Badlands Media - The Daily Herold: 3/6/26 - Kristi Noem Fallout, Iran Narratives, and Government Accountability
Episode Date: March 6, 2026Jon Herold opens Friday’s episode by addressing the ongoing debate surrounding Kristi Noem’s role in the Trump administration, arguing that the latest developments strongly suggest she was effecti...vely fired and repositioned into a lesser role. Jon walks through how Trump historically handles underperforming officials by shifting them into envoy or ambassador style positions rather than outright dismissals, and why some supporters are reluctant to acknowledge that reality. From there, the conversation widens into several developing stories, including continued discussion about the Iran conflict, media narratives surrounding the situation, and broader frustrations about how little verified information the public receives during geopolitical crises. Jon also touches on financial headlines, political maneuvering inside Washington, and the importance of being willing to criticize figures within an administration without abandoning support for the broader movement. The episode blends political analysis with live audience interaction, reinforcing Jon’s recurring theme that independent thinking and skepticism are necessary when navigating an information war environment.

out of the Badlands. Explain those Badlands. That's a hell of a name.
Well, good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to the Daily Herald here on Badlands Media.
I'm your host, John Harold, and happy Friday. Love me some Fridays.
How was everybody in the chat doing?
Got a pretty lively crowd already. Elf boy, glad to hear you're still with us and thriving.
Saw that you get to go home next week, so keeping in our prayers, man.
And yes, I did comb my hair this morning, just for you.
Today's show, we'll talk a little bit more about the Christy Knoem thing, as I kind of expected.
A lot of people don't want to, a lot of cope out there.
They don't want to acknowledge that she was fired.
And we're going to talk about that and some of the developments that have happened.
We'll talk a little bit about some of the financial things, some news that's come out,
maybe a little Iran stuff.
The Mata Glass's story is ridiculous.
We'll talk about that a little bit.
And whatever else you guys want to talk about.
Mike Duke Collins, I haven't decided yet.
We'll see how the show goes.
We'll see what tangents you get me off on.
But yeah, we'll see.
Before we get into any of that, do me in favor.
Hit that thumbs up, number one.
Greatly appreciated.
And shout out to the YouTubers.
Hi, John, watching out for tornadoes.
Where in the country are there tornadoes right now?
Oklahoma, maybe.
Oaky Maiden, if I had a guess.
that's wild um
rome 2-22 when most people get fired they're not given an alternate position
just saying we'll talk about that i mean that's true
not always true but that's true most of the time
but it's okay she was right well we'll talk about it and i'll show you guys um
some recent developments that i would say confirm the firing
but this is more so how trump operates than it is
like okay standard procedure if you get fired you don't get a new position that's how this is
how trump does anything if somebody's not working for him he puts them in some sort of ambassadorship or
envoy role that really i mean okay do they have the same budget are they running the same size
of agency are they getting paid the same no we'll talk about it uh real quick let's get a quick
word from a couple of our sponsors who we have today.
Oh, we got
ourselves.
Get yourself some soft disclosure, guys.
Legend says, on St. Patrick's Day, a beard
without oil is just a chin with ambition.
But a beard with soft disclosure
beard oil, that's true treasure.
Spiced vanilla, naked,
smooth as a lepricons getaway
plan. Soft enough
to impress your barber, bold enough
to confuse a baby goat.
And this bore bristlebrush tames your beard like it owes the crown coin.
Every bottle is American made, which means when you buy soft disclosure,
you're supporting six American small businesses.
That's not luck.
That's capitalism with cheekbones.
And while you're at it, try our mint-green deodorant,
because even legends need fresh pits.
Soft Disclosure, go for gold.

He seems to have been evaluated by the FDA from the putting not apply to bundle biscuits.
Wiley Coyote says,
I thought you were a news guy, Oklahoma and Kansas were both in tornado storms.
I have a news guy.
I follow a lot of news, follow Twitter.
One of the news sites that I don't often check is the weather channel.
So did not get to, did not see that.
So prayers for those of you in harm's way, hopefully there's no damage or whatnot.
Yeah, I think I owe Todd.

on the doge website silver was popping off earlier yeah 84 72 gold 51 60 no update on the presidential website
That's to be expected as well, kind of slow.
I think Trump might be signing some new executive orders tomorrow.
Tomorrow they're launching that new whatever, the board of, what's it called,
Board of Americas or something?
Let's see if I can find what it's actually called.
I can't believe I've ever forgotten it already.
Yeah, the first thing we're going to talk about is,
Chrissy, I'm getting fired.
So we can jump right into that.
So as yesterday broke it on the show, President Trump names Mark Wayne Mullen,
as Homeland Security Secretary, Christy Noem to serve as special envoy.
President Trump announced Thursday that Mark Wayne Mullen will take over as Secretary Homeland Security at the end of the month,
with current Secretary Christy Noem transitioning to serve as special envoy for the Shield of Americas,
a new Western Hemisphere Security Initiative.
Now, we don't know the full details of what the Shield of America is, okay?
That's number one.
It's not getting officially announced until tomorrow Saturday.
Yeah, tomorrow.
So when I posted yesterday, like, oh, yeah, one of the, you know, so many thoughts about
Christy Nome being fired, number one, is this a rug pull of the Save America Act?
And yes, I know we talked about on the show a little bit.
The governor's going to replace them within 30 days.
Depending on the timing of how that goes down, are we going to be without one vote?
and then if for some you know somehow they get the save act save america act out there and voted on
in that time frame trump just rug pulled it which would be interesting may not happen that
way i have no idea that was just the first thought that came to my head the thing that people
questioned me on was saying that she wasn't fired and i thought that was weird like that's what
we're gonna that's what we're gonna argue about that's what you're mad at me about is saying she's
fired this one lady went absolutely ballistic oh whoops I wanted to save that tab hold on let me
let me show you what this lady said because I made my post she and if you follow me on
Twitter you already saw this but I still think it's hilarious she responded saying she wasn't fired
she's an equally important position and I thought that was silly because we don't even know what
her new position entails we have no idea what she's actually going to be doing because we
haven't officially announced it yet.
People are, you know, jump into all sorts of conclusions about whether or not, you know,
she's going to oversee the entire, you know, security initiative and be in charge of
tracking down drug cartels and all these things for the Western Hemisphere.
Like, she might do that.
But I kind of doubt it.
But we don't know yet.
So how can you say it's an equally important position to a cabinet level only directly
reporting to President Trump.
position. Cabinet level positions, by the way, and the government tend to get the highest payroll. Special envoys are about $50,000 a year cheaper. I think cabinet levels are $250,000-ish a year, a little higher. Special envoys are around 200 some thousand. But anyway, I respond to this person who said, well, they haven't officially announced the Shield of Americas yet. How could you possibly know her new position is equally important? Just a fact and a question. She lost her marbles.
She says, take a good look in the mirror.
Actually, first she said, because I read President Trump's true social post, dude, why are you so defensive?
I'm sensing you're too emotional to be objective.
Take a good look in the mirror.
You're just bummed because she wasn't fired.
You've fallen.
I was like talking about projection.
It's insane.
And then she deleted everything and unfollowed me.
But this is, you know, if you find yourself in the position where you have to defend
cabinet members, like his administration, not Trump himself, but you're defending his administration
from bad news, like bad things. You messed up somewhere along the way. Like, we don't know why Trump
picked Christy Noem. We don't know that she's part of the plan or part of the team or that she did
a good job or all these things. And if anything, there's lots of evidence to the contrary of that
because she went in front of the Senate just a couple days ago and we played the clip or maybe it's
last week. We played the clip
a little bit yesterday, and I think even
a little bit the day before that, two days in a row
where she's talking about how
the, you know, I think it was with
Kennedy, Senator Kennedy, how she
spent 200 some
million dollars on advertising
and she said to them that
Trump approved it. And Trump
did not approve that. It came out later.
Trump said he didn't approve it.
And listen to this. This is from
Bill Malusian.
It's a pretty, pretty solid
reporter. It's about a three-minute long video, but I think this is worth it. He got some insight
from Senator Kennedy, and now this could all be fake news. It could, you know, Senator Kennedy
could be lying about what he said. But just listen. Martha had been brewing for a couple months.
It started in Minneapolis with all the bad headlines that were coming out there every day.
It escalated when Secretary Nome went on TV and called Alex Pretty and Renee Good, domestic
terrorists. It escalated further when Tom Homan was brought into essentially be the shot color
there and Noem and Greta Bevino are essentially sideline. But then it hit a snowball effect
this week with her testimony here on the Hill. And we just got some clarity as to what happened
with Senator John Kennedy and Noam and the White House earlier this week. Senator Kennedy just
gagged with reporters here at the Hill a short time ago and he gave us a bigger picture look at this.
So he said ahead of that hearing, he had heard about this $200 million ad buy that DHS and Secretary Nome did.
Of course, we've seen the ads where she's on horsebacked.
She's featured heavily.
There were some allegations that maybe there were some cronyism in those contracts.
So Senator Kennedy said that he was offended by the size and scope of that contract.
So he called up the White House and he said, we've got Nome on the Hill tomorrow.
I would like to press her under oath and ask her about this contract.
And he said the White House essentially didn't oppose it, said, go ahead.
So then we see that hearing on Tuesday where he pressed her about the contract directly,
and he asked her repeatedly, did President Trump personally approve of this contract to spend $200 million on this ad contract?
And Christy Noem replied under oath that yes, he did.
Well, President Trump is now saying that that is not true.
And just a short time ago, Senator Kennedy gave us a quote.
He says President Trump called him after that hearing, after he saw Nome's testimony,
and that President Trump was, quote, mad as a murder hornet and said that he never approved that
contract and didn't even know about it.
I'm going to read a quote that Senator Kennedy just told us a short time ago, how he interpreted
her testimony.
He said, quote, I heard the secretary say that she went to the president and said, I
proposed to spend a quarter billion dollars on TV ads in which I am the star and the president
thought that was a swell idea. That's what I heard the secretary say. Her version of the truth
and the president's version of the truth are decidedly different. So Martha, it sounds like, you know,
everything started with Minnesota, with Minneapolis, with all the bad headlines, that kind
of planted the seeds and then everything really escalated this week in terms of her testimony
here on the hill. What she said under oath and what President Trump are now
what President Trump is now saying are two entirely different things.
And what Senator Kennedy is saying, what President Trump is saying, is that no, he didn't
know about that contract, nor would he have ever approved it or signed off on it.
And that was Senator Kennedy's point.
He was trying to pin her down on that with the testimony.
So you combine all this together, Minnesota, the allegations of an affair with Corey Lewandowski,
the testimony on the hill, it all just kind of boiled over into a very sudden replacement of
Christy Gnome with Senator Mark.
Mark Wayne Mullen, who again sounded like he was pretty surprised by this.
We just talked to him on the Capitol steps less than an hour ago.
He said he basically found out when the media.
So there you have it.
I mean, we can say that it may be a lateral move, but actually we can't say it.
I take that back.
We can't say that.
We don't know what the new position is going to look like.
And it's not a cabinet level position.
It's not a lateral move.
She was overseen a huge budget at the DHS.
She was in charge of one of the largest agencies.
So how can we say that this wasn't, if you want to call it a demotion, maybe we can do that.
She was fired from this position and given something not as important.
What else do we call that?
So I don't get the hang up on the semantics about it.
It is what it is.
I'm curious to see how Mark Wayne Mullins does.
I don't know if he'll even get confirmed.
We'll see.
Does he need a simple majority for confirmation?
Or does he need?
I should look that up.
How many votes does Mark Wayne Mullins need?
Because right now, like the DHS is in a partial shutdown.
He can't probably vote for himself, I'm assuming.
So how's that going to work?
It's going to be interesting.
And Trump does this sometimes.
Like, he will take somebody out of the Senate.
or the house for a cabinet level position or somewhere in his administration and then
either shortly thereafter or they don't get confirmed or whatever he like yanks him out of
government almost and then they go on to be like an envoy like here's your here's your backup plan
I never didn't actually want you to be in the administration anyway that's how he does it he needs
51 affirmative votes assuming all senators vote and no absences or vacancies alter
the total. Yeah, so I'm curious how that's going to work is, because he's one of the senators.
If they do strict party line or like at least how things have been going,
I guess party line, what, what we have 53, 47 majority?
This depends on everybody. I think we've already had Tillis say that he wouldn't vote for it.
So we're down to two. I don't know. It'll be close.
Bass Burns, Patel pitch, man, you think Wiles is bad. She got Trump to endorse Tony
Gonzales and pushing him for Corny. WTF pro Lindsey Graham is here as well. I do not know.
Was the DHS funding passed? Are you sure? New case. It passes the House. Didn't pass the Senate yet.
The House approved it yesterday. Senate Democrats have blocked it multiple times.
I anticipate that to continue. But maybe not. I think one of the things they wanted was her
her resignation. But yes, new case, it is all gay fab.
and I love that.
Good to see a Kelly loves oak.
Cam says,
Ash does have a good record of escaping the law,
so that's a great idea to keep her away from Drake, though.
He's constantly accusing the law of being illegitimate.
What does this all even matter?
She was demoted, let's move on.
So I want to talk about it.
I like monitoring where the info war is at, you know,
and navigating through it.
Two miles approved the $220 million.
You call that a reassignment, maybe.
downgrained move, not as important.
A lot of people are saying that she wasn't fired, and I just, I don't understand it.
But anyway, we'll move on here, you guys, we'll move on.
Some good news and some bad news.
Okay, number one, the good news.
Our deficit, trade deficit has been nearly cut in half since Liberation Day, which is cool.
A lot of this has to do with the tariffs, obviously.
U.S. trade deficit has fallen by nearly half since President Trump's Liberation Day tariff
announcements in March, with the December gap coming in 48% smaller.
then March the March peak.
Let me turn to do this.
Is that easier to see?
There we go.
The combined goods and services deficit dropped to 70.3 billion in December from
$136 billion in March, a decline of $65.7 billion, according to the Commerce Department
data released Thursday.
The goods deficit alone fell 39%.
Dramatic nine months improvement suggests Trump's terror strategy is achieving its core objective
of reducing America's trade imbalance.
March represented the peak of deficit.
as importers rushed to bring in goods ahead of announced tariff increases creating what economists call front loading.
December figure while higher than October's low of 58.5 billion was driven by volatile gold flows and a surge in computer accessory imports.
The China deficit, which peaked at $295 billion in 2024, fell to $202.1 billion in 2025, the smallest of more than two decades.
So this is a great number.
This is good stuff.
We obviously want to get this to a positive number.
number. And I'm seeing some people online talk about, you know, how things are improving. And they are. Like it's, this year was better than last year. But, but actually it wasn't the deficit number was better than last year, not by much. This is, this is the concerning numbers, the real numbers to me. Like the, the trade imbalance goes towards the receipts and whatnot here. But if you look at 2025, the, the,
total receipts that we we brought in 5.2 trillion the outlays how much we spent over seven trillion
look at the spending here you see that do i need to zoom in more that's that better so yeah
our total deficit went down by like 40 what is that 42 42 48 42 trillion dollars but this
spending keeps going up as long as the spending goes up with the receipts this is
is unsustainable. And if you look at the projections moving forward and again,
projections can change. They're just like based on the information we have available right now.
This is what it's going to look like, you know, over the next decade. And there are some
concerning numbers here too. This year's total spending is seven trillion. Next year's is
$7.4 trillion. The deficit goes back up again to 1.8. And the next year after that,
1.87. This is unsustainable.
I think by this September we're supposed to reach $40 trillion in debt.
And this is one of the questions.
Like I keep harping on, you know, the waste, fraud and abuse.
I almost said the fraywa and abuse again.
The waste fraud and abuse that doge is supposed to be taken out.
But our spending is higher than it's ever been.
How's that happen?
And I know Congress controls the purse strings.
And they're definitely not working in line.
with Trump's agenda.
But these are,
these are some concerning numbers, guys.
And we can hope and wish and pray that, you know,
somehow Trump's going to rugpole that,
this stuff, and maybe he will.
But until we see evidence of that, like,
these are the things we ought to be concerned about.
This is unsustainable long term.
Poison Pond or Paiosan Pond.
I think what we're going through right now is that you've got to spend money
to make money stage.
Is that what we're doing?
Isn't Wiles a bigger way at this point?
I don't get how no one sees that.
I'm not sure about Wiles.
I don't know.
I like her nickname, though, the Ice Queen or whatever.
But yeah, a lot of people have an opinion of her that is not positive.
And I think there is valid reasons to be concerned.
I'd imagine Trump sees it, though.
But yeah, if she's a bad egg and she's responsible for all these cabinet picks,
what does I tell you about all the cabinet picks?
New case, I wonder at what point do the money printers just say they're going to stop printing our money for us.
That will be major considering rugpoving you need to destroy our nations with problems that they created.
Phil Scarborough, that's not how you spell patience the way you mean it.
Badlands Mini Fan due to inflation takes more money to maintain the same level of governance.
Yep, you are absolutely correct.
Right now we're spending a trillion dollars.
Is it a year?
A trillion dollars is a year?
Just an interest.
price and upon the savings that does the given us that doge has given us is being spent in proper venues to make america great again then we start bringing it down so we keep saying or that's what i keep hearing you all see corey lewondowski has left h h h h s as soon as it was announced that noem was gone looks like they're going to be but he's elsewhere now oh that's funny how much would they have to print before there would be a correction i have no idea colson kudj you're good to see man
um pan macdell venezuela cuba drugs iran oil etc it's all about china yeah i agree so a lot of people are saying
it's all about london britain maybe it is i don't know but i tend to agree that it's more so
about the china threat for sure judy casbier collins gatekeeper are you calling me a gatekeeper
is that silly those just finding fraud not removing it what's the point of finding a fraud if we're not
going to remove it. Trump told Corey to drill baby drill. I like that. That's funny.
Anarchy, good to see, man. Why are we working to make money? They can and do just print.
We're getting screwed. Screwed. Much like Christy Noam. Every time she's with Corey Lewandowski.
Just kidding. Speaking of some financials, other financial stuff, U.S. payrolls unexpectedly fell
by 92,000 in February. Unemployment rate rises.
to 4.4%.
Non-farm payrolls in February fell by 92,000 compared with the estimate for 50,000 and below the
downwardly revised January total of 126,000, it was the third time in five months that the economy
has lost jobs.
Healthcare, the primary growth driver and payroll saw a loss of 20,000 due largely to a strike
at Kaiser Permanente.
It's signed line more than 30,000 workers in Hawaii and California.
Wages rose more than expected.
average hourly earnings increased 0.4% for the month and 3.8% from a year ago, both 0.1 percentage point above forecast.
Have you guys seen gas prices? I haven't been to the gas station in like a week.
Our gas prices going up because I know crude is up.
I can find that story. Yeah, crude tops $90 per barrel.
And it's supposed to be a leg effect on that stuff, but it's typically not how it works.
So if you guys have any gas prices going up in your area, I'm curious to hear it.
J. Corg and the Army abruptly canceled a major training exercise official said,
feeling speculation within the Defense Department that soldiers specializing in ground combat
and a range of other missions may be sent to the Middle East.
I got a message from somebody yesterday on Telegram that there's a lady who said her two sons were just getting deployed.
I don't know what, I didn't ask, you know, I just said I'd pray for him, but I didn't ask whether they're like ground troops or, you know, drone pilots or whatever.
but uh should i start texas good to see i shyser texas at 319 30 cent hike three days ago 30 cents in 30 cents in um okayc
five dollars where garden guy is massachusetts yeah diesel over five bucks in washington state
a ob b 22 yes and jump from 255 to 304 in a nanosecond after the news that is ridiculous
that's not how it's supposed to work the gas you're
getting in your tank, they should have already paid for.
So the margins should be baked in.
The price shouldn't be reflected until they pay for and get the new oil in that costs more.
And then therefore, they have to raise the price on that.
It's a little pyramid scheme.
You guys are lucky the price of lotion is not affected by war with Iran.
420 for diesel in Oregon.
Electric car push, here we come.
But do you remember, like just a couple weeks ago, we were talking about how awesome
was that gas price are going down is a great thing
that was just all the way
reversed to where it was
you're kidding John gas station's going to make
what they can of course they are
I'm not saying
that's how it does work I'm saying that's how it should work
any excuse to charge higher prices
cam and fodder was at
$264 and over $3
John who's the judge of trade
who think he's the alpha and omega
and dealing with the returning of tariffs fund to the company
does deal with
trade as an admin judge
I don't understand what you're saying there.
I said you're lucky.
Prices haven't changed.
If I'm being honest, we probably should price it higher.
But, you know, obviously we want to support the creators, support Annie and the other small businesses.
Don't need a huge profit to do that.
Not in that to personally make money.
Put it that way.
Or Spike will go down next week.
It might.
It's going to fluctuate.
Anyway.
let's keep going.
What else do I got?
I'm trying to decide if I should do
like take calls today or just shoot the shit
with you guys.
SISA's information officer announces
departure from the agency.
Robert Costello, the chief
information officer at
the cybersecurity infrastructure security agency
announced Tuesday he is leaving the agency
ending an 18 year career at the Department of Homeland
Security. Estello's tenure had
recently faced turbulence including conflicting
reports over whether former acting SISA
director Madhu Gatma Kala tried to push him out.
Last week, Kestella received transfer orders for possible reassignment.
Household and Security Chairman Andrew Garbarino had said last month it was good
that an early reported attempt to remove Kostela out of the CIO role had failed.
Assistant CIO Kistella helped address internal vulnerabilities,
promoted new tools to enhance agency services, and advocated for increased use of artificial
intelligence. The departure
comes amid broader leadership changes.
Nick Anderson was recently named acting director
to replace Gauta Macaula, while acting
chief human resources officer
Kevin Deanna also received
transfer orders. You know that Gada McCalla
name is interesting because
he was the guy who
he was accused of
putting documents
on an AI thing like he wasn't
supposed to classified documents. Then he's also
the guy that they gave the
was it the lie detector test to and he failed?
or something and then they got mad and said they were trying to trap him so i i didn't realize
that he had actually got replaced let's see if i can find that so he was he's transitioned
to the director of strategic implementation i wonder when that was because he's he was brought in by
christy know him he was a south dakota guy worked with her in south dakota so the fact that
he got moved too even more interesting but he wasn't in part he was given a lateral move
as you guys say.
In February 2026, it was announced that he would be taking a new role at SISA as
director of strategic implementation.
Yeah, this is interesting.
Agency tasks with protecting the nation's cyber and critical infrastructure is getting a new leader.
The new acting director, Nick Anderson will serve as the acting director.
Anderson is the current executive assistant director.
It's always funny when they're like, his role here is going to be working to,
save taxpayer money.
And it's just, it's like, yeah, we're going to
create a position and hire somebody,
pay them taxpayer dollars,
and their job is to
save taxpayer money.
We just fire half the government, we can save a whole bunch of money.
Hammer guy 35, no one wasn't fired, she quit.
I don't think that's true.
Is that she had an affair with?
I thought it was Corey Lewandowski,
but I could be wrong.
Definitely could be wrong.
Let's see what else.
We got some talk about
Trump and Iran. This is from CNN. I think he did an interview with Dana Bash.
Trump tells CNN he's not worried whether Iran becomes a democratic state.
President Trump on Friday told CNN that Iran's leadership has been neutered,
and he's looking for new leadership that will treat the United States and Israel well,
even if that's a religious leader and not a democratic state.
Iran is not the same country. It was a week ago. A week ago, they were powerful,
and now they've been indeed neutered.
in that call he also said Cuba would fall pretty soon.
I think that's interesting.
And emphasizes the importance of voter ID legislation,
which he suggested could it be determinative in his Texas Senate endorsement.
Trump expressed confidence in the ease of picking a new leader in Iran,
which he said must be involved in and again compared the mission to Venezuela,
where he captured Nicholas Maduro earlier this year and put his deputy in power.
It's going to work very easily.
It's going to work like it did in Venezuela.
We have a wonderful leader there.
She's doing a fantastic job.
and it's going to work like in Venezuela.
Trump also said he was open to having a religious leader.
Well, yeah.
Or maybe, yeah.
I mean, it depends on who the person is.
I don't mind religious leaders.
I deal with a lot of religious leaders.
And they are fantastic.
Press on if he's insisting there needs to be a democratic state.
Trump tells CNN, no, I'm saying there has to be a leader that's going to be fair and just,
do a great job, treat the United States and Israel well, and treat the other countries in the Middle East.
They're all our partners.
Interesting times, guys.
Interesting times.
Marco was about to become president of Cuba and Shaw of Iran.
Badlands Media fan, it would be nice to see government service be strictly volunteerism,
no payment, just service.
That is such an interesting concept.
And definitely more in line with what the founders, you know, probably intended.
It's like you do your duty, you go, you serve,
and you come back and, you know, get back to life as you once lived it.
But you don't go there.
You're not living there permanently.
You're there for a couple months.
all the work and then come back it'd be it'd be hard to do it without any pay at all probably
otherwise like how could the average joe how could they how could they do it how could they
serve you'd have to have like significant assets and money saved up in order to like be able
to just afford to go being government john wore a turbine he could pass as the leader of iran
I'm sure some people would want me taken out
with a ballistic missile
So I'm probably not going to do that

Right now
Frederick Leathers
Iran attacking its allies and those who are neutral to them.
Sounds sketch.
The attacks are lining up these countries against Iran.
Why would they do that?
Who's in charge ordering this?
I wonder if, assuming you're going to say false flag,
we aren't doing it to get others into the Abrahamic courts.
I do wonder how much of like the bombing from Iran is just Israel false flags.
Might not be, but it's definitely possible.
Before we even talk about incentives for elected representatives,
we should probably talk about actually holding them accountable, which we can't do currently with our election system.
And it's going to be spicy guys coming up to the midterms.
It's going to be fun, though.
It'll be entertaining here at Badlands because there are some people who don't believe in voting.
They think it's pointless right now.
And there are some people who think, well, yes, I know elections are fake, but you still have to vote.
It's going to make for some fun debates.
I'm excited for it.
And I'm excited to be blamed for whatever losses the movement incurs.
From the people who, you know, oh, Badlands is irrelevant now.
They've been destroyed all these things.
They'll also be the ones blaming us for midterm losses.
So that'll be a fun.
Fun one.
It's going to make for some good debates.
So stay, um, stay frosty.
And remember that disagreements are healthy when,
unrespectfully. They're good. Friction is good. So we get to the bottom of the issues.
And we can all be friends at the end of the day. No bad faith. No bad faith disagreements.
Only good ones. Good faith ones. And we'll be fine. John, when are you becoming the next
lotion Ayatollah? You know what I should change my name to that instead of lotion oligarch.
How do you spell Ayatollah? Ayatola. Okay, there we go. Hold for processing.
lotion iatola how's that is that better they spell that right i think it did we would be much better off

walbert for us they steal our votes
but we can out vote the fraud
yeah
okay what other stories do I got
we got like 20 minutes left
we already talked about the
Cuba the following thing
notable
probably talk about that on
Saturday's power hour
this is the story
that I think is nuts
inside the Rayban smart glasses
controversy plaguing meta
a Nairobi based
data firm said it has viewed
sensitive footage captured by META's Rayban smart glasses after the tech giant tapped the Kenyan
company for AI training offshore.
In some videos, you can see someone going to the toilet or getting undressed.
An unnamed source told reporters this week, I don't think they know because if they knew,
they wouldn't be recording.
Claims come from a joint investigative published investigation published by Swedish newspapers.
They said the technology raises broader concerns about how wearable devices collect and use
personal data, particularly in a public setting.
The wearer of the glasses cannot consent on behalf of all the people they are encountering as they go through the world using these glasses.
Whether in public places or in private places, at places like locker rooms, restrooms, or other intimate spaces,
he said training AI systems on that footage increases risk because the data can include identifiable faces, voices, and other personal information.
You're compounding the privacy and data protection concerns because you're taking
people's personal information and using it to build your own model.
Davison said reports of the glasses recording people in intimate situations did not surprise
them and suggested companies may attribute such recordings to false activations or other technical
explanations, but the fact remains that they are capturing sensitive information that no reasonable
consumer would want their smart glasses to capture. And with tech and stuff going on,
like the advancement of tech, this is only going to become a greater concern.
with AI and these tech companies and government and the overreach, they already have access
to so much damn information.
And then as they start rolling out like the glasses and the watches and whatever other
wearable tech they can come up with, there's going to be no freedom anywhere.
If they can listen to you through your phone without you knowing and we know they have that
capability, they're going to be able to watch you through your glasses, even though, you know,
your glasses might say that they're off.
I have no interest in getting like the smart glasses though, at least not anytime soon.
until this stuff's figured out.
I don't understand the utility of that.
I guess I can probably get some of it,
but how would that work?
Like, you have glasses here and then you're looking at a computer.
How do you focus and read all that stuff?
Yeah, we live in a surveillance state.
You are spot on.
Escape the Matrix.
Like, One with the Cats, what did you say about here, Nets?
One with Cats.
My husband has the made of glasses.
I have to pay more attention to where he puts them.
Yeah.
he also uses the meta glasses instead of hearing aids
interesting
how about CNN reporting that Donald J. Trump
had highest approval rating
of rep a Republican at this time of presidency
than Obama and Bush
yeah there's um
there's yeah the polling and stuff that's
coming out about Trump and he's pulling very well within the
Republican Party no doubt
at this point one of the only things I like for AI's the awesome
soft disclosure ads yeah they're
they're pretty fun and we're actually um you know i don't know how close we are to like actually
developing this or rolling out with it but we are like scripting out a little series of our own
that we're going to be putting putting out a few of us and uh i think it'll be pretty funny
when we're able to pull it off but we're going to do all i like we're going to write the script
and have like a mini series type thing it's going to be a fun time i'm not currently believing
most of the polls is quite coney i think you're going to do all i think
interesting one about the one within the Republican Party.
It makes sense, and it kind of makes sense because of all the purity tests that's going on.
Like people who don't support Trump are basically excommunicated.
So, yeah, no matter what, he's going to be pulling well within the Republican Party.
Athens used a lottery system for representatives back in 500 BC.
Looks like the Swiss also did it for some positions until the 1800s.
Denmark did it briefly.
Francis III Republic briefly tried it.
I wonder how that would work.
If it would work, probably not.
You run the risk of like, you would definitely have to narrow the pool somehow
so that you don't get a bunch of retards.
But I like the idea of more so like, okay, these, you take a bunch of people who want to
from your state.
So let's say there's 20, 30, 40, 50, 50 people who want to run for government.
And then, uh, you do some sort of lottery system.
but then we wouldn't have our elections guys how would we how would we get to vote on it's not democracy
and they can rig the lottery usually catch the show live but i don't work on fridays and can chat
good to see a pen w some guy on rumble got all bent when he said massag blew up the school and
i demanded a link to where he went to come up with that i was accused of being a jew it's okay
guys we're all Jews here I'd rather AI and robotics run our government than these
criminals in government to see a panda droid yeah that's a I don't know I just
want less government much less if it exists at all I'm that short story of the
lottery when they won it the village stone them I don't remember that as long as we
have as long as we have I lotteried stickers that's hilarious oh that story that
Epstein won the lottery.
Do you guys know that's actually not true?
There's a different, I don't remember the name of his trust or whatever.
There was a different trust with the same name in a different state,
and that's the one that actually won the lottery.
It's somewhere in the files where they go through and debunk that,
but people don't like to talk about it.
But he didn't actually win the lottery.
I can probably find it.
Maybe you guys don't care.
I know people don't like when stories like that get debunked.
Yeah, it was the Zoro Trust.
And there was a different Zoro trust with the guy with a different name.
I'll find it later.
Okay, a couple of their stories.
I want to get into.
Speaking of Iran stuff,
Trump says no deal with Iran to end the war without unconditional surrender.
Because there's been these rumors of them trying to come to the table and talk.
And, you know,
whatever switch got flipped that got us into this conflict,
whether it was us doing it and bringing Israel in or Israel doing it and bringing us in or whatever.
I mean, at this point, it is what it is.
We're here, we're fighting it and whatnot.
And if you're Trump, you're already doing it.
That's the hardest part, like ripping the bandit off and okay, we're going to do it.
Whether you agree with it or not is an entirely separate issue.
But the fact that he's doing it, you got to do it right.
And I agree with this.
Unconditional surrender is the only path forward.
John, the Q adjacent Jew.
I'm the Q adjacent black tranny, illegal alien Jew.
if you're going to use my title, my full title, you've got to get it right.
I never heard the lottery story, and if I had, I wouldn't have paid attention to it
because I couldn't care less.
I'd rather be debunked than running around talking about and knowing false information.
I don't everybody feels that way.
I don't understand why.
That's another like thing where, you know, the movement, the truth community, this is
something I've been, I was talking to somebody who had sent some information over about,
like I had been mentioning purity tests and stuff the last couple of days.
days, weeks, whatever it's been.
And it's a real thing.
And I'll probably be talking more about this as we go for.
But there's like in every awakening, it follows a similar pattern.
There's like five stages of, of kind of truth movements and awakening movements.
And step three is, is like a fracture almost.
Like you form your beliefs and you kind of like get together and you start like researching stuff.
you know what I might even have
tell me if this sounds familiar
over processing I just got to scroll up
to find
the phases okay I think it was wrong I think it was six phases
where the heck is this
I want to tell you the wrong stuff so just
phase one discovery phase
curiosity
people notice contradictions
official narratives
phase two pattern recognition
phase core dynamic the community
starts organizing
information to theories and frameworks
and the canon
information phase. Certain narratives harden into orthodoxy. This sort of like people,
key influencers dominate discussion. Some theories become core doctrine. Newcomers
learn the accepted framework. Then stage four is the gatekeeping phase.
Influencers or experts decide acceptable interpretations. Critics inside the community get
labeled. Community becomes more ideological. When the purity spiral,
the community begins policing beliefs more than evidence.
increasing ideological rigidity, endless internal accusations, smaller factions splitting off,
and there's typically a collapse.
Internal fighting destroys credibility, the community fragments into microgroups.
That's why we are so against the purity test stuff, because it is so destructive and it's retarded.
And the truth can't stand for it.
Most yeah it just distill it down even further four phase discovery theory building
faction fighting credibility sorting in most most truth communities
will completely fall apart between stage three and four I'm just reading another
conversation I was having a chat GPT sorry it's just AI but I think it's notable
and that's why I think it's important to like when when you nobody's ever going to be
Right. And I hate the feeling of being wrong too and called out on it. I do. It's uncomfortable for everybody.
And then a lot of the times when people, you know, when you get caught being wrong, there's this weird internal mechanism in your brain that makes you double down on retard and like, no what? No, I'm going to be, I'm going to even like yell at you and scream and fight and cry because I'm not wrong. I'm right.
and they just abandon all logic and factual assertion.
It's just insane.
But everybody does it.
This is a thing.
Everybody goes through at some point.
It's very difficult to like step back and breathe for a minute and just like, okay, well,
yeah, I guess I was wrong there.
But it's very important to not get emotionally attached to stories for this reason.
If we're going to survive as a movement in the community,
going to need to be objective and truth seeking.
John thought he was wrong once, but he was.
was mistaken i love that quote talking about jb white i didn't i didn't watch the full episode last night
but i watched enough of it at the end and uh boy oh boy that's um you know jb's approach i would say
is not for everybody he oh i love him and i love i love the conflict not everybody can some people
find that to be unwatchable.
Personally, I think it's great.
I think friction like that is great.
I really do.
Because at the end of the show,
Alpha, J.B., Brian,
they're all bros still.
They all love each other still.
It's fine.
But they went at it.
Well, J.B. went at it.
It was pretty brutal.
Yeah, Jessica. It was bad.
I'm going to have to go back and watch the full episode.
I have just a whole list of things I need to catch up on
and watch
oh man it's 1258 already
jeez friction is good for lotion sales
indeed that's not why I push it
that's more of just a coincidence
even though coincidences
we're told don't exist
I think they they can
they can exist
I watch J.B on the regular says
MedBeds Coe J.B's
chat is something I look forward to
on Monday Wednesday Friday J.B is an early riser
let me some J.B. I love them too.
I find myself disagreeing
him frequently jb yeah i don't agree with jb much on many things but i'll like him it's a good time
and i know he means well that's the at the end of the day i know he cares just got a different approach
different beliefs i would think that trump should have had some chosen candidates already in mind
before the bombing should be a plan maybe he does you just don't know who they are yet
right now everybody they bring out like if um um
If Trump's plan is to replace the leadership there with his guy who he actually wants,
he definitely has that person picked out right now.
But instead he's going to let the bad guys keep nominating people into the position
so they can just keep taking them out until they're all gone.
Like right now, I think they're waiting to publicize who the next leader is going to be
because they don't want him to be killed.
But I have a feeling he's probably going to be killed anyway, before they even
announce it
yeah maybe iran just needs to trust the plan camp that's terrible
geaway pundit exiled crown prince of iran
resa palvi says he's accepted the role as iran's
transitional leader who gave him that like who
who offered him and asked him for him to accept
like no what i accept also to be iran's transitional leader
does that mean i'm going to be put in there no
baddlands me a fan teaching science
at home now friction slows and stops movement so I'm questioning if it's best
effect to local action national impact yeah that's um like actual friction in
terms of a moving object yes it does that but in my opinion when it comes to
progress like if we're trying to get from a point A to a point B okay and everybody's
gonna have a different idea of of which way to go and whatnot and how we do things
if there's no friction at all and trying to figure out what the right answer actually is and all there is is purity tests and you know if you don't agree with what this group of people is saying then then you're out of here and you're an infiltrator and you're paid and whatever and what if those people are on the wrong path then all of a sudden instead of getting from point a to point b you were over on point la la land way out there and you're kind of
screwed. So no, I think, yes, in terms of actual physics and how things work, friction, actual friction, slows movement. But in terms of what we're doing and how, like, this is not a, this is a metaphorical movement, not an actual, like, moving vehicle or something that can be slowed by friction. I think friction is the best path forward in all things. Ernest disagreement, earnest debate, the free flow of ideas, and no,
being ridiculed or shamed because they have a different idea.
That's the thing.
I mean, sometimes we might call you retarded if it's a retarded idea, but maybe it's not a
retarded idea.
People should not be afraid to say things just because people are going to disagree.
And that's what it's become in many areas everywhere.
Like not just the truth community.
It's so ideological and everything's a purity test and it's all so.
stupid and that's what we're against and you'll see in our chats like sometimes we're always on the
lookout for people to take advantage of of that of our viewpoint of like free and open debate and
disagreements and stuff and why we're very keen on like the good faith earnest disagreement
because there's a difference between that and people who come in and try to like subvert and talk
shit and whatever and troll us and hate and like that's the stuff we don't want that is
bad faith.
Bad faith is there's no place for bad faith disagreement or arguments or ad hominem attacks,
personal attacks, all those things.
And no, I don't think calling somebody retarded as a personal attack.
I think that's like more.
For me, that's more of a term of endearment.
But we are on the lookout for that in the chat.
So don't, don't be disingenuous.
And you can disagree with us all day long.
Yeah, but you need some purity tests or shit gets hijacked by people as well via sci-offs.
I don't think it can with an actual with an actual truth movement where people are pursuing the truth.
I don't think something like that can be hijacked.
It can only be hijacked by the purity test stuff because the purity test stuff will drive you astray if they want to.
I mean, unless you are 100% confident that the purity test aspect, like those people are right about everything,
they're going to be wrong about everything pretty much because you can't disagree.
You're not allowed to question the consensus.
I think it's very difficult to go astray when you're pursuing the truth at all times.
Because that's what should dictate things.
Whether you're wrong about things or right about things, it doesn't matter.
Your pursuit of the truth is what's going to get you to the right place.
In terms of endearment is probably John's favorite movie.
I don't even think I've actually seen that.
Kerry Gall says, I'm starting to get soft disclosure.
It's great conversations.
Truth will destroy everything it can.
if the truth destroys something, then it needed to be destroyed.
That is the dumbest thing.
And like, the reason I hate the argument is that, you know, these people, they can't tell us the truth because society would collapse and like all these bad things.
Maybe.
But if the truth is what does that, then those things shouldn't be protected in the first place.
HL 421.
I wonder if I'm still muted.
By the way, guys, if you find yourself in the chat or.
watching and you've been muted
along the way.
You can
reach out on DM or in telegram or somewhere
and ask to be unmuted. We will unmute
people at least
once, like good faith.
Good faith people who are like, yeah, I probably
went a little off, a little too hot,
and got muted or whatever. We'll definitely unmute you.
Repeat offenders, maybe not.
Most people, like, if you get muted, you're supposed to only be muted
for the rest of the show, not forever.
not everybody does that and there's a lot of people way back that are no longer with us that would
we caught going through muting people on a whim for no reason just to kind of inflict some pain upon us
and our fans but i think we we caught it early i heard the purity test test positive on gray food
can't coaxie i'm with you on that john if i can't handle the truth and i probably shouldn't
operate heavy machinery anyway guys i'm going to get out of here send you over to ghost i
think ghost is uh wait c and stewart says flin reminding us that there are 6500 plus american
patents being hoarded from the u.s or some flin sent out a email or whatever the other day and he
called it a war too guys not a military operation just you can uh you can transfer your anger
at me for calling at that to to him instead is he did it too i don't know i'm
Let me see if ghosts is even on today.
Yeah, he's on.
All right.
I'm going to get you guys out of here.
You guys have a good rest of your day.
Hit that thumbs up.
I will be back.
Wait, did I get Rumble Rans?
I did.
Lee Walden with two of them here.
Hoy John and crew.
I'm curious, the wolves at the gate were barking to remove Bondi and Trump's chief of staff.
I wonder if Noam was a card in the deck.
I mean, I just think Noam wasn't good at her job.
She sucked.
And her being honest, like, what are deportation number is great?
choosing some commercials.
But she wasn't, I don't know.
Hindsight 2020.
We'll have to go through that at some point, the actual numbers of her tenure in office
and whether or not she was really good or not.
But everybody wants to defend her and think she's awesome because Trump nominated her.
Lee Walden, we pray for the awakening and demand the reckoning.
Amen.
All right.
Thanks, everybody.
Hit the thumbs up.
I will see you tonight on Onlylands.
And then again tomorrow on the power hour.
But full disclosure, tomorrow's power is probably going to be, oh, dang it.
Last thing.
Almost forgot.
So tomorrow's power is going to be pre-recorded at some point.
I don't know if we're going to record this evening or tomorrow morning, but I'm going
out of town for a couple days, taking kids on the plane for the first time, like their own little
vacation.
Very excited.
But because of that, I will not be on the Daily Herald for Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
I'm going to try to find replacements,
but there is no guarantee that there will be a show Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, next week.
I'll let you guys know.
I'm going to ask around right now, but I will be back for Wednesday's power hour.
I won't be on basis, conspiracies, but Zach will find somebody.
Really should only affect my show, but I'll keep you guys posted.
Hit the thumbs up.
I'll see you tonight.
Have a good rest of your Friday.
