Oh, hi, buddies.
Welcome to the show.
It is Barnburner.
Happy Thanksgiving, guys.
Oh,
happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving, Jackie Bear.
Jack, happy Thanksgiving, bud.
Happy Thanksgiving, boys.
Good to be celebrating with you.
What do we look at it?
How do we look at all right?
We got our shirts on.
Is that a spatula or a turkey legrets holding on to there?
Like fake microphone.
It's a good.
You had me, fooled.
Hey?
Very nice.
How are you going?
Welcome to the American Thanksgiving edition of Barnburner.
It's a presentation of Bet365.
Oh, Bet365, Big Day for Bet365.
Big day for Bet365.
Game props, player props, totals in the money line.
Whatever your bet is, it's never ordinary at Bet365.
Get the app.
Get in the game.
You must be 19 or older.
And yes, we are outside of the studios, but we have still got the old super chat.
But I don't know.
Do we have to turn out?
Try it now.
Do you want to try it?
Wow, artists.
That's the horns.
We got the horns.
If you're able to take the horns, you've got to take the horns.
It was like when they built the new rink in Chicago, you had to bring the organ from the stadium.
That's right.
The United Center.
The horns are that good.
Super chat today, as we go live from the Warner House, we are still going to be giving away money to charity.
It's dependent on you, you people out there.
You got stuff to say.
You have opinions you need to be heard.
The money goes to the U. Centers of Calgary, and we'll put your comment on the show a little bit later on.
What a setup here.
The McLeod Law LLP Studios have done a fine job here.
They put us up in a great spot.
Look at this.
What I do like is we have the red in the kitchen.
Kitchen cam.
In the distance, yeah.
But we do have the kitchen cam, which we can go to.
Let's go full screen on the kitchen cam.
There's the kitchen.
Look how clean it is.
The shoveler was very worried.
very, very worried.
I think it looks great.
How's her hangover today?
They get at it yesterday.
Oh, they're just crushed.
Oh, yeah.
The Wednesday before Thanksgiving in the States is an absolute jag fest.
Just pedal to the middle.
Yeah.
Right.
The first time I saw it.
Yeah.
Was in Philadelphia, there was a girl who was, you know, attractive young lady,
probably in, you know, late teens, early 20s, dressed to the nines.
Ready to go.
Laying on the street.
Full crank.
Fully just full crank out of her.
Sequin dress, heels, just,
the hair in the,
like the dance in the gutter.
It's frigging November, fellows.
Yeah.
Hair and the,
it's gross.
Yeah, hopefully the shover made it home.
It was Lake Effects.
The other day yesterday.
Look out.
It made a movie.
Yeah, well, boys,
I'm not sure what we're looking to accomplish.
today. I think we know exactly what we're here.
I'm 100% dialed in on what we're trying to accomplish.
Okay. So aside from the four of us, who stands to benefit by what we're doing today?
I have one kid at home that will benefit somewhat. Okay. Yeah, he'll be back from hockey practice,
bringing some Lugans, and they're going to absolutely just evaporate piles of food.
Yeah. My wife who never contacts me sent a weird text just out of the blue. She says, I understood.
I've, I heard. Someone.
told me that Bontan has the best chocolate cheesecake in town.
Have you heard that?
Just throwing it out there.
Like so, well, it's kind of random, but maybe we could find out.
She's no dummy.
No, she's not.
And she's kind of just down the street, too.
It all kind of makes sense.
But we are doing our Thanksgiving show, the American Thanksgiving.
It was always one of those, every year would come up.
And we'd be sitting in that studio downtown, or wherever the hell we were.
Look at everybody.
having turkey today and they're sitting at home and it's warm and they've got the fire on and they're
watching football and they're getting it was so damn early we didn't get to watch the football while
we were doing the show no no we'd go home and we'd be tired and not anymore that's the main reason
i think we did the whole thing it's just for today left radio did that all that stuff behind
probably not a shrewd decision but hey no terrible call at the time and even still but nonetheless
today's pretty good pretty good right now so after this show we're going to do barn burner as per
usual, more or less a low plate start, sorry.
Hey, we're setting up in the kitchen.
We got a kitchen show today.
Once this show is done, we're going to fire everything back on.
And it's going to be the Bon Tonne Meets American Thanksgiving hijack.
The Yankee Turkey high stream.
Yeah, that's right.
And to celebrate, Greg Keller, Bon Tonne Meets, best guy in the world,
always sets us up great with everything.
Retro, what did Greg send for the?
the boys today.
Oh, we've got a stuffed turkey breast that's a little rope in here.
I don't even know what he stuffed it with because it's not stuffing.
Okay.
It's a stuffed turkey breast.
So it doesn't have any of the bones or any of that BS.
We just get to carve that stuff.
Nice.
Rett's looking pretty comfy in the kitchen there, right?
I did grab a rack of ribs, just a case.
Just a case.
Yeah.
Emergency ribs.
Yeah.
Right.
Beef matters.
Four guys.
The turkey may not last.
Eight kilograms of food.
Yeah.
It may not last.
Well, I stopped over at the grocery store.
We got some chips and dip and some goodies just in, you know, case we.
What's our bun update?
Don't disappoint.
I feel like there's a lot of work to be ahead over here.
I see there's a little setup to my left.
And I don't know where the rising stick in place.
Well, hang on.
15 minutes of oven time, he said.
I'll set my mic down and.
I don't know where the rising.
I thought there would be dough.
I think you forgot it.
A car.
There's the old gobbler.
That's a good shirt.
Your phone's muted there, boomcat.
Well, yeah, I don't know if you're going to get feedback.
All right.
Get on Rett's mic over there.
Got some pies.
Hey, fellas.
I saw that, little sweets.
I bought a Saskatoonberry.
But that takes some.
bacon.
Got some whipped cream.
We're going to do real whipped cream.
That's the brow.
Oh, yeah.
Some chips.
If you had the Mexican chili, Jack.
Oh, I like the Mexican chili.
Those are hell of good.
And for our buddy rat,
this is number one.
The old brat.
Oh,
Oh, great.
Have you hunt these?
These, uh,
you know,
no.
Did they get you?
Uh,
I brought the soft soy.
You have a mixer?
Look at this.
Brum a sheet ham.
Part of paper.
Butter.
Retro's got melt.
And the, we need the scale.
We need the kitchen scale.
I've got all those things.
I figured you would.
Yeah, I figured you would.
Jack's down to 200.
Hey, Rick, can you pass boom the microphone?
Taters.
Taters are going?
There we're.
Taters.
You're going to smash them, sons of bitches?
Sons a bitch is going to get it.
A little bit gravy on the go there.
Well, I had to pre-make it because we don't have any bones.
And here we go.
Oh,
wow.
Oh, doggy.
That's a...
The people that chow want to see the lake.
Now they'll know where I live, though.
Well, there's so many lakes.
I could open the screen, but it's real cold,
and they get all twisted up out there.
We can do the polar bear challenge.
Beautiful.
Should be crisp.
Are we getting through the ice today?
Oh, yeah.
Not doing that.
I think you do.
Anyway.
It's cold up there, eh?
Chris.
Nice.
I like it, though.
It's hot in here.
I'm sweating.
I thought about inviting people, but...
No.
I liked them.
No.
Yeah, pretty good.
Early for a tree, maybe, for some people, but the hell are you going to do?
Let's talk sports.
I can't wait for talk sports.
Yeah, we need some sports.
So excited.
Talk sports.
to get into this.
Just talk some sports,
hey guys?
That's what guys do.
Guys get together, watch some football,
talk some sports.
Here's the thing.
I did Afterburner last night.
So we don't even need to mention the Flames game.
It's been done.
You want some Flames content?
Just, you know, click over to the old after.
Okay.
Nice.
The takeaways were Craig Conroy
got an extension.
And that was somewhere between the first and second period.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was not the best night to evaluate players.
Four rip before they had their second shot of the game.
I felt like the Oilers might fandum might come at us a little bit after,
or Estok and the goalie tandem up there.
Well, unlike the Oilers,
the flames just kind of turned the tap off after the fourth one went in.
I guess the fifth going in, but it was goalie interference.
They didn't let eight or nine go in.
Right.
And they are, you know, rebuilding not, well,
trying to win a cop.
There's that too.
Yeah.
Rebiggle.
Rebiggle, I suppose.
Not to rebuild.
I can't say that.
And that's that, if you tell me they're rebuilding, I'll believe you.
They look like a team that could use a rebuild.
Yeah.
Be fair.
You know, they've parted ways with some very good players and turned them into future assets.
That's a rebuilding activity.
It's what my hot take was going to be yesterday.
That they already have been rebuilding?
No.
I was going to say that the more I thought about it.
Craig Conroy, remember when the GM job came open and Bradshaw Living left.
Who's been the AGM for nine years?
Usually you have a succession plan of some sort.
But they made him jump through hoops and second interviews, bring in other people and all that bullshit.
And I said if he doesn't get this job, he has to leave.
He can't stay.
And just the more I thought of it is, you're in the final season.
he's it's his first
you can't do any
you can't be evaluated on your work
as a GM in two and a half years
what's what's
like I was going to say if it hits
like December 1st January 1st there's no extension
if I'm Conroy I just say you know what
I'm done at the end of the year
that was because I just
there's two things at work
and we'll get to we'll get to what we're doing
but number one there's
just it just makes
the hockey sense to have a general manager,
you give them a certain amount of time to build,
if you hired them,
you have faith in them,
let them do their job.
Right.
So, of course,
you're going to extend him.
And then number two,
it's just the way you treat people.
And it just stunk the first time
that they did it that way,
and it felt like they were doing it all over again.
I don't know,
I just don't know why.
It's like,
well,
you best be on your best behavior,
Craig Conroy, you want that extension.
It's like, anyway.
So now that's a moot point.
Yeah, it is moot.
I was not concerned about him knocking any extension.
It's not moot, though, because they still drug him out through it a little bit.
Like, so going into the year, you weren't sure if he was your guy?
Yeah, we got our guest.
We got a guest.
Oh, yeah.
I got some teeth.
Well, it's football day, so I figured why don't we bring in, uh, he's a Canadian, but he's American,
He played the NFL, but he played the CFO.
Chargers, bills, stamps, riders.
Arshan Lynch loves this guy, an entire province.
The hell doesn't, yes.
Is he the Premier yet?
How does that work?
You don't want that job.
This is better than all of it.
Yeah, that's true.
Everyone loves this guy.
You got to go to those fru-fru meetings and harumph, harumph and sit around.
This guy gets to wear green hoodies and drink free beer for the rest of his life.
He'll never pay for a beer again.
It's incredible.
The head.
Head coach of the Grey Cup champion, Saskatchewan Roughwriters,
Corey Mace.
Macer, how are we doing, bud?
Yeah, I got to tell you, I'm sick.
Oh, well, yeah.
Sick of women?
When you go on a three-week bender, it'll take a lot out of a guy.
I stopped drinking.
I stopped boozing about two days ago.
My body is.
You just got to get back on it.
It's a good shift.
I got some in the office, actually.
You're not in the office.
I am at the office.
Oh, you coaches are the worst.
Just set in bad examples for all of us.
It's Thanksgiving, Macer.
Get the, go home.
I was just talking to Mueller here.
They celebrate.
Well, he's kind of fat, so he celebrates both Thanksgiving.
So they're doing KFC tonight and calling it a Thanksgiving celebration.
So I might join.
As you should.
As a guy should.
Well, was it everything?
It's kind of one of those goofy things, but I just, as you're getting down to the final buzzer,
It's like, we did it.
There's got to be some relief.
There's excitement.
What do you remember about those last few moments?
Because, you know, you're kind of, as a player, you can lose your mind.
But as a coach, you kind of play in a cool, even though you're frigging bursted inside.
But walk us through as the final few seconds tick off the clock.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, in that situation, you know, as a coach, you're just, you're always freaking dialed for any potential situation, especially them, right?
They were down eight.
They're going hell, hell, Mary.
So you're like, oh, my God, is this going to be like one of the football gods trying to screw you?
You know, and then you're like, okay, can we do this penalty free, you know,
or else they're going to spot the ball in the one yard line?
And, you know, so you're just waiting for everything.
But, you know, once, you know, you see players throwing their helmets in the air, there's no flags.
You know, you just, you're happy.
And then, yeah, man, that Gatorade shower came and it was the best shower of had in my life.
that one shot that is taking kind of upwards at you with the orange coming over to i mean if
that's got to be above the mantle that's got to i don't know how big you can get that thing blown
up but that is uh that is amazing did you i mean what everyone has though we're very confident
what were you thinking about the alouettes as you went in because obviously the quarterback in the
other side he hasn't lost as a starter but he's got a hamstring but he's dangerous and funny things
happened and you've been part of it either as a coach or a player you so funny shit goes down in
gray cups as we know over the years even we've seen the riders it's happened what was your day of
game what's what's your confidence level what was your read on your on your guys as you got down to
kickoff yeah man i you know a lot of us kind of just spoke about it this last week um it was eerie
i think we just we just understood you know we obviously respect the opponent hell they're in a great
Cup and a good team. They're playing at a high clip going in. Dangerous quarterback. Guys never lost
the game. Really good players. But everybody was, I had a great sleep the night before. Usually,
you know, my mind's running like crazy. The guys are saying the same thing. Like,
they just, we just kind of, I think, had an idea of this was meant to happen. Like, we're about
to go do what we got to do for ourselves. So I think we're just focused on ourselves rather than the
opponent too too much.
But, you know, obviously still respect the hell of them and what, what Jason does with that
team.
But I just didn't think on that day we were going to be denied what we worked for.
And that's why I asked because I kind of felt, I think we all kind of felt this was your
game to lose.
And it's not arrogance.
But I wonder from your seat, because you feel, I feel good about where we are.
I think our prep is good.
We look good.
Gosh, should I be more worried?
Should we are, we're not taking them like missing?
We're not taking them lightly, are we?
Like, I wonder how often you kind of reset and kind of try and dial, you know, take it back to zero and start over again?
No, I think we're good.
How many times you walk through that preparation?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, I think, you know, throughout every week, honestly, you know, you always get nervous and butterflies and stuff like that.
And I think that's all encompassing of all those questions.
But, you know, I just, I didn't think we need to be done.
We had a great week of practice.
The guys seemed loose the day before.
You know, our night meeting before was excellent.
The guys are just dialed and ready to play, man.
You know, we know what it can happen on any game day and you settle in within the moment.
You know, when can't get too high, can't get too low.
You know, we had a good lead early.
They forced their way back into the game.
You just got to spot the ball the next play and get your job done, man.
And that was awesome because all those things that show up in a championship game, you know,
we breed those kind of moments and how we operate on the daily.
So it doesn't change.
What are we doing talking about this game?
You're in a province that idolizes this sport, this league, this team.
What are the last week and a half been like?
And what's the weirdest time someone asked you to crack a beer, weirdest place?
Yeah, there's no such thing as a weird time for me to crack a beer.
No, man, it was elation.
I think a lot of the guys, too, whether they've won somewhere else in this league
or, you know, I've seen different things from different teams.
There is nothing like winning in Saskatchewan.
The parade was mental.
Man, what a time.
What a freaking time.
Even went up to Saskatoon with the Cup a couple days after.
And, you know, that's three hours away from Regina.
And it didn't matter.
You'd feel like you were just here, man.
It was awesome.
So now I just, I can't wait.
Guys have been going hard in the paint as they should.
We got a rodeo tonight.
We're going to attend.
I'm getting a party bus and I'm hitting small town, Saskatchewan bars, man.
And we're going to celebrate this thing with the profits 40 years up.
Yes, people might recognize you, huh?
Yeah.
Tell me you haven't pulled your wallet up for 10 days.
Do those people proud and tell us that.
Yeah, man.
They've been very kind to us.
Very kind.
You know, retro, obviously, being from Saskatchew,
I just, you know, from being in Manitoba, but right on the border, I just, there was that long
drought from, you know, when the, when the riders had won until, and it was, you still heard
about Kent Austin and Dave Ridgeway and all those guys, they were legends.
Does it kind of strike you that you're, you're one of those guys now?
This, this win will be somebody's, that, that's the best win.
That was our favorite win.
That was people that, it's been a little bit, a little while, there'll be some teenagers,
that this, this is the one that they're going to.
going to carry with them for the rest of their lives that you were one of the driving forces behind
that. Yeah, it's cool. I don't know if it's completely, you know, sunk into that level, man.
But it's cool. I know what it means to this province, no doubt. But I think, and, you know,
maybe Retro can, he can stop me if I'm wrong. But personally, the way I view it is those,
those winds are so special because there's so few far in between, right? What we're trying to do here is
is make it a constant.
So hopefully this is just a,
just step one of things that come for,
for us moving forward.
Yeah. It is weird.
Like, it's an organization that's had a lot of success,
but the great cups have been real tough.
I think you had a 200 and something winning percentage in those championship games.
Not that you were around for any of them,
but there had to be some nervous Nellies around there.
And when you've been around for 100 years and you've got four,
that just doesn't feel right.
It's, it's not one drought.
It's like four massive trucks that I feel like they've had, isn't it?
Yeah.
And truth of that was like such a huge lure of coming here, man.
It's, you know, I didn't even sit right with me when I really, you know,
peeled it back and I look.
I'm like, there's no way.
Like everybody around the league understands, like, how crazy the fan base is.
And, you know, shit, look at, you know, you go somewhere else in the league and, you know,
big cities, you know, if the team loses, hell, even if they win, nobody gives a damn.
So, you know, you look at the history, it's like, okay, this team's fan base is incredible.
Like, let me take a peek.
How many championships?
And I was like, four.
Nah, this shit don't make sense, man.
They deserve more.
So, yeah, very vocal about that when we came.
And it was just, it was cool to see it wasn't lip service.
The guys all, they understood the assignment.
And yeah, man, we got to check off a goal for the 2025 season.
And now, am I right in my chronologics?
You have another year on your contract and you were extended ahead of the final year.
Is that right?
Yeah, that's correct.
You know, and not to necessarily tie it in, but we were talking here at Craig Conroy's in this last year and he just didn't have a contract extension yet.
I mean, you hadn't won yet.
Things were good, but, you know, riders, maybe they're going to be a good football team.
They could have waited until this offseason to see whether you win or whether you don't.
There's something about being treated the right way that I know you talk about family and all of that.
That's a very family kind of a thing to do to extend you and some of the others there before it's,
before it's you're a lame duck, so to speak.
No doubt.
And it was, it did, it came kind of as a shock, but I tell you, the conversation wasn't very long.
Yeah.
You know, my family and I, we love it here, man.
Love the staff.
Love the team.
And then working day and the day out with, you know, my bosses, our general manager,
Jeremy O'Day and our team president, Craig Reynolds, like, man, we all see it the same.
And what a place, man.
Like, I truly enjoy working with most people.
I mean, like I said, I keep bringing up Mueller.
He's the only prick, but everybody's awesome.
Yeah. Who are you most happy for?
I remember kind of talking to Rhett, and it was after the one loss,
you know, you feel bad that you couldn't get a win for certain people.
Who are you happy that you were able to get it across the line for?
There's so many, man.
Like, if you guys could understand, I mean, you probably would.
Like, this is not your run-of-the-mill CFL team.
Like, we've got hundreds of people who work here,
some of which we've been here for 10 plus years and has never won a championship,
and they worked their asses off,
which is why I think Ryder Pride is such a big thing because people put so much into it.
So there's so many people, man, the fan base, obviously,
but just off the top of my head, you know,
I hated that people tried to, you know,
use the narrative that Trevor Harris wasn't a great quarterback
because he had never won as a starter.
So I said, okay, well, let's cross that bullshit off the list.
So I was really happy that, you know, he was able to do it.
it and the way that he did it, you know, with the highest completion percentage in Great Cup history,
MVP, that should be a Hall of Fame ticket. All the locals, the Sasky boys, man, like to be
able to grow up, love this team, and then to be able to wear the logo, like, that means so much
of them already, but to walk away with a cup, you shit and me, like, that's huge, man. So that was
incredible and then you know man i could really say i could go on a tangent man so many people brother
but those guys off the top of my head no no doubt when do they get that statue the mace statue up
like do you take a day and you got to stand still while they they scan you or take pictures or sketch
i'm building it in the backyard here mace sir we're going to come with i'll get to say it all i got
to do is if i walk outside it's about minus 15 right now so if i'm turning to a statue walking through
the truck when are you back to work i mean
You're already in the office. It's probably, you know, not when, but when did. And I'd seen somewhere
that you'd have 45 free agents. I mean, boys don't want to stay, but you guys got some work to do for
next. Exactly. Exactly. Right. Yeah, exactly. So, yeah, it didn't. It was pretty dang quick,
you know, J.O. and I and some of the staff we got into the office and started putting together
just a plan of attack for, you know, keeping as many of our guys as possible, man. Like,
we're all about that. But we understand.
the nature of the business. But, you know, that, looking at 26 already, calendars and stuff,
just putting the calendar together to have a solid plan of attack for a great offseason.
And it doesn't stop, man, but honestly, boy, do I love it. You know, I love this stuff.
So, but it's cool. I'd make sure I'd take mornings and, you know, eat breakfast with the kids and stuff.
Yeah, breathe it in, Macer. Breathe it in. Don't just. I try. I try. There's always enough time for a pill or two.
Yeah. No, I was going to say
because you wouldn't have to look far.
Like you say, to find people that this,
a Grey Cup win for that team
means so much to those people.
And then there's kind of the moment,
okay, well, there's Trevor Harris, and there's some people.
And then there's the wife and the kids.
And when the kids are old enough to kind of get the magnitude
and understand what's going on,
that has to be amazing.
When do you lay eyes on the kids and your wife?
because it's commotion crazy down on the sidelines after you win.
How soon until you see those guys and walk me through that minute?
Yeah, yeah.
So it was, it was, you know, celebration with all the guys.
And I think I was about to do TSN, and I just heard my wife screaming behind me.
So, you know, I said, oh, timeout, we ain't starting yet, you know.
Just I think in any sport at a professional level,
college or whatever. There's just, there's so much time that goes into it, you know, as coaches
and players and everybody alike, that, you know, you miss moments, you know, with your family.
But for us, man, I got, my wife has been unbelievable through the whole process of my coaching
career, my kids, you know, they, they were so pissed because they, you know, I didn't bring the
great couple. They want, they think it's supposed to be at the house every day.
I thought you won the trophy.
We won the trophy, man.
Just be patient.
So we had it over the other day.
The kids ate cereal out of it, took a bunch of pictures, took it to their schools, man.
What was that like?
Tell us about the schools.
That would have been unreal.
They would have been so proud of Dad.
Yeah, man, it was great.
So in typical, you know, Saskatchewan nature, I called the principal the day before, like right before schooling.
I say, hey, look, I got the cup.
I'd love to come by and bring it for the kids.
And she said, hey, no problem.
And then I guess like 10 minutes before school ended, they made an announcement,
a tomorrow's green and white day.
We showed up the whole, like I'd say, no word of a lie,
96% of the kids had riders gear.
When does the police escort show up to your house to take it?
No, kidding, man.
And I asked my son, you know, my son's three, so he took it to his daycare after.
But I said, what was the best part of day?
He said, Dad, I like going to the school.
everybody was cheering for me.
I said, Jesus, kid.
I hope you're a professional athlete.
He ain't getting that nowhere.
That's great.
Duplicate that.
Well, how's the little banger doing?
I think we heard about him skating last time we checked in.
Yeah.
Well, genetics are not on his side when it comes to that sport, you know.
I can't skate backwards, but I can only stop one way.
But shit, I'm out there on the ice with him.
He's in 3, 4, 5.
10 bits plays for sabers.
Let's go.
All right.
Yeah, yeah. But he's, he's amped up. But he's, I love his heart, man. His first day,
he said, Dad, I'm scoring six goals. Like, yeah, just wait, you've never skated in your life.
This is going to be great. Oh, man. Yeah, so we're not quite, we're not quite ready, man,
but to have him out there at that age, getting teamwork, some of his buddies in the neighborhood
are on the same team. It's cool to see, man. It's awesome to see. I'm excited. I'm excited to,
you know, hopefully get to be a hockey deck because they're, there's season.
I can actually watch the games because it's in our offseason, right?
So what a cool time.
But he's definitely going to be a kind of a bufflin type if I had to guess.
Yeah.
He did very well.
He's a good player.
Everyone needs a buffalo.
Well, I don't know if people have made the shirt or if it's one of the –
but my favorite quote was afterwards, and I'll let you finish it.
You were asked the question on the field.
Well, we play hard.
We love hard.
and we fucking win hard, baby.
Yeah, I love it, dude.
I mean, Pinner and I were conflicted, right?
Like, we're out here.
Man, like, I cheer for the riders.
Look at the side of the family's rider fans.
I grew up in Calgary.
You look so good in red.
And then the moment you left town, I'm like,
this might come back and be awkward at some point.
And the first time I've ever cheered for the green was a couple Sundays ago.
That's like, the R goes, okay, well, whatever.
So happy for Mason.
Jesus.
Riders. Never rooted for the green before, Mace.
That was awesome. Well, get to it, man.
It's the only way to go.
Congratulations, dude. We were pumped for you.
You know where the Great Cup is next year, Mace, which is?
I think somewhere in Alberta, I think.
Yeah, I think somewhere nearby here, yeah.
Hopefully we'll run into you.
I'll have to be out of town.
I'll go to one of those games we play.
It'll be green there, too.
You'll run right in, buddy.
Congrats, pal.
We love.
Appreciate you, boys.
You bet you.
Much love.
Be good.
All right.
There you go.
head coach of the
Grey Cup champion,
Saskatchewan Rough Riders,
Torrey.
I have goosebumps talking to Macer.
You know,
it's sometimes things just fit,
you know,
square pegs,
square holes like that,
yeah,
when he talks about,
oh,
you're going to play and drink some beer
and you family
and we love hard.
That's not a show.
That's him.
And he is not from there,
but he is from there.
That's who he is.
Yeah.
Because you see it sometimes.
Coaches,
that guy doesn't seem
that's not the right guy
for that brand or that team
it's like when you see talk
and go back to Philly
or something like
yeah,
Corey Mace is that kind of guy
which is not to say
maybe Craig Dickinson
or somebody else didn't fit
in Saskatchewan
but
that sees who they are
yeah
hard working
enjoys a beer
and out to win
yeah
growing a little beer
a couple bills
here and there
a couple of pills
we need an update for the kitchen here
how we do
by the way
Thanks, Crystal Water.
Yeah, Crystal Waters, plumbing and meeting home comfort, even,
with the, we'll call it the guest hotline today.
It doesn't get much more inside than that.
Your crystal clear choice for home comfort.
I'll tell you what, my...
I didn't need to get too deep into it,
but the garage is unbelievably.
Life change.
It's tremendous.
And when they came in, we're going to do the garage,
but we'll kind of run through your stuff.
It's like, well, yeah, the water softener's not working.
Right.
And the furnace.
It's like, oh, I don't know how long.
long it has been since my
something about a cycle. It's cycling
too often, so it's not running long enough.
So you get them in, I don't know.
Yeah, so it's, the house feels good. Everything seems
to be working the way it should. So thank you to
Crystal Waters for doing that. And another
one of those things you may not think about until it's too late.
Get them in there. Let them take care
you. Crystal Waters, the best in the business.
I like these shirts right got us.
I love it.
Best friends. Gobble, till you wobble.
I got like the
Yeti Thanksgiving Pilgrim?
In hindsight, it looks like that's what I should be wearing with the scowl and the grimace on it.
I've just felt it was Pinder had the facial stuff.
Yeah, I'm the hairy one.
Let's be fair.
And I ordered four, but three showed up.
Sorry, Jack.
You can have this one.
Right here.
This guy.
He's got my own.
That's probably.
That does have your facial, but.
Yeah, we kind of.
Hmm.
Turn.
Very nice, though.
Not bad, I'm very nice.
If we've got a kitchen update, you need to get me to come see you?
I'm thinking that this is pretty much done.
They're going to start smashing potatoes.
Okay.
Gravy on.
Go to the kitchen.
Boom, I'll mute us and you turn your phone mic on so you can hear what's going on over there.
It's a simple when you're prepared, right?
It really is.
That's the thing with,
turkey.
Oh, such a big...
Well, you put the thing in the oven,
then you come back in a few hours.
They're a little audio vault.
Let's throw some of that in the mash.
Jackie, boys.
Get in on that.
You haven't had that, haven't it?
Ask him to try to pronounce it.
No, no, please.
Don't do that.
What do we want to do?
We're ready.
So these...
Gravy.
We've got stuffing in this one.
Oh, wow, double.
Bird?
Oh, boy.
Bird.
Get a ticket.
Do you need some help?
We could let Pinder do a Pender report,
and we can, you need to need me to smash them taters?
Whatever you need me to do.
I'll put the mic there and get to work.
All right.
Well, I'll go check in over here.
That's the update.
Looks good over there.
Look at the little red charcuttery there.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, look how he's going to get them.
No, no, no hands.
No hands.
Oh, that's a boy, Jack.
That's a boy.
Well, okay, do we want to talk more about, because you said, just thoughts on the Conroy thing.
Because my concern level was low that this wasn't getting done.
And I think when you're in a hot market, it becomes a topic or in others it's not even uttered.
Like, has anyone said a word about Pat Verbeek not having a deal?
No.
So it's a function of the market.
The Don Maloney stuff, I think maybe added unnecessary fuel to the fires.
Like, whoa, maybe there's a division here.
but it always felt like he's been the guy they were grooming to your point.
I don't mind them going and getting free audits when they're looking at an open GM slot.
Have other people look.
What's good?
Where are we behind?
But he's been their guy.
He continues to be their guy.
It was going to get done.
It's done.
Do you think the timing has anything to do with the flak that they've taken in the meet help?
I mean,
interestingly, Francis noted that the intermission.
He thinks this has been done for weeks and they were just waiting for the right time.
I guess I understand that a little bit.
Kind of.
And, you know, maybe there's still little stuff to work on.
But you know what it is to me again?
It's not understanding your customer base.
If the thought was, well, we've lost some games in a row we're losing.
We can't announce a GM extension now.
Then you don't understand what your fans are thinking.
No one was going to be what we've lost three in a row.
You're extending the GM.
Well, I think the Maloney comments really put it in the spotlight
because it felt like,
what Craig has been doing and what Don was talking about were two different things.
Like Don's saying we're getting back into this thing.
And Craig's been responsibly turning older assets as they expire into younger pieces.
So you're like, well, hang on.
If he doesn't have a deal on Don's saying this, maybe they're not on the same page.
But never mind the when do you announce it being off tune.
It was just the Maloney stuff was toned off.
That's what it was.
It's been an interesting week and a half.
I guess it's just over a week.
Yeah, a lot has been done.
It was last Wednesday.
It was last Wednesday night.
It was a week ago today that all the bleep hit the fan.
Yeah, it's true.
It was a week ago you had the boomer rant for the ages.
And I kind of agree with you.
I think that if in fact the record will have them near the bottom,
then judge,
like I said,
Judge Craig by his actions,
not by what you hear necessarily.
And he hasn't gone to free agency and added veterans.
It didn't come any stupid money.
There's been nothing like that.
And maybe some trades have worked out or haven't worked out,
Sharon Govich, hey, we all thought that was a hell of a deal
at a great signing at the time when he was scoring 30 goals.
But obviously it's...
How do you like Roshney and Ball for Marchshu now, right?
So it's in the Lindholm deal is a haul.
You got Pristevich, you got Gridden, you got assets that you've turned into
Faribian Frost.
Like, there's been some definite wins.
There's been a few where you wanted more.
And there's been some, we have to wait and see.
Like the Hanifin deal, totally depends where that Vegas pick is this year.
It's an unprotected first.
They're out of a playoff spot as of today.
Anyway, uh, so that was a playoff.
That was mixed bag and trades, love the drafts, the internal extensions.
Basically, like to your point earlier, it's like the body of work needs time to evaluate.
There's not a lot of red flags right now and there's a lot of stuff that's trending the
right way, but it would be way too soon to have some sort of final grade that like Craig has
failed here.
You're like, no, you need to let these draft classes come into the league.
Even if you aren't maybe a fan of the work that's been done, you still have to see this,
see it through. And like with Verbeek,
I don't, is he two and a half years?
Is he, you know what I mean?
That's about a similar time. Maybe a year.
I think he's,
I think he's got a little bit more under his belt.
Either way, it's like,
it's just not a market where it's going to be a topic, right?
I guess. And to me,
I'm talking about GM term.
I don't, I don't care what they talk about.
There's just ways of treating people and doing
business. And if you were in a spot
where you felt like you were going to be making
a GM change, then maybe, yeah,
we're going to evaluate, but you weren't.
So sign the guy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's been with the franchise forever.
And you gave him the reins to do the job.
Now let him do the job.
Yeah.
And so was it in a drawer for a month?
Was there finishing touches that got put on with the pressure of the, you know,
self-inflicted wound of the Maloney interviews, part one, two, and three?
Or, you know, is it like, hey, I'm trying to get a couple people signed.
And then once they're ranked, I'm all re-up.
Like, is it just the final details?
We don't know.
Yeah.
we just don't.
But he's been the guy that they've placed and entrusted with turning this roster that
was felt like a collection of odd parts into a team again.
And it's not like he's failed at that at all.
I wonder a little bit.
And it's not to pat us on the back or anything.
But I wonder what it's like behind those closed doors if they are taking a look
outside to see what, what are people saying?
What's the temperature out there?
It's like, well, there's, you know, Elliot, Frank, and these.
Dummies in Calgary and these guys.
Like everybody is,
whoa,
like did we,
did we swing and miss on this?
Because I think they swung and missed and didn't know it.
And I even got some feedback from some people that work in the building.
And it's like,
hey,
we're speaking with stakeholders in the community.
And they're like,
what the hell is this?
Like,
what we just heard on TV is not like.
And so just from a straight business level,
they got feedback.
Never mind the hockey.
Never mind the media.
It's like, if I'm committing X dollars a year to do whatever I'm doing as a partnership with the flames, like, is that actually what you're doing? And like, if that is the case, I have some questions for you to answer. It's just such a different. And it was a horrible decision to let them speak. But it's, you live in a day and age and you work now in a day and age. You're running a team where everyone knows salaries. Everyone knows aid. They can see Macklin Celebrini in San Jose. Yeah. Everyone is very smart now to how.
things happen and what's happening and how things are working.
So to come on and have a, well, here's, you know, this is how things, it's just, it'll work harder,
Dean.
Not sure we'll see it again, would be my guess.
I'm not sure that is attacked that they'll take any time soon.
Bobby Germany had dug up a quote from the Don Maloney announced his poho press conference,
which I believe was around the Daryl departure, tree departure, because there was, there
was the tree departure and then they had to do the audit on darrell and months later he was gone
and maloney said look you're not going to hear from me a lot we're going to put people in places let them
do their work and you're not going to hear me yeah um it felt like that was working until it didn't
last week hey ret what what do you think i'm curious your thoughts i know you're uh you're right oh boy
what is that see that's what we need it we got very sports sorry about that so he's putting
some of the bursan cheese into the mashed.
That's just going to be sensation.
Which, you know what it is?
It's very rich.
Oh, yeah.
A rich.
Creamy.
Yeah.
Delicious.
Yeah.
This is not a workout day, friends.
No.
This is a nap day.
Yeah.
This is some.
Tom's Thanksgiving.
That's a great shirt.
Well, all right.
What's our bun update?
Well, I'm got,
I'm just, I don't know the timeline.
I don't know how what it's like to make.
It's going to take a little bit.
Yeah.
But I got.
this thing I got to do.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So after this thing, we'll get the buns roll.
After this thing, I will get the mixer going.
We'll do it on the live stream.
Perfect.
We'll do this thing and then we'll get on with it.
How about that?
Any thoughts of temples for today?
For you?
For me, I wish it to, it was a hangout at Rets and wake up in the basement and figure out
tomorrow, tomorrow day, but there's too much going on.
Oh, is it not?
I got parent teacher interviews today.
We got a hockey practice.
I got kids getting out of school this afternoon.
No good.
No good.
Temple Golden Logger,
non-alcoholic beer
that actually tastes like a beer.
With Temple Golden Logger,
it's the refreshing beer taste
you're looking for,
whether you're abstaining,
maybe pacing yourself,
don't sacrifice on the joy
of raising a cold one with friends
and we are heading into that time of year.
Yeah, you're having a party,
you've got social gatherings,
you need something for everyone.
That's right.
You know, you're going to have wine,
you're going to have spirits,
you're going to have beers,
you're going to have some mixer.
You're also going to need some non-out beers as well.
The golden logger,
For Temple is going to be an everyday favorite, 65 calories per can.
Consume without compromise, available online or at liquor stores in Calgary, Calgary, Co-op, Amazon Prime available right now.
That's easy.
DrinkTempel.com is the website. That's DrinkTempel, T-E-M-P-L.com for all the details, where you could purchase and all the good...
I told you.
It was a hit at the hockey tournament in Drum Heller last weekend.
I was watching a... I saw somebody in studio podcast.
local podcast. They were having temples during the podcast.
Really? Well done. Absolutely. Absolutely.
I think it should be something you keep in mind.
Not keeping in mind.
Over the next six weeks or so.
We're going to another drop off from Justin.
Yeah, I'm sure that can happen. Sure it can happen.
Right.
Into the Pinda report.
All right, friends. Pindreports brought to you by Village Honda.
Their winter ready SUV event is on.
Pre-owned 4x4s and all-wheel drive SUVs.
all makes, all models, check out the selection online at villagehonda.com or get up to the Northwest
Auto Mall and see them in person.
The Calgary Flames in action last night.
T'was not pretty, Dean.
The score was 4 to 0.
The shots were 6 to 1.
Dustin Wolf did not make it out of the first period.
And the lightning essentially kicked things into cruise control well before the first intermission.
This game was not close.
As you can see on the website, more on that.
the three-game winning culture streak has come to an end,
and they now have played one of the three of the old Southeast Division
gauntlet.
It'll be Florida.
Two o'clock matinee tomorrow.
Rick, can we come back tomorrow?
All right.
That works.
Two o'clock.
What?
It's great for us.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Not for them.
Well, Rett's been preaching a four-day work week for about a decade.
Like, figure it out people.
Friday's the day you take off.
out of the weekend.
2 o'clock puck drop.
Practice today, eat,
lay around and watch football,
and then play it two in the afternoon tomorrow.
Yeah, there's that for the players.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah.
For us, it's great with it just fine.
Yeah, it's great for me.
We can work that out.
As you can see,
Panthers just two games.
Oh, Rets.
What's happening?
Sure.
All right, you do this.
That's coming in.
We got the Bunnmaster going in.
This is,
you know what?
I'm going to need your yeast and your flour.
Kill boomers, Mike, and we'll just keep rolling.
Yeah, kill it. Keep her going.
Here's the look.
Great news of the Inver standings yesterday, Jack.
You won't believe it.
The St. Louis Blues down to one, or excuse me,
National Predators down 2.1, rallied in a big way.
I think they got five in the third period.
They win 6'3, usurping the flames for 31st overall in the NHL,
which means the flames who played two more games.
Then the Predators are in the catbird seat with a 380 points percentage.
That is the McKenna slash Verhof position in the draft lottery.
You got to like that.
There's certainly some competition there.
Vancouver, they got a W last night, but have looked rough of late.
St. Louis got a loser point.
But the Nashville win drops Calgary back to 30 second overall by points percentage.
Who's making a trade here first?
Nashville, St. Louis.
Vancouver, Calgary.
I think the idea that trades happen now is cute,
but most teams will get more for waiting.
I know that people have put the for-sale sign out on the front lawn in Vancouver,
Jackie, but I don't think that means anything happens this week.
There's a lot of pieces they'd like.
If you're selling Kiefer, Sherwood now,
how much are you leaving on the table by not getting a bidding war from 10 teams in March?
I don't know.
But yeah, there's been some different approaches.
Doug Armstrong's leaked that basically no one's untouchable.
The Canucks have said all vets available.
We're not mentioning Quinn Hughes's name because, well, we're still in denial.
We're going to lose Quinn Hughes.
Buffalo is a game under 500.
We'll see what they do.
I mean, what, do they have vets or is it just, how many rebuilds in a row can you do that don't work?
I don't know.
And Nashville, certainly you've heard it.
Is it Stamco's, is it Marshall?
Could you get Ryan O'Reilly out of there?
There's a great need for second line centers, and he probably still is a very good one of those.
As for the flames, no, no, they're just going to work harder, Jack,
and get right back into the playoff mix, apparently.
Awesome.
We'll see.
You've got to be careful with your 911 calls,
because what you think's an emergency,
what I think's an emergency,
maybe doesn't qualify for what the first responders believes in emergency.
This is an actual tweet put out by the RCMP of Alberta.
Last night, we received a call from a man asking where the Oilers could get a starting goalie.
We understand that in Canada,
could be considered an emergency to some.
However, this is not a valid reason to dial 911.
How's it going, Edmondson?
Oof. A little panic up there, huh?
Hey, Dean.
What do the Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?
They're both at the bottom of the Atlantic.
That's correct.
It's been a rough start to the year for the Leafs.
Oh, dear.
That was the meme we had.
from yesterday.
They did get an overtime win,
another William Nealander
overtime game winning goal second in a few weeks
for him, but it has been an
ugly start. Hot seat for
Trilliving there at this point. No question.
There are the other results.
Huge late last night, 15 games.
Almost everyone played. Basically,
Edmonton didn't. One other team didn't.
Everyone else did. No games today.
Kick your feet up. Maybe you're in Miami.
You can get to the beach. I don't know.
Maybe playing with us on 10
didn't work and you won't do it again.
I'm not sure where the flames are at,
but it is no games today,
and then a bigger Friday slate.
Everyone clears out,
let's the NFL do their thing on Thursday.
NFL's king today.
Oh, NFL's kicking ass today.
Underway?
What's, yeah, how are we doing?
Well, there hasn't been a lot of action.
I saw a Green Bay field goal attempt.
We'll get you the live update.
Three nothing.
It's just a field goal at this juncture, Green Bay up.
Got a lot of Gibbs exposure here,
need him to get going.
He's got three carries for 16 yards.
Dino, don't get me going on these six.
What is that?
This is a massive ruffle.
Traditional chips and dip.
Old Dutch, I think it is.
Here's your slate today, retro.
You got Packers Lions we're watching right now.
That one's still early on.
We should have done picks today, Jack.
Who you got, Jack?
What do we got?
I'm going to.
Still got two games.
Don't worry.
We've got spreads on this.
What do we go out here?
Chiefs and Cowboys this afternoon will be a really interesting game.
I believe the spreads three there.
Kansas City favored on the road.
Dallas looked lost at sea, but Jerry's got the boys rolling.
They are right.
rolling.
They're rolling.
Big win, big comeback, victory.
Nobody's making fun of the Cowboys anymore in Jerry Jones.
Not after they beat the Eagles last week.
That was quite impressive.
And the night game time will have at least some intrigue with Joe Burrow returning.
If Burrow can come back and actually perform, it should be okay.
That might be a game.
Yeah.
And of course, Jamar Chase did not spit on someone last week.
So he is playing.
Of course you didn't.
Why would you do that?
No Tiggins.
No T.
So we'll see how the Bengals offense looks.
with the return of Burroughs seven point line there, Baltimore favored at home.
It is the Cowboys getting three points at home.
And if you're live wagering the Packers and Lions right now,
it's Lions minus one and a half as they trail by three late in the first quarter.
I'll take the Lions.
I like the Lions too.
Green Bay, I don't know what's going on with Jordan Love.
You look like you might be an elite quarterback.
Here's the thing about Green Bay.
Jack said they were the best for the season.
Kiss the death.
And we should have known right then and there that there's no chance this team could keep up.
It was right after he said the Steelers had the best defense in the NFL.
We should have known.
We should have known.
It's one of the best teams in the league.
So Steelers D is just unsub.
They miss Tucker Kraft.
They do big time, yeah, because it seems to be a hodgepodge of a lot of different receivers,
but Kraft was the thing you could set your watch.
You drinking cold coffee?
Oh, I'm drinking, uh, whatever pin your port here.
Shrods or whiskey.
Oh, being better whiskey is coffee.
Whiskey.
I'm going to eat another one in a minute.
Let's take a look at the coin toss.
I'm talking you eat.
This is a beauty because we know this is a big John Madden celebration day, right?
Here's your measuring cup.
Measuring cup.
There's a drawer to the right of the stove.
Right of the stove drawer, beauty.
How big a cup?
That's a big run right there.
There might be one in the sink.
Here's your coin toss.
Coins. There's John Madden. You got some turkeys
as well. They love this. It's a big
Madden Day. Nobody loved Thanksgiving
football more than the old
coaching broadcaster. And nobody loved watching
Madden on Thanksgiving
than me. Well, probably
they are more people, but everybody
loved watching Madden on Thanksgiving.
That's good stuff. You'll like this.
The Blue Jays made a massive splash
yesterday. I sure do. I like it, Brian. I was very excited.
I don't know who this man is, but if you're going to give them
that much, he must be good. Yeah.
Dylan Cease, who was
arguably the top free agent
pitcher on the market gets 30
million a year for seven years.
That's 210 million reasons
to think the Jays aren't satisfied
with a runner up last year
in the World Series. He joins a rotation
that already has Gosman, that already has
Treyu Savage, that already has got
Shane Bieber
and Berrios, not to mention Eric Lauer,
who now slides in as sort of that swing man
six hole. He's durable.
He's alternated between dominant
years and okay years.
And he's been a guy that Jay's have been after in trade for a while.
They get him as a free agent.
And I'm sure Pete Walker and the organization are happy to get this guy down to Florida and get him in the lab and start working on him.
They love durable pitchers.
Berrios has been that.
Gossman has been that.
The free agent signings don't miss a lot of time.
Most people like durable pitchers.
Yeah.
And it's better.
I think he leads the league in both strikeouts and walks over the last five years, which is interesting.
More strikeouts.
So can we get the command?
dialed in, looks like a potential front of the rotation guy,
one unnamed Major League Baseball player who reached out and said,
I think you could win a Cy Young over the course of this contract.
That person knows more than me about baseball.
There's not many that do.
There's not many that I know.
I think you know what I'm talking about.
What else did the Jay's going to get done here?
Bichette's a free agent.
So can they bring him back?
Do they prefer Kyle Tucker who can play outfield?
What about Alex Bregman, who opted out of his contract with Boston to be a free agent?
If they want Bichette, I think they'll pay them.
If they prefer the other guys, they might let Bichette walk and chase the other guys.
We'll see what they think in the coming weeks.
Do you sign anyone?
No, no one signed anything.
Jay's jumped the market, which after finishing runner up on Soto and Yamamoto and Otani,
get out of it.
You've got lots of dough down there.
Don't be cheap, Teddy.
Spend the dough, and it looks like he's doing it.
That is what's making news in the world of sports.
I think that's all we got for the PIN report today for our good friends.
at Village Honda, located in the Northwest Auto Mall.
If you're looking for pre-owned, it's winter friends.
Get something reliable.
Get something you trust.
Maybe something all wheel drive.
Get the winter tires on there.
They'll take care of all that for you.
Over 90 units on the lot and access to 500 more in the dealer group,
VillageHonda.com.
And of course, your dealership for life in the Northwest Auto Mall.
Go sit.
Get the winter tires on.
Winters are key.
I saw some dummy today at a four-way stop.
It might have been a 2%.
grade.
Just, just
I'm like, you're just making ice now.
This is, how are we
doing summers?
Well, that's right.
I mean, it is Alberta and Canada.
First time we've had a winter like this.
It would be fair.
Yeah, there's some dumb drivers.
3-0 Green Bay, by the way,
early on here.
They're driving.
This is not the fireworks I was expecting.
Goggles.
He's got some nice goggles on.
End of the first quarter.
The field goal, the only scoring we've seen
in the NFL.
Enjoy a day tomorrow.
We also have an NFL game tomorrow.
I don't know if you remember that.
How much couch time can we get Thanksgiving?
As much as we can.
Really?
Feels like it's going to pile up.
PD day tomorrow.
Don't love that.
But we'll see.
Kids out of school.
Flames and bears at the same time, Dino.
Two screens.
Two screens.
I hope you can survive it.
I mean, those flames games are.
Measuring, like, spoons?
Just to the right of the,
you don't have to dig around.
To the right of the stove.
Can we get a kitchen update, boom?
What's going on?
One of the measuring cups, maybe?
Second?
No, reunion day tomorrow, Longberg, Hubert O. Weeger, back in Florida,
and all their friends have two rings.
Yeah, they don't.
Well, Longberg's got one, but yeah, none of them have two.
Yeah.
The tough, is that awkward? Is it great?
What is this?
Because you're happy for those guys, but you're like, damn it.
That could have been me.
And two years in the sports world is...
forever.
So is it ideal?
Yeah, there'll be some emotion, but it's not the same as even a year ago or the year
before.
This is probably the third time they've been down there.
Yeah, that's true.
Not the first time for sure.
Right?
So the first time back is always holy.
And the second time, probably they were pissed last year because they didn't get the ring.
But there's so much water under the bridge by now.
let's put your money on the board and go.
As Ricky says on trailer park, boys, it's water under the fridge at this point.
Okay, so they play a Sunday afternoon game following the Friday afternoon game,
and that gives them a nice little runway for a Nashville night on Sunday.
If you're Ryan Huska, how do you let the boys get to Broadway?
What do you need to see here?
Because you could definitely overnight it like you did in Ottawa and take it away from the fellas.
I don't know that's the move right now.
That is ignorant if you're doing that.
but on the other hand
I'm not sure that that group of fellows
is interested in tutsis anyways
they need some leadership if that's the case
I would agree with that
I think weeks and a few of the fellows
could show the mandatory
mandatory
yeah we're taking attendance roll call
everyone's got a karaoke
please check in take your song
10 freebirds
10 freebirds
they're making good money
they can afford it they can afford it
all right
No, we get, Jack's getting ransacked here.
I may have to make a yeast run.
A yeast run.
That's not, it's like, uh, you're kind of traditional yeast.
I need like the fast.
I should have brought it.
It's on me.
I brought everything.
I forgot to bring the yeast.
How close is, uh, yeast are us?
Close.
Okay.
Yeah.
That's easy.
Yeah.
Sweet.
Go get it.
All right.
All right.
Uh, uh, yeah.
All right.
All right, Dean, Godspeed, brother.
Good luck, Dean.
Don't go too fast.
Drive safe.
Yeah.
What's our bird ETA?
Birds ready.
Really?
As soon as buns are ready.
See you, buddies.
Craig Conner got his two-year extension last night during the broadcast.
Dean and I have weighed in.
Thoughts, surprises.
I'm sure you've sent him in a gift basket already.
I don't know what they were waiting for.
I mean, I don't put as much, I don't want, I don't put any stock into PR moves, right?
and announcements.
It's like,
if you knew that,
do your business.
Do your business.
And if you didn't know
he was going to be your GM
going to see some shame on you.
Yeah.
You had all summer.
Yeah.
And maybe they did or maybe
who knows.
We don't know what led to this,
but it got announced yesterday.
Yeah,
but if they did,
sign it.
Yeah.
And be done with it.
So we don't have to speculate
and stress.
We got a yeast cam,
I think.
Yeah.
It's a yeast cam.
I've done this.
You know this muffler all the time.
Did anyone whisk up his copy?
Is that touchdown?
For a loud to announce.
Fourth down, we'll see if this counts.
It looks like it will.
Oh, Wix.
Dantabian.
Dantabian, Wicked and nothing packed.
One foot.
Oh, second puts out.
That's going to come back.
Now, I didn't play in the NFL, but I'm that...
Is that first foot down on the pot it, though?
That'll be the question.
Let's go back.
Do you have possession of the ball when the first foot was down?
I don't know.
As a defense player.
What's that guy doing?
Trying to hit him out of bounds, or...
No, he was going for an interception instead of playing the ball.
Like, it's fourth.
Oh, that's close.
Why didn't that guy go...
He's trying to catch a hole.
Look at this.
Oh, he is really right now.
He's not going to hang on to it if you just...
That need is not supposed to turn them away.
Oh, there's flexible.
Hope it's been doing his potty.
It's a big call, Jack.
What do you see?
Did he have possession when the first foot was down or not?
I think, yeah.
I can't get touched up.
That is.
We'll tack on an extra point.
Oh, Green Bay, early.
Come on, Lyons.
Dan Campbell.
What did I mean?
I didn't say it.
For Thanksgiving, Gang Campbell.
It's cool.
Detroit.
Jeez.
How are the roads seen?
The roads are okay.
We're in a very,
very fancy part of town,
so they're paved with gold.
Right.
You have the heated roads down here.
Yeah,
the heated golden concrete here in
fancy town is pretty good.
Yeah, nice.
Is that part of the strata?
Or what do they,
how do you get those?
Yeah, we all chip in.
No, it's a geothermal thing that, you know, we don't want to add any carbon to the air.
Can't believe I forgot the yeast.
Well, I don't know if you forgot it.
You just thought I'd have different yeast.
Well, you know, in first, it's a little fringy.
To have the active dry, like the active rise, the quick deal yeast.
It's okay.
Is this yeast gate?
Is it Red's fault or deans?
No, I, uh.
I knew I probably didn't need to bring the mixer.
Right.
Have the mixer.
And then I just, I guess I wasn't thinking, because there's not a lot that goes into it.
I've told you guys, you got your milk, yeast flour, butter, a little bit of salt, a little bit of sugar.
And then you mix them all together.
And then it's going to rise.
And then you got to put them into the balls.
And then they got to rise.
And then you fire them in.
Oh, well.
We'll survive it.
Yeah.
Well, you know what?
If it's, there are anything that we are,
like it's absolutely we're ready for adversity.
Yeah, we deal with a lot of...
We're tenacious.
We're unrelenting.
We're working.
Navy SEALs of the podcast game.
Yeah, I think so.
A lot of these people come in once a week.
Soft.
Yeah.
It's a thing any day anywhere.
Buffalo, lobby in Nashville,
hungover.
Sitting in a crew captain.
Okay, we can do this anywhere.
What is going on with the
with the Colorado Avalanche?
This is a wagon, Dean, and like major wagon.
They have gone...
Is it 10 in a row?
They've scored 13 goals since the last time
another team scored on them.
They blanked the Sharks 5-0 last night.
Holy shit, right?
Like, it's...
I forget who I was...
I think me was watching the Spitting Chick-Chiclist podcast
and they were talking.
Are we seeing...
the Boston Bruins from three years ago
where it's one of the
unbelievable regular season run.
They hope not because that didn't go well in the playoffs for Boston.
No, Colorado's been there.
It's just, there's been some disappointing exits.
They get Dallas last year, a random game seven's them,
and then they...
Shushkin abandoned them in Seattle.
They've had some tough playoff exits.
There's still superstars, high-speed.
They're goal-tending.
I mean, it's not...
Edmonton to the F's always...
that that rantan thing last year when he that was i mean that's a kick in the dick when anybody serves it up like that in a must win that's tough but when it's that guy that stinks yeah but yeah i'll say this though i mean natures just fit in perfectly they re-upped him they got him at a number they couldn't have got rantan at i don't know that he's better i wouldn't suggest that but if you had to get rid of ranting and that's a guy that plays with pace and he's piling up points with him as well
He isn't far off.
No, and Landisog's back
and not just there.
Landlach's thing too.
I was going to be in a lot of balance.
In the 3rd 13.
Yeah.
McKinnon 39 points in 23 games.
Carr 30.
H's 30.
Lockingins around a point per game.
Fushkin hasn't even really got going yet.
It's guaranteed.
Yeah, I would have been back in the 25th
was about the same
between Colorado.
I don't know.
One man or...
Yeah, we'll see.
I don't know.
I didn't see it being that much of a juggernaut.
You are in the year, but...
Because they've...
Like, last year at the deadline,
they brought in Coil and the Brock Lobster.
Yep.
Reup, Brock Lobster.
They've hung on to the lobster.
Yeah.
I'm kind of with you, Rand.
Yeah, they're good team.
But at the start of the season, I probably, you know, Vegas right there.
I probably take Dallas ahead of them.
I'm not sure that I saw this coming.
You know what they did under the radar that no one talked about
is they completely overhauled their entire crease.
They got Eustace Annen out of there.
They got Yorgiev out of there, Georgi 5, as noodles called them last year.
And they did it by moving, like, fringy players and second and third rounders.
Everyone in the evidence is like, well, how do you make a deal?
It's like, I understand it's a tough spot you're in.
Go look what the avalanche did here.
You found a way to do it before it became panic where everyone's going to try to
screw you.
And also, when you can recognize that that's your piece heel.
Yeah.
You might want to put a little extra time and effort is that specific thing and get real
tiled in of what you're trying to achieve.
Now, I think the others believed after the back to the finals,
you're going to find.
of mistake.
It shouldn't be following.
It shouldn't be coming in as a surprise Christmas present to the Oilers.
Like even if you thought Skidder and figured we're going to be, it's like,
oh, oh, we should have to be able to quickly pivot, recognize who we are targeting and go after them.
It feels to me like Edmonton is just, oh, how did this happen?
Where did this come from?
It's been three years.
Like, come on, you fellas.
And even when Stan.
Bowman addressed the media at the end of the season last year.
He's like, well, you know, there'll be some change in the forward groups.
The deal will be pretty similar.
And, you know, there'll be some movement in net.
There hasn't been.
They went and got a kid for the H.L.
And Connor Ingram, who has, you know, looked like an intro goaltender at times.
But they literally have let this become such a big issue that I think now anytime they pick up
the phone, teams are turning the screws on that.
Well, I'll say two other things.
Anytime a goal, a player shows up in the best shape of his life.
Kiss a death.
Kiss of death.
And their D sucks.
They suck right now.
They're D.
Well, they do suck.
Darnel nurse is not a nine and a half or whatever the FF.
Nine and a quarter.
That's a joke.
Bouchard is an enigma because of,
well,
he's got lots,
I don't care.
You can't win with that effort.
Like he doesn't,
he's so,
so,
he's not,
I'm trying to think of a nice way to say it,
but he's dog shit in his own end.
Yeah.
Like complete dog ship.
He's half the ice player, right?
Yes.
Okay.
Power play, offensive zone.
He does make things happen.
I don't know.
But here's the thing.
For 10 or whatever the F he signed for.
Yeah.
I don't, for a guy that limited in his own zone.
Mm-hmm.
And playing with dry sidel and McDavid,
are you telling me you can't find someone else at $6 million bucks?
Yeah.
that could get 80 or 90% of those offensive points.
Like, he's so, he's not doing it on his own.
It's got a hard shot.
He puts it at the net.
But he's also got a bunch of offensively gifted players that he gets to pick up points off of.
So if you're half-ass decent at moving the pocket,
I think there's a lot of guys in the NHL that are,
they're getting 80% of those, 90% of those points.
anyway. He's not creating
it on his own. This is not
McCar, rushing the puck
and bringing it up, right?
Like, now,
I would have dumped him, and I've said it for years.
I don't like his attitude. I don't like his
body language. I can't say what his attitude
is, because I don't know.
His body language is terrible. His own
zone is awful, and that
does hurt, it's not just
goaltending, as shitty as that
goaltending is in Edmond.
Well, I think it was...
He was older.
Yeah, I was 36 now.
They just gave him an extension.
Like, that is an old roster.
And I think there was a push from Connor and company.
Like, we've got to get some younger players, but the young players aren't ready yet.
Like, I Cowards in the A.
Like, McLeod is a good solid player.
And they've been waiting on Savoy to finally crack this roster.
Has this been screwed up since, I mean, big time.
And even him signing for cheap.
We rip.
I don't even rip on him.
I'm like, that's foolish.
You shouldn't.
That's my opinion.
That was that that was a foolish move.
because he waited until the season started, right?
All he needed was another 60 days.
Well, and I'm not even saying that.
I'm saying if you wanted to give clarity and your GMs some runway to go get guys.
Do it July 1?
Do it July 1.
Listen, I'll do it July 1st.
Now you know what I'm going to cost you for the next year.
When the GM's going, F, I don't know, is it going to be 20 million?
Yeah, it ties your hands.
It ties your hands.
Yeah.
Now you have to trade.
Yeah.
No, they're in a test spot.
I think the biggest challenge you're facing isn't roster deficiencies because they're not as bad as their record.
How do you emotionally get this group engaged after two long runs?
And when you've played into June two years in a row, like, how do you get up for November 27th, 28?
Flamboon made a point yesterday about are they the emotional leaders, right?
There's leaders, there's emotional leaders and there's off-ice leaders.
Like, there's different types of leaders.
And I don't know that.
they have an emotional leader, if that makes any sense.
Yeah, I think, I think, I think,
right now there's no one.
Like, right now they're like dry-siddle.
He's got his nickname?
Yeah, Dr. Drey, baby.
He's not my doctor.
Forgot about Dre?
There's one Dr. Dr.
I think he's a mope.
I think he's the first guy to get the pout on when things start going sideways.
I think he's that right now, but you watch in that series against the Kings that swung,
like when you needed someone to swing something.
Oh, look.
It was always him.
His play, yeah.
He's an incredible player.
His play is one thing.
I just mean his demeanor, the body, like, is,
he can be very mopey fast.
And it's interesting.
He can turn it in a hurry.
I don't know.
I just, there's breaking news.
Something seems off.
And yeah, I just think they know they're not going to win with it.
every day that passes that they don't address the
goaltending probably feels like
a waste of time.
Yeah. And honestly, if I'm
another GM and Stan Bowman calls me,
I just start jortling. Like,
Thanksgiving. I thought I was Thanksgiving.
This is Christmas. Yeah, you want
Elvis Mears Lickens? I think probably
an unprotected first and
we'll take a prospect. Like,
they're going to have to pay out the ass for a lateral move at this
point because everyone knows how desperate they are.
And everyone knows that there just
isn't many options out there.
No, we have noodles on.
He's like, what about Bennington?
What about Saros?
Like, they are going to ask for a King's ransom for those guys.
They just are.
There's no goalies on the market this summer.
Everyone's re-upping their goalies.
And, you know, I think both those teams want to see a play out a little more.
If you want to add a goalie now, it is going to be absolutely,
you're getting raked over the coals on price right now.
Stupid.
No, cooley.
He's got a great cumbers.
Sent him up north for, come on, fellas.
We talked about a lot.
It's night, fellas.
Who do you start tomorrow afternoon in Florida?
We have to know the mindset of wolf, I think.
From where we said it's too hard.
I need to understand what's his demeanor, what's his body language, what's his wants, needs.
As good as cool he is, I don't get, I'm going to Wolf and saying, what do you want to do?
Yeah.
I mean, they might not ask him because he's so young.
They might just say, but I guarantee you LeBroad was talking to him and getting a vibe, right?
They know his mindset for sure.
Yeah, I think that's more important than who's playing.
well and giving us the best chance to win,
what do we need to do for Wolf?
My focus would not be about wins and losses,
and it's easy. Clearly, they are not in that boat,
but my focus would be on how do I develop
this guy who needs to be the backbone of this organization
for the next decade. I agree with that. That's the long-term view.
I will say this. Like Ryan Huska is still trying to win games,
and I don't know that Devin Kooli is going to be leading the NHL
in any goaltending categories for a long amount of time.
This is the iron hot. If you're ever going to
use them a little more. Now's your window. You should have been using them more. We were all fearful
going in. We're just repeating ourselves. He played like shit in preseason and he's been really good
since. So they should have been using them more to begin with. I don't know what's going on with Wolf.
I don't know if I even blame them for last night. I mean, one is a clean shot from a goal
score at the top of the circuit. You'd like a save. A high end goal score. But it's a great A. The other
ones through a screen and the third goes off his own defenseman stick trying to tie up his
man and then it's good night have a shower and sometimes you're not pulling him because
it's his fault sometimes you're pulling him because you don't like the attitude of your team or the
shots are six one and you're giving up great a's yeah so try not to be too analytical well analytical's
not to read too much into it don't overreact yeah yeah yeah they could go either way and there's
enough games here that it's not like someone's going to be on ice i imagine they'll split
the Carolina, Florida games, and then
whatever you got for the Toilet Bowl in Nashville,
probably who's playing better?
Yeah. Wow, who cares? Again,
I know you're right, and that Huska isn't thinking
the same way as I am, but he should be.
Yeah, well, that's the GM's job.
Now the GM has his contract.
I hope Conroy phones us and faxes us some money.
Do we get commission on that?
Yeah, because they weren't going to sign until we started raising a stink.
I'm convinced of that.
Well, we started making a stick then.
Elliot and Frank start making stinks after, I know, follow their lead.
Classic.
The boom, he's an innovator.
You cracked them first, you know.
Yeah, I make shit happen, guys.
You know that.
How's the east run?
I make the needle move.
Just on Wolf, he's got to go back in, right?
He's going to, he has to want to go back in.
He has to tell the coaches, I want back in.
You know, I was embarrassed.
It was the first period.
because if he doesn't go back in,
okay, so now Cooley's played, what,
three and a half of the last four
or whatever it'll end up being at that point?
Yeah, like you said,
one went off the, you know,
I don't know if Warner Whiteboard works on that,
but I don't know where Uyghur's going.
They're in, like it's a chip play that they've got numbers,
but Weiger comes all the way to his left,
and Hegel's got a ton of room,
and ball tips went in.
it's just one of those games.
I just think you put Wolf back in there.
It's an afternoon friggin' weird set up anyway.
Just get back in there.
I don't even know how much...
Like, we don't have a lot to say about it.
What are the coaches?
Are they going to be diving deep into tape?
I don't think so.
Just go practice.
Your power play, just keep working.
It's awful last night.
Don't forget, I don't make a lot of excuses for the team,
but that travel and schedules, but shit.
Like, even with a day off,
That's three time zones
That's dog
Yeah like out east back
Out west coast
East coasts terrible
Your body clock's all off Dino
Really yeah
Yeah
Yeah
Fibre
Yeah
You know what I liked about
Just on your last few comments there rent
I believe you said
I want to find a nice way to say this
He's dog shit in his own end
That was very nice of you to
That was a nice way to say it
To kind of, you know, shine that up, shine up real nice.
Yeah, I try to keep it classy.
Yeah.
Yeah, I didn't want to be disrespectful.
I try to find a nice way to say it.
He's dog shit in his own zone.
And he is.
Can you imagine the coaches' meetings, like when the doors are closed and they are just kind of our pre-show, you know?
Yeah.
When things you just say for a lot of the way you really feel.
Right? Because it was about two or three weeks ago, right?
There was, and there was nothing major,
but there was that video that came out from Oilers practice
where he's clearly yippet at Bouchard,
say, like, what are you doing there?
Like, he's frustrated with Bouchard.
Was that for the 9-1 loss, the 9-1 loss?
It might have been.
Okay.
Frustrated with his goal tending.
If you're dry-sidal and, like, David,
here's the hard part.
When you go to the finals, you are tight.
You're close with the guys when you go through that many battles
and you're trying to win a stantic.
So you're, it's two things.
I think they probably like Bouchard,
but if you're dry-sitle and McDavid,
and the guys in that room,
do you believe that he's the guy that's,
or do you look at,
I think they're thinking the same things about the goalies.
They probably really like Stu and Cal,
but they're like, you know, if we're being real honest,
like we could use a better goal.
I just wonder if they're going,
you're making, you can't nurse.
I think he's,
especially nurse.
You can't move out.
He's like,
Hey, Darnell,
you're getting
me over pink as you're playing with us.
We're going to need you to add a little more.
And it's not capable.
And I feel that way about Bouchard.
I don't think he's capable of adding more.
And I think the management made a huge,
mistake and signing him.
Fucking trade him and get two guys back.
I guarantee you.
Between two guys, you would get close to the same result offensively
and defensively, you're not going to be getting caved in.
There was word that Carolina was loading up an offer sheet for Bouchard
and they're a heavy analytics crew, so they'd like Bouchard probably more than most.
And that was like, get this done quick.
Because the more I look back at Holloway and Broberg,
and it's like, those are the guys that are in their prime right now that are getting better,
every year. They're not 36 year olds.
You don't have to pay them UFA money yet.
They're not in the minors, not quite ready.
Like, they were worried about that happening again.
But geez, even if you took like, let's say four first,
flip those into players right now.
Yes.
You can.
To your point.
Shuffle the decks.
Like, hey, Dino.
He's back.
He's back.
Look at the serious.
Throw the bird back and just in that warm oven.
Jack, you hungry?
Did you try the borset?
No, I haven't yet.
Off of the fucks.
I need another drink.
Do I'm going to make you drink?
Sure.
Well, should we just wrap the, okay, no.
Yeah, we can wrap the first show.
We'll finish this segment of the show, maybe.
We got to do super chats and look at some bets.
Well, let's hammer some super chats, you know,
and then we'll save some reads for the second show or you want to bang them out now.
You've got to do buns.
We've got another show coming.
Yeah.
Let's do our bets and super chats.
All right.
We can do superchurch.
We'll just fire it right back up.
Yeah.
I got it.
the horns.
Wow.
Holy,
I didn't know how he ever did this before,
but I might want to.
Get out of here.
This is mine now.
Start.
Hit a couple of Rhett.
I know.
I'm techie.
He's a big tech guy.
You test that out,
Reds?
See if it's still working?
What do you got there?
Big up, stupid.
Yeah, it was the Don Maloney, wasn't it?
Look, I was drinking.
You mark?
He's got balls.
How's your dog?
All right.
That's your goddamn dog.
That's going to be you.
Yeah.
Ooh, yeah, what's the update on that?
Let's get to your Super Chats.
The money will head to the youth centers of Calgary.
A safe place for youth in high-risk areas.
Safe place.
An Adel that believes in them.
I'm all nicely done.
Happy American Thanksgiving, boys.
That's coming in from Handsome Dan.
He's got $10 in.
That's because the flame scored once.
Joel Fairby.
Don't know how he beat Vaselowski with that shop,
but they don't ask how, right?
They ask how many.
He's up six.
Well, Joel Farby's owed a few because.
has been out of few.
Absolutely.
Snake bedding for three weeks.
He's at six.
That's not bad.
Well, on this team.
Yeah,
on this team.
It's exactly it.
Talking about it last night of Bobby Germany,
could you move at Joel Farmer?
He's like,
one and he's got two years left at five.
Well,
it's too bad because he could definitely be at 10 already.
If he had any of the puck luck at search.
Right?
And then you're like,
absolutely you can move a 20, 25 goals.
I'll tell you right.
You pop them into the managed panty hole in the oilers lineup.
He's not minus 16.
I'll tell you that.
Cool.
Very head and door.
Okay, keep moving.
Thank you, handsome Dan.
Appreciate it.
Always checking in.
Matt Hurl.
Earl, 699, as Dean would say,
Happy Thanksgiving, fellas.
Has Rhett got the helium from the moon yet?
Nine.
Oilers suck.
Fix the bleeping roof.
Have I got the helium from the moon?
I think you were talking about some space.
Oh, yeah, the energy is around launch,
finished.
Yeah.
there.
Fix the roof.
That was Dean in this rant.
I got this nice house.
Oh, I was like, geez, did we show the roofs?
Fixed a bleep and roof.
There are a few scratches from sticks.
I think they're fixing the roof.
I got Connie ain't.
Yeah, I don't know.
When is that next Don Maloney media avail?
Oh, never got it.
He was coming out to announce the Conroy.
I haven't seen him.
No.
Yeah, maybe bringing us someone else.
I guarantee he's on the road trip, as he would not want to be hanging around here.
Yeah, a little, there's weather and then there's, you know, people.
Yeah.
Everyone's a little nice to do them in Florida this week, I'm guessing.
Let's go to the next one.
Philip S. 1988, $4.99.
Who are the four players that would be on the Toronto Raptors Mount Rushmore?
Can you name four Raptors of all time?
Are your favorites?
Fin's Carter.
Carter's got to be there.
Kauai's got to be there.
That wasn't a long time because they won.
Kyle Lowry.
Lowry for sure.
Big country's the wrong answer.
And probably Damar de Rosen.
De Rosen could be that guy.
He was a sacrifice.
I've got a soft spot for Mugsy Boggs, but you wouldn't be a rushmore.
That's fair.
I'm not the north anymore.
You know what?
Tracy McGrady could get a little love there?
Yeah, how long was he in Toronto?
Long enough.
The big sleep, apparently slept like 15 hours a day.
Chris Bosch?
Bosch, yeah.
He kind of a sellout, though.
He was taking his town to South Beach Jack.
Don't be too hard on.
It happens.
Thank you, Philip, for the five bucks for the kids.

Where are we meeting?
Black Friday tomorrow.
Go.
Yes.
Back in town.
Uh,
thank you working man.
Appreciate the two bucks.
It is,
uh,
it is a great holiday.
The American Thanksgiving.
That's all,
boys.
That's all.
Very good.
Look at this.
We've got 800 people watching.
Oh,
do you go out with that too?
Or am I just getting anxious?
Let's,
uh,
this is good.
Now, here's saying,
we got so many people watching right now.
Do we feel?
feel like we'll just tell them another stream we'll be popping up soon.
Hang with us.
We're not going anywhere.
You just keep it on too.
I don't know if you're sure.
I'm going to tuck into the corner of the couch here.
Jack needs a stretch out of it.
Jack needs a couple beverages.
What do you need, Jack?
Dean's going to get the buns going.
We'll come back with our bontan meets Thanksgiving,
Yankee Turkey extravaganza stream.
Meat sweats.
Meets,
coming up right at you.
See you,
which one's going on?
Let's look, we got to do a bat's quick.
Betts, yeah.
Let's pull up the game odds.
Good friends at Bet 365.
Talking game props, player props, the money line in game.
By the way, Detroit touchdown.
David Montgomery, direct snap.
10-7.
Cops is a pack.
So lions hanging in there.
We had a few in here.
I don't know how many are still pertinent or not.
I this morning took the lions minus three, parlayed that with the Cowboys getting points,
and the Ravens minus seven.
That's a little turkey day parlay.
Raven's laying seven, excuse me.
Do you have anything in particular?
I would have done that.
I would have done that exact same thing.
If I was doing a little parlay,
which is usually the kiss of death,
but yeah.
I still think you're in decent shape.
Yeah.
Bay is playing well.
They're kind of driving the field here.
Yeah, they're,
oh, that's going to be off.
That helps.
They're inside the 10 here.
Geez, look at that.
All right.
Well, keep watching football.
Watch the YouTube channel.
for the live stream. Jack, what do you think
turnaround time here?
I can, we can just start it right away.
Yeah, why not?
We can just press mute and go make your drinks and leave it on for Christ.
No, I got to upload the audio on this show.
You're all audio friends.
I don't know the techie stuff.
We'll start the stream and Jack.
I probably need 20 minutes.
Yeah, okay. So we'll see you.
Let's look at the clock here.
Do I have to push on this one, Dean, to end the show.
See you, buddies.
Start with an ass.
Joe End.
See, buddies.
