Susan's getting a tan on, and I'm serious sweating a day. death in Austin. So, you know, nothing's changed. But today, we have a very, very special guest. Someone I just had so much fun staring at in Paradise. Please welcome from Bachelor in Paradise,
Starting point is 00:03:21 Sean. Hi, Sean. Welcome to Bachelor Happy Hour. Hi, ladies. Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here. This is the first time we're doing it. Yes, I'm so excited to get to know you. Oh, trust me. Susan, you like a good-looking man? When he came on the show, I was like, I'll like it. You guys are already making me blush for like 10 seconds, and this is going to be a great. I can't wait to go out after this. I'm going to have such a confidence boost.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Oh, please. You do not. Yes, you will. Really seriously, Sean, you need a confidence boost. Come on. I probably need to tone it down a notch, but, you know. I'm just going to say. I want to know.
Starting point is 00:03:54 I mean, you know, I adored you when I got to know. Actually, I met you before Paradise, but I'd actually forgotten I'd met you. and you had to point that out to me, showed me up there. But what have you been up to since Paradise? Yeah, I kind of got back into a normal flow. I mean, I have a regular job. I work in AI sales, so a lot of travel with that, going to different conferences,
Starting point is 00:04:16 but I'm here in Tampa and just kind of got back into the normal life a little bit. I'm enjoying my time. It's just starting to get amazing weather here. So playing a lot of golf and hanging out. What's your handicap? I'm a little jealous about that. Yeah, a little jelly. What's your handicap?
Starting point is 00:04:30 I'm a 5.9 right now, which is... Oh, Susan, just so you know, anybody who gives it to you with a digit and a point, they're a serious golfer. Yeah. It's a... Do you shoot in the 70s? I shot... This past weekend I played twice.
Starting point is 00:04:45 I shot 76 and 80. Good for you. But it's so weird with golf because when I get consistently I'm playing, like I can get down and shoot in the mid-70s pretty consistently. But after filming Paradise and probably since I started doing The Bachelor, franchise. I'm traveling so much. I have so much stuff going on. I'm not getting that consistent golf time in. So then my score, I know, but my score is reflected. So then I get all mad and, you know, then it just makes me upset. So no. This is why this is why I don't take golf. I play,
Starting point is 00:05:18 but you can't take it seriously unless you're going to spend the hours, you know, doing it. But, you know, practicing. But you say you've been traveling a lot. Uh-huh. We saw that you were in New years in Vegas with a bunch of people from Bachelor? I'd like to know. And don't tell me what happened in Vegas days in Vegas. I do not want the what happens in Vegas. So tell me how was that true? It was amazing. Honestly, I'm trying to think what I can share. It was, it was great. Was it someone's birthday? It was, it was charity's birthday slash new years. But it was the thing is with that crew, I think Charity's friends from Zach's season that she's close with and then obviously the guys from her season that I'm close with, Don specifically in the rest of the group.
Starting point is 00:06:02 We have such a solid group of people. And anytime we all get together, we match really well. So, you know, it was a blast. We had a good time. That is fun. That's so fun. And now you think I'm going to let you go with that? I want one piece of juice. Give it to me. Ooh. The cat. You know, we need to know. No, no, we're not going to cat yet. Do you remember when I said to you on Paradise? I said, oh, my God, you must have been in politics. You talk to us when you say, actually, my father's in politics. So that answer you just gave me was a political answer. Now I want the truth. What went on in Vegas? Well, Vegas went on in Vegas. We were playing a lot and we were gambling a lot. I think what was great was you had a huge group of girls and a huge group of
Starting point is 00:06:41 guys. So the guys kind of went to the tables and we loved playing blackjack. But then we'd all meet up at night for dinners. Nothing was like that insane. I will say I'll tease something. That wasn't the first time that we had all hung out before, like recently. So there is something that might be coming with all of us together. So. Ah. And that I can't actually share yet. So I'll give you a nice little tease.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Yeah. Okay. We like it. We like it. I know. Just dig and see what you got here. Okay. Now, where do you, we can't stand?
Starting point is 00:07:12 I think, I mean, I think we're all past it. I would say, I mean, it was, it was good to see her out in Vegas. I mean, I have no bad blood. And I don't think she does either. So, yeah, I think we're good. It was, it was good to see her. And, yeah, we're fine. I think what people in the audience,
Starting point is 00:07:26 audience might not understand is like the emotions that you feel when you're filming a television yourself, specifically within the Bachelor franchise, it's kind of like this fight or fight or flight response. Your adrenaline's always so high. Your stress is always so high. So sometimes like in the moment you get all worked up, but a month or two removed, everything comes down and it goes back to normal in a way. And I feel like that was definitely, you know, CAD myself. Okay. I have so many question, Susan. You got to let me go here for one second. Okay, go ahead. I got so many first of all, another political answer. We're digging deep in here. Who, who broke up with whom? And who? With Alicia. Then we're getting back to Kat. Oh, okay. Oh, it was kind of like,
Starting point is 00:08:09 I want to say mutual. I would say. I would say. Well, so I didn't want to do long distance. And Alicia was living in Tampa at the time. And she had moved to L.A., uh, of abruptly. So I, we kind of mutually both said, like once she got out to L.A. was not not working. It was not going to work. And I had, you know, I have a house here in Tampa. I have a job. I have all these things that I kind of have to, I would have to button up before moving to L.A. And it wasn't really on my radar. So yeah, it was, it was more so the distance type thing, but it was, it was kind of abrupt. Fair enough. Fair enough. Okay. So I, the whole thing in Paradise with the, by the way, that
Starting point is 00:08:54 was the first time I'd ever heard the word receipts used in that way. Just they had receipts. Just coming on and being the mayor, for goodness sake. You took the, you owned the role. You were being your dad, where you're just trying to feel it out? The Prince of Parliament. Who were you again? I called them the mayor. Yeah, yeah, the Parliament of Paradise leader. I wanted to say I was, you know, elected official, unelected, whatever you can say. But I wanted to have so much fun with that. Like, I thought that, and I think Cass Matthew, watching it back, you felt very similarly where it's like, hey, like, have fun. Like, go play a game.
Starting point is 00:09:31 I think you said something like, I want to like give it to every place the best game. And I had got into like game mode. No one else was thinking that way, but I had already done. I had already done paradise. I had already done like, you know, at once before. So like the game show, the competition element was so interesting and fun to me. No one else was like having that much fun with the game side of it. The games themselves, like I thought filming them.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Some of them were so terrible to film. It wasn't fun filming the game elements, like the competitions. However, the overarching theme of like voting off, like I grew up watching Survivor. Like I love that type of stuff. So I had fun with it. Okay. I get it. But I want to go back to the horror show that happened at the end of the show with, like,
Starting point is 00:10:21 whose idea was that to bring up the whole with you and Alicia? whose idea was that to bring up the receipts and the cat dating that whole thing where did that come the iPad the whole yeah well I didn't know any of that when I was when before I had got voted off like I had zero idea so that information surfaced after I got voted off so it was like what do you do with the information do you just sit on it or do you like bring it up and the thing it makes for a good TV well the thing is it's like I found out the information I was like well like what am I going to do and in in a perfect golf analogy you kind of got to protect the field. So if everyone's competing for half a million dollars, you kind of got to be, you can't just
Starting point is 00:11:00 like hide it, like withhold that information because it affects people's voting and things like that. So I don't know. It's kind of like in the golf analogy, protecting the field a bit. And I was pissed. Whatever. I got to say, I'm so, I'm a smart girl and I'm so confused what the hell you're talking about. None of it's making any sense. He was saying, I get it because he got all that information after he was off the show. But why now he's sitting there? to tell it. Because if I don't tell it, then other people don't have access to the information to vote having that in their mind. So if they have one view of something and there's information that contradicts it, that would give people information to do it. Okay, but weren't you in Kat really good
Starting point is 00:11:42 friends? We were, yeah, going in. Now, that was shocking. So why would you throw your really good friend under the bus? Because the way, in this case, under the beach. Yeah, under the beach. Yeah, because the way And the thing is, like, when you're on the show, you kind of get, like, half information. I had been told that she was trying to have people vote me off. Like, she was voting for me. So I was like, whoa, what the heck? Like, I thought we were friends, all this type of stuff. So I felt completely betrayed because she was like someone I was close to prior to getting there before any of this all happened.
Starting point is 00:12:13 So, like, I felt like, now your defense, man. 100%. And I was like, why are you, like, the one person that I was like, I'm not going to vote for her ever. Like, I thought we had each other's back. Like, I thought she would be coming to my defense. and letting me know if things were happening in the background. So I felt like I was, it wasn't reciprocated in a way in terms of like the allegiance. Celebrate your pride with the station that says bold, vibrant and diverse as you are.

I think coming out of where I came from, I'm from the Bronx, I think I grew up really poor. I didn't know that then because I very much used my creativity to romanticize life. And I'm like, my mom did a really good job of like, you step back and you're like, whoa, we, I don't know how we made it.
Starting point is 00:14:51 So a lot of my life was like built out of like survival to get to the next place. It's like my drive, my tunnel vision of like, I got to be better. I got to achieve this was off the strengths of like, I want to make a better life for us. If You Knew Better brings real talk from women who've lived it, unpacking career pivots, relationship lessons, and the mindset shifts that changed everything. Starting point is 00:16:12 And plenty of, did they just say that moments? Listen to Between Us on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. So two things I want to say, Susan, take a lesson here. I know, she feels betrayed. I'm feeling them. I would have got in their face. How are you in Kat today? Yeah, we're good.
Starting point is 00:16:35 I mean, we definitely don't talk as much as we used to, but I think there's not like any resentment towards each other. Like I said, we were in Vegas. Everything was fine. It was good this year. And, you know, I'm sure we'll cross past again here at some point. So, yeah, everything's good. And tell us about Alicia then. I haven't talked to Alicia in a long time, honestly.
Starting point is 00:16:54 No. Yeah. I mean, I reached out. I said, like, I've reached out before, said happy birthday, just crickets. Really? Yeah. Yeah. It's interesting.
Starting point is 00:17:05 And I like, you know, I feel like I didn't do anything wrong. She kind of feels differently. And like she had kind of said something. Wait, what does she think you did wrong? Yeah. She went on a podcast, one of the Bachelor shows. And she was like, oh, he like was going behind my back. And what I?
Starting point is 00:17:20 Right. Doing what? Well, that's the thing is she just left at that. So it was kind of vague. So people like made assumptions about things. Me going behind her back was actually me and Kat had a conversation prior to the reunion after Alicia and I had already broken up. And I didn't tell Alicia about that conversation because I didn't feel like I needed to. Right.
Starting point is 00:17:39 I just say who's on first. Yeah. Well, so wait a minute. So so you and Alicia are on. It's whatever. I mean, you're obviously not close anymore. what did you think about Kat and Dale's breakup? Yeah, it's...
Starting point is 00:17:58 Were you surprised? I mean, I don't think... I'm not surprised, but like, I'm not surprised if anyone on the show breaks up. You know, like anyone that meets through this style of dating, it's really difficult. So it's not like they have the highest success rating, especially coming off with shows like this. And any, not even just the Bachelor franchise, Love Island, any of them. right? So I wasn't necessarily surprised. I think it's tough. Like, you know, I never want people to go through pain, whether it's cat or Dale or both parties. So yeah, no, I wasn't surprised,
Starting point is 00:18:30 but it's kind of sucks for both. But there was really good, successful ones that came off. We just had them on and they're so in love. It does happen. Are you surprised there together, all the, all the couples that are? No, no, no, I'm not surprised they're still together. I'm just Not just Jess. Oh, no, no. I think, I mean, it's Jess and Spencer and then Alex and Andrew. Yeah. So, no, I think they're both going strong.
Starting point is 00:18:54 And wait, and Bailey at Bailey. Oh, my God. How am I forgetting Bailey and Jeremy? I know, right. No, I'm definitely. They're really happy. They're amazing. I'm definitely, like, I talk to Bailey and Jeremy, like the most out of anyone from
Starting point is 00:19:05 from paradise. Yeah. And they're great. I mean, I've stayed with Jeremy in New York a couple of times. I went out and saw Bailey in Portugal when I was there this summer. Oh, yeah. And she gave me a... I'm going.
Starting point is 00:19:16 You're going to Lisbon? And Porto, yep. I went to Porto. You're going to love it. Porto was amazing. Like, oh, my gosh, what a beautiful city. And she's the best tour tour guide. So, yeah, they're doing great and they're doing strong.
Starting point is 00:19:30 So it's happy to see. We did have successful relationships just in general throughout the terms of, like, reality dating and stuff. But weren't you sorry that I didn't leave with someone? I was room for you. I was room for you, Kathy. You know, it was nobody to leave with, Kathy. Well, here's the thing, Kathy.
Starting point is 00:19:45 It's not your fault. It was the cast. They didn't cast your person there. It wasn't you. If there was more options on the beach, I'm sure you would have found someone and left with them. Sean, when you run for senator, I'm voting for you. I'm totally federal politicians for me. But I do have a question.
Starting point is 00:20:01 What was the response like from like the bachelor nation people? Like, did you, were you the villain? Were they attacking you or were they supporting you? Oh, man. Well, yeah. They had to suck. Yeah. I think I felt very villainous in terms of like, oh my God, the amount of DMs.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Like if I went through my DMs, it's hundreds and hundreds of messages. I still get them to this day that people are still catching up on Paradise apparently. And like I'll get randomly one where I'm like, all right, well, they just watched the episode. But I think for the most part, like the fans of the show, 90% of the fans of the bachelor world are amazing. Anytime I get approached in public, everyone's great, always have great interactions. You have the 10% that takes it above and beyond of what's really necessary. And that's the stuff that you see. Like the average viewer is not DMing me, like telling me to like jump off a bridge, you know?
Starting point is 00:20:50 Right. So like it's I always kind of have put it on the wayside and been like, listen, anyone that feels the need to DM me, like, I don't really need to take their advice. Okay. So, Sean, I have something. I don't know if you know this. When you and Alicia started that whole conversation you brought, I don't know if you remember me coming up to you and saying, can you let it go? Do you remember me saying let it go, don't do it? I know.
Starting point is 00:21:16 And you said, you said, I'm doing it. I'm doing it. And so when it, when it all started, I was sitting at the bar, I got up and left. I did. I got up and left. And one of the directors came and said, Kathy, you have to get back out there. And I looked him straight in the eyes. And I said, no, I don't.
Starting point is 00:21:34 Because I thought it was so harsh. And I love you to pieces. But I just thought it was so harsh. because I didn't know Kat or Dale before. And I did think it was villainous, even though I loved to. But Kathy, if it was so true, would you still feel that way? Listen, Keith and I are the two that said and meant it that, and not everyone believed us at first. Like, we talked to me, said, we're not going to take money out of young kids' hands.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Like, that's why we stuck around so long. People knew that we were kind people to be there to celebrate. And you weren't challenging them. They knew. I would never, I love the games. I wanted to win just because I'm competitive, but not, but, you know, we, you know, Sean, we started stabbing ourselves. And one of those things because we, you know, so, so it to me, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:22:27 it's just when you're on, I, I hate that people think you're a villain because I don't think you are, but I thought that was brutal. And I didn't know if you just thought it was getting caught up in the moment or you really felt like you were doing a service to all the other contestants. I thought it was more so, more so the service. service. But then again, like, I always go back to it and be like, if, if you need it, if we need to get information out there, how else do you do it? It's a tough situation to navigate. And like my sense was, do I want to go around and have these tiny little conversations and
Starting point is 00:22:58 then like it comes out? Because whisper. Yeah. Well, the thing is, we're on a television show. It's going to come out to the masses anyway. So the 15, 20 people that were there, it's going to get broadcast to a lot more, whether I do it on the side or I do it in front of everybody. But if it was the whole thing of like, I need to get the information out there to everyone so they can make proper decisions. Yeah, it's a kind of a lose-lose situation. I guess the best way it would have been just to like not said it at all, but I felt like it needed to be out there in the time. So it's where we are. So I'm going to ask you. I'm going to ask you the next day, again, you're probably not going to remember. Remember we were all back at the other hotel before we
Starting point is 00:23:32 went back for the last voting thing? And I said to you, in retrospect now, it's been 24 hours. are you glad you did it or would you not do it again? Do you remember your answer? I don't. I remember we were having coffee right there like overlooking the pool. Yes. I think I said you'll get it in time or if you don't have to get it now or something like that. But I don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Yeah. You said you were glad you would do it again. Yeah. I'm going to ask you now how many months later. Are you glad you did it? I don't live with regrets, Kathy. Come on. You don't look back.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Speaking of, okay. You know what? You are just doing my interview, art interview for us. Speaking of regrets, do you regret not going with April back to her room? Yeah. No, actually, if I could go back and do things over, for sure. That's actually one thing I would change. She'll love this. April. April. April. Get with me. I've got his number. Call me. He made your day. I have a question, though. Do you really think you were the actual villain,
Starting point is 00:24:31 or do you think there was another villain that flew under the radar? Because you were there. Hmm. So I think it was an actual villain? You don't have to name his name, but do you think there really was? I don't know. Maybe I think it's tough to go back and like... I want him to name it. Name.
Starting point is 00:24:51 Well, actually, who are you thinking of? I'll tell you if I were thinking the same thing, Susan. So I'm not thinking of anybody in particular, but I think there was a few shadiness, a little bit of shadiness going on. And you just happened to be the one that they, because you've, you entered with that information. Of course, everybody's going to hate you. You're the villain.
Starting point is 00:25:12 I think that, like, in the moment, you get such conflicting information. You're only unable to understand what's in front of your face at that time. So then you kind of get on defense mode. No, I think that everyone, I mean, you can never know until you actually, people come out and say it. But I feel like maybe some people were putting on an act for the cameras in a way. And the one that with me is, like, if I was active with the cameras, I wouldn't have come back and like blue and shit up like that.
Starting point is 00:25:37 You know, like what you see is what you're going to get. Wait, who was acting? I think a lot of people have it kind of have this view of like when they get on TV and cameras. The real way they feel often doesn't come out. Come out. Like, for example. Because they're not proud of how they're really feeling or their thoughts. Well, it could be different.
Starting point is 00:25:58 I would say that there's conversations that I've had across, especially this season, I would say, where like off camera, say a dead day where we're not feeling. filming, the way they feel about certain things is very different. Like, give me an example. Give me a name. I can't. I'm not throwing people on the bus. It's six months ago.
Starting point is 00:26:15 What do you think? The legal alone, he's been through hell. Susan, he's not throwing people on the bus. Sean, you threw on national television. So this is just a tiny little podcast with 10 listeners. Show that you can give us a name. There's 12. No, it wasn't just one person in the other.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I think it was, I can give you specifically the way that people felt, towards the game off camera was much different than the way they felt on camera about the money and like about what they're going to do also interesting terms of like where people stood from like allegiance perspective so there was certain elements to that where like I watched back now I'm going to cry they didn't love me
Starting point is 00:26:53 did it love stuff? Did that change the game for you in any way when they brought the money into the game? Well I think the whole thing changed when it became like a competition yeah for me particularly I was like hell yeah let's go this is freaking amazing um yeah i thought what was would suck for me like going through this is the first season they did it was like surprise about the money thing um i didn't have anybody from charity season on the beach with me i had no no one that i'm like really close with i had
Starting point is 00:27:22 a couple people drop out last minute like zavier and john b were supposed to go on they dropped off last minute if i had those two guys on the beach your guys you feel a little stronger there you felt alone, did you? It felt alone in the sense of like, hey, like, all these people are from the same season or they're like have a roommate. I didn't even have a roommate. So all like the like the time at night when like they're talking and like getting close to each other, I'm in my bed by myself.
Starting point is 00:27:47 You had your own room. I had my own room. At least you would come over like when we met you, we would share a room at that point. But like up into that point, it was like I was alone. So it's great in that sense. But when the element of the game comes into play, it's actually disadvantage. Yes, it is. I will say.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I will say, Sean, you and you're continuing to say what you said to me on the beach, which is you looked at it very as a competition and what strategy do I, Sean, do I need to enact here to have the best chance, best outcome of winning? Like I think you really strategized and I think a lot of people, it didn't appear that they were strategizing as much as you. and that's why I think it got into trouble for you. But hey, you know what? You left the beach without any money. You left the beach with a woman. Now you don't have her.
Starting point is 00:28:41 So now I, we're just going to jump right here. We want to know about the dating now. Are you dating now? And who is she? And by the way, April, Michael, I'm jealous. So think carefully. Yeah. No, I mean, yeah, didn't leave the beach with money.
Starting point is 00:28:55 And left for the girl who didn't work out. You know, I'm like, I'm out there. I'm going on dates. Nothing like, no one like consistently in terms of like we're that serious. But the thing that's tough for me is I travel a lot. Like I was in San Francisco for the Super Bowl a couple weeks ago. I go to L.A. tomorrow. So there's a lot of travel where the consistent dates become tough to build momentum, I guess, so to speak. But I mean, I felt like when I got off the show and like things went over with Alicia and like the months after that, I put a lot of pressure
Starting point is 00:29:24 myself to like find somebody and like go out there and go on a bunch of dates and like meet people. And I've kind of taken that pressure off now. And I feel like, when whenever something happens, it'll be meant to be in a way. And I feel like I operate way better when I don't put pressure on myself in the dating sense. Like, let it be natural, let be organic, not force anything. I agree with that. Do you have a type? Is there a certain one that catches your eye? Is it a skinny, skinny girl like her? Or is it a dark hair girl, a blonde? Do you have a certain or you just like them all? Older women. Yeah. Or older women. I think like the immediate eye catch for me is like blind. hair, blue eyes, like active, I would say. So, you know, I'm watching the Olympics right now.
Starting point is 00:30:09 And there's a lot of, a lot of cute girls on the TV. They're all really good shape. They're great. I like watching the people from Norway and Sweden. I'm like, oh, wow, these are some cute girls there. Oh, yeah. You can talk to blonde and blue eyes. The newest tracks.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Let's go. New music. And the next big thing. Always on the new music first. Your first place to hear it all. Because you don't like it, love, I want to play it twice. Playing now. I Heart new music.

This Woman's History Month, the podcast, if you knew better with Amber Grimes, spotlights women who turn missteps into momentum and lessons into power. I think coming out of where I came from, I'm from the Bronx, I think I grew up really
Starting point is 00:32:26 poor. I didn't know that then, because I very much used my creativity to romanticize life. And I'm like, my mom did a really good job of, like, You step back and you're like, whoa, we, I don't know how we made it. So a lot of my life was like built out of like survival to get to the next place. Like my drive, my like tunnel vision of like I got to be better. I got to achieve this was off the strengths of like I want to make a better life for us. If You Knew Better brings real talk from women who've lived it,
Starting point is 00:32:56 unpacking career pivots, relationship lessons and the mindset shifts that changed everything. Listen to If You Knew Better with Amber Grimes on the IHarmes. Starting point is 00:33:28 It's the unfiltered behind closed doors conversations you wish you could eavesdrop on. Equal parts smart, funny, and a little bit scandalous. Every week, Heather would bring you an unapologetic take on the headlines, the trends, and the cultural moments everyone's texting about. Listen to Between Us on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:34:11 You're a very good looking guy and you're successful. So I'm guessing you have no shortage of dates. Yeah, I mean, you know, it depends. I feel like for me, like I'm on the apps, you know, every now and again and like I try to set stuff up. But I feel like all the fun relationships I get into and the people I meet, it's always out organically. Like it's always out and about I'm at a bar I'm like oh you're really cute Like what's your name and then you hit it off and stuff like that
Starting point is 00:34:37 Wait a second I'm sorry We got a skin pack about women Hold on yep give me your best You asked that I have one question before Give me your best pickup line Sean you're in a bar You see Miss Sweden Sitting sitting down the bar What do you say?
Starting point is 00:34:52 She's wearing her metal Yeah well how much time do I got Am I saying the bar for a while or is it quick Because there's two different answers Two different answers Give them to me both I want to hear Okay. So if I'm, if I don't know if I'm going to be at the bar for a while and I have one shot at it, so to speak, you go up and this is kind of cheesy, but I'll go up and be like, oh my God, Alyssa, it's so good to see you. And then she's like, oh, my God, my name is not Alyssa. I'm like, I know this, like beautiful girl named Alyssa. I'm so sorry. I'm Sean, nice to meet you. And usually like brings the tone down and like she off guard a little bit. Oh, this guy knows a beautiful girl named Melissa. And then, you know, we have that. If it's not like, a. immediate, like I have one, maybe I wear at the bar for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:35:35 I'll, like, in passing, just be like, hey, hey, I really like your dress or I like your purse or I like your shoes or something like that. And then just walk away. Don't even like stay for a conversation, just compliment and go by. And then if you're at the point where it's like, she's at the bar, like, 30 minutes go by, the chances they come up to you and say, hey, like, what's going on? Because they keep thinking, like, why didn't he say and talk to me? Why didn't he ask for my name?
Starting point is 00:35:59 So there's a little bit of a long game in that one. So let me ask you something. Would you find it odd if the woman came up to you and said, hey, I find you very good looking. Are you single? What's your story? No, I would love that. I think, I would love it. Wait, wait, which girl you take it home to mama, the one who comes up to you and says, you know, I think you're really hot.
Starting point is 00:36:23 And whatever. I mean, I wouldn't say hot. Oh, whatever. I like your, I like your. I think you're very attractive. Whatever. You stood out in a crowd. I'd like to know you.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Are you going after that girl or the girl that you try to date? Would it make a difference? Well, I mean, no one's been my mom unless I truly get to know them a little bit. So, like, I think I would go on dates with any of them. But obviously what, if you feel connected, it's going to happen and more of like an intimate setting where you're going on a date, not necessarily at a crowded bar. But I'd be, I like, I like someone that's got some balls, too. If they want to come up and approach me, that's awesome.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Like I like that. See that. Kath. I'm trying to tell Kathy. Susan, I know this is going to come as a shock to you. Sean and I are not dating in the same age pool. Just a thought. Who says? So you think older men. Don't make assumptions about who I'm dating, you know?
Starting point is 00:37:15 No, that they would take that as, oh, my God, you must be wild. Listen, I tried it last week in California. It was a disaster. Moving on. Would you do Paradise again? Well, here's the thing. Everything I've done, I've had so much fun filming, like so much fun. I would say that my interest in Paradise is very, very low at this point.
Starting point is 00:37:37 I would say I'm open to other ideas in terms of shows. Like I would love to do something competition-based. I would love to do something with a little bit different element rather than dating. So, yeah, I mean, I'm open to doing another experience like that. I think Paradise, like, I've done it twice. So am I. So if you get something, will you bring me along with you? There might be something coming up here.
Starting point is 00:37:58 There might be something that, yeah, there might be something coming along. up here. Nobody called us yet. It's already, it sounds like you know something. Not, not, I don't think it's in the Bachelor universe, but there is, there might be something. It's okay. I don't know when they're going to announce it, but yeah. Do you need my number?
Starting point is 00:38:13 Do you need my number? Are they calling me? I think they might, maybe for next year. Next year. I'd already filmed, so. Oh. Yeah. See, they're already done.
Starting point is 00:38:21 All right. Tell me your thoughts on Taylor Frankie Paul. I'm obsessed. I want to go back on her show. I know. Everybody is. I can't wait to watch. You'll be watching, I assume, right?
Starting point is 00:38:33 There is a part of me that, you know, just with the franchise, like I'm done with this franchise, they're really right back in. But there was a part of me that I legitimately almost reached out to the producer. So it's like, you got to get me out of the season. Like, this is going to be so much fun. And then I thought back to myself, I'm like, I've done three of these things. I don't know if I can do it for it. Well, you never know.
Starting point is 00:38:54 When you are in a bar going back just for a second, I never got this in. and you see somebody that you would like to speak with. Do they recognize you? Yes and no. I think the people that are approaching me, typically they recognize you. Right. And like I never go into the assumption of like people know me
Starting point is 00:39:14 because like the majority of people out there do not. It's just the ones that do. But I've had experiences where, you know, I start talking to someone and like two weeks go by. And then it comes out that they had actually known me the entire time. But they kind of play cool. Yeah. This one girl I was like seen for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:39:29 She watched like my previous paradise season with her parents. Before I had even met them. And we weren't even that serious. We're just going on a few dates. But she's like, yeah, my dad loves you on the show. I was like, what do you mean? Like, it's watching the show right now. Oh, gone.
Starting point is 00:39:48 And the fourth date would have been, do you want my ring size? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But it's cool. I mean, like, I think it's cool how you interact with people. Like, for example, like, I think it's really.
Starting point is 00:39:59 fun and like when people come up and say hello. When we were in San Francisco this past weekend, Tanner and I were at a bar after the Super Bowl. And this guy comes up to me, he's like, I know you. Do you live around here? And I was like, no, I'm in town. He's like, wait a second. You were on paradise.
Starting point is 00:40:12 I'm friends with Keith. And he calls Keith and we get on the phone with Keith right there. It was like amazing. That's so cool. It was just like, you know, small. Did you see on the internet, Keith get down on one knee at, uh, in Carmel at, uh, the golf tournament and proposed to me? proposed you? I thought he was just tying his shoe.
Starting point is 00:40:31 No, he was tied to shoe. And there is the story of my dating life in a nutshell right there. So before we're going to do an advice couple of advice questions with you, but just in general, is there anything you can share with us now about what's
Starting point is 00:40:47 coming up for you? What you're up to? Well, he can't. He just told us. I mean, anything that you can share. There's something. Yeah. Other than the something. Well, yeah, I think people will see me see me soon and something going on. different, different show completely, but that's coming up. Should be, I think it'll be announced shortly.
Starting point is 00:41:06 I'm not necessarily sure when, but at some point in the spring, you'll see it, which will be amazing, amazing experience. I had so much fun. It was a blast. Oh, good. So that was fun. But no, I want to, Kathy, I want to hear about Carmel. Like, I'm very, very upset that I was in a part of that group.
Starting point is 00:41:23 I love golf and I see all you guys hanging out having a blast. I was so bummed. I mean, it was, it was. It's just, you know, you go there and you're hanging with all the Batsword people. Not everyone's there, obviously, but just it's such a family. And then just watch those golfers. Man. A call number eight, let me just tell you, my goal to play is just, I just want to play number eight.
Starting point is 00:41:47 And I want to hit my drive over that, over that big cut in from, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, the goalie. Yeah. The goal. I want to drive. I mean, and I'm thinking if I could work it out. No, no. I'm thinking just put my ball like 10 yards. That's, you know, the inside of the gully and then hit it to the green. That's what I want to do. You got it. If you can think it, you can do it for shy of faith. Yeah. I mean, it's beautiful. Put it out to the universe.
Starting point is 00:42:13 It was really fun. It rained on Wednesday. The day we went on the course, it was beautiful. You know, it's, it's paradise there. It just is. Yeah. It is beautiful. I haven't been out that way yet, but it's on my list. Temple Beach is one of the places that I got to get out there and play. It's amazing. Amazing. And you know what? have a lot of their, Sean, before we get to advice, which we're about to do. I keep trying to get it out. We don't want you to go until you answer some of these. Sean, I just have to tell you, do you know what they have a ton of? No, what? Beautiful blonde hair.
Starting point is 00:42:45 Oh, stop. I'm going to book my flight right now. Let's get out there. All right, Susan. All right, Sean, we need some of your advice. What advice do you have to any guy that's single? right now. Oh, what advice.
Starting point is 00:43:02 I should put yourself out there. I think the, I think the, uh, people are so scared of rejection nowadays and like going up and approaching people. Like I feel like maybe it's just the dating apps or maybe it's just the online presence. Very little, I think very little women are getting approached in person nowadays. I think it's becoming. You're right. And it's like if it, the picture's not right next or, okay, you didn't talk right enough for me.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Okay. I'll go with this one. There's so much available to people right now. Yeah. It's sad. Well, I have, like, beautiful friends that are girls that go out and they never get approached at all. And it's like, why not just go up and say hi?
Starting point is 00:43:40 And they're thinking the same thing. Like, I wish the guy would come approach me. I think the guys are thinking, oh, I don't want to be rejected. I don't want to say no. But like at the end of the day, just go up and say hi and see where it goes. The worst he's going to say is, hey, I'm not interested. And then you walk away. And then you're at a bar full of people.
Starting point is 00:43:55 There's other people to talk to it. And nobody else heard it. You know, only you have to hear it. Really. So this is great dating advice. I hate that we have to depart. We have to wrap this episode. But I will say, I have learned a lot.
Starting point is 00:44:10 I'm going to go hang out at bars and say hello to men tonight. Just one right after the other. Hey, I like your purse. But I just want to thank all of our listeners.
