online. The photos are so cute. They're so cute. Here's a thing. I think this is Amy Kaplan's
First grandchild.
She was on Mel's season, and this is her first grandchild.
Joan, on the other hand, had two granddaughters born like two days apart.
The same week, I think two days apart.
And her son is getting married.
Her fourth child, her last child is getting married at the end of the summer.
Maybe it's end of July, I'm not sure.
This summer, yeah.
But I said, geez, John.
She's got her hands full.
Well, she's hoping, she said that all, get this, because we were chatting about this,
she said that all three of her other children had a baby the first year they were married.
So she's hoping his son, her son and his soon-to-be wife are going to follow in the same steps.
So apparently two more grandchildren is not enough for jobs.
I love it.
And she's a great mom.
So she's just loving these babies.
And I'm hoping that we might get one more addition to a little.
our family. A little birdie told me that they might be trying. And my son saying, look, Jess,
if it doesn't happen this year, it's not happening. I'm getting old, Jess. So my daughter is trying to
get pregnant as well. And every, you know, we're just hoping for it because my, my granddaughter,
her daughter turned three in April. And she really wants to the time. Don't you think? Yeah.
Well, I'm just hoping it happens because, you know, Keeke, yesterday we went to the pool.
And I went down the slide with my three-year-old.
Were you cold, Kathy?
Actually, no, because it was about 95 here.
And the water was warm.
They have a heater.
So, no, I was very comfortable.
They heat the water in Texas?
That's insane.
Well, in the lap pool, they heat it.
It was fun.
I loved it.
Okay, what else we have on this?
Moving right along, let's talk a little about Hannah Brown.
I was surprised when I read that that she shared why she almost ended her engagement to her now
husband, Adam. So what it was, they were so perfect. They never argued that, and she was
concerned. Like, she didn't really know him. Yeah. When I read this article, I was like, wow,
how could it be that good and you're looking for trouble? But I get it. And now they communicate
about everything, which is our key word, right? Yeah. I'll tell you what I thought. When I, like,
I met Hannah, got to know her a little bit on Bachelor in Paradise last summer.
and I actually got to meet Adam because he came to spend a few days.
So when I read this article, I was like, damn, if she had ended the engagement and he was into older women, he'd be mine.
Right away, Kathy, one track, mine.
But let me just say, I think I love how honest Hannah is.
Yes, she's beautiful.
She said they still have things to work on and her mind was stuck on the what ifs.
You know, what if this happens?
What if that happens?
And I feel like when you, you know, when you.
you get engaged and you go into a marriage, if you're not thinking about the potential for
issues, you're not.
This is why I'm divorced.
I did not.
A couple things entered my mind and I just put it to the waist side.
I was in love, you know, everything's going to work out.
Yeah, well, we grow.
It has.
It has worked out for you.
Anyway, we are so glad that Hannah and Adam are doing well.
And I know that she's also on a journey to.
have a child. So, you know, hopefully we've got a whole bunch of babies being born in this,
in 20, 27. And we have one more. Yeah. Caitlin Bristow. Wait, is she funny or what?
Oh my God. I just love her. Wait, can I tell you, some of the producers in, I think it was when I was
in Paradise said that Caitlin should look at me in my behavior because she is going to, she's going
to be me when she gets older. And I thought, you know what my first thought was? Great. Why the
Hell couldn't I've looked like her when I was younger.
Yeah, right, right.
She reminds me of myself because she comes out with anything.
Like, she doesn't have a filter.
Yeah, well, maybe that's why they said to me.
I don't even know what that word means.
All right, well, anyway, she shares why she still wants Taylor, Frankie, Paul,
season to air and their unspoken bond.
The best quote out of this article is,
My Mess sees your mess.
Let's be messy together.
And I love that she is, and you and I, Susan, have said the,
the same thing. All the workers, the producers, the audio, the cameramen, everybody who put a lot of
work and effort and time away from families and all that. And they put their lives on the line.
And the guys that did the season. I mean, that's their first time. It's like us doing everything we did,
living in the mansion, doing all the meeting everybody, feeling, the emotions, the ride of emotions,
if you will, and then not being aired, nobody could see it, and you still can't talk about it.
Yeah.
You know, but I think it's coming, though, Kath.
Well, if you believe the news, it's coming soon.
And I will say to you, I did a few interviews with charity for Bachelor Happy Hour and met some of these guys.
And, oh, Susan, they are charming, really.
They are lovely, lovely guys.
I just know they were adorable.
I mean.
So anyway, that's a lot of news.
A lot of news.
You've heard the chaos.
Now you can see it.

Okay.
Now, today, we're going to be talking about finding the right person and how you know if they actually are the right person.
We're going to title this, Is Love Enough?
Okay, go ahead.
Okay.
All right, Kathy, I'm going to ask you a question and you could ask me some, okay?
Okay.
Is love enough to make a relationship last?
This answer is so obvious to me, but I think we're going to be.
I think we should play the guessing game.
What do you think I'm going to answer, Susan?
I'll answer it, but tell me what you think I'm going to say.
Do you think I'm going to say love is enough?
Well, if you're really in love, you work out the differences.
So yes, but it depends on what you're thinking about.
Like, not always.
But has my answer changed over the years?
No, you were going to guess, you were going to guess for me.
So you're saying love would be enough for me?
I think so.
Nope.
God, I love you.
But in here just when I thought you knew me.
Well, you know what?
It can't be because I love Dickie and I'm not with him.
Yeah.
I always love, but.
I think love, you know, it starts with infatuation.
You get to love.
I think there has to be, how long a list do you want?
There has to be respect.
I'm sorry, I'll take heat for this too.
you have to share values.
Some people, you have to share religious conviction.
I'm sorry, there has to be a similarity in backgrounds, financial, all those things.
There's a whole list.
Because marriage is, well, I'm saying marriage because you and I were married.
You know, a relationship, whatever.
I'm just going to use the word marriage.
Do you feel like your answer has changed over the years?
Like, did you think that at a young age when you were about that?
to get married? Well, remember, I got married out of the crib. Yes, I know. So I loved my husband.
And to your point, Susan, I still, even though he's gone, I still think about him and realize what a
great guy I had. And that's why it's so hard to find somebody new because you're not going to find
what you had. I'm not, but I'm not looking to replace him. So, but I'm curious because this happened.
you are divorced. You said you still love Dickie, but you're not. So what is something when you married
him that you thought love would overcome? Like, did you think love would overcome everything? Because
you married him pretty young as well. Yeah, I really did. Because when you fall in love, no matter
what they do, like remember, we talked about this before, I didn't see red flags. I saw flags.
They were definitely red, but I ignored them.
so let me ask you were you uh because for me it changed over time were you compatible with dicky
you know what um something that i learned that i no longer do yeah is because i end up resenting
i hold things in because i didn't want to be a pain in the butt you know what i mean nag nag nag
that. He did quite a few things that, and I would hold it in. I would bite my tongue, bite my
tongue, and over the years, you end up resenting them for things. But when I did try to point out
some things that would really drive me crazy or didn't work for me, like he's a great guy,
don't get me wrong, but he spoke at me, not to me. You've said that to me before. He does it.
He does it to the kids. He does it to everybody. He's chilled a little now, but he doesn't mean any harm.
It's just him, and it drove me insane.
So, okay, so I'm hearing.
So do you think loving someone is more important than compatibility?
Because I'm going to tell you, you can love.
You have to be compatible.
Yeah, yeah.
You have to.
You can love somebody all day long.
But if you're not compatible, you don't do fun things together.
What, you know, what do you have?
Well, I don't know.
Again, you know, I was married.
almost 46 years, I think over time, the love changes, you know, the sexual, it's not the, it's
the intimacy still there. Everything looks different, right? But I think as you get older,
for me, having that person to laugh with and do fun things with and have great conversation
is much more important than when you're younger and it's that, that teddy bear love.
And it just feels so different to me. But I mean, you need to have love.
but the compatibility is very, very important.
Kathy, do you think two people can love each other so deeply but still be wrong for each other?
Yes, I think you and Dickie.
I mean, you just said that.
Yeah.
No, uh, what do you mean wrong for each other?
Well, meaning it's not...
If they're in love, why are they so wrong for each other?
Well, wait a minute.
Loving each other deeply, there's romantic love and there's the kind of love that,
embraces respect and you know you know my friend in california won't mention his name he and i dated
for a very short period of time i love him deeply i care about him hell he had back surgery i took
care of him for two weeks i mean but and we're but we're not right for each other so you're compatible
uh to some extent we are i mean he's a great guy and i love having him in my life but when you're
talking about love, compatibility, and a relationship, our relationship is much better as friends.
What would make somebody wrong for each other that they love each other? What would make them
wrong for the other person? A lot of things, how they spend money, how they live their life,
if they drink too much, do drugs, too much, you know, whatever. In other words, that's where
it comes down to me for compatibility. If I have to sit and tell the guy I'm with, you know,
you're up. It doesn't have to be a dramatic thing. What if the guy you're with, Susan,
wants to get up every morning, and I've dated guys who do, 4.30 in the morning and be in bed at
night, that's not going to work for me. I was kind of like that, not quite those hours, but
I, but here's the thing I think. I think so much of finding the right person has to do with timing,
right place, right time, right person, wrong time. Do you agree with that? I think you do. You do.
Yeah, timing's everything.
But you can't plan it.
You cannot plan it.
It just happens, right?
All right, Kathy, do you think love can survive without trust or respect?
Capital N.
We agree on that one, ladies and gentlemen.
I mean, how, I think a love, again, sort of love,
some, a love, you know, there's different kinds of love, right?
I think you can cherish someone in a relationship that you've had,
but I can't be with you because I don't trust you.
I don't respect you anymore.
But you can still love what you've had together and feel a deep emotional connection to that person,
but know that it's not going to work.
But here's my question for you, Deary.
We and you and I talk about this, I think we talked about it, with Nancy,
is I feel like at my age,
I love, like the trip we just had with you and Nancy,
we had so much fun.
You and I travel, we have a blast together.
I'm not sure for me at this point in my life,
I'm curious to your opinion,
if friendship is enough or do I need romance?
I don't know.
I want to say I don't need romance,
but then I miss it.
I have to have it.
It's just as important as friendship.
Well, friendship with a guy or friendship with women?
With a guy.
This is about love, being in love with you.
I'm not in love with you. I love with you.
Well, there you go.
We could just end this podcast right now.
Do you hear that all?
I'm sorry, our friendship.
We don't do romance.
Okay, so here's one more for you, Susan.
Looking back on your fabulous life, did you ever mistake chemistry for love?
Yeah, probably so.
Although, that's a hard one because I truly did love that person at that time.
And it was chemistry.
We had fabulous chemistry, but I thought it was love.
I love a lot of people.
I'm a lover, Kathy.
Okay, honey, bunny, I know and I love you to pieces,
but I think you're missing the question here.
Let me try it a different way.
Okay.
When you first meet someone, and I know the answer is because I know you,
But for the rest of Bachelor Nation, when you meet a guy, I've seen you in action.
You're like, oh, my God, Kathy.
You see me in action with one person, one.
Do you know how many I've had?
And they're all the same story.
So let me finish the story.
Susan meets a guy.
And it's like, oh, my God, I just, I can feel it.
I can feel the chemistry.
He's the one. I feel it.
Yeah.
That's chemistry.
Yes.
You, unless you believe at love at first sight and this podcast isn't long enough to go on that route,
you miss, I think you mistake chemistry for love because the chemistry is so strong for you that you dive head first, feet first, everything in.
Always, always.
Do you remember me?
And then you start thinking it's love, but really it was just chemistry.
Do you remember me once saying, I don't know if I've ever really been in love then?
I've made that statement.
And I have loved so many people to me.
It's love.
But later in life now that I'm very golden,
love is not just chemistry.
Love is given up yourself to keep somebody else happy.
You go without to make them happier.
That was explained to me by this 90-year-old man one time.
And I said, how did you make your marriage last this?
this many years. It was like 55 years, 60 years or whatever. And I was really curious. Like,
how did you do that? He said, I, my goal in life was to make her happy. I think I'm too selfish.
Well, and that's fair. But I think that giving so much of yourself to make another person happy
is a symbol of love. It's one of the ingredients of love. And don't get me wrong. I did.
But I did do that.
I think when you say I love to be in love, and then we're going to end on this, we're going to move into our golden hotline.
But I think you mistake chemistry.
You love that excitement, those butterflies.
And you mistake chemistry for love.
That's just my humble picture.
Show me a human being in this world that doesn't love that feeling.
But that's not love.
That's chemistry.
That's not love that can sustain a person.
So how would you describe love then?
What is love?
I think love is for me.
Love is such a deep commitment.
It's wanting to make the other person happy.
It's sharing goals.
It's a package.
But chemistry is a part of love.
But I think you say, I'm in love.
No, you're in lust.
Chemistry is not love.
Well, thank you, Dr. Kathy.
I know.
But I love you, and I hope you keep falling in lost.
I'm not paying for this visit, okay.
No, but I bought, I got you a plant when I was at your house, so I need a haircut.
Okay, we're moving into the golden outline.
Each week, we answer questions from listeners and give them our expert, and it is expert, Susan, golden advice.
So I think you should take the first one.
You've heard the chaos.

This one's from Jane from Bridgeport.
I've been dating someone who I really like, but he's very active on social media and constantly posting.
liking and engaging with other girls' content.
He's never given me a reason not to trust him,
but it makes me feel a little uncomfortable.
I don't want to seem controlling,
but I also don't want to ignore my feelings.
How do you handle this?
Well, my first question for Jane is,
are you also on social media?
Do you post?
Like, that's our life.
You know, so for me, I don't think anything of it
because we do it regularly.
If I weren't on it as much and saw that,
maybe I would want to know more, you know, or question it.
What do you think, Kathy?
Well, I agree with everything you said,
but you left out one point that I think is important,
which is he's engaging,
but he's engaging with other girls, women's content.
And guys are on social media.
Well, I disagree.
I see a ton of men on social media.
But what I'm saying is...
Remember.
She's noticing the women.
Maybe he's doing it with men, too.
Who knows?
Right.
So I think that if you are concerned,
it depends how he's engaging.
You know, if he's commenting on a girl in a bikini saying,
love that color,
you know, love to see it in different shades of blue.
that's a little iffy.
I think it all depends.
But I'm a little old fashioned here.
I think if a guy is engaging with a lot of girls' content other than mine,
I think something's there.
Unless it's his job.
I mean, that's what I'm thinking.
I think it's a little strange.
I do.
I don't have to handle it.
I maybe talk to him about it.
But you can't controlling when she says,
I don't want to be controlling.
and controlling would be telling him, I don't want you to do that anymore.
Like, don't do that.
Don't do that.
Right.
Well, I think, Jane, you should ask him, there's a couple of tidbits here we don't have the answer to.
One is, is he engaging with grandmas?
Is he engaging with guys?
Is he engaging with brands and girls?
And if the answer to that is yes to all them, then I think you need to look at what kind of
engagement he's having with them.
But, you know, don't be the distrustful thing that's,
stressful person that thinks just because he's comment on somebody's unless that's all he's doing.
And then I got a problem with that.
And she says he's constantly posting.
Probably you're in some of those posts with him maybe.
You know, is he just excluding you?
But we all can be a little jealous at times thinking he's going to give them more attention to me like CK or on our other podcast.
Excuse me.
When we were talking with CK.
and he is flirtatious, he is.
I could see a not so strong female with him that wouldn't like it.
And you can't change him.
But I do think you need to just evaluate the entire situation, Jane.
And then if you still feel uncomfortable, go and talk to him.
And let us know.
But I love that you reached out and I get it.
I get it.
Yeah.
Okay, the next one is from Allison, from Charleston.
The question is, Alice.
are you from Charleston, West Virginia,
or Charleston, South Carolina?
I don't remember that.
That's an inside joke.
That is an inside joke.
Okay.
So, Allison says,
I recently started dating again after a breakup,
and I met someone who was genuinely great,
but I still find myself thinking about my ex
more than I'd like to admit.
It's not that I want to get back together,
but the feelings aren't fully gone.
Is it unfair to keep dating someone new
while I'm still processing the past.
Absolutely not, Allison.
Nope, nope.
It's part of the process.
Yeah, it's part of the process.
You certainly can miss the guy that you dated and mourn the fact that it didn't work out.
But you know what?
There's nothing wrong with going out with a new guy, a couple of guys.
You know, spread the wealth, right?
Go out with a few guys.
As long as you're not comparing.
Like, well, we were, we did.
it this way or we went here like don't compare because it is somebody new and give him the benefit
of the doubt you know well she says he's really great yeah so enjoy him's really great and then eventually
maybe this one's not sweeping her off her feet even though she likes him like you got to move on and it's
not easy you're going to still remember things and you know i'm going to say something susan that i hate
it when people say to me what time heals yes but in this
case, Allison, the more time you're away from the guy, it's always natural, I think, when you
break up with someone or you get broken up with, to only remember the good times. But you know what?
If that other guy had been or other person had been your person, you wouldn't be broken up.
That's right. So just to ask us if it's unfair, it most definitely don't worry about that. You
just keep dating. Yeah, and let us know, Allison, if it's Charleston, West Virginia or Charleston,
in South Carolina.
I know.
Now we have one from Orlando, Florida, and her name is Brooke.
I've been talking to a guy who is incredible on paper, successful, kind, family-oriented,
but in person, I feel like I'm the one carrying the conversation.
He doesn't ask many questions and doesn't seem super curious about me.
I can't tell if he's just shy or if he's not that interested.
it. How do you tell the difference? Well, Brooke, that's a damn good question. I'm serious.
That is a good question. Oh, for me, it's easy. Okay. Really? Okay. For me, it's one of two things,
Brooke. Either you are doing all the talking and not giving him a chance and you probably don't like
silence. So if that's the problem, zip your lip, zip it, and let him talk. If you are letting him talk and he's
looking at his shoelaces, he may be shy, he may be boring, he may be all of the things you said
successful, kind, family oriented on paper. But if you don't have a connection in person after,
you know, of date or two, you can't blame it on jitters, nerves, first date. So if you're not feeling
it, if you've given him the chance to ask you the questions and talk with you, if you're not
feeling it, then you're just probably not a good match.
I mean, think about going out with Kathy.
She will hold the conversation.
It's how his response.
Oh, no, Susan, not.
You are so wrong.
It's how the person, if you're running the conversation, is he giving you, uh-huh, I don't know, uh, right, that's what you mean?
Or he just doesn't initiate conversation.
I don't like to meet somebody for the first time and them not ask you anything about you
and only talk about themselves.
There's two things.
One, he could be super nervous or two, he's just full of himself and he doesn't care where you've been, what you've done, you know?
Yeah.
I always ask some questions, but I don't ask too many.
So I, believe it or not, as talkative as I am, I always ask, and I don't ask yes or no questions.
I always ask open-ed questions, open-end, like, tell me about your family.
Tell me what you like to do on the weekends because I want to say.
see, I want the information, but I also want to see if we're compatible right from the
get go.
You know, some guy says to me.
But do you ever just not say anything and wait for them to start a conversation?
Well, I don't think that's where she's at here.
Well, I don't know.
She said she's the one carrying the conversation.
So I think.
That could be nerves too, right?
You're nervous, just as nervous.
You're nervous too.
So that's why I say it's either nerves, but I would encourage you, Brooke, to, you
to next time you go out with him, just kind of smile sweetly at him and say,
tell me about your day.
And then if he can't talk, you may have a big problem because you're giving him the opportunity
to share what's important to him, who he is.
And if he can't do it, then he might be great on paper.
And you can frame a picture of him, and that's about as far as it'll go.
And on the other note, how you ever with other people, like at a function or something,
And how is he, does he talk to, he could be an introvert.
We don't know.
He looks great on paper and he's family-oriented and successful.
But that doesn't make him an outgoing personality.
Exactly.
And there are a lot of great guys that are like that.
And if you want an outgoing guy to Susan's point, and he is all those things,
but an introvert, again, he may not be your guy.
You're only going to find out by letting him talk more and asking him questions to encourage him to talk.
Oh, I love these questions, Susan, don't you?
I know.
Yes.
I love answering.
I do.
It makes me think about my own stuff, you know?
Right.
It's exactly right.
It's free therapy for us.
Well, for all of you out there, you can submit your burning questions to us by going to
bachelorination.com slash golden hour.
We love hearing from you.
Come back and see if we answer your question.
Because remember, if you're asking a question, somebody else probably has the exact same question.
And we're going to talk about it.
All right. This is going to be fun. Would you rather have?
Susan, you cannot say both.
No, I can't do that. Okay, that's like obeying every second of the law.
You know, the sign said, don't go past here. I went one foot further. It's just, it's just two I am.
Susan wants it all. All right, go ahead. Let's each say a line. And what would you rather have will both answer. Go ahead.
Okay. Love or compatibility.
Now, how can you not say both?
Okay, we're not going to count that one.
We both agree to both on that one.
All right, this one's easy.
Answer, Susan.
Passion or peace?
Passion.
Hands down.
Great.
Susan loves makeup sex.
Perfect.
It just keeps me going.
I love passion.
I am passionate.
How about you?
I am passionate as well.
I didn't say you weren't cats.
But wait a second, but let me finish.
I'm passionate as well, but I don't, if it's either or, I don't like confrontation and arguments.
So if you make me, so if you make me choose one, I'm going to choose peace because I'm in a nature where I want calm and peace.
All right.
Chemistry or consistency?
I got to say.
Well, I'm not sure what that means because chemistry.
is the oh wow wow wow wow and consistency could be the oh wow wow wow every day no it can which would be
consistent so i i i'm going to go with a great chemistry that is consistent i thought you just said
we can't have both did you hear her people do you hear her uh-huh she she words it properly you know
but she's picking both um absolutely both but if i had to choose i'd say chemistry
Of course you would.
All right, how about this one?
Oh.
God, that one's hard.
Oh, no, it isn't.
For you, maybe.
Grand gestures.
Susan, would you rather have grand gestures or everyday kindness?
Everyday kindness, but I do love a grand jester here and there.
That's both.
She's saying both, everybody.
I'm actually agree with you.
Everyday kind.
Again, Susan, I think part of it is our age.
We know the value of everyday kindness.
We know the value of peace and tranquility.
Okay, similar interests or similar values?
Oh, that's, come on.
I think similar values, but I do like having the similar interests, though,
but the values are the deep core of everything.
Yeah.
If you're on opposites.
We agreed.
You can, you know, I don't have to be.
with my guy 24 hours a day.
I can go play golf of the girls.
You can go play golf of the guys.
He can want to watch football on a Saturday.
I can go to a yoga class.
All right.
If we don't share values, we're touched.
Head or heart?
Head or heart?
What the hell is that mean?
Well, head means, well, if we're keeping it clean, it means intellectual.
That's not what I was thinking.
It means intellectual or letting your heart control you.
Do you rule with your head?
or your heart?
What would you rather have?
I thought, I'm looking at it like in my partner.
So in myself,
I have to say heart.
I want heart.
I leave with my heart.
I want heart.
And romance.
Go ahead, you give me this one.
Romance or reliability.
I want both.
What do you?
I mean, I wouldn't be with somebody that is not reliable,
but I think I need romance.
big time. Okay, so Susan said both again. I just want everyone to hear that. I admit it that first.
It's you that was in denial, girl. I'm going with reliability. I'm going with a reliability because without
reliability, you get mistrust, you get questions, you become nervous, you don't. So I'm going
with reliability. We saved the best one for last. Forgive once or never again. Well, I'm going to
change it and say forgive because I can't have you met Kathy I'm going to change that how about this Susan
forgive regularly or never again no because forgive once somebody makes a big mistake you forgive
once or you say never again I'm out of here for me you forgive once I think I agree
It takes me some time, however.
Well, you could resent you for a while.
Depends on what you did.
Before we wrap, let me just say, I know Susan,
and when Susan utters the word resent or resentment,
can I just tell you, you are toast in her life.
She's done with you.
That's the final straw.
Okay, well, thank you.
The final straw.
And the final straw here is, we're here at the wrap.
