How are you enjoying the West Coast, the Pacific Northwest, I should say? I love it. It's a beautiful place.
Starting point is 00:01:15 There's some rain and some cloud coverage, which I was very much looking forward to because LA has been a nightmare of heat and sweat and rash if you have my skin. so it's been really, really nice to get up here. Massive rash warning for tall, pasty, white Jews in the... Exima and all the folds. Be sure to wear your... Steroids cream at all time, point, point. And there will be massive chafing on Matt Leib's thighs,
Starting point is 00:01:53 and massive chafing on Matt Leaves, underarms, and also on Matt Lebes, butt cheeks. Shout out to Frankie McDonald's who's really gotten on the air. video train recently. Though this is a special bonus episode because this is the weekend before, this Labor Day weekend, which means that for Tuesday, this episode will be unlocked because we're not, we're not recording on my day. We don't give ourselves a lot of holidays off,
Starting point is 00:02:44 but this time, this time we are. Yeah. So this is... But if you'd been a Patreon piggy, you could have gotten at Friday night, or Saturday morning at the latest. And this is also a rare thing, all right? We don't have to do this.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Don't get used to it. Don't get used to it. If you want to get used to it, Patreon.com slash bad as barra. This is our equivalent of Mr. Brin saying a slop-filled piggy is a happy piggy.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Give the fools their tartar sauce. Yes. This is your tartar sauce. This is your tartar sauce for this Tuesday. And for those of you who are watching on a Friday, hi. Hello.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Thank you for joining. We love you. We love all of our patrons. Also, Monday and Tuesday, you should come out to Helium Comedy Club in Portland. See myself. See my wife. Sorry. And we're doing stand-up.
Starting point is 00:03:37 We're doing a live-bituation room. It'll be really, really fun. It's a great venue. Everyone speaks with high, squeaky voices. Very high voice. That's right. And it floats. Today's episode is brought to you by Gaza Champions.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Gaza Champions is a mutual aid initiative that connects global volunteers with Gaza and families in need. Each volunteer is paired with a family's fundraiser and supports it through creative online and offline efforts. Champions also build a personal connection by becoming pen pals with the family they support. This initiative is about more than just fundraising. It transforms passive solidarity into active resistance. You can join right now by going to champion gaza.xy-Z that's c-h-a-m-p-I-O-N-G-A-Z.X-Y-Z. Please join. Please give them money. They need it more than we do. Daniel. Yeah, man. What's the spend? Well, first, I got to make a
Starting point is 00:04:39 big enhancement about what's the spin. I just found this out today. I was wondering why the playlist hadn't been updated in a few weeks. And then I took a look at the playlist description. It's maxed out at 10,000 songs. Apparently, there's a playlist limit, which is wild. I didn't know there was, I didn't know you could break the playlists. We did. just like, sorry, there's too much, guys. So Dr. Kick has started up, What's the Spin Playlist Part 2? And the link will also be in the description.
Starting point is 00:05:06 We'll have two links. That's so wild. I mentioned this record on the last episode. This is, Zarface meets Frankie Pulitzer, aka Tom Hardy. Dude, I heard a little bit of it. He sounds great.
Starting point is 00:05:20 He's not doing a British crime voice, though. No, well, at one point, he does a monologue from Richard III in a... British accent, but other than that, no, he's doing a Brooklyn accent. Dude, it's crazy because it sounds really good and he's got a terrific flow and cadences, and I was like, damn, I'm shocked. But also, I want him to be, you know, East London Grime guy.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Yeah, that would be, for at least one song. It would have been nice. At least one song, or Bain, you know. Yeah. Yeah. My name is Bain and I'm here to say I broke Batman's back in a major way. Have you seen Locke? Have you seen the film Locke? I don't think so. It's a film, I guess a small budget film. It's him, like an indie film, I think.
Starting point is 00:06:10 It's Tom Hardy in a car for close to two hours, talking on the phone the entire time, trying to manage multiple crises as he drives somewhere that he has to get to. So it's this time compressed. Crisis in cars on calls, drinking coffee? That's right. Okay. Cockneys in cars. He's not cockneys and cars.
Starting point is 00:06:32 He plays up, no, contractors in cars. He's a contractor. Contracts. Trying to deal. No, it's incredible. It's very tense. It's wonderful acting. Just close up on his face as he drives from one British town to another trying to get somewhere.
Starting point is 00:06:46 I won't give away why. So that's Frankie Pulitzer meets Zarface. So I thought, okay, Pulitzer, what are the awards can I channel here? What are their awards? Because the Pulitzer Prize, right? That's who I got next. The Oscar Peterson Trio, the Canadian Suite. Oscar Peterson, who just would have been 100 last month,
Starting point is 00:07:07 great Canadian piano player, one of the greatest jazz pianists of all time. Canadian Suite has one of my favorite jazz tunes of all time, plus Saint-Henari named after a Montreal location. So that's Oscar. Then we've got the Emmys, for which I've got Emmy Lou Harris. Ah, yes, of course.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Yeah, I was wondering who's your Emmy. Yeah. I could have done Eminem, but I didn't. But I could have. I didn't, but I could. But I could have. Wrecking Ball, produced by Daniel Lenovo. Then the Tonys, so I went with Ghost Face Killer, the Pretty Tony album.
Starting point is 00:07:48 That's Pretty Tony, one of his nicknames, right? Tony Stark. Yeah, I didn't know that, but that's good. I like that. Yeah. and then getting a little more esoteric esoteric actually being one of the names of one of the members of Scarface
Starting point is 00:08:04 Zarface I should say not Scarface Ever heard of the Razies? Of course Yeah, the awards for worst movie of the year Bad movies, yeah So I got Raspberry Beret Which is on Around the World in a Day by Prince I was hoping that Ross Trent
Starting point is 00:08:22 Had put out a full album But a ding ding ding ding ding whoa this is the second time i think in a row we've mentioned rostra trent in this we never we never miss an opportunity you know on miss me champion sound are you there are you there jay it's me rostrand um and then finally i was like he's got me on your bike path of righteousness that's what what does he say about his parents uh uh uh baldhead parents. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:57 I forget what it is. Yeah. I told my phobococ parents I was switching religions. God damn it. Oh, it's so good. It's very good. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Grammy. I was like, who do I have Grammy? Well, Julie Dwyeron, a Canadian singer, has a song called Grammy, but I don't have that album. Grand Parsons.
Starting point is 00:09:16 I've already featured the Flying Berita Brothers in Buffalo Springfield. So I thought, okay, I don't have Grammy. Then I thought, are there any Canadian awards? Okay,
Starting point is 00:09:24 the Juno Awards. Well, I don't have the Juno soundtrack. Okay. But then I thought, okay, well, Jew? No. And I thought, who do we think is Jewish, but not? Well, I've already done Fiddler on the roof, directed by No Jew's Bob Dylan's Christian album, Slow Train Coming. Jew? No. Jew? No, not this time. Not this time, folks. This time, Christian. Christian. It's a great album, actually. Got to serve somebody on it, and Slow Train. some really good shit on here. So that's the spin for today.
Starting point is 00:09:59 And I will also say, please go to, on Instagram, if you are on Instagram or TikTok. Middle School Mysteries. Middle School Mysteries. Middle School Mysteries Musical is the handle on Instagram. Middle School Mysteries.com is the website. Sign up to find out more about my musical, the album of which is coming out at the end of this month. I can't wait to get my grubby pause on the vinyl. So excited for that as well.
Starting point is 00:10:22 All right. It is time to start our episode. we're doing things a little different this week because this week our guest is going to come halfway through. So for now it's just myself and Daniel Mate and producer Adam, shout out to him, he's on vacation.
Starting point is 00:10:38 Well deserved. Well deserved vacation for Adam. We wish him well. So shout out also to editor Brent on the twos and threes. He's out here. He's editing and he's going to have to do this one without all the time code. So enjoy.
Starting point is 00:10:52 And you're all going to have to enjoy it without any lower thirds to punctuate our. That's right. Our jokes or SCAR references thrown in there, you know. Or to tell us, uh, we're doing a bad job. You know, Matt, you know what that means? We can do as many voices as we want today. That's right.
Starting point is 00:11:08 Oh, man. I can't wait to bust out my cholo voice finally. Oh, sort. We are going to. Never mind. No, no, no. Uh, okay fuckers. It's time to talk about some bad has barra with all U.S.A's.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Um, I, want to start off. That's right. We're Vato's and we're local. And we have a lot to talk about. A lot of things have happened. One of the things that has happened is a real. This is just one of those stories that is a bummer and a continuing blight upon our government, which is they continue to pass laws.
Starting point is 00:11:54 that make it illegal to be mad at Israel for things. And they passed one recently. The House of Representatives recently passed the Protect Economic and Academic Freedom Act of 26. Which is not what it sounds like. Oh, it's weird. Isn't that weird? They should name it not that.
Starting point is 00:12:15 They passed it overwhelmingly. This aims to block federal student aid and funding to colleges and universities that participate in commercial or academic boycotts of Israel. This was co-sponsored by Virginia Fox of Aza. She is a North Carolina Republican and, of course, Representative Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey. They co-sponsored the bill. This is how it passed with two Republicans being against it.
Starting point is 00:12:51 and with 33 Democrats breaking from party lines to vote for it. So it did end up passing. That's what put it over the top? Oh, of course. I mean, you know, that's the thing is that the Democrats are, you're like, oh, man, we almost,
Starting point is 00:13:11 we almost stopped it. What can you do? What can you do? Well, apparently Republicans can get literally everyone but two to vote for something. Oh, shit. We almost tipped the spread in the favor of the thing we didn't bet on. Well, we tried. Thank you, Republicans and Democrats for being the same party. So there was a reporter from Dropsite who went to Capitol Hill and was interviewing
Starting point is 00:13:45 some of the people, some of the congresspeople about this bill. I believe so. It was one of them, one of them guys. And I wanted to play it just so we could see these interviews that he did with some of our lawmakers who decided to pass this nonsense. So this is Representative Hillary Schlotton, a Democrat from Michigan. Shulton. Shlotton has had a thing or two to say about the rise of Abdul Al-Sahed, to say least. So here is her talking about this bill, which restricts people's ability to boycott.
Starting point is 00:14:25 You know, members of our Jewish community back home. What does the Jewish community in Michigan have to do with Israel or divesting from Israeli? Well, I mean, aren't those separate things in Michigan? I mean, I think the Jewish people have a right to safe and democratic homeland in Israel. So I think they do have an interest in it. The people in Michigan. Yes, exactly. So shouldn't you be facilitated?
Starting point is 00:14:48 shouldn't you be passing a law? Okay, perfect. Thank you. Oh, it's Julian andaroni, yeah. So shouldn't you be passing a law to facilitate emigration of Jewish-Michiganders to their safe and democratic homeland? I mean, it's just so funny to actually receive some pushback. How to answer the question?
Starting point is 00:15:07 Wait, how does this relate to Jewish Michiganders? Are Jewish-Michiganders in lockstep with supporting the destruction of democracy? at home to further the democracy, quote, unquote, in Israel? And she's like, who are you again? Yeah, exactly. No Washington journalist I know would ask that question. Yeah, exactly. No one would ever fall.
Starting point is 00:15:31 No one would ever dare say anything to me about this if it were, you know, if it weren't for drop site. And it's, I mean, you know, to be honest, you know, she's right. No one would. Here's some more of this video. Thank you. Drop sites Julian Andrione here. a bill is coming up for a vote in the House that if passed, would deny federal funding to any university that made the decision to divest from Israel, Israeli companies or Israeli institutions, including those in the occupied West Bank.
Starting point is 00:15:58 So to be clear, this has passed now. It is past the House, but it is, it's not yet, you know, it's got to go through the Senate, it's got to go to the president. I have a bad feeling about the bill. The settlements. I wanted to ask members of Congress, is there any constitutional standing for a measure like this that makes federal funding for universities, that makes federal funding for universities? contingent on their investments in a private capacity and their support for a foreign government. I mean, if the bill was targeting a dissent towards our government, that would be totalitarian in its own right. But why is this angled towards a foreign government? Let's see what they had to say. And look, you know, why would we be denying federal funding? Oh, she's back.
Starting point is 00:16:36 I'm really happy to, I'm genuinely happy to see her. I thought we wouldn't see her again. She's growing on me. I really, I just kind of feel fuzzy towards this woman. There's a sweetness. there's a sweetness to her that Daniel just can't help. She's so little. You know what it is?
Starting point is 00:16:52 You're like, I want to fix her. I can tell. Deep inside, you're like, no, there's like, it's like Luke Skywalker cradling his father right before he dies. And he's like, I can save you. You already have. With a little bit of stick to it in this. All right. To universities that divest from the Israeli companies.
Starting point is 00:17:15 I mean, what constitutional grounds are there for them? Well, look, we had a, you know, a very thorough committee process on it. And, you know, I have already been on the record on this. And frankly, I am deeply concerned with a lot of the funds that come into our universities from abroad. Okay. What about the funds from abroad? Federal government. I mean, should those be contingent on investments that the university is making their private capacity?
Starting point is 00:17:41 I think this is a pretty bipartisan bill. And I would really encourage you to go back and watch the committee here. hearing on it and you know I think it's uh uh certainly the step in the right direction no hold on just you know you asked me about the constitutional all those constitutional grounds came to me in my dreams that's right yeah and they explain themselves real good and they stuck it to me yeah and not unlike most dreams that I have uh I've forgotten it upon waking so I can't really explain exactly what the grounds are constitutionally. But I woke up by humming hatikva to myself.
Starting point is 00:18:24 That's right. Here's Thomas Massey talking a bit about it as well. Anti-BDS bill a few years ago that I voted against because it tried to tell states and private entities what they could do. We just got dragged into a word by Benjamin Netanyahu. He's bragging about it. This is Representative Mark Pogan. Pocan.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Pocan. And yeah, he's a Democratic rep. It's embarrassing as you can get. That's Donald Trump. So let's leave universities alone. Let's leave others alone. Let's respect everyone. And maybe get rid of the stupid Sharia law caucus while you're at it.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I understand it. Politics plays into a lot. Okay, no, this is Representative Greg Lansman from Ohio. This is a great answer. I really am excited for this one. These issues, but like some issues should be off limits. Anti-Semitism, just leave it alone. Anti-Semitism or Israel?
Starting point is 00:19:25 Either one. I mean, you know, a foreign policy, anti-Semitism, both should have remained a bipartisan issue. I think we need to- What does he mean? It's just like, you know, there's just some things that should never be talked about or discussed, which is our continuing relationship with Israel to a degree. which even our voters don't want us to do it. Like, there's some things that just should remain sort of like as a given.
Starting point is 00:19:53 You know, all Americans love pizza, you know. We like to say free speech and chant USA. We like to give billions of dollars of aid to Israel and to punish any institution that dares try to boycott it for doing war crimes. You know, America's stuff. Yeah. Very cool. What a cool guy.
Starting point is 00:20:13 I think we need to deny a lot of funding to you. This is Nancy Mace. I mean, they waste a lot of money. They do animal testing. She's just excited. She's just excited that money's being... No, that money's being defunded. You know, her, she ran on, like, defund the colleges.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Right, exactly. She's tired of woke. So she's like, whatever we can do to destroy college is good with me. She's covering her arms. Isn't she the one with the new tattoos? You know, I thought she had... those tattoos as well. Maybe she's decided to be a little bit more modest. She looked at Federman and said, they're not going to get me that way.
Starting point is 00:20:51 You know, we got Qatar and, you know, we got all this stuff indoctrination in our schools. I think we need to look at a lot of funding. I just saw she was holding a little pooch. Yeah, she's holding the dog. She was like, sorry, I got to go. I got to kill this dog later. All right. So here's Maggie Goodlander. We had landsmen and we have Goodlander. These guys are really into land.
Starting point is 00:21:12 They love land. They're land man. All right, here we go. Tyler Sheridan. Institutions, especially those in the West Bank. Can you just give me your name and I would love to talk to you about it? But I actually have a constituent who's waiting for me. Oh, man. I just wanted to hear.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Her name is Miriam Adelson. Yeah, exactly. I have a constituent who is waiting for me. And it's just a caricature of a Jew sitting on a large pile of cash. Very good. Oh my God. Yeah, so I mean, this bill in and of itself is part of a process that's been going on for a while to try to make it illegal to do boycotts. But this one is like particularly heinous because it is using the Higher Education Act of 1965.
Starting point is 00:22:08 And, you know, it's using that. It's an amendment to it in order to. stop the, yeah, to stop any sort of cultural boycott, not just like a boycott, you know, financially, not just divestment, but cultural boycotts as well. And, and, you know, it's, it doesn't affect their grants. It just strips the university of the ability to accept federal student loans and Pell grants, which is insane. That'll help, that'll help the debt crisis. in this country. Yeah, for sure. So, you know, it's this, it's just one of those things where you just see the way in which you've got what is purportedly a sea change in Congress or in the sort of like
Starting point is 00:23:00 political psyche of America. And not unlike the Israeli tactic of, you know, start a war and then claim more land by, you know, declaring a ceasefire and then running as fast as you can to capture more land before the official start of the ceasefire. It's almost like before November comes, we need to pass as many laws as possible to make it illegal to be mad at Israel. You know, it's an insane thing that we all have to witness every, you know, every month now at this point, just some new bit of legislation that is restricting people's ability to just criticize one thing. Just one very specific thing, not a big deal, the state of Israel. They can do and say whatever they want.
Starting point is 00:23:52 You're not allowed to treat them like you would have if they were South Africa. There's also one more bill that just passed in California. Can I talk to you about it real quick, Daniel? Absolutely. And then we're going to take a break and we're going to talk. to our dear friend Cameron Caskey. But first, I want to talk to you about this bill. The California legislator just passed the Senate bill 1387,
Starting point is 00:24:17 which recognizes Jewish identity as an ethnicity in California law and data. Hooray! It's the first state in the nation to recognize Jews as Jews. Pronouns always slash they. Yeah. I mean, I think you were right last episode where you said pronouns are they slash them. We slash us. We slash us.
Starting point is 00:24:42 They slash them. So yes. Oh, I'm just a bill. Us, I'm only a bill. And I was written by a Zionist chill. Chill. Oh, 10 out of 10. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:59 So this bill. She'll have a rock. Very good. And this is some tweets just talking about it. So California lawmakers in the last few hours, of California's 2026 legislative session on Monday passed an anti-defamation league-backed bill to classify Jews as a race, according to the JTA. October 7th turned the leading anti-racist groups in open Jewish ethnic nationalist fostering. Yeah. So this is him just talking about how the ADL is completely, you know, become, you know, not at all like, hey, we're about anti-racist. and just about, you know, Jewish ethno-nationalism.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Lead expert witness, Dr. Joseph Mangala, confirmed that the racial characteristics are in the DNA. It's incontrovertible. It is so crazy to be like, oh, we did it, everybody. We're now making lists of Jews, not by their religious affiliation, but no, purely based on ethnographic data. This is... I've always felt a little left out on census,
Starting point is 00:26:08 censuses. Sensai. Sensei. Sense. I'm like, why isn't Ashkenazi Jewish a census category? I think it's worth, it's worth recording. Look, I, it's not, I don't personally have an issue with the idea of, you know, a lot of people, I think, look at any sort of like Jewish ethnicity talk as a concession to Zionism.
Starting point is 00:26:35 And I've not ever been one of those people. I think it's a stupid conversation. Have you ever seen a Jewish face? I mean, but even beyond that, it's like the conversation then becomes, you're muting what, if this is from an anti-Zionist perspective, like Jews, you know, they're not an ethnicity or whatnot, then you kind of lose the ethno-nationalist argument of it because, you know, by that definition, of just a religion. If that was how Jews define themselves, then you would have anyone with the ability to convert. But no, there is very much a blood, you know, quotient like part of it. You know,
Starting point is 00:27:21 it is not a, it's not simply a religion. However, I understand the need to distance yourself from the, yeah, I guess the race science of it all, which you're right. It is race. So here's all the institutions that are past this. This is the Jewish community is united. These are the people who are working for it. And it's just all of, you know, you got the AJC, you got the ADL, you got the JFS, you got JFED LA, you got JVS. That's CVS for Jews, I believe. You've got Halel, of course.
Starting point is 00:28:01 It's just all antihistamines. That's right. We need more allergy medicine. Yeah, you've got Jewish Family Service, LA, Jewish Federation, all of these institutions that are backing this type of thing. I went on the website and Jewish California. It says, we were never just a religion. SB 1387 would make California the first state in the nation
Starting point is 00:28:28 to recognize Jewish identity as an ethnicity in law. And my favorite, there's a little part of it a little menu item that just says the hard questions. And it's essentially just an entire section that goes, look, I know what this looks like. I know it seems a lot like we're doing Nuremberg laws, but positively, but we're not, okay? Like the hard questions in a website about like Jewish ethnicity is like,
Starting point is 00:29:02 are you talking about a Jewish question? because that's kind of what it seems like. Does one of the hard questions involve, you know, are Ethiopian Jews part of the same ethnicity as Hungarian Jews? Yes. Are Yemenite Jews part of the same ethnicity as Lithuanian Jews? It answers that in sort of a roundabout way. It goes like, look, a lot of Jews of color have been forced to, you know,
Starting point is 00:29:31 just put black on their, you know, census. data or just put like Latino. Or other. Or other. They've been forced to literally other themselves. They were othering themselves. And now they can check off both black and Jewish two distinct and different things. There's like something about it where they're just like, no, it's okay. We would love to also have the list include people who are guilty of miscegenation. There's there is no good way to do lists of Jews by race. And this is where we're at now. This is where the discourse around Israel has gotten to.
Starting point is 00:30:16 It's like we are now at the point where in order to sort of be like, you know, I'm a proud Jew. You are just taking Jewish race science and making it your own and spinning it in a positive way. and and yeah that's just that's it that's i don't i don't know i don't know where to go from here at this point woke nuremberg laws is not not a place i wanted to be i mean look nuremberg one was crazy nuremberg one was crazy dog nuremberg one really was oh man yeah so these are these are the bills that have been passed or these are bills that will be passed most likely and I'm sure there will be more. The Ruffalo Bills.
Starting point is 00:31:04 No, it doesn't quite work. It doesn't quite work. I get it. Yeah, but it just doesn't have, it doesn't go anywhere. Did you, did you see all the names that signed on to the Ruffalo letter?
Starting point is 00:31:16 Yes, I noticed that I wasn't one of them. Katie Halper got asked to do it. My dad got asked to do it. Fucking Jasper Nathaniel got asked to do it. You know, and Mozer got asked to do it. Like, how hard would it be to find this podcast and ask the two of us?
Starting point is 00:31:30 Well, they did, I did finally get someone from artist or ceasefire reach out and say, would you like to sign this? And I told them, I told them no. I said, no, he's an anti-Semite, right? No. And I said yes to it, of course. And then I checked the list and I wasn't there. And I was like, come on, guys.
Starting point is 00:31:50 The problem is, is they asked me after the list had been published. And I was like, well, now it's useless. I want to be part of the list, not just. just some tacked on after the fact bullshit. We were pro-ruff level before anyone else was. Yeah, he can count on wheat. That's right. That's right. Yeah, so that's, those are the bills.
Starting point is 00:32:15 I'm very, I feel like, you know, I'm in this room right now, and I'm being very loud. Am I being too loud? Not for my taste. That is the bills that are happening. We have to take. a quick break. But everyone, please stick around because we're going to have a guest. Listen to these ads. And we'll be right back. And we're back. This is Badass Barra, the
Starting point is 00:32:47 world's most moral podcast. And we have a guest for the second half. We've never done that before, Daniel. I know. No, it's cool to switch it up. I know. We come straight from the break into a guest. And that's what we're doing now. He is a returning Bad Hezbarra champion you already know him. You already love him. Ladies and gentlemen and everyone else, welcome back to the podcast, Cameron Kasky. Hey, fellas. What's going on? It's so good to see your face. How you doing? Oh, living the dream. What's up with y'all?
Starting point is 00:33:22 Nothing. Same, you know, just kind of podcasting through all of the bad of the world, you know? Did you guys see that, uh, do you guys see the Gal Godot's mac and cheese company got acquired? Yes. I heard about this. Goods. Which Susan Abolowalas and her eyes interpreted, added an extra S at the end, Goodless. Nice. Yeah, look, I obviously would have never tried any of that because that would be breaking BDS and that's not something that I do. But hypothetically, if I had really good.
Starting point is 00:33:55 Great, goodles of noodles. They're very good. And now they belong to pasta giant baria. I've never had mac and cheese in my life, not from a package. What? I don't eat certain kinds of cheese. And the cheeses that go into mac and cheese are one of them. I've just never had it.
Starting point is 00:34:11 You never had a craft dinner, never had which Canadians love. Okay, but what about Poutine? Have you had Poutine? You're Canadian. You legally have had it without the cheese curds. It just kind of grosses me out. Are you allergic to cheese? I'm not.
Starting point is 00:34:27 I love all Italian cheeses. But there's just something about the, anyway, it doesn't matter. We don't have to get into it. There feels something, I don't know what, but it feels racist. It feels, I don't know why. It's like you're racist. Well, but it keeps me away from BDS list. That's good.
Starting point is 00:34:46 Orange, you know, mac and cheese products owned by bad at AI actresses, AI actresses who now have new movies coming out about Bitcoin. Bitcoin AI actresses Galcadot. Oh no, give me the noodles. We need to talk about some things. Cameron, I want to ask, have you seen any of the clips from the Republican Jewish Coalition? Is this familiar to you? I'm about to break something on Bad Hezbar that I've never broken before.
Starting point is 00:35:23 Yes. I believe it's the president or maybe like the chief something officer. I don't, I think it's the president is my cousin. The president of the Republican Jewish Committee coalition. Is his name Michael? Is the president's name Michael? His name, and I have it right here. Oh, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:35:47 So I know there's a chairman named Norm Coleman. And the president, let's find out, hey, GROC! Norm Coleman is a Minnesota senator. I don't know. I'm pretty sure his... This is obviously a very close relative. CEO. Wow. The CEO. Look at that. So you're, you're an insider. Yeah. I mean, you're a, you're a Jewish insider. Just like that's the name of the publication is not me. Make it,
Starting point is 00:36:18 nope, that's what it's called. Yeah. So I didn't know this until maybe a year or two ago when my grandma told me. But, and she didn't even tell me like in response to anything I was saying publicly or anything like that. We were going through an old photo album and she was showing me her grandma or her great Anne or something and was just talking about everybody that descended from that family line and it was just like she's married to the CEO of the Republican Jewish Coalition. Was there some subtext of when are you going to amount to something like your cousins? Yeah, exactly. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Usually when a grandmother tells you about some relative, it's a Jewish grandmother. It's to kind of. It's to shame you. Yeah. In a subtle yet unsubtle way. Listen, guys, I'm betting he became CEO of the Republican Jewish Coalition at later than 25. So I've still got some time. That's right. Yeah, that's right. You're very young. You have your whole life ahead of you to sell out to the Republican Jewish Coalition. But until then, I want to show some clips from it. First of all, we've talked a lot on the show about the, I don't know, there's a lot of these conferences with a blue background in which, you know, they're either, you know, that sometimes it's the, uh, uh, AJC, American, uh, Jewish, uh, council, I believe. Coalition. Uh, or, or coalition, lots of Jewish coalitions. Or the Jewish, or the Jewish press syndicate. That's my favorite name. Yeah, Jewish press syndicate. Uh, there's a lot of these where, and usually they, they are, uh, giant live events, um, that take place at the 92nd
Starting point is 00:37:56 street Y for some fucking reason. Um, and the, um, and the, the, um, the, um, the, um, The entire crowd is other pro-Israel Jews and non-Jews. And the panel is all pro-Israel Jews. And what they do is they talk to each other and say, out in the open, kind of the most bonkers shit you've ever heard. As if there's not a camera recording them, as if in any other context, it sounds normal, which it never does. I have to say this has got to be one of the weirdest ones. The Republican Jewish Coalition is like the 92nd Street Y videos on steroids. People have said some wild shit, and I just want to play just a few of them for you.
Starting point is 00:38:41 This is a compilation that Ziteo put together of just a few of the participants at the Republican Jewish Coalition. Here we go. It's not a genocide. It's a fake asylum. And then there's the left strange obsession with Israel. This is Senator Dave McCormick from Pennsylvania. Yeah. Opening with fake aside is always, that's good.
Starting point is 00:39:07 As a podcast that purvey, I think we are purveyor of puns. Fake aside, not my favorite. Not a serial rapist. I'm a serial fakesist. Oh, God. I know nothing about him. Halfway around the world. if they spent half that energy
Starting point is 00:39:27 solving problems here at home, they might actually get something done. That's an interesting statement. Pause for a second. I really like that. If they spent half as much of that energy at home as they do on that, they'd actually get something solved.
Starting point is 00:39:42 For a second, I could have thought he was talking about himself and this entire... And you as Zionists. Bro, imagine. Imagine. if the Congress spent half of the energy they spent pretending that their constituents are Zionists. Imagine if they spent half as much of their like leg day energy on standing up and down and
Starting point is 00:40:10 basically doing like power squats for Benjamin Netanyahu with standing ovations. Instead, they got down in the dirt with their fellow Americans and tried to build something here. Yeah, maybe, I don't know, health care. That would be sick. Here we go. In their heads. Hassan Piker? I go, man.
Starting point is 00:40:28 He called Israel Jewish ISIS. ISIS is an ideology. And you see ISIS flags flying in different places in the Middle East and Europe and probably a few college campuses. I don't know if there's one in Gracie Mansion, but there's ISIS flags that are around there. It's not a genocide. It's a fake aside. That's what it is. It's a total and utter lie.
Starting point is 00:40:47 It's like saying that the earth is flat. Israel did not perpetrate a genocide. Hold on. the earth is not flat, but Gaza now is. Yeah. Thanks to the quote unquote fake aside. It's like saying that the earth is scorched. It's like saying that the earth is flattened.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Yeah. I mean, just this gets progressively more disgusting as we go on, but here is, speaking of discussing, Randy Fine, representative from Daytona Beach, talking at the Republican Jewish coalition. How hard it must be for our fellow Jews to exist in a party where so many openly seek their extermination. Zoran Mandani has called many of you in this room
Starting point is 00:41:34 who participate in American politics, quote, monsters, who use your money to, quote, turn us against each other. We need to make Judea and Samaria great again. Don't ever use a term West Bank. bank and don't believe all the noise about all the settler violence. It's a thousand and one. That's Bruce Pearl, some kind of basketball coach. So I don't want to jump right into a topic that we have not started yet, but it just behooves
Starting point is 00:42:04 me to point out. Did you guys see the tweet that anti-Antai Zionist thought leader Adam Lewis Klein put out this week suggesting that settler violence was a false flag? Oh, I did. Yeah, very much so. You know, I was texting. interesting friend of the show, Jasper Nathaniel, about this. Because I was like, you know, if there's anybody who listens to this show that isn't that
Starting point is 00:42:30 locked into left-wing Twitter, which I'm sure there are very few of you, but bless your hearts, there was this thing that happened where a lot of people on the left were being forced to reconcile with some of the more 2020 political positions they had taken before, whether that's prison abolition, police defunding. abolition of the border. And there's this sort of, I don't want to say civil war that's a little dramatic, but there's this infighting right now on the left,
Starting point is 00:42:56 basically on do we need to concede certain things because that's how you win elections. And we are finally on the cusp being able to obtain material power. We cannot give that up on these things versus other people on the left saying, hey, I joined this. I joined the DSA because I did not want to see any ground. I joined this because the whole thing was a better world. as possible. Now you're punishing me for wanting a world where we don't put people in cages and where
Starting point is 00:43:22 we don't. And one of the things that was used to sort of dispel these critiques of these more hardcore positions was Councilman Chiosay from Brooklyn saying, woke one was crazy. Yes. Yes. And AOC went on to say woke one was crazy on television. Now, I happen to understand why people critique that line and say that it's you're basically suggesting these policies are crazy when they're just advocating for a better one. I happen to agree that woke one was crazy, but I just wanted to give the context. So I texted Jasper, like, I can't believe we used to say that settler violence was bad. It's obviously a false flag. Zionism one was crazy. Yes. Zionism one was crazy. Like it was, we do not support the settler or the pioneer violence and, you know,
Starting point is 00:44:15 the pioneers do not speak for us. And then it was, it's not actually happening. They're making it up. And then it sort of horseshoeed back into it is happening, but it's a false flag. But it's a false flag. Right. Yeah. And whatever you think about woke one or however you define it, AOC's little move is so,
Starting point is 00:44:35 it's just so transparently a way of just. dismissing something. Because like if people have pointed out, if woke one was crazy, well then which of your positions do you now disclaim? Like what did you get wrong? And so I'm a,
Starting point is 00:44:47 it's a very effective thing. Ha, ha, ha, it was crazy. Ten years from now, you'll have fucking, I don't know, Israel cats or Yirlepeed or being,
Starting point is 00:44:57 on like, you know, CNN, CNN panels being, oh, genocide one was crazy. You know, things happened.
Starting point is 00:45:05 You know, the fog of occupation. You know. Defending the, obviously them fully expanding into the Sinai Peninsula. Of course. Yeah. Right. Greater Israel One was crazy.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Greater Israel one was crazy. That's all we wanted to do is just get the West Bank and Gaza. Can you make that the title of this episode? Please. We don't take guests. We do not. We do not take suggestions for titles. Not for titles, man.
Starting point is 00:45:32 That's our department. We'll decide. It's pretty good. It's pretty good. No, that is very good. That is very good. Yeah, no, it is, it's interesting watching where this lines up with Adam Lewis Klein. And we're going to get into, not only did we read that tweet, Cameron, or series of tweets in which he basically does, you know, the moon landing was fake, but for settlers doing violence on camera.
Starting point is 00:45:58 But he did a whole article for the tablet about this. And we're going to get into that. But first I want to play you one of the most bonkers. clips of the Republican Jewish coalition. Now, phylo-Semitism is a real thing. We know this, right? There are some people who, their version of anti-Semitism is going like, oh, no, the Jews control the banks and the media and the world, and good for them. And one of...
Starting point is 00:46:26 Norm Coleman, by the way, who we just saw, he's the guy who at the Jewish press syndicate conference said, why can't we control this narrative better? We are the masters of the universe. We control the media. He literally, said that. He was talking about he man. Yeah, that's right. He was in those masters of the universe. The Jews are going to defeat Skeletor at the third temple.
Starting point is 00:46:50 By the power of skullcap, I have the Jewish power. Wow. I think by the power of skullcap is my title submission. Yeah, or listen, I'm going to be the one who ends up titling this episode. Cameron Caskey episode, just to say, Fucked both y'all. That time Cameron Kasky came on Bad Hasbara. That second time he came on.
Starting point is 00:47:13 No, Norm Coleman actually said something interesting during this that someone superimposed a tweet next to it from the Wall Street Journal. So Thomas Massey lost his primary, right? And after he lost, he rightfully pointed out all of the moneyed interests against him coming from the Israel lobby. And people immediately started going, there he goes again, doing anti-Semitism, including the Wall Street Journal. Here is Norm Coleman talking about Thomas Massey. And right next to it is the
Starting point is 00:47:52 tweet that the Wall Street Journal posted saying, after losing her primary election Tuesday night, Rep. Massey peddled the oldest anti-Semitic trope in the book that conniving Jews hold secret power writes Matthew Matthew and Nessi Mattah Nessie. Matt Hennesse. That's Matt Hennessy. Sorry. He shouldn't put it. His name shouldn't be. All right.
Starting point is 00:48:19 His name is almost Matthew. Matt's should not be allowed to have surnames to start with an H. Thank you. Yeah. Yes. All right here we go. JC does not look the other way when the poison shows up in our own house. We take it on. We played the lead role in taking out Congressman Thomas Massey in his
Starting point is 00:48:36 primary, because a Republican who treats Israel is a problem and votes with the far left against the Jewish states does not get a pass from us. We named it. We funded the fight, and Kentucky Republicans sent him home. Just, you know, it's... Mathinesi there, or Matt Hennessy, got one thing wrong. Or, no, in fact, he got one thing right, I should say. It's a trope to say that conniving Jews hold secret power. There's nothing secret about it. We are conniving and boasting Jews, apparently. Well, it's just one of those things
Starting point is 00:49:18 where it's like, it's like you've got the Zionists and the anti-Semites, and like they're saying identical things about almost everything, whether that's Jews not being white or Jews holding all this power and controlling the world. It's the same thing.
Starting point is 00:49:35 It's a different ending. It's either Jews hold all of the power and control the world great or Jews hold all the power and control the world and we need to stop it. Yeah. Whereas I'm just like, I'm like, man, I don't like to think like that. I like to take it one issue at a time, one institution at a time. And one Jewish person at a time, maybe even, you know, individualize it. Both want Jews as a monolith and both are getting it. One of the attacks that my classmates from, for anyone who doesn't know, I'm a survivor of the apartment shooting, when my classmates and I were going on television talking about taking everybody's guns away and all that, which I guess that was before woke 1. That was like woke 0.5.
Starting point is 00:50:23 Yeah, yeah, yeah. The back when we were woke point-fiving everybody's guns away, we were getting accused of taking Soros money. And, you know, for the right, Soros was a boogeyman for a really long time in a way that he sort of isn't anymore. I mean, I'm sure plenty of right-winger will go on a rant about Soros and how his dark influence controls politics and everything. But I mean, back in... Zionists will, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:45 There are a few Zionists who do it to, you know, to distract from the other Jewish billionaire. So that's what I was going to say. That's what I was going to say. I figured that Soros was going to be a very pro-Israel billionaire. And I did not realize that he had actually drawn the ire of not only a lot of Israelis, but also the Israeli state itself. That was something that was sort of new to me because you'd assume that somebody who gets
Starting point is 00:51:13 accused at all turns of being the Jewish billionaire who controls all politics, you would assume, given how things seem to work in our media and conversations, that he was like decisively pro-Israel. Apparently, it's not that simple. Yeah, yeah, not at all. In fact, you know, it's, it's, it's, It's certainly not simple. It's not, I wouldn't go so far as to say that he is some sort of anti-Zionist billionaire, but the things that he funds in Israel, like I believe he was a big funder of Bacelam and breaking the silence, as well as, you know, a bunch of other liberal and progressive organizations.
Starting point is 00:51:54 He seems like an NIF kind of guy, like New Israel Fund, like coexistence projects and things like that. Possibly. I can't say for sure whether or not. That's true, but it's interesting because even Yeah Air Netanyahu, his, you know, Beebe's fail son, used to post Soros memes, like anti-Soros memes, straight up anti-Semitic Soros memes. And I always thought that was a pretty premier example of anti-Semitism within the Zionist right, not just in Israel, but in, you know, everywhere. Cameron, you guys should have taken that Maria Madelson money from the beginning. you would have had no problem. That's the George billionaire we all love.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Who among us wouldn't go back to our high school years and do something differently? You were young. If I could change one thing, it would be. I could go back to high school and change one thing. It wouldn't be not telling that girl I had a crush on in junior year that I liked her, not asking her to prom. It would be taking Adelston money. I would have taken Adelson money and then asked that girl out to prom,
Starting point is 00:53:01 and she might have said yes. Exactly. No, but that is an interesting thing that I guess I've never thought about is like so many people either consciously or subconsciously have that one big decisive moment from high school that they, you know, they would love to just see the alternate life where they had made this one other choice. And when I think about it, mine all involves like, should I have listened to Nancy Pelosi? like what would my life have been if I'd become a centrist lib
Starting point is 00:53:32 oh you know honestly I think it would have been easier life would be easier if I just gave up and had no moral conviction at all that's what I believe you know yeah and this podcast
Starting point is 00:53:43 would have been called fine Hasbara yeah yeah good Hasbara so the last one is Vivek Ramoswami went on
Starting point is 00:53:54 the stage at the Republican Jewish Coalition to deliver a speech in which he talked about Jewish success. And I just want to play you a small clip of this. And why am I here at the Republican Jewish Coalition talking to you about success? It is because you represent the most successful demographic group in America. And the anti-Semitism that is now spreading across our country
Starting point is 00:54:20 is not just an attack on Jewish people. It is an attack on success. It is an attack on the idea of success. It is an attack on the idea of meritocracy. It is an attack on the idea of capitalism. It is an attack on the very idea of America itself. Our haters will become waiters at the Jewish delicator of success. Look, there's a lot of things you can say about,
Starting point is 00:54:53 the Jewish experience in America as a collective, sure. You can say very successful and whatnot. But immediately being like, you know, anti-Semitism, when you get down to it, it's just people being against rich, successful people. Well, it's anti-capitalism. Antisemitism is anti-capitalism. Yeah, anti-Semitism is anti-capitalism. is one of the statements that makes me the most nervous,
Starting point is 00:55:25 just because it is coming from a place of... Especially with Labor Day coming up, Jesus Christ. It's not going to be safe to be out there in these streets on Monday. You know what? It sounds like he's just like, you know, the hatred of Jews is a lot like the hatred of really fat cats, you know? The ones who just are hoarding. A lot like the hatred of monopolies.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Yeah, exactly. You know what they hate? They don't hate... Jews, they hate that you're all monopoly men with your monocle, running around with your top hat, driving in a car, living in a shoe. Like, you can't- Hating Judaism is like hating foreclosures. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:56:07 What are you going to hate banks? What are you going to hate next? Loan collectors. Living Judaism is like hating when a giant cartoon anvil is dropped on your head. Yeah, exactly. You hate Israel. What do you hate next? the Acme Company. It's Acme-Semitism. You hate Israel. What do you hate next? North Korea and Eritrea.
Starting point is 00:56:28 Yeah. Yeah. It's just, it's so insane to be so phylo-Semitic that you're going to attach all of capitalism to the Jewish people and just be like, nah, that's because this is, you know, it's funny you mentioned Soros, but this is one of the interesting things about the Soros sort of anti-Semitic meme from, you know, back in the day, I guess. at this point was that he really was sort of the perfect encapsulation of actual anti-Semitism because he was both, you know, called, you know, a capitalist. He was called a communist. He was called a Zionist. He was called an anti-Zionist. He was called it. It's just like, it's this nebulous thing where you're just tying something to an entire people. And doing that in a positive way doesn't help Vivek Ramoswamy, going up and just being like, you know, the problem is that you guys are just really, really successful. And like you're really good when you get in sort of like a cabal at controlling things. That is that doesn't help me. It doesn't help you. It doesn't help
Starting point is 00:57:32 anyone. And it doesn't feel good. You know what I'm saying? I mean, I mean, look, I, uh, you're, you're right about Soros. I mean, he was sort of, he sort of is who you want him to be. If you're a conspiracy theorists, no matter what your political, uh, leanings are is He's just sort of, and I think that's what happens when you're just so rich and powerful is that you can sort of explain why they are 10 different things. And as for which of those explanations is the most compelling, it could be sort of a, you know, a coin flip. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:07 But like I always say when people are asking me if I'm a socialist or a capitalist, I'm like, well, I identify as a socialist because I vote for the socialists. But if you took my politics and explain that to one of the real socialists and said, I'm a socialist. They laugh in your fucking face. And then if we went to one of the capitalists and told them I was a capitalist, they would laugh in your fucking face. I'm like, guys, guys, I'm focused on how I'm voting. Like I'm not, you know, I don't know political theory. It's not something. But yeah, I kind of, I kind of miss Soros being in the conversation. Bring him back. I know. What happens?
Starting point is 00:58:41 tweets. Yeah, he's still out here tweeting. I feel like George Soros is just alive in an iron lung somewhere just like laughing his ass off. just like no one's talking about me anymore we need to talk because I know you do have some limited time we need to talk about something we had alluded to earlier this guy Adam Lewis Klein who is someone who we talk a lot about on this podcast
Starting point is 00:59:08 we're kind of obsessed with him kind of if he said you guys are obsessed with us he wouldn't be entirely wrong yes yes obsessed with me yeah and what I love is for the most part when we bring him up on a podcast, you know, we have to explain to our guest who he is. But that's not the case with you, Cameron. You, you, you have heard of him. You've
Starting point is 00:59:31 read his tweets. You know his vibe. And before we started recording, you pointed out something. You think he's a catfish? Can someone tell me what a catfish is? What is a catfish? A catfish is somebody who's pretending to be it or to appear differently online. So let's say, somebody's messaging you on just to speak to your guys this generation, let's say AIM. Somebody's messaging you on... How dare you? Excuse me, sir.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Dare you. No, he's right. Somebody's messaging you on MySpace and their profile picture is like a stock image of a much more attractive person or perhaps a deceptively thinner, younger picture of them 15 years ago.
Starting point is 01:00:16 That you would say is catfishing. And I learned from one of my little sions that Adam Lewis Klein is in fact a catfish and I was able to provide you guys with some evidence. Yeah, I mean, we have seen his other profile picture before, but this is what he actually looks like. Like his profile picture doesn't. Yeah. He looks like the picture of Milo Unopoulos and ICE detention. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:45 Yeah. The light has gone out of both of their eyes in the exact same way. yes this is it's fantastic because yeah his profile picture when you i looked at it you know i i mean i'll admit i was just like man it sucks that this uh you know kind of hot guy is uh such a psychopath um but he adam louis klein has been um going on and on with this conspiracy theory about the fact that uh the settler violence is not real um and what he means by that is that it's being you know I guess overblown by the media and that the people who are reporting about it are actually Hamas or whatever. So he recently put out an article in the tablet, which is just a fucking shit show of a rag now.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Not that it ever was good, but man, is it bad? Like all of the links are just, they're worse than the free press. It's like, click here to find out how, you know, actually we're the ones being genocided. So here is his article from the tablet. And it's called The New Genocide Lible. How violent settlers became. The next anti-Zionist hysteria, while Palestinian terror attacks in the West Bank continue to escalate. So he's going to paint it as a situation where really it's the Jews in.
Starting point is 01:02:19 Judea and Samaria, quote, unquote, that are really in danger and such accusations of settler violence are absurd. I'm friends with an Indian girl named Samira, and I call her Judea and Samira, and she gets really mad about it. We should do that with Samira Moededden next time we ever run. Oh, yes. Call her Samaria Mojeda. She'll love it.
Starting point is 01:02:42 The hysteria raging through international media channels over violence in Judea and Samaria, otherwise known as the West Bank, has reached new heights. The artist formerly not as the West Bank. Yeah. Yeah. Has reached new heights. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:57 Pass go on even. Go ahead. The genocide accusation is shifted now that the war in Gaza has receded from view and the campaign against settler violence has taken its place.
Starting point is 01:03:09 The key here is the logic of justification. The accusations don't come as neutral claims but come with threats, consequences, and punishments to be meted out against Israel. So he has this solid state worldview that every factual claim
Starting point is 01:03:25 that's documented by people on the ground reported by observers and people doing protective presence alleged by Palestinians is an operationalized weapon. I don't even need to preview it. I'm synopsizing the article. Why don't I just read it?
Starting point is 01:03:40 On August 29th, the New Yorker published an article by David D. Kirkpatrick with a strange proposition. Since Israeli settlements are thwarted, the establishment of a contiguous Palestinian state, and violent Israeli settlers
Starting point is 01:03:52 are allegedly seeking to ethnically cleanse Palestinians, alleged by themselves, the only option is to evict hundreds of thousands of settlers. In other words, Israelis are ethnically cleansing
Starting point is 01:04:03 Palestinians, therefore the Israelis should be ethnically cleansed. Damn. That's, I love the logic there. It's, you know, you can ethnically cleanse
Starting point is 01:04:16 as many Palestinians as you want because you're just allowed to. But then as soon as you're like, hey, stop doing that. They're like, damn, what are you going to do? Ethnically cleanse me? What are you going to do about it? Like, at this point, this inversion of who is the perpetrator and who is the victim is so deeply ingrained in Adam Lewis Klein's head that I truly, I don't know how,
Starting point is 01:04:42 I don't know how he walks straight. You know what I mean? Like, he should be, everything is inverted. his head. Nothing, nothing is straightforward. Let's remind people that every single Jewish settler living in the West Bank is there ipso facto illegally under international law. That's been ruled on by the World Court, which I'm sure he would say is part of the international anti-Zionist conspiracy. Yes. And it's just quite obvious under the Geneva Conventions. You can't transfer a civilian population into occupied territory. And all occupations are supposed
Starting point is 01:05:15 to be temporary anyway. The New York Times followed two days later with a lengthy story featuring former IDF generals who accused settlers of carrying out a program of ethnic cleansing. Quote, these generals fought for Israel. Now they see Jewish terrorism as the real threat proclaimed the headline.
Starting point is 01:05:30 Ah, but Adam Lewis Klein knows better. According to these generals, genocidal regimes and militias such as Iran, Hamas, or Hezbollah are not the primary threat to Israel. The real danger is Jewish settlers. They even warn, somewhat ominously, that once a society behaves this way,
Starting point is 01:05:47 that society is doomed. There is a total refusal on Adam Lewis Klein's part to believe that it is possible that he himself is doomed. This is something I've seen with a lot of Zionists where they're just like, they come at this from a point of like, oh, oh, so now they're saying that, now they're saying that the whole society is doomed that we're all just racist well that's impossible because because that would mean that would mean I'm bad yeah and I'm not I know this for a fact
Starting point is 01:06:27 I know I'm good Adam Lewis Klein speaks in this very I don't know if it's AI I don't want to make that accusation because I don't know and I've never ran his stuff through that like AI tester thing you could do online sure but it's it's very much that sentence pattern and that sort of delivery, the thing we've kind of been able to train our eyes to see. And I, like, I had a joke that he was just a rogue AI bot because he would post these infographics that he makes as replies to my tweets, like anti-Zionism is blood liable. Or anti-Zionism is anti-Zionism. Well, no, so that's what I was going to say. That's what I was going to say. It was all of these, like, anti-Zionism is hate. Anti-Zionism is racism. But they, like,
Starting point is 01:07:13 Like, they never pertained to my tweet. They were never like, right. No, they're totally. Completely fucking out of nowhere. And then I saw anti-Zionism is anti-Zionism. And that's the behavior of an LLM that has not been intended to correctly. And it's a software developer has just sort of the panted it. So I was like, I was like, is he?
Starting point is 01:07:37 So I was texting some people. I was like, have you ever seen evidence of Adam Lewis Klein? And that was when my, I don't want to call him my intern because I don't, I don't pay him. But this kid that I boss around sent a picture to me. It must be great to be 25 these days. You got kids you can boss around. I didn't have no kids to buzz around when I was 25. He's 20, but he's a kid to me.
Starting point is 01:08:04 He's a kid to me. Five years between 20 and 25 can be a while. That's a lifetime. It's a lifetime. It's true. So he sent me that picture. of Adam and I was I was talking about how I was talking to Jasper about how Adam Lewis Klein is sort of his Wario and I was like yes who's my wario like the busted worst evil version
Starting point is 01:08:24 you know I was like oh my God it's fucking Iyal Ya Kobe like holy shit back when I was doing gun control my wario was definitely Kyle in house but now that I'm doing Israel Palestine stuff it's a Yal Ya Kobe and I don't know if you guys saw but i y'all Ya Kobe was just in the united Arab Emeris. UA.E. Yes. And I think and I think that that was an important statement because some people will say you support Israel and therefore you are a genocide supporter. And Yal Yaobi wants you to know, no, he supports all sorts of genocide. Yeah. He's supporting genocide worldwide. This isn't just about Israel. The dude loves genocide. He just loves it when an entire ethnic group gets wiped out for no reason. It's his favorite thing. Okay. The genre, a few more. Yeah. The genre bears the
Starting point is 01:09:11 the recognizable hallmarks of a messaging campaign. Well, this article bears the recognizable hallmarks of an AI-generated essay. The emotional register and irrational hyperbole grant pathos to a drama in which this fucking like Hasbara as cultural studies, like a 300-level cultural studies, like an average student in that class and the kind of essay he would submit, in which Israel is semiotics. It's Hasbara as semiotics, whatever the fucking. that means. I just remember that word from those courses when I was a kid.
Starting point is 01:09:44 Israel is cast as a unique moral failure, putting into question its claims about supposed threats to Israel's security, which clearly come instead from Israel's actual enemies. On the same day the New Yorker article was published, reports started streaming out of the region of two incidents that took place at almost the same time and place. Really great sentence. Took place at almost the same time and place.
Starting point is 01:10:07 Yeah, actually, now that I think about AI, AI would be better than that. Yeah, yeah, Claude would be like, can we cut this for a petition? And Adam Lutz Klein is like, no. No. Give me a more pedantic algorithm. Confrontations at the nearby towns of Kusra and Jalud
Starting point is 01:10:23 prompted swift condemnations, this time even from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, noted anti-Zionist, and U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee, who has gone so far as to label the settlers as terrorist, further amplifying the swathing the accusations against the settlers. This guy's running cover for the settlers against Mike Huckabee and Meebibinat Nihahu.
Starting point is 01:10:45 This guy's taken on the whole state of Israel. He's taken on the settlers themselves. He's like, no, fuck you. You're peaceful. This is wild, dude. The narrative? Everybody's in on it, but me, says Adam Lewis Klein, the world's only sane person.
Starting point is 01:11:05 He's just jealous that they left him out of the siege. He's jealous that he didn't get invited. Yeah, he's like, come on, man. I want to be there to do sieging. Well, you know that feeling when you love your friends more than they love themselves. Yeah. This is sort of, this is a tangent. And I apologize, but I only have 10 more minutes.
Starting point is 01:11:23 That's fine. I was about to joke that when I got detained by Hilltop Youth at a burned up school, that I like printed out Adam Lewis Klein tweets. And I was like, guys, guys, I know Adam Lewis Klein. But when I was trying to get into the airport to Tel Aviv like two months ago, almost exactly two months ago, when they pulled me aside at customs and when they were sort of cross-examining me, I don't want to say interrogating because there wasn't yelling, but when they were questioning me and Congressman Rokane, my boss, walked into the room and was like, hey, I'm a United States congressman, he's with me, we have stuff to do, let's go. And they said, but you're brown. They basically told them to fuck off. And they had, so there was this Zionist girl who was like a Columbia student journalist who had taken photos of me in the airport the first time I got back from the West Bank trip a couple months ago.
Starting point is 01:12:25 I guess almost a year ago now. And the Israeli customs had printed out those tweets. They had printed out the tweets of her like taking. Photos of me. By the way, not even in the Tel Aviv Airport. They had printed out tweets, her taking pictures of me in JFK. And they didn't get to those in my questioning. They said, they said, we do not like that you have called it the genocide that is against
Starting point is 01:12:51 the law. If it was a genocide, we could have done it in one weekend. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, wait, you don't have to go out of your way to say this. Like, you could just say this has not been concluded by X. They love that line. They love that line because they take it as an insult to their killing efficiency. Like, are you saying that we set out to do a genocide and we came up with half measures?
Starting point is 01:13:20 No, we're Israel. And then he said, if it was a genocide of the Palestinians, why aren't we doing it in the West Bank? And in my head, I'm like, well, you are. Like, you are. It's just a slower process. Yes. I just kept going like, oh, it's a good point. Yeah, no, this is the same logic that Adam is using, which is, you know, that the West Bank is now being painted with the same label as Gaza, you know, this fake genocide smear.
Starting point is 01:13:53 And as opposed to, you know, Occam's razor, the simplest answer here is maybe Israel's doing it to both of them. Isn't that? No. We have to get to the end of this slide because it contains one of the most. spectacular feats of reasoning in Baddhsbarah history. So here's the narrative, according to him. A mob of Israeli rioters descended on a Palestinian home in Kusra to violently dispossess its inhabitants. It would never happen.
Starting point is 01:14:22 That could never happen. Nearby at Jalud, an NBC crew had arrived to interview a Palestinian woman, Aida Ahmed Abdullah, wife of Mahmoud Tubasi, about her house in Jalud, which had been under, quote, siege by Israeli settlers, as captured on video taken by NBC, a group of around four masked men suddenly arrived and attacked the group with clubs, just as the crew was about to visit Tubasi's home. And I've seen this video, you've seen this video.
Starting point is 01:14:49 We've all seen it. That is what happens on the video. Israeli settlers, including those who belong to the specific movement to establish deep outposts in Judea, Samaria, that specific movement known as the Zionist project, Israel noted that since the reports were published on Shabbat they themselves hardly had time to give their own account of events. This is why you always hire a Shabasgoy to counter claims of Palestinian claims of ethnic cleansing. Wow. I love it. They're like listen we got that
Starting point is 01:15:27 we got that too by the law. We didn't have time when we got back from the West Bank on Friday morning and the story about what happened to us with Hilltop, it came out on either like a Friday or a Saturday. And there were a bunch of people being like, of course Ro Khanna announces this on the Sabbath when we don't have time to respond. It's just, it is wild the times that they use Jewish holidays or Shabbat in order to to just. whatever action that they're doing or to try and, you know, like if your alibi is, I couldn't have done this. It was my day of rest. I mean, there's only one place where that can hold up in court and I think it's a military court. Yeah. That's right. But in this case,
Starting point is 01:16:25 it's not even we couldn't have done it. It's like we didn't have a chance to comment. Right. We didn't give our side of the story yet because it was our day of rest. We don't do Hasbara on Shabbat. We don't... We don't get to give our side of the story yet, which is, nah-uh. That's right. Exactly. That's right. Yeah. We don't troll on Shabbas. We don't troll on Shabbas. We don't troll on Shabbas. There it is. Another good one. There it is. I had to really... I had to search for that one. It was in there somewhere, but I found... No, it was in there. Shom or Shabbas. So for a group of people categorically to find as evil, the expectation
Starting point is 01:16:59 that we might hear their side of the story before anyone rushes to extreme conclusions, feels like a bridge too far. No one else, certainly not the international media, including NBC, even thought it was relevant. Masked men, do you care to comment on why you busted my cameraman in the head and put that Palestinian woman in the hospital, knocked her unconscious? Which, of course, NBC, Jake Tapper did not send his condolences to that woman. No, of course.
Starting point is 01:17:24 Praying for the swift recovery of the NBC crew. Yes. The rest of the article goes on to basically cite only a news channel in Israel that is specifically for settler news. It's Amar. It's been, it's Smotrish's Network. It's Smotrish's Network, Israel Channel 18. Yeah. And that's what he uses in order to say, you know, the other side of the story is a grainy video of mass people that we're going to call Arabs. were actually the ones who started it. That's it. That's the only thing he'll cite except for himself.
Starting point is 01:18:03 He'll always cite himself. Oh, yes, yeah, yeah. Or his feels. Or his feels, yeah. Yeah. But yeah, this is, it's just, there's something beautiful about this man's brain. And, you know, the likes of him, likes of Jonah Platt, they both do it too, which is, come on, guys, you really believe that Jews would be so.
Starting point is 01:18:27 dumb as to do all this shit on camera. You really believe that the Jews, smart, peaceful Jews, like me, like us, you think we would do this shit? Laffable, am I right? And the problem is that everyone around them is like, no, you're not right. At this point, your faith that Israeli settlers of all people couldn't possibly do something violent is it's based on knuckers. It's based on nothing but the sort of like internalized and externalized Jewish exceptionalism and, you know, this Jewish supremacist thought that like we couldn't. We are the most moral people. But it's incredible that he's more Jewish supremacist than the Jewish supremacist.
Starting point is 01:19:11 Like he's trying to lecture the Jewish supremacist about how to be less apologetic. Like we are not the Jews of trembling consciences. You're sort of at a crossroads in the, you know, this kind of Zionist sphere where it's like, okay, we thought that we had to condemn the settler movement, and if not the settler movement, just specifically the Milan settlers, we thought that we had to say that that was a bad thing. And that was sort of our sacrificial lamb. Wow, we got away with whatever we really wanted to do in Gaza, Lebanon. And I think there's sort of, I think there's, first of all, Zionists who feel that way about the settlers,
Starting point is 01:19:49 although not many and not many in power. second of all, Zionists who are now like, no, we're just going to keep on condemning. We obviously won't do anything about it. We'll make token arrest. We won't prosecute. But, you know, and then there's this new group of Zionists that have made it into like the American conversation who are like, guys, we don't need to, we don't need to do fucking anything. Yeah, exactly. We don't need to condemn shit.
Starting point is 01:20:15 Like, fuck you. We're Israel. Like, we just integrated our fucking military with yours. go fuck yourself like you're god damn right we're going to send pioneers into judea and samaria like fuck off yes so that's what makes these types of posters and writers adam lewis clines jonah plats that's what makes them so funny is this like desperate need to explain themselves they like desperately need people to still view them in a way that sees them is either uh the victim or as being, you know, somehow the more morally conscious one.
Starting point is 01:20:53 But it's not themselves. It's their, it's their, it's their anime heroes, the Israeli army and the settlers. Like it's not even like they don't, they're not part of that society. Emotionally, they need to be part. They need to feel like they're part of the masters of the universe who can do no wrong. And anyone who admits that even grants strategically that the settlers are a problem, which is totally in bad faith when Netanyahu's. says it, of course, is fucking up their, their k-fabe.
Starting point is 01:21:23 It's fucking up their fantasy life. That's right. That's right. That's right. Because now you've got Eisencott visiting violent outposts and declaring that there was going to be no Palestinian state. Like, it's over. Last thing I'll say, just to this point.
Starting point is 01:21:35 And then I have to go is, it brings to mind the Jewish voters in Michigan who are coming out and saying, I've been a Democrat my entire life. I'm voting for Mike Rogers. Here's why. The type of Jewish Democrat who sort of puts out that sort of statement and says, I believe in liberal values. I believe in the project of American democracy. And I would rather circumsance my entire dick than see a Democratic majority in the Senate. Yeah, it's just there's this desire from them to hold this moral ground.
Starting point is 01:22:09 And that's what I think a lot of these op-eds and public statements and quotes that they give to the media are, they want to be able to go to their social circle and say, no, no, no, I'm still acceptable among you guys because despite the fact that I'm ultimately aligning with a like fascist movement inside the United States in the name of Israel. It's just Israel that's making me do this. It's, and how could I not support Israel? How could I support? It's just my dual loyalty, okay?
Starting point is 01:22:37 Yeah. It's got nothing to do with my actual politics. I know. You know what I'm saying though? It's like they have this desire to be approved. Whereas I think there's a lot of Zionists who are like, No, you know what? I want to be on that island.
Starting point is 01:22:50 I want to be alone. It's just us. It's us and everybody else. Those Zionists who sort of want that politically but don't want that socially are now speaking in these just moral grandstandy terms. Yes. For what is ultimately them saying, I'm going to betray the values I've held my entire life. Exactly. Ultimately, this stretch of land is more important to be.
Starting point is 01:23:14 Before you go, Gamer, I just had a beautiful idea of how this entire story could end. right? It's like the world could in fact turn against Jews and then some Jews would be seeking refuge in Israel and he get and Adam Lewis Klein finally does the thing and he moves there. He gets to Ben-Gurion airport and they don't let him in. Why? Because his actual face doesn't match his profile picture. Look at this guy. They're like, no, that's, no, that's... You're fucking Adam Lewis Klein. No way. Yeah. Yeah, that's not... By halachiglal catfish is not kosher.
