There's not been one moment of rest for us, let me tell you, because, you know, the constantly evolving landscape of, you know, call it cyber protection, personal digital protection, all that sort of stuff is moving. It's a moving target. And so, you know, there's never a day

to rest. And what I also like really love educating people about, especially when come on here, and I love coming on your program, because you've got a great audience, is like, that cybersecurity is not some like, you know, just nerds and computers and stuff like that. Like it's actually a very much more holistic way in which you conduct your life. Like, you know, you can, there's a lot of different ways you can do it.

I mean, the problem is that such a small amount of information can be used to target you. For instance, like, are you, do you wear your name badge for your office or something like that into the grocery, store and you leave that exposed. So now somebody knows your full name and your and your place of business. That's a small little thing that has nothing to do with cybersecurity. You know, it's not like your passwords or something like that, but it's just how you conduct your life. And making sure that we can,

you know, we're always kind of privacy absolutists. And so, you know, making sure that you protect yourself in ways that are outside of just, you know, the important things like two-factor authentication and cycling your passwords is a big part of it. Have you guys, you know, since last time we talked, it's been a little while, but, you know, the whole AI thing has kind of gone off the rails. Do you guys encounter AI? A lot, do you guys use AI? And I know there's a couple stories you specifically want to get it into, and I know we

have limited time. I just want to throw that out there real quick. Yeah, you know, we in our, in our, you know, what we use for the actual business is we, we don't. We are very, very careful in making sure that, like, the actual product itself, um, doesn't rely on it as much as some of the, you know, the large platforms that we have to work with just do. It's so, you know, but for our purposes, we try to limit the amount that we have to interact with it at all. Not that it's necessarily itself bad, but it's also even just for like us training our own minds and making sure that we're like, you know, staying, staying, you know, mentally athletic and not just like relying on something. I think AI, AI for the majority of people is very helpful if you already know something.

And you just need to be like, hey, just proofread this for me or something like that. I think in general, that's what people use it for. I think what it is damaging for, and we see this especially in like children and their test scores and stuff like that, it is not teaching them. And it's not training young brains. And that's a scary thing. And aside from that, the larger implications of like what it does to our cybersecurity is it makes it vastly easier to target normal Americans that are that are just, you know, trying to conduct their lives. And it is, it is, you know, created an extremely deft weapon for, you know, cyber criminals to be able to use. And we see this time and time again.

We see heartbreaking stories all the time. Yeah, crazy. Yeah, let's talk a little bit about the stories that you had sent over. So I know there's the big data breach. Was the FBI hacked this week? Also true, but the big, yeah, the big data breach. I mean, this is by far the largest breach of probably the, you know, the last couple of years. Yeah, probably everybody that is, you know, let's call it half of people that are on this, you know, listening to this broadcast had their, driver's licenses stolen. What do I mean by that? It's not that it was like, you know, the information was aggregated. I'm talking like front and back pictures of your driver's licenses was stolen. How did this happen? There was a backdoor that was exploited by a cyber

criminal, let's just say, I don't know if it was a syndicate or, you know, a lone wolf or whatever that used how to had a was getting this from the source imagine this like oftentimes what happens with these breaches is that they go in they find something and they grab a whole bunch and run out the door with it of data this was very different this was somebody that had gotten hold of a faucet of data and held it there held a bucket underneath it for a year well and so every time that you have to, you know, you go to like some liquor stores and you have to show your, you know, your, your driver's license to prove you're over 21 or whatever, even though

at this age is quite flattering. But they take it and they put it under, they put it under a scanner. That's what this is. Like this company, IDscan.net, they were used in a lot of, they use Hertz rental car, Target, Caesars, Casino, like a lot of different places where age and, you know, government ID needs to be verified. That's what was stolen here, front and back pictures, actual color pictures of your information. In fact, you know, a guy who were big fans of David Krebs, Krebs on security broke this story, you know, vetted it and broke it because, you know, that was shown that online in the dark web, there was all of these driver's licenses that were for sale. And this was, he even offered up his own driver's license from the breach just to show

the veracity of it. So yeah, it's pretty bad. Crazy. And then there's this story you sent over to, so I'm just trying to like read through through this one. Not loading out AI voice cloning scams are on the rise. Yeah. So I mean, this was just an example of something that had happened in the last, this last year. And what? One of the things that I really, really want to warn everybody about is the use of AI for voice clones. So the way that this typically works is when a cybercriminal targets you, let's just say, decides that you're worth the squeeze, right? And they're because they think based off of your demographics, you know, all the information

that's published on you by data brokers, you know, your name, your address, your relatives names, they might find your relatives name. Do a search for them. Maybe it's your daughter or son or granddaughter or grandson or something like that. Maybe see if they have a YouTube channel where they've posted themselves or an Instagram or Facebook or something like that. Try to take a snippet. It could be as little as three seconds. Take a snippet of their voice and then they can make an AI voice clone of you. That's crazy. And then what they'll do is they'll call you at like two in the morning, like was the case with this, you know, this, by the way, that link is also not opening up for me. So I don't know what was going on with it. But,

you know, this, that's far from, far from the only isolated example. They call you up in two in the morning and say like, mom, mom, I'm, I'm stuck. I'm somebody's trying to, you know, hurt me or whatever. I need, I need $2,000 and, you know, to get me out of this jam. And it's a voice clone and it's it's heartbreaking you know that that this happens it's just all for though it's yeah it's crazy and so what they try to do is they catch you off guard they have a very convincing voice clone they have something you know they put you if there's actually a lot of psychology behind it where they like put you in a state of fight or flight you know in a and and catch you off guard and like how can i put this like they they make sure that your decision making is

impaired by putting you in that state of fighter flight. I mean, this is why, like, you know, there was great story. I mean, heartbreaking, but a really great example that happened a couple years ago of a woman that was called before even AI was, you know, prevalent like this. She was called and she was, she ended up staying on the phone with a hacker from overseas and was going to different CVSs across the Bay Area getting this guy, 500,000. of gift cards at different CVS's until I think it was like $4,000 was gone or something. I think she went to like eight different ones. And so it was like, and this happened over the over like four hours.

So it just shows that like when, when I stress the psychology behind it because when you're put in that state of fight or flight, you're really discombobulated. You're really not, you know, thinking straight. And this is exactly what happens. To that end, like, you know, the whole point of what we are, like I said, we're privacy absolutist. And we find it reprehensible that are that there are hundreds of data brokers that publish this information without your consent to stop you, you know, to make you vulnerable. That's exactly, you know, why we got in business because we were just like, this is unacceptable. And nobody is doing anything about it.

And so, you know, we built, we built something to do something about it. Yeah, and I appreciate that. I use, you know, your service. And I have noticed my scam calls have gone significantly down scam emails as well. It's been great. And especially now because a lot of people are trying to dig into me online because they, because of a lot of Twitter drama, it's so stupid. But Skip, where can people find you?

becoming so prevalent right now, and like going to kill us all is one thing. I don't know if Patriot protecting, protect us from that, but I can only imagine that these scammers are going to get more sophisticated. So give it some consideration for sure. I did say I was going to go on one more rant about the drama. Okay. And I'm hoping, I'm honestly hoping this is going to be the last time that I need to address this. But, you know, there's more people responding, all that stuff. As my buddy said, we kicked the hornet nests, hornist nest, and everybody's freaking out on Twitter. And you know what? Maybe it's a good, good thing that this discussion is being had right now.

Maybe that's not a bad thing. But it's going to be responsive to a specific post. So I put out the video of the rant I did yesterday onto the interwebs. put it on to social media and this guy, Sun Tzu, responded. And this is a guy, I've known him for a long time, but I haven't interacted with them in quite a while. Hold on. Why is my screen share not working?

This is if I can't get my screen to share it. It's going to, oh my gosh, my computer is like freezing. So hold for processing, guys. Oh, what is going on? I've been hacked or something. My entire computer just froze. Oh, there. Can you guys see me?

Do you guys see me? Can you get a five by five? Yes, Phil. Vote people make them harder or make them work harder to cheat. Nobody's disagreeing with you. Okay, you guys can see me. Okay. So this is in response to the video I put out yesterday.

This Sun Tzu account comes out and says, I understand your point, John. I remember the point of this video that I put out yesterday. is like these people can't control us like the public pressure the money it doesn't matter don't care but sunzu comes out and responds i understand your point john but people on your platform are going full-blown anti-trump at some point you've got to call them out if not president trump then who who is your strongman and it's kind of a clever little you know burden shift like asking me who my strong man is and this is kind of the op a lot of these people are trying to frame this as badlands is anti-trump

Trump is my guy. Like I have always been on the Trump bandwagon. I'm actually on the Trump 2028 train. And anybody who's watched my show, like you guys in the audience, you all know where I stand. So like that framing of these people is dishonest. It's also dishonest to be like these people are telling you not to vote. Because while there are a couple people on Badlands who have done that, not everybody has done that. So that is dishonesty, but whatever.

But the thing is everybody in Badlands, except for maybe shipwreck and obviously shipwreck believes that there is something bigger going on behind the scenes like with Trump specifically and so that means that shipwreck sees things through an entirely different lens than the rest of us too and that's okay but these people that are like attacking badlands and going after us right now they have created this like weird purity tested and like super gate kept social media bubble for themselves. And they clearly don't understand that there are a lot of people out there, like real people who share Shipwreck's perspective. Like she's not alone in how she feels about things. Like just look at the man on the street video I did last week.

And I personally think that hearing that perspective has a ton of value. And I'm actually able to hear alternative perspectives without adopting it if I don't agree with it. That's like how normal people operate. Like we need to be able to listen to these different perspectives. And it's very important to do this to understand why they see things differently and figure out a way to build some sort of bridge and move the ball forward. Shipwreck isn't a bad person. She doesn't want to see America burn like these people are saying she does. She's a mom with a platform.

I don't like everything she says. I disagree with a lot of what she says. And I actually admit that. Anytime like you guys will come into the chat and tell on her for like, oh, did you hear shipwreck said this? Like, oh yeah, I don't agree with that. I see things differently. That's totally normal.

She's like a friend of eyes. I don't agree with her and I don't like everything she says, but I'm still not going to censor her because of that. I'm not going to demand that she, like, I'm not going to demand ideological conformity from her. And I'm definitely not going to condemn her or call her out just because the mob on Twitter thinks I need to police her opinions and then turn badlands into some sort of echo chamber.

I just, I refuse to bend the knee to the mob. I trust you guys in our audience, and I say this so many times, but I mean it. I trust you guys in the audience enough to like expose you to alternative opinions and allow you to make up your own minds. like the people who don't like what shipwreck says they just don't watch what she said they'll watch other stuff on badlands just like people who don't like what I say

will watch other shows and they just don't watch mine that's normal behavior but what these people are doing it's not like it's less of an argument and it's more of a lynching if we're being honest nobody's out there trying to like understand

what shipwreck is saying they're if we're being honest again there's certain corners of the queue community hashtag not all Q people who are if anybody who questions voting they're a traitor and they deserve to be publicly condemned and what's even worse as i said earlier is there's this dedicated effort to disingenuously assign her opinions to everybody else on the network and i can only assume that's an effort to tear badlands down because why would you be lying like that unless there was ulterior motives and by the way for the people

with the goal of unity and waking up the normies because that's what they always say and i would kind of consider ship to be a bit of a normie and i mean no disrespect by that but it's a weird strategy to accuse people who disagree with you of treason for not voting because like 50 percent of the population don't vote in the midterms like give or take a few but that's and that's probably actually being generous. But there's over half the United States voting age eligible Americans who do not vote in the midterms. Is half the country committing treason? And then are you planning on waking up that half of the population by telling them that they're committing treason or whatever and should be condemned and called out? Like, that's absurd. It's absurd. But all that aside, all that aside,

I have enough faith in Trump. Like I actually do have faith in Trump to believe that shipwreck is not going to destroy the plan that these people have spent years telling us nothing could stop. And Sun Tzu himself just a week ago

affirmed that. Where we go when we go all? Nothing can stop what is coming. I firmly believe this. Do you though? And it shows some like weird insecurities that these people have about their own beliefs. Because if the outcome is truly, like truly cannot be stopped, which you say, you firmly believe,

then individual electoral participation shouldn't matter. It can't be something that can change the outcome. But if voting is a requirement, then you don't actually believe in the nothing can stop what is coming. And it was never true. It's so dumb. So no, I don't think shipwreck has committed treason. I'm not going to call her out publicly or condemn her for.

it. I'm not going to call her out or any of my friends at Badlands for it. I'm not going to force anybody to take purity tests. And I'm going to go back to the regular, like scheduled programming that we have here at Badlands where you guys get to watch me be retarded every day. And I'm going to try to be done with this. We've given this way more oxygen than it probably deserved, but this is what we sometimes have to do when these ops take place. But it's so funny they're like trying to dig into my personal life again and and call me all these things that i'm not they're trying to so so last week when and you guys if you watch badlands regularly which you guys in the chat do you already all know this story because i talked about it publicly on air

the day it happened but when we were going to vegas for gart i had accidentally left my handgun in my bag like it's kind of ridiculously retarded of me but hilarious at the same time that i did that And obviously they caught it at TSA and that was the whole thing. Talked about it on air the day it happened or the day after it happening. I think that happened Wednesday and we did the VIP dinner live stream on Thursday. And they're trying to dunk on me for that. Like that's how stupid these people are. It's all just drama and it's all coming from the same corner of the internet.

But as I said earlier, it's maybe a good thing that these discussions are being had because they should be had. The difficult conversation should be had. There are people out there that believe voting is not the answer and we should be able to have a discussion with them and understand why they feel that way and Maybe make a better argument and change their minds instead of just Condemming them and calling them traitors and telling them they're committing treason You're not going to move the needle or wake anybody up by doing that You're not going to get any form of unity to take out the deep state by doing that like we can do better. Okay? We all need to just like settle down a little bit, not get so emotional and move forward.

It's going to be okay, guys. And yes, people say mean things sometimes. Sometimes the hosts say mean things to people in the chat. Sometimes the chat says mean things to the hosts. They go back and forth. That is normal human behavior. Obviously in a perfect world, nobody would ever say a mean thing about anybody. And everything would just be sunshine and rainbows.

But that's just not reality. Got to have some thicker skin, bam. Soothe their asses for defamation. There's one person individual, in particular, that I would love to and plan to. It's just, do I want to waste any more money? I mean, I still might anyway, because I know this person doesn't have anything, but just to get him to shut up. But anyway, Brandon Nicole 711, is she willing to debate anyone from Badlands, embrace the friction a little?

But I think everybody would lose their damn minds over it again because they always do.

But guess what guys? It's going to be okay. It's going to be okay. I actually do have enough, like I said earlier, enough faith in Trump to believe that he is not relying on winning the midterms to, to get us to where we think he's taking us. I actually believe that. And that is not me saying I'm not voting.

And that is not me saying that nobody else should vote. You guys can make up your own damn minds. You guys are all adults here. Stop farming out your critical thinking to other people. All right. Camel probably be there too. He needs to work. He's been slacking.

Yeah. He should be there. Yeah, but I can destroy a lot. Yeah, there's a lot of people call people. You guys just, that's a thing.

for your own mental health, and this is something I learned very early on, giving in the mud with these people is never worth it. And constantly exposing yourself to it isn't good for your mental health either. Like if you're getting sucked into the drama, just tune out, mute them or block them or whatever. That's fine. You don't have to listen to it. Just like if you don't like what we say, you don't have to listen to it. You'll have a much better experience on social media.

I mean, number one, if you just get rid of it all together. But number two, by, you know, curating your profile and your timeline to contents you actually want to see. That is totally normal. But I'm not going to force you to do that. Like, I'm not going to call for everybody to boot those people that are talking crap off Twitter. I just, I block it out mentally and I'm fine. I don't care what they say. And I don't, they don't have the platform they think they do to take us down.

It's 100 random accounts and a lot of bots. Likely. It's not that big of a deal. Phil Scarper, did you hear that, John say not to vote? Don't you dare. Buck Wayne, how do I get the last 15 minutes back? Don't know. Oh, we got a couple of rants here.

Cindy Waters, one of the most blatant examples of hypocrisy and virtue signaling I've seen from a supposedly conservative base group I've seen just because I like their arguments doesn't take the hypocrisy away. Are you talking about us or who are you talking about? I don't know what that means. Because if you are talking about us, and I thought I was going to be done with this, but when you get a rant, you have to read it.

If you are talking about us, I don't know why this would be virtue signaling when we haven't changed our stance on this. Like, I haven't changed my stance on censorship or booting people off the platform. I'm always going to allow people to say what they want to say.

That stance hasn't changed at all. So am I supposed to change that now? Or our stance on elections? I haven't changed that at all. Nobody on Badlands has. We're supposed to change that now. Our stance on Trump, we've all been, with the exception, they're probably shipwrecked, very pro-Trump and think there's something bigger around behind the scenes.

That hasn't changed, even though they're trying to accuse us of it changing. The people who have changed their thoughts are the people who previously said elections are fake and voting doesn't mean anything. That's not us. That's them. They no longer say that. They're the ones virtue signaling. So I hope you're talking about them, not us.

It's being really weird. Let's start actually going through some of the things that are going on in the news cycle. A golden silver up a little bit from yesterday, 4305 for gold. 6506 for silver. Bitcoin is that 83677 down a little bit from yesterday. It's kind of fluctuating. It was up over 85 early this morning. Gas prices up again, a couple cents to $4.49.

And then we do have some good news on the election integrity front, I suppose. Supreme Court has allowed expanded voter citizenship checks to continue while appeal proceeds. Supreme Court on Friday granted the federal government's request to keep a modified voter verification program in place while lower courts continue to review a challenge to it. The program known as Save System, systematic alien verification for entitlements, has long allowed state and local agencies to check the citizenship and immigration status of people applying for public benefits. In 2025, President Trump's March executive order directed the Department of Homeland Security to put systems in place so election officials could use it to verify the citizenship of registered voters and people registering to vote. Changes allow officials to run bulk searches and cross-check records from the Social Security Administration,

including Social Security numbers. Several organizations, including the League of Women Voters and the Electronic Privacy Information Center had sued. They argued the expanded program violated confidentiality rules in the Social Security Act. District Court and D.C. agreed with them. Obviously, they can always find a judge to agree with their initial argument. D.C. Court declined to pause the order.

Supreme Court, in their unsigned opinion, stayed the court order concluding that the government had made the required showing that it is likely to succeed on its appeal. So we'll see. This is good stuff. Like any even minor step change in the election stuff is a good thing. Like I'm never going to discount that. It's always a good thing to fix one of the many ways,

one of the death by a thousand cut ways that they steal elections. Obviously, there's a long road to go still. There's plenty of other things that we need to fix. But this is a good one that's staying in there. So good stuff. Trump and G. Hale truly great friend trip. These guys are just bros now.

It's quite the bromance. Outline agenda on trade, security and super intelligence. President Trump and the Chinese President Xi Jinping publicly highlighted their personal friendship and outline talks on trade, security, and superintelligence as Xi made his first visit to the White House in more than a decade. I think the last time it was with Obama in office, right? I'm pretty sure. But Trump said from the time of my first election in 2016, President Gee and I have forged a friendship, a truly great friendship, actually built on mutual respect and the vital interests of our people.

Pointing to progress on trade since his may visit to Beijing and said the two sides would discuss pressing issues concerning security technology and super intelligence. State visits are normal and necessary part of diplomacy. Yeah, so what's the point of this article? Like you said the thing at the beginning. National leaders should from time to time sit with one another in person and have candid conversations. Summit meetings between the American president and his counterparts from Moscow and Beijing are particularly tricky because of the innately tense relationship between two adversaries. Food and hospitality are part of the festivities, but in the end, such summits provide important human contact at the highest level, and as a result, crucial business can get done that might not be possible over a telephone or in messages delivered through ambassadors.

At least that's how they're supposed to work. But with Donald Trump, summits are hazardous excursions during which the interests of the United States are shoved aside by a president whose cringe-inducing admiration of dictators makes these meetings into rituals of American humiliation. country would be better off if Trump just stopped hosting or attending them. They're basically saying that what they would rather have is Trump be just straight up confrontational from these other world leaders for to what end? Like what would the purpose of that serve? I mean, right now it's just so that they can use this as a talking point against Trump. But I think it's important for not only the rest of the world to respect President Trump,

but you got to at least show some respect if you want to get it in return. I think that's something I learned when I was like three years old. You're not going to get respect if you don't give it. So obviously he's going to treat them with respect at these things. They're just trying so hard to paint him as a dictator. But they've been doing that for like 10 years and it's never worked. So it's not going to work now. I thought this was interesting.

Appeals court backs Department of Wars Anthropic blacklisting in the blow to Dario. So in the background of all this AI doom and gloom. and everything going on and the fear-mongering about killing everybody. There's been that story that's been there that the Department of War and Anthropic are going to kind of cut ties. Trump administration scored a legal victory Friday morning after a federal appeals court rejected Anthropics challenge to its designation as a national security supply chain risk. This means the Department of War can blacklist the AI frontier firm from all contracts. In a two-to-one decision today, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit found sufficient grounds for the DOW to designate Anthropics products a supply chain risk. The court pointed to restrictions embedded in Clod that prevented from performing certain critical tasks.

The Department had ample support for its conclusion that the continued integration of Claude into the Department's information systems by the department or its contractors presented a statutorily covered national security risk. as Anthropic admits the company encodes restrictions into cloud that prevent the model from performing tasks that anthropic wishes to prevent. That's my real concern with AI. Not that it's going to kill everybody, but it's that they want all this government restrictions and whatever they want to this cartel. And we're going to just have a few huge companies owning and running the AIs and they're going to embed little restrictions that prevent us from doing things that as sovereign individuals we should be allowed to do. And that's what they're trying to, that's what, that's what their goal is here. It's probably a little bit of election interference. Maybe it's a little bit financial with the whole they don't have,

they're not making the money that they claim they are. But, but this here is the one that probably concerns me the most. As with anything, we want, we want sovereignty, right? We don't want half measures. We don't want the illusion of sovereignty. The Senate did narrowly defeat the Iran war powers resolution. I think it was, was passed by the House? The Senate narrowly defeated a war powers resolution on Thursday that would have directed President Trump to end the war with Iran. The vote doesn't negate the Iran war powers resolution that was passed by both the Senate and the House.

It failed a 49 to 50 vote with four Republicans, if you want to call them that. They're just all uniparty. Rand Paul, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and Tom Tillis supporting the measure. At the first time, Tillis, who is not running for reelection, voted to end the war. Just one Democrat, John Federman, based, voted against the bill, something he's saying. consistently done, and Senator Angela also Brooks was not present for the vote. She also did not vote in favor. Actually, here, let me rephrase that.

If also Brooks also did vote in favor of the resolution, Vice President J.D. Vance could have cast a tie-breaking vote to kill the bill as he did with the Venezuela War Powers resolution earlier this year. It did pass the House for seven Republicans voted in favor. These people are working against Trump and the Trump agenda. So stupid. And that might be all my stories. I think about the tabs.

I think regardless of the outcome of the midterms, I think the most important thing we can be doing is building out our own communities and working on things at the local level. I think there's tremendous value in that and tremendous value in doing that with people who may not share every opinion that we share.

Obviously, not everybody's going to like the G money stuff. Everybody has a different thing, but you know the people in your life better than anybody else, but certainly better than I do. And so if there's a certain host that you think like, hey, this person will resonate with, send them a clip or a link to whatever platform they're on or would use

of a show that you think would resonate. And then also, if you can, go to an interesting part and timestamp it. Make it super easy. And I know people who have had success doing that. That's how I do it. Do not. Please don't send them to G first. Just kidding.
