Trump trolling and when he knows that it upsets people and it gets the news cycle talking about Trump can't just do that. He can't just rename the straight of Hormuz, the Trump straight. He's not allowed to do that. He's getting them to talk about anything other than the important things that would, I don't know. I guess I don't know why he wants him talking about that than anything else.

But I do have a story today that actually will go through talking about, remember yesterday I think it was? We were talking about the impeachment of Trump. And that's what they're going to look to do. And maybe they're going to use this new whistleblower to do it. This is what the Hill put out today. Maybe we'll even start with this. A third Trump impeachment looks inevitable.

But what kind? Why does it look inevitable, guys? You can't believe the polling they're about to reference, but we're going to read some of this anyway and talk about it. As the final primaries wrap up and we head into the full gale of the general election campaign season, the consensus is that Republicans are all but certain to lose their very narrow House majority.

the consensus is that we're going to lose the majority. The red team's going to lose the majority. Who comes up with that consensus? What does that consensus derive from? Or could it be the fake polls maybe? Or what about the betting markets? What about just all the pundit? There is no such thing as consensus over stuff like this,

especially when it comes to fraudulent elections. The only consensus is, is they plan on stealing the election. and so they need the results that they fabricate to line up with the narrative that they're selling ahead of time. If you ask Nate Silver and his team, they'll say there's an 86% chance of Democratic control with the highest probability of a 15 steep majority for the blue team. Oh my gosh, she actually said blue team. Like I, that's how I refer to them, red team blue team. That's funny.

The gang at Decision Desk HQ sees a slightly closer contest forecasting a 66% probability that Democrats take over. with a fat part of their bell curve right around a 12-seat Democratic majority. But nobody seems to think that what amounts to a two-seat current majority for House Republicans will survive whatever is brewing up for this fall. That's a real bummer for Republicans. Even that the GOP spends all that money and effort on their mid-decade gerrymandering blitz, only to see it become their me magnoline. I don't even know what that is in reference to, and maybe that makes me retarded,

but I will fully admit that I am such for M-So. The Megano Line was a vast French system of forts, bunkers, artillery positions, anti-tank obstacles, and underground facilities built mainly in the 1930s after World War I. France intended it to deter or slow a German invasion and give its army's time to mobilize. It was named for French Minister of War Andrei Meganoe. Why it did not stop Germany? It was simply useless because it was too simplistic. Okay, so I see the reference trying to make here. All that effort was going to be essentially for nothing.

If you look at the current ratings from the Cook Political Report with Amy Walter or Sabato's Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia, you see that the GOP is only netting out three or four sure gerrymandered pickups, nowhere near enough to save them. Jeremy Toussaint, good to see, man. What's up, New Kays? If the GOP is that worried about it, why aren't they making sure Ken Paxton wins in Texas? Because remember with the GOP, if Ken Paxton is a legitimate, like America First, supporter of Trump wanting to go in there and do the right things for the right reasons.

If he's truly that kind of guy, and there's some reason to believe that. I know some people have met him who love him. The amount that the mainstream media has attacked him over the years has been pretty telling. But if he is all those things, then that means he is fundamentally anti-GOP

because the GOP is part of the uniparty, and they don't want candidates like that to win. So it makes total sense. why they're not making sure Ken Paxton wins. And also, like, if you're the establishment and you have the ability to steal a state that has been traditionally red the last few years,

like Texas, I know they like to call it purple, but it's gone very red. I mean, it's been red in recent memory. But they've been stealing some down ballot stuff and wreaking enough havoc anyway, where if they can steal a big seat like that in Texas, a Democratic senator from Texas that is like a huge narrative

for them to push to that we're moving on from Donald Trump oh yes you guys this this turnout in the election here it makes sense look what happened in Texas does that make sense so I don't see the the GOP they can pretend to be scared all they want

they can pretend to spend money in races that it won't matter at the end of the day Trump is seeking to destroy them and we should be too metaphorically speaking. And so they want Trump gone just as much as everybody. They have to pretend they don't, especially because of Trump's control over the party

and the base supports Trump, not necessarily the party. They can't pretend to like, they can't actually come out and do anything that will look like they're going against Trump. But I would wager that when they get the opportunity to, they will disavow him. Bill Scarborough, don't fall for the ops.

Republicans will hold Congress. Maybe. Maybe it is all BS. Maybe we will win the midterms. But just like we won the 2024 election and got a majority in all the houses, we still can't get anything done. So does it even matter? Not a huge rush to celebrate either team getting control because at the end of the day,

if our team, the red team gets control, literally nothing changes. And they will continue to not implement Trump's agenda. The only maybe bright side of it. it is we want to go through the impeachment story again. Frederick Leathers, it didn't stop Germany because they went around it. Why are we reading from the hill again? Because this is a narrative that the left is trying to push. It's about impeachment.

And I could say that about literally every news organization. Why are we reading from this? If we're not reading documents, what the hell are we doing? But it's, I mean, this is what we do. Phil, you've been here long enough to know. Don't ask me that question. We go through this stuff to get in the minds of those trying to continue the theft of elections and raking us over the calls.

Let's keep going. Let's see. Let's do this. Certainly that's how watching behaving. The closed-door meeting between Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law, an ambassador without portfolio, and House majority minority, sorry, leader Hakeem Jeffrey, certainly suggests an air of democratic inevitability. So does the capitulation from House Republicans on punting the rest of their legislative agenda

until after the election. I did not see a story about that happening, but that is, we'll read that story next, I think. How big of a prospective Democratic House majority maybe certainly matters, most of all the Jeffries. He's going to be getting at least a half dozen more members of the squad or the Justice Democrats or whatever you like to call the blue version of the Tea Party.

They will be intent on making it as hard as possible for the would-be speaker to get anything done. So no change from now, I suppose. But if Democrats have a great year instead of just a good one, The extra seats will come from Republican-leaning swing districts likely to produce pragmatic new representatives. And this is the narrative they want. They want to be able to steal Republican seats so they can pass the narrative that people are moving on from Trump. They can pin everything on Trump as possible. And that's actually a win for not just the left and their narratives, but the GOP,

they're good with that narrative too. So are all the conning influencers everybody. They all want to move on from Trump. They just can't do it. They've tried to multiple times when they thought it was the opportune moment, right? Oh, Trump, he committed an insurrection. We got to disavowal that. Trump's got to stop saying that the elections are stolen.

Trump is just, he's got too many indictments. We got to move on to Ron DeSantis. Oh, I guess it's going to be Trump. Okay, he's always had my full support. I love that man. But if we get to another point in time, guys, where they see the opportune moment, they're going to jump right back off the bandwagon. That's how these people operate.

Let me look something up here. How many new Republicans are expected to win their general races in 2026? How many new Republicans are expected to win their general races? This won't be a perfectly accurate number. Um, it doesn't really give us a, doesn't really give me a number. Give me an estimated range of the most possible, actual new members of House or Senate. I'm talking best case scenario. Because I have a point with this.

What are we going to get? 15, 20, 30? Well, I'm waiting for this low. Like 30 new people. And you're telling me all of them are mega and all of them. them are going to to make the difference that Trump needed. So I'm skeptical of that. Yeah, he's the, the machine says,

House probably about 12 to 20 new representatives, Senate about three to five. Combined high-end plausible range is 20 to 25 new Republican members. That's if everything goes well. That's best case scenario. And that's combined House and Senate. That means everybody else that we have are all returning. So are those 20 to 25.

Let's come back to the story, read a little bit more, and then we'll go on to the rest of the news. There are a few Democrats saying that it would be a pointless distraction

to launch it another failed impeachment. The party should use a new House majority to focus on issues that matter the American people. This sounds good would make a certain amount of sense. for the fact that a new House majority wouldn't be doing much of anything at all. Let's take the high end of the register for Democrats as fall, and suppose that they have a substantial cushion in the House and manage to flip the Senate.

Even in that world, Democrats would be nursing a one or two-seat Senate majority that would surely include red state moderates unwilling to go along with radical moves. As far as legislating goes, the presidential veto power makes a Senate a lot easier to blockade than the straight-of-hormoos. Though the only work that's likely to be done in an divided Washington is going to be around shutting down the government and then trying to reopen it, Get your furlough counters ready. I expect that to kind of be the case, too.

It's going to be not much different than now. They're literally not doing anything. You know what they voted on yesterday or last night? They wanted to condemn socialism. They got everybody in there. They voted to condemn socialism. What does that condemnation actually accomplished? What does it do?

It doesn't make your lives any easier. It's the strongly worded letter of Congress. And they write a lot of strongly worded letters. So that's not even a great metaphor. Anyway, let's read what they're doing now for the rest of the term. Republicans in both chambers are staring down a September sprint after returning from August recess with a jam-packed legislative agenda and little time to clear their biggest remaining priorities before the midterm election crunch.

At the top of the House's list is passing a short-term stopgap spending measure, also known as a continuing resolution, to avert a potential shutdown, keep the government funded past the September 30th fiscal deadline. Wouldn't it be funny if the government shut down right before the minimum, midterms. I'd love for that. I'd love to see it. What will likely be more of a headache for the GOP in both chambers is trying to push

through a third reconciliation package that President Trump has been clamoring for. House passed a budget blueprint last month that outlined 73 billion in defense and intelligence funding, 12 billion for ag, and 10 billion for a fund aimed at incentivizing states to adopt Trump-backed voting restrictions. But a number of Republicans in the upper chamber rallied against House-passed budget resolution. They released a GOP version, blah, blah, blah. They ended up reaching a deal.

Anyway, the lower chamber returns next week, only to leave Washington again the week after. While the upper chamber is insulated to return until September 14th, they're super busy with these long vacations. They'll leave Republicans in the House and the Senate roughly three weeks to work on their top priorities before leaving for another month-long recess in October. They ain't going to get anything done. What are you talking about, Kimega?

that may be true we may be getting donations like $400 million dollars worth for some of the construction But the total, total, but like there is half a billion dollars going into constructing what's underground. And that's just an estimate. Like they're not paying for that stuff too. Maybe some of the people who donate the money are also, you know, maybe donating some of the supplies underneath, getting contracts.

There's a lot of tech going on under there, but it's not 100% a donated gift. Some of it's still tax dollars. And then here, Trump said, I'm not trying to force I ran to the bargaining table as ABC fake. news reported I couldn't care less if they sign a worthless to them agreement. I like a position now much better with almost total control of the Hormu Strait and their economy totally collapsing. They're just paying out, playing out the inevitable. When are the Iranian people going to rise up and fight?

He does keep throwing that out there, that question. Every so often. When are they going to rise up and fight the battle for us? Yeah, there's really nothing else from Trump that I thought was interesting. we can talk about this a little bit here's from yesterday Besson was at the G20 he did invite the Russian

representative to come we'll get into that here shortly Bessna warns Iran's outside backers to stay away as Trump seeks to asphyxiate Tehran's economy the warning comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin pledged support for the U.S. adversary issued a stark warning to Iran's global lifelines Wednesday telling those

still propping up Tehran to stay away. As the Trump administration moves economically to asphyxate the regime, we are telling friends and foes, do not deal with this evil regime. Like everybody, stop doing it. And yet they invite Russia to this. And here's Russia shows support for Iran that strikes involving the U.S. continue. The U.S. and Iran are trading strikes once again. Now Russia is showing its support for Iran. It comes as the war in inflation. It's costing Americans more. Here's ABC's Karen Hua. This morning, the war with Iran intensifying. New video from U.S. Central Command shows the U.S. targeting Iranian radar systems, defense and communication sites. But Iran claims the U.S. is bombing civilian areas, including a wedding. The Pentagon denies this.

saying, quote, we're aware of the reports. The U.S. military never targets civilians. As the war drags on, Russia is now pledging more support for Iran. Vladimir Putin telling Iran's president, quote, in this difficult period, we're supplying you with goods that you need. I believe that between the kinetic action that our great military did for six weeks, the blockade and the greatest, the effort at financial isolation in the history of the world, If through the world, we are going to grind them into the ground.

Treasury Secretary Scott Besson says he thinks the U.S. can force Iran to the bargaining table, especially after President Trump declared an economic deed. You get it. I hate how mainstream media does their news coverage of stuff like this. But yeah, so Russia supports Iran. We invite Russia to the Economic Summit while publicly telling the world that if you're supporting Iran, you're going to be in big trouble. Like there's some there's some contradictions happening here that I don't think we get the full we don't have the full picture of yet

She joined the firm about 18 months ago. I'm wondering, well, I mean a lot of people when they see any of these incidences, people assume that they're like fake.

And they very well could be. Very well could be. But like, I know there's a bunch of conspiracy theories going around with this. But I just also want to say that while I do think some things are probably faked, I do know and believe that bad things do happen. The machine guns are not protected by the Second Amendment as they are dangerous weapons of war unfit for self-defense. the court also upheld the requirement to register silencers, calling it a minimal burden. In the case of Joseph Paul Berger, convicted and sentenced to 37 months, Judge Stefanos Bibas, wrote that such bans match historical limits on unusual arms, though gun rights advocates criticize the decision for limiting core protections.
