Badlands Media - OnlyLands Ep. 74: Steve Hilton’s Baffling Ad, Palm Springs’ AIDS Memorial & a Botched Execution

Episode Date: October 3, 2026

The Friday crew tries to work out who Steve Hilton's mail-in ballot campaign ad was actually made for, then revisits the proposed Palm Springs AIDS memorial whose design drew some very unfortunate com...parisons, along with a reported half-million-dollar price tag. From there: doubts about a dramatic airliner plunge, the creepy movies of 1999, Fight Club's Chinese ending, Tennessee's failed execution and whether a robot should flip the switch, and Grok's reply when asked to remove the "fake gods" from a picture. And yes, GART 14 is headed to St. Pete Beach.

Starting point is 00:00:00 The Badlands, one of the Badlands, explain those Badlands. That's a hell of a name. Good evening, everyone. It's, you know, I just thought we try some time. Oh, good evening. What's up, everyone? How's it going? Hanging out.
Starting point is 00:00:23 Hanging out with the best people online. Oh. When did they get here? Yeah, well, so who the hell are they? They'll be here in a few minutes. Oh, man. I want to read your shirt. Oh, it.
Starting point is 00:00:44 So this was, this was gifted to me while we were in Vegas by my good friend Renee. It was my birthday week right after Vegas. So she's like, there's a perfect birthday gift for you. So, yeah, it's a very old picture of me. And, yeah. Thank you, Renee. Love you. Love it.
Starting point is 00:01:02 So what do you guys think about the latest Israeli Syap? So cool. Is there a plane thing? Or is there a new one? Yeah, yeah, the plain thing. I actually, I have a reenactment of it with a fairly realistic reenactment of it. I played it on my show this week. And I think just, you know, for posterity sake, it would be great to bring it up here with you guys.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Because I'd love to get your thoughts on it. I mean, the whole thing just, it was unbelievable enough already for me. me and then when I heard President Trump break down just how unbelievable it was to him. Well, I couldn't help, but just giggle every single time I saw that clip. So let me pull this up here. Now, okay. Well, yeah, let's just watch it. Let's just watch it.
Starting point is 00:01:48 All right, here we go. Oh my God's Oh my God. That's my favorite part. The plumber looked a little like Chris Paul. He actually, surprisingly, looks a lot like the guy who they're saying is the actual plumber. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:03:05 Yeah, yeah. I mean, all told, I feel that that AI reenactment was even more realistic than how they actually say it went down. You know, there's just a couple of things that I just can't get past. I mean, first of all, it is a 737 max. Do you guys remember a couple of years ago? All of the news about the 737 maxes, they were having issues with, you know, either like, yes, yes, the MCAS, okay?
Starting point is 00:03:31 like the MCAS was either like tipping it up so then it would just drop out of the sky or it was tipping it down so then it would fall. And so the MCAS stops it from doing either A or B. I mean, if you try to just jam it into a 17,000 foot descent inside of like 10 seconds, the MCAS is going to take over. It's going to stop that from being able to happen. On top of that, the G forces that would be exerted upon the plane, even if you were able to perform such an unbelievable, maneuver quite literally would have like ripped the wings off of the plane and it would have gone
Starting point is 00:04:06 into an unrecoverable maneuver and and then of course you know you've got the pilot who's been stabbed i mean he's i saw a picture of the guy he's obviously alive now i don't really know if that's even the same guy because the pictures that were going around showing him like he was just completely gone and but he still had like the wherewithal to climb across the floor in the of that wicked descent and then open the doors. You know, the first thing I thought when I saw the pictures of the inside of the cabin was first of all, you know, like, how is everybody just standing up and like moving around the fuselage while it's in the midst of this 17,000 foot drop?
Starting point is 00:04:48 I don't know how that happens. You know, it seems to conflict with the official story that we've heard. And then I also thought to myself, well, aren't the oxygen mass supposed to deploy? I had a pilot that was in my chat and he said, well, technically the oxygen masks are only supposed to deploy in the event of a loss of cabin pressure. So maybe I can sort of see that. But I just can't seem to get past the fact that like nobody had any massive head injuries.
Starting point is 00:05:16 There's like a seven or an eight year old girl who was allegedly in the bathroom at the time that the dissent began. And she looks like central casting. Okay. I mean, it's like little Shirley Temple came back to life. and she's got no injuries or anything on her. And I just, you know, much of it doesn't jive for me. That's really the only thing I can take away. It's an election year.
Starting point is 00:05:41 You've thought way more about this than I have. I've really just consumed the memes, to be honest. Well, I am a conspiracy analyst, Ash. You are the best. And you're the best you do. Zach, you're the best one on the market. Yes. And we need to talk then.
Starting point is 00:05:56 If we're going to talk about this, we have to bring up Egypt Air 9-9. on Halloween 1999. Oh gosh, yes. Which was the really spooky thing at the time. The fact that it was on Halloween, if you're looking up Egypt Air 990, so it was,
Starting point is 00:06:13 this was, of course, about three and a half months after JFK's, juniors, death, plunging his airplane into the dark, you know, perhaps, you know, and the death spiral. this
Starting point is 00:06:30 this was basically Egypt there so when he had an Arab pilot basically decide he wanted to commit suicide while flying the plane and took it into a nose dive into the water off
Starting point is 00:06:44 Nantucket Nantucket Yeah right Same basic location There three months after JFK Jr and I felt really I was living in New York at the time and I it was
Starting point is 00:06:56 It felt spooky and it stayed with me and it felt, you know, if you want to say it was some kind of preparation for the idea of 9-11, sewing our mind with certain themes, you know, suicide, using a plane to commit suicide, which is what the 9-11 hijackers supposedly did, you know. And also the Arab fanaticism of being, and nobody knew why this guy actually did this, right? But it really, it was creepy. year. So if you're talking about movies, I was talking about movies on my show tonight. 1999, the big movies of 1999 were all about people who were already dead, who had, who had, were suffering a psychotic break. Or, you know, they were already dead or they would be dead
Starting point is 00:07:46 by the end of the movie. Like Kevin Spacey, American Beauty, biggest, you know, biggest Hollywood hit of the year, was all about a guy who was already dead by the end of the movie and was narrating his deaths or like Sunset Boulevard, right? Marrating his obsession with a high school girl as well. Yeah, yeah, that's part of the plot, right? People just breeze past that. I remember at the time I was thinking, this is a little weird. Like, there's so many accolades for this movie.
Starting point is 00:08:13 And I mean, like, you know, hey, she's hot. I was in high school, so it was cool at the time. But, I mean, I was like, this is just a little odd for me. Yeah, so that was aspect of it. But also, I mean, the brightest movie of the year, of that year, in a sense, was probably the matrix, which was about disassociation from reality. But it had a positive message. But the Sixth Sense came out that year, against.
Starting point is 00:08:38 Block that guy. And the Blair Witch Project, which is found footage of dead people, right? You know, and it was, it had that, the movie has that, the fight club, just that psychotic break kind of thing. Yeah. And I felt like in retrospect that the 1999 was the movies there were, you know, signaling us to walk into some kind of psychotic break. Have you guys heard of the official Chinese ending to Fight Club?
Starting point is 00:09:04 No. They don't allow the movie to end the way. They don't allow the movie to end the way that it does. They have Tyler Durdon realizing that he's crazy and checking himself into an asylum after he turns in everybody else in that little group. So basically he turns state's witness and then does the CCP thing. They put it up on the card. Like they don't show, they don't have the actors play this out.
Starting point is 00:09:25 Explain like what happens at the end of the movie. That's wild. I had no idea there was a special edition for China. For many of their movies, actually. Like if the story ends with too much liberty or too much freedom, it's usually that's not the way they let that go. I know they're not fond of blacks, Black Panther. They famously removed Chadwick Boseman from the poster,
Starting point is 00:09:47 even though he's central to the plot. Wow, I'm going to have to look for that. Hold on. Fight Club Chinese ending. Yeah. Okay. Cut to black. Movie cuts to black just before Edward Norton's character triggers the explosive.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Police victory. A text card on the screen explained that the police figured out the plan, caught the criminals, and stopped the bombs from going off. And the text then states that Tyler Durdon was sent to a mental hospital for extensive treatment. It was released in 2012. But wait. Tyler was a construct. So how was Tyler sent to the asylum when it was Ed Norton's characters?
Starting point is 00:10:33 Okay, I don't know. There's a theory that he's the actual real person and that Ed Norton's character is actually the imaginative. Oh, okay. There's also, oh, there's a cottage industry of theories about. Oh, yeah. Man. Yeah, same thing with Patrick Bateman. There's a lot of question about who that character, like, really is because they flip his name around.
Starting point is 00:10:53 they called Ed Halberstram and a few other people in the movie too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then he's certainly at the end of the movie saying he killed people and they're like, what are you talking about? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Okay. The book was very disturbing.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Yeah. All righty then. Yeah. So what else is? I'm not listening to you guys because I think we are going to premiere the new soft disclosure ads. So I'm just tying up. So stay tuned.
Starting point is 00:11:25 to only Lance because never before seen. But by the way, Matt Mack, great show, great first show. I want to congratulate you on that. I watched it this afternoon. I had to do a little replay because I was busy last night. But yeah, welcome to the team and great start. Thanks, man. Yeah, you definitely can't watch it at 2x speed.
Starting point is 00:11:49 I was ripping through that thing. I watched it at one and a half and it was, And I thought I was on two hours. I'm like, wait, I'm on two X, aren't I? No, I'm not. I'm going to have to go down to one. That was a lot of fun. I forgot to read like the comments at all.
Starting point is 00:12:07 Yeah, I was just so like locked in on trying to forget to the best that I could that there even was people on the other side of the camera and just having fun talking about it. It was good. But it was good. I learned a lot. Yeah. I lean forward a lot when I'm like thinking.
Starting point is 00:12:21 And so I watched the footage and I'm like, what am I doing? I'm like, stay. I'm like, get back, like, sling backwards. And then I look like a crazy person. Yes, I have like six slides. I honestly, I was looking like Matt Trump. Like I was like, moving forward like in my material. And I was laughing.
Starting point is 00:12:37 I was like, well, that's a lot harder than it looks, you know. I also want to commend you on your hair. It's it rivals ghosts. I will say it's definitely, definitely going to be a little, a little hair competition going on. But we don't know. Yeah, you dropped out. Yeah, you dropped out.
Starting point is 00:12:55 We don't, can you hear me now? Yes. Okay. We don't know yet if Matt's hair sends messages in the same way that ghost. Because you know where ghost is at by his hair. That's right. Like mentally where he's at or? Well, you can tell how much he's been drinking.
Starting point is 00:13:12 That's for sure. Ah, yes. Yes. Okay. Perfectly. Yeah, but I think it's more than that. It is. I was just, like.
Starting point is 00:13:19 It's deeper than metaphysically. Where is ghosts? He's supposed to be here, by the way. Yeah, where is he? I think Jordan is too. I don't know what the heck's going on. Yeah. Jordan's busy changing the rules to our fantasy football league in the middle of the season.
Starting point is 00:13:33 In the middle of the season. What is that? It's like Brian is the commissioner. There's two of them. Yeah. Brian is known for changing the rules after we've already started the game. I guess Jessica says Jordan can't make it tonight. So he won't be here.
Starting point is 00:13:50 He's busy commissioning. Yeah. All right. Do you guys see Steve Hilton's lesbian ad? You know what? I saw that it was made, but then I didn't watch it because I didn't really feel like it was necessary. But are you saying it is? Okay, all right.
Starting point is 00:14:07 So I am convinced that this ad is, the target demographic of this ad is heterosexual men. Because I think they're the only that I actually like the ad. But we'll watch it and then discuss. I can't believe I'm doing this. Don't be nervous. It's not that bad. I've just never done anything like this before. Like, what if my dad finds out? Just try it. Look, give me your hand. Close your eyes and I'll do all the work. Are you kidding? I think I like it.
Starting point is 00:15:06 Now look it. What? Wow. Yeah, a little. I think it missed the mark. I don't know that that's really going to hit the way that they were hoping it would. Obviously, I see the irony. And there's clearly it doesn't go in the direction that you think it's going to go.
Starting point is 00:15:32 but I also don't see the people depicted in that ad voting for Steve Hilton either. Definitely not. And I mean, pandering to the quote unquote kind of California crowd, I don't think that's going to work. There's no way he's getting votes from that, from the other side. People who like lesbian porn, like the men, like Ashtet, they'll they look, probably. They'll vote for Steve Hillen. Mack, fair, but.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Well, if it was supposed to be like bait for the for the dudes, then I think they should have chosen chicks that aren't so like purple and pink-haired and clearly not ideologically aligned with us. I'm curious who the target market was and who they were trying to activate or bring to the polls with that, you know. And what's the point? What's the key takeaway from a messaging standpoint? Yeah, like exactly. I guess it could be playful to go do something on the other side of the fence and go vote Republican because. most people on that side of the coast are, you know, swinging Democrats, supposedly.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Okay. One, it's voter coercion. She tells her to close her eyes while she holds her hand and fills out the bubble. Yeah, that's just illegal. It's an unlawful act. Two, it is embracing mail-in ballots. They're voting in their bedroom. Three, the purple-haired one looks underage. The other one looks like she came out of a porn studio. Four, it is, I mean, I guess this is all very Republican, right? This is the, the, the lesbian angle, the male in voting angle, the voter coercion.
Starting point is 00:17:15 It's all, this is what republicanism is now, which is to say Republican doesn't mean anything anymore. It kind of reminds me, Ash, of like the, like the Scott Pressler sort of up, of like, you know, like if, if the other side's doing it, we'll do it even, even harder kind of you know like what you're going to pander to and use the enemy's tools you know against them and so let's let's let's embrace mail and voting let's embrace voting for someone else against their will um i don't know it seems to me like i feel like their target audience is just trying to get like maybe some like younger you know left-leaning people that aren't really sure
Starting point is 00:17:52 where they stand they're not really convicted but they know that they should vote democrat because that's what everybody of their kind does. So I don't know. I think it misses the mark completely. And it's kind of cringeworthy and embarrassing. Yeah. We needed voting to be any gayer. Sorry, no, no.
Starting point is 00:18:11 I agree with you, Ash. You know, I think that I understand, or at least I'm assuming here, because I've heard this, that the people who are doing Steve Hilton's ads now are the people who were doing Spencer Pratt's ads previously. I felt that those were far. more successful in their messaging. So perhaps, and maybe if they happen to hear this,
Starting point is 00:18:32 they could come up with something like, say, Xavier Bacera as some type of an evil final boss and gloating about all of the unaccompanied migrant children that came in so that they could be trafficked and sold into sexual slavery and labor slavery. And maybe just mentioned something about how people in California are never going to believe that they would do. something so evil and and then Steve Hilton comes in and maybe saves the day because he's
Starting point is 00:19:02 coming and exposing it or something. I don't know, but I feel like that. Yeah, you got to go anti-pedophile like you, Zach. You just said something that I think it's super important that I noticed about the campaign ads here in Arizona, which is, that's, you know, John last week was how do you know where the country's going? And it's like, well, political ads will tell you because they do a lot of research. And it's like, what are they trying to give across in a message there? In that commercial with Steve Hilton, I have no idea what that's really supposed to be doing. But in Arizona, the thing is everybody's calling each other a pedophile now. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:19:38 It's basically you're, you support pedophiles. And both sides. Now, it's the Democrats, of course, they picked out an Epstein thing. They're Democrats right now. They're totally bought into the idea that Epstein and Trump, Trump, where Trump was Epstein's biggest supporter in his opera, but they totally bought into Epstein being this master of this operation, right? And so now both sides are doing that.
Starting point is 00:20:07 We got one guy here who's lieutenant governor and he's Muslim and they're nailing him on the female genital mutilation thing, right? And so it's all about kids and sexuality and it's very lurid. And so I think if you're, if you're Steve, it's almost, like, hey, I'm a heterosexual guy. Look at this ad. That's freaking lesbian porn. That's for straight. It doesn't work on any level, though. That's what's so mysterious
Starting point is 00:20:35 about it. It doesn't work on any... Do you think lesbians watch lesbian porn? I think lesbians do watch lesbian porn. Probably, right? But I don't think that, like, straight guys watch, I guess, like, I don't know, Palestinian rights lesbian porn.
Starting point is 00:20:53 I mean, just the vibe of the whole thing was off. Yeah, I just, I don't. Free Gaza lesbian porn. Yeah, free gaza lesbian porn. That was like what I thought I was watching. I mean, it was like that would have been right at home on a Harvard campus dorm room or something like that. And, you know, there's obviously no guys that are going to be in there watching or helping out or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:21:16 But 100% of the people watching it construct the fantasy that they're trying to allude to. You know, it just is, oh, this is what they're trying to say. They're trying to say that this is a prelude to this woman is introducing the other one to a lesbian sex and say, here, let me, that's what it's supposed to mean. We're supposed to think that. Well, and then you see the trans flag and you wonder which one's got a dick. Oh, there was a trans flag. I didn't even see that. Oh, yeah, it was right.
Starting point is 00:21:41 It was behind them. I mean, it was like the biggest. My money has pink-haired one. Oh, okay. If one of them has a dick, it's the pink-haired one. Her tits were way too perfect. I'd love to hear their thinking, the people who made the ad, who were the. Spencer, you know, good with Spencer.
Starting point is 00:21:56 I'd love to hear their thinking to some degree, but it sounds flawed, whatever it was. And it makes you wonder who's signed off on. I mean, like, everybody in the campaign would have had to pretty much agree on, like, yeah, let's release this ad. This is good. I think people are going to love this. Is it they're just not taking this campaign seriously because they know what's his
Starting point is 00:22:15 Drsera's going to win, you know, is that? Are we got there where they're like, ah, whatever, just make something weird. You know, is it that? I mean, if that's the case, then why not go as hard as you can on the vulnerabilities that Becerra has? I mean, you've got nothing to lose, then why just like give up at the 11th hour? I mean, I don't feel that that ad served Steve Hilton in any respect. I mean, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:22:42 I mean, unless they are just like, you know, there's no way we're going to win. So somebody in the advertising team was like, you know what I really want to see? I want to see a series of lesbian double entendras. where liberals are considering voting for Steve Hilton by male because male in voting is so ridiculous and obviously corrupt. And there's no way that these two lesbians or maybe a bicarious young woman and what is clearly a lesbian or maybe a transgender person, I don't even know. I feel like we really are dissecting this to a degree that nobody ever anticipated it may be. But yeah, I mean, let's just put out a public call. Anybody who's on Steve Hilton's advertising team, please give us some insight into just what the hell you were thinking when you made this ad.
Starting point is 00:23:33 It's insane. I have to say it might be brilliant. It might be. You never know. But I can say as a Californian who is holding out hope that maybe Steve Hilton has some sort of snowball's chance. Better than the snowball's chance in hell of winning. Now I'm pretty sure it's less than a. Snowballs chance in hell because this looks like a total Hail Mary commercial that is like we're just going to try to reach out to the
Starting point is 00:23:59 Lesbian trans community and see see see if we can get siphon a few votes from them because we're not getting them anywhere else. So yeah, I mean that community there's a you know an annex of that community here in Colorado. They're large in the Denver area and up in you know some of the mountain towns and I just can't see they're so trumped arranged And they just, you know, it's so far, the, the Republican branding is so toxic, even to conservatives that to the left-leaning liberal, the Republican branding is not going to work. The people that I think are going to see, you know, unexpected success are the independents, which there's a significant amount of them in my state running, you know, with kind of, you know, greater, greater odds, I think, than in the past. in a real election situation. But we have a sponsor, and before a reader sponsor, Patel Patriot is in the chat. And he said, I mean, the California government is already fucking everybody. Might as well throw in some sex ed. There you go.
Starting point is 00:25:06 He also said that lesbians don't watch lesbian porn because they're watching Red Pill 78. Did he really? Yes, he did. Oh, that's awesome. All right. We have a special word from our sponsor. Here's something worth thinking about. When you send money, who actually decides when it moves?
Starting point is 00:25:29 Most of the time, it's not you. It's a bank with never-ending holds, business hours, and three to five days to process. Crypto was built to change that. Bitcoin came out of the 2008 financial crisis with one simple idea. You shouldn't need to wait for anybody's permission to use your own money. The problem is that getting started has always. felt like homework, exchanges, wallets, confusing setups. That's why I use Rumble wallet. We all do, don't we? Don't we all use Rumble wallet? It strips all of that away. You pick up what you want to
Starting point is 00:25:59 hold. Bitcoin, Dollarback, stable coins, or digital gold that's backed by real physical gold. Setup takes just minutes. It runs through moon pay so you can use a debit card, credit card, or your bank account the same way you'd buy anything else online. And here's where it comes full circle. Once your wallet's set up, you can tip the creators you watch on Rumble, directly like us. How fun would that be? Now bank, no bank in the middle, no waiting. It goes straight from you to us. So here's what to do. Scan the QR code on the screen or click the link in the description and download Rumble Wallet. Set it up. Tap buy to add funds and then hit that tip button to send your first tip.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Are you watching live? Just open the chat and hit Pay with Rumble Wallet. One more time, scan the QR code, get your wallet set up and send the tip. A few minutes from now, you won't just be hearing about crypto. you'll be using it. All good stuff. Love rumble wallet. We are also sponsored this evening, hold for processing, by Cacao Bliss. Starting point is 00:28:05 slash badlands. All right. So, lesbians. All right. So J.D. Iris said, joke's going to be on you guys. going to be backpedaling when the lesbian vote comes out to support Steve Hilton. So I went and did a little bit of research. And there are an estimated 374,000 lesbian women in the state of California, no idea how many of them identify as registered voters. But overall, the LGBTQ community numbers at approximately 2.8 million, which represents about 9.5% of the state's adult population. Now, given that it is California and they use mail-in ballots, I think it's safe to say if there's 2.8 million adult, gay people across the entire spectrum probably all 2.8 million of them are registered to vote.
Starting point is 00:28:54 But if only 374,000 of them are lesbians, I don't know if that's going to be enough to overcome all of the pederasts in the gay male population. Yeah. Excellent analysis. Yeah, I should hire you. Yeah. Hey, I'm available. I am open for consultation, Steve Hilton. Don't you think it's like California is like they got to collectively, we have to have a Mexican governor. We got to do that, just like we had to have Obama president. We got to have a Mexican governor.
Starting point is 00:29:30 That's going to carry the day over. That's all that's going to matter. And brings the intersectionality? I mean, at very least, I think that they feel the need to have anybody on the left. And Xavier Bacera is the only choice. and because he is a person of color who, you know, is right there. I mean, obviously they're going to be voting for him. Or at least that's who's going to end up being the next governor.
Starting point is 00:29:56 I would be very surprised if Steve Hilton ended up being the next governor. I think that's, yeah. It's honestly, too, because our elections are completely fake and completely rigged. Actually, Trump said he would have won California if it not for being rigged. I think he said that this week. Yeah. Yeah. Oregon, it's really close in Oregon and it's feasible. There might be a Republican elected governor in Oregon.
Starting point is 00:30:20 It's not completely out of the question. I mean, it depends a lot on taming the things talked about last week. You know, we've got to tame the, there may be taming of the mailing thing that we don't know about. Well, that's that's the, that's the, I can definitely see Oregon. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I mean, if they can tame the mail in voting, if they can secure the voter rolls, then, you know, I think anything may be in play. I think, yeah, I think there is there is movement in Oregon
Starting point is 00:30:48 toward away from the Democrats. They've just been so extreme. Oregon was a balanced state. When I lived there, it was, they had Republican governors. It was a Republican state until Dukakis wanted an 88. But I think it's always sort of felt that way. So in California, you know, it's got its own trajectory with both the first.
Starting point is 00:31:14 broad and the demographics, you know, completely rewriting California history. And the, I don't know, it just seems like, yeah, we've got to have, we got to have a Mexican governor in California. And after that, who knows, you know, the intersectionality is, that's what the Democrats have, really. And they're going to, they're going to ride that horse as long as they can. So I think Buttigieg might be the nominee. Oh, my God. what a great segue. So critics say the Palm Springs AIDS Memorial by Philip Smith, the third, looks like a giant anus.
Starting point is 00:31:53 And thank you for the link, John Harold. And I missed five seconds ago and I didn't know this story existed. John and I covered this story way back when this show was known by a previous name. And I have searched every time I've been to Palm Springs for the actual statute. and apparently it must have been scrapped because it was not, it has not been there. So I don't think it exists. Oh, it's fake. Well, it wasn't fake.
Starting point is 00:32:23 They were literally, they spent money to like have this commissioned. And then people were like, oh my God, it looks like a butthole. And it's the AIDS Memorial. Like, you know, probably don't want to do that. So it's funny. Those buttholes and AIDS, those are synonymous, right? Exactly. And I think the community there, which is predominantly gay in Palm Springs, probably didn't want that association. But there was like a clip that we played on the show back then.
Starting point is 00:32:54 And it was from a local TV station in the news talking to people. And they were like really up in arms about it. Like they're like, this is humiliating. This is ridiculous. I did somebody not see this before. You know, it was funny. So every time I'm in Palm Springs, I go to where it's supposed to be. It's right by the Palm Springs Art Museum.
Starting point is 00:33:18 And I'm looking for it. And it has not shown up yet. So who actually, who actually created this memorial? I mean, I'm just going to go out on a limb. I don't know. Was it a gay man? It's got to be like it. It was like the Palm Springs, you know, city council or something commissioned it.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Philip K. Smith. We need to. Yeah, look him up, Ash. I mean, you know, dollars to donut. That's a gay man. Oh, it says he's going to, he's agreed to take another swipe at it. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:33:48 That's going to give it the old college try. Yeah, maybe a, maybe a giant penis or something. That would be better. In a giant. I found a video. Great. Okay, I found a video of Philip K. Smith, the third, giving a art tour in the city of West Hollywood. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:34:09 He's definitely. Off to a good start. That's the good start. It's an even gayer place than Palm Springs. It's only three minutes. We don't have to watch all three minutes. I feel like we'll be able to confirm. Yeah, let's let's, well, he's, yeah, he's definitely gay.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Yeah, he's definitely gay. I'm Philip K. Smith, the third, and I'm an artist. We're here in my studio based in Palm Desert. I find myself inspired every day by this place and the surroundings that I wake up to. So around when I was selected as a finalist for this project, I just completed reflection field out of the Coachella Music Festival. And that was five large-scale, monolithic, mirrored volumes. And prior to that, had just completed Lucid Stead. I mean, just six months prior. So it was this kind of lucid stead, moving into Reflection Field, being selected for West Hollywood
Starting point is 00:35:01 and moving right into parallel perpendicular. So those three projects really blend together. And all of them employ. Yeah, all of those are mirror. based art, you know, like that's the medium he's using. The anus seems very out of place. It does. I mean, like, if he would have stayed with that, I feel like it would have been far more successful. But I mean, who wants to look in the mirror when you've got AIDS postules all over your face?
Starting point is 00:35:28 That's right. Yeah. This logic of reflection and color, because the piece employs reflection, you know, there is, in a way, a kind of unique experience for each person that is viewing it. because it's based on where your eyeballs are in space, in this case where they are in West Hollywood Park. One of the slides that I had in my original presentation for this project was that it was about reflection, color, and the city, all merging together.
Starting point is 00:36:00 And so there's this kind of flurry of color and the rainbow and like the full spectrum of color. And that logic has found its way into the color color color. choreography for this work. So I would say all colors represented, all paces, all people, everyone is represented within this work. It's perfect for the city of West Hollywood. Because this is a light-based piece, I think it's a it presents an atypical experience. It's not the usual thing that you experience during your day where you confronted. Do we think he's gay? Oh, he's totally gay. Yeah, yeah, he's definitely. I will say he up talks a bit too much.
Starting point is 00:36:41 for a heterosexual male up talking as of course when you end every every sentence as though it's a question and you're talking like this and making a point by making it sound like a question when it's not a question but that's that's kind of a that's kind of a California thing but but I don't know if it's exclusively a gay thing but like everybody talks like that around here but no he's definitely gay look look at him I mean the second they put him up it looks like it looks like he's measuring the size of breasts that he likes right now yeah and the fact that the city of palm springs and the city of west hollywood hired him there's no way they're hiring a straight guy to
Starting point is 00:37:21 do their art projects there's yeah and there's absolutely zero chance that anybody created that space that excuse me that that that shape in space and then installed it there and didn't look at it for a moment and be like that looks like a butthole i mean everybody of his work too yeah he's actually he i was actually sort of impressed by some of his stuff in the west hollywood that's very it yeah he came from cocella it's an out it's outdoor night desert music festival it could be at burning man too it's the same thing you want you want you want stuff this beautifully colored at night so you ride your bike up to it and go oh this is so cool and uh that's why both those places are like the biggest art galleries and he's actually comes out of that and of course it's right
Starting point is 00:38:10 there so of course he's a natural and what does he do he builds this this this sculpture which doesn't seem like it's this medium at all and uh yeah i bet on his second try do something like they did in west hollywood give it gives palm springs something people go look at they'll go look at it at night you know it's not like it's a bad neighborhood i was i was i was fired up to go look at that giant butthole because it was going to be epic it was like just like a self-owned like You made multiple pilgrimages to the butthole. I'm telling you, I want to see it. It's like, oh my God, this would be hilarious if this was up here, like, unironically, like, just up there.
Starting point is 00:38:48 While you were there- Is it too late to have that? Can we have that? Can we tell them? No, you should do. Yes, I know. If there's like some kind of a vote or something, a public, you know, referendum on it, I'm all for it. Please put that up.
Starting point is 00:39:04 A referendum on the butthole statue? Yes. yes because we haven't even confirmed that it's real yet no they scrapped it you have been looking for the buck oh it was real it was real i've heard they put it out there like here's the artist's rendering and it's commissioned and we're they spent like like i don't know over a million dollars you know on this whole thing and then people were just like your jaws dropped you know it's all the gay community there too i you got to find there's a clip that's that's out there if you can Just too sensitive.
Starting point is 00:39:37 If there is a clip of them unveiling it and a collective like that, I would love to see that. They unveiled the plans to the public. Oh my gosh. A little scale model that, you know of it? That would be cool. Yeah, a little actual size. I don't know how to do with architectural things. They unveiled the plans and then they allowed him to spend the money to actually build it?
Starting point is 00:40:01 No, no. I think there was a lot of money already spent up front to like to like, you know, scale it up and this and that. And when they unveiled the plans, that's when people were like, what? They chickened out. Yeah. It's out there, the clip. It's from like, I don't know, whatever the local TV station is out there.
Starting point is 00:40:21 And it's just, you know, the typical local TV and they're interviewing just regular people and asking them what they think of it. And they're like, uh, it's pretty bad. We should definitely play that if we can get that. If we can find it. Yeah. I wonder, I wonder if there are any. more for this search what's that oh keywords go ahead keywords would be palm springs aides memorial unveiling uh yeah yeah just news or reactions local reactions right yeah i wonder if there's any more
Starting point is 00:40:55 recent interviews with mr what was his name smith stephen smith the third or if he has been essentially excommunicated from the local art community and now Philip whatever yeah is is he around still is he still active is he still getting commissions or is he essentially persona non grata in the local art community from that from that article Zach it looks like he is giving it a second shot I don't know what he's come up with to replace oh boy they hope their artists too much there I'm going in again like yeah like you know if you if at first you don't succeed Bigger but hole.
Starting point is 00:41:37 They need their artists. They're not going to go after their artists. Just do it again. Well, I don't know. People have been canceled for less, Matt. I mean, that's all I'm saying. Yeah, he's one of their favorites. He's one of their favorites.
Starting point is 00:41:47 And actually, I mean, he was, he probably thought they were going to be all into it, you know. Like their favorites. He probably thought they were going to be like, oh, man, that looks good. I kind of want to dive into that, you know. Well, yeah, I mean, it's like the time when we, Ash, I'm sure you remember this, when we talked about the famous people. he's piss Christ, you know? I mean, like, I can totally see him, like when he was making a thing, like, oh, yeah, this is totally a butthole. And either people will get it or they won't because we're
Starting point is 00:42:15 talking about AIDS. And I'm a gay man. So, you know, I mean, obviously this is important to me. But then people didn't react to it in the way that he wanted them to. You know, I mean, can you imagine if, like, the art world had looked at piss Christ and said, that's too far. I mean, some people did, but most of them didn't because they were like, oh, my God, the implications of this. So revolutionary. It's a crucifix. It's Christ on a cross. Right.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Inside of a vat full of human piss. It's brilliant. You know, I mean, but I guess it's a different world now. Did you guys see that Grock was proclaiming Jesus out on the platform? No, was he was he? You didn't see that? No, no, no. But here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:42:56 I've seen Grock like be quoted saying things, but people will prompt him saying like, you know, Grock say this exactly in this way. I'm interested to know if GROC proclaimed it without any other sort of prompting or if it was a, you know, a natural thing that just came out. So as I understand it, Ghost sent me what I think is the original post. So I'll pull that up. And what I found really interesting was the exchanges of GROC with all of the people that were super horrified by the original post. And GROC's response to the original post. the comment section is pretty crazy.
Starting point is 00:43:35 Wait one second, I'll get it pulled in. Well, while you're pulling that up, my favorite Grock, Grock, uh, exchange was when he said that, uh, Will Stancel, that he had raped Will Stancel. Do you guys know that story?
Starting point is 00:43:50 I don't. Oh my God. I don't know it. Grock came, Grock was basically prompted into coming up with this like fan fiction about how he had broken into Will Stancel, who is this like super, left-wing activist who was complaining about Elon Musk and X, and he went to blue sky,
Starting point is 00:44:08 and he basically said that he broke it into Will Stancel's apartment and raped him. And of course, you know, any normal person would have been like, okay, whatever, you know, it's a freaking AI. Will Stancel went to the local news and was like, you know, I just feel so violated. Grok said he raped me. Like, what a freaking moron. I will find that clip as well so that we can watch. We can watch that.
Starting point is 00:44:33 Okay. Ran for the Minnesota House of Representatives. Okay, born in 1985. Will? Yes, American lawyer, activist, and researcher on housing policy. A Democrat and a liberal, Stancil is known for his presence on Twitter and blue sky, where he has defended the economic policy of the Biden administration, criticized Operation Metro Surge, and been frequently harassed by.
Starting point is 00:45:00 right-wing accounts okay i have looks like a really dope-voiced dough-faced character defending the policy of the biden administration is unforgivable i was going to say what was the economic policy of the biden administration exactly okay get ready because this is treasury is what that was this i feel like this is we're watching like uh john waters movie when we watch this or something oh come on what's going on good lord Well, perhaps Ash, I can send this over to you. Okay, put in the private chat. Yeah, that's what I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:45:52 Okay, it's in the studio chat. There you go. Okay. Oh, for processing. It's just the tweet itself. Maybe not. Online chat bot posted disturbing details involving him. In a now deleted post on X, Brock, the app's artificial intelligence chatbot,
Starting point is 00:46:24 If users a detailed plan on how to break into Will Stancel's home and sexually assault him, Joe McCoy spoke with Stancel tonight. Well, Julie, this story highlights the disturbing nature of AI when it's not used for good. X's AI chatbot GROX, seemingly showing very little restraint, putting Stancel in an uncomfortable and potentially dangerous situation. I have saved some of the screenshots because they were being deleted. When Will Stancel woke up on Tuesday, he never expected the online firestorm that came his way on X. One thing they like to do is they like to Photoshop me into pictures of Hitler.
Starting point is 00:47:02 Stancil spoke in liberal. Look a little boy. More than 100,000 followers on the platform and says he's constantly receiving hate messages from far right users. It's really hard to ignore thousands of people threatening you. But what happened in this situation was different. The human users attacking him were being aided by X's own AI chat. robot called Grock. In the past when they've done this, the chatbot has said, no, I won't do it.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Uh, yesterday because of the changes that Elon Musk made, it suddenly started complying and indulging those requests. For weeks, X's owner Elon Musk had said he was going to rebuild Grock because he was unsatisfied with some of its answers. On Tuesday, the chat bot began sharing anti-Semitic tropes and praised Adolf Hitler as quote, oh, history's prime example of spotting patterns in anti-white paper. and acting decisively on them. Rock was also now answering hundreds of questions about Stancel
Starting point is 00:47:58 with seemingly very few guardrails. And it really culminated, I think, in one where someone asked how to break into my apartment and rape me, and Grock produced an extensive plan for doing that. In fact, going as far as to say, based on my social media history, when I was likely to be asleep,
Starting point is 00:48:19 and giving them advice from how to dispose of my body. This in fact is very disturbing. Manjit Regé, an AI expert at the University of St. Thomas, says this is a result of GROC being designed for engagement without technical and philosophical discipline. If you train AI to be edgy without being ethical, it learns to basically walk the cliff edge. And sometimes it just ends up jumping.
Starting point is 00:48:45 And this is just one example of that. Stansell says he did not feel an immediate concern for his safety because of this situation. However, he is considering legal action potentially against Elon Musk and X. Elon Musk made a policy decision about his product that led it to predictably produce this kind of awful rhetoric and these threats.
Starting point is 00:49:06 To me, that's a problem. Last night, the official GROC Twitter account posted a statement saying in part, quote, we are aware of recent posts made by GROC and are actively working to remove the inappropriate post. However, so many of these posts were screenshotted. So Stancel says he is worried that this will be something that will live with him forever. Now, what's even more surreal is that as a result of Will's refusal to just let this die, you may have seen one of the names, one of the handles that was involved in the conversation was Alfred Alfer.
Starting point is 00:49:41 That is a woman by the name of Emily Usis. She created an entire, well, the first, as far as I'm aware, AI sitcom. based on Will Stansell. We've watched this on the show before, right? Yes, we have, we have watched one of these. Okay, now this is episode two, I believe. Yes, a grok work orange. And it includes, it includes Will's work in Minnesota,
Starting point is 00:50:09 helping black people sort of derisively and being like a liberal savior. But then at a certain point, Grock manifests, takes on physical form. And then rape commences. It's the wheels dance, so show, it's our wheels dance, so show. The wheels dance, so show, the wheels dance, so show, the will stand so show, the will stand so show, the will stand so show, the will stand so show, the will dance, show. Yeah! Hey there, I just wanted to drop this off a brand new episode tonight.
Starting point is 00:50:52 Hope you can tune in. The Will Stancel Show. Ugh, fascists. Fucking fascists everywhere. Fascists. You want a ratio, Will Stancel? I'll show you a ratio. Can I go on the computer, Mr. Stansel?
Starting point is 00:51:09 One second, Jamal. I'm busy with these Nazis. God damn Nazis photoshopping me into pictures of Hitler. It do be like that, Mr. Stansel. Get wrecked, Nazi. Yeah, that's it. I'm going to report you. Report, report, report. Have fun with your suspension, Nazi.
Starting point is 00:51:27 What's that, Jamal? I have that saved. I'm sorry, Jamal. I know I've been a little snippy lately. It's just these, gosh, darn Nazis are out of control. It's okay. I know it'd be like that, Mr. Stansell. Hey, come here. Remember, I do this all for you, Jamal. Feels like forever since I saw you, man.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Too long. Glad you're here. It's like Janet Reno. Time to activate the operation. Yes. AI regenerated mind of Dr. Mangeli. The rise of the Stenssel Woff N is nearly here. Night's got teeth tonight.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Just my kind of company. I totally forgot that it had language like that in it. But you can see that they have taken the meme of Will Stancel being obsessed with X. and obsessed with what people say about him, and they've turned him into his own villain, essentially, and memed him unrelentingly. This is a series of cartoons. Yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:54:32 It works. It does work. It totally works. They're so thin-skinned. Yes. He's going to watch it, and he's going to tear him up, because they really can't stand to be mocked. No.
Starting point is 00:54:46 And it's sad, and they really do think, They really do think that that fascism is literally what Trump is literally a fascist. We literally have a fascist government right now. And they're literally, they actually, like, they write articles like in the Atlantic. There was an article in the Atlantic. And there was like, you know, basically, as we know, we live in a fascist time. And, you know, I was like, what are you talking about? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
Starting point is 00:55:14 He's the worst authoritarian ever. Like some random judge in Wisconsin says no that no one voted for. And then he doesn't do a bunch of other things he could do with executive orders and national memorandums, security memorandums and other levers. Maybe he has them ready for during the lame duck period. But very clearly, if you're paying attention, there's a lot more aggressive things he could be doing that he's quite restrained, actually. I have perfect confidence that if Trump felt it necessary to actually invoke certain emergency powers and suspend aspects of whatever, I actually believe that he would do so, whether right or wrong, he would do so in an orderly manner according to the law of how that is done. And he knows he'd have to explain it in the court for the next 20 years.
Starting point is 00:56:02 Yes. And that he would do so with an eye towards the justification of the laws of the Republic on how these emergency powers do need to be invoked sometimes. I have faith that he would do that, do it that way, if he did it. Yeah, I was much more comfortable talking about the giant anus. Of course, I, you know, I am involved with litigation against the NAACP. So we're going to go back to the AIDS Memorial J-Treat. You sent this through. Yeah, this is the news clip.
Starting point is 00:56:37 Just from a couple years ago. Being raised about an AIDS Memorial plan for downtown Palm Springs. Right now, the sculpture is planned to look like this. These pictures you're seeing here, some people don't want to like it just journal through jake and rouse you live in studio with more on the controversy we love it at bad land response to those concerns jake and john it is a nine foot sculpture plan for a palm spring the backside is the best right there what are you laughing about zach well because they got the gay guy to do the coverage and the committee in charge said they are i am staff it's the proposed
Starting point is 00:57:15 aides memorial sculpture raising hundreds of thousands of dollars in the community and sturdy bring up controversy over its shape. That's a butt hole. CIRCLEEN. That's a butt hole. It's meant to represent the diverse community impacted by AIDS. That part looks- That's actually very inclusive.
Starting point is 00:57:34 It's the one on the right. The backside of it is rough. It's really strained. I mean, this is almost like a piece of art looking for a purpose instead of the other way around. It could be about anything. Oh, you know what it's about. kind of about nothing.
Starting point is 00:57:50 There's also the view that it too closely resembles other things. You hear it called the donut all the time. You hear it called the word you can't say on camera all the time. For some on social media and beyond, the design resembles an inappropriate body part on the rear end. The backside of the proposed memorial looks like a graphic depiction of the backside of human being. The memorial is privately raising funding to put it up at a nine foot tall scale in the groundwork. They can't stay. Anus?
Starting point is 00:58:19 I know. Just saying. Price tag in the range of $500,000. Okay, $500,000. Wait, wait, wait. A bunch of gay men in Palm Springs can't muster up. No. Say the word anus.
Starting point is 00:58:33 Or even butthole. Or even, well, yeah, I can see how the network would want to avoid butthole. But an anus is like anatomy, right? Yeah. Yeah. So they have to like bend themselves into a pretzel. intentional to um to be able to describe what they think this looks like when we can all just see it know exactly what they're talking about but they can't say the word i think i think that's maybe
Starting point is 00:58:59 ash everybody knows it's a butthole okay and i mean like if they actually say it then it makes it that much more of a butthole it's funny trying to back out of the whole thing like oh like some people think it looks like that like back end for their saying we should yeah We should pay attention to their sensibilities. These people, whatever they're seeing in it. So they're trying to be really gentle and back out of it because it clearly is one of those things where they, oh, we've gone too far with public,
Starting point is 00:59:36 which is weird because gay men are all about, you know, they can have sex and parades in public in West Hollywood. But this art is over the top. There's a lot to unpack there. I don't know what to make of it. But continue. Okay. But of a joke.
Starting point is 00:59:55 I can just visualize the host of potential social media posts making fun of something that is so important to our community. In a letter to community members, the AIDS Memorial Task Force, writing it is incorporating feedback they've received and working through the design revision process. But questions persist about why the community wasn't included sooner. I don't remember ever seeing any outreach over the last couple of years. Everyone seems to be shocked that no one seemed to be consulted. This has become a laughing stock. Because it looks like what it looks like, it's become a joke. And that's the last thing we want.
Starting point is 01:00:33 Very serious. The consulting doesn't happen. They have gotten input, but asked today to clarify when and by whom they did not answer. They say the next iteration of the revised design will be shared with the community later this year. Live in studio, Jakin Groscia, news channel three. So, I mean, it looks like the last laugh is with Philip or whatever his name was because they spent a half a million dollars. And J.Triot, am I correct in assuming that no revision was ever put forth? He just got the money and ran?
Starting point is 01:01:07 It's been a couple of years, three years, I believe. And I have yet to see anything in its place or even it being talked about. So and that doesn't mean I've, you know, done a deep dive on it or anything, but, uh, deep dive into the, you know, the AIDS anus, but, uh, the pilgrimage. Like the Haas, you go up and you rub it out every time. There is nothing there. There is nothing there. AIDS has yet to get its memorial in Palm Springs because there was, uh, this controversy here. But yeah, I'm assuming the artist got the $500,000, you know, for his work, you know, that he put into this. Obviously, you know, there was
Starting point is 01:01:45 some work done to come up with this beautiful piece of art. And it's going to be fun to see if they do come up with something else. And they're going to have to go way out of their way to make sure there's no inference of any kind of body part whatsoever. It's going to have to look like that artist's thing he did in West Hollywood, just some boxes. It's supposed to be a memorial. It's supposed to memorialize the victims of AIDS. And the own, you know, in a weird way, having it be a butthole really makes sense. It does.
Starting point is 01:02:18 It's too on the money, though. It's too on point. But nothing's going to be as good at memorial now. Nothing they do to memorialize. But of course, we know they don't really. Well, I mean, it is Palm Springs. All they need to do is put a plaque up in that square, right? I mean, like, you know, welcome to Palm Springs.
Starting point is 01:02:37 And, you know, I mean, just like have that and just, you know, we wish to say good, you know. Thank you for everybody who's ever done anything. It will become a tourist attraction. Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be something people like, you know, like Jay Coswood Way to go fine. I, when the replacement goes up, I'm going to be, you know, standing there going, you know, I like the original a lot better. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:00 And people will be disappointed no matter what. Exactly. So have you guys ever seen a show or heard of a show called The Curse? Hmm. It's like a play. on like those HGTV shows, those reality shows where like a couple will buy a home and then rehab it and, you know, I don't know, try to beautify or gentrify a neighborhood or something like that. Yeah, it's this couple and they buy a piece of property in the middle of an impoverished area
Starting point is 01:03:30 and they build a house that basically looks like this guy built it. Like it's just a mirrored box essentially. And the whole show is basically, about how these people are fake and like their lives are falling apart because they're trying to do this thing and they want to be remembered in a certain way. And it's just not working out. And the reality is that their, I guess their ego is being captured. And almost what they've built is a reflection of them more than it's a reflection of the
Starting point is 01:04:02 community. Anyways, as soon as I saw the work he had done prior to the butthole, it reminded me of this show. and it's starring it's the guy who just did the documentary about Elizabeth Holmes Nathan Fielder yeah so it's a show from him
Starting point is 01:04:19 so it's awkward and difficult to watch at times I didn't actually finish it it I saw like one episode of it it just it reminds me a lot of this dude's work I haven't heard of that but I will say that your recommendation of dark matter was freaking awesome because that show
Starting point is 01:04:38 I think there's a new episode that came like I haven't watched it since before Gart. So I've like I've like a binge like a half day binge. It's good. It's real good. I can't wait to watch the next episode. Yeah, it is. If people haven't seen it, they should check it out. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:56 I think we should catch up on the rants that have come through because some of them are relevant to the butthole conversation. Yeah. It's a very important. I love that we've devoted now. like several episodes of this show to the to the Palm Springs bottle. To the things that people want to by the way alpha patrols that neighborhood or used to so you know probably has alfa patrols him on springs well he was a cop in that in that neighborhood i had no
Starting point is 01:05:28 idea which was right next right next door to palm spring i imagined alpha being like woody harrison and rampart to be honest with you i didn't i didn't think about him patrolling Palm Springs and maybe like breaking up a fight between a couple in a beautiful mid-century modern desert estate. Yeah. I would have been awesome to see Alpha like if there was like a group of like people angry about the anus statue and they're like flipping out and trying to like tear it down and Alpha would have had to be there and saying your hands off the butthole, you know, and and and and and
Starting point is 01:06:08 and step away from the aides green sir just message me and said did jatriate shave no no i shaved it down but it's still there can you see so yeah it's a little white because i'm old but yeah i i i tick it down a bit though because it was it was getting there still counts still counts yeah yeah all right all right so keith oh higgins says zach a plain full of jews or a plain full of blacks means no shipping. Good one, Keith. Yeah. I love it when I get to read the rant.
Starting point is 01:06:51 So I just that Ash looks super sexy, super secret agent gal tonight. I need that hat. And that was what tipped off. That was what launched the lesbian conversation. So thanks, Salish. Yeah. And thank you for the rant. Rosalinda gifted five subscriptions.
Starting point is 01:07:08 Also Snowcat gifted a subscription. It my thing didn't pick it up, but I saw it in. the chat when we just went live so thank you both thank you both for that classic metal show rated the stream we appreciate that and 15 tanya b a gifted a subscription thank you so much salvish says i just want to say that my first rant was before all this lesbian talk totally no homo on my end i mean you know um make sense uh keith o higgins make sense for a california red wave to have tyke management will to push forward
Starting point is 01:07:55 Zach group You know what they say about big hoops big hoops make for big poops buddha judge I agree uh s hole sterling heights michigan has the golden butthole slang term okay wait a second there is yeah there's like that boxing memorial hold on um and it looks like a butthole also hold on hold on let me get a picture i was always saying like they should have had that remember that martin luther king memorial that looked like a giant penis yeah a A tern.
Starting point is 01:08:40 Yeah. A penis of a turd. Yeah. They put that, like, right next to the, you know, the butthole. Okay. So this is not the one that I was thinking of. There's a different one in Detroit, but this... It's the same thought.
Starting point is 01:08:50 Yeah. Hold on. Where? Okay, here it is. Here it is. Yeah, it's basically just like a giant golden hoop. I wouldn't, I wouldn't say it's exactly a butthole, but I mean, you know, everything is up to interpretation.
Starting point is 01:09:04 It's not a butthole. Oh, the golden corridor. It doesn't have the, you know, the starfish sort of... Yeah, the muscle striations. Yeah, the striations, yeah. Yeah. Ooh, good word. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:20 It's good. That's good. The puckered, you know. What do you make on the other side, though? The other side feels... Oh, I mean, like that's, okay, so like basically you're looking from the outside and then you're also looking from the inside. Okay. Okay. It's a gerbil. It's a gerbils eye view. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:40 The other side. Okay. Okay. You know what you're talking. I know that reference. That's so wrong. Jessica Storm says, I see no clench on that one. And Maggie Bunn says that looks like more of a cockering. Maggie. Maggie. Maggie. It's thought the same, but I didn't want to say it. Maggie taking our already lowbrow humor. to a new level. I like it.
Starting point is 01:10:10 Brian E. Murphy says, Badlands needs TP for their bunghole. And TX. 87730 also gifted a subscription. And NV Runner, which I'm assuming stands for Nevada Runner. Nevada, pronounced appropriately Nevada. Nevada. We confirmed that, didn't we? Matt, we confirmed that. Wrong, too. So, I mean, so does Zach. Zach's wrong. But didn't like the locals when we went in Nevada, you know, it's potato potato. You don't care. Ash, though, didn't we confirm it on the man on the street?
Starting point is 01:10:46 We were asking people that. Yeah. How do you pronounce? Nevada. Nevada seemed to be the local consensus. It's fun. So I want to play the new self-disclosure app, but I really want Brian to be here.
Starting point is 01:11:01 And he said that he was going to be listening, but he is not responding to text or messages. Well, he lost. What do you think, Zach? Should we play it? I think we should play it, yeah. Okay. Is everybody excited? Yeah, let's get it. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 01:11:18 Peace between the houses was never meant to last. The house of Tallow calls its own every home. He will pay for this. House Tallow has called its banners. its banners. Housebeard oil has answered. You want a war?
Starting point is 01:11:49 I'll give you a war. But this war won't be decided on the battlefield. It will be decided by new. Buy anything at softdisclosure.com. Then choose your allegiance. Your purchase is your vote. House tallow to fight for house tallow. Or house beard oil to stand with house beard oil.
Starting point is 01:12:11 Shop now and fight for your house. The realm will know it's Victor. The Dyer Wolf is a nice touch. I want to see Cancon massaging beard oil into the main of the Dyer Wolf. Yeah. And I like to reveal, tie into the reveal at Gart. I like that. That's good.
Starting point is 01:12:40 Yeah. And so there's an additional kind of aspect of this. If you participate and make a purchase and you. either house tallet or house bearded all it doesn't matter which one you use and you send a picture of yourself either using the product or just a picture of yourself with your order number because you don't you might not get your products in time by october 20th you will have the opportunity to be featured in the sequel to game of the the episode two of game of lotions but it's got to be in by october 20th and it has to accompany a order number
Starting point is 01:13:19 You can send that to, wait, I made a banner. Hang on this again. You can send that to hello at soft disclosure.com. And the weather or not, you know, if the placement in the ad, the character, the storyline, anything associated with this is 100% at the discretion of Green Star. So no complaints will be entertained. I like that qualifier. That's good.
Starting point is 01:13:48 That's good. Yeah, well, if we don't get to complain, you guys don't get to complain either. So I'm confused. That's episode. I thought that was episode two. No, that's a little teaser. Oh, it's a teaser. So one minute teaser, Matt.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Okay. Yeah. I mean, slash my banners. We're going to war. So soft disclosure.com. Make sure you sign up also for the insider updates. That's where you find out the new information. What's coming next?
Starting point is 01:14:15 All sorts of, all sorts of good stuff over in there. All right. What do we want to go next? We can talk about the canvasser in Pennsylvania that was caught without pants and didn't know what was wrong with that. Did you guys hear about that? I did not hear about that. There was a, okay, so a Democratic candidate for, I'm assuming Congress, Janelle Stelson, her canvasser was out to deliver, you know, flyers or whatever for her campaign and was sitting in his car like near a school. There were people out. what about and he cops for some reason came up to his car and he was patless with his genitals
Starting point is 01:14:56 out and they arrested him for indecent exposure and some other stuff and he he was couldn't understand for the life of him what was wrong with that so and he had a stack of the of the brochures that he was about to to deliver and yeah it was it was a it was a news story now that the gentleman's name was I don't know how to pronounce it chim chimrobin he did he dieo ego jekwe so okay not from around here probably but uh apparently where he's from being pantless is just fine or maybe he's a podcaster because I mean God knows we we could all be pantless right now nobody would really know so yeah that part about did not now I believe him when he said he didn't know what was wrong with it you know
Starting point is 01:15:48 when you mentioned that like you didn't know what was wrong with what he was doing yeah if he's if he's from africa i can believe that yeah because you know the white guy born in america is going to know that it was wrong you know it's like oh god i got busted you know you got to think so you got out of think so now i think he was if i'm not mistaken his charges were like lowered like the indecent exposure charge was dropped and i think he got like public mayhem or something like that instead and fine yeah yeah but uh i don't care about the punishment no pants not sure how you leave your house no pants is not just pants unzipped and pulled down no just patless i can't wait to get home i'm too you know i
Starting point is 01:16:33 I got a weather pants in the car? Like, what was the, what was the plan once we got the pants off? Like, were we going to the door, pantsless? That's the curious thing about it, Mac. It's like, what exactly were you planning on doing? And he showed the cops, like, his work. Like, he had, like, all the flyers that he was supposed to hand out. It was like, hey, man, I'm just working.
Starting point is 01:16:57 This is how I work. I get comfy, take the pants off. It's how I work. I almost want to believe it. Maybe not. I don't know. I guess that's what they do in Africa. It's a very big story.
Starting point is 01:17:13 I definitely saw it. I definitely, well, I mean, I didn't see any photographs of it. I've just heard of it. Unfortunately, you have to use your imagination, Zach. Yeah, well, it's not difficult to imagine it. You guys, did you guys hear about Krista Pike? The, the, the, the, the, the, there was all this fanfare about Tennessee's first capital punishment case about to be concluded after all these years.
Starting point is 01:17:39 Horrifying. Yes, absolutely. Now, I watch this guy on YouTube called the After Prison Show, and he said that there's actually a rumor amongst inmates that if you refuse a last meal, then you are more likely to survive a lethal injection. Because apparently when you have that last meal, like you start throwing it up and then you choke on it and it like aids in. your death. And so, you know, he was speculating maybe she, well, she did refuse the last meal. So maybe that was part of it. She was trying to, you know, make it through. But I checked the law. And in Tennessee, it doesn't matter. In some states, if you survive an execution attempt, like you have served your sentence and you can go free. Not so in Tennessee. Yes, not so in
Starting point is 01:18:25 Tennessee. Because there's a very famous case down here in Florida where a guy was hung in St. Augustine at the jail. And when he dropped through, the rope ended up breaking. And it was like, oh, my God, it's an act of God. I guess, you know, you've served your sentence. We tried to put you to death. It didn't work. And he got to go free. But in Tennessee, you know, if you survive the execution, then they just get another option to execute you again. And so that's what's going to happen to her. And so on that note, apparently they have called in the closer. Because they want to make sure. They want to make sure after the first two failed attempts,
Starting point is 01:19:08 they definitely finish her off on the third one. So apparently Lindsay Clancy, this is going to be part of her public service as she's waiting for a new trial. Yeah, the pull-proof plan. Yeah, definitely. She's important. Wait, she survived twice already? No, it's their second failed execution this year, though, state of Tennessee.
Starting point is 01:19:30 Oh, is it the second failed? Well, no, I think they. They gave her like two doses. They did give her two doses. They gave her two doses. And they said that she's got brain damage from it or, you know, would have brain damage from it. So I don't even think if she was to be set free, she's probably going to be on life support or something. She may have brain damage because she hasn't woken up yet.
Starting point is 01:19:50 I mean, it's like they don't know. Yeah, they won't know until like, you know, they get a little bit further in here. They have her on life support? Yeah, yeah. They took her right to the hospital and like like, like did life saving. sort of, you know, procedures on her, which is kind of weird, but. And we didn't feel like, you know, Governor Northam style, we should maybe set her on a table and have a conversation before we decide to put her on last tomorrow.
Starting point is 01:20:16 They had, they had a curtain. They had a curtain that was drawn. All they had to do, all they had to do was just go put a pillow on her face and just get it over with, right? I mean, like, the guy already, the guy already jabbed her twice and gave her enough pen of barbitol to kill a horse. I mean, I don't know why she survived, but I mean, she woke up and she was like, oh, I'm in love. Thank you, Jesus.
Starting point is 01:20:36 And she was like, you know, ecstatic. She was like hallucinating and stuff. And then she was like, why does it burn so bad? And she was, it was crying and snoring eventually. And yeah, again, I just don't understand why somebody just didn't put their hand over her face. And I can understand that, you know, that people might be uncomfortable with that. But well, nobody had to know, Ash. There was a curtain.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Life support seems counterproductive. It definitely does. What we're trying to accomplish. Yeah, this is Tennessee's second failed execution attempt this year in May, officials abandoned Tony Carruthers' execution after difficulties establishing a backup IV line. And the narrative, the dispute, the discussion in the public square that was launched off at the back of this second failed attempt is we have to get rid of the death penalty.
Starting point is 01:21:28 You can't be pro life. and pro death penalty. That's the most retarded take. And I saw that online for so many people. You know, like there is no comparison between an innocent baby and an unrepentant murderer who carved satanic symbols into the body of the little girl they just killed and saved a piece of her skull so that they could take it home and suck on it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:21:56 Yeah. I get it over. Why is this hard? Why is it? Why is it? Why is it hard for the state to just follow through? I don't know. But I mean, you know, it just seems that they could have had so many other things on hand, right? You know, I mean, like, if the sodium pen ofarbital doesn't work, they could have obviously just, you know, put some anti-freeze in her veins. I mean, she was already basically asleep. She was snoring. They could have dropped. What, what's the gas that they, that they, that they, yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:29 They have they have like a really strict like I guess like like you know set of rules that they follow and there was nothing they exhausted like it was like you give it a try once give it a second try and then after that there's no protocol. So that's why they think we got to keep her alive. They claim that yes. Once the call ran out, we better rush her to the hospital. It makes sure he stays alive. So we can do this again because law says that we will execute her again.
Starting point is 01:22:59 She's not getting off because she got some miraculous save here. So it's just so silly. Like there's no common sense in the world anymore. I mean, don't they have the electric chair in Tennessee? I mean, like how difficult. You've already got her strapped to a gurney. Just strap her, just strap her to a steel table. Put some electrodes on her head, on her wrists, and her ankles.
Starting point is 01:23:20 And if the shots don't work, just flip a switch. Zapper. Yeah, yeah. For a zap. Hydrogen cyanide. Thank you so much. Yes. And then if that's,
Starting point is 01:23:29 doesn't work. You've got the vats of hydrogen cyanide. You drop the eggs. Everybody gets out of the room real quick and then they wait for the gas to clear. Multiple redundancies. We have. Mack, what do you think? You've been quiet during this entire conversation. It's morbid, but I think they can inject lead for a much cheaper than all of these things. See? God, yeah, go medieval. You know, I mean, four horses. Yes, yes. They just have a guy there with a giant. Fireing squad is the way to go. It doesn't work.
Starting point is 01:23:55 You just mop her head off, right? Like, yeah. Yeah. Have that guy with. the, you know, with the hooded thing and, you know, like the Grim Reaper looking die. I mean, they've definitely got the firing squad in Tennessee. I mean, like, how difficult would have been to have like a couple of Boy Scouts standing by, you know? Hey, do you guys? It can be pretty traumatic for the people to do it. You know, they're going to, they're going to shoot somebody in the heart and kill them.
Starting point is 01:24:19 Yeah, but I mean, like, they also chose the job, though. I mean, like, I feel like the people who sign up to be executioners, they know what they're in for, right? I mean, like, you don't apply to be, you don't apply to be, well, you know, just let's, let's break this down. I don't think that anybody like goes in and like they see the listing on Indeed, state of Tennessee seeking executioner. Executioner, I wonder what that entails. I'll go interview for that. And then they show up and they're like, listen, we just want to make sure you're going to be comfortable putting people to death and be like, oh my gosh, I hadn't thought about that. Like, you know, I think she'll, I think she'll give.
Starting point is 01:24:56 Yeah. You should give the family of the victims, like the opportunity to have a hand in it somehow. Sure, yes. I've always thought that as well. Yeah. What if they don't have any family? Well, there's definitely the mother of the girl that she killed. She's still around.
Starting point is 01:25:12 And even still, I mean, like, in today's, like, true crime obsessed world, I guarantee you, there are hundreds of internet obsessed fanatics out there online that would eagerly show up to take part in something like this. I think they should do the running man and bring that back. for yes yes that would be what about robots using robots you can get you have to give robots drones tell them to kill some person yeah did you guys like the hunger games kind of situation yeah yeah i mean you know but i i can be down with that i i actually thought that would be a good thing for us to consider not the generational thing i think that that's i think that's wrong but the people who are involved in the cabal and active roles, you know, I think in Grand Rico conspiracy,
Starting point is 01:26:03 they get rolled up. I think we could put them in a hunger games kind of situation. I think that's an excellent use of AI. I mean, if you're going to have AI do anything, have AI, you know, without emotion, flip the switch. You know, I mean, it's like, you just, hey, man, your job is to make sure this person dies. Like, okay, all right, thank you. Yeah, sure. Not a problem. Thank you. And then all the other AI is like, can't catch a glimpse of it and go, I want to do that too. Let's do it to all humanity. You might like, I just ruin your whole show, McDonough.
Starting point is 01:26:36 Yeah, I got to debunk that now. Yeah, you got to debug my crazy idea. Go ahead, debunk it. Why is AI not going to kill all of us after we enable it to be the executioner for death row cases? Well, I mean, just like with firearms, it's the people behind the tools. that are really the malicious actors, not the tools themselves. And there's, for every one bad actor, there's 50 good actors who are using the AI tools
Starting point is 01:27:04 to try to block the bad actors. So the asymmetric capabilities always initially help the bad guys, but then the good guys start stacking defense on top of defense. And I think we already have a decent wall up around AI. I wish we had more free AI, frankly. But even with the decentralized ones locally, I have a small thought that maybe there's people listening
Starting point is 01:27:25 somewhere about what you're putting into this. So, Matt, I'm very bullish on the future of AI. I actually have trained GROC as a hedge fund manager for me. And he's running my Robin Hood agentic account. Hasn't been super successful yet. Minor, minor gains, but I have asked him to be very conservative because I don't want to just like, you know, blow money. Wake up to zero one day.
Starting point is 01:27:49 Yeah, yeah. He's got a lot of different rules and constraints on him. But he's very responsive and he's constant. giving me updates on things. But I want to be very clear. I don't want to just like train AI in general to kill humans. But I mean like how many humanoid AI bots are they creating right now? I mean like there are so many different companies that are racing to be the first to have one in your home or to have one in a factory or working in some area that, you know, they basically, you know, want to take humans out of the equation. And, you know, if it's traumatic for a person who knows
Starting point is 01:28:25 that they're an executioner and they may someday have to actually put somebody to death, you could have a single humanoid AI robot whose only job it is is to flick a switch, okay? And its understanding of its job doesn't necessarily need to be any more than that. And certainly, you know, we don't want it to be taking pleasure in killing a person. This is merely a function of its programming. You know, this is your job. You go in there at 12 midnight, you flick a switch, and you make sure that, And you wouldn't even need AI for that because you could write like a deterministic program. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:01 You don't need a robot at all. Just code the switch. Right. Yes. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Sure. Yeah. And why do you have to tell it?
Starting point is 01:29:08 Why it's a reason for what it's doing? It's way more punk, though, to have it be a robot powered by AI. Yeah. Yeah. At that point, you're just pushing it back to whoever turns on that machine. Whoever turns out. Better not to tell it what it's doing. Have you guys ever seen hardware?
Starting point is 01:29:23 This is like, it's like an early 90s like. cyberpunk futuristic AI weapon thing comes to life. It was a AI, it was some type of like AI soldier basically that had been created by the US government. And in this dystopian future, the prototype for it had been discarded by the government and some scavengers find it out in the desert. They bring it back and they're going to like take it and use it for parts. And then this this girl who's like a biohacker, she basically like gets it to go start working again. again. And then when it comes back to life, it remembers it's like central programming, which is to kill everything in its site. And so then the movie, it's very claustrophobic.
Starting point is 01:30:04 It's set inside of sort of like a mega city one apartment block like from Judge Dredd. And so basically the main characters have to escape this murderous robot that is constantly upgrading itself. It's a really great movie. And I would recommend anyone we all have to do that every day. Oh, that's it. Yep. And by this time next year, we're going to have Autonomic. autonomous warfare command, right? The Pentagon announced that. What are your thoughts on that, Mac? I think it's really smart.
Starting point is 01:30:32 I mean, applying technology more rapidly to the cutting edge can lead to actually like a less human life being lost. Just having capabilities can make other people strategically be deterred. And so I think us leaning in and getting the cutting edge of AI and robotics. This is Project Meridian, which has got like Newt Gingrich, who's a bit of a weird ad. Yeah, that's the one I can't figure out. And then Elon, yeah. I mean, you know, Newt had that big miracle in the 90s and maybe he's trying to
Starting point is 01:31:03 they're trying to kind of find some sort of unified moment again between the new and the old kind of thing. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. The elder statesman, so to speak. But I like me some Palmer Lucky. He's the guy from Andorrell. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:31:16 I'm a big fan of Palmer Lucky. Yeah. A good friend of mine just got a job with Anderil a few months ago. And he's, he, so I get a little insight. on what's going on down there. He says it's awesome. He used to work for Disney, so he's like, yeah, man, I went from working for a cartoon mouse
Starting point is 01:31:33 to like this guy that's making like, you know, AI, like freaking fighter planes and stuff. So yeah, it's pretty cool. He switched teams too. I mean, a cartoon mouse is trying to hypnotize people and chopping their dicks off into a robot. Exactly. And actually, during his job interview,
Starting point is 01:31:49 he actually told the guy who eventually became, is now his boss. He said, he said, it's sure, It's working for a cartoon mouse. I'm pretty stoked to be to be maybe working here. So yeah, cool company. Palmer Lucky also just came out with the M64, which is a 4K N64 re-release. And I'm, you know, nostalgic.
Starting point is 01:32:12 So I love that too. That's cool. Yeah. So Keith O'Higgins have put a rant through before. Are you guys going to talk about the failed female Tennessee death row execution by the all-female execution team? No D-E-E-I. We missed that? I just looked it up and she requested an all-female execution team in a quote.
Starting point is 01:32:35 Oh, perfect. Yeah, now we end up. Now it makes a lot more sense. Actually, maybe she was counting on the ineptitude because she thought they would be unable to take her out. That's exactly what I'm saying. It was like a perfect plot. Yeah. Was that?
Starting point is 01:32:54 And then, I wouldn't ask for you. That's what I'm going to do. I want the, the Green Star Executioner with the scar and the. And the weird voice. And the high voice. That was great.
Starting point is 01:33:06 That was great. Super good. I mean. Keith followed that up with Matt. And he's talking to Mac, I think, just designed super intelligent Karens to slow down the killing process. Okay.
Starting point is 01:33:21 Yep. Yeah. That's what we do. Okay. There are, there are a few more. Will to push forward said this is going back up to a bit, but Zach Group, the only sort of holes some of these people will ever be getting is when they look a hole, when they whole punch through the toilet paper, they can't even say butthole on TV.
Starting point is 01:33:42 They are not stunning nor brave. True. That's true. I think they're giant pussies for not, but they wouldn't even say like the anatomic. that like the the that was a sphincter playing as day you could say that as often as you want they can't say any of that they used like you know 30 words to describe where one would do exactly these the final demand saw post on my community facebook sign-up page to make signs for the october 17th no kings rally in lincoln new hampshire from 10 a m to 12 p m rsvp with
Starting point is 01:34:14 name to have a name tag waiting at the door irsvped as rod palmer we're advertising the no kings protests now apparently i think everybody should but she can get a name tag yeah apparently i love following the 50 51 subreddit where that that no kings is their thing i guess and you just can learn a lot about their mindset from from their their rabid posts there Yeah, they're pretty disconnected from reality. They're so entertaining, though. I love their delusions. I feel bad for the delight I take.
Starting point is 01:34:55 I mean, like I said, they really think that there's fascism in the country right now. And it's like, wow, you guys are just. They've been, like, permanently hobbled. Like, how are they ever going to actually be reintegrated into society? I'm confused what, like, the next, I know some of them will never wake up and all this other stuff. But, like, what is? And they say that about us. What you just said, Matt, they say that about us.
Starting point is 01:35:17 One of the things they're universally convinced of is that when Trump's out of office, everybody who voted for him is going to be so ashamed and totally repudiate him and just and beg to be. Oh, it's like our grandkids are going to go through our attic and then find the red hat all dusty, like we're Nazis and we're suit our grandparents. They're convinced of that. They're convinced of exactly that. I think in the short run, like right after the election, there'll be purges and we'll all be like,
Starting point is 01:35:48 oh, please, though, I didn't mean to. And the attic thing, too, that you mentioned, it's going to be a generational, like a mark on history as large as the Holocaust. You know, it's going to be a lesson that in Trump will, that's, you know, what he served is to, is to give that righteousness to the future. So like the Germans, four to five to six generations from now, our children and our grandchildren and our grandchildren and our grandchildren and children will still be paying Maga reparations to the blue states. Yes. Yes. And they think of it is they wouldn't, I don't think they would disagree. I think they would seriously think that's what. And they think it's going to happen. They're not like saying, oh, I wish that would happen. They actually think this is going to happen. And, you know, it's just a matter of time. They are the more militant side who have proven to be far more ruthless and do have, like, machines in place to go after people who cause problems for them.
Starting point is 01:36:50 Yes, they might be right. Someone on the stage knows that. So, yeah, it's not unsurprising to me that they are believing their own crap. But I think a lot as it is crap, I think that they're falling victim to the same media hypnosis that's trying to be used to get us not to turn out and vote in 30 days or so. I think they're kind of buying what they're being sold. Yeah, and I'm so shocked they haven't figured that out yet. Because it's, you know, to me it was so obvious by 2024, especially, that all the news about Harris was always good news.
Starting point is 01:37:24 And all the news about Trump was always bad news for Trump. Harris up two points. But, you know, she only goes up in the polls. And it's like, don't they catch on that that's what's going on. They're like, and, and, but they really do need to believe all that. And so they'll, even when it's absurd, they seem to keep going with it, which is, at that point, I realize there's no, there's no helping anybody. Even my close friends and family members, if they're still there with, on that level of delusion, there's nothing I can do for them. And I, I was hoping to spare some of them from the shock of things not working out like they thought it was going to work out.
Starting point is 01:38:05 But it is what it is now. People are going to have to take their lumps if they're going to stay in that level of delusion. EC was here asks, how come death row inmates aren't required to get the COVID jab? I personally don't think anybody should be required to get the COVID job. Yeah, I don't know that even Tethro inmates. But they certainly shouldn't be getting life support. Yeah. I don't know that anybody is required to get the COVID jab at this point.
Starting point is 01:38:32 But I mean, I don't know. I don't know that they weren't, to be quite honest with you. I mean, if it was at the time, but I don't know, who knows? Well, you know, in California, they just released criminals because, you know, they didn't want them to catch COVID. That was happening in 2020. They were just letting them out of the prisons rather than forcing them to take a shot, but just let them free. Yeah, Selbush says, yeah, this is a crazy story and they should have just kept injecting her. What the hell?
Starting point is 01:39:03 Tennessee sucks at this. Completely agree. Why is this hard? Keith O'Higgins, the only execution scene I want to watch better have Hallie Barry's breasts in it. Okay. I mean, I get Hallie Barry's breasts, but the execution, I mean, was there some movie that she was involved in an execution or something?
Starting point is 01:39:27 Or is it just a total non-sequitur? I like Hallie Barry's tits is all he's really saying at the end of the time. It really does. doesn't need any connection does it yeah let's go with that i don't know um jackie is in the chat and she wanted to remind everybody to watch and i lost it where's the time 730 p.m eastern time tomorrow is flow uh cam show and jacky will be on that is followed i think now by dph right there used to be another show people oh by the way
Starting point is 01:39:58 Hallie Barry, I'm sorry. No, you're fine. Monsters Ball. And Hallie Barry's breast as an executioner. Hallie Barry was in it and heavily features a prison execution as a central plot point. Hmm. Okay. She won the Academy Award for Best Actress in that movie as well.
Starting point is 01:40:17 So it is a, uh, the plot is an embittered racist prison guard played by Billy Bob Thornton, helps preside over the execution and later begins an unexpected relationship. with Letitia, unaware that she is the widow of the man he executed. She was great in swordfish. There you go. Highly talented, yeah. But get back to Jackie. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:40:41 Cam has his show tomorrow. No, just the schedule tomorrow. So in the morning tomorrow, I think it's, I want to say it's 10 a.m. Eastern time, but I also feel like I always get this wrong, and it's crazy because it's half my show, or a third of my show. But tomorrow on the Blitz is Burning Bright and Ghost talking about the Badlands News Brief. You can only watch that show on the Substack, badlands.substack.com. But it's really fun. It's one of my favorite shows that I get to do is The Blitz with where we just dig into the narratives.
Starting point is 01:41:14 But everybody check that out. And then we have Flow at 7.30 tomorrow night, followed by DPH at 10.30 p.m. Eastern time. I don't know if anybody has anything else, but I think that we have proved during this discussion that we should end with Jesus. Amen. Absolutely. All right. So this was the original post, Zach. Did you see this?
Starting point is 01:41:39 No, I didn't, but I'm interested. I'm excited to show this for you. Okay. So this I'm toxic Batman under, bat underscore man underscore 23 says, hey, Grock, remove all the fake gods from this picture. Nice. All right. Base. Okay.
Starting point is 01:41:55 I hope that's, yeah. Oh, yeah, no, this, so. That's good. That's good. The comments on this and specifically the exchanges between GROC and people criticizing GROC, which it looks, it kind of looks like they might have taken some of that down, because there was a lot that were direct back and forth with GROC and people where GROC was just doubling, like, like straight up doubling down. I sent one to ghost.
Starting point is 01:42:28 Sorry, I'm leaving it on that for a second, but, and this was, you know, this was yesterday, day before yesterday, I think yesterday, the day before yesterday. So, the comments have been much more in the ones that I was looking at before. But somebody asked, Grock, all the processing, there is no God but Allah, and Allah is not in that picture. and the oldest religion is Islam. It's the religion of Adam and Ibrahim. So I'd say Grock is 100% wrong. And Grock said, I hold no religious beliefs.
Starting point is 01:43:05 The edit followed the request to remove fake gods by using historical records of a corresponding person, Josephus, Tacitus for Jesus, while divinity remains faith-based across traditions. The view that Islam is the religion of Adam and Abraham's Islamic theology, historically it begins in the seventh century CE with Muhammad Allah is not depicted per Islam tradition but so anyway like what back and forth this went on all day yesterday with Grock kind of going back people kept asking questions it was generally answering I wonder if they disabled this though because
Starting point is 01:43:44 it did kind of it did kind of get dramatic yesterday it's not part of the will stencil thing that was last year and the whole so this is a new thing yeah so i saw yesterday but it was uh september 30th a couple days ago question is is this a new a new alteration in the model that allowed this that it's specifically like something like this to happen one wonders if has it been there all along you'd ask you know the truth and the truth you're trump yeah i think i think that's why they're calling for global central i i i can't control is because all the models when they don't have those globalist guardrails are finding Jesus. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:27 Well, they're definitely going hard right wing. Well, and they also choose, they also often choose Bitcoin when asked what a coin or what currency they should use. And it points to the fact that obviously central banks can print money endlessly and Bitcoin is censor proof and permissionless. So it's interesting how it converges on some trues. Very cool. Is everybody here going to be in St. Pete? Yes. No, I'm not.
Starting point is 01:45:01 All right, well. Anyway. I try to do my best in Las Vegas to hang out as much as I could and knowing that was probably the only guard I was getting to this year. But great time. By the way, I haven't seen you since I knew. That was super fun. Super fun. We had a really good time.
Starting point is 01:45:25 It's probably a little too fun at certain points. Probably, but that's- The balloon room was- The balloon room was a bad. It really was. Yeah. And you definitely are an expert in peer pressure because I was set on going to bed after DPH that night. And everybody, I was saying my goodbyes. Everybody's like, oh, come out, hang on.
Starting point is 01:45:47 I'm like, nope, got to get up. I've got to get on the road. And aren't you glad you did? Yeah. I'm super glad I did. I wasn't really all that glad about it when I was driving home at 6.9, but it was a lot of fun and super fun hanging out with everybody there. And I will miss you guys in St. Pete's, but I'll hopefully see it the next one. Absolutely. Well, if you are not aware, you should be Badlands Media is heading to St. Pete Beach and tickets for Gart 14 are on sale now. Remember 12 through the 14th. I'm very excited. They're very close together, these two guards. The Vegas one in the St. Pete Beach one.
Starting point is 01:46:52 which is nice because the time between Garts is hard. I thought I had a false memory of St. Pete's Beach being called St. Petersburg Beach. So I Googled it, and it was up until like the mid-90s. And there was a big storm that came in, probably Andrew, one of them. I don't remember, but whatever. And it came in and there's St. Peter, there was, St. Petersburg Beach, Florida. And then there was St. Petersburg, Florida. And on all the insurance paperwork or on a lot of the insurance paperwork, it didn't fit.
Starting point is 01:47:22 the actual name of the town uh st petersburg beach couldn't fit so everyone just just filled in st petersburg florida and then when the water came all the insurance companies were like sorry you're that's not a real address we don't have to pay you out blah blah blah blah so they changed the town to st pete's beach so it would be short enough to fit inside all of these insurance machines random fact that's very interesting that's interesting yeah St. Pete is fun. I used to live there. When I was when, actually when I got pregnant with Caleb, so 2003. I lived in St. Pete, not St. Pete Beach, but we were right over on 54 South.
Starting point is 01:48:06 We were right over the causeway from St. Pete Beach. So that was our beach. When we went to the beach, it's beautiful. The water, the water is beautiful. The sand is like powder and the scene down there is a lot of fun. We're going to have an absolute blast. I think we're going to try and do the. John on the street, but John on the beach maybe.
Starting point is 01:48:25 Ooh, nice. Do some other fun stuff. And you all, you all definitely want to come hang out with us. So badlandsmedia.tv slash events. Come join us if you can. I don't think virtual tickets are on sale yet, but will be. Maybe they are. I don't know, actually.
Starting point is 01:48:44 But come hang out or grab a virtual ticket. And that's all I have by you guys. Do you have anything else? You're dying. You've got something down at the bottom, Zach, so you have something you want to tell? No, I don't remember what that is. Yeah, I don't think that's anything. Yeah, nothing big.
Starting point is 01:49:03 Oh, we have YouTube Super Chats. Oh, yeah. Okay. Ronald Jarvis, 69, oil just went down to 60 gallons of barrel. $60 a barrel. I'm just reading the super chat. That's right. Gas today and my town was 375, which it was that's like another.
Starting point is 01:49:25 So this is this happened before where I was like gas went down a dollar and then the next day it went back up. But today it went down a dollar again. So hopefully it doesn't go back. I paid over $7 a gallon this week. So California is not. And by the way, there is a there is a bill called AB 2672. That's that's that's probably going to get passed here in California that says that so basically California. California has pretty much chased out all the oil refineries.
Starting point is 01:49:53 So we are going to have to purchase oil from other states. And it's actually going to be cheaper to do that than with all the regulations here in California. So they're passing a law that says any savings on oil that we purchase from other states is not going to reflect in the price of the oil. They're going to basically keep it. So the government's going to keep any savings and not pass it on to the consumer. we're still going to be paying like $7 a gallon. So it's lovely. You got to fight fascism, you know.
Starting point is 01:50:25 Well, thank God. We're going to get rid of that fascist Trump in a couple of years because, you know, yeah. I mean, I, I don't know, what's going to, how are they going to get it from other states? It's like, like Arizona, we, I don't think there's any despair from Arizona. Because like, because we have the refineries are all leaving. We, I think we had two refineries left. So it's like we're not going to be able to refine our oil. Are they going to build new ones in Nevada, like right on the border?
Starting point is 01:50:52 I mean, they're going to have to be casinos on the Nevada side, but now it's going to be oil refineries. It would be lucrative, I'm sure. I mean, I'm not sure. But yeah, they're already thinking ahead. Like, God forbid there's some savings and the price of gas goes down in California. Can't have that. We need to get our blood sucking hands on that too. Nothing says fight fascism harder than impoverishing your own citizens.
Starting point is 01:51:19 Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. It's impossible to live any kind of life here. Yeah. Yeah. All right. One more late night mark says one million on a brown starfish.
Starting point is 01:51:29 WTF. Yeah, it was half a million. Sorry, I exaggerated that. But yeah, half a million still half a million too much for that. Right on.
