Badlands Media - Badlands Daily: 7/17/26 - Trump's Speech Fallout, China's Voter Data Bombshell & CNN's Spin

Episode Date: July 17, 2026

CannCon and Chris Paul dive straight into the morning after Trump's primetime election speech, breaking down which pre show rumors actually panned out and which turned out to be red herrings. The bulk... of the show walks through the declassified documents at the center of it all, from claims that China compromised well over 200 million voter registration records to renewed questions about Venezuela, Smartmatic, and what intelligence agencies allegedly kept from the President himself. They also pick apart how the major networks are already trying to bury the story, comparing what actually aired against a rapid fact check rebuttal that raises as many questions as it answers. Along the way there is a State Department crackdown on far left violent networks and a healthy debate between the hosts about whether any of this actually moves the needle. Expect some real disagreement and a shorter than usual show.

Starting point is 00:00:00 The Badlands, one of the Badlands, explain those Badlands. That's a hell of a name. All right. Good morning, Badlandia. Welcome to Badlands Daily. It's Friday. Got Chris Paul joining me today. Chris, how you doing, brother?
Starting point is 00:00:21 I'm good, man. I'm just enjoying our lotion-themed 80s hair metal. That song. I mean, last night, Bernie Bright. now we're kind of joking about it and of course there's the hydrate your elbows moisturize your soul line and that line just cracks me up every time and it also just like it comes in and it hits so hard i just can't get it out of my head i i love this song i know well there are two different songs that's the revolution but yeah but yeah both songs are fantastic and uh you know it's a testament
Starting point is 00:00:54 there to um man we're going to be replaced because they're both completely a i generated Well, I don't know if I'm going to jump that far on that. I think that real art will survive. I can put those two songs up against a majority of big hair metal fans from the 80s. Well, certainly the production quality, yeah. I'm not denying that at all. I just think eventually people will kind of be able to tell the difference between the two and they'll want genuine human inspiration rather than the product of the machine.
Starting point is 00:01:31 I don't know, man. I played the Flames of Revolution at our Fourth of July party and nobody had any idea. And when I told them at the end, I was like, that song was completely paid by AI for a commercial that we ran for one of our businesses. But even think of it in that aspect, excuse me, even think of it in that aspect, Chris, like, you know, when you want to run an ad or something like that, you no longer have to pay an artist to create a piece of, you know, something for you. And I mean, look, when you're writing ads and stuff, you're not getting the best quality stuff out there, right? You're just getting generic. Put this together. We're going to give you $5,000, $10,000 to do this. Sure.
Starting point is 00:02:11 That's gone. That's, that's gone. So, yeah, man. Anyways, welcome to the show. I'm not trying to, you know, go. Yeah, yeah. We don't need to do them out on AI first thing. Well, I did see a story like.
Starting point is 00:02:29 as we were going live that maybe we can we can cover real quick we will get to president trump speech in fact that will probably be the majority of the bulk of the show today because i have to make this an early show i have a commitment that i have to get to immediately following the show in fact the sooner the better um so it will be a relatively shorter show compared to the two-hour marathons that we're typically used to but let's go ahead and hit our sponsors first and let's talk about our friends over favorite rise attire. Starting point is 00:05:04 Only Wednesday because I've had this pending thing that I have to take care of. And today is the end of it. And next week we'll be back to complete normalcy. And by normalcy, I mean no normalcy whatsoever. Sometimes life just gets in the way. That's just how it is. Absolutely. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:05:25 We did have a couple Badlands boost that I want to get. to Badlands Media. This is from Ben Swartz. This is a whole company, but I think this was geared at our coverage from last night, says, go to data sets on the bottom of this page, start looking at weeks around April or May of 2021, then ask yourself, why would they be running so many new voter registration checks after an election? And that's at ssa.gov. And we'll address that when we get to President Trump's speech last night. We'll definitely address that. AJC, Badlands Daily from Wednesday. Great show, men.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Thank you. That was from Wednesday, so I'm not sure what men you're referring to, but Ash was on Wednesday, and she's definitely, I mean, as far as I know, she's a woman. Maybe, maybe talking about Tuesday with ghosts, maybe. I'm not sure. But thank you, AJC. Deeply appreciate it. AJC always comes in with like the last minute rant, like after we roll the outro. And I'm like, he likes that.
Starting point is 00:06:23 know you so we appreciate that right that's like genuinely like we're supporting your work we don't need you know i don't need the acknowledgement and all that so deeply appreciate that and then next gen profits at brian and ash should break into any show at any time with election news because all shows are why we vote that would be pretty funny if you guys just started uh breaking into every show just every show just jump on there and be like hey hey we're gonna get in this all right so i i saw this right as we were going live Chris and you know, I thought it was kind of interesting. China just erased America's AI lead.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Kimmy K3, a massive new model by Beijing-based Moonshot AI, threatens the foundations of America's AI boom. It releases on Thursday. It's released on Thursday, dazzled developers, jolted Silicon Valley and reset the AI race overnight. Kimmy immediately vaulted into the top tier of global AI beating Anthropics Fable 5 and OpenAIs GPP 5.6 sole in front-end coding tested by AI evaluator Arena. As recently as April, the U.S. government's AI testing center assessed that Chinese firm DeepSeek's newest model lagged about eight months behind the leading American system. Kimmy's arrival suggests that cushion may have collapsed far.
Starting point is 00:07:51 far faster than expected. Yeah, I mean, we were told that Fable was going to destroy the world. Isn't that the U.S. government had to stop at its tracks for two weeks? I thought that was clawed. Didn't they like- Anthropics Claude Fable 5. Oh, is O'Claude Fable 5? Okay, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I just know that. I think that Fable is the Anthropic Claw model that they were putting the breaks on. I mean, I use chat TBT, so the new model seems to be, it's definitely getting better at answering questions and it's getting better at reasoning. And I always put it just on the high intelligence mode. You know, I don't want the quick answer. I'll just like wait for it. I want something very thorough, like give me the good reasoning. And I mean, it's better.
Starting point is 00:08:48 It's not amazing. It's better. Well, I mean, it is amazing in some sense. I just mean it's, you know, it's still not, its reasoning is not like above human level. It's not working off of first principles. It's not able to actually follow logical chains. It just compiles information and spits it back to you.
Starting point is 00:09:11 So I don't know. If the Chinese are that far ahead and Fable was already a massive problem, well, what does this mean? And of course, we get that news on the same day that we hear that China stole our elections. Helped steal our elections. Contributes to be stealing our election. Yeah, or just interfered somehow as countries do with one another. It's, and we can get into that, obviously, later.
Starting point is 00:09:41 But it's just so funny to be like, oh, China stole our elections. When we send people around the world specifically to interfere in the elections of other nations, So yeah, yeah. So yeah. So yeah, let's again, we're not going to we're going to hold off on that the election stuff for just a moment here. State Department put this out visa restriction policy targeting far less left terrorists and other aligned groups. Far left terrorists and aligned groups often use sophisticated, organized networks to perpetrate violence as a political tool seeking to implement an extreme political vision through intimidation and cordial. campaigns of terror, utilizing bombings, assassinations, and other forms of terrorism to silence speech, limit political opposition, and change policy outcomes, and sabotage political processes. Today, in support of national security, presidential memorandum 7 in ongoing government efforts to disrupt networks, fomenting political violence, the State Department is announcing a new visa restriction policy, targeting members of far-left terrorists and other aligned groups who supported or incited acts of terrorism,
Starting point is 00:10:51 violence, criminal activity, participate in economic sabotage, finance, recruited, or provided logistical support, all from far-left terrorists and other-aligned groups. They will be restricting entry of foreign nationals who finance, recruit, incite, or otherwise enable terrorists, violent and criminal far-left networks. Why not just stop everybody? Like, do people, when they apply for visas, are they like, hey, I'm a far-left terrorist? can you let me yeah i guess that i guess that problem remains um the stuff comes from both sides and so i agree that they should be going after uh everybody along these lines it was interesting to watch some
Starting point is 00:11:39 of the clips from that i don't know if it was a conference or a summit or whatever they called it yesterday but do you have the the scott besant thing i thought that was i don't remarkable so he and And he flubbed the date. He meant to say February 2025, but he said February 2024. And so people were totally owning him for that. But he suggested that he had been the target of a far left plot to kill him. And yeah, so that I think is kind of incredible. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Keep going. No, no, no. That's the whole story right there. You know, we've seen a lot of stuff coming out about like Code Pink and Neville's Neville Roy Singham, you know, that type of thing. Obviously, there's the Soros networks and all of that stuff. But like you said, there's on the right too, right? Now, they would have you believe that, you know, in the previous quote-unquote administration, you know, that was the J-Sixers.
Starting point is 00:12:43 That was the parents at the school boards and all that stuff. And I mean, for us, we look at that and we're like, that's absurd to think that these are terrorists. right but they tried to go as far as naming them terrorists now when you see these you know like the no kings rallies and stuff like the no kings to be honest with you was actually a very um uh i don't want to say quiet but a subdued rally compared to what we're seeing at the ice detention centers and the hangouts and the campouts that i would definitely put into the to the bucket of uh this is being swayed in the direction of of you know getting to the point where they're terrorists right but the no king stuff I mean, we might not like the idea.
Starting point is 00:13:24 We might not like your concepts and all that stuff. But they kept those protests relatively peaceful, right? We're not seeing that with the ICE protests. We're not seeing that with, you know, the takeovers of some of these cities like Minneapolis, et cetera. So, you know, I don't know where they're going to draw that line. It's kind of like, and to be fair, on the other side, they would probably say the same thing about, you know, the school board meeting. and those types of things in comparison, they would probably throw the J-6ers in that bucket, right?
Starting point is 00:13:57 Of where we're going, although I think we both know that, you know, J-6 was widely a push against President Trump, a Fed's direction, so to speak. So. Yeah, and I'm just to just to be clear, a lot of the stuff that comes from the quote-unquote right, you know, there's the organic elements, as you mentioned on J-6,
Starting point is 00:14:20 there are definitely people out there who want to go involve themselves in public protest and, you know, make their voices heard. There are agitators occasionally who want to cause trouble. But a lot of these groups, especially the ones that we saw in 2020 and early 2021, are just on the actual left, you know. And I was kind of pointing to the supposed unpartisan divide that doesn't really exist if groups like the SPLC and whatever are funding organizations, to act as the controlled opposition within a protest or riot environment.
Starting point is 00:14:59 I mean, that's all from the global left, ultimately. And does it feel like the Neville Roy Singham character is like an update of the George Soros character? Like, we're just getting all the same stories and now it's about this guy. It always makes me think, like, I guess, and, you know, Bernie Bright and I talked about this on on Story Hour last night, like whether it's necessary to just kind of have these storytelling selling devices that aren't really entirely accurate, but they relay the story properly to the people, whereas otherwise the people would not have the attention span or whatever else to take on the story.
Starting point is 00:15:33 So these characters become like an avatar for this whole phenomenon that exists. And you mentioned the No Kings thing. I think that we talked about it on this show when you go to the list of their partner organizations and you see like 300 of the most prominent. like quote unquote left wing NGOs, activist groups, philanthropic, you know, activist organizations. It really is all just one thing. And they perform it from both sides. And I would encourage people to check out my article chicken egg chicken because it deals with some of those ice protests last year and the generation of controversy in these events because it is that controversy. It is the
Starting point is 00:16:16 violence, the confrontation that is easy for exploitation by the media. And that changes. people's opinions on what's going on really quickly because the optics become so terrible that people who are casually supporting the cause of ICE or the cause of deportations or the rest of it are inclined to back off from their support because in their normal social environment somebody's like oh you approve of these people just these you know unmarked law enforcement officers with their faces hidden throwing brown people in a vein And it's like all of a sudden they've got that story. And in social environments, in kind of polite society, that really does put a social cost on anybody who wants to support that cause.
Starting point is 00:17:03 So optically, these events are very effective. I agree. And for the life of me, I can't think of, you know, in bringing up J6 again. That was when you see the violence that took place on that day, sure, there were some genuine MAGA J6ers that genuinely got carried away. But most of what we saw on that day, you know, going back to, I can name names. I'm not going to just, you know, for reasons. But these were bad actors that were not part of the MAGA movement. They were not part of the, you know, even the stop the steal.
Starting point is 00:17:38 I hate using that term because I think that was widely an op as well. But they're not part of the movement that genuinely had concerns about the COVID restrictions and the stolen election and all of those things. However, they're the ones that got J-Sixers labeled with that tag of insurrection. Now, I can't think of, and you brought up SPLC and the infiltration that they've had as well. I can't think of any like of these leftist movements, the, the anti-ice protests and all those things that end up turning violent, even BLM, where there's ever been an expose of like right wing people that influenced, that infiltrated these organizations and influenced them to push them in this direction. And so to me, that's a testament of not just where this country fundamentally is in terms of organic,
Starting point is 00:18:22 movements, you know, and that those are these are not, these are inorganic movements and they have to be created. But like, that's just wild to me that you, you never do they not just, do they just not have a desire to see if there is such an infiltration or is there actually no infiltration and so they can't even fabricate one? Yeah, I would suggest this to the second because, I mean, people like me have no interest in that as a strategy. Like that is something I would never involve myself or never encourage you know what i mean so the i think the further right you go the smaller state you want the idea that that your victories are going to be won by going out and fighting against like progressive protesters that's preposterous that's fair that's fair um all right let's uh
Starting point is 00:19:14 let's jump into this story here because this is one of the biggest nothing stories that i've seen um in the last, well, four hours, four hours. CBS, this is an exclusive, Chris, an exclusive senior defense officials looking at Cuba military operation. Oh, no, two front war. That's what caused the downfall of Germany and like every other war ever. We're going to have all world war. Go ahead. Well, we got, I mean, we got, we got our cause for China.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Yeah, yeah. But President Trump's out there. Well, we'll get to that. Military planners have in recent weeks examined a range of options for possible action against Cuba, including an army-led air assault involving thousands of U.S. soldiers to be carried out by the 101st Airborne Division, according to multiple U.S. officials with knowledge of the discussions. The officials stressed that the briefings are not indications that President Trump or the Pentagon have decided to carry out an operation. In fact, if you scroll down just a little bit further, late last month, U.S. military held a concept of operations briefing to discuss early stage military planning options for select missions that could be carried out. Such briefings are routinely developed by the
Starting point is 00:20:38 Defense Department for a range of contingencies that examine mission objectives, etc., etc. This is literally the Department of Defense getting together and saying, hey, we need to have contingencies for any possible situation. Let's talk about what happens if we have to invade Cuba. How would we do it? That's all this is. Now, if you go back, you remember just real quick, Chris, you remember a Bedminster leak, the tape recordings of President Trump after his first term when he was totally no longer in any sort of power whatsoever and had no access to declassified documents and he's on this recording saying see this right here yep that was the attacks against iran you know that kind of thing he didn't show that produced the actual documents ironically nobody mentions that at CNN and their
Starting point is 00:21:29 exclusive recording of this what that was and this what i believe it was was the i think it was vanity fair had the article from general milly that was saying we have continued contingencies for everything. And here's our contingency. We had the contingency to attack Iran. That's what Trump was saying. I think he was showing them that article and saying, see this right here?
Starting point is 00:21:52 Yeah, that was that was the plan. And so, you know, for CBS News to put out this article right now, why? Why are they putting out an article about something that the military does on a routine in developing these? I mean, you could say the same thing. We have a plan to attack. We have a plan to attack Canada, guys.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Just throwing that out there. As we should, because Canada is just a rogue state. Yeah, why are they doing it? I mean, I guess that they are drumming up a narrative that is going to intersect with Cuba. And I think that Trump has hinted at that a bunch of times. And so I would expect that we're probably going to get more of this and increase in frequency and drama.
Starting point is 00:22:36 And we are supposed to understand that something is going to happen in the future so that when we are told it happens, we will instantly believe it and say, oh, yeah, I knew that they've been planning for this for months. I mean, that's how these things always go down. Again, I would say the same thing about China stuff that we just heard. Yeah, I just saw that. And I was like, because, you know, I read that article and I was like, wait a second. Are we going to like extract not Castro?
Starting point is 00:23:04 What's the guy? Well, maybe Rolito, the crab, the crab, as is. They all have crabs, right? Crab, the tiger. We got all the all the nicknames. They all have crabs. I think you meant they all have nicknames. Crab, not plural, not plural, crab. Okay. Could you imagine like if your nickname was the crab? Like why it by pinchers? Like do I walk around like this and just I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:23:32 And then the last story before we jump into the election part of all of this. And again, this is just a another weird little thing here. Bill Malusian, Fox News put this out on X, DHS and DOT, have announced that they've identified 75 entry-level truck driver CDL schools across the U.S. They're suspected of fraudulently helping non-citizen drivers qualify for CDLs. Now, keep that number in mind, 75. And then I want to read the statement from Marquane Mullins. Actually, this is from Marquane Mullins has the statement above this is from secretary uh transportation secretary sean duffy says quote we've knocked over 24 000 drivers off our roads for failing to speak english let's go for states to cancel over 28 000 licenses illegally issued to foreign drivers let's go and purged over 9,500 unqualified training schools
Starting point is 00:24:30 from our fmcSA registry so if we purged 9500 9500 hundred schools training schools why are we getting excited about 75 that's not even 0.1 percent of the total that we're told before right 9500 now it says unqualified training schools from the registry so maybe these were schools that no longer exist right and you know like like voter registration data same concept right like like uh inactive voters maybe maybe but um again i think this is a a big deal I don't know and you know truckers might might have a little more insight to this but is there like a shortage of truckers now because that seems like a lot of truck drivers that you're taking off the road 24,000 and canceling 28,000 licenses. Yeah, I saw a headline or a poster or something
Starting point is 00:25:25 about this yesterday and the only thought that I had was I saw somebody kind of exploiting it and saying we're going to give these jobs back to American truck drivers. Okay, so American truck drivers were losing their jobs to illegal immigrants. Well, okay, I can I can buy that. But I remember within the past decade, what year was it that Andrew Yang ran for the Democrat nomination? It was 2020, right? So there was a couple of years in there where he was kind of making a public name for himself and leading up to that and he would go on all of these different podcasts and he would talk about how AI and automation were going to replace all these jobs. and that we would have, you know, self-driving trucks, and it seems now eight years later, like that is totally a possibility.
Starting point is 00:26:13 And so are these jobs going to go back to American humans, or are we just being told that it's okay that we are moving into the automation era because we need this, because we had to get rid of all these illegal aliens that, you know, you wanted us to deport all these people. So we have deported them. And there's not enough American truck drivers to work in those roles. So what we're going to need to do is start automating that system. And then 10 years, 10 years on in the future, it's just all automated. And there's no Americans working in truck driving. Now, I'm not trying to suggest that that is definitely what's going to happen. But this seems like it's a step in that progression.
Starting point is 00:26:55 That's a fantastic point. And in the meantime, truck drivers, American truck drivers, while there may not have been like a like they're not able to find work they're definitely facing competitive rates right i mean you would imagine that um i think i saw the other day like a truck you know how sometimes trucks have like the the car the price per mile that they pay weekends home right they always advertise nights and weekends home oh you mean like on the back of the truck yeah like on the back of the truck come drive for up you know nights and weekends home i saw one the other day that was like a dollar 40 a mile and i was like that seems
Starting point is 00:27:29 that seems pretty high like that's that's pretty good man um clare cat says yes there is a big shortage uh i think that's one of the reasons for making veterans with experience automatically eligible for a cd yeah interesting but i get i get your point though or is this is this just kind of a way to to softly transition us into the automation era where you know you take away these immigrant drivers and there's no americans to fill the void and so they fill that void with automation. Yeah, yeah. I mean, if there are, I have, I take the point that there are Americans who can't get these jobs and who want these jobs because they're being taken by illegal aliens. But if somehow 100,000 jobs open up and we have 25,000 Americans ready to step in who
Starting point is 00:28:19 want those jobs, and I'm making these numbers up, obviously, there's still that big gap and that big gap, they'll say, well, we have this big gap and we still need to move things. from point A to point B. And so automation is going to fill that gap. And yeah, that's the scenario that I would be concerned with and I would be looking out for because it's kind of being communicated that way. I mean, they're going to tell us that this need must be filled. It can't be filled by Americans.
Starting point is 00:28:49 You know, and we get right back into the loop that we've been hearing for 20 or 30 years from like people like Bill Maher, people on the center left. center left. Well, these, these end. I mean, the argument is everywhere in California. I bet it's everywhere in Florida as well. They're like, they're doing jobs that Americans don't want. Well, I grew up in small town of America and like people do want jobs as landscapers and people do want jobs as bus boys and restaurants. Now, they're not like careers for 40 year old men, but they are jobs that young people want to do when they're first breaking into like the work environment and they want to make some money so that they can buy some things for themselves while
Starting point is 00:29:32 they're going to college or whatever. I had a post, Chris, on X from yesterday or maybe the day before, Wednesday. It was from Wednesday that got a ton of engagement. I was actually very surprised by it. I'm trying to find it here. I did not mean to pull this up, but let me get up here for a second but basically the story here is I was you know I was going after work on Wednesday had to go take care of what I had to take care of and yeah it's got well it's got 70,000 views that's a lot from you know for my platform it's not like crazy viral but that's more than what my normal post my normal pace between 5 to 10,000 this is almost 70,000 and the comments are insane and let me just pull it up
Starting point is 00:30:20 real quick I went to I went to dairy queen the other day I like dairy queen because they have cheese curds instead of fries And I love cheese. So they're not the best cheese curds, but they're cheese curds, darn it. Is this related to you being a Green Bay Packers fan? Yes, to an extent. Okay. The bar that my family and I go to to watch Packers games has the best cheese curds down here.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Nailed it. In South Florida. I don't want to piss off all my, my Wisconsin listeners out there. But, yeah. So, you know, this is just quickly what I was what I was dealing with. Hi, welcome to Dairy Queen. What can I get started for you today? Hey, can I get a number, a number nine? Okay. Medium or large combo?
Starting point is 00:31:11 Large. And can I get a Coke for the drink? Absolutely. For your number nine double original cheeseburger combo, upgrade your side to onion rings or cheese curds? Cheese curds. Anyways, you get the point. It's AI drive-thru. And I had to do the, the whole, the whole order all over again that video goes on for another minute and a half i did do the whole order all over again and then then when i get up to the window the the lady's like did you have the the burger in the small the small iced tea and i was like yeah wait wait
Starting point is 00:31:54 no i had a large double cheese burger with a coke with a large coke and um she's like well uh i don't have that so i have to put the order in and then she comes back and she's like okay so i've got a large bacon cheeseburger and I'm like no just a cheeseburger just a regular cheeseburger and so you know it's just now in Florida we are dealing with the $15 an hour thing we went from like normal federal minimum wage to a progressive like $10 and $12 and now I think we're finally at the $15 you know precipice like the top of it and this is what's going to happen and you're going to see this across and by the way that meal was still like $14 $14. Granted, I upgraded the cheese curds. It's a $2 upgrade. So it's $2 or $12
Starting point is 00:32:45 of the cheese skirts. So the customers paying more money. There is no employee to make the money or there's a reduction in employees obviously. And the money goes presumably to the company. And the minimum wage that was raised has cost people their jobs. That's what everyone was saying would happen 10 years ago when this conversation was everywhere, courtesy of the Bernie Sanders campaign. And the other thing is, though, and I don't know how this will affect, you know, people like you and your habits on, and I don't mean like it's a weird habit. I just mean it's part of your life that you will go hit a drive-through every now. Will the frustration with the AI make people want to stop coming because man it would take me once or twice that thing happening and me just
Starting point is 00:33:40 saying i will never go there again and i will just go somewhere else for the things that i want because how long that was taking to get responses would have driven me crazy there's just no justification and there's that so that dairy queen that we my wife and i go there for actual blizzards every once in a while i i haven't eaten fast food in probably three months and yeah i was i was on my way somewhere and I was starving and I had to get something in my stomach. So I just got a burger. I wouldn't I won't go back there. I won't the line is was all even with a normal person the line was already long. I got there and it took me 15 minutes for two cars to go in front of me. Oh dude. It's it's it's it's awful. It's it's really bad. So okay that would have driven me crazy. I cannot stand
Starting point is 00:34:28 getting slowed down by stuff like that. I know and then and then it took even longer you get the uh you get the can you pull into the spot and wait and it's like dude why do i have to pull into a spot that wait my order's ahead of the guy behind me why do i have to wait for you to finish his order so then you can get to my order and finish my it just piss me all right let's get into the election stuff before we do that we got to hit another sponsor we're going to get into president trump's speech here um but let's go ahead and talk about we hear a lot about crypto but here's the part that most People miss crypto was created so you can actually own and control your own money. After the 2008 financial crisis, Bitcoin was designed as an alternative to banks.
Starting point is 00:35:13 So instead of a bank holding your money, delaying transfers or limiting access, you are in control. And if you've ever had to wait for a transfer to clear, you felt that problem. Now, fast forward today and everyone's heard of crypto, but getting started still feels kind of complicated. That's exactly why I use Rumble wallet. It takes all that complexity and makes it simple. choose what you want whether it's Bitcoin dollar back stable coins or even digital gold backed by real gold no complicated setup connects with moon pay so you can use it with your credit card debit card or bank and be up and running in just minutes once you're set up you can even support your favorite rumble creators like us
Starting point is 00:35:49 directly so do this now scan the QR code click the link in the description and download rumble wallet from there you can set up your wallet tap buy and boom you're in the game in just a few minutes you can go from hearing about crypto to actually owning some i wonder if i could get sued by e a sports for that boom it says you said oh no it's not boom it's in the game it's ea sports it's in the game yeah yeah i don't think if they would sue you i think they would be happy no i definitely i definitely remember that dude all right i love sports so uh dude that was madden and and uh you know all the NHL hockey is like the greatest thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:36 Video game and people who have never played it. I'm sorry. I know that that sounds ridiculous. Do you play it online? I have many times in the past. Oh, man. On NHL hockey? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Let's link up. John about that too. Are you on PS5 or? Xbox. Ah. But John, John was doing, um, bad game. Bad gaming, yeah, and we were, we tried NHL one day.
Starting point is 00:37:08 All right, so before we get into it, you want to lay any foundation here? No, no, I think we can get right into it. All right. So this was the speech last night, widely speculated to be about elections, and it was. I did, if you guys watched a live stream last night, I hit every single point before the, before the speech. you know I'd been keeping that very extremely close to my chest because I there's a lot of traps going on and I had a feeling that there might be some traps around this so I was out there dispelling rumors that I believe not to be true the Ossoff Warnock op that went out there that he was going to delegitimize them that didn't come to fruition that Bill Pulte and all these others were going to be up there with them that never came to fruition yeah and what was Were they in the room though? I don't know if they were in the room or not, but like the whole thing was going to be like it was a show of force.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Like he was going to stand up there with Cash Patel and Bill. When is a president ever done a prime time address like that and had people like that behind him? I can't remember any time. Hmm. You know. Yeah. One doesn't come to me offhand, but it wouldn't. If he did that, I don't think I would have been surprised.
Starting point is 00:38:28 Yeah. Well, I mean, that wasn't in. what was briefed. So I just, I didn't go with that. Also, the, there was a rumor that he was going to declare a national emergency on elections. That could be coming. He alludes to that, but that wasn't part of it either. There was a lot of stuff that was, you know, and if you watch bad lands, you got the insider baseball. So let's get into this. And Chris, stop me at any time. There's a whole bunch of good stuff and we'll pause throughout this. The documents cover five major areas of concern.
Starting point is 00:39:02 First, they show that over a period of years, starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People's Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China's illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files that information includes names addresses phone numbers political party preferences and other sensitive data that would be needed to register to vote and engage in other nefarious activities which is exactly what was happening let me pause right there did you think it was interesting that he he said the um the people's republic of china instead of just china or the ccp or the the the communist chinese party did you think it was interesting that he he said he was interesting that he
Starting point is 00:39:55 he said the People's Republic of China? Yeah, I didn't catch that. I generally think that it is important when they make those kinds of distinctions. And so I would have to go back and look at it. And I think that that's a nice catch, but I haven't thought about it. Because I put out, you know, let me see. Again, I'm going to jump over to X for a second here. So I put this out on the 14th, on Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Has Trump truth this out? And he put out several pictures of him with President Xi. from their China summit last month or two months ago. I think it was May at the end of May. And he posted these pictures. And I thought it was very odd because this was July 14th. This is when my sources got their information about last night. And then, you know, he put out these three pictures.
Starting point is 00:40:49 And I just thought that was very interesting. And then the way that he phrased the People's Republic of China instead of you know the cp or china just as as a whole i don't know maybe i'm looking too far into that no brian i think that that's i think that's really well observed and the uh i did not connect those things and i'm glad you did the the fact that he's putting out those pictures with he and he and she together think is meaningful when he's about to go out on television and accuse quote unquote China of interfering in our elections. I think that's I think that's super meaningful. And I don't know what the answer is, but I think it's worth everyone paying attention to over the course of the next
Starting point is 00:41:35 days or maybe weeks and seeing how this thing evolves. All right. So again, a lot of this and we we've loaded this last night on the coverage is stuff that if you've been paying attention to Badlands Daily, if you've been paying attention to Daily Herald, to DPH, to especially why we vote, you're not getting much new here. MR. This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare. The intelligence even shows that China has signed a data exploitation unit specifically to this new project.
Starting point is 00:42:09 Compounding the travesty, the second set of documents we are releasing reveals that members of the deep state, very, very famous group of people, many cases, in our intelligence agency worked to actively suppress and downplay information about the extent of China's sinister election meddling covering it up from both the president and the American people like nobody thought was possible. U.S. spy agencies began learning about the compromise of voter registration files in 2020 when they discovered that tens of millions of voter data think of that tens of millions of voters data in 18 states have been bought, stolen, or hacked by China. Yet those responsible for sounding the alarm instead kept the information secret and hidden.
Starting point is 00:43:06 They did not disclose to me as president or to anyone else and to the best of our knowledge. They did not inform Congress. In fact, all they kept saying is this is the most secure election in the history of our country, a standard very pat line that was divvied out to say the cover up of this colossal security breach is even more disturbing in light of the additional information showing that china engaged in other election related activities to undermine my first administration in our 2020 campaign they'd okay so let's pause there because we're going to get some stuff that i actually did not know i i mean you could have assumed and speculated but didn't know that that. So 220 million voter rolls, voter registration files that were accessed. He alludes to, and this has been, you know, written by Just the News that not only did they access these voter rolls, they also had significant abilities to do, to manipulate them, to alter them and other things. Let me jump over here to this real quick before we get back to
Starting point is 00:44:15 the speech. This is Christina Park at Just the News. And again, John Solomon was was directly in engaged in this information. He's made that crystal clear. I knew that since Tuesday that he was directly involved in this. And so I kind of prefaced this and prepared myself by reviewing some of the things that John Solomon has been disclosing over the last, you know, year or so on just the news. And, you know, when we talk about, you know, a lot of times, and I think, I think you agree with me on this. But John Solomon is kind of like the soft disclosure of what's going on behind the scenes in this administration, especially in regards to the weaponization that we saw during the first administration. And I'm basing this off of his, you know, NARA and as the liaison with Cash Patel to Nara, whether or not he has crossfire hurricane or has access to it or reviewed it. I don't want to put words in your mouth there.
Starting point is 00:45:19 I mean, I think that that's certainly one interpretation that may well be partially or fully correct. I mean, I don't think there's any doubt that he is a key disseminator of a certain timed and scripted narrative release. And so that's what I focus on. The fact that it is timed and scripted, we can see that there's something larger going on, that this is not just reporting the news as it happens. And, you know, that is a distortion of what we're led to believe is the normal journalistic process. And so that opens up other questions about what it is exactly he's doing.
Starting point is 00:45:57 And he's got plenty of associations that would suggest that he is doing all of this on behalf of the quote unquote good guys. I just, as soon as I know that something is scripted in time, I'm going to be like super, supremely skeptical about it. And that includes with people who do seem friendly because someone actually has to look at that angle from our perspective, I believe. We can't just go ahead and say,
Starting point is 00:46:24 oh, these guys are our friends because unfortunately, a lot of the stuff that's been pushed over the years has been inaccurate and you have to wonder where some of that information is coming from. There are a bunch of people that we think are really good behind this stuff and then a bunch of people who end up becoming over time quite questionable behind this stuff on this side, moving from this perspective. So I'm open-minded to a lot of
Starting point is 00:46:47 things. I don't know what the ultimate status of that is, but I hope he's good. I mean, his co-host is a friend of mine. So I really hope that all of this is just totally on the up and up and that we are being given the best information in the way that will be most effective. So I, you know, I think that from a strategic standpoint, right, and we often look at this as you know, a war, right? And it's not like a full blown out in the public war, but a war behind the scenes between President Trump, between his agenda, between his mission, right, the destruction of, you know, the quote unquote deep state. Tonight he acknowledges the deep state. And I, you know, I think from a strategic standpoint, you have to have a strategy. And that strategy in this case
Starting point is 00:47:37 includes disclosure of certain information, at least from him. And Solomon's been putting it out as it comes out. It's a soft disclosure, right? It's not like full in your face. It's not the documents themselves, the source documents. We got, we're getting, you know, it's being released now, but we got the president coming out and saying this. And this was on a timeline that, you know, I thought was the most logical timeline to
Starting point is 00:48:01 expose the election right before an election. And the reason for that is first. First, it puts the bad actors on their heels, right? And I said that if we are going to get the Save America Act, it will be right before at the last possible moment in the 11th hour. You'll get it because it's the last opportunity for them to be able to pivot and move in a different direction with the fraud mechanisms. Is it going to be the be all and all? Absolutely not. Good. So you, I just want to make sure that I'm understanding you. If the Save Act comes out, are we already in the 11th hour, would you say?
Starting point is 00:48:36 hour, would you say? Yes, we're definitely in the 11th hour. Okay. And so if it were to happen within the course of the next few weeks, you know, we are now, I guess, what, 105 or something days between now and the election. So if it happens within, let's say, 90 days, because 90 days is often like a legal, that's like one of those periods that you see commonly appear in, uh, based on different. rules sets and legal mechanisms like a check lasts for 180 days or you can't do this in terms of elections if you're 90 days from the day to the election i think that we've seen that sort of thing a few times so if this happens in a few weeks and we're in say that 90 day window what do you expect to happen at that point are our election process is actually going to be
Starting point is 00:49:30 changed to comport with the save act because i would suggest that all that happens is that uh lawsuits are filed, there are federal judges willing to file injunctions to stop any changes being made so that the election happens under the same process. And then a court battle is waged, and then elections are or are not canceled, but it's just chaos at that point, and nobody is going to trust the results in election. And so all of that, I think, is fine. And I'm happy to operate in that environment. I'm just wondering what you see happening along those lines. So I think that with it now part of what is it HR 8595 or whatever the national defense national security bill, right? And we'll get into that here.
Starting point is 00:50:16 But with it being a part of that, I think that that's a, and it's a 50 simple majority bill doesn't require a, because it's a budget bill. It doesn't require the 60 vote, you know, to break the filibuster. So I do think it's going to pass probably next week, I would imagine. Maybe, maybe not. You know, now if it does get into the territory you're talking about, I have no idea what's going to happen. I don't think you're going to be able to challenge the Save America Act on legal grounds because I think everything within that, especially in the scope of federal elections, is within Congress's authority to do. So I don't think you can challenge it on the legitimacy of the act. However, they'll challenge, like you said, that it's within that 90-day window or ballots have already been printed and you'll cause a, you know, a stir.
Starting point is 00:51:02 and then they'll get kicked back to the 2028 general election. That's one possibility. I don't know what else could happen beyond that. But I don't think they're going to be able to challenge the legitimacy of the act itself. Of the Save America Act? Yeah. I don't know that they'll be able to challenge that. Why do you say that?
Starting point is 00:51:23 Like you mean between when it is quote unquote passed and when the election happens, you don't think that they'll be able to successfully challenge it? No. the legitimacy of the act i think article one section four gives them the authority in the elections clause for congress to make certain laws that can regulate elections for federal elections yes okay well i understand i understand that part for sure um but from the so yes there's there's some there's some battle there over what the election clause means and how broad an interpretation of the elections clause is appropriate um i don't know if you saw d ph on saturday
Starting point is 00:52:02 but I went back and was looking at some of this and trying to figure out what the intent was behind the elections clause initially and then how it was used. Turns out it wasn't used at all for the first, 53 years. I think it was like 1842, I think was the first time. So I think that's about 53 years
Starting point is 00:52:23 from the ratification of the Constitution. So it wasn't used at all. The idea was that there had to be a mechanism for the federal government to push back against the states if the states were doing something on toward that would undermine the legitimacy of the federal government or their ability to govern. So I could see the argument that the Constitution would permit them to pass such an act. But in terms of the conflicts that would arise between the provisions of the SAVE Act and what the states intend to do with their elections,
Starting point is 00:52:54 I can see that being a long, drawn out contest that might yield injunctions. I'm not saying that they would be able to ultimately win that, but in terms of that limited time frame and the effect that it would have, because we have accepted the idea that pragmatic concerns should be primary among reasons for court decisions to be made and not just the constitutional concern, which should be the only concern, right, whether or not something is constitutional is the only concern, and instead we allow pragmatic concerns to override that. From that perspective, I could see a whole lot of courts stepping in to stop provisions to save act from being implemented in election process is that close to an election. So I don't know how you feel about it.
Starting point is 00:53:42 Well, so any case will be brought in D.C. And it will probably at the district level, it will probably be, it will probably be stopped, right? There will be an injunction. Do they have to be brought in D.C.? Is that what you're saying? This would have to be brought in D.C. Because it's a, it's Congress. they're suing the federal government. Yeah. Right. Right. And again, they have very favorable judges in
Starting point is 00:54:07 Bosberg's district in that court. But the appellate court, the appellate court in D.C. has been favorable to President Trump. The appellate court has generally this term been favorable to him. I believe he has an appointee on there. I think there's also a Bush appointee on there. You know, I don't remember the specifics of that. Now, to be clear, elections have been more. one of those kind of stay away from it, from the courts, right? We saw that during 2020. They wanted nothing to do with any challenges to elections. This is different.
Starting point is 00:54:40 This is a challenge to maintain the status quo. So the courts can go anyway, in my opinion. And in keeping that injunction in place, if there is actually some establishment aspect and manipulation of our system, that would influence a decision like that. I could see them upholding the injunction and ruling that the 2026
Starting point is 00:55:00 terms have to go on prior as as planned prior to the Save America Act. However, I think ultimately the Save America Act prevails ultimately. And will we see that before 2026? I don't know. That's a good question. That's something that we should probably unpack in a longer form show. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:20 I mean, just the idea that the Save Act is going to override all of the legal efforts that are made to stop it. Gosh man, that's a tough one for me to get on board with just because the fact, again, we heard last night, and of course we've known this for many years, but that the elections are illegitimate and it's not just for the presidential elections. So we're talking about people who cannot prove their own legitimacy in office, changing our election procedures in advance of an election. I don't trust any of those people.
Starting point is 00:55:55 So we haven't seen it pass so far. I think at this point optically, it's clear that Trump is behind the Save Act, right? Like that idea packaged as one thing. Trump is behind the Save Act. There's nobody who can dispute that. He has come out in every single forum possible, posted about it for months and months on truth social. Now he's done this national address that more than enough people have seen to know that
Starting point is 00:56:20 Trump is saying, call your illegitimate congressmen and senators and ask them to pass the Save Act. So his hands are clean on this thing. I still don't see how it's gonna possibly become quote unquote law because the people who are making it lawed are subject to the same claims of illegitimacy that this election's exposure makes impossible to deny. And I don't know if I said that very well, but-
Starting point is 00:56:50 No, no, no, I understand what you're saying, but they still, I mean, until the election is, completely, and I think you and I would agree that it's already been proven illegitimate because it's on the burden should be them to prove the legitimacy of the election. But until it's officially, whatever that means, whatever officially means, until it's officially declared illegitimate, they still can do it. And I think they're going to do it. And maybe, you know, in the future, we get some more exposure that shows that they are in fact completely illegitimate. And then we have to go back and look at, you know, the questions of what does Joe Biden's quote unquote presidency mean what does everything that
Starting point is 00:57:31 they've done since then mean we could go all the way back to HAVA and the NVRA and say what does all of this mean the Patriot Act we do away with the Patriot Act yes a hundred percent yes and I think I think the problem actually goes much deeper than that and I think the unwinding of these processes has to go much deeper than that and so that was and we don't need to get into a whole long thing about the big picture stuff last night although I think it's important to at least mention the big picture consequence of what was said last night is that none of these people have the legitimate authority to govern and that the people have every reason to suggest and to say and to demand that all of these people vacate these offices and stop operating under the pretense
Starting point is 00:58:14 that they are legitimate representatives of the people with legitimate governing authority. They do not have that. And so if Trump is doing the good thing that we think he's doing, and in my mind, I, I, I I have my own picture about what I think is operating here. And I think Trump is trying to move us back into the original constitutional form and that his actions must comport with that original constitutional form
Starting point is 00:58:38 while they also comport with this constitutional abomination that we operate under now. I don't know how he's able to square that with going ahead with something like the SAVE Act, knowing that it would be invalidated later on. And if it's just, It's just for the sake of causing the chaos that gets the election problem resolved. I'm not saying I'm not on board with that thing.
Starting point is 00:59:04 It's just that it presents a new problem that has to be unwound. So if we put the SAVE Act in place, and a lot of people are talking about SAVE Act or the National Emergency Declaration or an executive order, none of those things fix and legitimize the elections. And the truth is we don't need our elections to be fixed or legitimized in this short period. we can just skip the whole thing altogether and not put in a new crop of illegitimate quote-unquote representatives to figure out how to rule us. I think that the whole, we need to put the brakes on the entire thing. And I think last night was another good argument for that case. I don't see this as a problem that needs a very quick fix so that we can go on with the midterm elections and empower new people who, by the way, have already been selected in a primary process based on the bad elections.
Starting point is 00:59:52 So I would just say shut the whole thing down, but that's just me. I mean, that's the key point right there is that the primary elections have already been hashed out. We already have the illegitimate candidates that are going to be put on the ballot using the same fake system that President Trump just exposed. You know, last night. And I would also say. And continues to expose, by the way. And just another point on top of that. We now have in Maine a candidate that needs to be replaced in the Democrat Party.
Starting point is 01:00:22 outside of the primary process. And Lindsay Graham has just been replaced with his sister. We are in a very weird situation. And we saw the same thing happened in 2024, by the way, where Kamala Harris was put in outside of the normal primary process. So I would suggest that something very, very strange and much, much bigger is happening in the background. And I think it is imperative to filter all our analysis
Starting point is 01:00:54 through the understanding that something else is clearly going on in the background behind this election thing. And again, because we can't possibly know what that is or get close enough to fully grasp it, what we should do is put our hands up and say, okay, well, you know what, we're just not going to do this. We're not going to do this at all. Let's get these. I remember that quote from Trump when he was talking about the travel ban. He's like, we just need to shut the whole thing down until we figure out what the hell is going on. I think we need to apply that framework to many more things across the board. I think, you know, to steal a term that, well, to kind of play off a term that was used by Mark
Starting point is 01:01:35 Elias, he coined the term pageantry of democracy. It's one of Ash's favorite terms. The pageantry of legitimacy is what we have right now. And we have a Congress that, and to be clear, I don't know that, you know, how many of them actually know that they're illegitimate or that they cannot prove the legitimacy of their election. I don't know how many actually know that. I'm sure some of them are well aware of it. I think the best case scenario, and again, this is going back to what we were just arguing,
Starting point is 01:02:05 how far back do we go with all of this, is you kind of like clear the slate and say, you know what, next election, we're going to do with this the way that is determined to be free and fair, whether that's handmarked paper ballots, live streamed at the precinct level, whatever the case might be, and then we need to move on from there. We need to go back and assess things like the Patriot Act, was that something that was put in place by an illegitimate Congress in order, and how far outside the bounds of the Constitution does that actually go? Because I think it's well outside the scope and, you know, limits put on there.
Starting point is 01:02:42 And this, again, this is a GART discussion. So if you've ever been to GART or if you've never been to guard this is what you miss but i i got to pull us back here chris because i do a limited time i apologize i would love to talk about this with you all day yeah and i and we could but but we can't um so let's let's get back into the article here so uh by Beijing obtained millions of voter records here's what dhs says china can do with them uh dhs warned that china could exploit compromise voter registration data to obtain absentee ballots alter voter information and delete from state databases. Gee, where have I heard those things from before?
Starting point is 01:03:22 China has compromised more than 200 million voter registration entries, affecting 18 states, citing newly declassified U.S. intelligence community records compiled by the government transparency task force. The impact of the breaches is not limited to undermining confidence or spreading false claims, but the data itself could be used months or years after the breach to alter voter registration information, the agencies wrote. The real threat is what can be done with the stolen data. Now, this was written, I believe this report was written, when was this report?
Starting point is 01:03:59 This was, oh, okay. Can you click it open and just, will it have a date on the time? Yeah, it was July of 2026. I have that report on my other screen. I'm going to read that for why we vote. Malicious actors could obtain absentee ballots by stealing someone's identity and casting in their name. I don't think that that's what happened.
Starting point is 01:04:16 broadly. This is possible since nearly in nearly every election jurisdiction. A breach can allow bad actors to access public information such as name, date of birth, address, other sensitive information like driver's license, full or partial, social security numbers and voter signatures on file. Man, Chris, this is sounding a lot like that event that you and I went to that we won't. Can't we speak of it? Yeah, I mean, we can when we went to the pit. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, yeah, some of this is definitely, uh, definitely that same information or in the same arena. And that should make us reconsider the pit,
Starting point is 01:04:53 but also make us reconsider this information relative to how we saw things play out after that. I think it should make us reconsider the op that took place following the pit, right? The expose of Connick and then you know, you get for some reason Gascon out in Los Angeles going after Eugene, you, Michigan like why is the DA in Los Angeles going after the guy in Michigan the Chinese you know
Starting point is 01:05:24 naturalized Chinese whatever foreign national in Michigan and then he gets out there he presses charges against him and then he ends up dismissing those charges and paying them five million dollars for wrongful prosecution well that guy Eric Neff the guy that was prosecuting him is now in the DOJ under the civil rights and is you know signing off on a lot of these documents so um you know who knows what's going to end up coming of this. I will say in a plug here, next week on why we vote, Ash and I will have Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote on the program to talk about the speech, as well as a lot of this stuff right here. A malicious actor could alter the voter registration records, such as changing a voter's address or changing party affiliation. When carefully distributed,
Starting point is 01:06:08 such an attack could even go unnoticed. Bad actors could also bypass identity checks and go and log into official online state systems or even delete voter registration files entirely. And that's where I want to land that because that is something we did see in the 2020 election. And we talk about this all the time. The front loading of voter registrations, the election takes place. And then on the back end, you know, days, months, weeks later, you see all those voters disappear. And we never get any explanation for this. They're just like, oh, you know, we just did a cleaning.
Starting point is 01:06:41 Was that China accessing the system? Was that other bad actors accessing the systems? Loading them up, voting, and then dumping them at the end to clean up the evidence. I was, I stayed up for, I don't know, half an hour, 45 minutes last night, just kind of poking around through some of these documents. And I'm not suggesting I have gone deep into any of them. But I think I saw at one point that some of this data, China had gotten some of this data off of people's TikToks. And I don't want to overstate this case because, again, I haven't looked through the totality and I don't want to like overrepresent an isolated incident in case that's what it is. But the idea that we are giving away all this data through these social media apps and expecting that it won't be exploited against us in whatever ways it can be exploited, that's a little silly at this point.
Starting point is 01:07:34 And I just want to make sure to make this point at some juncture here. When we're talking about China or we're talking about Venezuela, we're talking about Russia, talking about Iran, these are all countries that have been mentioned as being somehow involved in election interference in United States elections over the past decade. We had Russia in 2016. We had China, Iran, Venezuela with the machines, China and Iran with cyber intrusions into aspects of our election infrastructure. we were told that even just the day before the election in 2020, I believe. The names of these countries, and I think this is important with the PRCCCCC distinction you were making earlier, to say that Iran did it or to say that China did it or to say that Russia did it or Venezuela did it, all of these things are in some sense irrelevant because they don't actually tell us what the parties were in any of these countries creating the problems. And when you look at things through good twin and evil twin,
Starting point is 01:08:39 as I do, and you're thinking really about the fact that there are factions in every one of these countries who are on board with this particular global agenda and they advance their cause through the control and manipulation of elections among other things. Well, it's really important to be correct about which faction is doing it because I think that we can, I think that we will see over the next few weeks, I think that we can see, but I think that we will see this revelation about China being used to support future war efforts in China because people had wanted to go to war with China over the Taiwan thing for a really long time. The semiconductor rationalization has kind of collapsed over the years. I imagine this one will as well, but it's going to be used and we can
Starting point is 01:09:23 see people already using it for those reasons. And that is the point in why I brought up President Trump throthing out the picture of him with President Xi, because I think he's making that point that this is not China as a whole. These are factions within a country. Last night when he talked about Venezuela, he says that there's no evidence that these plans were used on the United States, right? The Venezuela, there's no, there's no evidence. And again, I have the brief. You know, I told you guys beforehand what was going to be the five categories. And I even said, there's five categories. That's why President Trump started the speech. There's five categories. there was no evidence that that any of the Venezuelan stuff was used in the United States,
Starting point is 01:10:08 first and foremost. Second, he alludes to the 2020 election. Well, you have all these three-letter guys that are out there now on on X and other platforms saying smartmatic, smartmatic, smartmatic. Well, smartmatic was long gone by 2020 in Venezuela, long gone. Then you have them saying that they uncovered the plan to do this in Venezuela, but that it wasn't implemented. Now, president. Now that's what the brief says. President Trump in the speech says it was implemented, I believe, and we'll get to that. But here's the thing, man, like in the same context of President Trump keeping Xi on his true social, putting G up on true social as he's about to blast China for stealing our election.
Starting point is 01:10:50 He's about to blast Maduro in Venezuela for allegedly stealing an election, but he keeps Delci Rodriguez, who is literally the one that the three-letter guys. are railing on in their book in their in their quote unquote bible she's the one that they rail on the most and she is now the leader there meanwhile the one that they're supporting and saying she should go in is is akuna matata maria carina machado and president trump the administration right now is like no stay away you you are you are evil stay away you're not going back into venezuela stay here in the united states and we're going to keep you lock and key whatever the case might be. And then the last thing I'll point out on this, Chris, is in 2020, Maduro's party won a massive majority. I think they swept the election in 2020. So I'm kind of wondering, and this is
Starting point is 01:11:44 something I said last night before we went, before we watched the speech. In 2020, was Smartmatic already gone? Was it Maduro that was going to flip the election or did they stop the opposition party from doing it? I would think it's that. And we've seen a good reason to believe that twice now because Trump said that Juan Guaido was the legitimate leader of Venezuela back then. And then a couple of years later, regime outlets, I believe it was an axios and sometime in 2023 just essentially admitted that Juan Guaido had never actually become the leader of
Starting point is 01:12:24 Venezuela. Like that just was never true at any point. And then they tried the same thing with the Edmundo Gonzalez-Zarutia election. Maria, Karina Machado, was never in that election. She was just going to be the Kamala Harris to González Arutia as Joe Biden, and she would come in and replace him and then be the young female globalist face of this new effort. And we see those kinds of models being used all around the world, wherever they're running, color revolutions it's common in europe in eastern europe they tried it in uh belarus it looked like
Starting point is 01:13:02 they were setting up selensky's wife to be that character in ukraine they had uh that uh i think your name was sanna marin or something in uh i believe it was norway someone could check oh maybe finland um but there's like this they they wanted uh alexi navani's wife julia and first alexi then julia to be that character in russia They create these characters and then they try to put them in through the manipulation of these elections. And they try to do it twice with like kind of the Obama male version, which is Juan Guaido, and then the Kamala female version, which is a punimatata. So there's just so much going on here, man. And it's also ridiculous.
Starting point is 01:13:42 This, again, we could take hours on this, but we should. And that's one of the reasons, Chris, why when I hear all of these three letter agency guys that are, you know, X informer out there saying that, you know, Maduro stole, Maduro stole, Maduro. Maduro stole it. Well, the person that you're trying to put in there is your guy, right? That's the, in this case, girl. That's the USAID National Endowment backed. I can't remember her organization that's funded by those entities in Venezuela. That is their person. So of course, you're going to try and say that it's rigged in favor of Maduro, and we need to go in there and put this person in place, overthrow. So again, President Trump didn't exactly shoot it down, but he took a lot of weight away from
Starting point is 01:14:26 my argument in this case and supported there. So just telling it like it is, it didn't look good for my prophecy or my prediction, not prophecy, my prediction on that. And then knowing who it is, these people are supporting, when they get fully behind some of these claims, it has to make you question what these claims are, where they're coming from and what they're to be used for. Because ultimately, we're being, last night, we were being given claims from the intelligence community. And so if we are going to believe these claims, we are accepting as a basis for that belief the trustworthiness of some of these intelligence
Starting point is 01:15:09 organizations, which I'm not willing to get on board with. I will accept this as a plausible explanation of some of the manipulations in our election but to then turn that toward the passage of the SAVE Act does not make any sense to use it as a predicate for war with these other countries does not make any sense and to think that this somehow provides an explanation that says our elections are legitimate and functioning but for this interference that doesn't make any sense if the interference was gone the elections would still be fake and the outcomes would still be predetermined. So these are explanatory layers for a much bigger problem
Starting point is 01:15:51 that I agree does exist. And maybe these things are real explanations for parts of that problem. But if all of these if all of these infiltrations and intrusions and manipulations were somehow eliminated and cleaned up, the process still would not produce legitimate elections. And so we really have to be, we really have to be thorough in these things. Go ahead. No, that's a fantastic point. And this is something when Ash and I were doing that book on Badlands Book Club, this was one of the points that we made constantly on that book is that, you know,
Starting point is 01:16:27 we're all pointing to, you know, this globalist like point out towards other countries instead of directing it inside. And Ash and I have worked more on elections than probably anybody in this case. You guys are the best. in terms of reporting and all that stuff. And you know what we very rarely cover, Chris? Foreign interference. Very rarely do we cover other than an in-passing story.
Starting point is 01:16:51 When we talk to people, it's all their local stuff that's going on. Everything, and this is why I believe that President Trump didn't mention Georgia last night. First, it's an ongoing investigation, but also that's all local. That's not foreign interference. China didn't do anything there. Venezuela didn't do anything there. Now, could they be influencing NGOs and other things like that? that sure sure but he does mention uh michigan right again that was broken by by patty mcmurray who
Starting point is 01:17:17 we had on why we vote last tuesday uh and and the gateway pundit up in michigan that's not foreign interference that's all organic NGOs funded by our own government you know funded by a lot of these you know whether it's taxpayer money getting laundered back in whatever the case might be i i don't know that the foreign interference is as exact or as um as as as a parent as they're trying to make it as as full forced in as they're trying to make it in reality that creates a scapegoat right it creates a boogeyman that you cannot do anything to and so you're able to operate freely throughout the united states as the intelligence community as the NGO network associated with the intelligence community and you have no fear of repercussions
Starting point is 01:18:05 because everybody's looking at china and everybody's looking at venezuela where we'll never get any information about it because we can't go over to China and do investigations. We can't go over to Venezuela and do investigations. But we can do them here and you're delegitimizing hard work by Americans down here that have done work on the elections in their communities and the problems that have arisen and they're not foreign. Yeah, I think all that is really well said. The other thing I think that is worth mentioning is that prior to
Starting point is 01:18:39 of Trump, what we had in Washington, D.C. is essentially the foreign, like, non-state, non-U.S. Federal city that conducts the operations of the empire, which itself is a foreign entity embedded in our country and in our government. So the foreign interference is coming from Washington, D.C., and we should be mindful of that at all times. But, yeah, I, I, I mean, it's the foreign interference level is certainly important. And we have executive order 13848. I assume John and I will probably give some discussion on that tomorrow. And those elements are all very important.
Starting point is 01:19:23 But the problem is absolutely here. And it seems like a, and I don't want to say that President Trump is running a limited hangout, but it's entirely possible for him to put out legitimate information. And then other people use it that way by redirecting attention toward the Save Act or these other things that do not compromise and do not even engage with the illegitimacy of the people currently in office. And so, yes, I think the problem is much deeper. It's embedded in American entities and in Americans themselves. I'm fine with this as a stepping stone, you know, and I don't think that there's any reason.
Starting point is 01:19:59 There's certainly nothing upsetting about what happened last night. It doesn't make me feel hopeless in any way that this happened. But it's not all the way there. And in terms of, I'll just share this quickly, in terms of the waking up the Normies aspect of this, oh, maybe I didn't even save it on my desktop. But if you look at the front page of CNN right now, they have, actually, I can just open up CNN and share that instead. Here's the number one story of the day. Yeah. There you go.
Starting point is 01:20:32 Oh, no, I didn't mean that, Brian. Just let's look at the front page. So the main story is over 100 million people deal with smoke from Canadian wildfires. And then up in the corner, key takeaways from Trump's prime time speech on elections. Oh, man. That's what we have being communicated to the public. So the idea that these sorts of things are going to wake up the normies, that is a fantastical myth that is just rolled out again and again and again by the same set of people online who are involved. in coordinated messaging operations,
Starting point is 01:21:08 and you can see them if you scroll any feed on the internet and social media, you will see people making all the same points over and over and over again to score social credit points. And it's all very, it's clustered within similar agenda-related initiatives, the major one, of course, being the passage of the Save Act. Yeah. Yeah. Let me kind of slide into that realm there, Chris, because we are going to run out of time here.
Starting point is 01:21:40 And I do think this is probably the more important part of this. You know, again, most people here on Badlands have already seen a lot of this information in some form or fashion, maybe not to the same extent and maybe not from an authoritative source as much as, you know, President Trump and the declassified documents. But we've covered these stories, whether it's, you know, through investigations that, that I've written about, whether it's through just the news, whatever the case might be. This is President Trump, this is, this is, I do think this was intended more for the, the average American audience. However, the coordinated messaging, it wasn't even coordinated
Starting point is 01:22:21 messaging. The, the, the coordinated messaging was we're not going to message it. And, and here's President Trump saying that. In a rare move, NBC and ABC fake news have both said, that they would not cover this speech. They knew what it was about because of the fact that they don't like the topic, because they know how corrupt our system is, and they don't want to reveal it. They and others in the media are part of a plot. They want to continue this fraud for whatever reason. They want to keep it going.
Starting point is 01:22:51 They want to protect the radical left. They can't have a great country, and that's true. You can't have a great country without free and fair elections. Fraud like this should mean a revocation of their licenses. They use our public multi-billion-dollar-in-value airways for absolutely no money. They pay nothing. All we want is honesty in our elections and honesty in reporting. They pay nothing for multi-billion dollar assets.
Starting point is 01:23:24 Great damage has been done to our country. Our elections were left vulnerable to being rigged and stolen. and the trust of the American people was lost. This cannot be allowed to continue. Every American, whether you're a Republican, Democrat, independent, or otherwise, should be able to agree that we deserve the most secure, honest, and fair election system anywhere. All right. So that lands there.
Starting point is 01:23:51 And then one more here, Chris. And then we can jump into this. So CNN, so he mentions ABC and NBC. ABC and NBC and CBS, I'm not sure, but some of the outlets. And then this was CNN. A quick reminder to our viewers, we'll be watching tonight's presidential address and listening to what the president says tonight. But we're not going to take it live, as we've been discussing. That's because this president, sadly, has a history of misleading.
Starting point is 01:24:17 And in some cases, simply false statements on what we've been talking about tonight, election security and integrity. Also, the White House earlier today said he would be showing newly classified documents. So we want to make sure that we have time to review those documents. Talk to experts about them, contextualize, whatever he says or shows before airing it. But if there is news, we will bring it to you ASAP. That is one of the most shocking statements I've ever heard. Your job is to report on the news. The president of the United States giving a prime time address is news, period.
Starting point is 01:24:53 You can do all the fact checking you want after that. But to sit there and say that I have to censor. and fact check the president before we can allow you to hear what your president, who you elected allegedly, has to say to you, that is mind-blowing, dude. That is absolutely mind-blowing. And fact-check it, they did. But yeah, man, like that clip right there should be played everywhere. And, you know, anybody that's like, oh, yeah, they're right.
Starting point is 01:25:28 you guys are retarded. I'm not saying are anybody listening here would ever agree with anything that was just said there. I'm speaking on behalf of people that would be like, oh yeah, CNN's right. We should let them listen first and make sure that it's appropriate for us to hear. No, F off.
Starting point is 01:25:45 F off. They think you're retarded. They think you are not intellectually capable to do your own research, to listen to some information, to assess the facts and whatnot. They have to do it for you. they have to be able to gate keep what is being said to you that's insane that is not a free and fair press that is a captured media that is trying to maintain its grip of control yeah i think that
Starting point is 01:26:12 the um the public airwaves aspect to this is interesting with the broadcast licenses and the rest of it that's clearly a major narrative that's out there right now i think it's also interesting seeing some of the changes in ownership of some of these companies over the years you know cbs is now under that Paramount Skydance Ellison umbrella and CNN is kind of ancillary to that. I don't know what the current state of CNN ownership is, but they are in that mix with the whole Ellison conglomerate. And so I wonder how that aspect is influencing the decisions on the coverage. Let's get into their fact check, Chris. CNN, what Trump's newly declassified documents do and don't say about threats to U.S. elections.
Starting point is 01:27:03 Though the documents are newly declassified, they largely discuss vulnerabilities that have been known for years. Did you know that, Chris? Did you know that CNN has known those for years? I looked for reporting on them. I haven't seen any. The only reporting I've seen from them is debunked, debunked, debunked. Experts say that this is not true. Experts say this is debunked.
Starting point is 01:27:21 But apparently now, Chris, this has been known for years. This is old news. And you can see election officials have tried to address them, which is almost the same as having legitimate elections. That's my favorite part. So this statement right here just sets the tone for this article. Known for years and election officials have been trying to address it. That is a complete capitulation to what we've been saying this whole entire time. They're like, yes, yes, you're right, you're right.
Starting point is 01:27:50 this is widely known yes election officials have been trying to fix it none of that's true when they're reporting i do think there are election officials that would genuinely want to uh you know fix things and try and change things unfortunately they don't have the legislatures they don't have the the you know the ability to pass law but also CNN's not reported on any of that stuff over the last six years none of it um none of the declassified information supports the claim that any previous election results, including the 2020 contest, were manipulated by a foreign interference or fraud in any way that would have changed the outcome. White House officials have framed the disclosure as an attempt to correct vulnerabilities
Starting point is 01:28:34 ahead of the midterm elections in November, despite the fact that Trump has shuttered many federal organizations that were tracking and publicizing foreign influence campaigns. What organizations is he talked? Are they talking about the EAC? what organizations has have been shuttered by Trump that have been tracking and publicizing foreign influence campaigns? I think that that's, and I can't remember the identity of the organizations, but I think that that's something related to the cyber stuff under DHS that was. Yeah, I don't know if it was SISA, though. I think it was one of the other ones.
Starting point is 01:29:11 I'm sorry, I can't remember exactly. I remember talking about this subject with John. Well, I mean, if they paid attention to what President Trump was saying based on declassified documents, now declassified documents, it seems like the federal organizations that were tracking and publicizing foreign influence campaigns were not reporting the public influence campaigns to the President of the United States. And that was one of the more shocking things. And we didn't get to that part of the speech. But, you know, President Trump said that they were tracking this. And they, John Solomon has reported on this for months. So this isn't anything breaking to us.
Starting point is 01:29:43 but they you know they deliberately kept this information from the president in his daily briefs following the 2020 election and you know that was intentional to stop any challenge or any use or investigation into those things when it was fresh right so you know for them to say that he's shuddering the federal organizations the federal organizations are the CIA and the fbi and the national intelligence counsel and you know the other intelligence apparatus but he should shudder those organizations you absolutely should shudder those organizations uh white house officials suggested the information some of which has been known for years was withheld from senior top elected officials this is the worst propaganda like this is cnn freaking out and trying to
Starting point is 01:30:35 program you the same way they wouldn't let you watch the speech live this is their rebuttal we've known this for years. It's nothing new. Don't pay attention to it. It's just Trump being Trump. Among the points that Trump plans to discuss, claims that there are major vulnerabilities with U.S. voting machines, claims that China has obtained voter data, nothing about them actually changing or manipulating it, claims about voter registration fraud by Democrats in Michigan, claims there are far more non-citizens on the voter rolls than known before. This information has already been made public, they highlight once again. The documents and no were intended to round up everything the U.S. government had information about that was tied to past reports,
Starting point is 01:31:15 set a source with direct knowledge of the U.S. intelligence community's assessment on foreign interference around the 2020 election. That, what you saw last night, guys, was not anywhere near everything the U.S. government had information about that was tied to past reports. Not even close. Not even close. That was a couple thousand. They've released a couple thousand documents out of 11 million. 11 million. And I think that's it.
Starting point is 01:31:45 Then it gets in the- The 11 million thing, I think that people should be wary of that. And I'm not saying that there are not 11 million documents. It's just that we were also told that we were going to get millions of documents when it comes to JFK and RFK and MLK and Epstein and the rest of it, that alien stuff. And so a lot of the time we get these documents. A lot of them are mostly irrelevant. Some of them are totally unverified claims.
Starting point is 01:32:11 So our expectations should probably be tempered on that. But we can get into the machine thing. And then I just want to call your attention. I shared a video there. This is from kind of from breaking news. Mark Quain is laying it down about machine vulnerabilities. Just real quick, Chris, one last thing I want to highlight. So CNN right here when we're talking about machines,
Starting point is 01:32:34 this is there, we've known this, a declassified CIA member from June said that the U.S. intelligence community determined in 2006 that Venezuela and Smartmatic did not have the capabilities to manipulate the outcome of elections outside of Venezuela. 2006, Chris. How many years ago was that? I would say 20. 20 years. All right.
Starting point is 01:32:58 Let's play this. About our machines, we know for sure that our foreign adversaries, not our allies, foreign adversaries have parts that are vital pieces in our voting machines. We know that they can access what they consider the key to the back of these votes, to these machines. We know that they can change voter registration and your vote. We know it's possible. There's not a question. It's not even for debate.
Starting point is 01:33:34 One thing that I love about numbers, And I love about facts is they don't lie. This isn't something that I'm trying to tell you to spin a narrative. This is what is going on. And what we are saying is that every state should partner with us to work to secure this. Once we identify the problem, everybody should be informed. Working with Secretary Lutnik, we are going to make our security enhancement mandatory, meaning that if these states want to grant and they want to be reimbursed to
Starting point is 01:34:18 work or to run federal elections, they're going to have to implement security issues. Just security issues. We're not trying to get into anything else, but we're saying that the machines have to be secured and that your voter registration list needs to be scrubbed. we need to make sure that individuals that are legally able to vote are voting so some good things he said there and then some atrociously awful things he said there the machines can be hacked this is not up for debate that our adversaries have components in these machines this is not up for debate okay then we cannot use these machines period it does not matter if there's evidence that's been done or not the fact that it
Starting point is 01:35:09 exist. The fact that you can do it is enough that you cannot use them, period. Not you cannot use them with a foreign adversaries components. Let's put the American components in there because that's all the sudden better that somehow now American people, because all Americans, we all agree, we don't have any partisanship in this country. We all want what's genuinely best for the country. So it's okay that we put our components in there and then nobody will manipulate our elections. That's absurd. He gets into the voting rolls at the end. Voting rolls must be scrubbed. Yes. Yes. It's going to suck, but voting rolls need to be scrubbed down to nothing. They need to go analog. You can have digital as well, but we need analog. And we all have to re-register to vote, photo ID, proof of citizenship,
Starting point is 01:35:55 whatever they decide. But I think those two things are necessary components. Good. I'll let you jump in. I would just say in terms of the wording here, I think it's important. Scrubbed, I don't know that scrubbed means they're going to get rid of everything. You know, scrubbed could just mean they're cleaning up the problems in these voter rolls. And I don't trust that at all. I would say purged, fully purged is what needs to happen. They need to be eliminated to zero. And I know that we obviously agree on that. I just don't know that that's what Mark Wayne Mullen is suggested. Now, the only thing that I will say is, is this a de-escalation tactic? Right? Like you're here where we're all using the machines and now you're like it's unquestionable that this can happen
Starting point is 01:36:42 but here's how we fix it if you go from you know for the normie brain out there if you go from the machines are compromised to handmark paper ballots counted at the precinct level at live streamed for everybody to watch that might be too big of a jump are we going through steps i don't know i don't think it's too i don't think it's i think most americans if you pose that question to them, hey, these machines are utterly compromised. We're going to take out the compromised foreign adversary chips and put in compromised American chips and everything's going to be fine. They're going to be like, no, no.
Starting point is 01:37:18 So, yeah, I don't know. I worry about, I worry about that same dynamic because, you know, now we get informed about this problem. Do we get the, do we get full information about the totality of the problem? No, we got information about part of that problem. And so we're going to be told, well, these are the ways that we fix this partial problem under the pretense that that's the full problem. And then we're going to be told we can't actually get all those fixes put in place
Starting point is 01:37:47 by the time the election is, by the time of the election arrives. So what we can do is this partial fix to that partial problem, but we can treat it as a total fix to the total problem, or at least good enough so that we can feel good about. our elections again and that is like legitimately the worst of all outcomes because it reduces anybody's drive and motivation to fix the problem and it is like a salve that tells us well you know the wound has now been healed and it hasn't been healed i think that that is that that's my primary concern and it has been for many years jd vance was like essentially out there on uh wednesday he did
Starting point is 01:38:33 Rogan, he met with Congress, and he had a number of comments about elections and about the safe acts and the rest of it. And he was tweeting about these things as well and saying, well, you know what, guys, let's just get the best version of the save act that we can get. We know we're not going to get the full save act, but let's get something so that we can tell Americans our elections are fixed. All of that is a disaster. None of that is good. If that is what we get, then we should see the problem as having grown, not strong. I agree. And the way he phrased is he said, give us this and then we'll stop saying that elections are fake. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:09 He said to Rogan, give us, hey, I'll make a deal with the Democrats. Give us voter ID and we'll stop. Yes. Oh, that is one of the worst things I've ever seen. And he qualified it. I am the vice president of the United States. Give us this deal and we will stop saying elections are stolen. And it's like, you're the vice president, not the president.
Starting point is 01:39:29 And I am an American citizen. You work for me. And I say, F you. I do not speak in. He's not speaking for anyone there. And I actually put myself through watching and listening to that entire interview yesterday. J.D. Vance went on Joe Rogan to sell his book and did not do a particularly interesting job of doing it.
Starting point is 01:39:51 J.D. Vance is just not a very interesting man ultimately. But yeah, what a disaster for his election comments were on Wednesday. And I'm not suggesting that J.D. Vance speaks for Donald. Trump, but I would say, and I would bet a lot on, J.D. Vance speaks for this faction of Republican leading, leaning, uniparty right people who are taking this particular route when it comes to our elections. And I would suggest that that is the enemy inside the tent. That is what we should be focused on, rather than thinking these people are our allies proposing somewhat inadequate solutions to these problems that they're unwilling to engage in full. This is actually
Starting point is 01:40:40 the enemy at work putting people back to sleep. Yeah, I want to just a quick reset for those that haven't done so please smash that thumbs up. Helps us out tremendously. If you're lurking in the chat, jump in and say hello. We're going to take a quick break and talk about some soft disclosure and then come back here with some closing thoughts on all of this. And yeah, let's hit this real quick. We can't stop your sense. We have to deliver all of these Soft Disclosure gift card. He goes by Zach Hayle. The emotion detective.
Starting point is 01:41:28 Love the beerbrush. All right. Softdisclosure.com promo code muffin. Hit it. Get you 15% off. All the fantastic organic products over there at Soft Disclosure. And you're supporting us directly because that is a Badlands Media company. And supporting American farmers throughout the country. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:46 We need to get Ash on a moisturize your soul t-shirt. I think we should have moisturize your soul merch. Yeah. All right. We need rug burn lotions as well for all the rugs. That's a great one. Yeah, that's a great one. We gotta get that.
Starting point is 01:43:06 Yeah, we were talking about that. Is this the first time he said? Oh, okay. Last night we were talking about that. Ash was in whatever. And I was like, we need to brand a rug burn product for soft disclosure. So for all the rugs. Look, man, I know, and this will kind of lead to our closing thoughts here.
Starting point is 01:43:24 A lot of people here in Badlands, right? Like our colleagues as well as our audience are saying that was a rug last night. I don't take it that way. I think that that was a disclosure that we have all seen, right? A lot of information. I told you guys before the speech went that we're not going to learn anything new. maybe a couple little things here and there. But we, if you've been watching why we vote,
Starting point is 01:43:52 and that's why it's difficult for me to watch all these other, you know, I was watching some shows this morning. I watched like three different other shows on two X speed just to hear, you know, what their takeaway was from it. And they're like, holy crap,
Starting point is 01:44:03 this is like that, and I'm like, dude, this has been around for like two years now. Like a lot. But it's new to your CNN viewer. It's new to your Fox News viewer. It's new to your CBS,
Starting point is 01:44:16 ABC, NBC, people that are not in the podcast sphere, especially in our little corner of the podcast sphere. And they need to see that. Now, the fact that it was taken away from them, the fact that they had to be gate kept from this, hopefully that's something that a lot of people wake up and they're like, hey, if you want to see what this was really about, because we'll still talk about it. It's still stuff we have to address. It's not new to us, but it's still stuff we have to talk about. maybe people will start waking up and turning away from those outlets.
Starting point is 01:44:48 So I'm very bullish on the speech and I think we're going to see a lot more from it. I obviously hope you're right. I think that we should really take note of how the media is able to define the importance of stories as they come out. We have to be able to surpass this effect somehow because, you know, as I showed with the CNN front page, mainstream media is going to diminish this. And they're going to bring up a bunch of other attention grabbing stories over the course of the rest of the day and this weekend. And they're going to try to make this story fade quickly into the background.
Starting point is 01:45:27 And what normal people are going to perceive casual viewers of politics or people who don't pay much attention at all, they'll hear that Trump made this speech. They will witness that the reaction sphere is making very little of this. and then moving on, and they will say, well, I guess that wasn't a big deal. Yeah, you know, I think a lot of times when we do a lot of these shows, you know, we get a tendency to talk to each other and rather than talking outward to, you know, not just our audience, I think our audience, we have one of the most based and independent thinking audiences out there.
Starting point is 01:46:09 And that's why I think that is so great because we have so many differing opinions, right? we have friction and highly frictional right we've kind of coined that term and that's a good thing that is a good thing that's always like when when me and ash or me and alpha or me and well those are really the only two i fight with because i'm also the closest of those two but but buts-buttheads or we have differing idea that's what that's what is great about badlands and you know i think when we hear that speech last night we're kind of like talking to each other and for us this is all like it's a rug for us, but we're not talking to each other here. And, you know, I had to try and like keep that front of mind to steal a term from
Starting point is 01:46:49 Jen Stocky or no, KJP, Kringe, Kringe, Sean Pierre. I haven't said her name in a long time. Front of mind. Yeah. I think that was her. Circle back stocky, front of mind, KGP, JP. I think that that was, I think they probably took that from the West Wing scripts that they used to recite during Joe Biden's.
Starting point is 01:47:10 a legitimate term as fake president. All right, Chris, what do you got coming up, brother? I'll be on with John tomorrow night. And I think that's all I have to currently announce. All right. And guys, if you want, tomorrow morning, 10 a.m. I will be doing a week in review on my own channel, rumble.com slash cancon.
Starting point is 01:47:30 If you want to go, give me a follow over there. I will be talking about this speech a lot more. Might even play it. That shows usually about two or three hours. So might even play it again. and just the main part of it. So check that out. And stay tuned.
Starting point is 01:47:46 You've got Daily Herald coming up at one and then just all sorts of programming here on, on badlands. We've got Spellbreakers. Actually, Christie and I will be doing date night on my channel as well. From there, we'll raid you guys over to Spell Breakers because it's an open block where there's no bad lands. So you can check that out. I'll rage you over to Spell Breakers.
Starting point is 01:48:05 And then only lands. And then, of course, Saturday night, you'll have DPH. And I'll be, into that to hear what you guys have to say. Yeah, John's getting, John's getting into all of the documents. This is like Christmas morning for him. So as soon as I'm done with what I got to do this afternoon, that's, that's what I'll be doing. So I'm going to work on, I'm going to reach out to Ash.
Starting point is 01:48:25 I'm going to get a, I'm going to get Claude, Fable 5, which I just found out is, is Claude. I'm going to get at working on it. And then I'm also going to be reading through them myself. So all right, guys. Thank you all so much for tuning in. Smash that thumbs up. We'll see you guys later. Thank you.
