Badlands Media - The Daily Herold: 5/4/26 - Midterm Cancellation Signal, Iran Ceasefire & Meat Cartel

Episode Date: May 4, 2026

Jon Herold comes into Monday a little roughed up from the Wild giving up nine goals, but he has receipts. Trump's latest Truth Social post says elections conducted unconstitutionally simply cannot sta...nd, and Jon thinks that combined with praising Louisiana for suspending primaries, that is as close to a midterm cancellation signal as anyone has put on the record. Project Freedom kicked off over the weekend with the US Navy escorting stranded ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran fired on vessels anyway, and the ceasefire Jon was told was over is apparently still being tested. Jon also plays back his own April 24 prediction that the Jerome Powell probe would reopen the moment Kevin Warsh is confirmed, because Jeanine Pirro just said the exact same thing on Fox. The DOJ announced an antitrust settlement with the Big Four meat packers controlling 85% of US beef processing, with more protein pricing settlements coming this week. Rudy Giuliani is in critical condition in the hospital, Ukraine is still being funded despite what social media is saying, the Tucker for president op is in full swing, and Jon explains in about thirty seconds why it is the same playbook as DeSantis 2023.

Starting point is 00:00:00 The Badlands, what are the Badlands? Explain those Badlands. That's a hell of their name. Well, good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to the Daily Herald here on Badlands Media. I'm your host, John Harold, and happy Monday, even though it's not that happy. Last time my wild got shellacked. Such a dumb, weird game. They give up nine goals.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Like, that's unheard of. It was unheard of. Nine goals. They literally, I don't think they've given up more than seven goals. One time they gave up seven goals. Like three times they gave up six goals, like a handful of times, five goals. Typically it's around the three to four range. It was unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:00:54 So that was a rough, rough day yesterday, rough night last night watching that. But I'm confident that, you know, I know that is not how they typically play, that they will do much better the rest of the series. Hopefully. Hopefully. plus we're um we're missing a few guys like two of our top six seven players are out nine goals that's hockey almost worth what it was like really
Starting point is 00:01:19 bad hockey though like it was good scoring if you like offense yeah that's that that was fun but it wasn't good hockey and those who watch hockey you probably know what i mean damn john's beard attacked us to the screen i do need to shave i keep saying that but i have it's hard it's hard to like want to shave when the longer my beard is, the more beard oil I get to put on it. And it just feels great. Ring to the woods, how many fights?
Starting point is 00:01:47 No fights. Jester, howdy everyone from National Tough Loss for the Wild, but a heck of a game overall. Yeah, we'll see how it goes on Tuesday. I think the next game is Tuesday. We need to get just one of them. If we give one game on the road, that'd be huge. But anyway, other than that, it was kind of a slow news weekend. I have a bunch of tabs open.
Starting point is 00:02:10 We'll go through, you know, the stories that are out there, but nothing really all that exciting. I never know how to say your name right, but Unati O.C. Unatiok. I know you're at at Gart. So I did enjoy meeting you. But I appreciate you giving a $10 rants. I found a new, John, I have a new found appreciation for you. I appreciate your work.
Starting point is 00:02:35 You've done establishing badlands, but the level has increased. I bless you and your family. Well, thank you so much. I appreciate that and the support. Yeah, how about this? Let's get a quick word from the first couple sponsors of today's show. And then we'll plug through Doge Silver Gold. No updates on the presential website.
Starting point is 00:02:54 A couple of stories on the Badlands website. And then a couple random things out there. And then I'll just kind of hang out with you guys, the rest of the show, talk about whatever you guys want to talk about. So do me a favor and prepared with your own stories that you want me to discuss. First up, we got Rise Attire. These guys are awesome. Make sure you get some Rise of Tire gear.
Starting point is 00:03:16 What up, Badlanders. Are you ready to rock something new in 2026? Well, as always, we got you covered with the Rise Badlands Native Collection. Built from the rich tones and rugged terrain of the Dakotas, equal parts beautiful and brutal. Old roots, new vibe. Whether you got gaiters in your backyard or you have to take a bush plane to the post office, Badlanders are worldwide. Different dirt.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Same tribe. Speaking of different dirt, the ghost of base Patrick Henry designed a plan for the border wall that he actually sent to the White House. It's friggin hilarious. Now you can get it on a shirt, hoodie, and more. And don't forget, every order throws fuel on the fire of the made-in USA parallel economy. So grab something now at badlandsmedia.tv slash rise. Badlandsmedia.tv slash rise. Make sure you guys check out yesterday's episode of America First Stories
Starting point is 00:04:22 because they were on there and they're awesome people. And it was a fun interview. It's a good interview. So go check that out, everybody. We also got some soft disclosure. Mother's Day is coming up. And there's no better gift to get the mothers in your life than some soft disclosure. Last winter, the world met Madame Margie, the moisture list.
Starting point is 00:04:45 But while Badlandia banded together at Gart, she evolved. While deep in her layer, she uncovered four sacred instruments of hydration. The lip balm. The lotion. The tallow bar. And the new stainless steel gwasher. Together, they wage war, flaking as fallen, roughness retreats, dryness trembles, and among the rebels. Mother's good boy.
Starting point is 00:05:16 But elsewhere in Badlandia, rebellion grows, the beards, remain. Shave them all. Visit softdisclosure.com and use promo code Mama's Boy for 20% off your Mother's Day bundle. And when you buy two Mother's Day bundles, you get an 11 ounce lavender vanilla for free. For softness, for victory, for moms. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.
Starting point is 00:05:43 That's so funny. I didn't even notice that the audio to that is also AI generated. Green Star is stepping up his game. Man, he is good shit. But yeah, no update on the Doge website. Silver was down a little bit from last week. Yeah, 73, 82 for silver. Gold is at 4,500.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Bitcoin, though, was up. It cleared 80,000. And it's over 80,000 again right now. That is awesome stuff. Badlandsmedia.tv slash river. Trump did announce today, and we are going to go through a couple of his true social posts because there's some gems out there.
Starting point is 00:06:22 I mean, I could make a whole show, honestly, if I wanted to, just going through Trump's true social posts and analyzing them, cataloging them, point out contradictions and whatnot. Because it's just, it's something else. It's out of this world. But we're going to go through some of those. Anyway, he announced Project Freedom to escort stranded ships out of the Strait of Ormoos. On Sunday, he said the United States will begin a naval escort operation to guide stranded
Starting point is 00:06:44 commercial vessels out of the straight, describing the effort as a humanitarian mission aimed at assisting neutral countries caught in the ongoing Middle East conflict. Maybe we'll get to that a little bit. But I did hear that Iran didn't appreciate that. The United States, I guess, also took out some boats today or something who were trying to attack the ships. It's all so silly. Yeah, the war otherwise is continuing to do nothing, I guess, continuing to go on, but also not really go on. We're waiting for Iran to agree to some proposal. We won the war. The war's done.
Starting point is 00:07:21 The hostilities are over, but also we could still start them again at any point. That's kind of the big thing over the weekend is where Trump was like, yeah. So I'm done with the conflict now, the hostilities, but he only did it for the war powers resolution, which I think is hysterical. I mean, you're going to use essentially a technicality to restart the war powers clock. Oh, and by the way, let me show you this. Where do I have it? I think I found on the New York Times. Do you remember last week when...
Starting point is 00:08:00 Sorry, I just got to search for something here. Last week, I think it was, or maybe it was the week before, the Justice Department dropped their investigation into Jerome Powell. And here's them dropping their criminal investigation to Powell. And then here, yesterday, it came out that they said, hey, inquiry into Fed chair could be resurrected. I want to show you guys a video. And I don't even remember where this would have been.
Starting point is 00:08:32 I think it would have been, I just saved this like last night. I just got to find out where I put it. Oh, not there. Oh, yeah, here we go. I got it. Now, this is an episode from April 24th when they dropped the initial investigation into Jerome Powell. And in my head, I was like, they're only doing this to get worse. confirmed, I bet they're going to resurrect it.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Maybe they'll reopen it after Warsh is in there. That's what I would do. As soon as Warsh gets back in or gets nominated, it gets the go ahead, reopen the probe. You just watch. That's what's going to happen. I don't know if you guys caught all that. But yeah, that was me saying on April 24th that I bet they're going to reopen the probe,
Starting point is 00:09:29 which is hilarious and totally what they should do. But yesterday, Geneo Piro, Janine Piro, said that they could reopen the inquiry, could be resurrected. And maybe that's why
Starting point is 00:09:44 Jerome Powell wants to stay on the Fed board because he said he's not leaving. My audio dropped, my bad guys. That was a recording of me from the last week or two weeks ago, whatever. The author's Dick says, yeah, armed conflict is over, but U.S. fleet of bombers are escorting ships
Starting point is 00:10:00 out of the straight, so that doesn't require congressional approval. Yeah, you know, I don't know if they're going to bomb more stuff. He's threatened to do it. I really don't. I just don't know. I really don't care. John, was there actually a story that the IRG were using trained dolphins to leave bombs under the straight?
Starting point is 00:10:23 I mean, that story was told. I don't know how much of it was real. Is it going Miss Wally? He started late thumb hundo here. Good to see my beds co. I saw a report. This is from Lee Walden. I saw a report that there were four U.S.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Maritime ships with U.S. crew stranded. I'm hopeful this will be resolved. Hammer guy 35 with his typical totally serious optimism. I hope we can start paying $10 per gallon more winning. Yeah, gas here. I was like almost completely out of gas in my Bronco and it costs $71 to fill her up. It's $4 a gallon here.
Starting point is 00:11:08 No, boy, no. And I think some of that has been reflected in the and I've kind of been saying this for a while. the polls are fake but also they do it's just a matter of how fake you don't know and especially when they're trying to like you know conduct these narrative operations and really like go after Trump here they're they're gonna push the impeachment all these things they want there to be this this feeling against Trump where he doesn't have support from anybody so it's okay it's it's the apathy battle right in my
Starting point is 00:11:41 own personal circles and people I talk to a lot of people are not happy with the economy right now or the war on Iran. Like that's just a reality from my perspective. Some people might have other perspectives on it. That's just what I'm seeing too, in line with some of the polls. But yeah, who knows? We, I do anticipate him turning around, but also he may not even need to. The midterms may not matter because check out what Trump posted here.
Starting point is 00:12:09 This was today the fourth. Yeah, May the fourth be with you guys. Today is, this was yesterday. he says we cannot allow there to be an election that is conducted unconstitutionally simply for the convenience of state legislatures think of what he's saying here if they have to vote twice so be it we should demand that state legislatures do what the Supreme Court says must be done that is more important than administrative convenience the byproduct is that the Republicans will receive more than 20 House seats in the upcoming
Starting point is 00:12:41 midterms president Donald J. Trump last week he said i think you're talking about jeff relandrie and calling him a visionary or whatever such strength vision brilliance what i don't remember but what landry was doing the governor of louisiana was postponing the the primaries in order to get the new maps in but think of what this says we cannot allow there to be an election that is conducted unconstitutionally simply for me it is not impossible like the odds are not zero of Trump potentially coming out here
Starting point is 00:13:16 and canceling some midterms or push him for that which I'm totally on board for we've been talking about that for a while so maybe none of these the narratives that are circulating even matter new case why is Brian Kemp
Starting point is 00:13:30 refusing to redistrict because he's a little bitch but others Jake John are the same people who are tired of the Iran conflict, don't bitch and moan over Ukraine war that's been going on for five years. That's true. But we're a little less directly involved in that one. But that's different too.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Like the Ukraine war, I would say was very much, it was like a party line thing. All Democrats were supportive of that and all uniparty people were supportive of that. Almost all mega and conservatives are like, why are we doing this? with the Iran war, I think there's a lot more people who are, who would fall into the umbrella of mega who are against the conflict. And all the Democrats or whatever, the left, they're against it too because they're against everything Trump does. But there are some people, I would say principled people who do not like the idea of us being involved in a foreign conflict who are against it. Like it just says what it is. I'm supportive of the conflict, but I'm against us fighting it.
Starting point is 00:14:33 You know what I mean? I've made this point for a while now, so it's nothing new to you guys. But there's another point I was just going to make. Oh, something I saw that was circulating a lot this weekend, which I thought was really weird. But somebody's starting to put out this narrative that we're no longer funding Ukraine. And it started the first one I saw came from this zero hour account. But there were other people I saw too. But he said no aid for Ukraine in 2027 according to the defense budget.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Again, a lot of people running with this. The problem is people so quickly forget, and this was a big thing on social media when it came out, that they included the 2027 funding for Ukraine in last year's National Defense Authorization Act. $400 million. So they're still getting funded. And I bet in next year's defense budget, they'll do another two years of 400 million, 400 million. So no, we have not stopped funding Ukraine. Brian Kemp hates Trump
Starting point is 00:15:36 He's a rhino Yes I think the magic power of dolphins is its milk whiskers What? Ramone 22 Yeah leaving for a trip to Kamai Illinois and then onto Somali Minnesota where are you going Aobie? 12 any boy good to see you tie
Starting point is 00:15:59 Hope your travels are going well leaves a $5 rant and says If midterms are canceled So many people would try and vote Harder only way that doesn't back fire is if we have real fake election exposure in my opinion we do need the election fraud exposure but if they're canceled how would people vote harder why is kem still breathing that's rude going on a tour of the leering center i think they're asking you aob i'm trying to see if there's
Starting point is 00:16:39 any i thought there's a comment i'm on to read but i'm apparently not i've missed it okay but let's keep going here um the court did order hunter biden associate to pay 50 000 dollars in legal fees to former Trump aide. I thought this is notable just because it's the Biden story. And everybody knows the Biden laptop. We've been talking about that for years here on Badlands. The California Supreme Court has ordered attorney Kevin Morris, a financier of Hunter Biden, often referred to as his sugar brother.
Starting point is 00:17:09 He paid $50,000 in legal fees to former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler and the conservative research group Marco Polo. The ruling closes a years-long dispute stemming from a 2022 phone call. Morris believed was with the Democratic strategist discussing Hunter Biden in the laptop. Morris later accused Ziegler of impersonation and brought claims including harassment and emotional distress, but the case collapsed after he failed to provide evidence linking Ziegler to the call or to produce a verified phone number in court proceedings. What sucks about this is I can already tell you that the $50,000 in legal fees is nowhere
Starting point is 00:17:42 near what Garrett Ziegler probably paid for legal fees for a two-year-long probe or two-year-long case zero chance that is ridiculous like in a good way it's a good good for ziegler um some breaking news from cnnn secret service agent definitely shot by suspected gunman at last weekend's correspondent's dinner what a weird story to put out i don't know why it's weird weird to me um ooh we got some escalating tensions straight o harmoos use an arani militaries are trading shots as straight of harmoos tensions escalate use military military sings six Iranian boats as Tehran fires on U.S. Navy and commercial ships. The fragile ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran is held for nearly a month,
Starting point is 00:18:37 and it's being tested after both sides fired shots in the Strait of our moves. Do you guys think we're going to get another series of bombing? Cam Sterling, Abrams, Raffensberger, need to be tried and found guilty of treason, executed. It's pretty harsh, but I mean if they committed treason, then yes. I wonder, you know, there's a lot of these. these characters like the kemp sterlings abrams raffensberger when a lot of us call for accountability injustice especially with the election stuff their names don't typically get brought up a lot of the people that were demanding accountability for are the big names like the clinton's the brennan's
Starting point is 00:19:22 the comies obamas but i wonder if we do get if it's not a rug and we do get the accountability and justice we need in so many different areas is it going to get all the way down to the kemps of the world as it should. Clearcat 367. If I recall correctly, Garrett said it was over a million dollars in legal fees. That's insanity. I feel like if it's found out you bring a frivolous case or if like you lie to file a case, submit a case, you lie in your filing of a case. You should be required to pay back the entirety of the legal fees.
Starting point is 00:20:06 Because the person would not have had to pay them had it not been for your bullshit. You know what I mean? And that's what I'm going to be certainly arguing. when i get to that point of my trial then i's trial session tomorrow this from edgar friendly 23 naniye's trial session tomorrow has been canceled due to security tensions in the gulf israeli channel 14 reports of course it is naniang needs war more than anyone yeah that's what uh ghosts have been saying for pretty much the entire time now medbedsco escalating tension perfectly describes my first three marriages and my engagement
Starting point is 00:20:41 with my mar and foal that means she's pregnant ooh for you man for me, Kemp's daughter's boyfriend was killed in the car accident and that was when Kemp flipped. Might be why people don't call him out. If that's true, you would think you would, like that would be public. Like there's a lot of speculation around that. Like if I was Kemp, I would, I would freaking go public with that. Here's, um, from Badlands Media Fan says for $5. I saw General Flynn speak in Iowa yesterday.
Starting point is 00:21:18 Quick summary, so served by voting and try to get others to vote. since prior any turnout is less than 30%. No mention of ending fraudulent elections. That's interesting. I wonder where he spoke at. He is not cheap to get to speak. That's why he hasn't spoken to Badlands Conference. I've talked to his team a few times,
Starting point is 00:21:43 but I stand firmly in the fact that I will not pay for people to come speak at our conferences. Anyway, let's see what else. Rubio is going to be meeting with the Pope soon. Oh, we got that. this is not a good economic sign foreclosure filing surge to a six year high look around look at all the foreclosures back during the 08 bubble in the crash they are trending upwards again i mean obviously a long ways to go but that is not good a ronda santis delivered uh some new new a new congressional map for florida i have something with the before and after let me find it here
Starting point is 00:22:34 here we go so the top one is the before look at all that blue the bottom one is the after and it allegedly gains us four seats this whole congressional map thing is is pretty interesting but it's kind of funny like it's absurd
Starting point is 00:23:01 that these people can just go in and redraw a map and all of a sudden get their party more seats like it probably shouldn't be that way but we're having this like this is becoming very viral Trump is making it very viral right now too it's one of those conversations we should be having of how how do we how should we be drawing up these states and do we even have the correct number of representatives representing our people no we don't but I'm uh I'm these midterms are going to be interesting not because of the voting
Starting point is 00:23:29 or the candidates or any of that but just the narratives that are already forming and surrounding it leading up to it and the whispers of the cancellations I think it's great It's going to be fun to watch. And everyone's going to lose their minds either way. What's up, Polly work? Maybe I saw you on with Drake last night. Hope that it went well. I didn't get a chance to watch.
Starting point is 00:23:52 I was watching the Wild Game. But I actually saw your face. It's good to put a face to the name, man. Fix Baynet, I wish this would lead to ending the party somehow. Yeah, I see a lot of that narrative being pushed too. People are weird ops around Tucker this weekend, by the way. if you watch Saturday's power we played a couple clips but there are some people who are still pushing Tucker for president there are some people who are pushing Tucker to start a new political party again and I don't think that's a good idea in the current
Starting point is 00:24:19 like makeup of politics right now like yes the the uniparty the republicans and the democrats are broken but if they prevent if they present the solution of a third party like this guys this is going to be the one that takes back our country it is going to be no different than the uniparty it's going to be a third option and it's going to be like it's almost going to be pacification the current setup of how our government and election infrastructure all that stuff works a third party is not going to solve any problems it's going to leave us with the problems for longer so we're going to think that we fixed it and it's it's not good Tucker wouldn't be the first from the CIA to be president that's funny what did I say. Tucker for Prez
Starting point is 00:25:08 is so retarded. Yep. Let me show you what Cernovich wrote yesterday about Tucker. I think it was yesterday. I always remember he has been blocked. Every time I go click on his profile, but there's man, he posts a lot. Well, for
Starting point is 00:25:38 processing. I'm just going to search 2016. He compares Tucker to 2016 Trump coming down the escalator. Here we go. Living through Tucker Mania, I can't open this site without seeing discussion of him. You know when I last was like this?
Starting point is 00:25:59 When Trump walked down the escalator and all of the smart people said Trump was insane, had no choice, voters hated him. Spirit of 2015. These people are so ready to put anybody in place as the, this is the guy that's going to follow Trump. Like they want to coronate the successor so that they can move on from Trump. And it's so obvious that it's all the worst effing people, all the people that supported DeSantis, all the people that jumped ship from Trump as soon as it was like the social incentives were against doing so after the 2020 election. None of these people want to talk about election fraud. None of them talk about the Uniparty.
Starting point is 00:26:37 They're all the worst. And here they are. They're ready to coronate the new king and they want it to be Tucker. So stupid. Fixed bayonet gifted five subs. Thank you so much. Gateway Mega 5. Hey John, Gateway Mega and Sigar City Patriot
Starting point is 00:26:57 are listening from a beach bar. Cheers. Good to see you too. Thank you for the rant. You should have kept the $5 and bought yourself another round. But that's cool. Are you guys coming to Deadwood? And which beach bar are you at? You guys met through Badlands, right? Now you guys are like, besties getting together.
Starting point is 00:27:18 That's so cool. Wish I was there. But instead, I'm here in North Dakota. cold again today kind of sucks. Ms. Truthbaum says I moved on from Sernovich circa 2017. Yeah, I mean, I've moved on. Like, I don't take to heart anything he says, but there's certain influencers out there that you can key it on and like, yeah, okay, this is where the op is going.
Starting point is 00:27:43 And Cernovich is one of those guys. And he's pretty super gay. So don't, don't forget that. Hammer Guy 35, the bench is thin for next pot of selection. Who we got Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham. I don't know. I think we should just have Trump come back again. C.C. says, I didn't wear a coat this morning.
Starting point is 00:28:05 It's not cold. It's cold-ish. It's 45 degrees in windy right now. Karina Dan 21 says the more those goofballs hate Trump, the more I like Trump. Yeah, they're good negative indicators. Frenchies and clear water. No, we're not going to Deadwood. That makes me sad. I'll survive, but that does make me sad.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Oh, we have this over the weekend. Rudy Giuliani is in the hospital. He was in critical condition. They even said, I think this is his spokesperson. Mayor Rudy Giuliani is recovering from pneumonia. On September 11th, Mayor Giuliani ran toward the towers to help those in need, which later led to the diagnosis of restrictive airway disease. This condition adds complications to any respiratory illness,
Starting point is 00:28:56 and the virus quickly overwhelmed his body requiring mechanical ventilation to maintain adequate oxygen and stabilize his condition. He's now breathing on his own with his family and primary medical provider at his side, Mayor Giuliani is the ultimate fighter as he has demonstrated throughout his life and he's winning this battle. His family deeply appreciates the outpouring of love and support. The mayor believes in the power of prayer and we are feeling that strength today. He remains in critical but stable condition. Please keep those prayers coming. And yes, everybody pray for Giuliani.
Starting point is 00:29:27 I think Trump even had a post about it. Yes, he did. Our fabulous Rudy Giuliani, a true warrior and the best mayor in the history of New York City by far. That's kind of a shot at Mamdami Mondani has been hospitalized and is in critical condition. What a tragedy that he was treated so badly
Starting point is 00:29:47 by the radical left lunatics. Democrats all, and he was right about everything. They cheated on the election, fabricated hundreds of stories, and did anything possible to destroy our nation and now look at Rudy so sad, present Donald J. Trump.
Starting point is 00:30:05 I'm trying to see what what does this mean? To move on implies one is getting ahead. There is no moving on if muted since 2017, like Anonymous through me, using IT to meld crews with Family for Peace, Joy, HW&H, funding, LL&O, no longer, FWA via DC. I didn't understand a lot of that, but I agree there is no moving on from Trump. They want to.
Starting point is 00:30:39 Here, great talent, 2880. Has anyone in the chat bought Badlands Media merch, I have a question referring to what type of Gilden t-shirt it is. You can probably reach out to our contact on our website. If you go to our website and go all the way down to contact, there's a little box you can type stuff in and somebody will get back to you on that. Sounds like a final jeopardy question. Yeah, that was a little tough. See, K.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Ruth, I don't get your question for General Flynn, but while he was so easy to talk to, discuss CO2 pipeline, eminent domain issue. And I did mention Badlands Media in your Devolution series. Well, thank you for doing that. Yeah, if you messaged me, I wasn't on Twitter a whole lot. Yesterday, actually, I did a little, we did like a daddy daughter day. Me, my girlfriend took her all over the place.
Starting point is 00:31:31 We did a little daddy daughter dance last night. It was really fun. So, you know, it's kind of a way for my computer as much as possible yesterday. Let's keep going. Not on the presidential website, I think I already said that. Browser froze up again. There we go. You don't know once I noticed there hasn't been an NSPM in a long time.
Starting point is 00:31:58 What today's the May, five. like seven months without a national security presidential memorandum unless there's some classified ones which definitely could be we wouldn't know until we get a new one but the first term of Trump he was averaging one of these every 54 some days and it's been well over that since we had one so I don't know if that means anything maybe not but I'm pointing out I think it's notable let's see what else like I said there isn't a huge isn't a big Newsday oil jumped again kind of already talked about that so I'm just going through my tabs here
Starting point is 00:32:52 no there was a DOJ meat packing antitrust violation type thing that we could look at the DOJ announced meat packing antitrust settlement to lower protein prices I'm here for this I could use some lower prices in my meat Department of Justice led by acting attorney general Tom Blanch and agriculture secretary Brooke Rawlins announced a historic antitrust settlement with the big four meat packers JBS Cargill Tyson and national beef I control 85% of the U.S. beef processing. Let's play the clip here. As you all know, last November, the president tasked the department to investigate the costs and prices of beef. As a result, we prioritized investigating potential
Starting point is 00:33:41 antitrust violations in U.S. cattle and beef markets. In the beef industry, the big four processors control over 85% of the beef processing market. Two of the big four are primarily foreign-owned. Multiple plant closures across the country, the current market structure and high concentration in the industry indicate anti-competitive activity. Since the President's executive order, the Department has been actively investigating with a review of over three million documents, hundreds of industry participants, including ranchers, cattlemen, producers, and processors have been contacted and many interviewed as part of this ongoing investigation. More broadly, the department has also
Starting point is 00:34:33 executed on the President's Executive Order to stop anti-competitive behavior in the broader food supply market. Later this week, we will be announcing an historic settlement that will directly affect the prices of proteins like chicken, pork, and turkey. This business model allows competitors to exchange competitively sensitive information on every aspect of the protein industry and has raised the prices on chicken, raise the prices on pork, and raise the prices on turkey. There you go. Those darn meat packers, super gay the things they do.
Starting point is 00:35:16 raise those prices. Racketopapapapapapapap. Just left a $5 rants. It's always a good show. Thank you so much for the $5 and the comment. Yeah, I don't know how much of a good show is left. There's a, there's not much talk about. Trump again says terminate the filibuster and win. Funny. I don't think he actually cares to do that. Or he knows that they're not going to do it, so he keeps pointing it out. And as I think I'm already done with my tabs. Oh, so sad. Weekend news, I'm boring, can't help it, especially when we talk about a lot of stuff on Saturday. So the rest of the show is yours, guys. Whatever you want to talk about, I am willing to talk about, for the most part.
Starting point is 00:36:02 But first, we're going to get a quick word from our final sponsor of today's show, which is self-disclosure. No, we already did soft-disclosure. We're going to do Rumble Wallet. That's what we're going to do. If I can pull it up here, there we go. All right. Let me get the script here. Real talk, chat.
Starting point is 00:36:25 And this doesn't quite apply to my show because I read the rants and stuff as we go. But most shows on Badlands, they save the rants for the end. But we're making a commitment here like Rumble is asking us to do is when people send in Rumble rants through Rumble wallet, we are going to prioritize those and read those during the show. Again, a lot of the rants would read at the end. This show excluded. So if you send one in, we're going to read it in the middle of the show. I've let everybody know.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Questions, hot take, stuff you really want us to react to, whatever it is. It won't be buried and saved for the end. It'll be read live as it comes in. You can download Rumble Wallet right now, scan the QR code or hit the link. Set up is super easy. It uses MoonPay so you can use your debit card or credit card or your existing bank account, then send in your rant. Again, we're going to start answering those as they come in.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Unlike other platforms, we get 100%, YouTube Twitch, Twitch, even Rumble Rans, stick up to 20% YouTube and Twitch, 50%. Here, 100% with the Rumble wallet. And you can gift Bitcoin, Tether, USD, or Tether Gold. Use Rumble wallet. Send a rant. We'll be watching for them. Thank you so much to Rumble and Rumble Studio and Rumble Wallet.
Starting point is 00:37:34 John in Connecticut says, publicly funded and administered primary should end. They are the private elections of private non-profit corporations. Let them conduct their own elections and fund their own conventions. Yeah, I mean, there's so many issues with how we run our elections down to the primary stuff. Polymathon, John Raids come up as a rant now, too. Happened to Drake and I yesterday. Yeah, we saw that on Saturday show. We got raided by like four different channels because when you get featured on Rumble,
Starting point is 00:38:05 a lot of people when they raid somebody, they'll raid them to the featured show. John, did you play this yet in Gailtime? I don't know. Let me look. I haven't played it yet, but we're going to watch it. It's kind of three minutes long. That's a little long, but maybe it's worth it. Director of the FBI, Mr. Cash Patel.
Starting point is 00:38:42 What up? What up? It's K.D.A.K.A. Cash with the K, aka the most effective FBI director this country's ever had, Cash Patel. Now, after the attempted assassination of President Trump another one. We conducted an investigation that could not have been more thorough.
Starting point is 00:39:12 We dotted every tea and bulged every eye. And for those of you saying, I'm doing a bad job running the FBI. Well, what if I told you this agency is only six weeks away from pinpointing the exact location of Osama bin Laden? You guys should not be reporting the lie. in the gossip? Okay, questions. Yeah, you, little shorty. Are you nervous about reports that Trump is angry with you? Hell no. President Trump loves me. Everybody loves me. Even the correspondence dinner shooter said, kill everyone but Mr. Patel. You get a shout out like that in a psychos manifesto?
Starting point is 00:40:00 You must be doing something right. That's true. He actually said that, which is hilarious. That is super funny. So I don't know yet if I think this itself is funny, but I do think when South Park, not South Park, Saturday Night Live is on and they aren't political, or at least they're willing to make fun of everybody, they're solid. Like, comedy is such a good thing. It's such a healthy thing. We should be able to make, like make fun of everybody, everything all the time.
Starting point is 00:40:28 Doesn't matter how serious. Like people get so buttered all the time. Stop it. Jokes are good. We're going to finish this. Ramone 222 also sent a $10 rant. You guys are being so generous today. I really appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:40:39 It says, God is the white pill. And I agree with that. Okay. Is it true that you, the director of the FBI, was locked out of your own email account? That's just more lies. I've always been able to log into my email except for a brief 36-hour period of time when I forgot I had changed my password to cash me outside 69. And I, can I ask about your drinking?
Starting point is 00:41:07 What about it? I was actually talking to Mr. Patel. Oh. Awesome. Let me be clear. This FBI director has never been drunk or hungover on the job. This FBI director has never filled a 40-ounce travel mug with ice cold gin and a swirl of dry vermouth and six lemon peels and called it a cash tini. This FBI director.
Starting point is 00:41:34 has never used taxpayer dollars to take a private jet to fly him and his girlfriend to three different buffalo wild wings locations across the country to see if they could taste the difference and this FBI director has definitely not stood on top of the couch at the VIP room of town nightclub and Asian bistro and shouted who wants the nuclear code jk i ain't got him I mean, that was comical. Wasn't hilarious, but pretty funny, I would say. I give that a six out of ten. Cash teeny, L.O., yeah, that's funny.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Maybe it's code did call it. He said cache me outside before they said the Cash Me Outside password on there. That was pretty good. What else? Let's see if there's anything else in my, throughout the week and weekend, I usually save my. messages as I go through to see the same thing I want to talk about. I think I got them all.
Starting point is 00:42:41 That one, got that one. It's just a boring weekend newsday. So rise of tires. So they got to be worried about Cash Patel if they're trying to make him look like an idiot. Yeah, I mean, some of the narratives,
Starting point is 00:42:55 it's interesting how it works, right? Like they come out with the story, making fun of Cash Patel or criticizing Cash Patel in some way, like the drinking thing. It kind of came out of nowhere other than the fact that he did show up at the Olympics and was like partying with them. But hey, people got to let us some steam if that's how they choose to do it, so be it. There isn't any actual reason to believe he's been drinking on a job or any of it.
Starting point is 00:43:16 But the story gets published. Cash Patel says he's going to sue him. And then now they're making fun of him for being a drinker when there's really no basis in reality for it. But it's kind of the wrap up smear. John, if you ever want to get back in Cash's Good Grace, as plan, that may not have been the right move. I really don't think there is an opportunity for me to ever get back in cash's good graces. But I stand by my support for him. The plot against the president, that movie, and that may be a huge fan.
Starting point is 00:43:44 Always looked up to him as if he was a hero of mine. And if that means he hates me for it, then so be it. I heard this from S.D. Isario. I heard something mentioned about the teachers unions and a billion dollars. Know anything about that? That's pretty broad. I don't. I prefer to have the head of BFI who drinks as opposed to line and lawfare.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Yeah. For sure. Anyway, guys, what I think I'm going to do here is actually just send you over to Ychromes. So they look like they're having some fun over there. And I'm through my headlines already. So pray for more news. That's a weird thing to say. Never mind.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Like, don't pray for more news. News is boring. But hopefully tomorrow we'll have more things to talk about. Hopefully more things will happen today. W.A. Sandy, plotting against the president is a great film. If you haven't seen, you definitely should. Definitely should. Is there a new Trump post?
Starting point is 00:44:52 Let me go look at that quick. We got this. Jonathan Carl of ABC fake news made a statement that I called him early in the morning the day after the assassination attempt to ask whether or not he was okay. No, this was a hit on me, not him, and didn't make such a call. Why would I do that? He called me, but I didn't take this call. He just confirmed that to me when he called again.
Starting point is 00:45:24 I would say that's a very dishonest reporting. He's trying to make himself look important, but I'm not surprised because it comes from ABC fake news, President Donald J. Trump. I love when he calls out people directly. That's the one thing that Trump does in his approach that I do not take. We kind of touched on this Saturday a little bit, but all the BS going on behind the scenes. I'd have every opportunity to name names and call people out. I have so much stuff.
Starting point is 00:45:50 But I don't, but Trump, he just like, he said that that's a lie. I'm going to call him out right now and post about it and everything. He's just, he's different with his approach. It works for him, though. It doesn't work for everybody. People who try to be Trump and act like Trump thinking they'll have the same effect and following that Trump has.
Starting point is 00:46:08 It never works. You saw like Chrissy Noem and Pam Bondy and some of those people try to like be Trump and some of those confirmation hearings and act like Trump, push back on the haters like Trump. Didn't work for him. And it came off like it really bad. But with Trump, it doesn't. Trump, it's different. He's just a kind of a gangster.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Anyway, guys, with that, I'm going to get you out of here. Do any favor, hit that thumbs up here and on YouTube. And I will be back on tonight with Zach at 10.30 p.m. Eastern for bassist conspiracies. I think it's going to be our last episode in the Obama Body Count installment, I think. We might have, we might have finished it last week, but I'm pretty sure we have one more episode left. But otherwise, yeah, I'll see you. As Bay Theater, Dave would say, I'll see you on campus. So you guys have a great day. I'm going to rage you over to Y Chrome's next. See tomorrow and tonight.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Let's get started.
