Badlands Media - Devolution Power Hour Ep. 501: The New Press Secretary, the Omar Raid & Trump’s Diesel Deal

Episode Date: October 15, 2026

Jon Herold and Burning Bright open with a very Russia-heavy week, from Trump's and the Kremlin's tiger posting to Burning Bright's own summer training around Siberian tigers. Then it's on to the new ...White House press secretary's rough first briefing and the bar exam question. The hosts argue it's fine to be critical without stretching the plan to explain every story, and play Trump's March comments on Kimberly Guilfoyle to make the point. Next up is the raid on Ilhan Omar's home and the Justice Department investigation: the allegations about her records, why a cover-up could matter more than the original charge, and the tie back to the Minnesota fraud stories. They also get into Trump's fight with the White House press pool, the midterm predictions, and Trump governing in spite of Congress and the courts. The back half turns to Russia and Ukraine, with Trump's diesel deal with Putin as more signal than supply, the push for a Zelensky election, oil prices, and Elon Musk on Ukraine's Starshield service. They close with recent right-wing wins in Latin America and Boris Johnson and Brexit as a warning that a red win isn't always an anti-establishment win.

Starting point is 00:00:00 The Badlands, one of the Badlands, explain those Badlands. That's a hell of their name. Well, good evening, everybody, and welcome to the Wednesday edition of the Devolution Power Hour. As always, and unfortunately, I am joined by Bernie Bright. Burning Bright, how you doing, man? Good, man. It's a very Russia-e week. There's some tiger posting going on.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Nice. Trump's tiger posting. Kareel Dmitriev's. Tiger posting, which I feel like, you know, it's almost like Putin tiger posting, not quite. So, if we get G tiger posting, that's when we'll know. What will we know? I don't know, but does Putin even have social media? I don't think he does. No, that's why we're not going to get direct Putin tiger posts, but we'll get, we're getting Kremlin tiger posting. Gotcha. So far is enough for me. There was a guy who got
Starting point is 00:00:59 killed, we're told, by a tiger this week. So it makes sense. I don't know, man. That video. I mean, I learned at a very young age not to jump into the zoo exhibit with the animals. And somebody didn't teach that guy.
Starting point is 00:01:14 I mean, as somebody who has literally been inside of cage with actual Siberian tigers, which was the subspecies of that tiger, I would not have done so. probably I would just never do so ever again I probably also wouldn't have
Starting point is 00:01:35 at the time if I was not as stupid as I was but it was not a zoo tiger it was a tiger that had been raised by people that I was dealing with even still interesting like it was just at a house tigers right was just at a house
Starting point is 00:01:52 no I trained with them for a summer Oh, that's right. You've seen those. I think you've seen it. I think I've shown them on a couple shows. Yeah, I don't have them right handy, but I've shown them before. I'll post them in the gar chat later.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Yeah. That sounds good. Or the key chat. You can do the key chat too. We'll get to Keith here in a little bit. But yeah, so on top of the Russia stuff, we got the Ilan Omar story. And I think it's a fun one just because my normie friends, we're talking on that. We don't talk politics much.
Starting point is 00:02:24 But one of my normie friends actually brought up the Ilan Omar. situation and the raid and so that's like my gauge on the normie mind and the vibes that they're feeling and so i think that's a great sign so we'll get into that um there's another oh mid midterm stuff going on lots of interesting narratives spinning around i mean what we have like 20 days left until those pesky midterms so we'll probably talk about that a little bit more that we don't have a country anymore or well less guys yeah we still got to talk i mean we've talked of this quite a bit. I still think the best timeline will be the midterm victory for the red team, but then those people immediately go and betray everybody who voted for them by impeaching Trump.
Starting point is 00:03:09 There's a lot of impeachment narratives floating around the last couple days. There are a lot of them. I saw a few days ago, democratic strategists telling their own people, don't bother with it this time, guys. We've tried that a few times. And really, it tends to backfire. So I saw a few, a few strategists saying that in the commentariat. But yeah, it would be very fascinating to see what might become of a, if we do get a red wave that the pollsters are doubting, then what do they do with that red wave? Yeah. And then how does the truth community respond to that? We also have a new press secretary who sucks. That her job is terrible. I will say that even though I just use them for propaganda purposes and reverse indicators,
Starting point is 00:04:02 The Atlantic kind of won the headline war on that one. What's her name? Katie Zakaria. Yeah. She lied about being a lawyer. Yes. Not good. Well, as far as I understand, she lied about that, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:04:20 She could be a secret lawyer. Well, there's no record of her ever passing the bar. We'll get into it. She kind of implied she was a Chinese lawyer. The headline out of the Atlantic was, hi, I'm your new press secretary, and it's my first time reading words out loud. Is that what it said?
Starting point is 00:04:37 That's the headline of the Atlantic, yeah. That's so good. Which the Atlantic usually, like, takes itself rather seriously as a leftist propaganda outlet. But, yeah, this was... I mean, that's hilarious. Why is it outletting me? Oh, because I'm a lot of...
Starting point is 00:04:54 Oh, good, right. That's so funny. It was a very uncomfortable 14 minutes. I don't know if you watched the whole thing I did. I didn't. Man, I get such secondhand embarrassment. I saw some clips and I couldn't.
Starting point is 00:05:08 I had to back out of there. Yeah, it was, it was bad. I mean, it was like 12 minutes of her reading poorly. And again, I was trying to like on my show when I talked about this.
Starting point is 00:05:19 We watched some of the clips. That's like, I want to give her benefit of the doubt. I mean, I'm trying to put myself in her shoes. I would be probably nervous too. I probably would be stumbling, fumbling, bumbling around.
Starting point is 00:05:29 And so maybe it's just first time jitters. But recent history, like every other press secretary we've had, has never come off that way. Like even the liberal ones, even the gay ones. Like they were just fine. They were just like out there as normal. They were retarded. But they could at least read. And then she took a few questions, mixed up some of her words there, like off the cuff
Starting point is 00:05:54 questions, you know? And then, yeah, outside. when she was asked and that was my favorite video the whole thing well I'll find it later when we get to it the reporter asked her like so you're you're a lawyer where did you pass the bar exam and then Trump's like what state what state did you pass the bar exam and looks at her and she's like when I went to China and he like double takes her like what did you just say and she's like when I moved to China like you could maybe say that she misunderstood the question but was not not
Starting point is 00:06:26 our best answer get to all that bb yeah yeah i think we have plenty of talk about we have quite a few sponsors though tonight for tonight's show that we uh got to get to so we're gonna start with a little soft disclosure and then we're gonna do cacao bliss and bear bars then we're gonna get to keat and rumble wallet a little bit later so we know um when we get a lot of sponsors sometimes it's annoying for the audience but we love our supporters and we are going to read those ads and you guys are you're going to like it and then you're going to support our sponsors so you can support us too. Starting point is 00:08:21 seemed like Katie was sabotaged by a slow-moving teleprompter and nerves. She read off a piece of paper, not a teleprompter. And that's the nerves I could maybe give you. But as far as I know, it hasn't gotten better. but it was not teleprompter. Softisclosure.com, guys, get your products, and then use the promo code, house tallow or house beard oil,

There's a Caribbean island where a stunning percentage of people live to 100 years old. Researchers spend years trying to figure out why. The answer surprised to everybody. And today's sponsor figured out how to blend that secret into a delicious daily ritual.
Starting point is 00:09:20 A native tribe in Panama called the Kuna people drink five cups of a type of chocolate every day. Harvard researchers discovered their rates of cardiovascular problems are nine times lower than Americans. Cancer rates are 15 times lower. It's almost 17 times. And their energy, weight, and mental clarity are remarkably well preserved into old age. The reason comes down to something called flavanols, natural compounds found in rock cacao that modern chocolate processing completely destroys. In fact, research shows that drinking high flavanaul cacao can increase stem cell counts. We have to 220%.
Starting point is 00:09:52 It was actually 217%, but rounded up to 220. And improved blood vessel function by up to 47%, which is 30% plus 70%. 17%, but you have to get the raw natural ceremonial grade stuff like what you get in Kikau Bliss. I've been working on my QMath lately and it turns out like you can get a 17 out of anything and it's so speaking of I'll give an early preview of a story hour tomorrow night. I selected the Adjustment Bureau, 2011 movie starring Matt Damon and
Starting point is 00:10:31 And Emily Blunt, it's all about, you know, that I vaguely remember seeing it at the time. But, you know, it's like the Matrix guys who got to keep him on plan. And Matt Damon plays a New York senatorial hopeful. But what's incredible about the movie, I was texting with Chris about it. I was like, oh, my God, there are copious. It's all about these guys wearing black hats like, Literally, the adjustment bureau all wear these black hats. They can go in and out of doors and traverse different layers of reality.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Their mission is to keep the plan on track. So they talk about the plan, the entire movie. None of them know what the plan is because they're not read in on it, but they need to keep it going and they know when somebody is off plan. And they use the number 17 throughout the movie. Really? Yeah. Pier 17, floor 17, boardroom 17. It is the most random number.
Starting point is 00:11:39 And like, it's just crazy. With the man on the street was ask people for a random number to see how many people just said 17. So that last ad read, Shiree was saying it was a little rough, but still better than the press secretary. This next one, this next sponsor we're going to get to, haven't read this ad yet. We've had them as a sponsor before, but going in cold turkey. So this will be the real judge of whether or not I could be the press secretary. And that's because the sponsor is Bear Bars. That's B-A-R-E.
Starting point is 00:12:13 I think I found the Ferrari of protein bars, guys. I know that sounds ridiculous, but hear me out. Think about what makes a great sports car. It's about having the right components, precision engineering, and incredible performance with no compromises. And that's exactly what Bear Bar has done. Just four real food ingredients, 20 grams of protein. and unbelievable taste.
Starting point is 00:12:32 They didn't cut corners. They just cut out the junk. Beef protein, tallow, honey, and salt. That's it for ingredients and somehow it tastes this good. Here's what else makes the bare bar different. 20 grams of grass fed beef protein and no, it doesn't taste like beef. Light fluffy texture, nothing heavier chalky, no artificial sweeteners and the taste, you'd never guess it was this simple.
Starting point is 00:12:53 That's bare bar. All the good stuff, not of the junk and not a single compromise on taste. You're ready to try one. You get a 15% discount. on your order and free shipping. Just use the code DPH at getbearbars.com. That's get bearbars.com. G-E-B-A-R-E-B-A-R-S dot com. I accidentally press record while you were doing that. Or what?
Starting point is 00:13:22 Like on this stream. How? I don't know. I tried to reload a page, but I was on this tab. So I pressed like Command R. and it said recording and then I said stop that by pressing the button again and it stopped so I don't know anything happened well I don't think anything it looks like we're still alive
Starting point is 00:13:42 I recorded a tiny bit of the ad read went swimmingly by the way so I mean I can probably be the press secretary now just stop touching things yeah yeah for real stop doing that not good about that
Starting point is 00:13:55 all right you guys support our sponsors is a great way to support us as well and we have two more we'll get to later in the show. But I kind of want to start with the press secretary now that we're on the topic. And again, I don't want to. We talk about this Monday. It shouldn't be a big deal, guys. Like for the five of you that are a little upset, relax.
Starting point is 00:14:14 We're not saying the plan is ruined, but it's a little silly. Well, I think this is a learning moment for everybody because, guys, it's okay to be critical of people. It really is. I think that's like the point half the time is be more. critical of us guys like that's what Trump wants if Trump's not here in four years or eight years or six years what however long it is like at some point giving the government back to we the people means we the people need to take that and shape it into the form that we want and you don't do that by cheerleading everything so we're going to be critical of people because hey it is what it is
Starting point is 00:14:50 so so i don't even care about this just to be clear like it didn't upset me or embarrass me that she flubbed around and had a bad intro press conference because I don't really care about the press secretary. Now, like, I don't have any ill will toward her. She might be a great person. She might be very earnestly MAGA. Her social media history seems to suggest that that is the case. She's super into devolution. I mean, that's as good as it gets. I did see that. So that's good. That's a feather in her cap. It does seem like she has been like on the Maga Train, even when it's been cool to not be on the Maga Train,
Starting point is 00:15:34 that's all really good. It's just, it's okay. But I guess the point I would make is, not that you need to impress the Normies, but one of the things I've noticed a lot this year is, when you are doing the thing that is the low-hanging fruit for critics of you to do,
Starting point is 00:15:53 just don't do that. You just, you don't have to criticize Zakaria, but you don't, don't have to defender as if the Q plan depends on that press conference. Yeah. And that's literally what a bunch of people are doing of like people online. Like, oh, you know, Q comes and there's this and there's that and it's part of the plan and it's part of this and it's part of that.
Starting point is 00:16:14 And as you and I have said, like, you better stick to that because Caroline Levitt and on and on down the line of all these of the- Christina. Was it Maconaney, Mac, Mac, whatever the hell her name was? She didn't didn't trump shit all over her like recently? Yeah, she called her milk toast. Yeah, so again, it's like this is the same old shit where everybody it's part of the plan because right now it's part of the plan except if that's part of the plan the plan the plan's stupid. It's probably not part of the plan and Trump said some nice things about somebody. So right now that person gets a gold star and is a secret white hat except in six months when he shits all over on true social. It's going to be like, oh, I knew. you know, Trump, I knew there was something about that person. And we literally saw this a couple days ago with the actual quote unquote scandal, which was Kimberly Gilfoyle, who by the way, I don't care about that either. It's just that I bet if I looked into the social media history
Starting point is 00:17:16 of all the people saying that Katie Zakaria is part of the secret plan right now, they all probably said Kimberly Gilfoyle was part of the secret plan as well until the Trump administration asked her to resign and disgrace, right? So the lesson I would take away from this as a Trump person and if you're a Q person is when you stretch the definitions of the plan you don't know to include literally everything you are looking at at all times, it sort of devalues the rest of what you say
Starting point is 00:17:51 and it might devalue your argument in favor of Donald Trump. unless Kim Gilfoyle is part of the secret plan, in which case, all good. Yeah, that's a great point. And I actually want to play this clip for you guys because this is of Kimberly Gilthole at a press conference just back in March. This is Trump's comments about Kimberly Gilfoyle back in March. I think it starts about here, I want to say, 348 or so. We're close.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Evangelist, Sava. I like that name. And someone we know very well, the U.S. ambassador to the Hellenic Republic. Presid, I know very, very well. She's an inspiration to a lot of people, especially if you happen to be Greek. Kimberly. Kimberly Gilfiel.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Kimberly. Now, Kimberly, Gilfoyle has been my friend for a long time. I love going to Kimberly. Kimberly. That's my little pet name, right? But you understand. And I heard they love you over there. I hope you come back here in 12 years or whatever the termans.
Starting point is 00:19:07 But come on up here, Kim. Stay alongside of us. The death in America. That was back in March. Nothing but glowing praise. And then this was like three days ago. She wasn't a member of my family. Oops.
Starting point is 00:19:26 I guess dated my son a long time ago, but she wasn't. No. She went to greet. She was doing a good job, but we didn't like what we were reading. Then asked her to resign. So. Yeah. And I was just going to say that like, hey, we don't, I don't know all the details of this stuff.
Starting point is 00:19:49 And in fairness, Trump even right there says we didn't like what we were reading. You know, you can twist yourself into knots and say, hey, listen, are all the allegations against Kimberly Guilfoil that the mainstream media is reporting on this week true? We don't know. Who knows? And it's entirely possible that they're not true. It's entirely possible that she's exonerated by this stuff. But the bottom line is there is no need to assign the trust that you place in Donald Trump to anybody around him. And it's been proven time and time again to be a bad move overall.
Starting point is 00:20:23 And we keep doing it. And this is like essentially what I said on my show. It's the emotional attachment that people keep putting to not just Trump, but they're like they're letting that permeate into anybody. that comes close to the administration and it's just a losing strategy and that's part of the one of the goals that like we try to to push here is like we don't need to cheer lead everybody you don't need to hate on everybody either just try to stay neutral and emotionally detached from every one of these characters because at the end of the day that's what's going to protect you in an information war and so yeah i see already see we have a rant came in from this woke antichrist says katy zacharii was definitely
Starting point is 00:20:56 a little flustered but you should show her some grace considering she follows your work don't be a dick jonathan And you spell my name wrong, by the way. But I'm just going to say what I feel about whatever I'm talking about in the moment. We're just going to keep saying stuff we want to say. If it's critical that so be it. Like, I don't care when people are critical of me too. She applied for the job of press secretary. She appears to have lied about being a lawyer to do it.
Starting point is 00:21:20 And she didn't do a very good job. And this is one of the things. Like, I don't think the press secretary position should exist in the first place. There's no need for it because Trump can just communicate with the, the American people directly whenever he wants. But if you're going to have somebody there, you got to understand the role that that person is playing. That person is pretty much there just to strictly combat
Starting point is 00:21:41 propaganda from the fake news media. Like that is their job. The fake news media is going to ask leading questions and push the propaganda. You need to be able to not only understand everything Trump is doing and wants said, but combat those narratives and do so successfully. You have to make the other people look like idiots. You have to handle and use them.
Starting point is 00:22:01 If you're not able to do that, that is a net negative for Trump in an already in a position that does need to be there in the first base. Like there's not many positives in my opinion that come from those press conferences. It's mostly risk. It's mostly risk for the Trump administration to even allow those things to take place. And I guarantee you there's no normie that is sitting there watching traditional press conferences with Karen Levit or any of these people like on a daily basis. Like, oh, like what's the administration up to?
Starting point is 00:22:27 They normally don't care. But what will get them to tune in is when the. press secretary sucks and is making gaffes and can't read off a prepared statement that she probably typed up and practiced and rehearsed numerous times so like yeah i'm i'm willing to give grace i've already said i understand she's probably a little nervous we'll see how it goes the next time but that doesn't change what happened and that the media is already attacking her and trump for it and she's a target and then one more thing i want to throw out there into the ether and i said this on my show as well um something just i'm i'm not like saying this is the
Starting point is 00:23:01 case, but this is total speculation. So grain of salt off the rip. Her history, like her search history, her posting history, Twitter, Facebook, whatever, true social, all that stuff. Like, there's a huge deal about her conspiracy theory involvement or whatever prior to her first press conference. Like all the major outlets were running with this like, look at all these previous posts from this press secretary. And it's all QAnon stuff. It's devolution stuff. It's the elite pedophiles, eating kids and babies, stuff. Like, it's all the conspiracy theories that we talk about. It's all the stuff that they have used to paint Q people and, you know,
Starting point is 00:23:41 Badlands Media, whatever, truthers in a negative light this entire time. Like the same consistent narrative. She's in a sense, like the poster child of those narratives. And all the people from those communities were celebrating that fact. And they were all attacking her for it. And then she comes out. And if you wanted to make. the Q people look retarded like the people who believe that stuff look retarded which they're not
Starting point is 00:24:07 guys there are very there are some very intelligent people that believe these things some of the some of the smartest people i know also some of the worst people but you get bad eggs and every you know does whatever if you want to make the Q people look retarded you make very prominent somebody's previous Q posting or whatever and then you put them on center stage shine a big spotlight on them and have them act retarded then like oh my gosh and have the have some, like you said, not all, but have the low-hanging fruit queue people decode what she's saying. And then defend everything she's, yeah, just the theory, guys. But it, yeah, it's, it's, it's like the classic case of just you're diluting your own product, you know, like if the product is
Starting point is 00:24:49 the plan and we all believe to varying degrees, even if we disagree on what that plan may be or how it functions and how much control over it there is, all of us believe Donald Trump is part of a much larger plan. It's just when you extend that plan, you know, to me, it would be good news and encouraging if the press secretary never enters into Donald Trump's mind, right? Like, I think that is more likely to be the case than not. And I think that that's probably a good thing, because I don't think that the plan, such that it is, depends on who that. the press secretary is. So when you try to retrofit everything into being contingent on the plan, or rather the plan being contingent on even something like the press secretary, just like it was
Starting point is 00:25:43 about the last five press secretaries, then you start to dilute whatever reading of the plan there is. But the bottom line is it's because it's a content factory. And if you've only got one thing that you talk about, everything, every part of every day's news has to be a part of it. It has to plug into that template or else you don't have anything to talk about. So, you know, if it's up to me, I don't care about this. I think it's a funny aside. It doesn't bother me. But yeah, it also doesn't make me think about the plan. No, not at all. And guys, I just, I want somebody in that position who can successfully combat the mainstream media. And right now I have zero confidence. That's Katie. I hope I'm wrong. I hope it's her. I hope she has a great job. But Trump, fighting a narrative
Starting point is 00:26:26 of warfare needs somebody in that position who will fight, fight against the mainstream media in combat the propaganda they're trying to push. So let's, uh, let's just see, I guess. Yeah, Chris Paul. No, he would, he would never do that. But I do want to play, this is the clip that I think was being shared around the most. Then after this, we can move on to some other stuff. To build eight, to build eight large scale nuclear power plants, something we've needed as
Starting point is 00:26:54 the United States and something President Trump promised. on the campaign trail and something President Trump is delivering on, just like he delivers on every promise. In addition to that, we will be, we will be, he has, there is $54 billion tied to the Alaska LNG pipeline and terminal to service the Pacific Rim and sell fuel to our allies, as well as $22.3 billion for a six gigawatt natural gas power facility in Texas. to bill eight to yeah it's pretty rough guys reading a script but again we'll see what happens
Starting point is 00:27:34 plenty of uh plenty of opportunity i'm sure i doubt she has a short leash especially right before the midterms it's one of the last thing trump needs um but speaking of speaking of this like this story was making the rounds this week and i i think definitely deserves some attention the average woman is delusional and um i think if there's anything to decode it's this BD. I mean, I assume there's not an article that has to explain anything about this, right? I mean, there is, but I don't need to read it to understand what they're saying here. I doubt any man in the chat does either.
Starting point is 00:28:11 There's one more. There's one more here. New gay sexually transmitted diarrhea diseases turning into a deadly superbuck. I mean, speaks for itself there, too. Yeah, I can't even imagine what this would be about. I mean, the imagery. And this isn't The Onion, huh? This isn't Babylon B or The Onion.
Starting point is 00:28:32 This is Revolver News, which shows probably no better. I believe this is one of Hunter Biden's actual original paintings here that they use for this as well. I saw, speaking of Hunter randomly, I follow a podcast on YouTube. Most of what I watch is like financial analysis and Bitcoin stuff and things like that. And there's a podcast, Anthony Pompliano, who's, you know, investor dude. and he has, you know, various people on the podcast. He had Hunter on last week. And I'd say his typical podcast does maybe like 50,000 views on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:29:10 Some of his more popular guests do 200,000, something like that, you know, good amount of people. The Hunter Biden one was at like 10,000. It was just like days later. And I follow this YouTube channel. I didn't watch it. I wanted nothing to do with it. But he was interviewing Hunter about like his crypto venture. all that but you just you know popular podcaster popular channel you'd think he probably thought i
Starting point is 00:29:33 got a hunter bine interview this is going to be this is going to have a lot of drama farming and just nobody watched it nobody cared that's interesting literally on my show today i was like you know what hunter biden there for like a month was the only thing anybody could talk about he was on every major podcast he was posting all the time he's doing videos and then he launched like that meme coin and he's kind of falling off the face of the earth i have of the earth i have not seen him yeah anywhere since that video came out or since that mean point yeah what's it out let me see here i don't care watch no we're not going to want but just as an example i'm looking at the last like five episodes this guy's done 55k 143 108 114 hunter before that
Starting point is 00:30:16 16 000 before that 236 77 50 so it's like that and that's not a like a truth or audience that would be like I don't want to watch anything to do with Hunter. It's a political and financial audience that watches his shows and Hunter drew a fifth to a tenth of the the normal audience. So yeah, I don't think anybody gives a shit. No, I don't think anybody give a shit either. All right. Let's let's get into some actual serious topics. Let's maybe talk about the Alon Omar situation because that's the one that my normie friends are actually like interested in. And normally we just talk random support stuff for the most part. I never broach politics with them unless I'm trying to pull them on something.
Starting point is 00:31:06 Like, hey, guys, are you going to vote in the midterms? Or hey, guys, are you going to do this? Just randomly, I'll do that. But I normally wait for them to bring up topics before I nerd out on them. And they brought up the Ilan Omar thing. And they were like super excited about this investigation actually taking place. Justice Department issued subpoenas in Alon Amar investigation. They raided her house.
Starting point is 00:31:25 was it like Monday morning I think it was it could have been I'm pretty sure it was Monday morning yeah I think it was Monday morning yeah yeah so they raided her house and in order to even get the raid they had to get a magistrate judge
Starting point is 00:31:37 to sign off on it those magistrate judges in the District of Columbia are appointed by the district judges the Democrats hold a 11 to 4 majority in the District of Columbia so the bias of it
Starting point is 00:31:53 I'm pretty sure the person that they that ended up signing the warrant was a Clinton appointee if I'm not mistaken, the Democrats, so that takes away a talking point, which is a good one. But yeah, she's in trouble. It appears she has fabricated her age to become a citizen in the United States.
Starting point is 00:32:10 And then when she got into office, she had assistance, this is the rumor, in getting the actual date on her official records changed. And that's probably a big no-no, I would imagine. But you don't get a warrant signed for something like that to raid a sitting congresswoman without a there there. And so I expect her to be in big do-do by the time this is all said and done. Yeah, I was going to say I hadn't heard any of your commentary on it.
Starting point is 00:32:40 But I think I'm on this rug. You know, I don't know where this rug leads. But I'll jump on it because of exactly how you finished there. First of all, two things. it does seem like besides the immigration fraud of it all, which is not good. I actually think the bigger point is the second sort of investigation or the secondary component to it, which is what you just said, the allegation that she had her records retroactively altered. You know, again, immigration fraud is immigration fraud.
Starting point is 00:33:16 I want everybody to be punished to the full extent of the law, right? But if as a sitting congresswoman, you then, what do they say? It's the cover up that gets you, right? So if they are able to, I really do think about these things from when you bring up the normies that are talking about this from a translation later perspective. When I'm trying to bait a test out, should I get on this rug? Should I not get on this rug? If I'm on the rug, how would the narrative be translated to people rather than just saying
Starting point is 00:33:45 here's what the facts are? This one is kind of a slam dunk because I know it sounds like it would be a slam dunk narratively just based on the immigration fraud. But as we know in this country, like the country is split to be generous, there are a certain number of people that wouldn't give a shit about the immigration fraud thing, right? Lefties don't care about it, that kind of thing. I'm still, I still believe it should be prosecuted. I just mean if you're looking for like a scandal that would actually damage. the standing of people in that orbit. I don't think it's just the immigration fraud.
Starting point is 00:34:22 I think it's the fact that they're going back in and retroactively changing documentation, trying to cover these things up in hindsight. It just makes it look like they're more of a, this isn't a, oh, she was 17 and her dad filled out some paperwork wrong, which is how they'll spin it, the initial immigration fraud. This is like, well, she seemed concerned enough about it
Starting point is 00:34:45 to commit a bunch of more. crimes to try to cover it up after the fact, which seems to fit a pattern of behavior of this person not being not only a lawful American citizen, but a bad person who knows how to commit crimes real good. So, you know, I think that I think that it's an easy narrative to lay out there on like a one, two, three sort of standard for people, for, for normies, I mean. And there's a really easy solution to it, which would also be incredibly memetic about stripping her of citizenship. Yeah, and kicking her out of Congress. I do wonder, because like the normies, like they'll be more interested in this, especially the ones who lean right. The independence would probably
Starting point is 00:35:31 care. I don't think there's anything that the Democrats could do or that they could do that the Democrats would be like, oh yeah, I don't think this person should be there anymore. Like they are so dead set and they have defended her so long. And you see this behavior from the truth community, when you've like invested yourself and created your identity around for these people its identity politics you you have to defend it no matter what like you are stuck defending it until the day you die and so that's what take longer exactly that's so that's what these people will end up doing it will be interesting to see the mainstream media spin it if they can but i love the conversation of like if she was not put into office legitimately because she committed immigration fraud
Starting point is 00:36:14 then what happens? She should be removed, right? Yeah. Okay, next step question is, okay, well, what bills did she participate in? And specifically, were there any bills that she voted affirmative or against where there was a one-vote margin and her side of the vote was the, you know, took the day or whatever? What happens to those bills? And then to take it a step further, and this is where ultimately I think the conversation has to end up going is she's going to hopefully be, you know, kicked out of Congress and her stuff is removed or whatever,
Starting point is 00:36:48 fraud vitiates everything. The conversation we have to have is, okay, well, election fraud. How many of these people, including her, were put into office because of election fraud, that's the conversation that we should ultimately be having, not just her citizenship, which, yeah, she should be deported and all that shit, whatever. Was she even elected legitimately? And in Minnesota, I highly, highly, highly doubt it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:12 Oh, yeah. Well, we'll see if we ever get that. far yeah the the other reason that i'm kind of on this rug is that it's less i mean you you brought it the the election side of things that for me one of the weird encouraging signs of it is it feels like a capper on top of a narrative progression like a logical narrative progression where obviously i think it was winter 2025 you know heading into the turning of the year the biggest story for a few weeks in the U.S. was Minnesota, Minnesota, Minnesota, Minnesota. You know, there's plenty of grifters that are involved in all these stories. That's what politics is. But the Somali daycare fraud
Starting point is 00:37:56 scandal, just every headline for weeks was ICE, Minnesota, Somalians, illegal immigrants, daycare fraud, like, you know, NGOs, this and this, like a lot of what we were talking about in December, 2025 in January before the Maduro stuff totally swamped the news cycle was this so the fact that almost a year later we have the congresswoman not only literally of that area but who is also just ethnically and narratively the most tied to that season of scandal now facing actual legal charges that to me is encouraging in terms of that narrative progression. And it means if we do see accountability for this, like whether it's big or small or whatever,
Starting point is 00:38:50 then that's some encouragement in terms of other scandal narratives that we can see other big hot button issues in the country and start tying those. Are we going to start seeing those tied to the public officials who are most emblematic of such a, in such scandal because this was a big one. A lot of people kind of forget because, again, the Maduro stuff swamped it.
Starting point is 00:39:17 2026, the first half of the year was almost all about regime change and the Iran war and all that kind of stuff. But fall 2025, winter 2025, it was all fraud, illegal immigration, ice raids, NGOs. I think it's pretty good that that stuff's coming back into the cycle. you know, with actuals attached to it now. You think the fraud is coming back into the, uh, the second? What I meant by fraud is the, the, uh, financial fraud, like the Somali.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Oh yeah. You know, the financial future, basically. The feed our future, her sister, like, they, they say that her family got like 240 million dollars of funds fraudulently, which is nuts. It reminds me of this video, though, of her. Whenever I think of Alonamar, I think of this video. I think it's hilarious. The last time the Alien Enemies Act was invoked, it was used to detain and deport German,
Starting point is 00:40:17 Japanese, Italian immigrants doing World War 11. One of the most shameful chapters of American history. The last... Okay, that's one, and then there's one more, I just want to find it. Give her the job, press secretary. Too soon, Bibi, you can't say that you can't talk natively by the press. Do you have to be a citizen to be press secretary? That's a good question.
Starting point is 00:40:45 You don't have to get your law license from this country. So maybe you don't need your citizenship from it either. You must resign or face impeachment. Do you remember that? No, I've never seen that. You've never seen this syringe attack? The guy comes up and like somehow was able to get all the way up there and squirts her with a syringe of, I don't even know if we like vinegar or something
Starting point is 00:41:14 totally staged to make her a to make her a mart not a martyr but yeah victim women like plain victim man this is part of it because you know and we'll see too as this stuff we've got on these rugs before but again I'm gonna get on this rug you gotta get on like
Starting point is 00:41:32 occasional rugs just for the thrill I'm not on this rug by the way I'm on the rug because I want sometimes I want the rush of the rug getting pulled and when you've just been standing around the rugs for long enough it's like the kids who play
Starting point is 00:41:46 the floor is lava but they don't jump onto stuff and you're like why are you even playing like we got to get out of the living room into the kitchen do some wild shit to be daring
Starting point is 00:41:57 about the floor is lava and you got the one kid who just like sits on the perch of the couch or the cat tower or something see I don't think I've played with any kids like that
Starting point is 00:42:09 whenever I've played and me and my kids we haven't played this in a while, but we've played it before. And my kids are just, they're too reckless. Like if we were ever, if North Dakota was ever overcome with a super volcano and there was lava everywhere, I have little confidence in my kids navigating the lava on their own. They're just like run around. They're falling into the lava constantly.
Starting point is 00:42:30 Just not very good at it. But it's been a few years. You know, their athletic abilities increased. The point is you got to be able to recover. Like if you never take any rug falls, then that's when you really get hurt when you finally get on one. So you got to get on a couple rugs like getting back on the horse. And if there's some actuals that come out of this,
Starting point is 00:42:50 maybe they start following those leads down into the funding and the NGOs. That's what I'm looking for. I care less about the specific congresswoman and more about do they go after the larger organization. Yeah, see, the reason I'm not on this particular rug is I've, I'm just not emotionally attached to the outcome of the story one way or the other. Like I am the Russiagate one or even the election fraud one, I could begrudgingly admit that I am partially on both of those rugs. The Alon rug, I am not.
Starting point is 00:43:25 So I don't know, we'll see what happens. It would be fun to watch or get arrested, but if she doesn't, I'm going to be like, okay, we'll go figure. I want Tom Holman himself to drag her by the hijab. Is that what she wears? What's that thing? A Duhraig. I don't know what that thing is.
Starting point is 00:43:42 An Arabian Duhrag. Is that what the call? Is that what the car tribute? You think she's a... I assume. That's what that is? I think she's a fan of Tupac. I think that's why she's wearing that.
Starting point is 00:43:52 I don't know. I feel like there's a name for it. And I feel like we're probably being insensitive, but I don't care. But yeah, whatever. I agree. I mean, we should, uh, wait, do you remember the case? What was the guy's name? Abrego Garcia or something?
Starting point is 00:44:08 where they like Maryland dad deported to oh yeah yeah to Venezuela like a trafficker yeah yeah same thing here loving wife of her own brother deported yeah to to prison whatever I would be curious to see you know speaking of the normies this would be one of those stories that I'd love to bait a test on the in-laws yeah you should Canadian in-laws and just be like what do you think think? Send him a text right now. Right. I mean based on right now it would probably be like that's mean and this is well witch hunt or whatever but it'll just be interesting to see if they really commit to this day being the DOJ if they really commit to like and she did this and she did this and she did this and here's the charges because they're not like ideological retards.
Starting point is 00:45:02 So there's no reaching those people. They are people that get embarrassed after a certain amount of time of being wrong so it'd be interesting but do they ever admit that they were wrong i feel like those type of people who they they're so stuck on something and then when they finally realized they're wrong instead of like acknowledging it good example today i posted oh my gosh guys chris miller's like back in the mix total f up but immediately once i found out that i it was the wrong chris miller i was like i got it wrong guys it's this guy corrected the story i admitted it don't care i haven't haven't even checked my Twitter to see if anybody was mad at me, probably. But those types of people, and there's people like this in the truth community too, they're, it's like they're, they're so
Starting point is 00:45:45 emotionally attached to their correctness about things that they'll never acknowledge they were wrong. And they would rather just, like, destroy you and tune you out or never talk to you again about this particular subject than come to terms with the fact that they're wrong. And especially for Canadians, I feel like that's definitely what they'd be like. Yeah, they're frustrating. different way I would say that they will admit to being wrong about individuals about people but it never there's been many examples of this with them of course it's always in hindsight like as one example during the COVID era and leading up to the COVID era they they're CNN maximalists they're Canadian CNN
Starting point is 00:46:26 maximalists they watch it literally every day it's not it's so depressing so that's what they are and their favorite favorite was Chris Cuomo he's their guy because you see Chris talked to them like he was just one of them you know he's just like a normal he's like he's how you think in American talks and he would banter with his brother and they ate that shit up right now to them to their side of things Chris Cuomo is utterly disgraced you know he's been chased out of the mainstream media world and they fully acknowledge that never reference him think he's an embarrassment on an and on but they will not change any of their underlying theses about the organizations that employ the people or the institutions so when i've tried to say like hey you guys you know how like all of your opinions on covid for you in particular came from this guy and now you admit that this guy is utterly disgraced it demonstrates that their faith is in the three letters. The faith is in whatever person is put on this stage with the red letters and the
Starting point is 00:47:42 white borders is saying true things. And like if that person is later disgraced, it has nothing to do with the institution. We can still trust everything the next person is saying. Yeah. Do you, you should, I'm serious, you should text them right now and be like, hey, what do you guys think of this. I have to do an average anyway. We've been peaceful recently. Well, just be like, I'm totally curious. Do they know what you do?
Starting point is 00:48:11 Yeah. Okay, perfect. Just be like, I'm totally just curious. I'm trying to get like a polling you. Like a vibe test here. What do you think of this and see what they say? Consider it. Do it.
Starting point is 00:48:24 I'm not going to do that. It's a family chat. You don't have their number separately? It's been a peaceful family chat. You can't text them separately outside that chat? that chat? I could, but it'll find its way into the family chat. Okay, Ms. Bright, if you're watching, can you do this stuff in person? Oh, whatever. Yeah. Whatever. I prefer to ruin dinners.
Starting point is 00:48:50 So disappointed right now. That's kind of my, that's kind of my thing. I thought you'd have a little bit more testicular fortitude when it comes to dealing with Canadians, but apparently I am mistaken. What they actually usually do is just immediately say something. bad about Trump, which is the move. You could say anything about anyone. And if it's false, they would just not believe you or, you know, they might just not believe you. If they can't refute it, they just immediately say, well, Donald Trump is a evil bad orange
Starting point is 00:49:24 man dictator. They probably get along with that girl I interviewed on a man on the street video. He's a rapist. Who do you right? Well, yeah, they think he's like a 50-time rapist as well. It's insane. Repeat champion. Insane.
Starting point is 00:49:37 All right. Well, we're going to get to an ad read anyway. Starting point is 00:50:49 We'll get to them a little bit later. Do you want to talk? Bruins? Yes. Do you mean Minnesota Wild? How are the Bruins doing? I haven't even... They're good.
Starting point is 00:51:01 They're in first place, man. We might as well call the season. I think so. Probably a little premature, huh? I think the Wilder, Wilde have the same record, a better record. Wilder's seven and four and two. That means you have two more losses. No, we're four, two, and one. You are five and two.
Starting point is 00:51:20 Okay, so how dare you? My bad, I read that wrong. By the way, giving teams points for overtime losses is the gayest, softest thing hockey has ever done. I can agree with that. I think that's losing it's all there is to it it should be purely
Starting point is 00:51:38 wins and losses that is all that we should judge sports on speaking of losing my fantasy football team is garbage I just got my first back-to-back wins I started 0 in 3 it turns out if your quarterback is the worst
Starting point is 00:51:53 quarterback in the league and then becomes good again that has a lot to do with it I mean it's it's terrible I'm one in four or something, one in three right now. It's bad. I had to play Deshaun Watson last week because my quarterback was out. Jeez. But it's such a good roster.
Starting point is 00:52:14 I just don't get it. Anyway, we don't need to talk football. The Vikings are five and out of those. That's what's keeping me cheerful. You're 11th out of 12 in our league. I know. As long as they don't take 12th. Who's in the last?
Starting point is 00:52:25 Can't con. Okay. That makes it better. That makes better. I don't care about anything as long as I be can't gone. I thought this was funny. We don't have to spend too much time on it because we've kind of touched on this a few times. But this back and forth saga in the courts and in like the public narrative between Trump and the media is just so funny to me.
Starting point is 00:52:44 Because Trump kicks them out and is like you guys are a threat to national security. You can't cover me. You're not a lot. Don't do this. And then a judge is like, no, you have to have them in there covering you. but then in the meantime the mainstream media like got together like we're going to stop covering
Starting point is 00:53:04 Trump with our press pool coverage and so they they stopped doing that and then while that's going on Trump's DOJ is like hey we're going to investigate you for collusion on not covering us so Trump is like you can't cover me you're out of the White House but also I'm going to send the DOJ after you
Starting point is 00:53:22 for not covering me at the White House and I think this is the funniest story that's out there right now one of them yeah i mean it's just say it's like media schizophrenia but i i do um one of the second order effects of it is i like the sort of industry and just zeitgeist argument about what media responsibilities are and if there are media responsibilities and those things having to kind of be litigated uh not just in the court of public opinion but potentially in this case in court. And if there is any 5D chess going on here with the Trump administration, maybe
Starting point is 00:54:04 there's a little bit of that going on where they're like, yeah, bring your lawyers and argue about what rights you have, or rather, what privileges you have as media outlets. You know, it could be a bunch of nothing burgers, but it also could be the case that these guys in suing the Trump Trump administration for something kind of stupid end up kind of owning themselves a little bit, stepping on some rakes because I would be curious if this kind of thing gets elevated into like, now how exactly would you define media and how exactly would you define your rights and privileges as the media and how broad or narrow is that definition? Because as we've talked about, as you mentioned with the press secretary, et cetera, I don't
Starting point is 00:54:55 think we should have any special press passes or anything like this. And I definitely do not believe that media figures should have extra protections compared to American citizens. So, you know, we treat them as a protected class right now. legally, we treat them as a protected class. And I think that that's absurd. So anything that threatens that is good. Yeah. I totally agree with you. 100%. And I have no love, love, lost for the mainstream media. I do think they're at the end of the people. I agree with Trump in that regard.
Starting point is 00:55:31 I just think it's a funny back and forth. And they are working their hardest right now to create the narrative that there's about to be a midterm bloodbath for the Republicans. It's every day now. This could be a little transition segue. Against the Republicans, you mean? Yeah. Like all the narratives you're seen out there are how there's definitely not going to be red wave.
Starting point is 00:55:52 It's going to be a blue wave, if anything. Like Politico, I've been. going through some of their polling that they're doing. It's harder now because the archive isn't working, but like this is a, every day there's new stuff up here, burning down the house. Since when do county candidate forums dominate the ex-algoorisms after a major debate night in today's play,
Starting point is 00:56:13 no, let's do here. Senior House Republicans expect to lose control of the chamber in the midterm elections as the party limits its ambitions to preserving fringe seats while salvaging the Senate majority. five GOP lawmakers all granted anonymity to speak candidly about their party's dire outlook
Starting point is 00:56:30 said that the House has all but slipped away the goal at this point is to save as many Republican seats as we can President Donald Trump is not helping the person said
Starting point is 00:56:41 adding he's made this election all about himself and he has said repeatedly that pretend I'm on the ballot but then on true social he'll say I'm not on the ballot I'm not in this election
Starting point is 00:56:51 when he's talking about the hooties and what he said that yesterday. Yeah, like two days ago. Yeah. Now we have to survive this political storm. Other ones said Democrats would pick up about 10 seats. They're not sure about the Senate yet.
Starting point is 00:57:03 But this is a lot of the narrative you're seeing on all the major mainstream media outlets. Whether or not it's true, it's probably not true. Trump has the mandate. That's always been in my opinion. I think it always will be. I don't see how Trump loses that mandate. But it doesn't matter in terms of the public narrative and the election fraud because they use the election fraud to backfill whatever narrative they want to produce. And they've proven
Starting point is 00:57:26 successful at that time and time again with a few with few exceptions. And I still think we don't know the full story about some of those exceptions. But that's what I'm expecting here. I'm expecting like we're not telling you not to go vote guys. Please go vote if that is what you want to do. Nobody's trying to tell you what you should or shouldn't do. And you shouldn't listen to somebody who's trying to tell you what you should make up your own damn mind. Like if you're that influential you're you shouldn't be voting in the first place um but i don't remember where i was going at that i got sidetracked you you said that you expect them to retroactively backfill their own narrative yeah i don't i don't know what um obviously what's going to happen
Starting point is 00:58:09 but i am expecting i'm not expecting a red wave i'm just i'm just not i'm expecting the blue wave based on the narratives are putting putting out there uh but we'll see we'll see yeah i don't know I keep going back and forth. I mean, it's a binary ultimately. I definitely agree about the election fraud, et cetera. I've just been thinking, you know, what are we going to be told? My ideal scenario, which Ghost has been talking about as well, has been, or you and I have been talking about this last week on DPH is the GOP winning in a red wave and then impeaching Donald Trump. based on what they see as his continued betrayal of the American people. Because I want Trump and the MAGA Corps to break from the Uniparty, is that going to happen? When I say impeach Trump, I do not mean remove him from office. I mean just do a performative theater and try to go against his public mandate,
Starting point is 00:59:09 even more so than they already have, to finally get maybe more of MAGA to realize that they're not our friends. It's crazy that that's a controversial take. But like Chris Paul says, it's only a controversial take on even-numbered years, not on odd-numbered years. Starting in January, it will be totally normal once again to call the GOP part of the Unip Party. But we play this game in the interim. That's exactly what I believe Trump is doing, playing a game. You know, he talks about, as you said, it being a mandate election and you've got to, you know, you've got to pretend he's on the ballot.
Starting point is 00:59:43 Then the next day, I'm not on the ballot. It wouldn't be a repudiation on me if they lost. I have nothing to do with it. When I was asking the various AI models by plugging in all of the news reports and the polling data and all the fake and gay stuff, this was about a week ago. The models had spit back blue wave house, very tight Senate leaning blue. my gut is a blue house and a red Senate
Starting point is 01:00:18 that's kind of what my gut is but again none of that really addresses the underlying fraud of anything but my actual theory is that Donald Trump will continue to be the president in exactly the same manner
Starting point is 01:00:35 he has been president up till now no matter what we are told about Congress yeah I had a really good gut health joke when you said that's what your gut was telling you. I was going to ask you if you've been drinking your good brew lately. But I agree with you. And me and Chris on, I think it was this last Saturday's power hour. We talked a little bit about that report that I've been kind of piecing together showing exactly that. Like Trump has been able to wield the executive power in spite of Congress. The only thing he hasn't really touched was according to the report.
Starting point is 01:01:04 Like it went through everything that's been accomplished this year from both Trump, Congress, the courts and everything. Everything is fine. against him almost a thousand court cases against him there's one and a half court cases brought against the trump administration what he's doing every single day so far the second term of his third term whatever you want to call it one and a half court cases a day that's nuts it's like almost as much as i get a day it's crazy yeah um but no but no for real the only things he wasn't able to do was stuff that's about taxes like taking money from americans or giving it back to them which is stuff that they shouldn't be doing anyway in my opinion so that's why i think
Starting point is 01:01:40 that was hysterical. But Trump has been able to do it all. All the good stuff that you see from this administration has all been in spite of Congress with them not helping him at all. He does not need them. So that's like where this has been our stance the entire time. Like he's going to continue operating the way he's been operating. It doesn't matter who's in there. It might be more interesting. There might be some more fun and entertaining stories based on who's in there, like the impeachment stuff and whether or not that goes through. And I expect it to go through either way. That's the thing. It's, I think it's. they think they're done with Trump here.
Starting point is 01:02:12 This is the second half of his second term to them. And if they can cut that leash off early, I think they're going to try. I really do. And I think that's the narrative that I'm most curious about is how the truth community is going to, like these people that are trying to emotionally blackmail everybody else about the voting thing these last couple of weeks.
Starting point is 01:02:33 How are you going to respond when the people that you're like, you have to go vote for these people are the ones that try to remove Trump? Well, John, it's easy. it's easy let me just tell you how how that works into the plan right now the plan is to back the GOP hold your nose and vote john but once you're proven right about that the plan will become to talk about how these people are enemies of the state okay that's how it works that right now the plan is this when the plan is wrong we choose change what the plan is.
Starting point is 01:03:12 Like I would have thought you understand how this works. Another one. I got more. The fascists take my vote. I'm going to vote on time. Won't let the fascists take my boat. I'm going to vote on time. Vote on time.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Vote on time. Vote on time. I'm going to vote on time. My vote can save democracy. I'm gonna vote on time Look at this kid, pause this. My guy. He doesn't want to be there.
Starting point is 01:04:15 Of course not. He's having sex with this chick. Well, not at a moment, but probably... No, but look at him. This kid's got some Alpha Chad buried in him. Yeah. You know, and he's going to regret some things down the road. Look at everybody else in those pews.
Starting point is 01:04:32 Those are degenerates. There's not many people there. They're all degenerates, all of them. And this kid is a normal, as a normal guy. Don't judge a book by its cover. You don't know that. He's not one of them, John. You can see it.
Starting point is 01:04:47 You can see what he's, what he's thinking about. And he's like, is it worth it? Am I getting it later for subjecting myself to this? But okay, man, we've all been there. We've all made those mistakes where you just, I don't even know how to explain it. Maybe she's a hypnotist or something. Who knows? Let's just keep playing.
Starting point is 01:05:08 I'm going to vote on time. Vote on time. Vote on time. Vote on time. My favorite is like it's so packed in the church. They didn't have room for somebody to sit on the floor next to the pew instead of in the pew. I feel like that's a protest of some kind.
Starting point is 01:05:25 I doubt it. It's probably because they're making like a church protest. Like I don't want to be touching things in a church. Yeah. But this is like people are doing this and they think it's like, It's moving the needle. They're doing this unironically. I'm pretty sure.
Starting point is 01:05:40 Maybe they're just doing this a joke. That's what I would hope, but it doesn't seem to be a joke. It seems like they're earnestly trying to like save democracy by voting on time. Just like the truth community. I'm going to vote on time, vote on time. This little vote of mine. I'm going to vote on time. This little vote of mine.
Starting point is 01:06:04 I'm gonna vote on time. This little vote of mine. I'm gonna vote on time. Vote on time. Vote on time. Vote on time. That's tough. It was gorgeous.
Starting point is 01:06:21 It's unbelievable. Unbelievable. But hey, that's who we're up against. Imagine imagine like putting that rhetoric forward as what the plan is. is it's the only way to it's the only way to win the plan man incredible you know but back to your earlier point and as i said i think trump will continue to trump in the way he has trumped i don't want to go into the whole struggle session again but the
Starting point is 01:06:49 strong let me harder daddy let's do it on a positive note again the the fact that we think Trump is doing an awesome job as the president, as you said, in spite of the challenges posed to him by the other two co-equal branches of the government, especially Congress, and being framed as the ones who don't trust Trump enough is crazy. It's the craziest thing. And at this point, I'm just like, totally willing, that's the hill I will die on. I mean, Chris has been saying this, but it's like, you know, elections being fake is a hill he's willing to die on. Saying Trump is doing an awesome job in spite of the courts and in spite of Congress in particular is not an anti-Trump take.
Starting point is 01:07:40 I can't believe you're so anti-Trump, man. You got to stop this. I'm going to have to like keep you off badmends if you don't stop this. It's so nuts. And like you said, virtually everything that hasn't happened in the way that like we have wanted it to happen is a pretty direct result of Congress. Yep. A lot of the biggies.
Starting point is 01:08:05 So just crazy. Apparently, Jeremiah 5 by 5 says, John, look up the New York City one, singing about the revolution and abolishing the NYPD. They dropped that chorus banger too. And I do want to find that because it does sound like a banger. I just don't know what, um, I'm going to play a little thing first. Very short. Can you find me the link of that, Jeremiah, five-by-five?
Starting point is 01:08:31 That'd be really cool. Well, look, I have to make deals with people, so I don't go around calling them names. I'm a dealmaker. I've always been a very good dealmaker. I became very rich because of deals, so I don't go around mocking people, you know. Well, look.
Starting point is 01:08:48 I don't know if I believe that. First of all, she's a dumb person. You ever see her? She looks at, I swear she's a dumb person. I know smart people. I mean, I deal for. from Elon down to Katie. I figured there's a big guy.
Starting point is 01:09:04 Now, Elon's 80% super genius and 20% he got into the problem. I always tell it. Now, he's a great guy though. We had the president of China last week. And people said, oh, why are you doing that? I'm doing that because we get along. It's nice.
Starting point is 01:09:20 You know, we're doing great with China. We make a lot of money with China. We used to lose a lot of money with China. Did you see this one? My favorite one from the past couple days is this one. And I don't do this with men very often. I started examining his body because I didn't know he was a great athlete. And I looked and I went up and down.
Starting point is 01:09:41 He's talking about John Hustead. He's running for Congress somewhere. And he played football with John Gruden actually there for the Dayton Flyers back in the day. He in his career got, get this, you're never going to believe this. And this is, if there was ever a confirmation of the plan, this is it. in the 80s when he was playing college football for the flyers he got 17 interceptions in his career and clearly like he did that specifically for the plan like that's it's the decode moment right oh yeah right right if he had gotten 16 or 18 or whatever it didn't drop that one that he could
Starting point is 01:10:15 have had um then we'd have no idea this was part of the plan but because he got 17 interceptions it's all part of the lab but apparently he's got a great body let's listen to trump describe it very often started examining his body because i didn't know he was a great great athlete. And I looked and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass and I looked at and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He's got these like claws. You are a great athlete. I didn't know that because he doesn't talk about that. Congratulations. Now they finally know that was very good. You know what they say about big hands too. Interesting. Lots of interceptions. His name's John though. So we can't confirm.
Starting point is 01:10:58 whether or not he's talking about that guy or me that's the one thing we don't know that reminds me back in the day when he um his doctor i don't remember the guy's name or maybe he was talking about john kennedy or something at that one um CPAC or something and i yeah that was together that was the intro at the dph intro yeah and i had to end up putting a disclaimer on there because people legit thought he was talking about yeah about me which was so funny i'm gonna play that as our outro tonight unless you have other videos maybe we can do multiple No, I don't have any other videos. We still have to talk about Russia.
Starting point is 01:11:34 So for the next six hours, we'll probably discuss that topic. If you want to check that off. Yeah, so, man, there's a million headlines, but I'll just choose this one. Can we start with a little context backstory about the latest in the saga that is the Russia story? Because it's another rerun. it's it's about where we were i think in about this time last year it's october right it was september november last year that we were in the same spot where Putin and zalinski were on the verge of peace deals he was having them to the white house i think and then they were negotiating peace without nato and
Starting point is 01:12:14 zalinski and zolenski got mad and we were talking at the time like guys i mean at some point it's going to be zalinski that's like on the outs here the one that doesn't want the piece it's going to be very obvious yeah and it's going to be putt at the table waiting for you guys i mean at some point it's going to be at the table waiting for him and then they're going to try to get them out of office by saying you're illegitimate how about you hold an election and then we'll sign the peace deal that was literally a year ago and we're here again and and all of that stuff i would say it's it's definitely a rerun but it's got more uh of what we were saying at the time which is that trump is openly talking about i mean Putin's been talking about the election situation for years he's been talking about
Starting point is 01:12:50 that for the whole time of course uh trump though is this time around talking about the election situation and saying, you know, that he thinks Zelensky should hold an election. Of course, a lot of this stuff is being reported all the different media outlets consulting their intel and administration officials, unnamed, et cetera. But they're basically all saying out of the Department of War and the State Department, yeah, Zelensky can start telling us what to do here when he holds an election. And, you know, obviously that's a bit of a posture change. from the Trump side of the equation, but we did see it coming.
Starting point is 01:13:29 But more to me, I don't look at this as like, oh, the deal is imminent, et cetera. I more just think the timing of it is interesting. I think the just how spastic the media is being about it. You know, the Overton's goalposts refrain suggests that they eventually start kind of converging with your narratives and their narratives are starting to. This one, Trump plays Russian roulette on the eve of the midterms. President Trump is indulging his fondness for Vladimir Pood at a moment of acute political peril, forcing Republicans in the midterms to take cover as he showers Moscow with one-sided concessions. That is something that is, I don't know if this is a complete shift, but in the past, when Trump has kind of leaned on Ukraine publicly, he has also leaned on Russia publicly.
Starting point is 01:14:24 this time, I think what the media is picking up on is there is virtually no leaning on Russia happening from Trump. There is no rhetorical leaning on Russia. And if we're to believe the actuals of what's going on here, there's also not only no leaning on the Russian Federation from an actual perspective or a sanctions perspective, there is leaning on Ukraine from a policy perspective. So in the midst of all, this kicked off a few days ago where Trump announced a diesel deal with Putin. I don't remember if we talked about that on Wednesday, if that had happened at that point. I think we talked about Saturday though. Okay.
Starting point is 01:15:07 So either way, the one thing I did find notable about that is that we've now, that's the closing of like the Trinity with the energy situation. The energy situation is not solved, but I had pointed out on the DPH in the summer, there was an Atlantic article called the Great Chinese. oil mystery, at the beginning of the Iran crisis, the price per barrel of oil, according to industry experts, not just media people, should have been over $200 a barrel. We never got anywhere close to those numbers, even though it went up and it sucked for everybody. And the reason that the media figured out on a delay and that the oil markets figured out on a delay was that the Chinese
Starting point is 01:15:50 stopped taking oil off of the open market. And they were drawing on. off of their own strategic reserves. Now, that doesn't sound too shocking, except it is shocking because geopolitically, according to what the central narrative is, that would have been a perfect opportunity for the adversarial China to put the US in a really bad position when it comes to futures prices
Starting point is 01:16:15 by continuing to take oil off the international market. The fact that they didn't was read by the media as a quote mystery because they couldn't figure out why China was helping keep Western oil prices suppressed below what they would have been. We then got the news after that that Donald Trump had unsanctioned Russian oil on the open market. Remember that? Yeah. He unsanctioned the Russian oil and the this was under the guise of, hey, we're going to, you know, we got a global oil crisis going on. We're going to unsanction the Russian oil so that the Russian oil could go to India and the rest of Asia. So we've got China and Xi Jinping taking pressure off global energy
Starting point is 01:17:02 prices. We have Trump taking pressure specifically off Russian energy prices. And now we have Putin taking pressure off American energy prices, right? What a none of them take pressure off of? European energy prices. Well, you're so. Go ahead. Yeah. So that's the notable thing to me. The actual diesel deal is not like it's not this major deal that the amounts they're talking about are nominal to me it's more about the signaling which to their credit even the media propagandists said when trump announced this diesel deal it's more a signal of the relationship with russia and the coordination on energy prices than it is like an actual financial massive deal yeah and that's that's my big takeaway essentially is one it's like 10 days worth of diesel oil in terms of what we actually consume it's not
Starting point is 01:17:53 much and maybe there'll be more later um it was interesting to see that supposedly i don't know if this is true or not i didn't make it down to the actual ducks to confirm the ship's arrival but supposedly the boat was on its way well before the deal was actually announced and finalized meaning like they coordinated ahead of time but the media freak out over this um this is trump's way of like hey guys i'm trying to do my best to loyal or lower the oil prices but these are the people that are fighting it and fighting me on this saying I can't do this saying I'm helping Russia all those things I'm not the one that's responsible for this high prices you see here it's all these other people it's a narrative play but what's most
Starting point is 01:18:35 interesting is the narrative that the mainstream media is running with about how like this further emboldens Russia against Ukraine and and the fact that Trump is buying this oil is just going to go turn around and rape it you put right back into weapons that they're going to use to bomb Ukraine what's funny is Europe, the European Union, has literally not stopped buying Russian energy of any sort since the war started. They have spent over $200 billion on energy since the Ukraine-Russia war started and have not stopped doing it every year since, every month since there's a new purchase. And yet the media is not talking about that. They're still trying to portray this as like
Starting point is 01:19:13 what Trump is doing here is going to somehow emboldened Russia. What about the European Union? Like, well, how come you guys aren't talking about that? It's an interesting little narrative here. And it's a nice way for Trump to like point out the hypocrisy videos there and he's kind of hinted at it a little bit on true social But but that's my favorite part of this one. It's a narrative play Because like you said, it's a very minuscule amount of actual diesel that we're getting for now Maybe there'll be more later points to the coordination Points out the hypocrisy takes a little bit of the blame off of Trump and everybody's trying to put it on Trump including the Republican Party Now I can now I cannot remember where I saw this. I don't know if it was in our telegram chats
Starting point is 01:19:51 I saw Ash in the chat and maybe it was her that was posting about it. I thought that there was some signal today about the DOJ looking into oil trades, U.S. oil trades based on the futures market. If anybody in chat knows what I'm talking about, I didn't get a chance to look into it before the show. I think it's, I think the CFTC. Yes, that was it. Is it this? Bloomberg has a story out here. Yeah, I think it was Bloomberg. Oh, shoot. I'm not going to be able to scroll.
Starting point is 01:20:28 But the CFTC staff were told to retract analysis of suspicious oil trades. Chairman's advisor intervened to take over examination of lucrative bets that were made around Trump reversal. Okay. So that's more futures. That's more betting markets. That's not quite what I had in mind. I mean, it's still notable. But my one thing I've been saying on the energy deal front is,
Starting point is 01:20:51 When it comes to the prices, as you said, I think it's absolutely true that Trump has done everything in his power to lower energy prices in the short term. In the long term, the moves he's making, I think, are more notable and are going to incredibly lower energy prices. I mean, that's a whole series of podcasts in and of itself. Even earlier today, he announced, you know, an Alaskan energy deal, a U.S. energy deal via Alaska to Taiwan, Greenlands. we've got Venezuela coming online. That's before you even get into the nuclear buildout we've been talking about. Just in terms of terrestrial energy, we've got that going on. So the Iran crisis is being used as predicted by a bunch of us to reroute global energy dependencies
Starting point is 01:21:38 and basically eliminate global energy dependencies. The Saudis have just announced this past week, even though they're going through some sort of humiliation ritual every week now. They just announced that they're basically doubling their capacity and their pipelines to circumvent the Strait of Hormuz. We have the Syrians doing this in partnership with the Iraqis. So long term, the global oil grid is going to look totally different. Short term, though, I really want one rug I want to get on is action by the Trump DOJ or investigations by the Trump DOJ into the future's markets, specifically where it concerns American energy companies.
Starting point is 01:22:22 Because Trump warned them, as we went over on the show a couple times this year, including most recently, I think in the summer, that the price of oil, even giving the so-called crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, should not be where it is for Americans. It should be much lower. And the reason it's not is that the American energy companies are raking in record profits while using the narrative of disruption in the Strait of Hormuz to jack energy prices based on futures markets. So I'm looking for enforcement on that in the future. But back to the point about the Russian energy deal, it is notable that the media machine is
Starting point is 01:23:03 pointing out exactly what you said, which is like, hey, the same day that the Trump administration refuses to re-up funding for Ukraine, they literally. sign a deal or agree to a deal to give more money to Russia. And I think the media is reading into that signal accurately, which is that Trump is like making it more and more obvious with every week and every month that goes by, that it's not just a matter of he's a little sick of the Ukrainian regime and he doesn't really mind Vladimir Putin.
Starting point is 01:23:36 I think I really think that we're on a trajectory where they're just going to make it increasingly apparent that he is literally on the Russian side of this conflict. You know, they're not going to say that outright, but it's getting pretty obvious. I mean, they've for years already been portraying that. Like the whole Russia collusion narrative was Trump was Putin's puppet, right? So they've already been there. What I thought was interesting too on the heels of like the stories and the narratives this week about that stuff, not just the election aspect and how they want to have a new election over there.
Starting point is 01:24:09 They don't want to. Putin and Trump have talked about them having another election there to get Zelensky out of it. there was a story immediately after the deal went through and where Trump kind of got mad at Zelensky and Zelensky kind of got mad and they had this little agreement of we're going to not we're going to have this super real war where we're trying to win and save the world but we're just not going to bomb our enemies energy infrastructure because that's what you're doing a real war but right when that was circulating and Trump started to show frustration they were putting the story out there about um or they asked Trump at least did you stop sharing intelligence with with Ukraine and Trump's
Starting point is 01:24:46 like no no they're we're still sharing intelligence the fact they asked that question at all that's interesting that's interesting and makes me think that they did indeed maybe stop sharing intelligence and if that's true um and somebody asked it like i feel like there could be some national security implications for that being leaked that is interesting uh adjacent to that and speaking of trump speaking of elon musk did you see this We've got today. Elon Musk says Trump is ultimately responsible for any curbs on Ukraine's Star Shield system. This comes after Ukraine has accused SpaceX of imposing new restrictions on the Star Shield Internet service without warning which disrupted Ukrainian military operations.
Starting point is 01:25:36 It appears some restrictions have been partially lifted as of Thursday. So this was all over the globalist news in particular. Musk says U.S. government may be behind slowdown. I think that's notable. You know, there's one way of looking at that, which is, I don't trust Elon Musk and, you know, he's mad about the Ukrainians losing. The other way of looking at that, especially in light of what you just said with intelligence sharing, is, isn't it interesting if Starlink and SpaceX are throttling communications by the Ukrainian military right now? because that's what the infrastructure is over there. Yeah. Interesting. I don't know, man.
Starting point is 01:26:19 Interesting timing. It is. I'm still just curious, like, this is one of those narratives. We were told it was going to be taken care of before Trump even got in there. Yeah. And it hasn't been. Maybe it has been. But I'm saying the narrative of it still hasn't been. The narrative has not been resolved. And that's the same way with every single story, though. Me and Chris also talked about this Saturday. We have not a closure on a single story, major story anyway since 2016.
Starting point is 01:26:45 Everything is still open. Every single one of them is still open. And maybe that's just how it is. We're never going to get closure on any of these things. It'd be disappointing. But yeah. Well, to tie this into the real thing I thought was notable about most of the reporting on Putin, Trump, this week. There was a choice quote in this one, Trump's October surprise.
Starting point is 01:27:10 that, you know, the media is, what's interesting about the midterm shit is less the elections to me. And it's more the media posturing around the elections. There was a rash of headlines all week about October surprises and whether or not this is the October surprise, etc. And what it communicates is a sense of twitchiness and unease within the establishment of Trump. We talked about this, I think, last week in a different context. You know, there was an interview, I think we were going over in the Atlantic with, I forget, I forget who it was with. Oh, Eric Holder, where they're basically talking about like, oh, Trump might send the military in. He might do this.
Starting point is 01:27:50 He might do this. He might do nothing. So they're very twitchy. And they're looking at the Russia thing going, is this the October surprise? Is Elon Omar the October surprise? So that's notable. There was a choice quote in this one that I had sent to you earlier where they said the bottom line for Republican candidates. Oh, wait, no, wrong one.
Starting point is 01:28:07 Trump's admiration for Putin has been one of the most enduring geopolitical subplots of the past decade. So as you said, this one I thought was interesting. Most of the hit pieces on the Trump Putin stuff were all about framing the GOP as opposed to everything Trump is doing optically with Russia. And, you know, this isn't just the usual unnamed sources close to the situation. I went into Politico, the Atlantic, Axios, New York Times, etc. They're all quoting, you know, Republican congressmen and Republican senators talking about how they don't like this. They want to support Ukraine more.
Starting point is 01:28:48 They don't think Trump is supporting Ukraine enough. And the interesting line in this one was the bottom line for Republican candidates, the challenge isn't just selling Trump's record. It's keeping up with a president who continues to give them new decisions. to defend. And I loved that framing because it's been my framing this whole year on this show since the start of the Iran crisis, that Trump, part of what he's doing is just throwing grenades into the midterm cycle and watching what the GOP does optically with those grenades. And are they going to jump on the grenades and take them on behalf of Donald Trump? Or are they going to be
Starting point is 01:29:34 silence about them or are they going to attack him for lobbying all those grenades into the midterm cycle and the closer we get every day that we get closer to the big inflection point of the midterms you see one more GOP senator congressman step out onto the ledge and say he doesn't like what Trump is doing and Trump is putting them in a bad position the Russian boogeyman has a way of doing that with a lot of these guys a lot of these guys I did post when the deal first got announced. I was like, I wonder how long until they start to tie this to some form of election interference, like Putin is helping Trump with the gas prices before the midterms. Is this election interference thing? Like, I wouldn't be surprised if we see the GOP impeachment
Starting point is 01:30:19 push from the right because of something like this deal from with Putin. But anyway, man, it's about that time. We say we start going through boosts and rants. We do have one more sponsor to get to really quick and then we'll we'll do that if you want to pull up the boost if there are any i think i saw joe 1027 j s send one in but let's talk keat real quick guys encryption matters but encryption and architecture are not the same thing many messaging apps encrypt your conversations while still routing them through company-operated infrastructure that creates an intermediary and a central system that users are required to trust keat removes that central message infrastructure it's a free end-to-end encrypted messenger built on
Starting point is 01:31:01 peer-to-peer technology, you can send messages and files or make audio and video calls without a company server holding your conversation history. Keat doesn't require your phone number or an email and it doesn't collect your metadata. That is the difference. Not another promise that a central platform will behave responsibly, but a system designed to know as little about you as possible. Search Keat in the app store, Google Play. You can download it, invite somebody you know, or you can go to keat.io.
Starting point is 01:31:26 slash Badlands Daily Herald or sorry, that's Badlands DPH, Keat Daily Herald. Oh my God, I'm a retarded right now. keat.io slash BadlandsDPH. You know what I have something to put over the screen here. Let's go to BadlandsMeen.tvee.combe slash Keat
Starting point is 01:31:44 and then send Jessica a message at Jessica Storm 1 and she will get you into the Keat Badlands group chat. And it's bumping. So I have encouraged you to do it. There you go. After that performance this late in the evening, I feel like I just lost my opportunity to be press secretary. Or I just nailed it. You could be press secretary to the press secretary.
Starting point is 01:32:08 Maybe. I don't know if that feels like it doesn't pay as much. It's like assistant to the regional manager. Yeah. All right. We got a couple boosts. 1027.js. 20 bucks.
Starting point is 01:32:17 Hi, guys. Thanks for all you do. Thank you. What? Thank you, Joe. My fellow, North Dakota. I thought I already said that earlier. No.
Starting point is 01:32:28 Frontline 1021, sent 20 bucks as well. Thanks for all you do guys. Well, thank you. Thank you. Much appreciated. Appreciate you guys. Some rants here. Susie Q20, you didn't see the comms that her clothes was saying,
Starting point is 01:32:42 some kind of space forceness. I'm talking about Zachariah. I don't know. As somebody who was the world's leading authority on comms and decoding, I disagree with that assessment, but that's just me. Susie Q20 again says, sorry about the $1. I had hand surgery yesterday. kind of medicated.
Starting point is 01:33:00 That's, I mean, the medication part sounds probably a little fun, but I'm sorry about the rest of it. My mom just had like shoulder surgery. It was pretty intense. Yeah. Prayers, prayers to her. She got anchors in there? Anchors and like some wires and stuff and pretty painful. Yes, I know what that's like.
Starting point is 01:33:20 Exactly. Yeah. So you two can bond about another thing besides your love of me. woke Antichrist this is the one I read earlier. Katie Zechariah was definitely a little flustered, but you should show her some grace considering she follows your work. Don't be a dick, Jonathan.
Starting point is 01:33:36 Dick. By the way, Mama Harold, you got to get the shoulder moving earlier than you want to. What I'll say? Like a week after the surgery. Which would be like tomorrow. Yeah. I mean, maybe two weeks,
Starting point is 01:33:55 but you got to you got to move it around. Medical advice. And financial advice. Scott Tradamus is what if President Trump is just full of shit as the adversary suggests? I mean,
Starting point is 01:34:10 you could feel that way, but I disagree. Still love him. Disagree with that assessment. But that's your opinion, man. And I'm not going to try to destroy your life because of it, as some other people might. Keith O'Higgins says,
Starting point is 01:34:25 I hate women around fraud. I call it broad fraud. The only women I want on a rug is vacuumed. Classic. By the way, when Trump was Burning Bright posting earlier with his tiger stuff, he played a video of him frolicing with a tiger, except the music was from the Lion King, all about the lion, a lion, and it really felt like he was trying to specifically trigger me. And it worked. And you got triggered? It made me upset. Yep.
Starting point is 01:35:01 Well, that's no good. Sorry to hear that. Not really. Keith the Higgins again says, John, the real Chris Miller's story is he serves under secretary of the Navy, hung cow,
Starting point is 01:35:10 chow, whatever. Our seamen go where hung chow blows. That's funny. Hammer Guy 35, heard on Keat that the Rumble Rants are broken. Yeah, we're hearing that too. Everybody should test it out. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:35:25 Hammer got 35 for doing that. Costa G up says so I listened for $20. Thank you very much. So I listened to DefCon. They showed a map of South America in 2022 and it was 90% blue. And now it's 90% red. You said it may be us running Venezuela. Add that to the craziest candidates ever.
Starting point is 01:35:41 Trump knows. Yeah, a lot of people were talking about that, pushing that rhetoric with all the election stuff, especially with Bolsonaro and that election going on down there. The one thing I want to point out about this, I actually had a conversation with chat GPT in the immediate aftermath because as we've had red and blue winds over the years here too the establishment stayed very well entrenched like that's what the uniparty is and um i know there's been like seven straight victories for red red team down there uh again not trying to rain on any hopium parades or anything i'm just trying to be realistic go ask chat chabit yourself about this
Starting point is 01:36:18 um i asked like were these actual red victories anti establishment victories Like, would you consider them anti-establishment victories that would break down of all of them? And I could go line by line. Maybe I'll do this on my show. But this is what it said. These were not seven Malay-style outsiders blowing up their respective political establishments. The biographies are much more mixed. And so, like, Malay style, that's like Trump style.
Starting point is 01:36:46 You know, like total outsider coming and blown it up. Paz, Asphra, cast, and Fujimori, those are four of the people who won, all had extensive connections to their country's established political systems before winning. Naboa came from an extraordinary extraordinarily powerful economic political dynasty, despite representing a newer political vehicle. Fernandez was literally the chosen successor of the city administration, although that administration itself ran against Costa Rica's older establishment. Dela Espreella is the one whose pre-presidential resume actually matches the conventional meaning
Starting point is 01:37:21 of an electoral outsider. businessman lawyer no elected office new movement so it's not as like just because they were red doesn't mean it's anti-establishment which i think would be more important that's what trump is that's what the mega movement is and then the one thing to check yourselves with is if you're celebrating that stuff down there like it's not a bad thing to do like there might be some real national nationalistic populist movements that are going on down there which is a good thing but if they're voting in the establishment candidates, like that's not a win, even though it looks like a win. But if we're celebrating that and like, look what's happening here and all over the world
Starting point is 01:37:59 where we got the red team winning, is that helping the delegitimizing of our election system or is that reinforcing it? And I would argue that it's reinforcing it. So I just think we need to be a little more careful with how we approach that. How many people in this audience and I can raise my hand, this. is we're not immune to this, thought that the Boris Johnson election and the Brexit movement and the Nigel Farage movement 10 years ago looked a lot like the American MAGA movement. I thought it did. I thought things are moving in the right direction. Now, from a, from a populist
Starting point is 01:38:43 perspective, populous perspective, they are. There are a lot of Brits that are fed up with globalists, just like us, even though we shit all over them. There's a lot of Canadians that are fed up with globalists. The movements of the Alberta separatist movement, the Quebec separatist movement, the British separatist movement, those are good movements and they are real movements. The figures leading those movements are often part of the very establishment that is meant to keep those movements on rails.
Starting point is 01:39:18 And the reason you would do this as the establishment, is because you recognize a groundswell of populist and nationalistic rhetoric, and you can't stop it. So what you need to do is mollify it and guide it. And you install one of your own. Boris Johnson is literally the guy, according to the central narrative, who sold out the UK to the European Union on the back of Brexit by negotiating the worst series of economic deals that ever could have been negotiated on behalf of England.
Starting point is 01:39:51 on behalf of the UK, which retroactively codified the narrative by the EU that the UK leaving the EU was going to be bad for the UK. That's because the UK leadership negotiated a series of deals that were bad for the UK to make the Brexit movement look bad the entire time, right? So just like you said, this is why our least popular. rhetoric at Badlands, not all of us, but a bunch of us, is the uniparty rhetoric. The reason we have to drive this home over and over is because people keep falling into a binary of red means good and blue means bad. And if I was the enemy and I saw that that's what you think, wow, is this going to be easy to put you right back in the pen, as Chris Paul would say and
Starting point is 01:40:49 say, look, we gave you a guy who said Trump things. Boris Johnson was a Trump humiliation ritual because they even picked the Brit who kind of looked like him and moved like him and talked like him. And the Brits ate it up. The MAGA Brits ate it up. And I did two at the time. And it turns out it was a total rug pull. It was an establishment chill. So, you know, you can't trust any of these people unless you vet them yourself in as exhaustive detail. as you would with Trump. And I do think that the only thing I feel negative about, genuinely, I'm pretty optimistic about Trump. I'm pretty optimistic about where things are going.
Starting point is 01:41:29 I think a lot of the actuals underlying all these things are actually moving in a good direction where the narratives are stuck on loops. With all that said, the one negative in my, my observation of 2026 and 2025 is that the MAGA movement has regressed toward republicanism. and not away from it in a way that they were not in 2016. In 2016, the MAGA movement was in no way, shape, or form
Starting point is 01:41:58 analogous to the Republican movement. What was that video? Who's the guy in 2016 before the election? I think it's the director. Michael Moore. I want to play that video as part of the outro tonight too. And you guys tell me if you still feel like that's representative of the movement right now.
Starting point is 01:42:16 The GOP. Michael Moore Yeah, does this This outro video remind you of Donald Trump or of John Thune and Mike Johnson and all the other guys that we're going to get in there?
Starting point is 01:42:32 Yeah, I think it's this video. It's a great video. So we're going to play that after we play. I have a couple of autos for you guys tonight. The Adjustment Bureau. Tomorrow night if you are a decoder you will enjoy it. If you're not, it was pretty good.
Starting point is 01:42:50 It was a lot better than I remembered it being. The Adjustment Bureau, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt. By the way, in the opening political montage of this movie where Matt Damon's on the campaign trail, he has a brief run-in and photo section with John Podesta. So I thought that that was strange. Of course. Crazy. It's all the usual suspects.
Starting point is 01:43:17 All right, guys, I'll be back tomorrow at 1 p.m. Eastern for the Daily Herald, right here on Badlands. Make sure you tune in for that. But otherwise, BB as always, it's been a pleasure. We're going out of here. Thanks, Dragonfly. Sister just sent over some subs. Appreciate it. Awesome. Thank you, Dragonfly.
Starting point is 01:43:31 Appreciate you. Even my fiance got a subscription. What the hell is going on? Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Anyway, you guys have a wonderful rest of your evening and we'll see you tomorrow the way i noticed a patriot in our midst
Starting point is 01:43:52 a man that knows me almost better than any human being he knows every inch of me and he thinks it's actually a very beautiful sight that's why i like that's why i like john whoa he's popular where's John. Look at John. Where is John? Great. John, you're popular, John. Wow. He didn't eat junk food. He'd live for 200 years. Because I know a lot of people in Michigan that are planning to vote for Trump. And they're not, they don't necessarily like him that much. And they don't necessarily agree with him. They're not racist and rednecks or certain. They're actually. pretty decent people. And so I wanted to sort of, after talking to a number of them, I wanted to sort of, I wanted to write
Starting point is 01:45:07 this. Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said if you close these factories as you're planning to do in Detroit and build them in Mexico,
Starting point is 01:45:26 I'm going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send it back and nobody's going to buy them. It was an amazing thing to see. No politician, Republican or Democrat, had ever said anything like that to these executives. And it was musing to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania in Wisconsin, the Brexit states.
Starting point is 01:45:54 You live here in Ohio, you know what I'm talking about. Whether Trump means it or not is kind of irrelevant because he's saying the things to people who are hurting. And it's why every beaten down, nameless, forgotten working stiff, who used to be part of what was called the middle class loves Trump. He is the human Molotaw cocktail that they've been waiting for. The human hand grenade that they can legally throw into the system that stole their lives from them. And on November 8th, election day, although they've lost their jobs, although they've been foreclosed on by the bank
Starting point is 01:46:35 next came the divorce and now the wife and kids are gone the car's been repoed they haven't had a real vacation in years they're stuck with the shitty Obamacare bronze plan when you can't even get a fucking perfect set
Starting point is 01:46:48 they've essentially lost everything they had except one thing the one thing that doesn't cost them a cent and is guaranteed to them by the American Constitution, the right to vote.
Starting point is 01:47:08 They might be penniless, they might be homeless, they might be fucked over and fucked up. It doesn't matter because it's equalized on that day. A millionaire has the same number of votes as the person without a job. One. And there's more of the former middle class than there are in the millionaire class. So on November 8, The dispossessed will walk into the voting booth.
Starting point is 01:47:37 He handed a ballot, closed the curtain, and take that lever or fell pen or touch screen, and put a big fucking X in the box by the name of the man who has threatened to upend and overturn the very system that has ruined their lives. Donald J. Trump. They see that the elites who ruin their lives hate Trump. Corporate America hates Trump. Wall Street hates Trump. The career politicians hate Trump.
Starting point is 01:48:13 The media hates Trump. After they loved him and created him. And now hate him. Thank you, media. The enemy of my enemy is who I'm voting for on November 8th. Yes, on November 8th, you, Joe Blow, Steve Blow, Bob Blow, Billy Bob Blow, all the blows. Get to go and blow up the whole goddamn system because it's your right. Trump's election is going to be the biggest fuck you ever recorded in human history.
Starting point is 01:48:57 And it will feel good.
