We are back for part two with Zach Wickham, so let's get into it. I guess I have a question now that brings me into this season, and I think something viewers have seen is the difficulties of raising, children and picking the right partner and having a supportive partner. Have you and Benji had any discussions after seeing back kind of what you've witnessed this season?

Benji and I had had previous conversations about how we would raise a child. My child will have a picket sign in its hand the second. It can hold like the tiniest. And it will say like, you know, fuck ice and, you know, it'll like abolish ice. and I will be taking them to the protest from day one. They will understand gender as a construct. They will, you know, it will be the most liberal baby that will have ever existed. And I think Benji and I had already had some of those like really,

I guess we got lucky because we didn't really have to worry about that because we were both on the same page of how liberal we are, how we would want to raise a kid, where it doesn't matter what school they go to. we would supplement like that with, you know, travel or whatever to make sure they were getting or tutoring. Because I don't care if it's public or Catholic. I went to Catholic. He went to public.

I think maybe there was one, maybe a little bit of Catholic, maybe one. He's going to kill me because I'm probably wrong. But yeah, we got lucky. But I feel like that's not the case for most other couples. Also, the first thing I said is. is if you want kids, okay, great, will you raise them in Los Angeles? Because I'm like, I ain't leaving. Sorry, I'm not.

It's a huge conversation. But for us, it was so easy. Right. Because he was like, I don't care. He goes, wherever. Also, kids do not. Let's also debunk some miss. Kids, number one, more resilient than we will ever give them credit for.

Number two, do not need green grass and open spaces to, thrive to be creative and to be amazing humans. They don't need Santa Clarita. They don't need Santa Clarita. They can live in New York City proper or wherever. There's parks everywhere. Okay. Kids will be creative with whatever they have.

Don't discount the fact that they have to live in whatever. Like, it does not matter. Yeah. This has been, I think, such an interesting season to watch because I think it really is highlighting the things that we don't talk about a lot on reality TV. What is it like being a part of that? I mean, you guys have so much. You have divorce.

You have Lala going through her own journey. I think the greatest thing about our show is, so when we first started, I think if you had to, like, because, you know, every show has, here's what it is. And you have to stay within the constructs of whatever the show was pitched at. So like, real housewives, okay, we need opulence. You can't have real housewives that are like, you know, you know, you know, you know, Midwestern, middle class, house. You have to have, like, the opulence. Like, that's just kind of what it's known for. So, and you get put in these, like, kind of boxes. With the Valley, I think when it started, they thought, okay, families that are just starting, suburbia, what does that look like, whatever? Little did they know we were going to throw them for a loop.

And millennials, I feel, like, are the first generation that are not falling. into the societal norms as well. So, like, whereas our parents, you get the house, you have the friends, and then they have kids and your kids go to school and that's all you know and that's all, whatever. And it's usually homogeneous. Like, you're pretty much with the same race or the same, you know, sexual orientation of each. Whereas millennials have taken that and thrown that script out. So with our show, I think you get.

a really raw look at what millennials really go through and what what millennials are you get sexual orientation doesn't matter you also get what i think is unique about our show you have lacey who is bookoo rich bookoo rich brittany who's you know you have people who have money and then you have me who's like maybe i can um afford dominoes today. We have the apartment now. We have the apartment. That's huge.

Yeah. But you know, you have different. You're not confined with financial, you know, where people are in that, where sexual orientation. You're not like single, this, that. Lala wants to raise her baby without a man. That is what millennials are. Yeah. And I think our show, because I saw someone somewhere say it's like the realist reality show where we're

trying to fake it. We're telling you exactly how it is. And yes, sometimes it might be dark. And I hope, you know, we can highlight more of the fun times we have. But I think when we're in dark periods and we're trying to get out of that, seeing that makes people feel seen. And so I think it's a very important thing, especially like this season with Kristen, people don't realize how bad postpartum is. And she had postpartum anxiety and had no idea. And now she's coming out of that. And now she's coming out of that I'll just say fog. And she's realizing how bad she had. She didn't even realize.

And so I think it's very, we're doing like important things where other shows don't do that or highlight those really tough things. And I feel like I've seen a lot of discourse online of people being like, oh, this is hard to watch. And you guys are living it. And that's a reality for a lot of people. Postpartum is hard.

What Brittany has been going through with Cruz is difficult. But I think everyone being so honest and putting it out there. is so huge. I would also like to say to anybody that wants to say it's dark, was Euphoria not dark? Was, is Game of Thrones not dark? Is thousands of things we watch every day,

are they not dark? Yes, I get it. It's our real lives and you're like, wait, this is our escape. But if you want to escape, okay, go watch like, I don't know, family guy or something. Like something that's like, you know.

Modern family. Modern family. Okay, there you go. Wholesome. Like, wholesome. But like, I think what's crazy is that we have that wholesomeness. We have that like relatability.

And hopefully we, we help you feel seen in no matter what stage of life you are. Because again, it's like you have so many different stages of millennials. Where it's like it took me, I think what people don't realize with me is when I moved to L.A. And I have, like, I have my MBA. I have held jobs the entire time I've been here.

But I got in situations where I thought, oh, I'm sacrificing to get to this level of this job and it didn't pay off. Or I would do these things for free to then elevate my brand to be able to like do more with, you know, social media and whatever. And then it wouldn't go. So I struggled a lot. And then COVID hit and COVID took out the entertainment industry. So I think people don't realize that like I'm not just like sitting on my laurels, like my, you know, people just giving me money to.

survive, no, that has nothing to do with it. It has to do with what I wanted in life was I wanted to be an entertainment and a creative field and I made it work no matter what. And then you have other people that made it work earlier. And then you have people that had babies earlier, people that have babies later. I think it's just such a unique show that you cannot replicate. Yeah. Speaking of doing things different, because I feel like you definitely do. You and Benji have talked about recently that you're in an open relationship. Can you tell us a little about that or how that came to be what that's like in Los Angeles? Well, in Los Angeles, I feel like that's even with straight people, it's more the norm. Do you think? I would think more than they will tell you. I think people

say open, but it's maybe open on one side and other side doesn't know. Well, maybe. Well, and that's the thing, though, is I think with, I always say with straight people, it's a little different. With gay people, we have to be more open about sexuality our likes and preferences right off the bat so I think because when like with the Grindr or even like hinder anything else we're like what are your preferences

top bottom versus side like let's go through No like from what I've seen from Grindr it could not be more straightforward like you know everything yep here's my penis here's everything else here's the spread cheeks

So it's just like you go through like all of the The things right away It's just like And people could be brutal They're like no Oh they 100% Again I have a hard shell Probably because I

Because of that So you and Benji talked about this immediately Or it came along later when he was like more long distance Well because we didn't date right away We were all like we started long distance But we just kind of like fell into this pattern of like constantly talking to each other and then we fell into the relationship. It was so like natural and easy that obviously we were not exclusive until way later anyway.

Or like we didn't say like put labels on it. And then once we did, we had the conversation, hey, we are away from each other for a very long extended period of time. Do we want to be in an open relationship? And for us, it was, okay, yeah, we kind of need that. And sometimes we close it and we're like, no, we're good. So if we're together. Is that when you guys are, when he's living here? Yeah.

So when we're together, you know, there's no, we're not. And I think that's the thing is I also tell anybody that like I hook up with or whatever or have hooked up with. Like, okay, well, no, like it's, it's, he's here. Like, they know. So is it like when you have an open relationship, is it for like you can have another relationship? No. Okay. So what are the terms? See, that's the thing. The terms and conditions is the most important part about this. Do you guys have a contract? We do not, but basically. Like we've laid out, we've laid out the major parts. You know what I mean? So it's, yeah, you're not going on dates with people. You're not having conversations with people. You're not. You can't even have a conversation. You have conversations.

You have conversations. Wait, let me let me rephrase that. You can have a conversation. You can have a conversation. You can have a conversation. conversation, but it can't be like deep. Okay. They cannot know your parents' names. You know what I mean? Like, let's not get to that point. You can, like, highlight some, you know, topical things. Make sure it's whatever, but like, we're not going deep into that.

And like, you're not trying to leave me for this other person. Like, it's not for that. It's for... The long distance things that... Right. It's for male things that we need to get done. So when... Because the goal is for Benji to move here.

right? And that's a really long and hard process. When he gets here, is that going to be closed off or something that you'll discuss in the future? Oh, no, we'd have to, that's a discussion. Like, I'm sure, and like, that's the thing is it's not for everybody. It's not even for every gay couple, obviously. I think it's one of those things that I also hope by showing it on the show that people realize you can have these conversations. You should be able to have these conversations with the ones you love, especially your partner. Because why are we? we allowing society to dictate how we live our lives? You have one life. And we're coming to the end of season three. You guys just filmed the reunion. How was that for you? Not going into details, but, like, how do you feel leaving season three behind? I mean, I feel any time a season's over and we can be like, you know, wash our hands of it, that's great. Because then it just feels like it's complete. We can move on because that's the one thing, again, going back to it's your real friend group. I hang out with these people every day outside.

This is my family. This is who I see every single day. I don't know if every other reality show can say that. We can. And so when you can't leave something or like we need to have. that conversation, whatever it is, on camera, because I want our show to be authentic, just like everybody else on our cast says. Then holding it, it's hard.

So when you can say, oh, we're done and now we can move on and just have fun, it is a relief. I would say the reunions are just, I will never get used to them. I can't even imagine. Well, maybe I will eventually, but. Because our, like, technically our reunions, they're live and it's like you get, maybe three minutes you're talking to the person and then it's it's done and and you guys go for hours hours and even then I was like oh I need another day like we didn't wrap anything like we like I need another day we need to do some stuff like I think when you watch the reunion you'll see that there's a lot of

really great moments I feel like it's without giving anything away because I know bravo's always listening um it it's definitely good I feel like for myself, I feel like I failed. Well, see, that's where you surprised me when you told me that, because I feel like this season, like we said, you have been so peacekeeper. You have been level-headed the entire time. And now you're saying going into the reunion,

you feel like you came out and that was like a little different. I think I just got some of the things through me. I got frazzled. And the reunions are a very specific beast. And I think, I always thought I was like, I thrive. that maybe I don't. Maybe I need a little bit more time to get ready or like not get ready but like a little bit

more time to learn how reunions really work. And I think that's what this was. Season one was kind of a blur that reunion. Season two, this one was a real learning point. And I, so, I'm sorry, season two's reunion than season three that we just did was like a learning point. So hopefully for season. I'll be good, but yeah, I don't think I, I know I wasn't the MVP, and I will say there was an MVP,

and everyone will know it who it is the second they speak. And I'm so proud of them. The MVP. So that I don't give away gender. Do you feel like, because this was, I think a season, a lot of people wanted some people to take accountability for their actions. Do you think that was had at the reunion? Do I have to drink your drink now that mine's empty to not answer the question?

So no. I'll just say when you watch it, I think you'll, I think it is you get some. Some. Okay. What was it like first reunion and I guess first season without Jacks? Oh, I mean, every, life without Jacks is great. The reunion, he, I mean, he does a reunion. Yeah, but even like when I did the first reunion, he, he,

just kept saying like don't talk like who wants to hear from you and I'm like shut like whatever I couldn't hear him because he was so far away I kind of do miss you going back and forth with him listen it is great TV it's just like his energy with Brittany will never end and she's been flourishing this season and and the thing is when when you don't have to deal with jacks which it's impossible to not deal with jacks until like that day comes um but like he is just a menace all times. Like, he's not filming the show, but he'll somehow find out what we're doing, and he will then attack Britney. Probably because he's Tom's neighbor. So he always knows what you guys are doing. No, he somehow finds out and then we'll like just attack and just like make Britney's life

harder. And with that, I'm like, you're not changing. Maybe you're sober. Maybe you're not. I'm not one to know because I'm not around you. But just it's like, until you actually stop treating Britney like that, then I can't get over anything because you're just dragging her on and not letting her heal. Zach, when's the last time? Sorry. Oh, my God. That scared the shit out of me.

I was like, where is this ominous voice coming from? It's me. I do have a quick question. Once's the last time you had any actual personal interaction with Jacks? The last time I physically was with Jacks. Oh, my God. It was the reunion. physically was the reunion.

Season two? Or season three? No, season... Season two. Season two. Season two reunion. Sorry. Season two reunion was the last time I was physically with him.

He was at Thanksgiving this past year at Brittany's house to pick up Cruz or to like, no, I'm sorry, to drop Cruz off or something. Or to help with Cruz while she was, while Brittany was cooking. But when Brittany said, just... letting you know, like, Zach and Kristen are on their way. He then might have left because he didn't want to deal with us. So I guess we scared him off. Smart man. Smart man.

It has been interesting. I mean, it's been amazing watching Brittany this season and just seeing Brittany in real life really be able to thrive. What has that been like as someone who's known her for so long? I've also known her for so long inside. this toxic, terrible, manipulative relationship

that she could not get out of. And it's not because she didn't want to. It's because she didn't know that she was fully there. He kept her in this vortex of just, I don't even know exactly, but just that she could not get out of. Would push me away, would put,

made sure she had no, not no support, but like made sure she wasn't asking for that lifeline. and to now see her take the steps one by one, and it's hard. And I wish that if there's one wish I could have, it's that America, the world, whoever, the internet, realize that this is one step, one day at a time, this is slow incremental changes.

She was beat down for 10 years. And especially for the last four to sit, it was bad. and untraining yourself and healing and learning and and allowing yourself to heal but like you have to be open to like a therapist you have to do all these you have to do work on yourself but then you have to cry and open up all these wounds that you don't want to confront that takes time and she's been doing the hard work slow like it's a slow process but to see her doing it and getting better and better and like stronger each day, it's, it's the most

beautiful thing. And I love them showing also her getting her implants out, which Jack's paid for. And now her like reclaiming her body, reclaiming everything. It's been so amazing to watch. Done. Like fully out. Done with that. Like it's just, it's been a great. I know like some people are like, it's too, whatever. I'm like, number one, she can do whatever she. wants. And also she didn't do it to like lose weight or anything. Well, she had a mommy makeover, which every mommy I think should, I think we should pay for every mommy to have a mommy maker if they want it. I agree. Because like you just created a life. Also, I kicked through my mom's stomach just like three ninja through it. Women should be able to have whatever they want

if they get birth. I ruin those abs. Right. And like the only way no weight loss, no nothing could ever get that repaired. Like that takes. a surgeon doing something. So like any woman that wants to take that journey should be allowed to do it without any stigma. And the fact that Brittany is doing it publicly to show women it's okay. Yes.

And then to have people come at her for anything is just, it's disgusting. No, and I'm similar too because I'm like, I think women should be able to do whatever they want. Like in the way that you will do things for yourself. Like, you know, I've gotten my... Whatever you want. I've gotten two breast reductions.

And like to this day, the way people will still comment on things. It's like, why are we still commenting on what people want to do with their body? So Brittany doing that in public. She's literally done everything on camera, which commend her. But that's why I think our group is so unique because I, who cares if I have, you know, I'm not a real housewife. Rintyne. Right. On camera. I'm like, I'm not renting furniture to try to make my apartment better, you know, like a real housewife will. The monster fridge is real, you guys like I've gotten a drink out of the monster fridge. You know what I mean?

Was. Rest and peace. Also like Scrotot. Like I'm going to get Scrotox on which they, oh my God, I saw a new article and it said it's called ball maxing. And I was like, no, no, no, no, no. I would not have done it had it been called ball maxing because that is not our penis maxing. So I'm like, that is not what I'm about. I'm not about this whole maxing trend like clavicular can go suck it.

Like he's terrible and a horrible role model for millions of people. people and I hate that he even exists. So no, this was not me doing that. I just thought, hey, let's have some low hangers for a while. I have a question. When you, like, for example, when you got your scrot talks, does Bravo pay for that? Um, they, so they don't pay for it. It's either I pay for it or the, the company would gift it. Um, this company happened to gift it to me. They gifted it. And what has your experience? been like after getting that. Would you recommend it? I mean, if you want to do it, I didn't feel like it was that great of a thing. They didn't really see the effects. Yeah. I mean, I think it's for,

yeah, like, it just didn't do what I really would have wanted. I was like, how good of it. Who else got it with you, Jesse? Huh? Who got it with you? No, I wish it was Jesse because Jesse would have gotten it with me. But that was when Jesse and I weren't friends really. And we weren't now Jesse and I are literally thick as thieves. I hang out with him more than I hang out with sometimes even Kristen because he'll actually go out. They won't. And Lacey as well. It's Kristen.

I mean, it's Lacey and Jesse all the time. But I went with Danny. That's right. Which looking back, I'm like trying to get Danny to do something like that. Like obviously he's not going to do it. Totally. I know. Who would you say?

Missed opportunity. Are you the closest with right now out of the cast? Like relationships ebb and flow. Yeah, for sure. It's always Brittany and Kristen at the top And Jasmine right there with It's basically the Holy Trinity of my friendship Britney and Kristen and Jasmine

Always But it really is Jesse and Lacey Like I hang out with them Every single weekend Every single week Multiple times And it's not on camera

None of it's on camera Like our friendship is And I don't think you really get to see a lot of it This season No, I don't think you have. You only, yeah, you only get to see me and Jesse like going out once, but our friendship is really, like, deep. Love horror movies, but also working on yourself.

It was gorgeous. And we had so many bachelor people there. Who was there? I can't. I was like, I can't name them all. But we had a bunch of, it was funny because it was like we had Bachelor people. We had people from DCC from making the team. Which is crazy because I forgot that she was on DCC. Yeah. She's been on every reality show. Like, think of. We didn't have any of her people from X on the Beach. Thank God. She was on that. And then I'm missing one. Am I? No, that's it. Bravo. Yeah. Bravo, DCC Bachelor. So you guys were all a big happy family at the wedding. Yeah. It was fun. It was great. Beautiful. So beautiful. So this estate called like Cross Keys in New Jersey, which apparently everybody has heard of that's like up there because it's a very pretty place. Because I keep getting DMs like, is this a cross keys?

Yeah. Oh my gosh. Well, it looked fantastic. And you looked fantastic. So good. Was there a dress code for that wedding? Did everybody have to wear black? So they had technically told us black tie, but then didn't really mention.

black tie and then I forgot to tell Benji that it was black tie. It was black tie and you had to wear the color black. No. It was just black, like very fancy. I guess, but then I think, I don't know if it was translated right. Because the wedding party wore black, right? Well, we wore, I wore a tux. Yeah. So what did Benji show up in? I forgot to tell him it was black tie. But he, honestly, he killed it because everybody's like, oh my God, I love him. his style. Like, it's amazing. Perfect. So it worked out. And I don't think all the guests got that memo. Thank God. Because then a lot of people didn't show up in black tie. Maybe it was black tie optional. Maybe it was black tie. I, unfortunately, I did not go through the debutante etiquette. So I

never understood what any of that meant. And I definitely did not relay that to Benji. So. But you did get to meet some Bachelor Nation alumni. Well, I've known some of them for a long time. Like, Danielle. DeLo. Mm-hmm. Known her forever. Alexis, you said? Alexis was there.

So there's a lot of people, Rachel Lindsay. There was a lot of people that I've either, I've just known throughout the years because of Jasmine. Because of Jasmine. Who wedding parties harder? Bachelor franchise or Bravo? Well, I wouldn't know the answer to that question because I was black out. Me, Genevieve will get married and then we can know the difference. Oh my God, you guys, no, if you and Genevieve got married, here's what it would be.

Then we would do, because I guess you probably thought there was. We would do all of the events. And Genevieve would be there for all of them. And then she's like, I'm too old for them. I'm like, you were, bitch, you were 10 years younger than me. Like, what do you mean? You're too old for this. I was like, how dare you?

She's embodying the spirit of the valley. No, she's. I know. giving enough credit to drinking at home in your PJs. Anyways, we need to move on to our game. Wait, the last thing, though, it's like hocus pocus, where it's like, come little children, I'll take the away. Not true.

But yes, it is. That is what the valley does. They say, come adults, I'll take the fun away into the land of the valley. That's what it is. You were on a show of the valley, so please put some respect to the valley. Okay, but I don't live there. Okay, we are going to move on to a very fun game called Spill the Valley Tea. These are rapid fire and I'm like thinking like long, um, the worst roommate, oh, it would be, I'm thinking of who I can't control. Um, because I was like, Kristen would be, like we would get a lot. She just pay for every, like she'd pay for a cleaner so I wouldn't have to worry about that. Jesse would do it himself. Tom shorts. No, he would be amazing. We would be out all the time. That'd probably be bad for us just in general. I would say the worst would be Michelle.

I'd get bored. Okay. Who surprised you the most this season? Surprise me the most? I will say Lacey. But in the best way possible and also she's, I love her to death. So it's like in a positive way.

Who's the biggest red flag in the friend group? We all know who it is. So I'm just going to take a sip. Not a sip. Who would you never want to date? Like who's the worst in relationships? Well, I can't date myself. So it's Kristen.

If every single person on the cast of the valley was single, who would be the best bachelor or bachelor? Ooh, can I choose one of each? Yeah, actually. I would, number one, just even besides the fact that Brittany is single, Brittany. I think. Brittany's season would be so fun. It would be so fun because she's such a good time. Also, she has such a diverse, like, men in general.

Like, it's all areas of life. So you could pull in, she's not going to make fun of the car mechanic versus even the, you know, the millionaire. Like, I don't know how it usually goes, but she doesn't care about that. So I think she'd be the best bachelorette. And as far as Bachelor, I mean, could you imagine Jesse? Like, that would just be the most unhinged season. period, like just insane. I would also love to see a world in which there could be a Tom Schwartz bachelor and he

like can't decide. It would be the worst. We would never have a rose ceremony. No, he would never let anybody leave. No, someone would cry and he's like, no, you can say. Can you imagine? That's what I'm saying. That'd be so entertaining.
