Badlands Media - The Daily Herold: 4/20/26 - Kash Patel's Promise, Brennan Probe & Iran Deal

Episode Date: April 20, 2026

It is Monday, which means Jon Herold is caffeinated, mildly sleep-deprived, and ready to sort through the week's most consequential news with the skepticism it deserves. Kash Patel went on Maria Barti...romo and dropped a bold promise: stay tuned this week, arrests are coming. Jon unpacks what that actually means, and why it sounds a little too familiar. The Brennan grand jury probe got a major shakeup with a new lead prosecutor, cooperating witnesses were subpoenaed in an unusual move, and Jon asks the uncomfortable question: PR stunt or real progress? John Solomon also dropped newly declassified documents blowing holes in the Ukraine impeachment narrative. On top of that, The Atlantic accused Kash Patel of excessive drinking, and he responded with a $250 million lawsuit. Plus, Trump is carpet bombing Truth Social with Iran deal posts, the ceasefire is ending Wednesday, the UAE wants a US bailout, and the FISA fight in Congress is a complete mess. Jon also shares an honest take on blackpilling versus hopium and why managing your expectations is the most patriotic thing you can do right now.

Starting point is 00:00:00 The Badlands, what are the Badlands? Explain those Badlands. That's a hell of their name. Well, good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to the Daily Herald here on Badlands Media. I'm your host, John Harold, and it is Monday. I think it's a little yet TBD, whether or not it's going to be a happy Monday or not. But it's not off to a terrible start. Other than I didn't sleep well last night.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Yesterday, it's such a vicious cycle, right? You get tired, and somehow you get tired. and somehow you fall asleep. And I'm not a nap guy, but I fell asleep for like an hour yesterday, and I played my girlfriend for not waking me up sooner. So I took like an hour nap. And then last time when I'm going to bed,
Starting point is 00:00:48 I like could not sleep because I took a nap during the day, like later in the afternoon. So I was like up all night and I got up early to do this stuff. And man, it was, it's been rough. But that's enough complaining for me. Hopefully that's the only complaining for me today, but no promises. We,
Starting point is 00:01:05 we're going to talk about some recent commentary. coming from the John Solomon Cash Patels of the world because they're telling us we're getting justice and it's soon, maybe even something starting this week. We've also had a change down in Florida, the grand jury, the person leading the prosecution in the Rico Grande case, you have what's his name, Joe Digenova taken over and they've been already making some moves. So we're going to talk about that and we're going to discuss whether or not we think we're being. placated or if this is real and I want to believe it's real but we'll talk about the whole thing I'll get your guys's thoughts on it as well um plus we got some Iran stuff the wars back on back on back off back off who knows where we're really at we got some Trump true
Starting point is 00:01:56 social posts a bunch of economic stories oh yeah cash Patel is suing uh who's he suing uh who's he suing somebody the Atlantic that's right for a whole butload of money for I would say a just cause. They called him a drunk. Probably shouldn't have done that unless you can absolutely prove it. But yeah, we'll see what happens. Let's get a quick word from our sponsors. First up today, we got Native Path.
Starting point is 00:02:24 These guys are great. This episode is brought to you by Native Path Antarctic krill oil, omega-3s, as a xanthin for heart joints, and memory. Imagine checking your lab results and your doctor looks genuinely surprised in a good way. Cholesterol, better. Inflammation markers, down. Joints, feels easier. That's what thousands of native path krill oil users are reporting, and it all comes from one tiny soft gel a day. If you've been taking fish oil for heart, joint, or memory support, there's something you need to know. Research shows fish oil is 50% less absorbable than krill oil, because fish oil,
Starting point is 00:03:00 omega-3s are in triglyceride form, while krill oils are in phospholipid form, which is the same format your cell walls are made of. That means krill oil gets into your cells immediately, and in head-to-head studies, krill oil, outperformed fish oil at improving cholesterol, reducing inflammation, and easing that joint pain, often that lower doses. Native Path Antarctic krill oil is sourced from pristine Antarctic waters, contains the powerful antioxidant azazanth and comes in tiny soft gel so you don't get any of those fishy burps. Starting point is 00:03:36 slash badlands. How are you guys doing the chat? hammer the guy 35 I hope cash doesn't sue me because I called him a bug-eyed Indian on Twitter you're probably safe hopefully safe I feel like he's been made fun of before
Starting point is 00:03:55 Polymathen on John has been practicing his pronunciation I've had to read that ad now a few times I've messed it up every single time now it's probably the best time like the best read I've done with with that astazanth maybe just one of those days maybe I need to be more tired so I focus on the words I'm saying more and I don't sound like a retard the bunny says no more rugs her ass is sore from
Starting point is 00:04:22 the pulls and we got 35 they got at cash is ensuing badlands yeah we wouldn't be able to afford that one aob 22 salty john but just a little sprinkle so panarchy let's start plugging away um good to see a pj first up no update on the doge website and at what point do i just stopped doing this as part of the show. Because, you know, I started this like, hey, new show we're doing. Trump got in there. Because I started this the day after Trump got inaugurated, like January 21st of 2025. And then as soon as they made this Department of Government Efficiency website, it's like,
Starting point is 00:05:12 this will be a fun thing to track. Let's see if we're actually, you know, saving money. A lot of people were looking forward to getting the fraud and waste and abuse exposed. And so I started following the website. And like the first update was great. It was a couple hundred million. Well, I guess not a couple hundred million. It was like a hundred billion or something.
Starting point is 00:05:30 And it's just slowly gone down every update since. And now we don't get updates on here anymore. And they've gone away from this. And now we're looking at the fraud task force with J.D. Vance. So I don't know. You guys tell me, should I just stop even checking the Department of Government Efficiency website, the least efficient website that the government has? Because they're never going to update it.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Oh, I did get an end, by the way, with Tim Burchett. I'm actually texting with his PR guy. We're going to schedule an interview. I don't know when, but I'm going to get him on the show at some point. So there's progress. And the reason I said that is because waste, fraud and abuse. His Twitter account, you know, it can be pretty base sometimes. And I don't trust anybody in government.
Starting point is 00:06:16 I don't trust any elected officials. But I like to talk to the base ones, especially. And he has been very critical and kind of made fun of, paying taxes at sometimes. So I want to ask my question. I'm looking forward to it. And I think he might be on a, um, DEFCon zero tomorrow. Don't call me on that, but I think so. Uh, gold and silver. Silver is a $80.73. Gold at 4,800. Bitcoin is currently at 75,600. And the only update on the presidential website is this one, accelerating medical treatments for serious mental illness.
Starting point is 00:06:53 And I think this is what he signed over the weekend with Joe Rogan in. Oh, Ibo Gain. Yep. Psychedelic drugs. This is being used as an attack factor against him by a lot of the disingenuous haters. I saw MTG was like using this to go after him. We're normalizing psychedelics now. I think it's stupid.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Tracing in that it's been 87 years and still no update on the Doge website. You know, at this point, like I might as well put that. on my tombstone like no update on the doge website it's ridiculous the c h in burschette is a hard c h it's not french burchette oh dang did i just was this supposed to be a secret i don't know because there's another person that they're going to be interviewing soon that is pretty cool maybe it's i don't know which ones when so my bad ooh t mcc c cool never seen him in the chat coming in asking a hard-hitting question burquette i blew it just don't tell them guys please don't tell them damn it guys i didn't see this the thing if you're going to tell me
Starting point is 00:08:16 something you have to be like hey because i'm great to keeping secrets if you want me to keep a secret i have kept so many secrets you guys wouldn't even believe how good at secret keeping i am the worst kept secret out there is how good i am at keeping secrets you have to tell me it's a secret in order for me to keep it. If you don't tell me it's a secret, everybody's going to know. This is not my fault. This is their fault. Just don't tell them. So I don't want them to be mad of me. Not that they will be. They don't care. And you guys are very like, don't worry. Before I get Bershette or Bacette or Bichette on, we will nail down exactly how to say his name. So maybe throughout the interview, I'll just say multiple different ways.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Lee Walden. Hi, John. Take Doge off. The next day will go on the with a blockbuster. That would be funny. To stop covering the Doge and they start updating the website like every day. Jay White, 2020, should do a cut of John saying no update on the Doge website. That would be a very easy show to like put together. Just an entire show of me saying no update on the Doge website and complaining about it. ZigZAC, where do I email my deepest secrets for you to never
Starting point is 00:09:42 reveal. Best email. I mean, we have a contact email on the website. You can probably email me them on. Actually, do I have my email in my Twitter bio? I don't even remember. Man, the show's off to a hot start right now. No, it's not on the website anymore. John at Badlands Media.org, but I typically don't respond. I'm not great at responding.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Mimi, boys, John is the best social at the F-Up. John, no disrespect, Cici. Thank you. Thank you, me, boys. What did Cici say? Is she talking? No, of course she's not. She would never. That's our own 11 since Mr. and Mrs. Met, hugged mom, dummy. That is so funny. I love, I love those kind of things in sports. Like when you get on, you get on tilt and you try to like blame all different sorts of things. You come up with the weirdest things. So funny. Sue Bell 62 found bad lines a few weeks ago. Appreciate you all.
Starting point is 00:10:42 appreciate you as well welcome and tell all your friends we do our best around here oh by the way we are updating the schedule so g money we love g money he um going into summer he's got some traveling coming up he's he's also feeling a little burnt out on his on his message and i totally get that i feel like not just people doing shows get burnt out but the audience is getting burnt out at some of the news cycle um but he's going to be cutting back to like one maybe two shows a month and he's just going to kind to do it whenever he wants to and he'll still come on do only lands and stuff probably show up at garts but uh he doesn't want to do his thursday night primetime show anymore at least not right now so we are altering the schedule a little bit story hour is going to be moving to thursday nights
Starting point is 00:11:28 um and i think no i think the schedule is probably out on our twitter by now but let me just double check yeah so yeah story hour is moving to thursday night i think why we've vote is eventually going to be switching to a different spot as well. Maybe book club. I don't remember. There's been a couple of changes with Ashen Canc on and when they do their show too. And then yeah, we're going to be constantly looking for new content and new, new folks.
Starting point is 00:12:02 If we can find good folks, it's the hard thing. It's so hard to find good people. I would say potentially impossible to find good people. Yeah, we'll see what happens. So there's an update for you. New website, bad secrets.com. Good to see a Kudjo. I mean,
Starting point is 00:12:23 he's not going anywhere. He's still part of the Badlands crew. He's just, he's like, how many times can you tell people to buy Bitcoin and not pay their taxes before, like the message gets stale almost? Like he's,
Starting point is 00:12:36 and I totally get this. It's like you try to come up with content, good content for people to consume, but when that's like your message, it's hard to do that and make it feel new and unique. So, is what it is. Is there another Bitcoin dude to do one?
Starting point is 00:12:52 That is one thing I'm thinking of. There's a couple of people out there at my eye on to potentially bring in the full. But it's so hard right now, guys, with the economy doing what it's doing, we know how much people are struggling. And it's been like slowly trending, you know,
Starting point is 00:13:09 that way for a while now. And speaking to people, it's kind of an interest to why I think people are feeling the pinch. And that translates, on to us. And so we have a rev share pool that we have at Badlands. And the more people we bring into Badlands, the less it takes from everybody else. And it's already like not a lot. So it's hard to do that. But okay, I'm going to keep moving on and stop, stop venting and complaining if that's kind of what it feels like I'm doing. Let's talk about this. Cash Patel went on Maria Bataromo
Starting point is 00:13:43 and said a couple things. But this is the big one. This is the one I think I want to talk about the most today. Maybe we should do, I mean, I played last week the video of John Solomon on with Benny Johnson talking about the hypersonic clarity D-class stuff that he said is going to be coming really quick. I don't know if I mentioned this on this show, but I did mention on Saturday. There's a new prosecutor down in Florida. and so this this was a story that came out April 17th that would have been Friday I don't remember if I covered on the show
Starting point is 00:14:21 the Justice Department has removed long time Miami federal prosecutor Maria Medidis long from leading the criminal investigation to former CIA director John Brennan after she refused to accelerate charges they have replaced her with that Joe D. Genova guy and this is already what happened down there in that case this is from CBS News this was just a couple hours ago cooperating witnesses in criminal probe of ex-CIA director
Starting point is 00:14:47 John Brennan subpoenaed to testify before the grand jury sources say now one of the interesting things about this whole move the shakeup of like getting a different attorney in there prosecutor a lot of the people and again I may be repeating myself because I do not remember if I said this last week I know I'm repeating myself based on what I said on Saturday but a lot of the people who have been covering the rush gate stuff and like this is their thing there's a whole like little corner of Twitter, the Hans-Manski's of the world, the Undead Foya. There's like 10, 10 of these Twitter guys, and they just almost exclusively talk about this stuff and dig into this stuff, and they've been very good.
Starting point is 00:15:24 They're not very optimistic about what this actually might mean for the Rico Grande case and the Rushgate and actually getting accountability. They're like, this is stuff that should have been done. We're basically almost feels like starting from scratch, getting another attorney in there now at this stage in the game when this is supposed to been going on for like a year and a half like that's absurd and i i definitely agree with that that sentiment like to be changing the lead prosecutor in a case of this scale when this is what so many people are looking to for accountability and justice like that is that is not a great sign but so this de janova guy gets in there
Starting point is 00:16:05 and one of the first things he does is he subpoenas cooperating witnesses this former senior intelligence and FBI officials who are cooperating with the U.S. Justice Department's criminal probe into whether former CIA director John Brennan lied to Congress were subpoenaed over the weekend to testify before a grand jury in Washington, D.C., according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. My first thought on this was like, if you have a cooperating witness, you don't have to subpoena those people. They're cooperating.
Starting point is 00:16:35 You just ask them to come in and testify. You don't need a subpoena to do it. And I even Googled that like, yeah, that's pretty kind of weird, uncommon to subpoena cooperating witnesses. They were sent out shortly after the Justice Department appointed conservative Trump ally Joe D. Genova formally to take over the criminal investigation into Brennan after the career prosecutor handling the case was removed late last week. He's a staunch loyalist to President Trump, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:17:06 The cooperating witnesses are scheduled to appear before the grand jury, as soon as this week, sources said, many of them have been cooperating with the probe and were already scheduled to sit down for interviews with FBI agents and prosecutors before the new grand jury subpoenas came out over the weekend. The decision to abruptly reschedule the voluntary interviews from cooperators and asked for in-person grand jury testimony
Starting point is 00:17:28 is unusual legal experts told CBS. Customarily, such interviews are conducted outside of the grand jury and agents later provide details from them to grand jurors, but what the witnesses told them to oath. Move could be an effort by D.Genova to use every avenue possible after grand jurors in Washington, D.C., have increasingly declined to indict targets in cases that were widely perceived as politically motivated. So you can look at this two ways. Like, is this him being, and maybe more ways, but in my head, you can look at this a couple ways. Is this
Starting point is 00:17:56 D. Genova coming in and like, this is what we need. We're taking the case in this direction. We're going to bring these people in, even though they're already cooperating. But the fact that they were already cooperating and where I'm leaning with this is this seems like a like a move more than anything you got to imagine the Trump administration the FBI the DOJ they feel the pressure from the public on like the demand for accountability and justice over all the things that we've had to put up with for 10 12 years whatever it's been they feel that too and they've there has been a lot of a lot of promises that have been made to us expectations even though I say
Starting point is 00:18:39 we got a temporary expectations. These people have set their expectations for us very high. We were told we're going to get to the bottom of this stuff. Trump releasing the Epstein files, that was never one of his campaign promises. That was ascribed to him. He never actually said that we've gone over that many times. But getting to the bottom of like the stolen election,
Starting point is 00:19:02 the Russia gate, spy gate, the impeachment hoax, COVID, the political persecution, all that stuff. that was campaign promises Trump did bring that stuff up repeatedly and still does and that's why I think many of us still have our foot on the rug I think it's kind of justified but I don't love
Starting point is 00:19:24 that this feels like a PR move you don't need a subpoena cooperating witness unless you want it to be a story that you're doing it to make it seem like yeah we got movement here we're still working on it and then Cash Patel does go on Maria Barteromo and this is what he says I'm trying not to be like too pessimistic about it. I'm being the skeptic that I normally am in the realist.
Starting point is 00:19:47 And he's just said this before. We've heard this from the administration more than once. And it's like the boy who cried wolf. Like how many times can you tell us? Like, hey, justice has come and just wait, it's coming. Maybe this week even. Just wait, guys. Maybe this week.
Starting point is 00:20:05 But that's not happen. And then eventually we're just like, okay, well, You guys suck. Take a listen. We are not going to take this and have not taken this laying down. We did already indict former director Comey and that's going through the judicial process. But we also at this FBI, even though we uncovered what we uncovered back in the house Intel days, I had to come in here and find rooms that they hid from the world.
Starting point is 00:20:29 I had to come in here and find access on our computer systems in restricted and prohibited case files that they purposely put in places for no one to see and find. We have found all this information. We are working with our Department of Justice partners. And I am never going to let this go because they not only personally attacked the presidency of the United States and President Trump, but they tried to thwart our elections and rig the entire system. And that is not something that is going to stop on it. That is not something I'm going to allow on my wife.
Starting point is 00:20:56 But you just have to remember. They built this disease temple over 20 and 30 years. We've got all the evidence. I can announce on your show that we've got all the information we need. We're working with our prosecutors, the Department of Justice, and their Attorney General of Tom. Blanche and we are going to be making arrest and it's coming and I promise you it's coming soon. Well, Cash, hold on because when you started this interview, you said, Maria, you and I have been working together for a long time and this is exactly what you were referring to. You were
Starting point is 00:21:23 on my show repeatedly talking about the Russia collusion story and our audience wants to know why there's never any accountability. But specifically the question that I asked you was about election integrity and whether or not you have any information to verify what President Trump says all the time, which is the election was rigged. That's what I asked you, Cash. I'm sorry, Maria, I misheard. Yes. So what we are doing is folding that into our entire conspiracy case, and we will let the prosecution speak for him. But we have the information that backs President Trump's claim, but because it's an ongoing prosecution investigation, I can't get ahead of the DOJ and the president. But President Trump speaks truthfully when he says that. And that's
Starting point is 00:22:06 what I've been talking about. When we find, of data on computers from from the last 10 years that we were supposed to find 10 years ago. That's what it took. It took his reelection. It took this FBI to go in there and find it. And it takes a long time to get through that material. But I would say stay tuned this week. You might see a thing or two.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Stay tuned this week. You might see a thing or two. And I'm reading the chat here. And again, I'm not trying to blackmail. I don't want you guys to black pill either because I think blackpilling is one of the most dangerous things. You know, that can have the most dangerous effect on the movement. and like just your your own personal growth possible like you don't want a black pill i'm not trying to
Starting point is 00:22:44 do that but i also think i have a different take on what it means to black pill a lot of people are like if you're not positive about everything and like hopeful and taking the hopium and like assuming all these things are coming then you're black pill that's that's not my approach my my approach to not black pilling is setting realistic expectations with things so that when things don't live up to the high hopium expectations, you don't risk the black pill. If your expectations are here and things come in here, you're not going to blackfill. But if your expectations are up here and things coming down here, you're going to black pill. Especially if that's like repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly.
Starting point is 00:23:22 You want your expectations to match what happens in reality. Like you want those two things to be as close as possible, which is why I talk about things the way that I do. I think it prevents people from blackpilling. some people don't appreciate that and they just want the hopium and the BS and so they'll go find that and that's totally cool but those are people that will ultimately end up blackpilling the hardest so i don't know what to make of this like i know cash Patel wrote government gangsters i know he knows where the bodies are buried i know he's he knows the intimate details of this stuff and i know that justice takes time like people say that a lot i get it but it doesn't really have to i don't think i think that's an excuse we give because we've seen many examples where the enemy the deep state they will go after people and do so quickly when there is no there there so why do we have to go slow when there is a there there you should be able to go much quicker when you actually have evidence of a crime than those who don't have any evidence it should be easier to do and then you come back to
Starting point is 00:24:41 this firing of the official, the change now the prosecutor. It's kind of difficult for me to look at that and be like, that's a good sign. This person has been working there for how long a year on this case? Like, when did we start talking about the Rico Grande conspiracy case? I'm pretty sure it was like June of 2025-ish sometime around there. So we started getting declassified documents. The person that was leading that, this prosecution, at least against John Brennan, having to get swapped out at this stage in the game,
Starting point is 00:25:12 that does not feel like a good thing. It to me is more evidence of holdovers from the deep state that are thwarting Trump's agenda. And I understand Trump cannot like do everything himself. He cannot set up this like he needs to rely on people to do this. And it's that's the hard part. We don't know who the white hats are and the black hats and whatever the gray hats. Like we don't know what we don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:42 John, what is the return policy at the rug store? There are no returns. Okay, John just got an alert that Tucker dropped an episode with his son Buckley. Ooh, I wonder if he's going to spill some tea on the Vance stuff where he used to work, the administration. And now I know a lot of what I'm saying too is like, okay, if they come out with prosecutions and justice and all these things tomorrow and everything I said right now is totally a moot point because, hey, we got it tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:26:15 We finally got all the things we've been asking for. Then great. But the way I've been. been looking at this and the way I even look that people won't be able to walk down the street we talked about this a little bit at Garton Deadwood or Nashville which by the way get your Gart Deadwood tickets it's going to be awesome to me the and I've said this for a long time actually when when you talk about people not being able to walk down the streets that implies they have the freedom to do so you know what I mean so like there are going to be people that we know
Starting point is 00:26:50 know should be in prison, but they're not. And the reason they can't walk down the streets is because everybody knows like how, how big a scumbags they are. I think we have to be prepared for that kind of outcome. Like they're going to be declassifying a whole bunch of stuff. We're going to get more evidence of all the things that we've known to be true for a long time. And we may not see the people that we know deserve to be in prison in prison. I bet we'll get we'll get some. We'll get some probably lower level stuff. I hope we get some big names. I hope we get the Brennan's, the Comys, the Clintons, the Obamas, these top-level people,
Starting point is 00:27:31 the McCabe's, the stroke, Lisa Page. Every one of those people, in my opinion, deserves to be behind bars for what they've put this country through. And the media is right up there with them, many people in the media for what they've been doing. But I'm skeptical we're going to see that kind of level of justice. And but right now, like, they have to follow through on this. Cash Patel comes out and says, what was this exact quote? And let me rewind just a little bit.
Starting point is 00:28:07 ...puters from the last 10 years that we were supposed to find 10 years ago. That's what it took. It took his reelection. It took this FBI to go in there and find it. And it takes a long time to get through that material. But I would say stay tuned this week. You might see a thing or two. Stay tuned this week.
Starting point is 00:28:23 You might see a thing or two. And that's in the election front, by the way. So we better see something this week. And again, John Solomon just last week was kind of hinting at the same thing. It feels like there's something coming this week. According to these people, I hope they follow through.
Starting point is 00:28:39 I hope they exceed my already low expectations. Because my expectations have slowly gotten lower and lower, the longer it has gone on. There's still so much, so much that needs to be done. Anyway, I'll move on from that. Let's talk about this real quick, too. This was John Solomon talking about Ukraine impeachment on Bannon.
Starting point is 00:29:05 The second that Bob Mueller said Donald Trump didn't engage in Russia collusion, many of the same actors began concocting a story on Ukraine. Now, in fairness, I wrote the first stories in March of 2019 at the Hill that said Joe Biden ragged about firing the prosecutor, who was investigating his son's company, Burisma, And that's what started it. Then New York Times and ABC News confirmed my reporting. Then the deep state got really panicked. And so just like they did on Russia, where they had to solve a Hillary Clinton problem,
Starting point is 00:29:36 Hillary Clinton had a Russia problem. And they hug a fake Russian shingle on Donald Trump's campaign house. Joe Biden suddenly had a corruption quid pro quo problem in Ukraine. So they went turned around and hung a fake quid pro quo Ukraine problem around Donald Trump's. And by the way, later this week, you're going to see a story to see just how deeply involved the Russia collusion people were in prompting the Ukraine impeachment. So that's that wash, rinse, repeat cycle that we talked about. It happens four times. Hillary Clinton's got a problem that Donald Trump ends up with Russia collusion.
Starting point is 00:30:10 Joe Biden's got a Ukraine problem. Donald Trump ends up with Ukraine impeachment. Joe Biden's got a classified document problem. Donald Trump ends up with a Mar-a-Lago raid. Joe Biden's got a cognitive problem. Doesn't look viable for 2024. form, they decide to go back and years later and try to make a case on January 6 against President Trump saying that the electors were somehow inappropriate to do, even though they had been done twice in history. So now we know that Ukraine impeachment wasn't just based on a faulty whistleblower, whistleblower who had only hearsay knowledge had misled the investigation and had serious biases.
Starting point is 00:30:45 That's the news we broke last week, compliments of Tulsi Gabbard. Today, I put out four more sets of documents that show that testimony in the impeachment trial was clearly wrong. It was clearly false. One of those testimonies was that Hunter Biden, the State Department officials testified, had no impact on the U.S. efforts and policy in Ukraine specifically relating to fighting corruption. I put out today, I once classified email between George Kent, the guy who won the bow tie at the impeachment trial and Maria Vanovich, the ambassador to Ukraine, that showed. that they agreed that Hunter Biden had undercut Ukraine Ukrainian anti-corruption efforts. That is a powerful email. It directly challenges the narrative that Democrats put forward and the testimony that they put forward. There are three other great examples that I put out about
Starting point is 00:31:33 that today. Joe Biden said for the longest time, I only fired the prosecutor because that's what the career people wanted. Today I put out the recommendation of the career people. They praised that prosecutor, Victor Shokin, sent them a letter saying, that a boy, good job, and then recommended that Ukraine get the $1 billion. And Joe Biden, and Joe Biden alone and change that recommendation that documents out there. And there's some other examples of that. Five examples of stories that were told to support impeachment and to support the impeachment trial. And they are now contradicted by official government documents that I spent seven years suing to get.
Starting point is 00:32:02 But we got them now. The fact that he, I mean, maybe it's not true. He says that he spent seven years suing to get it and that's how he got these. I probably believe that's not true. Probably he's given these documents. One would help. If we're going to get the justice and accountability that we want and deserve, he was given these documents. he didn't have to sue to get him what does it mean where does it go from here i mean this is again
Starting point is 00:32:25 the the the the biden storyline this is it's it's such a rerun we've known about this for so damn long i've written about my series so many people out there have written about this topic the biden firing of the prosecutor the billion dollar quid pro quo and then how they somehow tried to turn that on trump for his own little quit quid pro quo the whole thing is so stupid the biden family is still walking around free hunter bide was working on a oil and gas i mean it's just absurd and to think we're just now getting like a oh yeah guys we were right about that and not a freaking prosecution on any of these people at this point that's silly it's a little silly but this week i think we're going to get more from john solomon
Starting point is 00:33:11 hopefully more from cash patel i'm curious to see what direction they go with this this election thing going back to that cash patel video i'm just trying to think what it could be because we have the open Georgia, Fulton County thing going on. There's rumors of stuff from Arizona. We need more. We need to decertify, essentially, get to the 270 electoral college votes,
Starting point is 00:33:33 get Joe Biden below that from three states. We have Georgia. Arizona should be easy. Then you need like, what, a Michigan, Pennsylvania, something like that. Again, I've talked about this before. That's where this needs to go.
Starting point is 00:33:47 It'd be nice if it got there before the midterms. But I'm curious to see if it, exceeds expectations or not. This is the big story from another big story from Cashbell over the weekend. The Atlanta came out. The FBI director is MIA. Cash Patel's alarmed colleagues with episodes
Starting point is 00:34:05 of excessive drinking and unexplained absences. They say that he recently had a panic episode after a routine computer login issue, wrongly believing he had been fired and urgently calling AIDS and allies about it. his supposed emotional reactions spread quickly inside the FBI, leading to confusion over who is running the bureau, and in some quarters, quiet relief at the prospect that he might be gone.
Starting point is 00:34:31 The access problem was later determined to be a technical error. He's remaining in his position. Current informal officials say Patel figures he will lose his job, pointing to concerns about episodes of excessive drinking and his inclusion on an informal list of officials expected to be fired after Attorney General Pam Bondi's removal. Senior Trump administration figured, years are already discussing possible replacements and some FBI officials describe Patel is rightly paranoid about his job security. I think this is interesting. Who knows if it's true or not?
Starting point is 00:34:58 That's the thing. We haven't heard a peep from Trump other than like, no, Cash Patel's doing great. I'd have a hard time believe in Trump would actually fire Cash Patel. I know a lot of people are not happy with him. I think there's been a lot of really good things that have happened in terms of law enforcement in this country. But the stuff that people are looking at are the things where were falling short. And I don't necessarily pin that on Cash Patel. But what is interesting is the articles that I went through, and I think I even went through on the show after the firing of Pam Bondi, which was after the firing of, what's her name, Princess Barbie Barbie Barbie, Christy Noem. They were like starting to set that narrative that there are all these other people that are on this
Starting point is 00:35:38 list and that Trump's going to go through and fire them all right before the election. He was originally going to wait, but, you know, now his midterm prospects aren't looking good. going to fire all these people. Cash Patel is on that list. Now this is like a follow-up story, almost seemingly full of BS, which they are, they're using to frame that narrative.
Starting point is 00:36:00 I don't think Trump will fall for it. I don't think Trump, I really don't think Trump's actually going to fire him. Like, could you imagine if that does happen? If Trump fires Cash Patel, where would that put you in terms of your expectations for justice and accountability? Because I see some people in the chat who are still on the rug,
Starting point is 00:36:19 which is totally fine i'm a little bit on the rug too not enough to get rug burn but i'm only on the rug because i like i just i need something it's got to be one rug i'm partially on right but what what happens then if if this story's true there's some truth to it and trump does let cash patel go where does that put you i'm just curious but anyway because of this article cash patel is suing the atlantic cash patel sues the atlantic for 250 million dollars over alcohol abuse claims. Assuming it's the Atlantic and its reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick in federal court in Washington, D.C., alleging defamation from an article that reported he has abused alcohol,
Starting point is 00:37:03 seeks $250 million. The Atlantic said it stands by its reporting on Patel and called his lawsuit meritless. You have to show actual malice to win. That's a tough bar to climb. But, you know, I've been called way worse things than an abuser of alcohol. I just wish the degenerates that have said those things about me had any money because I would love to sue somebody for $250 million. And I have a way better case I bet than Cash Patel does. Actually, I know I have a better case.
Starting point is 00:37:35 There's just completely waste of money. Like what's the point of winning a case where they have no money to, like their fundraising further legal claims already? How are you going to win back your money? It's a futile effort. Penn W is on the rug. Escape the Matrix. It puts me right where I am right now, working in stacking sets. That's what you should be doing.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Anarchy, the consequences for a country are too devastating to think about if these demons aren't held accountable. I have to stand on the rug. Yeah, I mean, it's not even our fault for being on the rug. Like, we've been put on this rug by the things these people have said. Joe Jesus. Oh, gee, come on. Nobody in D.C. has an alcohol problem. Ramone 222.
Starting point is 00:38:36 I'm on the flying carpet. New case, is there anywhere else to stand besides standing on the rug anyway? That's true. That's a great way to put it. Like the way the new cycle is working right now with so many different things. Like it's it's kind of boring. It's fairly repetitive. We're just like it feels like everybody's just waiting for something.
Starting point is 00:38:58 It's like we're all just on this rug. We don't even know what rug it is. But we're all just on this like big rug waiting for either it to get pulled or us to get what happens if how does that work? Because we always talk about rug pulls, right? You're standing on the rug, you get pulled.
Starting point is 00:39:17 What is it when a rug doesn't get pulled? What do you get? Phil Scarborough one foot on the rug. They threw a day of a few rugs, but I use them as wall hanging. It's much safer. You jump at the right time. Rugs all the way down. A lot of people with
Starting point is 00:39:41 toes on the rug. Yeah, what happens if what happens when you're on a rug, but it doesn't end up being a rug? And it doesn't get pulled out. Does that mean it was never a rug? Obviously, it means it was never a rug as in terms of how we describe it. That means it would be carpet. I'm more of a hard word floor guy, if I'm being honest, even though I do have some carpet.
Starting point is 00:40:10 But yes, that's what it just feels like right now, it's not to use a cue phrase, but I'm going to as the leading cue adjacent promoting figure, it feels like a calm before the storm, but we don't know if it's a storm. We don't know what's coming, but it feels like, we're just all in this holding pattern and holding period waiting for something to happen that we may never know will happen. Bone 2-2-2.
Starting point is 00:40:42 What if your dog drags their butt on the rug? I feel like that's a sign of worms, isn't it? And I feel like we have some sponsors that can probably help with that. And Phil Scarborough, what's the, what's the, what's the Scotus thing? Or the, sorry, the Clement thing. We're in limbo.
Starting point is 00:40:57 That's a good way to put it. Would anyone be here without the rugs? I'm still all in on the devolution rug. I mean, I'm all in on that too. That's the thing I'm starting to, like, the longer we go without getting that new national security strategy, I'm starting to, like, fully believe that Trump never actually pulled us out of it. But I don't know. Real quick, I'm going to get a word in from another sponsor, and then we'll keep going.
Starting point is 00:41:26 I have other stories we can get to. But that other sponsor is Rumble Wallet, our good friends over at Rumble Wallet. These guys have been great. Rumble itself, Rumble Studio, always looking for ways. to support the creator economy, and this is one of those ways. YouTube, super chat, when you give a gift on YouTube or on Twitch, while we totally appreciate it, they can take up to 50% in fees for that, which is absurd.
Starting point is 00:41:54 But Rumble has a way where you can give nearly 100% directly to the creator, zero fees, and that is with Rumble wallet. You can super chat with Bitcoin, Tether U.S.D, or even Tether Gold Stable Coins. The tip shows up directly in the Rumble. chat and we'll read it as we always do and all you need to do is download the rumble wallet on the app store and send the tips to your favorite creators you can also download it at wallet.rumbull.com you know we talk about badlands media dot TV uh badlands media dot tv slash river where you can get bitcoin you can send it over to rumble wallet stored in there keep stacking your sats and then as it goes up
Starting point is 00:42:30 you can gift a little it's a great way to do it but an awesome technology to support the creators here at badlands again that's wallet.rumbl.com or directly from the app store big shout out to rumble for creating this technology. All right, let's keep going. What else? There's a few other big stories I wanted to talk about. Got to find them. Yeah, Trump has been talking about the ceasefire.
Starting point is 00:42:59 He says the ceasefire ends Wednesday evening. It's highly unlikely he'll extend it. Don't know what that means. Probably not a good thing. There's a few true social posts we can look at here. Let's go back to, we'll start with this. one. So over the weekend, he did talk about Israel a little bit, like them being strong and
Starting point is 00:43:24 like awesome. And he's kind of like totally leaning into the people who are giving him shit about Israel. And this is what he has to say. Israel never talked me into the war with Iran. The results of October 7th added to my lifelong opinion that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon did. I watch and read the fake news, pundits and polls and total disbelief. 90% of what they say are lies and made up stories.
Starting point is 00:43:45 And the polls are rigged, much as the 2020. presidential election was rigged. Just like the results in Venezuela, which the media doesn't like talking about. The results in Iran will be amazing. If Iran's new leaders, regime change, are smart. Iran can have a great and prosperous future, President Donald Trump. Again, he's just all over the map, carpet bombing the narrative. 90% of what the media says are lies, totally believe it.
Starting point is 00:44:08 The polls are rigged, much like a 2020 presidential election, but he often cites their polls for his own approval rating. It's just funny. how he does that. But I would say this this 90% of what they say our lies is even higher than that. And I also would say that what him and his administration are saying, it's the same thing. Everybody's lying all the time. That's what's so stupid. We're just, we're just trying to find the truth, trying to figure out what's going on. It's very difficult to do when all you get is lies all the time. But we will persist. This is another one 10 minutes ago. This is new.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Very nice of Trump to give us some content while. or mid-show here. The deal that we are making with Iran will be far better than the JCPOA, commonly referred to as the Iran nuclear deal penned by Barack Hussein Obama and Sleepy Joe Biden, one of the worst deals ever made having to do with security of our country. It was a guaranteed road to a nuclear weapon, which will not and cannot happen with the deal we are working on. They actually gave $1.7 billion in green cash.
Starting point is 00:45:14 I bet people are decoding that because he said 1.7, loaded into a Boeing 757, I'm sure that's probably being decoded somehow too, and flown to Iran for Iranian leadership to spend any way they saw fit. He emptied out all the cash from banks in D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Those bankers said they've never seen anything like that before. In addition, hundreds of billions of dollars was paid to Iran. If I did not terminate that deal, nuclear weapons would have been used on Israel and all over the Middle East, including our cherished U.S. military bases.
Starting point is 00:45:44 The fake news, like lightweight Washington Post journalist David Ignatius, loves to talk about the JCPOA knowing that it was dangerous and a complete embarrassment for our country. The deal happens under Trump, it will guarantee peace, security and safety, not only for Israel and the Middle East, but for Europe, America and everywhere else. It will also be, or sorry, it will be something that the entire world will be proud of instead of the years of embarrassment and humiliation that we've been forced to suffer due to incompetent and cowardly leadership. President Donald J. Trump. And we have this one. Man, that's another long one. the Democrats are doing everything possible to hurt the very strong position we are in with respect to Iran.
Starting point is 00:46:21 Despite World War I lasting four years, three months and 14 days, World War II lasting six years and one day. And Korean War lasting three years, one month and two days. How many of these can we decode here? You get a 14 and a three. That's a 17. We got a six, a four, a one. That's 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 7. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:46:42 We have two 17s. That's amazing. the Vietnam War lasting 19 years, five months, and 29 days. I feel like we could probably figure out a way to make that make 17. And Iraq lasting eight years, eight months and 28 days. I'm going to have to, I'm going to have to like pull out an Excel spreadsheet to decode these things here shortly. I promise six weeks to defeat Iran. Or they like to say that I promised six weeks to defeat Iran.
Starting point is 00:47:07 And actually, from the military standpoint, it was far faster than that. But I'm not going to let them rush the United States into making a deal that is not as good as it could have been. I read the fake news saying that I'm under pressure to make a deal. This is not true. I'm under no pressure whatsoever, although it will happen all relatively quickly. Time is not my adversary. The only thing that matters is that we finally, after 47 years, straighten out the mess that other presidents let happen because they didn't have the courage or foresight to do what had to be done with respect to Iran. We're in it and it will be done right.
Starting point is 00:47:40 And we won't let the weak and pathetic Democrats, traders all who for years have been talking about the dangers of Iran and that something has to be done. done, but now since I'm the one doing it, but little day accomplishments of our military and the Trump administration, this is being perfectly executed on the scale of Venezuela, just a bigger, more complex operation. The result will be the same. In my first term, I built the greatest military our country has ever seen, including adding space force. In my second term, I am properly and judiciously using our military to solve problems left to us by others of far less understanding or competence. Make America great again, President Donald Trump. That was a doozy to read.
Starting point is 00:48:11 this is like another rerun of last week and the week before that and the week before that we're on the verge of it all the people like we're on the verge of peace and all the people that were like cheerleading Trump the whole way are like oh see I told you so and then all the people that are anti-Trump are like well it hasn't happened yet and see I told you so and it's just back and forth and I feel like Trump is going to drag this on for a while because of what it does the effect it has, the discombobulation it has on the social media intuance or world. I'm here for it. It is what it is. But yeah, the deal ends. Let me see if I can find the article I had on it. I thought I had an article on it.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Maybe not. Maybe I'll get to, because I have a lot of tabs. I want to go through here real quick. So let's start with this. FISA fight weighs on GOP priorities. The FISA punt is setting up a chaotic stretch on Capitol Hill with GOP infighting now threatening to jam up another Republican, other Republican priorities. After a dramatic collapse on the House floor, GOP leaders have 10 days to find a path forward on Section 702. Time he couldn't be worse. President Donald Trump's June 1 deadline to pass immigration enforcement funding
Starting point is 00:49:29 and reopened DHS is fast approaching. The whole thing is stupid, the FISA fight. I don't think we should have FISA at all. Trump agreed with that previously, at least on social media he did. He does not agree with that anymore. They want to pass us through. Anna Panino Banka is a tent. to tie the voter ID to it.
Starting point is 00:49:48 It's like, yeah, we'll agree to pass this, but you need to give us voter ID. And I hate it. I hate it. You can't sit here and tell me that like this FISA thing is, it's going to infringe upon your rights as the American citizen. But we'll, well, whatever. We'll, we'll allow them to do that as long as we have voter ID. When there's still so many things wrong with our country, you cannot, that's a, that's an op. Do not fall for that sci op.
Starting point is 00:50:15 do not be okay with that ever that is retarded but that's where we're at i'm just trying real harder to get that through uh stocks have fallen on u s iran war uncertainty though losses kept in check blah blah blah don't care i mean i do care but nothing new there's a she's a she's a seized ship vessel over the weekend i'm not going to read the tweet but basically somebody tried to break through the blockade and trump shot through the engine room and took over the ship basically uh pirates now um u s rare earth to buy a brazil sarah verde for 2.8 billion dollars to build supply outside of asia so we're seeing some rare earth's movement i like talking about that stuff by the way um i won't have time now because i'm kind of reaching the end of my show here to go through this but i
Starting point is 00:51:06 would encourage you guys to if you're not already sign up for the badlands brief it's free totally free to get this guys like that's one thing people don't understand We put out literally all of our content for free outside of the gaming streams that we do, which it's still free if you go to YouTube, and then the conferences, where we literally have to pay for the venue and stuff and the travel to get there. But literally all the content we put out all the time is free. And there's so much good content that we have.
Starting point is 00:51:36 I don't think people understand. Badlands brief on Substack. Badlands.substack.com. You can support us. It's a great way to support us. We're always asking for support because that's how we keep the doors open. But this newsletter has been killing it lately. Their new show, The Badlands Blitz, killing it.
Starting point is 00:51:53 And it's all totally free, just like everything else. I'd highly encourage you to sign up for it. I'll post this in the chat too for you guys. It's a great one today. Let me check a couple things. Yeah, here's that story. Rep, lunatized voter ID to FISA renewal deadline. She insists lawmakers must attach the Save America Act, requiring proof of citizenship
Starting point is 00:52:13 like passports or birth certificates for federal voters to the reauthorization of FISA. So stupid. Oh, we got this. I don't care about that. Oh, yeah, this is kind of silly. Jimmy Dore has this apparently retired CIA analyst Larry Johnson on. I'm not going to play the clip. Actually, what, maybe I will.
Starting point is 00:52:44 It's only 50 seconds. They recognize they've got some problems and got to try to deal with it. And then there was a report out that they had an emergency meeting Saturday night. And apparently, well, one report coming out of that meeting at the White House is that Trump wanted to use the nuclear, so-called use the nuclear codes. And General Dan Kane stood up and said, no. He invoked his privilege as the head of the military, so to speak. It was apparently quite a blow up. There are pictures of Kane coming out of that meeting with his head down to the ground.
Starting point is 00:53:28 So, you know, there's some very, very bizarre things going on in D.C. Well, on Saturday night, excuse me, Larry, Trump. Trying to set the narrative that Trump was going to use nukes. And then they stopped him? Okay. Don't believe that. Do not believe that. Text Attorney General, Kim Paxton filed lawsuit against Act Blue,
Starting point is 00:53:52 alleging deception and donation processes, enabling fraudulent and foreign contributions. So, great lawsuit. I mean, yeah, we need to get the bottom of that, but there's also the win red. I mean, all the political donation stuff is just a pyramid scheme. It's all fraudulent. It's probably mostly our tax dollars.
Starting point is 00:54:10 Oh, this is so dumb. The UAE has asked the U.S. about war-time. financial lifeline. The United Arab Emirates has opened talks with the U.S. about obtaining a financial backstop in case Iran war plunges the oil-rich Persian Gulf State into deeper crisis. They met with Scott Besson, raised the idea of a currency swap line. The Emirates emphasized that they had so far avoided the worst economic effects of the conflict but might still need a financial lifeline.
Starting point is 00:54:43 The talks highlighted the UAE's concerned that the war could inflict major damage on its economy, its position as a global financial hub, depleting its foreign reserves and scaring away investors who once saw it as a stable and secure place for their money. Like they want to bailout. And I hate that. There are so many people in America that are struggling. And we have so many issues here domestically. And yes, I understand.
Starting point is 00:55:09 Like, I don't want to be involved in that conflict over there. We are. But that doesn't mean we need to go and still help support all these other foreign countries by giving them our money. Fuck that. Absolutely. F that. The Justice Department is investigating whether beef companies engage in criminal anti-competitive conduct.
Starting point is 00:55:29 I wager they did. Corey Mills is writing up an expulsion resolution against Nancy Mace. Already has a text drafted. There's some, like, Congress is so dumb. We just had the two people resign last week. We have Corey Mills, like there's reportedly a bunch of stuff coming out against him this week. And then he's going after Nancy Mace. It's such a stupid, dramatic TV show, as Chris Paul puts it.
Starting point is 00:55:59 Oh, and then I do have a video for you guys that I'll play here in a second. that is it's like a more uplifting okay it's a good video we're going to end on that but before we do that I want to get to the rants here quick I think I forgot to pull up anyway no no no matter I got him today's the 20th right oh happy 420 I completely forgot a couple rants here hurricane hoochin hide your lotion John's on the prowl love you brother love you too but you shouldn't hide your lotion you should use your lotion and then buy more soft disclosure.com simple sam 1779 no different than putting halligan in at the doj this is clear evidence they are flailing that's how a lot of people are interpreting it it may not mean that i would love to be remain optimistic and hopeful for it but
Starting point is 00:56:50 also got to be realistic final demand which corrupt judges presides over obama's court case bosberg arrest whoever you want with comie hillary brenden our country is corrupted from the ground up it's going to take decades to fix. Yeah. I agree. And I think that's a very realistic thing to say, but I don't think those are the expectations that have been set for us by these same people that are telling us who are going to give us justice. Zig-Zack tipped $7.13 of you via Rumble Wallet. Thank you. You're my boy, Blue. Appreciate that. Keith O'Higgins, for a dollar, happy 420 day, John. My hopium dealer is hiding with Savannah Guthrie's mom. You can't pull the rug on Jewish bank because they have they have wailing wall-to-wall carpeting.
