Badlands Media - SITREP Ep. 162: War Stories, Combat Footage, and Neighborhood Trolling

Episode Date: July 31, 2026

CannCon and Alpha Warrior kick back for a looser, laid off the news desk kind of night, and it shows. Alpha opens with an update on his one man trolling campaign of a neighborhood app politics forum, ...then the guys trade Marine and Army deployment stories side by side, comparing wide open Afghanistan firefights to close quarters Iraq combat. Along the way they react to a stack of combat footage, from anti drone gun mishaps to a very concerning candy bar, and swap plenty of dark humor about boot camp, drill instructors, and the joys of base gate security. There is also a surprise BBQ rub business update from the home front. It is part war story night, part buddy comedy, and a reminder that these two never really left the fight, they just talk about it now with better coffee.

You lost all credibility with Patriots. There's no win for you here. I responded back with Jeff, who's your president? Say his name, bitch. Say his name. So, God, you know what I feel? Here's one of the posts, right? I don't know if you'll be able to see the text, but I'll read it. This is all I did.
Starting point is 00:05:04 I did an image with one sentence, right? Okay. The American flag, and I just put, make America great again. Nancy Shug out of Indian Wells says, disgusting. Yes, you. It's the flag. It's the flag. These people are nuts.
Starting point is 00:05:25 All right, Badlanders. You guys are all familiar with loaded gun coffee. They've been longtime supporters here at Badlands. Starting point is 00:06:21 Promocode Badlands and stay loaded with loaded gun coffee. You can check them out on episode 12 of America First Stories. Absolutely love my loaded gun coffee addicted to the sea salt and caramel. Absolutely addicted to it. Good stuff, baby. Yeah. There's like a four-day layover. from when I run out to when I get my next my replacement order in so I have like a bag of like crappy store coffee dude I have the same thing I have my backups that are like me me it's it might as well be MRE instant coffee yeah exactly it might as well be like like down the down the street diner coffee hey whoa whoa whoa whoa you're not
Starting point is 00:07:11 dissing diner coffee. I am dissing diner coffee. Some of the best coffee in the world's diner coffee, man. You are out of your freaking mind. You are out of your mind. I disavow that statement so much. You are nuts, bro. You are
Starting point is 00:07:27 out of your mind. In an old Mr. Coffee Pot that's been there for 12 fucking hours on this. Nope. Warm. Hot warm. Hot warm. Hot warm. It's the past, bro.
Starting point is 00:07:41 the beat for way too long you're like stale coffee my no see this this is the problem with you east coast marines man some bougie motherfuckers bro who we just have taste buds because we're used to eat good not shit coffee listen listen all the west coast marines the real marines diner coffee we're like get some bro bougie ass you are you're east coast marines man see that's the shit i'm talking about they call us hollywood but they're the boozy ones You know, I'm really excited right now because when I went downstairs while the intro was playing, I grabbed my glass of wine.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I ran downstairs and you know what my wife is doing right now? What's that? She is, she is starting our new endeavor, our new adventure. We have a new business adventure. I've been talking about it for a long time. I've been interested. Got me, got my attention. So I've talked before when we started doing Ychromes, when we were.
Starting point is 00:08:41 doing smoking with my cromies started talking about uh this rub that i used to get from this company that's like the best rub i've ever had my entire life i've i put it on everything and they stopped making it completely just cold turkey stopped making it and as soon as i realized that they weren't making it anymore i bought like five can jars of it right and when you're when you're smoking meats you go through jars of rubs pretty quick like you know one jar will last like two two briskets maybe some boozy ass people in the audience no you they're they just know what's up man guys are just diner coffee and gas station coffee aren't the same you guys understand that right i'm not talking gas station coffee's awful yeah yeah it's it's it's like it's like they got
Starting point is 00:09:30 the pumps hooked up to the coffee maker yeah screw that and they've never i want to hear you i want to hear your story is this man soft-ass audience soft so so and Anyways, we took one of the labels and I took all the list of ingredients and we're reverse engineering it. And she's downstairs right now with all of the ingredients experimenting to try and get this right. And then once we get it right to where we like it, doesn't have to match what the original is. But once we get to where we like it, we're going to mass produce it.
Starting point is 00:10:01 And that will start step one, phase one of our new endeavor. And I don't know what we're going to call it yet. we don't even have names and all that is it is it spicy is it more salt like like where we're it's smoked it's smoked jalapeno and smoked onion but tallapeno i like i like that but it's not spicy it's not there's no seed seeds so it's hallelujah flavor yeah it's like honestly it's the best a colonel towner had it when she was over here i made her and her husband's steaks uh she said best best stakes she's ever had. I have, you know, several people I've had over that are, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:46 I don't want to say boozy people, but, you know, they have a high bar, right? They'll tell me if I suck and I've never had somebody walk out of my house after giving them a fillet with, with that stuff on it and be like, that was not good or that wasn't the best steak I've ever had. And so we're finally doing it. And I'm excited, man. I'm really, I'm really excited when we get done with the show to go down there and see what she has created. I'm so excited. I'm so curious for that. Smaise, Smae says you read what I put alpha. So I went back to find it. He says, you can drink anything you want,
Starting point is 00:11:20 even the ones you don't like because you need a drink emergency. Well, yeah. I don't know about all that. Let's see. Well, smash that thumbs up. If you have not done so yet, ladies and gentlemen, uh, gonna be kind of a laid back show. We did not have a show last week because,
Starting point is 00:11:39 Alpha is, Alpha is the big man and Alpha Jr. He's going to go off to higher learning, hopefully not to be indoctrinated and come back a whole. Now, he's, he's, he's a hell of a lot smarter than his dad. I'll tell you that much. Put it this way. The kid, he's going to be able to finish in, in three years because of all the courses that he took while he was in high school that he already got credit for.
Starting point is 00:12:09 So, yeah, so he's, for those that don't know, he's, he's going to be an attorney. Oh, geez. Well, you know what? We could use some based attorneys. We can use some based ones. So he's going to use that fourth year. I guess there's a certain, like, classes that you can take that studies for whatever that attorney test is called.
Starting point is 00:12:31 I don't know if it's the bar or something before the bar, but he's going to use that year to take those classes to really do good on that test. so heck yeah all right so uh i got a i i've been storing so for those of you that watch ycrimes we you know we talk a little bit serious like maybe like a tenth of the time maybe like a 15th of the time we talk serious so glad the soccer shit's oh hey i you know next week is the last show before football is back so how's that man next month tired up man we got to do the draft man we got to get on john about putting fantasy draft together. Oh shit. Yeah. We got to do that before preseason starts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Al sat. There you go, Alanor. Thank you. Oh, yeah. The L set. Yeah. Um, so, so on this show, again, smash that thumb if you have not done so. I've got a bunch of like little military related videos that I, I don't play on Ychromes because I feel like it's not appropriate for YCromes. I feel like it's more a you and me kind of thing, you know, if that, that sounds kind of gay. It sounds like, pretty gay that is incredibly gay but uh here's some videos that have just been stockpiling over the last couple weeks and i know almost everybody's seen this one by now can i read one more comment yeah i want to give updates of this show bro because this is this is like we're going to change this the name of this show to alpha reads the chat this is the the one with the flag right the the the mag one and terence are
Starting point is 00:14:08 out of Sun City, Shadow Hill says, this explains your anti-vax madness. And so a patriot responds back, right? Because this is a good thing. I'm finding the patriots in the community, right? He goes, Terrence, we are all looking pretty good now with the medical issues arising from the untested vax. And then I responded with
Starting point is 00:14:29 Terrence. Wasn't I supposed to not survive COVID if I didn't take the bioweapon? Laughing emoji. I'd be like my wife, my kids, my, my mom my dad well and my whole family we're all still here we're all still here bro people are people are triggered all right so check this shit out man this is uh this is some russian hardware right have you seen this video no oh my god why don't i'm trying to figure what that is it's it's like a mini gun it's an anti aircraft like mini gun i think it's like for anti-drone type stuff but dude the guy behind him here dude he is he is what's up man he knows what's
Starting point is 00:15:12 going on check this out bro is that is that a i or is that legit no that's legit watch let me put in slow-mo watch watch he's like oh shit let go the fucking trigger bro he is like a split second away from getting decapitated by like, I don't know, a thousand rounds. That's, I mean, like, that's insane. Dude, pause it right, right at the moment where he ducks, do we got to see how close this game, dude. That is what. Okay, that's where he starts ducking.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Dude. I bet you'd burn the hairs on top of this. Hell yeah. Look at that, dude. and the guy on the gun he's just getting he's just getting bodied right out of there over the top turnbuckle
Starting point is 00:16:39 not a good day man I don't think that that gun passed muster that's like some Marine Corps working party shit right there dude that's that's some you know we we we lost that soldier last week the controlled debt one
Starting point is 00:17:01 and I'm looking at that and I'm like what happened there because I don't know if you've ever done controlled debts i'm sure you have not me well you you were never like security for one or anything like that oh we that we did a lot but i mean we're always at a at a pretty good distance yeah but that's what i'm saying like distance when we did control debts like we were never anywhere near the explosion like even our eOD guys were never anywhere near the explosion and so you know i still haven't gotten any clarification as to what happened,
Starting point is 00:17:36 whether it was, because they said it was one of these one-way Iranian drones, and whether it was the drone blew up on its own, like it was designed to do that to know when it's being tested, kind of like our voting machines, to know when it's being tested and act the way it's supposed to act when it's being tested, or if it was just like a mishap, a training mishap, in the way that they did it. Either way, it's very concerning.
Starting point is 00:18:04 I mean, maybe he wasn't far enough back in like a piece of shrapnel or something clocked them. I don't know. I'm not even familiar with this story. Oh, yeah. So, you know, on the four soldiers that we lost last week, three of them were hit by a ballistic missile. One of them was killed in a controlled debt of an Iranian drone that crashed into their base. And, you know, one of those one-way drones, and it was a dud. And so they, you know, they went to go do a controlled debt on it.
Starting point is 00:18:34 And again, they say it was during the controlled debt. So I don't know, maybe they had to recover it and it blew up when they recovered it. Who knows? But, you know, like when we did controlled debts, man, like you put C4 on it. And then you'd run debt court or a clacker. And, you know, you'd be way the bleep away before anybody would detonate it. And, you know, fire in the hole, fire in the hole. everybody responds you know letting everybody know that we're controlled debt three mic you know and okay two
Starting point is 00:19:05 minutes okay one minute 10 nine like there's a like there's a process to it it's not like you're just like okay let's in the beginning ours was a little bit you got remember we were on the LABs yeah so we had the 25 millimeter mic mic you know so when you found something you know vehicles out of distance is boom boom boom boom you know you hit it you know but But remember, we didn't have the fear of the daisy chains. That sophistication came because there's no way they would do that now because you're going to trigger that one and you don't realize the ones that are, you know, so they kind of adjusted that. But we did some like towards the tail in like when it was more into the policing operations where you'd go out there and we had vehicles that, you know, post on security and they'd go do it. But man, it just seemed like we're so far from it.
Starting point is 00:19:55 The one time that we're too close, I think I shared that story was when we were, uh, what was. wasn't a controlled debt. It was just getting rid of logistics. And there was one. You don't want to bring them back. People don't understand that. You, when you go out to these ranges and stuff, you don't want to come back with extra gear. Get rid of some type of thermal beric, thermal barrack missile. We were way too close, bro. Way too close. The best way to describe is you felt like, you felt like he had a sunburn all over the front of your body. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Yeah. We would have to do that because, you know, shooting mortars, we would have to do that with, um, well, what's wrong with my sound effects? Larry says, alpha, repeat those sound effects, 25 millimeter cannon. That's how it sounds. Yeah. Maybe the microphone's not doing it justice. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Yeah, that's, I'm going to go find one. I'm going to go find one and we're going to gauge my accuracy. All right. While you're doing that, you'll, check i don't need to put the volume on for this because it's like in ukrainian or russian or something but dude i'm so glad we never had to deal with this kind of shit when we were at war look at this dude talk about some clandestine operational freaking tom foolery look at this look at this chocolate bar sealed chocolate bar like a kit cat kind of looking thing got the nugget and the
Starting point is 00:21:22 you know the layers look at that shit fucking pressure plate in it pressure plate with c4 bite into that and boom blows up your whole head pro that's talk about some effed up crap right there look he takes it out of the rapper too man like he opens the rapper like they sold that shit like that i'm so glad that we don't have to fight he kind of handle that really comfortable i would have been in one of the big old ely things dude I want to be in freaking pretty much civvies cutting into that shit what if you dude that guys that listen man those that's why those guys are the experts in what they do no that's the problem they're not experts that dude right there has no formal training in that whatsoever somebody
Starting point is 00:22:21 was like hey I think they're lacing these candy bars with bombs and they're like oh let me check it out and he opens it up and he's like hmm how would we find out well I'm just going to take my knife and I'm just going to cut along here he ain't training all that maybe he is he could be he could be but chances are he's just like fuck it yolo worst thing that could happen I blow up one of my hands and I get to go home from this shit hole did you find the video I think I'll get it out right there we go let me copy this link telling you you're spot on bro I I I maybe I know I wonder we I wonder if you hear me different what to listen to the maybe maybe all right let me put this into the bro the bro.
Starting point is 00:23:01 where you guys can actually hear it now. I will say the bad thing is, is like they're going to hear it different than the video because Streamyard has the worst audio translation. Like you'd have to turn off all. You know what? Hold on. Then let me do this. I can down it's only a two minute video.
Starting point is 00:23:19 I can download it real quick. That way we get some quality because I'm proud of these things. These are the things that I wrote in the back end and was a backup driver for. So you know I qualify for that diesel driver program. the diesel driver program oh like the the cdl truck driver yes bro are you gonna be a truck driver i'll dude you want to drive dude when you get the florida i know i qualify let's do it bro let's do it i have my my my driving uh license thing whatever that that that uh i don't have the mOS but listen they put us in the course to get a certified and we drove them out there even
Starting point is 00:23:56 one of my one of my commendations is for that let's let's let's get our cdls together and we'll drive I've, we'll get like a nice, like, I don't know, we'll get like a nice Peterbelt or something with like a nice bunk area. We'll get like a dual bunk. So we each have our own because, you know, I don't, I don't want to be sleeping in your, your, your, your stink. You know, my shit's clean. The other way around. I know how OCD you are. Alpha, be like, I just slept in these.
Starting point is 00:24:22 I got to wash him. I'm like, bro, you just washed them before that last night. I know, I got, I just slept in them. I got to wash him. but dude we could set up a studio in the back and like we could do all of our shows from the road and we just star link it we'll put the star link on the roof of the truck you know it's being so bad and i just want to drive on the freeway so i can find every little kid that's like hell yeah dude and then we got to put that thing from uh sebester stalone to work out while we're
Starting point is 00:24:51 driving the only thing is is the Florida it would not be the best place to be housed like based at Florida is the most boring drive ever getting out of the state. It's a fucking straight line and it's all flat and it's all the same view and the traffic blows like the whole state traffic blows. So we'd like maybe like go to Tennessee. Like let's go to Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:25:19 We relocate the fam to Tennessee. We'll let the wives, you know, to Tennessee. Yeah, we'll let them hang out while we're out on the road. And that's what we'll do. We'll be truckers. Truckers, dude. We'll be truckers, man.
Starting point is 00:25:33 I'll slow down for that. I want to, dude. I so. That's a good life right there, man. Just traveling. In 2023, when Trump started to do his, his MAGA rallies, I told my wife, I was like, man, do you know, like, we could, we could sell our house when the market was booming down here in Florida, right? Everybody was moving down to Florida.
Starting point is 00:25:55 I could have gotten like 700,000 from my home. I bought it for 250. For 250. I could have made like 400,000 after all the fees and everything, like 380. I could have taken that 380, put it in my pocket, bought a nice ass RV, followed the Trump rallies across the country, done shows, done like, you know, all the, all the, you know, live from the rally type interviews. Could have had a booming channel on Rumble.
Starting point is 00:26:24 YouTube I was still banned, but could have had a booming channel on Rumble. Could have a great thing going. And then when the market collapses, I'd have all this money saved up and I'd be able to buy a beautiful house cash for pennies on the dollar. And I fucked it all up. Dude, we would have inside the truck. It would have Canon Alpha, right? Canon Alpha trucking, dude. And check this out.
Starting point is 00:26:45 By day or night, we're Canon Alpha. But covertly, where the vigilante weird old stomper's, bro. People are just going to find out about freaks that got their asses at truck stops and were handcuffed like that. And the vigilante truck drivers went and uncovered another trafficking sting, but they can't be beating people up like that. Bro, we would be at truck stops with like baseball bats, like the stubby baseball bats. Just like, all right, let's go, brother. Oh, man. We'd be punching people in the face and it would sound like this.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Bring up the video. Here we go. All right, here we go. Top is 240. Go back about 20 seconds. Before that, right, right about here. That rate of fire right there is way faster. Oh, I can move it too.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Oh, there you go. Okay, so that was the 240. That was the 240. That's a 240. What was that? That was like a fucking mini. That's the little gun that's on there. I don't think it's a Sala.
Starting point is 00:29:04 I think it's a I want to say that was a 766 so 7 622 bro that thing was like on that thing was was significantly faster than I'm trying to remember off the off the look it up because I know the V the V2 shooting in 240 and then I know you got the main gun is the 25 millimeter bushmaster and then you had the little one next to it but I want to say that was a 76 2 2 I don't remember that being a saw marine in the woods is 30 millimeter I could see now No, not 30. No, no.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Like a mini 30. I could see it being like a, a mini 30, like a 762 like a mini gun. But, but not a 30 millimeter. That thing, that thing's something small. Look, ladies and gentlemen. I wrote it in the back popped out or I got the drive and an actual drive. And I can get to shoot these. When you, when you play like battlefield and stuff, do you like run straight?
Starting point is 00:30:04 to the vehicles i do bro i do me too i do oh yeah i'm like i'm like first thing i run to is the bmp because you can sit there and just like some some some some some some some some some reload you switch over to the toe you shoot a toe or you shoot you know whatever your backup is and then you go right back after the reload so some some some some some some then you shoot the toe that's me man i'm a i'm a son of a bitch moving and gunning oh yeah i'll rack up bodies i'll rack up bodies with that um so you you know how alpha you and i always kind of we we like they don't understand this right we talked about this on only lands a couple weeks ago when we were on the the whole like gayish thing so so here's the thing and i didn't this didn't hit me until i saw this video and i was like
Starting point is 00:30:55 no shit no the co that's the coax and it's a seven six two wow that thing that that rap that that rate of fire was way faster than any of the other 240s we heard throughout that video way faster uh essentially it's it's it's called the coax gun but essentially it's a fucking modified 240 is what it looks like yeah let me bring up the image significantly faster probably all right so it's geez pause on that verbiage about the gayish in the military because i think i think we got fucked in the infantry, dude. Not like literally, like metaphorically. I think we got screwed. I should have said screwed. I think we got screwed in the infantry. What in the, dude, that's two barrels. That's why.
Starting point is 00:31:45 No, it's not two barrels. It's one barrel. What is that on the left and right of it? Is it just something that's like mounted? Oh, it's just, it's just, it's just, it's just, it's pulled it out. That's all it is. Because it's, uh, let me see if you guys can. I'm telling you. you man that would that in an image you guys can see it better whatever that was shooting that that was faster that was faster uh there it is you can see it there you see it right right off between the smoke the smoke shooters yeah okay so it's like there's the coaxel yeah so it's like a buffer to keep it from going whatever and for those curious those little canisters on the on the side right there that look like little cylinders uh that they pop smoke for the vehicle yeah it's actually pretty cool pretty
Starting point is 00:32:30 cool. Your defensive maneuvers right there. Sometimes when we dismount, shit's crazy, the pop smoke for us. So Alpha, this is why only, I'm taking away all the gayish from anybody that's not in the infantry or better, you know, a victory unit. So infantry, special forces, and that's pretty much it. So check this shit out. Kind of wish I was a Pogue.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Fuck, yeah, right on it. Oh, yeah. Oh, bro. That sweaty, nasty cheeks right there. Watch that again. Fuck it. I mean, I mean, bro, you know how those candy stink, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:22 The dude just embraces it. He's like, fuck it. I'm like, dude. Poor guy's going to have pink eye and shit. shit and look at the first aren't over here he's like oh my god company first aren't over there like oh man he's either gonna get he's either gonna have to do uh sexual harassment training or he's gonna have to do a medical a medical shit for the guy that's gonna have pink eye bro he's gonna have his bore punched doc's gonna be like why are you getting your bore punched you go out in town and
Starting point is 00:33:57 sleep of the hooker he's like no uh Sorry, Lance Corporal So and so was in front of me in the human caterpillar. He's screwed no matter what, dude. And look at the, look at the tanker guy here. So for those that don't know, when you're wearing that uniform right there, it usually means that you're like in motor tea. Some type of like crew. Crew, right. Yeah, crew thing.
Starting point is 00:34:21 You're not a, you're not a ground pounder, you know. And where that. If you can get your. If you can get your hands on one, best day. uniform and Terry bro I got two of them I got two of them bad boys yeah so we'll do it one more time Just so you guys know oh go right on it oh yeah He went he goes up he goes that poor guy dude he's gonna Look at they're gonna make fun of him so he's got to do with that and then he got dude stank ass bro
Starting point is 00:34:57 just listen if you guys don't know camys they don't breathe okay they don't breathe well i don't know about the new digital shit right but but the old camys they don't breathe so you want to talk about funk it's funk folks it's i'll tell you i'll tell you what's worse is not only do they not breathe they have a tendency and i know they did this with your camys yours were different than mine but i know they did this with yours. They have a tendency to come apart at the crotch seams. Yep. Like they make holes like right there where all of the materials meet right below your, you know, your, your, your balls, all right? Right below there. There's a hole there. No matter what you do in your camys, there's a hole there. And his nose was smack dab in that hole.
Starting point is 00:35:48 Now, the question is, was she wearing, was she wearing, uh, ranger panties or, uh, was she wearing, like like uh skivies or was she wearing just normal underwear. Don't matter. It's going to be nasty no matter what, bro. It's going to be nasty no matter what, dude. That's, oh, it's better than a guy though. No one's going to argue that point, though. Stank is stank, dude.
Starting point is 00:36:14 But, but, but now, at least now people are understanding where gayish comes from when we talk about this. Like, this is shit that we had to do. like we could not not do this you don't get to say no oh yeah so just you know here is no right there is no sir i don't want to put my face in their ass or my my chin on their balls there there is none of that you're you're you're not going to do that you just do it do you remember the first time you got on one of the big birds uh they made you sit oh yeah well uh well yeah so the first time that we that we wrote on one we get in there and i don't know what the you know when you go into like a restaurant and this is max occupancy right well i know we broke them fucking rules bro because there was way more marines
Starting point is 00:37:03 than than should have been on this plane but we get on the plane it's called nuts to butts yeah oh yeah just so you guys know it's called nuts to butts you sit down there right and you open your legs and another man right gets in front of you and he has to scoot back and you guys leave distance between each other right but then more guys get on the plane so they're like they look at air but and they're like let's go marines nuts to butts so then you know he kind of backs up just a little bit right because you're both no one's comfortable here right and they look at you like nuts to butts so by a time it's all said and done right it's it's it's it's it's gayish it's it's gay it's really gay it's really it's gay it's gay it's gay it's gay it's gay it's gay it's gay
Starting point is 00:37:50 It's it's pretty gay now if you're if you're in a you know a POG unit supply logistics something like that and you get you know that the the wookie that's what they call them the the look I we I just if we have any female Marines in the chat I just pissed them off I just I just pissed them off. Do female Marines get mad like is that like a racial slur is that like the N word for female Marines? Well, I mean, I was part of a man's platoon, so we didn't work with, we didn't work with females. Exactly. So they shouldn't be in the military, bro. Are there any female Marines in the chat? Like, is that, is that like the N-word calling?
Starting point is 00:38:35 Let me fix my statement. They shouldn't be in a combat element of the Marine Corps or the military. Not in the Marine Corps, military. I'm very curious if we have any female Marines. I'm very curious about that. because that just like slid out way too easily like that just rolled right off the tongue i'm trying to remember what we called them we didn't call them that i don't remember that term w m marine in the woods i know exactly what w m stands for i'm not going to say that one that one's pretty that
Starting point is 00:39:09 one's pretty crude you can you can type it what marine in the woods if you want to but it has to do with um a uh a walking and we'll just leave that at that you know what wm stands all right i never i never i'll put it i'll put it in the private chat yeah we we just called w n's for women marines see it oh yeah i do remember that okay so you remember okay i don't remember the there was a term and it was derogatory but it wasn't that one's pretty bad yeah but it was there was another one because i remember her because we we didn't really the only time we got counseled or not even counseled the what they call them the advisories or whatever was when we're going on to an army base and they'd be like hey marines you know there's uh you'd be in the presence of
Starting point is 00:40:08 females and the army you know like just just you know just be careful and it wasn't because they didn't give a shit about us offending them they just wanted us to be able to come back to the base you know um but do we we were we were fucking pirates dude pretty much when we when we were out there because do we we smell like as bro you know we we were unshven you know what i mean and not because we're s o f it just fucking you didn't have access to water and shit you know i mean you had access to water a drink but you weren't using it to shave your face right you couldn't and and you can't you couldn't get razors you know fresh enough you'd be shaving with a razor for like three months and by the when you did it wasn't like these mock three ones it was the single single blade
Starting point is 00:40:56 White ones with the what I remember white with the freaking orange thing right across the top. That was it Bick. I think. Oh, you got lucky you got I got the blue ones with the single blade and that was it. No like just hard plastic one piece just disposable razor one piece and throw it away. Like prison, you get better razors than that. In boot camp we got better razors. In boot camp we got Gillette mock threes on deployment.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Fuck no. Hell no. And the only time we had to shave though fortunately was when we had higher ups coming on the base. no exaggeration I swear I mean it's gross so it's not like I'd be making it up for any other reason the first time that we got permission to take off the mop suits
Starting point is 00:41:36 and I took off my boots and my socks dude those things could stand on their own bro oh yeah and you know me like when it comes to like boogey and hygiene you know what I mean so I was like that was that was more horrific than the gun fights for me bro like I was just
Starting point is 00:41:56 No. No, not, not my ground pounders. Not my ground pounders. I, so I am so fortunate in Afghanistan. We didn't have to deal with mop suits at all, at all. I thought you guys would have, because not at all, maybe, maybe not when you went, but the first guys probably did. Yeah, and I think by then they realized, like, there is no chemical warfare. Like, we're fighting drug lords. Like, you might get a contact high, but that's about it. We had to do gas masks, but that was it. I told you the story where we're sitting there and we got the alert and you're sitting there and you're holding the shots. And you're just like, you're just waiting, right? And you're just kind of like, are we going to fucking do?
Starting point is 00:42:37 Like, I'm really going to inject myself with this. And then, I don't know if you guys are like this, but you're just like, you know, the things are numbered, right? And you're like, yeah, I didn't play a prank on someone and they got me back, right? Like, this is first, this is second. You know, you're looking to see if the stickers don't show the little head here. like it was moved because you know marines were kind of stupid when it comes to like not knowing what going too far is going too far is just the hag it's like i kind of miss it bro is that's weird huh well you're gonna you're gonna miss it a lot more now so i'm gonna play you guys uh three videos here from this fantastic company online called combat cloth they have some of the best videos that i've seen so far yes j atropine was one of them We're going to play you guys a couple videos here. The first one is, and Alpha hasn't seen it yet,
Starting point is 00:43:33 but I'm going to go out on a limb and say, so everybody always thinks that like Iraq and Afghanistan, like we saw the same shit. We did not in any way, shape, or form see the same shit. Like he was more like a lot more CQB, urban environments, you know, buildings. I was like wide open out in the middle of nowhere. You could come around a corner and somebody would be in a field taking shots at you. And you, you know, you're laying behind a wadi wall for cover.
Starting point is 00:43:59 And Alpha would be like, let's kick in the door in that place and take that house and then fight them from that house. Like that. I find your guys is, in my opinion, I find your guys is way more scary, bro. See, I, mine. From my perspective, it's, you know, when we're going through, you know, Mount, you know, the urban shit. It's when you go to pop out to surprise us, we got a pretty much almost equal chance to get back. at you for you guys like these motherfuckers are a distance line in weight bro i know yeah you know know like that that's i don't know man uh just the open terrain shit i just i didn't even i didn't
Starting point is 00:44:37 even like the open terrain in iraq so so here's alpah's video and we had to play we this is why we're not on youtube tonight because uh combat cloth the company here they put uh audio behind it and i just can't i don't want to get us kicked off but i couldn't not play these videos they're fantastic i don't hear nothing just you know I'm approaching her so loud now. Some of the day. That's real. You know, so many,
Starting point is 00:45:37 she's on turning. You, but keep on turn. And I, you're going to be done. some good some good shit and just for the audience it's like well those are women no listen they didn't get the fuck out the way and and they do that to make their guy get the drop on you so don't don't don't for anybody that's feeling like like no it's it's completely different environment as dude so that's one of the first videos i've seen that actually has shown like
Starting point is 00:46:45 the no shit like getting in their room clearing house clearing frags well flashbangs but yeah flashbangs clearing rooms like that their videos are some of the best i've seen so far in terms of like the shit that we actually did there there's all sorts of videos out there like funker 530 has some great videos but nothing compared to what I've seen here. Now, granted it, I don't live on Funker 530 anymore. When I first got out, I was on their site, like nonstop, but not so much anymore. One of the things that, because since we're the first ones to go when it was Iraq, when we got brought back, we're the ones that were like, we were the ones being used as the, the, for the, you know,
Starting point is 00:47:27 the, the mock mount towns that they had, they actually had an entire village out here by March Air Force Base, where we'd go out there for like two weeks and, you know, train the, the guys. that are going to that are on their workups to go out there and one of the things that we had to adjust because we lived it so we knew what to to do to make it as real as possible and one of the things that was like when you practice you know mount at the at the base you know these badass facilities it's uh what the hell is it sounds for uh military military operator yeah urban terrain there you go and you know you have the concrete buildings like you know sewer systems like It's legit.
Starting point is 00:48:05 But what we realized when we went out there, especially when we were going to like the, the gas oil separation plans, the mechanical buildings is there's broken glass and debris everywhere. So you're taught about like, you know, you know, silent, right? Silence is your friend. Most of the time you went to outside of residential, residential is a little different. But anytime it was going to be like commercial, there was no such thing as quiet. And so quiet is your friend, especially, you know, when you're when you're when you're when you're when you're when you're breaching something, but it was not. Second you walk in, there's aluminum and there's shit on the aluminum. So you walk in is like crack, crank crank crank crank and that that's scary for you. Because if someone's on the other side of the wall, they just got to listen for where that's coming from and listen, you know, seven six two rounds are going right through a damn wall.
Starting point is 00:48:57 You know, so it was it was very you. You know, you know, you know the way it is. you acclimate to it but in the beginning that shit kept your heart rate at like a constant 140 150 like your heart was just always there yeah man you look you learn to live in that state like you learn to live with a 120 130 beats per minute that it's great like you could fall asleep at 110 you know all right so here is a video this one is more in line with how my deployments were in Afghanistan. Sawgun are doing work right there, bro. Sawgun are doing work right there.
Starting point is 00:50:10 M249, baby. Laying down the cover fire. And here's one more, because that one was relatively short. Here's another one that's similar to Afghanistan. Yeah. I'm like, I'm ready to go, bro. Yeah, bro. People like nobody, nobody in the chat can understand right now, but what me and Alpha just went through with those three.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Yes, I realize it sounds as bad, guys. What we just went through right there would be like an addict who hasn't done whatever their drug of choice was for like a decade. And somebody just like waved it under their nose. I'm fired up, man. I miss it. I do. as crazy as that sounds i put i put that post up the other day i said you know uh unpopular opinion but i miss the shit out of war i don't miss why we were over there you know i don't whatever but
Starting point is 00:52:19 but uh you know like the once once you're there there's nothing you can do about it let's go push forward let's go but man it is it is you you'll never i can still hear in my head the the sound of the turd the and in the smell the thing sauce because you're catching that through the hatches right like it just everything just everything man um yeah you will never in a million years you will never experience a high like war it doesn't matter what drug you do you will never experience the the high that is freaking war and i've said that so many times the your body just dumps as much adrenaline as you could ever imagine into your body you see only what's in front of you you feel nothing you know
Starting point is 00:53:24 like when you see these videos of guys that like get shot and they're like are you hit and he's like, I don't know. You legit don't know. You legit do not know if you got hit. Uh, and, and I'll tell you, man, like, as bad as it is for us in terms of that, it was worse for the guys we were fighting because they were fucked up on drugs too. Like a lot of the guys that we would fight, they would, before they would fight us, they would literally take opium and all sorts of drugs. So not only were these motherfuckers coming at us with the, the adrenaline rush of war, the same you know they were also effed up so we we shot them like the the the training thing used to always be uh you know you either aim for the t-box which is the shape around your eyes and your nose or you
Starting point is 00:54:10 aim for the i forget what they call it but the the box around your groin like those you don't center mass is great but you those are the two places you aim you aim to to shoot them in the groin because you'll you'll immobilize them instantly or you shoot them in the t-box and you go groin to t-box two in the chest that works too in the chest that works too too, I guess. And the reason for that is because like when you shoot them in the in the T-box, you're immediately out. You're done. You're done. Lights out. Yeah, it's it's your kill switch. When you shoot them in the in the in the in the pelvic area, even if they can't feel it, they physically can't move like like destroying the tracks on a tank.
Starting point is 00:54:48 Exactly. You're you're basically taking the tires out of the car or the tracks out the tank. You shoot them in the chest. Even if it hits them dead square in the heart, they still got a couple minutes left that they that they're going to go on adrenaline and drugs and so hitting them in the chest ain't going to cut it what was what was your what was your villain when you were out there was there a a unit or a vehicle um that you had that was your villain well while you think about it the one that i had um because when we're in kuwait doing the you know the the workup to to get ready to cross the lOD we're doing the silhouettes right all because you got on all the silhouettes at night through night vision and you had to know not only did you have to know the vehicle but once you identified it you had to know the capabilities of it and there was this vehicle we used to call it the zeus it was a zs u i think 24 23 or something like that but it was this it looked very similar to to the lab um but it was a anti aircraft gun but it could also um uh take out you know uh ro vehicles like ours right the ala v is not a bradley it's light armored and i remember when we saw like some of the training videos on that thing i was like cook if we run into that thing like what what the fuck are we could do like we got nothing and we got nothing against that thing dude so that that that was that the one vehicle i never wanted to come across was that zsu so we had one we didn't i mean so
Starting point is 00:56:28 They didn't have armor and stuff like that. They didn't have anything like that. The closest thing that they had that we would, you know, would scare us was they had a 120 millimeter recoilless rifle. And that was like, we never actually saw it. We were just always told like, hey, they have this recoilless rifle. And if they, if they hit you with that, it will blow a hole in through the side of your truck. Like it will blow a hole through the side of your truck. And the two Marines in the front seat will get blown out.
Starting point is 00:56:58 the side about out the other side let me see if i could find a picture of it so all right so this is about what it looked like right here and we never actually you never actually saw it but that's what they told us it looked like and it could you know they tow it behind you could tow it behind a motorcycle you could tow it behind a car whatever and that was always the thing like that they used to fear monger us i don't know if it actually existed but i would say the the thing that probably was our actual like known threat that we were worried about was this motorcycle that had an a AVS 17 30 millimeter grenade launcher on the back of it and they used to launch that thing like a mortar at us and so they would drive around in this thing and then just sit there it was like
Starting point is 00:58:01 a mark a mark 19 almost and they would just launch uh hand grenades at us in our fob and trying to use them like mortars to land inside the base that was the scariest uh you know, indirect fire type weapon that they had for us. That's the, that's the ZSU right. Oh shit, bro. Yeah. See, we didn't, we didn't have to deal with anything like that when we were over. Well, we, we, we never confronted one that was operational.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Um, okay. Love for the guys in the sky because they fucking destroyed these things before before we had, we had to worry about them, dude. Yeah, we, we never had anything like that. So, you know, we were good in that regard. you know the worst thing i think we had was we always there were rumors of chichdian snipers and like we didn't want to deal with the chichnians at all like these motherfuckers have been fighting russians for for a long ass time and that was like always the rumor was oh they've got a platoon of chichnian snipers you know or a squad of of chichdian snipers and we're like oh
Starting point is 00:59:07 shit that's great now we're going to get pot shots from fucking 450 yards away but they're they're not going to dance at our feet anymore they're actually going to take our take us out but we never we never actually saw that they they fight they they they they they they they they they they actually the things that became the concern where like the ambushes you know that that that that's everything i mean we were cocky dude anybody else gets in our way we're gonna fucking destroy them Well, you heard when Danny, did you ever read Danny's book? I haven't, but I've not read it. Oh, dude, you got to read it.
Starting point is 00:59:51 But one of the things he talks about in the book is, and I was, I was, you know, I was on the patrols with him on this. We would literally get the Icom chatter, and I've talked about this before. We would get the Icom chatter where they'd be like, we see Marines walking, you know, they're going here, they're going here, we're setting up the ambush. and we'd be like we'll be there in five minutes we'll see you bitches there and they'd be like we're ready to attack and we'll be like all right let's go you say when and like they'd be like oh we see them they're moving over here and we'd get be like you guys keep talking we tell the interpreter
Starting point is 01:00:25 tell them you guys keep talking all this shit where do you want to do this you tell us and we'll come to you where do you want to do this like we got to the point where we were just like cocky as fuck we'd be like you all want to fight let's fucking fight what do you want to you want you want to throw down guns and we'll just we'll just go bear and we'll just go bare and knuckles what do you want to do when we finally got our interpreters they had because they they the interpreters wouldn't well sometimes they would come in the LABs but a lot of times they would have like a Hummer or something attached to us and they would put these big old speaker boxes on the hummers dude literally drive it into town and they're just talking shit to
Starting point is 01:01:03 them in front of their entire community to start a fight you know like come on you fight is during the dark we're here right now fight right now you cowards why what you're you're you're you're you're you're you're ashamed to fight in front of all on shit like that dude is this yeah right it's just what was wrong with us so check check out this video this is this is this is this is part of what is wrong with us all right uh this is staff sergeant Travis Mills Marine here and listen to this video he's gonna make a lot of jokes here he's a he I should pair I should preface this uh he is a double ampute
Starting point is 01:01:41 So he lost both his legs in combat. Here's what got me. I mean, obviously, a Taliban got me, but before that, I just wanted early retirement. I just walked into it, to be honest. No, it's kind of sad story. My last job, I was cut off at the knees. But I fell apart 25.
Starting point is 01:02:01 It's crazy. I got these for days, by the way. But in truth, I was between the Marines and the Army, and this Marine recruiter was going hard, you know? I was like, what's, you know, what's going on here? And he's like, You want to be a Marine? I was like, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:02:15 You know. And then this Army guy was like, you want $24,000 signing bonus? And I was like, I do. But I said, hold that thought. And I went back to that Marines office. I said, what's your sign bonus? And he stood up and he puffed his chest out, all proud. And he goes, honor of duty, respect.
Starting point is 01:02:31 And I was like, awesome. I'm talking cash money here. You know, he's like, there's no money here. And I'm like, what idiot would join that branch service? It's the Marines. here's what I'm fucking commercials
Starting point is 01:02:49 bro that's all they got us fucking commercials I mean dude I had a I had a $40,000 signing bonus to go in the army and I got a $5,000 bonus to go in the Marines
Starting point is 01:03:02 but I got into boot camp and was like fuck you mean you got a problem with E3 like not even the bonuses bro. Well,
Starting point is 01:03:13 you got promised rank? Like, I went in there. Like, I'm a patriot. I'm a surma country. I'm a patriot. Then I found out all kinds of motherfuckers are getting signing bonuses,
Starting point is 01:03:24 promised rank. All that just, it just means alpha was an ASVAP waiver. That's what that means. Yeah. Keep this up. Offel was an ASVAP waiver. Oh,
Starting point is 01:03:36 is that your boot camp photo? Yeah. There it is. Hold on. Hold on. Let me make you, let me make you, you're going to move it over a little bit which one's you no the other way other way other way keep
Starting point is 01:03:48 going keep going to see which one's me right yeah but you got them oh oh you're the you're the guide damn right right right right 1083 that's right man let's go I didn't know you I didn't know you I thought you're gonna show the whole platoon yeah can't count can't math why can I can't Matt what was my math wrong there you go but of course you totally never rescued Oliver north because he got out of the Marine Corps 30 years before you did yeah no shit right oh did I see these drill instructors and they still make me fucking nervous no no you know you know it so so okay dude oh let me see you guys right here staff sart I'm sorry sergeant I'm sorry, Sergeant McLaughlin, Sergeant Ruiz, Sergeant Rendon, and Sergeant Massial.
Starting point is 01:04:47 Masiel, the little one right here in the very edge closest to me, he was the, he was the bulldog, bro. He was the bulldog. So I still keep in touch with two out of four of my drill instructors. Here's the thing. Okay, so drill instructors, when you leave boot camp, every Marine thinks, like my drill instructors were badass motherfuckers. They were hard chargers and they were the greatest. And then you get to the fleet. And then you get back from your first deployment.
Starting point is 01:05:16 And you start getting all these ribbons. And you start realizing what all these ribbons mean. And you go back and look at your boot camp photo and you're like, wait a second. My kill hat, my heavy hat only had four ribbons. I've got nine already. And I'm a Lance Corporal. And one of them's a combat action ribbon, which he doesn't have. And you're like, yeah, these guys aren't as.
Starting point is 01:05:39 bone saw as I thought they were still got a lot of respect for him and love them to death but you're like yeah maybe I was but I mean I guess maybe if you go like motor tea or something and you didn't get any you didn't you know deploy well maybe you did deploy I don't know um I could see a different you know perspective I had I did have I did have uh one my one of my recruiters was a a Fallujah Marine um and uh he he he retired as a as a gunny not too long ago he actually called me out of the blue he ran into that woman jean um he ran into her and she gave him she she called me on the phone and was like hey take the phone and i'm like hello and he's like who this i'm like brian he's like lupa i was like yeah who's this
Starting point is 01:06:27 it's like shoo i was like oh my god what's going on man and he was an infantry guy and when i enlisted i'd talk to him and i like because they're like oh you want to go infantry talk to this guy You got to talk to him before I'll sign you up for infantry because I was going to get a 20,000. I was going to get 40,000 to go in the army. I was going to get 20,000 to be a cryptolinguist because my ASVAP was like really fucking high. And I was like, no, I want to be a grunt. And they're like, no, you want you don't. I'm like, yeah, I do.
Starting point is 01:06:53 And they're like, no, you want that 20,000. You want to be a cryptolinguist and all this other shit. I'm like, nope, I want to be, I want to be a grunt. And I'm like, all right, talk to this guy. And I just started talking to him. And I'm like, what do you think? He's like, fucking amazing. And I was like, all right, I'm in.
Starting point is 01:07:07 I'm in. Dude had a purple heart and everything. I'm like, I'm in. Yeah, bro. Let's go. I told you how I saw my recruiter when I was leaving Kuwait and he was coming in. Literally, they had the walking, we literally cross paths right there. But, yeah, man.
Starting point is 01:07:27 I got, I got a couple more for you before we start to wrap this thing up. All right. You're ready? How you are going to. to pass away. So savage, bro. I thought there really showed like a sub going down or something. Like, oh, it's a sub all right.
Starting point is 01:08:32 So for those that couldn't read that, it was Air Force. I hope I passed away peacefully in my sleep. Marines, it was, you know, Guadal Canal behind a 30, a brownie let's do the dance baby let's do the dance the army it was the only and the army jb motherfucker oh we participated in the biggest amphibious assault of all time and it's like yeah okay you got lucky you got lucky we were over there burning island to island against the japs while you guys were going whatever uh but it's them storming uh normandy on d-day and then for those that didn't see it. The Navy. It was a Pulp Fiction in the dungeon with uh, what was his name?
Starting point is 01:09:17 Um, what was his name? Maurice. Maurice. Yeah, Maurice. Maurice. Yeah. All right. Here's, here's, here's another one. This one's, this one's a little more, uh, neutral. All right. Military branches lost in the wilderness. Maybe. Well, it's day eight, I think. And, uh, I've been able to drink some brackish water to stay alive. I've been eating pine cones. And I haven't pooped in about four days. Day 112? Yeah, I just live here now.
Starting point is 01:10:00 This is my home. What are going on 18 minutes? We've done anyone. Air Force. stay 13 and I've managed to build a pretty sick tree port um keep myself out of the elements just don't tell the other guys the fucking weirdos
Starting point is 01:10:30 Marines yeah it's a hundred days it's pretty much live here now oh bro oh some good times and then you know if you ever want to get anxiety alpha this will give any any marine that's ever Well, you live, you went to, you were on Pendleton, so you know, you know.
Starting point is 01:11:02 Gates and a big fence around military installations. Yes, yeah, security would be important on our military installation so we can guard our secrets. At the gates and the fence, we're going to put people to scan IDs to make sure that you're actually allowed to be on post. Another layer of security, that sounds really good. We're only going to put two people at the gate scanning IDs. You're only going to put two people at the gate to scan everybody's ID. There's a ton of people to have to come through the gate. We're going to make everybody show up at the exact same time for multiple things, multiple times throughout the day.
Starting point is 01:11:38 You're going to set up the schedule so all of us are coming through the gate at the same time? What do you mean? That's going to make the problem that you just talked about worse. Most of the people manning the gate are going to be our most inexperienced service members. What? That's an important job. Don't worry. They'll take a two-week class to learn how to do it.
Starting point is 01:11:58 Two weeks, my ass, bro. The two hours, bro. They're going to take a two-hour course, bro. And 90 minutes of that two hours is trying to find out where it's going to be at. Oh, that's just... For anybody that's ever that has never served in the military, that is exactly how it goes down. every morning we all have to be on base at the same time infantry guys a little bit earlier but you got
Starting point is 01:12:29 to remember there's 10,000 infantry guys on that base well maybe not 10,000 but you know four or five thousand and then everybody else maybe an hour later but you know camp lejeune dude I think there were three gates on camp lejeune the main gate and then two side gates which were very small you got fucking 30 40 50 thousand people that have to get through that gate And there's only four lanes to go through. And so you get, bro. And they're not concerned with IDs. Is that a red sticker or blue sticker?
Starting point is 01:13:02 Is it a red sticker? Is it a red sticker? Well, they just want to know if they got to do this. That's it. Well, not, no, well, not on Camp Lejeune, bro.
Starting point is 01:13:11 Camp Lejeune, they'd be like checking your sticker like, oh, you're expired. Why are you expired? And it's like, dude, just let me through me. I'm in fucking Camys. I've got my ID. I just showed you my ID. just let me through bro
Starting point is 01:13:23 your stickers expired man dude it was hit and miss bro you'd have the marine like bro like we were sitting next each other at chahaw like a couple days ago bro like right yeah but you give him a badge and of right he's like
Starting point is 01:13:39 I want to see everything and then you have the other guy it's just like he's looking at the computer he hasn't even looked at your car yet and he's just like yeah so more more Morning, it gets a little bit better, but coming back on base at night, forget about it. They got a hard on to get a DUI out of somebody.
Starting point is 01:14:02 But you would go through and like I remember one time I was on Camp Geiger, which is like one of the satellite bases for Lejeune. It's where they train. It's like where SOI is and all that. And I was on Camp Geiger for like Emlock, Infantry Mortar Leaders course. And I was going on base one day and they, they, you know, it's, much less populated there, much less populated. And the guy comes around my car and he goes, hey, your tags are expired. And I was like, yeah, my tags are from Florida. I live in North Carolina. I haven't gotten my tags yet. Run the number. It's still good. Well, you don't have the sticker on there that
Starting point is 01:14:40 shows that it's good. And I'm like, I've got the registration right here that shows that it's valid. And the numbers match. And he's like, yeah, but the stickers don't. And I'm like, so what the fuck do you want me to do? Are you going to call my chain of command and tell them that I can't come on base because my stickers don't match by my registrations up to date? And the guy's like, well, you don't have to be a dick about it. And I'm like, I got a fucking job to do. Like, I got to get on base. I'm going to get my ass reamed out. I'm a fucking corporal. I'm going to get my, oh, dude. I, I like, once you get salty, you just, you have no, no fucking patience for these people. Oh. I heard that video and I was like, that's the one thing that gives me anxiety, like,
Starting point is 01:15:19 about going back in the military would be trying to get back on on base at like six a.m. or five a.m. No thanks. Mine was it's like you know we want to go on on Libo and we haven't in gone we haven't started to go back yet and we still got to clean his weapons. That was the one bro. That was the one that's just like like we haven't even started weapons maintenance yet. Like you motherfuckers like come on.
Starting point is 01:15:48 And we had one time where we got back from a battalion march, right? And it was like nine o'clock at night after weapon turn in and all that stuff. And we were, it was, we were going on pre, I think it was pre-deployment leave for two weeks. And so the family was on base to, you know, to receive us and go home. And so many people were flying out and all this. And it's in the middle of December in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, eastern North Carolina. And it starts snowing like crazy. And it, it, It never snows there, like very rarely snows. And so me and my wife, both of us from Florida, we get in the car and we're driving off and it's like a little bit snowing and we're like, okay, this is going to suck. I'm in her front wheel drive Chevy Colbolt and we're driving down the highway and the snow starts coming down so thick that I can't see like five feet in front of me. And I've never driven in the snow before, but she doesn't know that. And I have to pretend like I have. And so I'm driving in the snow like she's like freaking out. And I'm like, babe, stop.
Starting point is 01:16:50 I got this. I got this. I know what I'm doing. I know what I'm doing. And I'm like, I have no fucking clue what I'm doing. I'm in a front wheel drive car. I have no idea how this is going to work. If I was in my truck, it's four wheel drive.
Starting point is 01:17:00 I pull over, put it in four. I'm good. No idea. I ended up getting home. But dude, that was, that was some fucking scary ass shit right there. Larry 5670, 73 says, Cornada Island, the bridge, bro. The bridge, 85 to 80s.
Starting point is 01:17:19 man thank you for your service the big old blue bridge bro the big old blue bridge all right so i think that actually you know what before we start to wrap up and we will start to wrap up let's tell you the tragic story about my camelback right before a big old hump i told you before you tell that story let's let's get some soft disclosure no gee g we can't stop for Thanks, do we have to deliver all of these soft disclosure gift cards? It goes by Zach Pave. The lotion detective. Softdisclosure.com.
Starting point is 01:19:10 promo code muffin, hit it. Get you some of that beard oil. Get you some of the tallow lip balm, the tallow stick. Even though it's not tallow, it's beeswax. And then you'll be in be wax. I had a new show with Ash today, too, and I gave her shit about that. No, your product. All right.
Starting point is 01:19:33 You got an echo. You have an echo? It's probably you. You're going to have to back out and leave. Test. Soundboard. Test, test, test, test. Check, check.
Starting point is 01:19:47 I hear myself. I don't know what's going on with Stream Yard, but like everybody's having this issue. Chris Paul had it with General Klaus the other day. Streamyard changed something and it's not working with our systems anymore. Oh, and then there was just me. So now that it's just me. While we're waiting for Alpha to get back, I'll tell you another quick story. One time, one of the worst feelings you could ever have, like the worst feeling.
Starting point is 01:20:24 Check, check. All right, we're good. I have no echo. I was just, I'm going to tell this one real quick and then I'll hand it off to you. one of the worst feelings I could you could ever imagine having like the most anxiety you'd ever have this outside of a deployment um I woke up one day on a normal weekday and uh it was daylight outside that's anxiety right there bro bro I woke up and it was light outside you don't you don't ever want to wake up and it'd be light outside uh uh uh Uh-uh. There's nothing that saves that, bro. There is no, actually, I got you.
Starting point is 01:21:06 I got you. You ready? Yeah, I'm very curious to how this. I called, I was a boot, too. I wasn't, if I wasn't even salty, if I was salty, you know, I could, I could, I could probably have pulled it off. If I was an NCO, because I picked up NCO, my, uh, before my second deployment, I probably could have pulled it off. I call my squad leader. He was calling me.
Starting point is 01:21:29 And I was not answering. And so they like after the third time I finally answer. I'm like, hey, corporal stormer. Hey, uh, he's like, where the fuck are you? I was like, dude, I got pulled over by Onslow County Sheriff. And he's like, what? I was like, yeah, I got pulled over by Onslow County Sheriff. They had me in handcuffs.
Starting point is 01:21:49 I'm like, they're like, for what? It's like for my exhaust on my car. Because I had a really loud Mustang. They're for my exhaust on my car. And he's like, what? And I was like, yeah. And I'm like, telling him. like I have all my exhaust components like everything's in there and like I'm fighting with these guys
Starting point is 01:22:04 and they're like well did you get a ticket like are you going to jail and I'm like no I got out of it they're like how and I told them I was like I told them look under the car and you can see my mufflers everything's there like the stocks it's exhaust it's stock and so I end up get back on base nothing happened to me nothing happened to me oh that listen that's a you never get to use that one again No, no, no, that's a one and done. That's a one and done. I was never late after that. I was never fucking late after that.
Starting point is 01:22:37 I had like five alarms set. My wife had an alarm set. Yeah, no way. No way. I still to this day run 10, 12 alarms. Oh, I do too. I do too. I'm still late though.
Starting point is 01:22:50 Yeah, you are. Yeah, you are. I'm never late. I've never once been late for a show. So, um, but on that note, go ahead. What was your camelback story? Actually, let's get to the Rumble rents because I got to get ready to pop for another show so I'll save I'll say the camelback story for another day another

When you were deployed, if you went to the armory, dropped some ammo, did you pick it up and go to work or leave it behind? Thank you for your service. I think that's a Tyler Robinson reference right there, Alpha. In the Marine Corps, you never, you never drop ammo.
Starting point is 01:23:56 Well, first and foremost, my armory was controlled by us.
