Badlands Media - The Daily Herold: 7/10/26 - EAC Shakeup and an Iran Assassination Plot Report

Episode Date: July 10, 2026

Jon Herold digs into Trump firing the remaining Election Assistance Commission leadership and traces the history of the agency, from its role distributing COVID era election funds to its Dominion voti...ng system certification timeline, connecting it to his long running election integrity coverage. He also unpacks reports that Israel shared intelligence about an Iranian assassination plot against Trump, which he ties to the plane swap and the renewed Iran bombing campaign. Rounding things out are Trump's Truth Social threat to withhold his signature on the housing bill without the Save America Act, a Qatari mediated push for new Iran talks, and a dig into whether CrowdStrike still has a hand in election security. Sponsor reads and some candid chat exchanges about karma, trust, and helping people keep the show moving at its usual loose pace.

Starting point is 00:00:00 The Badlands, what are the Badlands? Explain those Badlands. That's a hell of a name. Well, good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to the Daily Herald here on Badlands Media. I am your host, John Herald, and happy Friday. Hope you're all having a wonderful Friday so far. The bunny in the chats is any Virginia lurkers in here. We have a pool party on July 25th at the Mechanicsville area.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Email Virginia Fans of Badlands at Gmail.com or going to telegram at the VA Bunny for details. But yeah, hope you guys are all doing well. I think the main story I want to talk about today is the EAC, the election assistance commission. Trump has fired the commissioners. And it was really the authority he got from the slaughter decision from the Supreme Court that allowed him to do it. And I think that there's going to be some like positive ramifications from that potentially because that crew, that group, is one of the cogs of the machine when it comes to the election theft and fraudulent election apparatus in general.
Starting point is 00:01:09 So we're going to talk a little bit about that and bring up some old stories along those lines. There's still not going to really get into any of the Tyler Robinson or Candace Owens thing, but there is one clip I'm going to play that Brian just posted a little bit ago talking about the judge. Like somebody showed an exhibit they weren't supposed to and like somebody first. the media and so the media it sounds like is going to be partially prohibited from showing certain exhibits or something a little interesting um a couple true social posts from trump a couple other random stories we'll kind of get into it but anyway um before we do any of that let's get a quick word from our sponsors and uh if you guys have anything you want me to discuss i'd be happy to
Starting point is 00:01:58 do so and we are back on our original YouTube, by the way. So make sure you guys are following us on both spots and hit that thumbs up. It's greatly appreciated. But first up, we got Tamarack Gardens. Absolutely love these folks over there at Tamarack. Three boys taught me two things. Summer is an adventure and bugs are relentless. As a herbalist, I know you don't need harsh chemicals to protect your family. Here at Tamarack Garden, we've got you covered with natural sunscreen, mosquito and tick repellent that's even safe for your pets. The salve to draw out bug bites and soothing sunburn cream, all made with the power of plants. Because we think summer memories should last longer than the bug bites.
Starting point is 00:02:39 Tamarack Garden, protect your family naturally and eat your weeds. That's the actual Tamarack family there, too. Great people. I've met the kids. Obviously met Rick and Michelle. Great people. So support them. Support badlands in the process.
Starting point is 00:02:54 The products are awesome. And I love the word tincture, by the way. We also have Native Path collagen as a sponsor of today's show. This episode is also brought to you by Native Path grass-fed collagen for better bones, joints, skin, hair, and nails. Here's something that genuinely surprised me. Calcium supplements, the ones millions of people take for bone health, may not be doing much at all because bones are 90% collagen, not calcium.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Without the collagen scaffold to attach to, calcium has nowhere to go. That's where today's sponsor comes in. After 30, our bodies produce 1 to 2% less collagen every single year. That's the protein that keeps our bones dense, joints cushioned, and skin firm. By 60, most people have lost half their collagen, and it's nearly impossible to get it back through diet alone because it lives in the parts of the animals we don't eat. The bones, cartilage, and the tendons. Native Path grass-fed collagen is a clean grass-fed type 1 and 3 collagen that dissolves completely in coffee or water.
Starting point is 00:03:52 No taste, no clumping. Thousands of customers report less joint pain, stronger nails. longer looking skin, better sleep, and even improved bone density scans. And for the special offer and free shipping, head to getnativepath.com slash badlands. That's get native path.com slash badlands. You can try at risk free today with a 365 day money back guarantee. All right. Rick's dad was on sit rep last night.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Sounds like he's pretty awesome. I did not see that. Yeah, Tamrock, what's up, man? New case, the Tamarck folks really are nice. It was such a pleasure to meet them at Deadwood last summer. They are amazing. Jennifer Ray says it's an annoying sci-up. Are you talking about the
Starting point is 00:04:38 Tyler Robinson trial sci-op? So I would agree. That is a pretty annoying sci-op. It's been weird, too. I haven't been paying attention to the actual trial much, but I've obviously been watching some of the social media behavior around it. And everybody's like dunking on Candace Owens, and maybe that's deserved it.
Starting point is 00:04:57 I was never a big fan of Candace Owens anyway. but also the people dunking on her. It's just hard to say. From what I've seen, again, having not paid attention to the actual preliminary hearing, only seeing stuff that's shared around online, it's hard to say like the burden of proof has been met based on what we've seen so far.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Maybe there's more to come. I don't know. But I do love everybody kind of fighting with each other like that. It's super annoying because I'm not a fan of either of those crowds. So is what it is. Second Chance says, I hate that name, Tyler. I feel sorry for all the Tyler's out there,
Starting point is 00:05:34 but somebody in the Rumble chat hates your name. Anyway, let's start plugging away. No update, or I was about to say no update on the Doge website. It's going to be a habit, tough habit to break. Gold is down a little bit, 4120. Silver's at 60-52. Bitcoin is up over $64,000. And gas prices continue to rise.
Starting point is 00:05:56 They've gone up another four cents from yesterday. Maybe Cancon Met national average of 420 by July 4th instead of 240. I don't know. And then the update on the presidential website is adjusting the imports of commercial aircraft jet engines and aircraft and engine parts into the United States. You know, a couple days ago, we talked about Trump taking the assassination. Did I spell that right? And here we go. So we heard the story of Trump.
Starting point is 00:06:37 He was taking the other plane, not his new plane, his other plane, old plane, Air Force One, and was flying that around for the NATO stuff. Well, it turns out it came after the fact that there was some sort of threat or assassination plot on his life. I'm just trying to find the story here. There we go. Israel shared intelligence with U.S. of Iranian plot to assassinate Trump sources say. Israel shared intelligence with the United States that Iran
Starting point is 00:07:10 had recently devised a new plan to assassinate President Donald Trump. Adding another layer of tension as a ceasefire deal between the countries comes under strain, one of the sources said the warning came this week. Another source said the U.S. had picked up a steady drumbeat of intelligence in recent weeks about possible plans to assassinate Trump, but the warning from Israel was new and concerned a specific plot. other American officials suggested the Israeli report could be an effort to sway Trump's decision-making as he weighs whether to intensify American military action against Iran.
Starting point is 00:07:39 The details of the plot that Israel warned about were not immediately clear, and two sources familiar with the matter, said the U.S. had not vetted it themselves. The U.S. government has long warned that Iran may try to kill Trump in retaliation for the 2020 drone strike he ordered, which killed top Iranian general Qasim Soleimani. As for comment on the Israeli warning, which was first reported by the Wall Street Journal, the White House, pointed to Trump's recent comments on Iran's desire to kill him. They want to take out the U.S. leader. Me, Trump told a reporter's Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:08:04 I'm on whatever list. I saw this morning. I'm on every single one of their list. And so far, I guess I've been a bit lucky, but maybe that doesn't last very long. These are evil, sick people. We have to root out that cancer. That cancer, you know, what you do. You've got to cut the cancer out early.
Starting point is 00:08:17 And that's the way I feel. So I don't remember. What day was it that the bombing like really took off in earnest? It was that Tuesday, Monday or Tuesday? Maybe that was even Wednesday. It was while he's over there. but I got to imagine whatever intelligence he saw I know they say that it wasn't you know validated or commented on by the United States side but I get the feeling the impression based on
Starting point is 00:08:44 the strikes that we have now committed there's a different tone to Trump now and they're saying well they just you know attack a ship or whatever and this is our retaliation they've attacked ships like multiple times over the course the last few months and our retaliations have if we've them at all have been pretty lame compared to what we're seeing now. So I feel like whatever intelligence they saw, and I'm confident that Trump isn't just taking Israel's word on it. But I feel like whatever intelligence they saw, Trump did confirm it in some way, and this is why they're buying them so hard right now. Because he found out that he was on some sort of list. He verified the intelligence. They verified the intelligence of it. There's some
Starting point is 00:09:30 sort of plot probably had something to do with the plane which is why they took the different plane again some of this is pure speculation my part most of it is but that that's like the feeling i'm getting from this and this story coming out just a couple days after everybody's like hey so why are you taking a new plane why you take a new plane so we just wanted to show the other people the you know the the the the new plane we wanted to show the military base of the new plane so we're we decided to just take the old one for that that that story well nice great for the troops or whatever doesn't live up to my personal standard of BS. There's something going on.
Starting point is 00:10:09 And then this story coming out, I don't know, there's something to it. Something weird here, but not surprising. I just wonder if we're going to actually get details of the assassination plot. Misbehaving Irishman says, I've reached the point that every time I hear Iran's going to do this, I think Israel. That's a great way to look at it too. Katie Rose, LOL 420 would make more sense given his handle. That's true.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Penn W. Bannin says it's BS. What are you talking about? The story could be total BS, but it does come out in line with not only the switching to plane story, but also the clear like escalation in bombing of Iran. And Trump talking about being on some sort of list. Like he almost seems personally offended. Missy Brash, come on now, you know,
Starting point is 00:10:58 come on, you know Israel wants Trump gone. I would agree with that too. Penn W, the threat against Trump. Yeah, maybe this BS. Bannon may know more than Ida. He probably has more direct sources. I am purely speculating based on the public information we're getting. And most of the time, the public information is sciop fabricated, whatever.
Starting point is 00:11:21 But just pointing out the interesting aspects of it. Okay. So who knows? Ramone 222 threats against Trump are a given now. Yeah, that's for sure. That is for sure. Remember part of the memorandum of understanding was that both sides were going to agree to like stop interfering in each country's internal affairs. Assassinating the president would be one of those things.
Starting point is 00:11:48 And Trump's the kind of guy like he's got a little ego to him. Everybody does. But you know, if he's like in the in the middle of like working a deal with a country, especially one that we think there's bigger things going on behind the scenes. right even though we don't know the specifics of what that might be but there's some sort of bigger uh you know disassembly as as uh burnt spy would say it whatever the deal looks like it would ultimately be to the benefit of not just our country but iran too
Starting point is 00:12:22 and to find out that there might be people within the country or the people that he's working with that want him gone yeah it i could see him escalating the attacks on that country because of it like what we're seeing publicly or the story we're being told publicly does seem to track with that. But again, pure speculation. Jetpack Jones, assassinating a president would definitely qualify as interfering. Yeah, and actually the intelligence community, if you remember every year, every two years,
Starting point is 00:12:51 they put out a new ICA intelligence community assessment on the elections. And in 2022, they changed the definition of interference to include assassinations of candidates and leaders and whatnot. So definitely fits. But all right, let's get into this story a little bit. The White House fires election assistance commission leadership. I think I'm actually going to read the Just the News article. Trump terminates all members of the EAC ahead of the midterms.
Starting point is 00:13:25 All three of the remaining commissioners were removed in some way with two Democratic commissioners, Thomas Hicks and Benjamin Hoveland, notified by email. The Republican commissioner, Christy McCormack, was allowed to. to resign. By the way, these two Democratic commissioners, they were put in there by Obama back in 2015. Actually, no, that might not be wrong. This guy Thomas Hicks was and Christy McCormick was as well. Let me just find the link to it here. Here we go. Thomas Hicks and Christy McCormack, so McCormick was technically Republican, but they were sworn in on January 13th of 2015. They've been there over 10 years and they were put in there by Barack Obama.
Starting point is 00:14:07 They were unanimously confirmed by the Senate. And any time the Senate does anything unanimously, considering the Uniparty's existence, we know that it's not a good thing. I can't even look at it to Mark Rubio for that. I don't know a lot of people like Rubio, but those are negative indicators. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:27 Benjamin Huffland was sworn in on February 4th of 2019, following his nomination by President Trump. Oh, yeah, they edited the article some, but not because this other guy in here, Donald Palmer, this guy on the way right, he resigned back on April 30th of this year. Like he just recently resigned. And I believe he was another Democrat. No, he would have been a Republican. But anyway, they left there in there instead of him.
Starting point is 00:15:00 Anyway, so as they're supposed to be four. I'm getting all off track here. There's supposed to be four of them. There were three of them because Hovland resigned. or sorry, Palmer resigned, Trump got rid of the other three, okay? Notable. President Donald Trump on Thursday night reportedly terminated the members, which is an independent commission that assists election administration officials nationwide. All three of the remaining commissioners were moved in some way. On behalf of President Trump, I'm writing to inform you that
Starting point is 00:15:26 your position as commissioner of the EAC is terminated. Effective immediately, the email reads, according to the news outlet. Thank you for your service. The firings leave the four-member commission with no commissioners, meaning it cannot take official action until new members are installed. Fourth member, a Republican had left voluntarily earlier this year. Commissioners are required to be nominated by the president based on recommendations from the Republican and Democratic leadership in the House and Senate, and no more than two commissioners can serve from either party at a time. So a lot of this came from the slaughter ruling, in my opinion. Doesn't mention this in this article, but I mean, it kind of makes sense. He gets the slaughter ruling. He finds out that he
Starting point is 00:16:05 is allowed to to fire like heads of these agencies or you know people in um certain specific higher up roles and all of a sudden like just shortly after that he fires these people and the eAC i want to go through a couple things if you remember and i did a dig on this i didn't include in my article but i know i did a show on this in the past an old dpa h like dpa h number 50 or something where i was talking about some of these things and uh there's just there's a lot here okay the eac back in 2022 with the CARES Act money, they were responsible. Let me just read some of this. The COVID Relief Economic Security Act provided $400 million to the U.S.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Election Assistance Commission to allocate to states, the District Columbia, and the U.S. territories to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID domestically or internationally for the 2020 federal election cycle. Section 15011 of the Act requires. federal agencies to report on the use of the funds. So they were given a whole bunch of money for COVID to help with election stuff. And this is their report to like show what they did with the money. And when you go through like some of these lists,
Starting point is 00:17:18 especially in some of the bigger states, like you got, let me find and show you a couple here that are interesting to me. We have, uh, let's do Arizona. It was not allowed to use it. Georgia. I'm looking at the key states. Georgia, Georgia used the funds to ramp up its absentee ballot program
Starting point is 00:17:40 by sending applications to all voters. State centralized the ballot fulfillment to take the processing burden off the counties. The state also used the funds to educate voters on new election dates, blah, blah, blah, blah. But like mail-in ballot stuff. And what we're looking at right now in Georgia with the Fulton County stuff, interesting.
Starting point is 00:17:59 They use EAC-directed COVID funds to do so. Michigan was another one. The state uses its care as funding to print and mail postcards to voters who had not yet applied for an the voter ballot prior to the November election. We have Pennsylvania. State use CARES funds to send a direct mailer to voters to inform them about voting options during the pandemic and to purchase personal protective supplies.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Funds were also used for return postage for voters returning mail-in ballots. Huh. I mean, Wisconsin was another state, I believe, that I pointed out. Wisconsin used the funds for sanitation supplies, blah, blah, blah. to help handle the influx to traffic and accommodate extended deadlines for absentee requests and online voter registration and updated my vote website to allow voters to interact with the records and data with the new absentee ballot tracking service they also paid for increased costs for envelopes and postage for the absentee ballot system increased the number of poll workers a lot of these funds here were used to steal the election in my opinion okay we also have this I want to where is I have so many articles open. Do you remember back in 2022? I believe it.
Starting point is 00:19:22 Yeah, it was 2022 when Sisa came out and they said that there were multiple vulnerabilities within the Dominion voting system. And it was like this whole big thing. Like, oh, we were told that there wasn't any issues with these machines. And they came out with this advisory. There was nine different dominion voting. The vulnerabilities within the Dominion voting system. It came out on June of 2022.
Starting point is 00:19:47 And keep in mind, the EAC, they're the ones that are meant to, like, they certify all the election machines. And so keep that in mind that date. June 2022. Here's a list of the testing and certification program of all the election machines. HAVA mandates that the EAC accredited voting system test laboratories and certified voting equipment, making the first time the federal government has offered these services to the states, participation by the state's EAC's certification program is voluntary.
Starting point is 00:20:13 is voluntary. The EAC's full accreditation and certification program became effective January 2007. Think about this. June 2020, we get that list of vulnerabilities from Dominion voting systems. And on June 8th of 2022, they certify and accredit the Dominion voting system machine five days after that advisor came out. Ridiculous. Fixed bane it, no commissioners, no action. that's a good thing let's keep it that way ash sent a link in um says okay hear me out we don't replace them and shut it down for failure to achieve any of the objectives for which it was established yeah this is like when i look at cissa or i look at the eAC or really any government established entity with the stated purpose of securing our elections and making our elections more safe or
Starting point is 00:21:12 whatever running our elections every time i come across any of those it's not there to secure it on behalf of the the people it's there to secure it like fortify it for the enemy they use these agencies to implement their fraudulent system and now like this is a move that like we're finally seeing trump going after some of the agencies and entities that have uh helped perpetuate the fraud and protect the fraudulent election system and we know that there's been cuts and whatnot to sissa it's not all fully rooted it out though. This is something tangible you can look at
Starting point is 00:21:51 where you can see that they're chipping away at some of the the fraudulent election system and I love it. I love it. Claire Cat, 367, that's what Potus said. They're using COVID to steal the election. Very true. Jennifer Rae, 2020, I received
Starting point is 00:22:11 several absentee ballots that I did not request in Georgia. Ash 7076, that's my birthday. How dare they defile my birthday? Okay, read the original post. I'll just share this. This is what Seth Keschel posted. We woke up to the news that President Donald J. Trump
Starting point is 00:22:28 fired the two Democrat members of the EAC and with it received the resignation of the remaining Republican. Now comes the opportunity to replace entirely new EAC with realistic goals for helping secure elections. The three main impacts of this move are detailed in today's newsletter, linked in the first comment below. Eagle Ed Martin says important. And that's what Ash responds to why would we replace them. I'm totally in alignment with Ash here.
Starting point is 00:22:51 like the people working the entities aren't necessarily a problem they're part of the problem but the entities themselves that exist that allow the the the stone elections to take place and allow them to control how the elections are run that is the problem the entities themselves it's like it it's very weird how we've we've come so far the wrong direction with a lot of these solutions that we're seeking like when we used to talk about how the weaponized intelligence community is the problem we need to dismantle the FBI we need to what is it shatter it and scatter it into the wind or whatever like that was the mindset of a lot of people leading up to trump's election in 2024 then now that trump wins our favorite tv characters could put in these positions
Starting point is 00:23:38 like oh yeah we just got to get rid of the bad ones within the agencies we don't need to dismantle it overall no if the system is broken leaving the system there to exist like people will eventually come back in even if we get rid of all the bad actors the system is designed to be used against us and it will be used against us again they'll just come back in the system will allow them to again take hold and keep keep up with the shenanigans so that is not the solution it's just like put different people in there totally grish lance 2002 says in my opinion election fraud seems to be legal in certain precincts Yeah, that's kind of a problem, isn't it? Kind of a big problem, I would say. Ramone 2-22, Seth Keschel is trustworthy. Dude has the stats. Yeah, I like, Seth Keschel is great.
Starting point is 00:24:36 He knows the ins and outs of so much election stuff. It's bananas. But I think we disagree on probably some of the solutions. Although, like, he talks to Chris Paul, fair amount, and I think Chris Paul is probably bringing him around on some things. Wiley Coyote says, if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying. Isn't that a funny other solution that's like the Scott Pressler method of well, they're cheating. So we got to cheat too.
Starting point is 00:25:03 We just need to register more voters and do mail and ballots and stuff and whatever. That's not a solution. I mean, it's a solution to try to win fraudulent elections, I guess, but doesn't fix the fraudulent election system. That is for sure. Anyway, I thought I had more on that topic, the EAC. I know I did a bunch of digs on this back in the day, but I feel like I already got through it all. Oh, there's this. This is from 2022, but I kind of already talked about this.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Voting Software vulnerable in some states. Yeah. Anyway, we'll keep going through. Ramone 222, California legalized election cheating. Yeah, Spencer Pratt and put out that video. I think somebody was sharing it in here the other day. I think it was Phil Scarborough. I was like, yeah, it's a must watch.
Starting point is 00:26:03 It's a great video. I wish we would have been talking about that stuff a lot sooner, but it took him meeting with President Trump to put that video out. at least that's what it seemed like. Phil Scarborough, Seth's from my hometown, solid dude. He's a solid dude. Last time I saw him was at that Kansas Reckoning event, where MacGate spoke at. All the government has been designed for fraud.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Got to get back to the Constitution. Totally agree, Mr. Eamon. But let's see what else we got here. Key GOP lawmakers seeks vote to restrict birthright citizenship as Trump away's second Scoti appeal pushing back against the recent Supreme Court ruling that protected birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment House Republicans are renewing a legislative push to restrict birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants in order to force the issue back before the high court. I don't expect this to pass so not hold my breath but I guess
Starting point is 00:27:00 we'll see what happens. Oh, this was kind of bigger news this morning. Trump says he will not sign the housing bill without the Save America Act. President Trump said he won't sign the housing bill, which was passed Congress and is awaiting his signature unless the Senate approves the Save America Act. He also urged Senate Republicans to eliminate the filibuster to pass the bill, warning GOP lawmakers who oppose the measure could face political consequences. And this is his actual true social post, so I shall read it. From this morning, I will not sign the housing bill, which has been fully approved by Congress
Starting point is 00:27:32 and sent to the White House in protest over the fact the United States Senate is not capable of passing the Save America Act, which is polling at 97 percent within the state. the Republican Party and very high with the non-politician, Dumocrats. And yes, I know Trump says Democrats. I'm still going to say Democrats because I like it. The act states, quite simply, that to vote a person must show photo voter ID, proof of citizenship, and that there will be no more crooked, corrupt, and destabilizing mail and ballots, exceptions for military, disabled, illness, and travel.
Starting point is 00:28:04 The Save America acts non-passage is crazy and a serious threat to any politician who votes against it. If the Democrats are any rhino or worse working with them, do not allow a positive vote on Save America, terminate the filibuster and pass this and every other bill that true Republicans have ever dreamt of in addition to the upcoming budget bomb and the 1929 catastrophic-style debt-sealing bill, the Democrats will terminate the filibuster if and when they ever get the chance to do so in their very first hour. And I will no longer be able to call them the Democrats ever again. The title of dumb will revert to the Republicans who allowed this horrible calamity to happen to our party and our nation itself make america great again president donald j trump yeah so
Starting point is 00:28:45 i think it's funny that he keeps doing this like attaching the save america act to like everything in order to try to get it passed but i still don't think it's going to work and i still it to me this is him not wanting the housing bill passed either because i don't think he actually wants to save america act it's might have been my opinion for a long time since the first conversation me and chris had about it and then that hasn't changed. So we'll see what happens. Retarikin says Ash, I don't hate that. We can probably still do better. That's pretty fitting, pretty good. I wonder if Trump will use that, though.
Starting point is 00:29:27 The Qatar delegation visits Iran for de-escalation talks. Katari delegation has traveled to Iran for talks conducted in coordination with the United States officials in an effort to reinforce Doha's role as a mediator following recent escalation in Gulf tensions. Yeah, who knows if that'll work. Trump said that they're back to negotiating. I think you post about that this morning. Yeah, here we go.
Starting point is 00:29:52 The Islamic Republic of Iran has asked us to continue talks. We have agreed to do so, but the United States has stated to them in no uncertain terms that the ceasefire is over. Thank you for your attention to this matter. That makes it seem like we're just going to keep bombing them. But he seems like more upset now, right?
Starting point is 00:30:10 like again going back to what I said earlier it seems like he did hear something about the assassination plot and he found it to be valid because he is acting like somebody who's mad at the people he's negotiating with like could you imagine if you're negotiating and you're trying to negotiate with somebody in good faith or you're like you're dealing with somebody let's say it's a business partner or somebody who like just works for your company you're dealing with somebody somebody in good faith trying to treat them fairly helping them get through to like till they're able to like build up their own stuff but then you find out that that person is going behind your back and like trying to sabotage you
Starting point is 00:30:47 in some way how are you going to respond to that you're probably going to you know fire them and no longer deal with them generously and I think the way Trump is operating with them is kind of feels like that he's maybe still being fair but he's not putting up with any more BS because he's already been more than fair with them, I would say. Rock Justice, we know nothing played. That's true. C, C, oh, weird, that's never happened to you ever, right? It's only happened to me every single time.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Every time I'm trying to help somebody out or been beyond generous with somebody, they end up going behind my back to just try to destroy me. Phil Scarborough, why wouldn't Trump want the save act pass? Phil, have we not been over this a thousand times? I feel like we have. Simple Sam 1779. John, name one specific thing that this administration has done that has made you and your family's life better.
Starting point is 00:31:50 That's a good question. I don't think I can think of one. But I've never been one to, I've said that same thing a hundred times. So I don't know what your point is. The everyday American is not, you know, maybe there's some, maybe the stock market is up and those with retirement accounts, that's good. Gas prices were coming down, but they're not doing great right now. Mortgage rates still up. houses are still expensive.
Starting point is 00:32:17 A lot of prices all over the place aren't great. I see a lot of like the moves being made. I think, you know, it comes down to that switch theory that we used to talk about all the time. Like you could see the moves being made and it's like all it's going to take is a flip of a switch. And things are just going to be roaring to go. But we always speculated that switch was going to be as soon as Trump got into office. We're clearly wrong about the timing of it. McGriff, no good deed goes unpunished.
Starting point is 00:32:46 You know, that's funny. I was, when Ty and Jacey were here, we were kind of talking about that. Like how I have bent over backwards for so many people who've needed help. And I've done, like I've paid for expenses for people to come to Garts. I didn't know. I've bought people's computers. I've, you know, paid people salaries, you know, under the agreement that, you know, when either you leave, you pay it back or whatever.
Starting point is 00:33:15 I've given people loans. I've done all these things. Okay. And I'm not saying it's a blank in statement where everybody has screwed me over, but it's amazing how many times people have that I've helped out. But the conversation we were having, it was like, okay, well, you know, you got to stop doing that. And like, yeah, I understand why you'd say that. But also, I am of the belief that the more like good karma you try to put out in the world, the better.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Like eventually it'll come back to you in spades, I think. And it's, it's on their karma if they mess that up or don't reciprocate it, right? Like if I help somebody out and they're like, they then try to go behind my back and lie to everybody and try to destroy my business. Like that's not on me. That's on them. And eventually that will catch up with them and probably in a very, very major way. So I'm not going to stop doing that. Simple say I'm 1779.
Starting point is 00:34:07 My point is that Trump is one big grift and con man. See, that's where I disagree with you. I appreciate the rant, though. I love interacting with people who rant in their comments. I don't think he is a grift or a car man. I mean, I understand why people would think that. I just, I haven't seen enough evidence to support that. And I do friendly believe that is not him.
Starting point is 00:34:35 And if that is the case, we are beyond screwed. Beyond screwed. Eric Hugh Freeman, I love that simple minded Sam pays money to say dumb stuff. Yeah, I can get on board with that. Pretty Woman Tens. Is Trump made my life better by closing the board? I feel safer. The fact that ICE is trying to deport as many illegals as they can.
Starting point is 00:35:01 I'm sure there's more, but I'm just down the mood. Yeah, I don't, I'm not like as affected by the border stuff. We don't get a whole bunch of Canadian illegal immigrants up here in North Dakota. Talks to those in blue cities and small business owners and ask them, I'm neither. You know, I am a small business owner. And, you know, I do wonder if it wasn't for like the lawsuit stuff, how things would be going. but obviously like having to spend a fortune on attorneys and whatnot, that is not helped.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Crazy that Pollymarket is now headline news. Polymarket does headline news now. Just in, Trump is reportedly considering building permanent fencing outside the White House following recent security concerns. Back to that again. I'm sure that'll be a QD code, can't wait. John Henry Bonzo, deals are my art form. Other people paint beautifully or write poetry.
Starting point is 00:36:02 I like making deals, preferably big deals. That's how I get my kicks. Good for you. I don't mind deals either. Q of swords. Only do good for good sincere people. Scoundrels will scound. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:15 I mean, that's probably where I've been wrong. Like, some of the people I've helped, I gave the benefit of the doubt to, right? And that's my, that's one of my flaws. Like, I give the benefit of the doubt to so many people without them having earned it first necessarily. Or sometimes it's on the word of other people's, like other people vouch for them.
Starting point is 00:36:38 and that that has burned me a few times. But I still don't think it's the wrong thing in terms of karma. Like I would, I think at the time anyway, I would regret not helping people. Like it's so weird. It's not that I feel like if I didn't help somebody out when they needed it, I would regret not doing that for a long time. And like even now, having helped people out and been burned by them, I don't necessarily regret the.
Starting point is 00:37:08 the helping them out part, I regret that things turned out the way they did. Not that it was my fault. It was these people's fault. Does that make sense? I feel like I'd still have regret for not helping somebody, though, if that were the case. Maybe that doesn't make sense.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Running Patriot or Guimby, your reward does not depend on the actions or attitudes of the recipient of your good work, son and faith. Yeah. And I typically don't talk about him either, because I think that's, if you do things just to, so you can tell people you did them, I think that's, you're not doing it for the right reasons either. So I typically don't talk about, like there's a lot of things I've done that I, people will never know.
Starting point is 00:37:56 And I don't know why I said that. And I probably won't talk about this stuff again. So they keep calling Trump a dictator. He should be the dictator that they keep saying he is maybe those STFU. Maybe. I heard Trump admin just deported tampon Tim's rapist. Yeah, I heard that too. Phil Scarborough, have you ever went hiking in Badlands National Park?
Starting point is 00:38:16 You know I haven't, but I actually would enjoy doing that, I feel like. Not that I'm much of a hiker, but just the views out that way are amazing. True deplorable with Trump 2.0 executing two different batches of firings now in our election infrastructure. Please tell me crowd strike isn't still active in the security of elections. No, that's a good question. I cannot confirm nor deny that crowd strike is or is not running either. our services and our elections. I don't see why they wouldn't be. You know what? Let me see. That was a center for internet security situation. Let me see if I can find out.
Starting point is 00:39:01 Or here, actually, let's do it this way. Let me go to my Devo series. Let me go to my part 11. Let me scroll down to the contract and see some of the wording. Stop it. What just happened? There we go. Okay. Center for Internet security. for internet security, then endpoint detection, and let's see what comes up. Maybe we can find a recent contract. I mean, it still says that Center for Internet Security still does that. So whole for processing, doing kind of a live dig here.
Starting point is 00:40:28 Trigin 45, I'm kind of just tired of all this, just piss me off at this point. I don't want to hear about any more cut corruption until I see accountability for what they were doing. I agree. I think we're all at that point. Like we're sick of this stuff, right? We're sick of waiting. I'm sick of the excuses.
Starting point is 00:40:43 If it's coming, let's go. Let's get the ball in the road. Here's with the machine. And I could do a deeper dig on this. CIS Center for Internet Security has a formal public partnership with CrowdStrike that directly powers parts of its endpoint MDR offerings for government and public sector clients. They were the premier endpoint security partner, November of 2020. They expanded the partnership in 2023.
Starting point is 00:41:11 They added ESS Spotlight leveraging Falcon Spotlight to combine EDR with real-time vulnerability management. Let me see. So I'm pretty sure this is answering your question. I hope so. Yes, Assistant CrowdSai have a dedicated election focus track with their broader partnership. It centers on protecting U.S. election offices through Crowdstrikes Falcon platform delivered and managed by CIS.
Starting point is 00:41:51 They provide no-cost EDR for election offices. free endpoint detection and response service delivered a partnership with CrowdStrike device level protection against malware, viruses, and ransomware, real-time monitoring and response for election computers. And for a low-cost add-on, they can layer continuous real-time vulnerability management even election offices combined threat and vulnerability,
Starting point is 00:42:16 visibility, and prioritized remediation. So yeah, it sounds like they still do it, which is ridiculous. Crowdstrike, the same people. From the whole Seth Rich story are within the computers at our election offices. But we can trust that they are definitely securing them and not doing anything nefarious. That's for sure. To deplorable, I search John's X profile whenever I want to find out about CrowdStrike.
Starting point is 00:42:42 Yeah, another one would be my telegram. I don't use, like I don't post as much there as I used to. I should. What a Dragon 45? Bay 3Dade. John earned my trust the way he treated and supported me from day one. Loyalty is what he's all about. Thank you, Bay.
Starting point is 00:42:59 That is very true. That's the currency I value the most. It's a tie probably between Bitcoin and loyalty. Trusting CrowdStrike is like trusting runback. Agreed. True deplorable. I can't help but remember the Ukraine phone call when Trump said he heard of CrowdStrike. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:21 Yeah, that's a great one. All right. Let's keep going. What else is there? And there may not be anything. Ooh, Air Taxi Company. VETA wraps first test flights in U.S. government's pilot program. What does it mean by this?
Starting point is 00:43:46 VETA on Friday said it wrapped up the first test flights in the U.S. government's sweeping electric vertical takeoff and the landing pilot program aimed at making the vision of flying taxis a reality. The aerospace company, which is backed by Amazon, said the flights transported, manufactured organs from United Therapeutics between airports and Maryland of Virginia. Plates totaled about 275 nautical miles. Did you imagine like that? That's some of the stuff from the future, right? like the movies back to the future, the flying skateboards and all that stuff, like taxis that
Starting point is 00:44:12 just take off vertically and fly you wherever we need to go. Can't imagine the cost on that, though. Lance 2002 Telegram app took up all the space of my phone. It was also starting to give me ADHD. Yeah, that's, I totally see that. I don't like look for my information there as much as I used to, but that's where I communicate more so with separate groups of people. But real quick, guys, I'm going to do a soft disclosure spot.
Starting point is 00:44:42 Let me play. If I can find it, this one. No, Gigi, we can't stop for snatch, do we have to deliver all of the Soft Disclosure gift cards? It goes by Zach Hay. The emotion detector. Softdisclosure.com promo code, I think, is Muffin Hit It, which is an awesome promo code. But yeah, I highly encourage you guys to not only support. bad-lanced media by getting yourself some soft disclosure but the products as i keep raving about
Starting point is 00:46:32 are incredible deodorant you won't find one better the lotion you won't find one better the beard oil put that stuff all over my face every single day it's why i'm always glowing it's not because i'm pregnant it's because of my beard oil which doubles as like a skin serum or something i mean and that's not like i don't know there's probably some like fda rule or something i'm not supposed to say whatever, but I use it all over my face every single day. So just saying. Mike, I still love you all know. Homa. Ash is kind of hot, though.
Starting point is 00:47:03 That's a weird thing to say. But you do you, man. Dr. Reagan 45. I have a new grandbaby and her skin was kind of cracked and dry. I gave my daughter what I had left, and she said it helped tremendously. I ordered more for the baby girl. Thanks, John. Did you hear that?
Starting point is 00:47:16 Baby skin. It's cracked. And soft disclosure. Help that baby's skin. we could probably now say that we have saved many babies lives with our lotion a flyer 7663 what's your favorite episode of the office oh man gosh there's so many good ones so many good ones i love the one with uh the CPR and the staying alive that's a great one i don't know i haven't rewatched i haven't done an office rewatch in a long time and i'm going
Starting point is 00:47:50 to start doing that right now i'm actually doing a a parks and rec kind of rewatch as i'm falling to sleep to get a couple episodes at a time here or there that show's underrated too that show's super funny but yeah after that i'll start doing the office again but yeah fire drill is a great episode that's a great episode too ashes we can say that but it's not medical advice that's what i meant yeah so all these things is not medical advice it will save your baby's life and their skin but not medical advice bears beats and battle scar galacta that's a good one it's really hard to choose it depends what kind of mood you're in too like some episodes depending on the mood i'm are better, like if I'm mad or something, like certain episodes will hit me different ways.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Like, it just, I don't know. Ash 7076, we spotlight them in the newsletter. Oh, yeah, we do have a newsletter for soft disclosure.com, too. If you go to our website, you can sign up for it. You get better discounts, reviews, stories, and whatnot. It's great stuff. Dwight making staff turn two-plied to one plight. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:48:59 Okay, let me see if there's anything else. I was trying to archive a story here because it came out that, a judge has blocked Trump's anti-DEI conditions on California Oregon grants, which I mean, that makes sense. But remember how I was saying, you know, when these, when the Trump administration comes out and tells us that there's all this fraud, and then they go to the states and like, you're committing all this fraud. We're not going to give you money until you stop doing the fraud or do certain things.
Starting point is 00:49:24 Some of that was tied to like DEI stuff. Now a judge is telling them they can't do that anymore. But when the government says to, when the federal government says to the state government that we're not going to give you money until you stop the fraud. What do the people say to the federal government when it comes to their fraud? I feel like the valid argument is we're not going to give you any money either. Just saying.
Starting point is 00:49:46 But with that, guys, I think I'm out of stories. Double check in just to be sure. But yeah, I'm out of stories. I do believe I will be on Only Lance tonight. And I believe I will be joined by let me see who I'm joined by. I just posted in our other chat. here. It's going to be me, Drake, J.Triot, Matt, Alpha, and Burning Bright. And I also did tell
Starting point is 00:50:11 Ash that if she wanted her she could, just to get some, you know, give Burning Bright some more feminine energy that. I don't want him to be the only one. But she might have other plans. I don't know. But it'll be a fun time either way. So make sure you guys tune into that. Also, I will be on the power hour tomorrow. Might do some bad gaming this weekend, but I might also just replay some Gart stream stuff. Depends what's going on. But we'll see. Ash says,
Starting point is 00:50:37 Soft Disclosure also saved Fat Chance and Whiskey's grandbaby too. See, I didn't even know that. You should send me those pictures, Ash. I'd actually love to see that. Clearcat says, I have one of the soft disclosure lotions I got at Gart to the pasty lady in Deadwood for her son who really had bad skin issues. Did she say it saved him? Rock Justice, what time?
Starting point is 00:51:00 That is at 10.30 p.m. Eastern. Ash is skipping the French thing. What about the locals thing? Yeah, the locals thing, that'll be like a next week thing and a random thing. If you were following on locals, there will be times where before my show, I will, maybe it's a half an hour, maybe it's an hour. I don't know. Before the show starts, I'm going to go live over there on locals and just hang out with you guys while I'm doing show prep. So we shall see guard tickets.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Those are coming soon. I think our event manager is in Canada right. now. I'll get with her and we'll let you know very soon. But anyway, guys, with that, I'm going to rage you guys all over to Ghost. So I hope you all have a great rest of your Friday. Do me a favor. Hit that thumbs up here and on YouTube. It's very appreciated. We're back on over there. We want to get that momentum going again. And with that, you guys have a great rest of your day. I will see you tonight.
