And we begin on a Monday.
Welcome to Barn Burner.
You gave me a look there.
I was like,
I had to question myself.
Monday.
Is it Monday?
It's got to be Monday,
right?
Is it a short week?
Uh,
it can be.
Any week's a short week.
Just like Antonio Brown told us last week.
If you,
every day's a half day if you just walk out.
Like,
that's good.
Yeah.
You miss that day.
It's inspirational stuff.
See,
I was the way that day.
Yeah.
Perfect.
Short week.
How it works.
That's how you do it.
Uh, it's bar and it's a bit.
It's presentation.
to bet 365, the world's largest sports betting platform,
get an account open, and when you do,
use the promo code nation when you sign up.
If you haven't already, get it on your phone, play along.
Whatever the moment, it's never ordinary at bet 365.
And as always, we've got the super chat up and running inside the
YouTube chat, a little donation, and we will jettison it off
to the youth centers of Calgary, a donation of your choosing.
Maybe you're very generous, maybe you're just,
just a smidge.
It's all very much appreciated.
Yeah, you're generous either way.
Yeah, either way.
It's probably a good cause either way.
Well, how was the weekend?
Oh, Dean.
It was great.
Great.
Mostly based on Funkers Dill to Pilko.
I was going to say, the last thing we saw on the group chat for the weekend was the
Dill Pickle recipe.
Nothing again until this morning.
Well, that's not true.
There was two videos put in.
Please tell us, let everyone,
come on into our group check. Come on in. Dean.
I don't know. I don't remember.
It was two people making Bill Pickle Diff.
There were videos.
One was a video.
Was it?
I had a video.
The best part I thought of all of it was we do nothing.
Like, we do things.
Yeah.
Survive and we shower the odd time.
The odd time.
But like to get us to really do something.
Yeah.
Like we're going to accomplish.
And a Dill Pickle Dip recipe went out.
And within.
couple hours oh well i i had the completed product
photograph by 120 p.m. and we had finished maybe
our 65 minutes prior to that i was i was very motivated
i knew i had the cream i knew i had all the ingredients that i needed in the fridge
how good is i feel there's the retro oh yeah look at this
now you don't have to use the stand mixer i just did you just i use the hand mixer
but I will say that.
And again, it was one of the first things we talked about when I got to the studio today.
How good was that?
The reviews.
Very good.
Are we comfortable sharing on the show?
I got yelled at because I took it on a road trip.
That's how good it was.
And the other person was like, came home.
Ready to dig in?
Ready to dig in.
She go.
Where's the dip?
Let that other person know maybe it's not just about them.
I said I made the damn.
dip it's my dip you don't know nothing about the recipe's on the counter yeah don't you make your
dip you got a whole fridge right there there probably is and again it's because that that recipe it's
funkers there's nothing super out of this world about it but if we ever did put together a little
recipe recipe like a cookbooky deal for charity it would probably raise some money i'd have like 10
cocktails at the back and you guys just have all the food at the front yeah it'd be great yeah that's
how that would go next christmas i love it
it.
Yeah, the gravy, buns, dip.
None of it very healthy.
That'd be the thing for you.
A booze isn't healthy either, but you'd be like, cream cheese.
We have no cream cheese.
We have no mayonnaise.
We have no mayonnaise.
We have some of the things, but yeah.
The wardens not too keen on, no.
Seed oils.
Let's avoid the seed oils.
Yeah.
What's just saying.
Yeah.
Good.
Yeah.
I was worried about your bills.
Were you?
For about four minutes.
One dry.
I feel like you weren't.
I feel like you weren't.
I feel like you were cheering for Denver.
If you go back to the sponsors of the show,
the bet 365,
I'm 100% certain that you took the team from Denver and the point.
I did.
I think I also,
did I not also say that I thought the bills would win, but.
So listen,
this is how the real world works.
Jack and I have now discussed because he owes me eight pizzas.
He has eight.
He has passed.
Yes.
Oh,
you eight pizzas.
Because we had a,
I gave you 14 for the bills.
It was a push.
No,
you didn't.
No one took the bet on the bills game.
You never accepted the bills game.
You had a bet on the Steelers game.
The first touchdown.
Well,
I was actually just going to say that,
but now you're being a D again.
So I might change it.
But because Jack was supportive of the bills with the bet three,
six, five,
just going to wave the death.
No,
no, no, no.
That bet has transferred.
over to Dean.
Don't know how that works.
I don't know.
I don't either.
Well,
that's the real world.
Dean owes you four pizzas.
I owe you 14 pizzas.
Four pizzas because you're ignorant and you cheer for the Broncos.
I was not cheering for the Broncos.
I just thought,
was it eight and a half?
Is that what the line was?
Bill's going to win this thing.
Well,
how to go for you.
Not great.
Good first drive.
Yeah.
It's like,
ooh.
After that,
and then,
and then,
yeah.
Did they,
I'm a little worried.
it next weekend.
That's next weekend.
Okay.
Yeah, honestly, yeah.
You need to bask in the glow.
3117.
There was a lot of basking,
buffaloonian basking,
because I was getting a lot of texting.
Good.
There was a lot of congratulatory messages.
Hoopalupa.
Yeah, yeah.
I was very excited for the weekend.
I watched a lot of football.
It was not great football.
You know what?
The best game was last night.
Yeah.
Awesome.
But it took us all the way until that game
before it was like,
there's one we'll remember.
All the others are like,
And I feel like tonight might be a good one too.
I thought that about some of the other ones.
I thought that the Eagles and Packers was going to be great.
And it really was kind of a slog.
No, we kept waiting for the Packers to do something.
And then their top three receivers were out by, what, the third quarter?
You're like, yeah, I don't know, this is going to happen.
Almost like the Broncos bills yesterday on Saturday.
The Chargers took a lead, looked good early, and then got thumped by the Texas.
That made a really good point.
Like, their lives are in disarray.
Yeah, not only are they not able to practice all week getting into the playoffs,
but like, yeah, where are their wives and children and families?
Surrounded by wildfire, if not evacuated.
Wow, they would be evacuated.
I'm sure they're safe.
Point being, like, you think you're going to have some check-ins if everyone's been evacuated?
Like, where are they?
What are we doing?
Do we have this stuff?
Like, but really what you saw was a team that had their way for most of the first half and did
nothing with it.
two field goals, a turnover,
and then one drive from Houston at the end,
and you're like, of course they're trailing.
There's emotion in that.
I know I can.
Last we checked,
they were up 27-0 nothing on the Jaguars in a playoff game.
This is not a one-off.
This is two in a row where you've been in control,
and, you know,
very different,
but brutal second halves in both.
Like,
doors blown off.
Be tough to be a Bucks fan,
watching that one play out last night.
That's a good game back and forth.
It's a good game.
Turnovers. Turnover, turnover, off the upright and in.
The doinkin in is exceptional.
Yeah.
We got some clips.
Bad doin.
The pit are standing in the rink in the whatever.
When you see the video we have, you'll understand why it was doink.
Yeah.
The kicker was.
Should we just play it now?
We should.
Yeah.
Zane has got.
So this is their fourth kicker they've used this year.
Zane Gonzalez, who's bounced around a little bit as a kicker in the NFL.
And he actually made, what, a 52-yarder, I want to say, in the fourth quarter.
but he understands what's his stake here.
Like he doesn't have a job next year if he misses this.
It's like, okay, just act normal.
Oh, boy.
Rub my hair, yeah, okay.
That's all right.
We do this every weekend.
We're fine.
No, that still doesn't feel right.
Okay.
And, uh, relax.
I'm not nervous.
Breathe.
Breathe.
Breathe red.
Okay.
Now we're ready.
Not yet.
No, okay.
Like what, what is going on here?
That's some,
these guys tweak it out.
That's surreal.
And there's been videos.
He's had,
that's a thing.
Like,
he's got some OCD situation.
There's something.
Yeah.
But yeah, of course he almost missed a 30-something yarder.
He did almost stumble on it.
The same quarter, he hit a 52 yarder.
I'm like that in the bedroom.
Don't want to hear about that.
Okay, I'm almost ready.
Almost right.
Here we go.
No, I'll just hang on just a little bit.
We've not talked about one football game.
I think we've kind of covered a lot.
And you kind of got into you.
Spoiler alert.
You kind of talked about the game coming up for the bills and who they play.
but I don't for us anybody on with this show that's all eyes were kind of on the
Steelers on the weekend against the Ravens and you had that video last on the Pinder
report about how Steelers fan on Monday we're we're screw this is terrible by Tuesday you know
I'll check for my team Wednesday you know pickens is back then that changes things and by Friday
it's we haven't shown the many things I don't know what's got he's always coaching
horrible well and the ravens were the ravens the
lord oh is that do they call that they flexed yeah they flexed whatever
why are we even talking about i mean jack yeah i mean i should have expected it i had fully
bought into the steelers winning until the opening kickoff where the steelers win the
the coin toss and they elect to receive and i went oh no
Kickoff? Yeah. And they never do that. They always defer. They take the ball. They go three and out. And Lamar and Henry run it down their throat. Every single play. The Steelers have never seen a read option. They let T.J. Watt go right at the quarterback. Every play. Lamar just keeps it runs. The second half, Derek Henry ran all over them. Like 200 yards, two touchdowns destroyed them. The offense was horrible. Wilson can go. I don't need to see.
Oh, Russie.
Come on.
Cush it for us.
Give it some time, Jack.
It's so fresh.
It was what we expected.
Well, he's talking about sending Tomlin on the Dave Cameron ship.
Yeah, he can go to.
Oh, my goodness.
See, and that's the overreaction to me.
No, it's not, Ryan, because it's been eight years since they won a playoff game.
And not only did they not win, they get killed every single game.
They never show up until it's too late.
And it's lamezy.
Who is the best quarterback he's had in those eight years?
Maybe Russell Wilson.
And that's why I don't put it on Mike Tomlin.
He made the playoffs with,
I don't think any other coach in the league makes the playoffs with those two
quarterbacks.
Maybe not.
But when?
So they need to go get a quarterback.
They don't need to change a coach.
But why haven't they got a quarterback to?
Well, that's the GM's question, not the coaches.
Yeah, but the coach has to work with the quarterback.
And they're guys like, he's got to put him in a position where they can do well, too.
Yeah, Mason, Rudolph, Kenny Pickett, Justin Field.
Russell Wilson, old, broken, Ben Rothesburg.
He's had nothing at quarterback.
And I'm not saying that it's a league trend
where these guys don't turn out.
So it's not just, I just find it odd.
I do too.
I saw a stat.
Doug Peterson has been hired,
won a Super Bowl, fired,
re-hired, and fired again
all in the time that Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game.
Oh, my.
The challenge, I really think is Kirstein,
is that he gets these teams in that aren't that good.
Well, that's the thing.
On the surface, they, they, they, they, they, they, they were not better than the Ravens.
Of course not.
If they were going to beat them, was going to have to be some by hook or by crook, some
chook, something was going to have to go sideways.
So I get it that it's what, 2016 is at the, whenever it is.
I just, I feel like this is one of those occasions where you need to just have some so, just,
just take a breath.
Because, yes, it's a bunch of, they got, they got, they got the doors blown off, but they
weren't going to beat the Ravens with the Ravens.
with the Ravens playing that way.
They pissed their pants on the way into the playoffs.
Yeah.
And they were supposed to have an elite D.
There was nothing elite about that defense.
Yes.
Yesterday.
But for Tomlin,
I feel like this one you have to just,
yes,
it's a losing streak in the playoffs and all of that.
Who are we going to be?
How good was this team?
Any of them?
Like,
when did they lose a playoff game?
They should have won.
But they were good for a while.
They were 10 and 3 and they were just coming off a win against the Ravens.
It played nobody pretty much.
They beat the Raven.
That was it.
That's the team they lost.
Yeah, I get it.
But it's like, we talked about it all year.
That schedule was so fraudulent that they played.
You did.
You made good points.
Well,
the other show we're talking to.
Yeah.
Anyway.
I would definitely think if you change Mike Tomlin in three years,
you'd be wishing you kept Mike Tomlin.
That's my feel on it.
Like Mike Tomlin find another job.
No sweat.
Oh, yeah.
Probably.
No sweat.
Yeah.
He'd find a gig.
So anyway, that's, so now, so now,
You get the Ravens, Bills fan.
I obviously live, breathe, and will die with my bills, but who don't like it.
Preferer an easier matchup.
And the stupid Houston goes to Kansas City.
Kansas City, man, they're going to get all the way to the semifinals and are still,
I haven't beaten them.
Houston's going to shock them.
I hope so.
God, I would love that.
Yep.
What's the opening line?
Fat cat, fat read, whatever.
you would call it. I love Andy
Reed. Sorry.
He would eat. We could
deal pickle dip together.
Yeah. Yeah. I almost have more respect
for what they're doing this year.
Their defense is spectacular.
They're not put, whether they, they haven't scored
30 or whatever that's that is.
They find ways to win. I mean, what
more is the mark of a champion than
not being at your best
and you still get it done. Yeah, there's some
fluke stuff too. There's some bad mispass
interference. One of that matters.
That happens almost never.
It's playoffs for them.
But they're at that position at the end of the fourth quarter for that flu.
Raiders.
Yeah.
Like they've almost lost some really bad teams.
That's why I honestly believe that if a team is, I think Houston can beat.
I think anyone could beat them.
But if they win, I'm not shocked.
That's the thing.
The chiefs can be the chiefs.
The way the Bills, Ravens, Lions look right now.
Those teams are playing better football.
Those teams look at.
So the challenge is because of the.
those six or seven games that all swung with weird calls or block kicks or crazy shit that's
like how they're at home uh they get to sit and they get a dusty team but yeah if if she just
drowned wants to play they did in the playoffs last year they'll be fine fellas it's a game day get
your helmet on the road in the uh city by the bay chicago illinois
Opening statements, presentation of McLeod law.
Let them just take the stress off your shoulders, whatever it is.
So like when you're laying there in bed at night and things pop up with your head?
Just, oh, how am I going to?
Did I put that in the fridge or is that on the counter?
Oh my gosh, that'll be off by tomorrow.
If I don't put that.
Can they help with that?
Legal, insurance, medical claims, whatever is going on in your life, get the best in the business.
They're in Calgary.
They're here for you.
Varied, diverse, a commitment to making our city.
a better place.
McLeoddashlaw.com.
And our opening statements today, we get into it on a game day.
But we probably should go back a couple days as the flames of rattled off back-to-back
victory.
Shut the front door, D.
Yep.
And we were last game we were together was the Anaheim overtime thriller.
But I was impressed with the goaltender a ton.
He's starting to take over to boys.
I was looking at it.
He has been the man a lot.
Eight of the last 11 games he started.
We talked on the last show about, or whatever it was, about the Kings and
Kings are they sitting second and they're in that division?
Well, you look at their defense and you look at giving up the fewest number of goals and all that.
Flames did a pretty tidy job defensively throughout that game.
If you just wish away all the chances they had in the first period.
First period.
Like that could have been four nothing at recess, but yeah.
I mean, the goal is.
So are you going to be willing to put some blame on Wolf?
the end of the year here. Put some blame on
when they don't pick in the top 10.
I would not put it on him.
I would put it on people. Keep putting him in that.
He's going to play well. So you
you lobby for him to play more until he wins
games and now you're saying the guys are playing him more.
I think what you're,
that's very penderesque, isn't it?
What you're asking what you're different things.
Like when you want to talk about the development of a player,
this is the best case scenario for Dustin Wolf. He said a phenomenal year,
right? But he said if they finish outside of the top 10.
We'll flush this out.
All right.
We can talk about it.
We don't have to simplify everything down to like binary nonsense.
Oh, okay.
So if you had a hope or a wish for, if you work for the flames for the development of Dustin Wolf this year, what would it be?
Look like a number one.
Get 50 games under your belt.
Proved to be a difference maker in the league at the goal time position.
I want to be confident going into next year.
He's my number one.
And if you wanted to get really greedy, you'd say not even a number one, but an elite NHL starter.
He's starting to look more like that than anything else, fellas.
It's wild how good he's been.
But yeah, if you want to go big picture and zoom out from the player development side
and just look at, okay, the next five years, how do we add potential superstars?
Well, pick it in the top 10's it.
His play alone has kept you out of the bottom 10 in the NHL.
So that's the conundrum.
That's the wrong.
That's what I'm asking.
That's what he said.
You said, blame the guys that keep starting.
No, I think if you've got after the deadline, like if you can make the playoffs, go get it.
No one thinks you can.
No one thinks you got the team on paper.
everyone's been consistent about that.
Clearly they believe more than we do, and rightfully
so. They've been greater than the sum of their parts.
They've played really, really strong
systems. They don't give up a ton
and they've had great goaltending. They work hard.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. They've been better than everyone thought.
If they get in, there's no, oh, I wish
I would have could have should have. But
there are five spots in the league
that are the spots you don't want to finish. 11th from
the bottom, 12, 13, 4th, and 50s. So there's no
playoffs and there's no top 10 pick. That's the
danger zone. So when do you start stick handling that?
I don't know.
late in the year with a month left.
So if the standings are more or less what they are now,
it's safe to probably assume that that's what is going to be
just in, just out, that sort of thing.
Would you be lobbying for Vladar games?
No, not now.
So then, or like you say down the stretch or what?
Yeah, down the stretch.
You're at the half point of the season.
If you think that this team that's played this much above themselves on paper,
do that two halves in a row,
I think there's great cause for concern.
I still think they come back to Earth.
You can't do that, though.
Do what?
Start sitting wolf.
No, I'm not saying.
I'm not saying,
if you're out of the playoff race,
you sit wolf.
But that's what I say,
say they're out with 15 games left.
Yeah.
Cooley, roll, baby.
You get two or three.
Even though Wolf, like,
alternate games, whatever, yeah.
But that's what they're doing now.
They're not alternate.
He's played eight of the last 11.
Okay.
That's the furthest thing from alternation.
What overall, it's the,
Pretty close, but he's taken over, man.
They're riding them.
How can you say they're not alternate?
In the last two and a half weeks.
Like it's been four of five, six of eight, eight of eleven, three in a row.
Coming off loss, he's played again.
It's not alternate.
You can always say, but you always say you can't just take a little snippet out of there and say this is.
11 games is a month.
I mean, if you want to ask how they're using the goalies, it's not.
Yeah, but they also missed the game on Wednesday night that they would have,
Bladar would have played, right?
They're back to back.
You'll probably see both guys next two nights, right?
Anyway, I just, you didn't answer the question.
So, ask me the question again.
The question is, are you going to be willing to put blame on wolf for screwing this up?
No, absolutely not.
Because I will.
I will pile on him.
Ask a player to not play hard.
That's the thing with this whole.
Same with coaches too.
The GM has to my head.
I keep going back to what is the position of this team.
We're riding it out with what we have and just going to find out.
at the deadline they'll either add or they'll subtract that's what my guess is unless they're like two out then they sit on their hands
i don't even know what you subtract you subtract you subtract you subtract and you stop playing
there's no lidar deal to be made especially he's not going to play just you just said he's not going to
play like someone could move a fourth and upgrade their backup for sure i don't know that that moves the
needle for you but at least you get a look at coolly before you've got them slotted to make one
way money on your team next year. You get to look at them in the
NHL level. That'd be good. Oh, it'd be good
for the flames. I just, I don't know
that a goalie deal
is there. What team would be saying, I'm going to give
up an asset to take on him. I don't know what team
needs a goal in March yet, right?
Yeah. Like, there's going to be injuries.
Either way, he's been very good at home.
Not so good on the road.
Wolfie.
Yeah. He's gone, well, at home,
11, 2 and 1.1. 1.98 goals against 936,
say percentage. Sub 2, man. That is crazy.
Of his 22 starts, only
eight have come on the road in those
eight. He's three, four and one with a three
point four eight goals against in an eight seventy-nine.
Those are not going to. He's partying on the road.
That's what it is. Oh, four
shizzle. And to be fair, like the team in front of them,
same story. You've been much better at home. With
Fla-R, it's the same thing. Tougher on the road, better
at home. It's just been a group that's
thrived at the dome for some reason, because we don't see that
often necessarily. Oh, it's that rock
us crowd.
Well, that's the thing.
It hasn't exactly.
Is that what it is?
Yes.
It's not like they're riding a 300 game shut out or sellout streak here.
I don't know.
And what is it?
Because they won the first two road games of the season.
Yeah.
And since then have four wins in 16.
Anaheim.
We just watched one in Anaheim.
Montreal and extra time.
Those are two extra time ones.
And then they won in Nashville.
Nashville.
They actually scored four of that game.
Crushed them.
Yeah.
Crushed.
So you basically have two overtime.
time victories, one against the 32nd place team at the time in Nashville and one other somewhere
else since those first.
Those are your road wins.
It feels like it's going to be a disappointing thing for some.
Because if you're the coach, you're not, you're coaching, you're judged by how your team
plays good or bad.
So Husk is not going to sabotage the roster.
God, no.
So he's going to start Wolf if Wolf is healthy and playing well.
He's not going to sit guys for the, no, the betterment of moving up a slaughter or two in the
draft.
and just the way they're with decent goal tending,
I think the story that we really defensively,
they don't get blown out a ton.
They don't give up a ton.
They're in games.
They don't give up a ton.
Their defense has been actually very,
very good for what they are competent.
Last year they had Hannafin and Tanna,
as a part of this group.
And I remember a game,
I think it was around Christmas they played Chicago.
And Jacob Marksham had to make six shutout saves,
like breakaway saves.
Yeah.
Or partial breaks.
And you're like, they don't do that anymore.
There's no there there's their systems are very good.
Well, their D is not trying to join the rush a lot of them.
So that's probably.
Yeah.
Wee's jumping up and maybe Rasmus down.
Then that's about it.
Whatever.
You have to give.
Other than the odd individual.
In general, the old halfway.
A plus coaching staffs in A plus for me.
It's not close.
Like the power play struggled early.
They fixed it.
They,
they're just getting more out of this.
roster than anyone thought they should. Nobody, like, go scour all the predictions. Nobody had them
on pace for like 90 some points. No, I think 83 was. 81 and a half. We were like squinting hard
thinking like, what would have to go right for that to happen? They could blow right past that. I mean,
you give a failing grade to Kuzmenko. And then after that, it's, I don't know how you grade Sharon
Govich, because it's not been a good year. It's probably a C minus or a D. 15 without a goal. But like,
generally speaking, like everyone else has been really good.
Really good defensively too, because the offensive, other than Huberto,
who we're raving about somewhat, because he is doing what he's supposed to as far as leading
the team in points.
But they aren't, you know, the couple years ago, everyone, the most 20 goals scores in the
NHL, like, that ain't happening.
Like Coleman last year, 30-some.
Oh, my God.
He's been fine.
He's just not going to score 30.
No, they're just playing.
It's the sum of the
parts, right? Is that the same?
Yeah. And I don't know, because we
talked about it at the start of the year about how they
finally had an identity and they were
hard to play against. I don't know if
it's the same now. They're not easy to play against.
It's not. They work and they get goals. But you know, they're
kind of consistent. Whichever line is out there
is going to play the same way.
We're probably not going to have a bunch of scoring
chances, but they're probably not going to give up a bunch
either. How many years did we just bitch and
moment about consistency.
Yeah.
And it was just like how, how, how, how could you go beat this team and play this
well and then not show up for 30 minutes here?
Like that's on the players, but also the code.
Like they're ready to play every night.
They don't lay eggs.
There's been a couple bad ones.
And every goal in the NHL, including the Vesna winners, have bad nights.
They've been really, really steady.
There have not been very many bad days.
No.
There have been.
But they got their doors blown off in Vegas and Utah and back to back games in like November.
A war game trip out east.
Pittsburgh.
Ottawa, Columbus.
Anyway, where they didn't perform well.
But even those ones, I don't know if they were horrendous.
They just lack high-end skill offensively.
So you're going to be in to lower storing tight hockey games.
Months ago, when you could have made this happen and you'd have eight more points.
For the mystery player for the unknown package, that deal I should have made.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
That number one center for nothing.
Player X.
That's right.
Yeah.
Well, maybe they have that as Rory Karens.
Oh.
We'll make his NHL debut tonight.
You want to talk about an underdog?
The Irish Fox.
Who?
He's the Irish Fox.
We got a nickname for him already.
Do you want to explain it?
Well, it sounds like an Irish name.
And he's a Fox.
And he's, yeah.
Sneaky.
Just ask the ladies.
Yeah. Foxy.
Foxy Rory.
You don't like it?
And a wolf and a fox.
I don't just like it.
I'm trying to figure it out.
that's part of a good
like wise jimaki named cheese nobody knows
but this is beautiful we're going to need this to catch on
so you know this is what they call him
what you're calling i would do my rounds dean
i got digging into things
Irish the Irish Fox what are we doing here
what
is those Irish Fox they're
no what's plural for Fox Foxes
Fiques
Fikes
Fikes
Fix.
Bigs.
And Coosemanko comes out.
No.
Ever since you,
ever since you guys stopped calling him
Kuzmankov, he's been shit.
We did call him that.
I was hoping ever since I made that bet for you
at 13 and a half goals that he started playing better,
but he's been the exact same scratchable player.
I'm doing quite well in my best.
That one is.
You owe me four pizzas.
You owe me.
Now, if you go to Bet 365, you can cash out early.
Yeah, yeah.
At less than the full payout.
Yeah, I got it.
What was our bet again?
and can I cash out early?
Can I take a fraction of that?
Yes.
Can I just do it now?
Can I eat half the hot chicken sandwich
or whatever the hell we agreed on?
Goodness gracious.
One goal?
Is that where he still won?
Uno?
Man, I don't know.
Scored in the,
either the opening game or the,
do you feel bad for him or does he care?
Like,
oh, I think, yeah.
He's got,
there's a human there.
Like, if I don't score 160 games,
I could go without scoring and I'd be like,
I'm going to get the shit.
I know.
That's the thing.
is but oh I know but he and he's got so much skill it's like this has to be uncomfortable
yeah like because you are a guy who can and has scored and prolifically it's not like you're
somebody that you're a plug that has never scored goals you've scored a bunch and now you can't
piss a drop I rookie in the NHL rookie now 26 not a baby dominated the K for all 39 goals in a
rookie season. That is incredible.
If you told me a guy was not in the NHL and came to the NHL in his mid-20s and he
could score one shy of 40, I'd be like, I don't know.
Like I don't even know Panarin did it.
I'm trying to think of an example.
Like, okay, Sergey Makarov, maybe, I don't know.
Like, we're going back decades.
He did it.
And then Rick Tockett comes in and he's a coach that wants structure and defense.
Like, eh, don't know that I can play you.
I don't know that's going to work.
He had eight goals of 43 games.
He comes here, 30 games, 14 goals.
Goal every other game.
game. Half a goal game. This is great.
That's that's another 40 goal pace.
So in his non-talket time
before this year, he's a 40 goal
score in the league, you know, on a per
yeah, on a pro-rated basis.
But I think the challenge is when you look
at what Ryan Husk is doing this year, it looks a lot more
like Rick Tocket last year.
Oh, Husk, come on. And like, I need structure.
I don't know.
Husk, let's go.
That's right.
You still got it.
But look, I don't think he can be trusted by
coaches that want structure on teams that want to win.
I think he could, I think he could, I think he could,
I think he could go score 40 on a dormant team where they don't ask him to play
defense. That's not what this team is.
I don't know if I sit on this, on this show or the, or the post game of that.
I give there again credit to Huska, because the team doesn't score.
The team has a lot of trouble scoring, Dean.
So would there be a, we're going to play Kuzmanko, even though he gives up, he doesn't
do things.
There's just, he does not.
but he gives us more of an opportunity to score than Rory Karens or the Irish fault, Kirkland,
but you know what I mean?
That would be the conventional thinking is just put up with the stuff that you don't like about his game because he may get you.
And he said, no, it's not, I'm not going to compromise what we're trying to do as a team to hopefully on a wing of a prayer get some offense out of this.
And the flip side is if you can't score four and he makes a mistake that cost you one, it hurts even more.
There is that.
All goes back to.
They are in the shit because they don't know what they're not going to throw in the towel.
Not yet.
And they,
so they're not going to max.
They can't play Kuzmankov and get him out of a funk and get him scoring to move them.
They can't play Vladar all the time because Wolfe's playing too good.
So he's not going to be an asset.
And they're not guaranteed to make the playoffs because.
They're not skilled enough.
Not quite good enough.
If you had to a mess you've made of this team, Conroy.
What an absolute disaster.
Are they closer to being in the playoffs or closer to being in that top 10?
At the end of the year.
And like,
yeah,
because today they're,
let's even just say,
say deadline time,
you have to make a decision,
even though you're probably not going to buy anyway,
but I just,
it still feels like doing the right,
and I get it.
And the argument we have it over and over.
It's a mallet to the face.
Thank you.
If you're that close and you,
You are a few goals away.
And do you owe it to the group, the city, the organization to try and get those goals that might push you into the playoffs?
I think if they're in a playoff spot, they'll be looking at.
I do too.
Especially if it's a deal or a player where you can wrap your head around.
Well, this is still part of what we're trying to accomplish.
Here's a turn.
Here's another thing.
And it's great.
This is what we do.
We get to pick little snippets that we can beat up on.
They've got how much money in cap space?
20 million?
Plenty. Lots.
Lots.
Like a real game breaker type of
and they're not using that one way or the other.
They're not using that to help them right now.
And it's great to say we're going to wait till the trade deadline.
It might be too late that.
Right?
Like you maybe that's not long enough to bring in one guy
that might score to get you over the hump.
Maybe that needs to start now.
Maybe it needed to,
you may need to make that decision.
in December before Christmas so that you weren't in a tight rope to get in.
Right?
Like, yeah.
I just don't know if you had a guy that it's like, oh, well, they'll definitely be better
than Vancouver down the stretch now, who's been missing Demko for months and who's
missing chronic for the- I'm not saying you are, then admit it and walk away.
This is the challenge.
And I think Connie will make that decision, but he's not going to rush to make it.
So I just looked at it.
But if you don't rush to make it, have you done your team a disservice?
Because they can't score goals.
They play a great system.
They're right there.
And you can't huff about, they don't score.
If he believes deep down that this is a playoff team, then yes, he's blowing it.
But if he believes deep down that this is a group playing over their skis and it's not sustainable,
then I commend them for not making that deal.
So they have 21 games to the trade deadline.
21.
It's March 7th.
How they perform in the next 21 games entirely dictates their path at the deadline for me.
And I don't think that's a huge statement.
I think we'd all agree with that.
if you have just a four-game skid in there,
you might look up and be six points out,
and all of this is very obvious.
And on the flip side,
if Demko gets hurt again and the Canucks lose five in a row,
and all of a sudden,
you're three points up on someone out of the wild card.
It's like, yeah, okay,
of course we could use some seconds and thirds
to go get some guys to help here.
So let's play that out.
Let's,
if they finish in a wild card,
which is probably,
if they're in wild card one,
season ends today, who do they play?
If they're in wild card two,
who do they play?
Oh, you're playing division leaders.
You're going to get stomp.
Vegas.
You're a playoff.
Right.
So in that respect, I just, I still think Conroy is going to.
It'll be guarded.
We look like we're in a playoffs, but are we going to go and add just like Sutter said, a waste of
eight days or whatever it is to get in jet fuel, yeah.
Fucking steamrolled by Vegas.
Vegas or Winnipeg at this point.
Maybe, you know, Dallas is on a bit of a heater here.
Look, there's, there's only good teams in the tops of these divisions.
Colorado.
That's all I'm saying is you're going to, you're going to have your hands.
But you can say that about it all the time.
time then like,
then don't go for it.
Well, and look, it doesn't mean you can't go out
a better version of Hanley
for a third rounder at the deadline.
I think everyone would be, if they're in that spot,
that's a really easy move. Oh, no, you can't trade that
third. He had a one and four chance of being
an NHL or no, like, you can do that.
And that would upgrade the roster and give you a better
chance against the Winnipeg's and Dallas's of the world.
You're not going to be favored in any of these matchups.
You're going to be, again, eight days in Jetfield, most
likely, but you also say this group's earned the right to have that improved at the deadline.
If they're in a playoffs spot at the deadline, absolutely you go ahead.
I still think that's a low probability outcome, but here we are in January.
By points percentage they're in a playoffs about today, that's wild.
So you think it's a low probability that they're in a wild card at the deadline, yes.
Or in the same territory as today.
Because I say it's a high likelihood.
It's semantics.
I think they could definitely be within two or three points of the playoffs.
I think that's really likely.
being in one, I just don't.
And that might sound crazy, but I just think.
But that's a two to three point difference.
But hang on, hang on.
Is Colorado the same caliber of team as Calgary?
No.
I don't think Vancouver is either.
And so those teams have had all the reasons of the world to not have great first
halves of the year.
The same reasons you'd believe they'd have better second halves of the year.
That's who the flames are trying to hang with.
They're not in the same neighborhood on paper as those teams.
Okay, that's fine.
But that's why I think they could be three, four points out,
but I don't think they'll be in a wild card.
Yeah, but if you're only,
three or four points out, are you throwing in a towel?
No, you sit in your hands, probably.
But if you're one point up, like, like you're really talking about a shift of philosophy
based on a four point swing.
And that's what I'm saying is that if you think you're going to be at that point
and you don't add now, that might, right?
Like, I just think if you gave them truth serum, they think that it's been a really nice run,
but that what happens to these games as we go February, March, April.
Do they get easier or harder?
But these are, you're right.
It has been and you're probably right.
that's but you better you still have to have
let's play it out where
Connie does nothing
because it's all a bit of a
Jesus we didn't think we're gonna be yeah
what am I gonna do I can't add
because I don't even even if I add we're up against
Vegas in the first round that's
gonna be tough and we weren't in a business
well we're not gonna move backwards enough
because the team's playing too well I'm just gonna sit on my hands
is that good enough? Are we have
are we I don't I you could justify it long term
I don't know.
Like I guess when it comes down to it is what kind of a feather is it in your cap to make the playoffs and get run?
Well, it's funny.
Don't discount that there's a lot of.
I think it's a significant achievement.
And don't discount.
Sorry, I'm snapping on you a little bit.
But F that.
If I'm in that room and we're fighting for a playoff spot and we got a guy that's got a under two goals against,
nobody thought we were going to the finals.
I went to the finals on three teams that weren't supposed to go.
I mean, we had Hashik and Kippersop was unbelievable.
No one knew Kippersop three months earlier, right?
Like, so if Dustin Wolf, anyway, the point being, if I'm in that room,
I don't believe that if I go to Vegas or Winnipeg that I can't beat those guys.
If you can add one thing to throw a wrench into a series, it's a Red Hawk goalie.
They have the potential to have that.
That's why I wonder if you're going to see.
Zero pressure.
You're going to see very much the same.
They're going to be right where they are today.
They'll be right where they are at the deadline.
They are who they are, I feel, at this point.
Well, we just praised them for not putting up eggs and competing.
It's not going to change.
And to the same, while Vancouver can improve,
but what if, what if they get a little bit more out of Sheringovic?
And what if the penalty kills a little better?
And if Wolf keeps playing well and starts playing more?
I think it's very realistic that they could improve some areas of their game.
they just don't have the number of areas to improve like these other teams we have talked about.
But again, it's not about...
Like, to Ms. Demco three months is way bigger room for improvement than say, oh, the penalty kill might be 10% better.
No, I, you've got this, the Vancouver thing.
And I can't say that you're wrong.
But to me, it's less about Vancouver.
It's just what they are.
They don't play Vancouver every game.
No, no.
And I'm not to ask them to beat Vancouver.
I'm just thinking that that's the team that you've got to beat in a race to the finish now.
But similarly, Vancouver,
is a long way in to just think that there's going to be a switch to flip.
That does not feel like a team that is cohesive.
That it's just injuries holding them back.
It doesn't feel right there.
No.
There's the off-ice stuff with Miller and Pedersen.
And that is the biggest unknown to me.
Because on paper, when Horonik gets back and he's in a conditioning stand to Abbotsford
and with Demco Healthy and Net, that's just way better.
When you get Tyler Myers off your top pair, playing top pair minutes, you're a way better team.
Do we have the rest of this month?
month. I threw the, uh, the schedules in there.
Because that's the other thing is who are you going to play?
There's some good hockey coming up here.
Minnesota, Washington's at or near number one.
We know what Winnipeg is.
Good.
Minnesota again, yeah.
So it, it may be as much the caliber of opponent as, as much as anything.
And the blues, the blues look kind of met out because that's the league.
You know, you're not going to play all the top teams only and you're not going to play all the
bottom teams only.
And you're not going to lose to all the bottom teams and beat all the top or vice versa.
You're going to go ahead, Ryan.
Sorry.
Well, just the blues, they look kind of mid, but if you look at them under Montgomery,
they've been a lot better.
That might be an interesting thing, too, that we've not looked at.
Who's catching the flames?
The blues could absolutely do that.
This week.
And they've added in the sense that they brought in Fowler, like, they're not.
What's their approach to things?
They're not pumping breaks.
They're like, let's go.
Yeah, that, you could argue that you should.
be going the other way, but for the last two years, it feels like they're firing
coaches and trading for guys and bringing in guys.
They like the coach they got now.
Broberg and Holloway have helped them a ton.
Holloways on absolute heater right now.
Good guy, boy.
I'm off Edmonton.
I have a career year.
Love to see it.
And now, you know, Fowler is a guy that's been in this league a long time, played a
thousandth game of that outdoor game.
That's a nice ad.
They're trying to get in.
There's a clear direction there where I think here we can play both sides of it so easily
because they're in that mucky middle.
So it's Chicago tonight.
What do we know about the Hawks?
They're having a bit of a tough season.
They've lost back-to-back games.
They are two and eight in their last 10.
They made the coaching change.
It hasn't made a huge difference.
Turns out it's a bad roster like everyone thought.
Really?
What's up with this?
He doesn't know what to play with, guys.
That's what's up.
Andrew Sorensen took over December 5th.
They've gone 6 and 11 since then.
They're winning a third of their games.
They don't get a lot of extra points.
It's a lot of regulation losses, which, I mean,
it's neither here or there.
At this point now, you may as well shit the bed the rest of the way.
Yes.
Prove your chances.
Go get Higgins.
Let's go.
Whoever.
Go get this Schaefer, whatever you want.
What were we talking to last week?
Was it Frank talking about Alec Martinez, the deal that he signed there?
They've got some gray-haired, gray beards.
in no particular order.
Taylor Hall's 33.
Felinos 37.
Martinez is 37.
Pat Maroon is playing every night.
He's 36.
We love Pat Maroon,
but the fact that Pat Maroon is playing every night
is probably a big indicator
kind of team they have.
Craig Smith,
the old used to play in Nashville.
He's still playing.
He's 35.
Wow.
T.J.
Brody.
Oh, tonight?
We saw some Brody highlights earlier this year.
it was impressive.
Broads is going to broads.
But anyway, they,
I don't know what they're going to do in that.
Marazic.
Yeah?
He plays all the games.
Again, a guy that if you need to soak up 60 games
and be very pedestrian,
you can do it.
Yeah, he was injured probably about two weeks ago.
His last four starts,
he's given up 17 goals.
Sounds like Marazic.
This is soda blonde, the other guy.
Okay.
They've been kind of splitting since mid-November.
Anyway.
I don't think you're fearful of either goalie.
No, and I don't think you're fearful of the Hawks.
You've beaten them twice already.
This is a work ethic game.
Yep.
This is a, I play professional hockey.
I need to show up and perform.
Yeah.
And if you ever with this roster thought you were above an opponent, you'll get walloped.
And that game right before Christmas that we were worried about,
it was the Hawks that should have been worried.
It was a 6-4 game, but they scored late goals and five rip early.
Like they were all over them.
Yeah.
Well, and against a team like that, that's exactly what you should do.
Let's have a really good first and put this to bed because.
Yeah.
Chicago wants to go home.
It looks like it'll be Wolf again, too.
So that's three straight now.
It already is three.
That'll be four.
Is it?
Yeah.
He lost two, I want to say.
Nashville and then has played the Anaheim and LA game since.
And that will be nine of 12.
Nine.
So I thought you'd be going with Rick Flair there, but all right?
I could if you'd like.
Please.
I'll just need to call it up.
I'm sick of talking about these guys.
Woo!
Similar, you know?
Full moon last night, by the way.
The Wolf Moon, it's called.
The first full moon of the year.
Really?
It's great the day before the wolf moon.
We'll see if he's good the day after the wolf moon.
Shoveler took a picture of the moon last night.
She said there was rings around it.
She's an astrologically, she really like.
Gifted.
Yeah.
She's a moon reader.
I'll leave that alone.
Moon, moon writer.
530 start.
I think this started with the conversation about the Irish Fox and really took off.
No, it's the Wolf Moon.
Irish Fox Wolf Moon.
Yeah, it is a prime game.
If you're watching, that means stop bouncing around on cable.
It's not good.
Prime.
Did a good job.
It's fun.
Different.
Audio is really good.
I like the audio.
I like the audio.
I know that's the main thing I notice is you feel the crowd more.
You're better into it.
And you know what?
Even though there's no one talking, I don't mind the half hour pregame.
You just watch warmups.
I don't know why that's none of the other channel.
Yeah.
Oh, you got seven channels all showing the same thing.
You couldn't have like a warm up video for me?
Not bad.
idea.
Ryan.
There's no.
There's Nause.
That's been good.
Get me the F out of here,
Conjard.
I don't think he's.
His play would
not suggest that he's
packed her in.
What do you want?
I'm just saying,
it's probably not much else.
No.
Chicago on a Monday.
Karen's excited for the kid.
I don't mind the,
this is a good place.
The Irish Fox?
Do you remember two years
ago, Rhett,
when there was a
different version of the Irish Fox and they were heading into Chicago as a favorite team.
They were flat as ass.
Wasn't Walker Doer.
Rocker doer was close.
They had Jacob Pelletier with the team just hanging around, hanging around.
And Darrell refused to debut this kid on the road against the team where you knew they'd need
a bit of energy burst.
Oh, and they were the shits.
I love Darrell.
Daryl's going to Hall of Fame.
Darrell's a great coach.
But we can't like pretend he didn't make some huge mistakes that year, as all coaches do in
years they probably get fired but all you need was a little joll to energy and you go into chicago play
flat look awful and you didn't let the well maybe belchay was at the old viaggar triangle running around
there's a lot of trouble i was going to play you kid but i can't now you know the message it's into the team
if you're all doing a bunch of booze and brorodomoops wheel and coogs can't put you in pelche's moves
oh i bet you he's got some serious bros you see him kissing everybody on the bench he's french
he's been hanging out with jack yeah am more
my man
is that skunky guy
um paletti he tight
peppy le pew pepe
pepe
uh
yeah
yeah
l'amu
can you show that
cartoon anymore
because he's kind of
some rapy vibes
there from old
Trump's back in
there's no such thing
as canceling
yeah
let's go
it's good to know

good trump impersonation

in a moment
Want to tell you about the Maud Medical Clinic?
Yeah, because I keep getting up in the night.
Be aroused.com.
Now, when you say getting up, what do you talk about?
I'm going for a piss.
Okay, well, that's not good.
That's not good.
Because if you were getting up in the middle of the night the other way, that is good.
Oh, your pelvic floor is probably in great shape.
You don't need to be doing that.
I don't like doing.
Optimize your sexual function.
It's all kind of tied together in that, um, the pelvic floor.
That region.
Yeah.
Medical therapies to optimize your life in the bedroom.

So it's not just,

Pyronez disease,
I don't know a lot about it.
It doesn't sound good.
When fibrous scar tissue forms
in the deep tissues
under the skin of the penis,
it can happen a lot.
It can happen to quite a few people.
Many people it's happened to.
Health Canada indicated

if you're a male and there's some things that you just think you got don't be a male
I'm just getting older, I guess.
Be smarter.
Women go get this stuff looked at.
Men, we just pretend it doesn't happen.
That's right.
Because we're dumb.
Yeah, we're dumb.
Be aroused.c.a.c.
is the website for that.
And it's a chair?
The M. Salad chair, yeah.
Wow.
It's big.
I feel like you're there.
You're on a throne.
Yeah.
I'm going to go sit on.
I'm intrigued.
I'm intrigued.
Got your attention.
Lots to get to you.
I would guess in the Pinder report.
Ha!
Big week.
Playoff football.
Wolves for Howling.
Yeah.
Got Phil Kessel's back, boys.
Nice.
You're going to be excited about that.
And we got some dumb shit, man.
We really do.
Fantastic.
Proud of it.

And they present.
Thank you, Dean.
Let's head over to Flamesnation.com.
See what is cooking?
Oh, look at this.
A little round table you referenced last week.
Our boy, Bobby, Germany, went and pulled the great.
minds around Flames Nation and us and included our thoughts on the Calgary Flames.
First half. You never called me. You don't get emails in your phone of the 24-25 season.
Let's not pretend you were going to actually fill out answers.
Be the victim here. He ignores you now.
I'm just curious. Yeah.
It's like people asking Dean to leave his house. You get knows for five years.
We could ask you. Like we could get the questions and ask them to you on air.
Do it now because I'll do it after the Pinder.
Yeah, that sounds great. I'll find the email and then we'll, uh, it's a good read.
see, Ryan. Thanks, Gene. Here's the thing about the
standings with Calgary flames. If the playoffs
were to end, if they had a
Movid, the modern Ovid, and they had to wipe
out the rest of the season, they're in. Like COVID? I don't know
what it would be. The next one. Oh. This is it. Look at this. If they started today,
they're in by points percentage. Screw you, Vegas. We're coming for you. Vegas, Calgary. Road
trip. Winnipeg, Colorado. Again, oh, remember the
tissue from last year.
Oh, boy.
It's got to be aroused.
Minnesota Dallas.
I would sound fun.
What, Norm green?
Norm green rematch.
You took our team.
We got a new one.
Find you handy.
Josh Green.
Kings and Oilers again.
That would be the fourth year in a row.
That's wild stuff.
Out in the east, Washington, Columbus.
Toronto, Ottawa.
Love that.
Battle of Ontario.
I would be happy for Columbus to get in.
It would be great.
Washington has been a,
great surprise in a way.
Both great stories, yet not reaching for the clicker for some reason.
Carolina, Jersey, it'd be good.
That's the Battle of Dougie Hamilton and Florida, Tampa.
Battle of Florida, yes, yes, yes, yes.
That would be fun.
I don't think it would.
Panthers are tune them in.
Well, it's a bloodbath when those teams play.
Anyway, sorry.
So they're in.
By playing, put standings back up, Jack.
Points per cent.
Pep, a pip.
Top 10.
They got a game in hand on Vancouver.
their one point back.
Beat him.
It is January bleeping 13th.
And they're in by points percentage.
Nobody saw this coming.
You know, you have failed the good people of Calgary and the Lames Nation fans.
I continue to.
Because your disdain for the Canucks has not been strong enough.
You have the opportunity here.
You buy points percentage.
You're above.
And you're saying that our squad can't,
and you're willing to just give them this birth into the,
In a way, he's putting more, he's got faith in them.
Yes.
Healthy, how good they're going to be.
He's cheering.
They're going to be great.
I need you to be right.
Do you know the people that cheer for that team are losers?
They are.
I need you to be right.
Huh.
Because this is part of something bigger.
You said, as one of your bold predictions this year,
the Canucks would knock off the Oilers in the playoffs.
I need them to do that.
Yeah, you can't go back to that.
I need that.
That's, you're grasping it.
Strowsy.
That's a red.
That's not a right.
The only way Connor leaves is if this is a total
cluster this year. You be you and you start
shit talking that team.
Shit talking to the oiler still.
You're all the help you get to be the oil.
You're backhandedly staying. The flames suck is what
you're saying. They've been
far better than any of us ever could have imagined
they deserve all the credit they're getting possible.
The old, right? He's a
missing.
Twisting words.
Now, for the flames, something's a lot too.
Have you noticed what happens when one goal he plays?
and then what happens when the other bowling place?
Oh, now he's going to take cheap shots.
You're not taking cheap shots at the Canucks
and you're just full barrel.
Poor Dan Vlodar.
These are the facts.
I'm not fabricating them.
They're playing at a 112 point pace.
Poor Dan was taking on way tougher opponents
to start the season.
They were given puff points to...
Like LA the other night.
That's a good team and...
I don't know, we'll play.
He's playing at home all the time.
Lately.
73 point page.
That's where you guys thought this team would be.
How did the start of the year ago?
Poor Dan throwing them
to the wolves.
I see what you did there.
Only eight of those games
have been on the road
for Wolf.
Anyway, good for you.
I mean, it's just wild
to think that a group
that, you know, the unbiased sports books,
not fans, not people in the room.
They had them pegged for 81-ish points.
He's playing at 112 point pace
with a rookie called or eligible goal.
And he's not good enough to win your playoffs here.
Tip of the cap to that young fellow.
You're all over the man.
It's amazing to watch.
Just come populated right now.
Let's look at the schedule.
We'll see if this constrain.
Populated?
They're all, uh, they're on the road.
Six of the next seven boys.
Oh, dear.
Road's not been kind of them, but they did win in Anaheim their last road game.
It's where the Hawks tonight on prime.
Rubber meets the road.
Yeah.
Okay.
Hit the road, Jack.
New Jersey.
Uh, there's St. Louis for two in a row.
That's going to be weird hanging out in St.
Louis for a couple days.
You'd like that to be your back-to-back,
then you could spend more time in Chicago.
Windy City.
You did ask you that a few weeks ago.
You didn't say much.
Go to the Budweiser deal.
See the Clydesdales?
No thanks.
All right.
Stinky horses.
They're majestic.
They're majestic.
I got that cool arch.
Ever been up there?
That arch is not cool.
It's kind of cool.
It's not, no.
You've been in it?
It's terrible.
That says it's terrible.
Well, suck on that St. Lou.
So how does it work?
Because it's, I mean, it's like, is it some kind of a special elevator?
It's a big elevator.
The Luxor in Vegas is the inclinator.
The elevators go at the angles.
Okay, you're done.
I'm working it out my brain.
We'll get back to you in a moment.
Dean's going to load up that midseason roundtable question there for you.
Amazon game tonight, reminder 530 start.
So don't be flipping channels.
It's not on a channel.
It's on streaming service.
Go get it.
And only three games tonight, so you don't need to flip.
There's a football game on.
But, you know, multiple screens.
Football games start.
Chicago looks like this, boys.
We'll get to your football in a moment.
Chicago, who are you playing?
What do you, what do you, with the, yeah.
Line up?
Yeah.
Tyler Bertuzzi, top line.
Ilya McKeever top line.
Felino Dickinson, Taravine, and second line.
Doc Mazar, Reichel.
Okay.
Hall on the fourth line.
What's he doing there?
They had both docs?
They did.
Well, not the same time, but yeah.
drafted him both, I believe.
Hall Donato Maroon.
Donato's scoring goals lately, hasn't he?
Bertuzi's turned it up a little bit here.
Getting the Bedard treatment.
Butard just had a nine game point street come to a close, I think in Edmonton.
So he's been better.
At three against Cadbury when they played in that.
That Allen character.
I was going to say.
They have some goats, some old dudes, but they do have some, like,
Nolan Allen's 21.
Is Kaiser playing?
Yeah, Nazarian.
is 20,
Bernard's 19,
Doc 22.
It's coming.
They're not there yet.
And Louv Shank,
uh,
their first rounder,
they took second overall,
uh,
the Belarusian defense from playing in Michigan State.
He's not there yet either.
So,
you know the answer.
I don't know,
just here's trouble on the,
Alex Vlasic,
a lot of people really like him.
He's big and strong.
Yep.
Yeah.
Mark's bro.
That's,
that's the team.
Marozick will start in front of them.
Brissua has been dealing with that.
What did you say?
A scrotel,
uh,
Um,
hematoma.
Hmm.
I don't want that.
He's been out most of the year.
Or the last six weeks.
So Roy Cairns makes his debut, as we've noted.
What is Fox?
Was it Irish Fox?
Yeah.
Like if we were going to get a sound effect for that.
I'll get it to you.
What does the Fox say?
That's probably the one to go to and it's really annoying.
NHL News, Connor Hallibuck, still good at stopping Pucks, boys.
Yeah.
At one point in the weekend, his record was 26, 6 and 2.
right six shutouts as many shutouts as regulation losses that's a tidy tidy
half season and then remember last year the numbers maybe not as tidy but we're still
strong and then got to round one against Colorado and let in six a night he was unreal
last year and then he was like no no I'm playing great hockey you're like this guy is so deep
in his own head yep he's not playing great hockey he's telling everyone's play grauchy this is
he's going crazy that's good for him uh and good luck in your upcoming series against the abs
And would he be the starter for the four nations, the Yanks?
Hell yeah.
Got him, Ottinger, Demko's been hurt, so he's not in the mix.
Swayman will be there.
That's four guys better than anyone we got.
Phil Kessel, I'll get the update.
Speaking of Americans.
Okay, like, before we start here, this doesn't look like he's.
I'm learning how to say Irish Fox and.
Well, let's put it to the mic.
That's too long a video.
Shut up.
She's hard.
Can't even shut it off.
I got a virus.
Go, Ryan.
Phil Kessel, Dean.
Yes.
Let's see what he's up to.
Okay.
Hey, everyone.
I'm giving away three free entries
tonight to my poker tournament.
Oh, I'm at 7 p.m. on WPT Global.
Message me your favorite poker hand and why.
What?
And I will post the winners.
Good luck.
This is so.
I thought he's coming back.
I like getting a 3-8.
Yeah.
The two.
and seven, that's the hollow Calgary.
And then two aces and a king on the flop.
I love that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Thanks.
Thanks,
Phil.
Sorry,
but.
So I got to pay to play poker with you.
Yeah,
I'm not sure I'm into that.
Doesn't he have money?
Oh,
he made so much money.
Yeah,
like he's gambling all the time.
Hey,
maybe he's doing what he loves.
He always.
Promos for,
for poker companies.
That guy always did what he was going to be pushed around.
It's like tonight,
three games only.
You said it,
Dino.
Let's say.
have a peek at the other two. We've talked to nausea about the flames and hawks,
Panthers, flyers, all right. That's got a little bit of grit in there.
And we've seen a lot of the Kings and Oilers in the spring. Here's a regular season version
as the Kings continue their past year, Alberta. Oilers actually nearly got shocked by
Chicago the other day. Well, they don't three nothing, three one, came back one.
Kings will be looking to get back in the right foot after a loss of Calgary? Sure.
Could be a good one.
All right, NFL football was unreal.
Wild card weekend, a lot of football.
Well, hang on.
Some of the games weren't as unreal as we thought.
They're always good on wild card weekend.
Well, last night was sensational.
We'll get to that.
Here's what we have next weekend.
And this is what got Brett,
waking up in the middle of the night
with that weak pelvic floor that he's got.
It's not only the pelvic floor,
but also the Ravens coming to Buffalo,
630 next to the very pecky.
It's a very pecky beak.
Putting it right in the smart.
It took us there.
Jesus.
What wonder he's moving so quick.
Hey.
Oh, now.
No, no, no, no.
There is a game tonight, as you can see in the bottom left.
It's the winner of the Rams and the Vikings will go to Philly.
They looked good in dismantling the Packers.
Houston goes to Kansas City.
Do us a favor.
Be a hero.
Prove the chiefs of frauds.
Does everyone share your disdain for the chiefs?
Yes, pretty much.
I think they're the new Patriots.
Jack, can you back me up on that?
Yeah, I hate them.
Thank you.
And the Washington,
it's been a while
but in a thrilling night game
they win they'll go to Detroit
it's been a while
it's been a while
stained
maybe yeah
it's a creed nickelback era
feels like it
been a while
been a way
that game was back and forth
Jaden Daniels was unbelievable
and you know that
total dickhead owner
that had the team forever
for 20 years
zero playoff wins
this is year one
I'd love to see that
and oh yeah by the way
this was the play that like sealed the wind bananas that is like a 320 pound defensive end trying to tackle a quarterback somehow daniels delivers a forearm and casually saunters for the first down didn't like the call i don't know how you don't well i mean look daniels is special that that's a hell of a play to the point of the tweet how many quarterbacks are escaping this and converting on third i don't think many
you're still playing though maybe maybe mohomes he would do it maybe alan maybe lamar that's
about it end of list yeah impressive stuff what else we got on the the manders okay this is good
on january 6th 2006 alex oveston scored the 25th goal of his career that was his rookie year
the next night the then redskins would beat the bucks in the playoffs the commanders just had
their first playoff wins since then.
OV, meanwhile, has scored 848 goals in between those Washington playoff victories.
Damn.
Yeah.
So what, what this is telling us, it's been a long time.
It's been a while.
Been a while.
In a while.
Go get that song, Jay?
We're allowed to play this one.
Why can't we play the music?
It would be so.
In a while.
Packer's highlights.
We got any Packers fans.
Oh, Wolverine.
He's McPackers.
Is he?
Yeah.
Oh,
it's good to see it.
He's a travel on a ton.
So here we go.
Turn it up, Jack.
Colors.
That's good.
Bob's got hurt.
Yeah.
Watson was already out.
Yeah.
Everyone was hurt by the end of that.
Here's Jacobs.
Prong.
All right.
That's going to do that.
Steelers,
how we feel?
Jack's been sending me like AI created.
Yeah.
AI created Mike Tomlin working at your drive-thru and remember Jack Russell Wilson
begging for change on the street court sending me all these AI images he's absolutely gone
badass crazy he's not sleeping he's just spite bleeping the Steelers here what do we got on
the Steelers you got something oh yeah the fans are fighting of course oh a lot of jacks
lock the yellow oh oh yeah he was a coat a shirt to the face it was once there's a kick
Up the charges.
Things are usually over.
Now, was that the,
what could have happened?
Was that the,
we should have kept Kenny Pickett
or what was the fight over there?
Fields is better than Russ.
Okay, can you go back to that right there,
right off the start?
Because that is an awkward,
okay, the guy kind of behind the second,
the guy that's knocked down right here.
Look at his approach to that punch.
Like, you're right shit-faced.
You're hopping.
He's doing the 90-degree swing.
He's trying to close.
Loz line him? What are you doing?
A cobblestone doesn't feel good when you land on either, Dean.
And then dude, but then so start it again.
Now watch number 80.
Yeah.
He's going to catch him.
Now, you're in a great spot, but then he falls down.
Yeah, 90.
Yeah.
And then you're down again.
Oh, and then he takes me.
He really didn't follow that up.
Not well at all.
Cobblestone.
Oh, yeah.
That boot to the head did not miss.
That's always a decisive.
Meanwhile, look at camera guy here,
hand in his pocket.
Just chilling.
Cash.
Like, at least I got the money line.
Oh, there we go.
There's Jack.
I mean, it's stupid to fight, guys.
Dude, I'm going to get so many plays on this real.
Okay.
Tonight, Rams, Vikings, one left in Wild Card weekend.
A Monday nighter from, well, it was supposed to be LA.
That's obviously not happening.
It's in Arizona.
The second Los Angeles teams that will have a lot of distractions away from the game
in a playoff game.
and playing against some very good Vikings team, by the way.
Who looked at their worst potentially in the final game of the regular season with a chance to win a buy.
I'm fascinated to see how this looks, Dean.
I am excited for it as well.
You got the odds if you want them.
We'll just put them right up.
Like I said, I've kind of been excited for all of these games.
And then it's kind of left a little bit.
It's still better than not having a team.
It's way better.
What did you say?
Minus two Vikings as the road favorite.
And I think they're minus one.
And then they changed the venue.
and let's throw the odds up, Jack,
so we can really get into it here, right?
One in four start for the Rams.
I don't know people thought about how.
Well, remember, they were going to trade Stafford.
It was Seattle and all of the Niners and maybe even Arizona
can win this.
No, it was the Rams.
Pittsburgh.
That would be good.
It's distract.
Oh, I thought he was ordering pizza.
I had all the odds for all the games.
Which would have been fine.
but those are for next weekend actually.
So this is good.
Okay.
So it's moved.
I just moved to two and a half this morning.
It's now at two.
So it's moved back.
Okay.
Thank you.
So that's telling you where we're at.
It's been balancing.
Pay attention to it.
47 and a half.
We have a bet three six five segment later.
We will make our pick.
Ooh.
And tomorrow we'll recap wildcard weekend.
See you knew what they were talking about.
Ew.
I don't like that idea.
Yeah.
I think I'm 500.
Well, there's five games played.
That's impossible.
Never mind.
I need to win.
We don't need to win some math.
Odds for next weekend.
We can throw that up. I think we do have that one.
So we know three of the games. The winner of tonight's game will go to Philly.
We obviously don't have odds for that yet.
Eight point favorites are the chiefs at home. That makes sense.
Eight and a half for the lions at home to the manors. That makes sense.
And yet one of those games ain't like the other ones.
A spread of one point the bill's favorite at home suggesting they would be dogs in a neutral side game.
Ret Warner, how are you feeling about the bills and the Ravens?
The bills are good.
Very good. Problem being, so are the Ravens.
It's going to be a dandy.
I wonder do you think after the game is played,
the pundits and sports writers will have thoughts on who the real MVP should be,
whether it's Lamar or Alan?
No.
Or maybe if there will be any of that talk coming in.
Only time we'll tell.
Yeah.
We got a meeting in the newsroom.
Yeah, the news director wants somebody to talk about how Lamar and Alan, they've been real good.
The MVP kind of top two all year.
And now they're playing each other.
Can I vote after this game?
Well, it'd be freaking Allen because I didn't cash out.
Oh, yeah.
I think it's Alan, although Lamar has been very good.
I don't know that.
But the votes had to be in already.
I would think they would.
It's done.
A big shout out to Canadian Nick Taylor who won the Sony in Hawaii.
Let's go.
This is on 18.
He looks like he's out of it.
There's going to be a playoff unless he will hang on now.
He does chip in on 18.
That is wild.
That's to get to a playoff.
The putty makes in the playoff is short.
He's got my hat on.
And inconsequential.
Here's the thing about Nick Taylor.
You might have remembered him making a dramatic long putt to win a tournament?
The Canadian Open last year.
He bombed in like an 80-footer.
His last three wins.
on tour have all come in playoffs.
So when Nick Taylor is in a playoff,
here's what he's done.
Birdy, birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie,
birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie, what?
Playoffs.
Exactly.
Guys, a stud.
Congrats on your fifth tour victory, another playoff.
Ice water in his veins.
Damn right it is, Dean.
It's Canadian glacier water in his veins, eh?
Congrats, Nick.
Boy, Nick.
Nick.
Nick.
You like hot pot, Dean?
Can't get enough of it, Ryan.
What about hot pot if the guy eating it pretended to be Trump?
Ask me so much, do you like hot pot?
You know what?
I'm the king of hot pot.
Nobody knows hot pot more than I do.
Today, we're in Chongqing, but we're eating Chau San hot pot.
What do we have here right now is that we have a whole plate of nicely cut,
best part of beef.
They say you can just put it horizontally, and that shows us.
it out good it is. Look at this tremendous pink. It's so sticky. It's so nice. 10 seconds.
We're going to rinse it now. One, two, three, four, five. I know how to count. It's okay. It's okay.
When I say it's okay, it's okay. It's fresh. It's tender. It's ready for you. You know what?
As my distinguished fans, you should take the first buy. It's for you. I got five different.
sauce because I'm huge
I can dip in each one of them
like this
that is how I enjoy
Chowson hot pot
is Trump basically like the new
Christopher Walkin that everybody
has a Trump impression
for gross
oh it's
hot pot is unbelievable
I was in China I had hot pot real
hot pot and then hot pot
struck again
yeah came back to get me
I don't know if
I've ever had it, to be honest.
It's awesome.
I've done the
parvachy thing where you
barbecue the stuff, but not the,
uh,
you like crab?
Crap?
Crap?
Crack?
No.
Like,
Rett had crab this week.
Crab.
There's a lobster he had.
I get lobster.
You got the video.
Your brother?
Deter?
Who do we got there?
Oh.
Oh.
Did he think that thing was cooked already?
Why do you play with the knife?
Oh.
That's, uh, that's der for sure.
I mean, and you know what?
Credit to the crab, he's, he's going to take that knife and put it right through my friggin' brain.
Self defense.
Come here, you bastard.
That's why you leave those bands.
Yeah.
The hell you do?
I don't know what he's doing.
That's silly goose.
People you run with her out.
I wonder sometimes.
You guys like dumb jokes?
But what if you had a really huge audience to laugh at them?
How much does a rainbow weigh?
Not much.
they're pretty light.
Did you know, rain doesn't fall?
Rain drops.
Why does Snoop Dog carry an umbrella?
Fo drizzle.
See, it would take me a long time to get tired of that bit.
That guy could put two of those out a day.
I'm going to watch every single one of them.
It's the audience.
It's beautiful.
Fo drizzle.
We've all been bored at work.
I fell asleep last week.
You did fall asleep, yeah.
Was that dregs?
Yeah.
We pretended not fall asleep.
I was fighting the sleep, but you guys were painful bored.
Right.
Yeah, we're talking about deferred salary or something idiotic like that.
Cap hits.
I think we got something to do with board at work here.
I don't know.
Oh, yeah.
That's what's what you do.
You got to come up some games at work.
These guys in the warehouse, they get bored too, Red.
But they come up with gains to keep themselves away.
You know, it's a good thing.
You got to put it.
It's good.
It's going to get COVID.
Yeah, we're going to pay it, but you just have to come in.
We have no work for you to do.
No, no masks.
If you're the boss.
What are we doing here?
It's a world record, I hope.
Wow.
What are you thinking?
Look at the background.
This takes hours to do.
Yes.
Ellis.
And then it's going to be hours to clean it all up.
Yes.
I hope you better have.
world record.
I don't know if I'm impressed.
A hell of a government
a hell of a devil in a while.
Just don't do this in the first period.
They get upset.
I mean, we're,
yeah,
this is got to be a place that makes sense, right?
Because that's,
that's a palettes.
Look in the background.
It's a wooden pallets.
Yeah.
And it's a kind of palettes.
Peltz are.
Those are like a lake.
Those are high and.
It's a lot of good.
Good look, everyone.
Again.
How they hire?
Yes.
If you want half days,

We talk about it all the time.
So dangerous.
Well,
it's the fame and Olympics that you're going to do.
All that.
Anyway,
we're not all athletes like you,
but we commend you for your.
Congratulations.
Thanks,
that's your pinned report on Monday.
Appreciate it.
Who shot that video,
Jack?
Was he with you?
I was RJ.
Arge.
Arge.
Arge.
Yeah.
Northwest Automol Online VillageHonda.com,
the pre-owned inventory, top floor.
If they don't have what it is that you're kind of
after, well, we're kind of looking for an old school bus.
School bus.
Well, we're part of the Wood Automotive Group.
Let's check the database.
Let's look through the other dealerships and maybe because we don't have
an old school bus here at Village Honda,
but maybe we can probably dig one up and I bet you they would.
It's an odd request, but we'll look into it.
We'll look into it.
Let's go grab a coffee.
We'll take a look around.
Village Hont,
all makes all models all budgets worth the trip yeah northwest automa did you ever try on those
helies did you ever wear a pair no god no either of them ew ew they were big are they still big do you see
kids i'm not at the rink as much anymore kids still wheeling around they ban them really they got banned
from malls and things like that there was just everyone was running around into freaking nashie
old people.
Well, you can't play street hockey in Calgary, so.
Is that true?
What?
It's a bylaw.
Is it?
I don't know.
But did somebody tell you.
Yes, it is.
I'm not saying you're wrong.
I'm just saying everyone would ignore said bylaw.
Let's go.
A very high pitch there.
Well, I get well, and I hear it.
And I feel it.
And I feel it.
Didn't Don Cherry go on some wicked rant when they got banned in like
Messasaga or something?
I love it.
these people
it does feel like one of those things
where you just ignore
you just know you just let's everybody take a beat
what are we talking about kids in the street playing hockey
is a day there's a lot of things that are dangerous
let the kids play street hockey
and if you're driving and you see a net
you know we do it's stupid
we're going to do this
this is Rett's questions

They do a lot.
They're good people.
You're like, I would want that. That's good.
So nice.
Nice dinner out of Jersey that signed.
Like, hell yeah.
So, uh, Rett's questions, a presentation of hearing
loss clinic. And Bob
Germany? Kind of.
Number one, Rhett,
which player or storyline has been the
biggest pleasant surprise this season?
I do want me to... I do
want you to answer. Yeah. What you think. Well, I would, it has to be the
goal. Okay, can you expand?
Wolf. Nice expansion.
Not Vladar, Wolf. What is it about
is it... That's not the question.
Less is more for sure.
Which player or storyline has been the biggest disappointment?
Cousy.
It's going to be tough for that.
I don't need to even expand on that one, Dias.
It's kind of, yeah.
He's failing.
We've talked about both ad nauseum.
Yeah, that's true.
Who's been your favorite player to watch?
I'll say the kid that just got injured, Zari.
What has been your favorite moment of the first 41 games of the season?
The comeback against Vancouver to start the year.
Game one.
Tone setter.
that's what I had.
Really?
Mathis stands up for the Roondog in the first period, then scores a goal,
then they get to overtime, Zeri with the highlight reel.
Grady Halich.
Game one.
What about the rest of the 40 games?
Any good?
Will Craig Conroy make any trades between now and the deadline?
Yes.
Will the flames make the playoffs, barely miss, or finish in the bottom 10 of NHL stand?
I believe it'll be that middle portion.
I don't like that.
I don't either.
It's a big pain.
I know.
Flames fans should be very weathered for it, though.
Well, what's the mucky middle peak pain?
The flames fans should start voicing their concerns and get some Conroy answers because what the hell's going on around?
Chips in or cash out.
Let's go, boys.
Don't be teasing us, fella.
With all your promise of asset management.
And here's the thing.
Flings fans are conditioned to just missing the playoffs.
Much like Bears fans.
What they've never been.
What they've never been conditioned for is losing a pick in the teens
versus keeping it in the top 10.
It's the first top 10 protected pick.
We could not keep on a hand.
We had like, what are you going to do?
We don't have a time machine.
This is what Craig Conroy inherited.
It's going to be a tough one for Pinder.
Because at some point, the time is going to get to it.
They're not going to fall into the top.
top 10 or the bottom 10, whatever you, and that pick's going to be gone.
It's going to be a tough day.
So I'll get the sad music ready.
What percentage chance do you, would you give them to finish bottom 10?
10.
1 in 10.
Okay.
I, again, we can do math.
I just, I feel like the next 41 are going to be very similar to the first 41.
And if anything, they might improve.
I feel like there's maybe room.
Wolf might play more.
If Wolf plays more.
They're missing his area, but we don't know how long.
Yeah.
But they were also without a Sharon Govich.
not the East on much.
It's just little things that I can't, I don't see a huge dip coming.
And today, again, how many-
The road's been tough, six to seven.
If they can get through this stretch, I'm kind of with you.
Yeah.
Chicago, San Jose, Nashville, Buffalo.
Those teams aren't good.
Anaheim.
Seattle.
I'm saying in the bottom, like, not only do you have to crater.
You need some teams to get by you.
Yeah, like who's coming up, St. Louis?
There are four points.
to a top 10 pick.
How many teams?
They're 15th.
Eight.
Yeah.
Well, one of them, St. Louis, that could happen.
Montreal is on absolute heater.
Played much better than them the last two months because they have that horrid start.
Detroit's turning around under the new coach.
Ottawa looks legit.
Columbus red hot.
Did you see what Detroit's doing with Todd McClellan?
And that's a team that's...
They are seven and one with McClellan.
Seven in a row.
last night, four goals in the first seven minutes and 53 seconds.
And I don't know what does coaching matter?
In the eight games with McClellan behind the bench,
the power play has scored 14 times.
Jeez.
He has,
maybe it's a fluke,
but it looks as though he has revamped that power to the man that runs the power
play.
Man.
I would think you.
Alex Tongue for those of you.
Tangs.
Tangs got smarter eight games ago.
Maybe he's allowed to do what he wants to do.
He doesn't have some dumb ass.
Someone tweeted.
Maybe.
Why did they wait so long to fire a little on?
Yeah.
In hindsight, yeah.
But nobody thought they'd reel off seven in a row.
Yeah.
Seven and one.
That's a good little new coach bump.
Well, and all of a sudden in the east, what are they?
You're talking three points out of the playoffs for them?
Yeah.
Great move by Stevie Y.
Pulling all the right strings.
Always on top.
It's a mastermind.
Never been doubted.
Tampa beat Pittsburgh yesterday.
Coutcherov.
20 goals for the 10th time.
That sounds good.
And then you realize that also yesterday,
Ovi had 20 for the 20th.
Yeah.
Consecutive.
He's older,
right?
Consecutive.
It's not crazy to think that's,
oh,
I mean,
listen,
it's a long time to play.
I was just going to say,
only one guy,
that Cooch is going to go 20 years in a row with.
That's it.
That's it.
That's it's got 40.
40 in a row.
240,
Gordy.
Vegas beat the,
uh,
be the,
the wild. Mark Andre Fleury. Emotions
running. Didn't play.
Running hot at the, he was teary-eyed
after the game. Too emotional.
They wouldn't start him. So emotional, baby.
Every time I think of you.
Bill Custison's
been leaking.
Senators over the stars, three to two,
stars had one seven in a row. How about those
sends? I like him.
Levi-Marolin. Yes.
Levi. Because everyone thought to be the Anton
Forsberg show.
with Omar Kurt, who's skating, but not back, maybe next week.
Would you call him 501?
Levi? I don't know that I would.
No, it's Finn. He's American.
Buttonfly.
This is kind of a thing with the center. Now it's been a couple games.
Patrick Leem comes out of nowhere, gets red hot.
The hamburger.
I thought you were going to tell me Patrick Leelim was back.
No, just what?
The senator's, a goalie takes over the net, and,
no rhyme or reason, but then starts winning a whole bunch of games.
Now it's just back-to-back wins here for Maryland.
But it's four games.
He's been really tidy.
Taking the net from Forsberg and then when Omar gets back,
we'll see what happens, but you probably send him down again.
I thought it would have been mad Sogard.
You beat the flings a couple years ago.
They're not trading for a goalie.
There was some thought, I'll go get Vladar.
No, no, they're good.
For now, at least.
Ducks beat the canes.
Three, two was.
Ducks beat the canes.
In OT, Cutter. Cutter Goach with the O.T.
You okay?
I hurt you like you.
Rod.
Oh.
I'm like Roch and Rod's team lose.
I was fine with it.
He's a big Washington guy.
You're confused about it was Eric Stall night, I think.
And is he still play?
No.
Cutter Goce finally played that game back in Philadelphia.
Remember he said, screw it.
I'm not talking to these guys anymore.
They trade them one for one for Drysdale.
Got booed mercilessly the entire.
higher game, Drysdale scored in the contest. Best atmosphere they've seen since a non-playoff
just as good as it gets, apparently in Philly fans were all over them.
Chanting bleep you cutter for long stretches during the game. I don't think it's all on
cutter. I think there's other people to be playing. I like it. Hey, I'm all four of that environment and
that attendance. I'm not saying it's. Did you see the video that came out of the Eagles Packers game
yesterday? Fight. Not a fight. Damn. But there's a, uh, Frank.
No.
Oh.
AJ?
No.
There is a fan, a Packer fan, female,
cheering in the stands.
Yeah.
And I would have brought the video, but again, it falls into the C-bomb territory,
which I don't feel like.
Oh, that's not your thing.
That's his thing.
Well, yeah, it's his thing.
I don't say.
The girl's like, yay.
And I think the play was when Jacobs just looks like he's in for the touchdown.
They actually rule him down at the one, and he's cheering.
He's basically, it's not a touchdown, you dumb, see.
And then the boyfriend is taking a video.
You don't need to call her.
Yeah, but he's, and Philly guys like, he's just, yeah, but she is clearly because it's not a touchdown.
One play later.
Touchdown.
Okay.
I hope you're happy.
Yeah.
Just stating the obvious.
Yeah.
So the moral of the story, Philly fans.
Take your girl to Philly.
Yeah.
And cheer for the opposite team.
Yeah.
Great plan.
Yeah, that you did have to expect it, right?
I guess so.
Yeah, because they're cheering.
They're in the garbs.
They're cheering loud.
Go to Philly, you'd be ready.
Not a terrible thing to do.
Cheer for your favorite football team.
I would have a hard time.
Oh, Jack.
If the shoveler said,
Now do you,
let's go.
I haven't seen this.
Okay, take the,
take the hearing loss off because they don't want any part of this.
This is not a part.
They want no,
thank you hearing loss for the RET's top six there.
So this is,
this is during the second half.
Yeah.
That's Philly.
Right?
Shoveler, you're on your own.
Yeah, but you don't need to call her.
And then he threw in the ugly.
Oh, yeah?
Just very matter of fact, she's an, hey, I mean, she's a UDC.
And by the way, what are you going to do about it?
Question.
And that's a bad spot for him to be.
be in clearly more eagles fans you're outnumbered even if you feel comfortable with the one-on-one
confrontation and we've talked about it we've shown some fan fights over the years they've got the one
row advantage you don't ever fight up it's not going to end well you want high ground dean
the only thing you can do is try and sneak attack grab them and haul them down you need to get
the upper ground that's all you again is only going to allow you the satisfaction of getting
the guy that said it
Because then the buddies short-lived.
Yeah.
You're going to get boot stomped.
Yeah.
Unlike that Steelers fan and the Steelers themselves.
Sorry, Jack.
It's always a tough goal.
Are we okay with, I mean, it's a C-bomb.
I feel like it's not a big deal.
It's hard.
People were warned that casual.
We did, right?
We kind of.
Oh, there was definitely a disclaimer.
Yeah.
That's all I do is coming.
It might be a few sea bombs coming up next weekend.
up in Jasper, depending on how things go.
Jasper Pond hockey tournament.
Are you uncomfortable with the approach that Ryan's taking with you?
No, either way, if we defend,
there will be plenty of folk that will be unhappy.
I have no intel on it, but I have to feel like the Oilers Nation people have.
They're, they're pushed.
I believe these guys will drop the ball again.
Hear me out.
They are such fan boys of the team that they have.
and their teams playing well.
There is nothing else
that they want to sit around
and just talk about
how great things are going.
They are not focused on.
No.
Yeah.
Did you see that play?
Bush bomb!
Bush bomb!
Like, they aren't thinking
about other things.
I believe that.
I was thinking what we could do.
Get a bunch of our origin beer.
Get our barn burner blonde.
Get the after burner pale out.
Hey, guys,
we just,
and bring in like a cooler.
Yeah, it's break bread.
Here we are.
Yeah.
And like, really?
Here, you want another one?
Just be like, over serve.
Because we know we've done the partying with them.
I think lost in there too.
Yeah.
I think you get the heat and you put it in their skates.
Heat.
Like the.
Yeah, like the A5.3.
Yeah.
Icey hot.
Yeah.
You looked at the forecast.
I haven't.
You might need that anyway.
Oh, shit.
Well, it's just the other Jan and Jasper.
That's what did that you go for the winter experience, baby.
We're going back.
We're heading up there for the Jasper Pond Hockey Tournament, Defending Champs, January 23 to 25.

Actually, look at this. This is above seasonal.
Heys are on minus four and five. That's perfect.
Saves above.
Expecting.
Save above expected. Yeah.
Degrees above expected.
I saw that not to bring Jack back into it, but I saw there was a stats.
I didn't.
Derek Henry had 79 rushing yards.
over expected in the wild card win over the Steelers.
Henry forced 12 missed tackles on the night.
157 yards rushing after contact.
Third most by a player this season.
Lamar Jackson, Derek Henry combined for 267 rushing yards.
Second most by a QB-R-B duo in a playoff game ever.
Good luck, Rhett.
The bills have a good team, though.
No one's given the bills any love.
I think this is going to be a great game.
Yeah.
It might be the Super Bowl game.
Lions are good.
Lions are good.
Chiefs of frauds.
Would you be disappointed if it was the Super Bowl game?
Not at all.
Right now, right today.
The only thing that's annoying is that we're getting it this soon.
You know what I mean?
Mm-hmm.
You're like, uh,
save this a couple weeks.
But at the same time, very good team conceivably,
another step closer.
You're not going to lose one of those two by.
We will have a final four by this time next week.
there will be three games remaining after next weekend.
Say this,
I was talking to my kid about it last night.
So all the games haven't been super exciting.
The last game last night.
Awesome.
The team, sorry, Jack, earmuffs,
the teams you kind of wanted to be there,
Ravens, Bills, Eagles, like the big boys.
There's no Cinderella that's now going to shit themselves
in the second round or first row to call it.
And, I mean, that's on the Chargers.
And the Chargers were frauds.
themselves.
Yeah, because if the charges get through, are they?
They've hung in both those games with KC, but of course, they get the ball of one possession
left.
And of course, you know, there's a weird call with the rest of mail.
And it's the Chiefs or 10 and 1.
Herbert had three interceptions all year.
All year.
Like, that's incredibly like, slow.
Wow.
Yeah, that's very impressive.
Like didn't have four starts.
Played them all.
Yeah.
Three.
averaging one every like six games
for yesterday.
Son up.
Saturday, but.
Yeah.
Not good.
Awful.
There's a few in here I could use for that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm giving me another one.
No, it's over.
That was Saturday.
If it was yesterday, maybe I'd.
Plus, we all picked the Texans, right?
No.
I picked the Texans.
You guys.
Well, you might have been on Texans.
I had the Chargers.
We got one pick to make today.
And then we'll jackal.
have the first weekend summary for us tomorrow at the broncos tough tough I think I did have the eagles
I think and I had the manders so it's a two and three it's not about that though how did uh
Alan not get into the end zone yesterday I wasn't watching you didn't watch the game
I had a little I had a little parley going it's like well there's cook with the touchdown and cook
with the rushing yards and the money line win.
What do you have for rushing?
I think 47 rushing yards needed three more there and a touchdown.
I figured this is going to be.
Game is out of hand pretty quick.
Yeah.
What was it scored the half?
13.7.
Well, they scored seven and then decided not to score again.
They didn't do anything for the rest of the game.
So the longest have the first drive.

So it's so long. Whatever
the moment, it's never ordinary at bet
365. We've got Flames hockey, three games in the
NHL and yes, the final wildcard
weekend football game. So
let's get the hockey out of the way. Flames
Moneyline minus 140. If I
can't convince them to tank, I'm going to jinx them
into the tank. Let's do it. Go Flames.
You're awesome. No way you could lose to
Chicago. No
way you could lose to Chicago.
Flames minus 140.
That's cheeky.
Sharon Gullfiz.
They are three and one is road favorites this year.
And you're in?
I said Sharon Govich and now you're on your phone.
Now you're going to do it.
No, I'm going to the, I just want to double check.
Yeah, the line for the football game is at two.
So it's moved to minus two.
So.
Indoors, 47 and a half over under.
That's about right.
I take the under there.
What is your, are we, do,
or do you want to do these?
I haven't figured out what the hell of Minnesota.
Like, I've watched them enough.
You know what I'm going to do?
It's unbelievable.
I watched last week.
I'm like, well, that ain't it.
That's not what everyone was raving about.
What I'm going to do is I'm not going to let one game last week
against the unbelievably good football team.
Yeah.
Taint my view of them the entire season.
Okay.
They've been a very good football team.
I am going to take.
I would go heavy on the bike.
I'm going to take.
the Vikings. I think they're very, very good. And I think that L.A., sadly, is in the same
scenario as the Chargers, where there is a lot going on those players' lives.
Yeah, distractions. And you feel awful about it, but they're not in a position. I mean,
God bless them if they can, but I might have taken the Vikings no matter what. Now the L.A.'s not
at home and they're dealing with all that stuff. I think big Vikings.
Minnesota's when I lost two teams this year.
Detroit twice.
Detroit.
And Rams, the L.A. Rams.
Who I will take plus two and a half.
I will take the Vikings minus two.
I feel like it's too low of a spread.
Neutral psych game.
The Vikings have been good all year.
You can take the Rams minus two.
Sorry, I'm just trying to see the line here.
Yeah, it's two and a half.
So, no.
No, it's two.
Rams plus two, right.
Okay.
I just refer.
It's probably just dancing back and forth, but yeah.
Okay.
We should pick a line then.
Refresh again and let's see.
That's two now.
Okay.
Thank you.
Rams plus two.
Just open it.
Still?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Why can't we agree on something?
Go all in.
Now, who do we want in this?
Big unit.
Who do you want to advance?
Well, L.A.
would be the feel good story.
LA would be the feel good story
but if you get a Vikings
Detroit rematch that would be pretty epic
but I don't know that
the Vikings necessarily are a slam down going to Philly
either. I know if
if the Vikings win it's a lot about how they do it
tonight if they bounce back and look
really good and it's Jefferson and
you know they're running the ball
redemption story
if they sneak one out and kind of stink
that can be a lot of love for them
going into Philly
and again don't take your girlfriend
if you're a Vikings fan.
Nope.
They're going to Detroit, aren't they?
Is it Detroit?
Yeah.
Well, we had,
no, Washington will go.
Washington's going to Detroit.
Yeah, they're going to Philly.
Okay.
Because, of course, the handshake,
the kneecap biters
at sea in two weeks.
Right.
I'd be three.
Thank you, bet three, six, five.
Good fun.
World's largest sports betting platform.
They had a couple, and I know we're not
maybe supposed to talk about these sorts of,
they had a couple of the pre-made.
Special things that they cook up there.
Yeah.
And hit a couple of them.
Yes.
Do you like Derek Henry and Nico Collins?
I sure do.
Hit that one?
Yeah, that was a good one.
I had the bills, by the way.
By seven and a half.
Oh, you teased it down?
No, I didn't tease it.
Well, what we, you bet against the bills on the picks.
Eight and a half on Friday.
I see it.
I think you need to take it.
back you said a lot of nice
nice things about me at the start of the show
pay for the pizzas. I don't know how
you don't get there, you know, Jack still is your pizza.
Why do you get to determine how anything?
You don't even know anything about the real world.
You've never lived in it.
That's right. Fantasy land.
Your life is a fantasy.
They're playing Annie Lennox in the warmups
yesterday. Really? Really. Which one?
Walking on broken glass?
Walking on broken.
Don't know.
I used to hit the post.
You would.
On that one.
Yeah.
That was a good one for the piano intro.
Dun,
dun,
dun,
dun,
dun,
walking on,
walking on,
bro.
I used to love hitting the post.
Yeah,
you would.
You'd turn the mic off.
Jack doesn't know what the hell you're talking about.
Bang.
And then some guy would like turn his head around,
look at the studio,
and then some guy would like,
oh!
Yeah,
guys be like,
oh!
And then,
if you've walked on it, you'd be like, mother.
Oh, so close.
God.
James!
The hell!
It's Monday I can stomp and yell because there's nobody down.
Yeah, they're close.
Do you know what hitting the post is, Jack?
In hockey terms?
Cut his mic.
Oh, my God.
No.
What is hitting the post?
It's industry slang.
If you're a radio DJ,
you start the song and you keep talking over the musical intro
and then you stop talking
and throw out the call letters generally
right before the vocals start.
Hang on,
does you know what a radio is?
Do you know what radio is?
Yes, yes.
You may not.
Do you own a radio, Jack?
Do you know what radio?
I'm a car or has a radio?
Yeah.
Do you have a car?
Do you have a radio in your house
in your apartment?
No.
Like, I think I do.
I would have to stream off an app
on my phone.
Yeah.
But if you were to,
hey,
just turn the radio on.
That's true.
Yeah.
It's disheartening.
I think things make sense in the big picture.
Yeah, I guess.
Yeah, but it's this really low quality of sound that isn't that good.
It's catchy.
Yeah, you should probably keep it for a few hundred years then.
Go on an assist for the Irish Fox tonight.
Oh, at least.
That's okay.
Yeah.
Hey, do we get numbers on?
Boys.
Last time they scored four?
Or did they do it in the new year?
I don't know.
This might be Chicago before Christmas.
They get the magic number tonight?
Can they get to four?
It's a lot.
I don't know.
It's a lot.
It's a lot.
They're on the road.
Let's see what I got for player props tonight.
Can I get in on some Rory Karens?
Is there Rory Karens on that?
Kuzmeiko is here.
Yep.
It means very well.
Lombard, Hanley, Bean, Ball.
Pahal.
No, he's not on.
How's the Lombard doing fight twice last?
Just being a goddamn hero.
That's what he's doing.
I love,
I love the guy,
but you're right.
Every time it's like,
I hope this goes okay.
This goes well.
He sat down some big fellows.
He's taking some heavy ones,
but he's giving up 100 pounds and nine feet of reach.
Boy,
he's got hard.
Sat down some big fellas.
Well,
he absolutely destroyed Nathan Bastion earlier.
He was not tough,
but is large.
Remember that one, Jersey?
I really don't.
New Jersey.
It's a long time ago, but yeah, Bastion's probably six inches and 40 pounds bigger than him.
Who else is he scrapped?
He's throwing some big boys this year.
Oh, there's no doubt the bravery is.
Yeah.
But like he'll eat a few, but sometimes he does more than just saw them off.
How about this one?
Matt Coronado in the two games against Chicago already this season has three goals.
Anytime goal for Coronado plus 300.
I'm riding with you, Dino.
That's right.
Putting my big unit.
Right there.
Beautiful.
Boom.
It's probably going to do it.
Oh, you've got to do the super chat.
You're right.
Two super chats.
We got a couple of super chats.
One, we saw this pop up.
Guys said, I'm on team Wolf.
I'm riding with Wolf.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
For victories, I'm donating money, all of this sort of thing.
Well, he's back.
Come on.
Hands of Dan, $100.
Forget a fourth round pick for Lidar.
Invest in the future by figuring out whether Wolf is a 40, 50 or 65 game starter.
Play the wheels off this kid until he's
starts sagging.
They're doing it,
handsome,
Dan.
Nine to 12 if he starts
tonight and looks like he's
fine with that.
Yes,
hell yeah.
Get the point get her
to go with them
so that they can work it out together.
This text came in early in the show
and we were having the workload moving forward.
I mean,
to his point,
I just don't see a scenario where
they're going to start sitting wolf.
Not for the purposes of losing games.
No.
Yeah,
I mean,
you might not go 9 of 12,
but he's still going to get the lion's share the rest of the way here.
Yeah.
It's fought Olivier this year.
Shen.
$20, Arthos.
Oh.
Assemble the wolf pack.
Never take him out.
He is our king slayer.
Can you give me an awu after that?
I could.
Do you want the?
Both.
Okay.
Woo.
Woo.
What's sad when you hear that.
Oh, man.
Soil yourself.
Super chat.

I got Thursday for a afternoon.
How about it?
About it, about it.
I wish I could get it on me.
I got some minor hockey week on Tuesday.
Let's go, baby.
We've got a big game tonight.
What's the good luck?
What are we doing?
Where are we at?
Stakes.
Karma came and got me again, Dean.
You know what karma's like?
It's a bitch.
Yeah.
A yip to boat Parse.
Steve Parson's the other,
the other Boe Valley team.
Stevie Pars.
We ended up playing them.
Yeah.
Fella short tool.
Those ones sting, Dean.
I hate the four three.
Same association.
Inner association lost things.
There's a lot of bad blood that comes.
I know.
Boiling out too.
Say things that you shouldn't.
And once again, these refs, they suck.
Okay.
Okay.
I'm joking.
No, he's not.
I'm joking.
And what's your, what's your Tuesday?
Yeah.
Fellas back-to-back wins.
So the Oak Ridge on Tuesday, can't wait.
Yeah, we got to win tonight.
We've got the Raiders.
Got to stay on.
Vegas.
Did you have a, I'm just saying here, a ret bet.
Did you throw together a red bet?
Yes.
I mean, Sharon Govich.
It's not short change.
It's not a short change.
365 here.
Look at this.
Whoa.
Yor, coming to life.
He's going to score.
This guy is coming.
Come on.
Come out.
He's playing with the undeniable Rory Karens.
Of course he's scorn.
The Irish Fox.
Irish fox and Igor.
Irish fox and the Bel Russian brood.
And then Jakob Pelletier.
That's a line.
Jake.
Jake the snake.
He's again,
that's that French,
that blood,
you know,
kissing guys in the helmets and doing all that.
Positive vibes.
That's good karma.
It is good karma.
Whereas I'm shit talking of people.
Bad.
You haven't learned your lesson.
And not only taking it into karma,
probably could take one in the nose from that guy.
Oh, is he hot?
Parse?
Geez.
You want to mess around?
No, parse because I knew what he did.
Knows what he's doing there.
If he were to fight Lomburg today, I'd be telling Lomburg, be careful.
Right.
Watch yourself.
See you, buddies.
