We saw Darrell Sutter, who I believe will join Barnburner in the next month. Prove it. I got receipts, Daryl, don't let me down. Had this to say on Jonathan Hubbardow earlier this month. Yeah, I think that first of all,

the first year was probably one of, he was probably in shock. I don't think you ever expected to get traded out of Florida. and being from eastern Canada, I don't think that Western Canada was necessarily as cup of tea or would not have been his choice if we had a choice. So I think those were the two big things. I think just getting off in the wrong foot in it all

was a big part of why he is where he is. I think that say what you want. You know, Matthew Kachuk is a stud. and that would be the trouble spot and all that because as you know in a small market the fans have a lot to say in terms of when they're analyzing players and they do a pretty good job of it.

So you know Jonathan's had a tough time there and quite honest I hope he can bounce back because he makes a lot of money and they need them to. There's a lot there I agree with. I don't think he's trying to do his best what I'm supposed to be doing. Painted decent enough for picture. Yeah, you've MF people way harder than he went at Hubertoe there.

That's like three or four people have got strays today already. I wouldn't say that's a resounding, hey, he's going to be great. No, I really hope so, but boy, I wouldn't bet on it. He's a forgotten man. Like every day I do the lineup. I can't decide if I feel bad for him or if I'm indifferent because it's hard to feel bad for a guy that's had a really good career and makes $10.5 million. a year and blah.

I don't think he wants to go out there and be shitty. Do you remember when Roberto Luongo said my contract sucks and you're trying to get sympathy firm and it's like, oh yeah, that no move and all that money? Dang, that thing you really negotiated for is holding you back, huh? I don't know what he's going to look like after hip resurfacing. I don't think we've seen anything close to Prime Huberto since he's been here. I also don't know long. His hips have been bugging him.

Is it five years? Is it five months? I don't know. Hips? I'm telling you parents. All the kids hockey start. You got your kids on the ice. Took GD much.

Right. Overworking them. Did you guys watch Hubert O much before he came to Calgary? No. I mean, he's in Florida and they weren't good yet. Yeah. Like the last year there, I think they won the President's trophy.

But prior to that, they were kind of. Like, was he a superstar? I know he had all points. 150 points most type of left winger. Like superstars probably strong, but it was an incredible season where everything went right. And he looked like Nick Baxterum out there

where he was just like, I just say that, but again, not to, you're right. And we didn't pay attention. No, because. But nobody else was either. This guy was putting up massive points. Well, the people that knew him best, if we have a chance to turn this guy in his career year and we're going to do it.

And we'll include a first and we'll include Uighur because we don't want. And did it work? Yeah, they went to three finals in a row after that. They did the right thing. Belzino's not dumb. But yeah, it's like. I don't know how you're supposed to feel about it. You're married to him until the cap gets so high.

Or he returns to... Allow you to just to say, gover. I get it from the fan perspective. If you're a player, you would hate that. You would hate that. But guaranteed money is a huge thing. No, no, no, no, no, no. You're still biased.

I got to pay it. Got to pay him. Pay the full salary. But just you want cap relief? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So if buyouts didn't hit against the cap. I argue with noodles about this because we should be on the player's side.

Then I'm like, Yeah, but some of these guys are signing huge deals and putting their feet up and being lazy pricks. Like, you can't, it's not fair almost to the GMs and the owners to go, well, Hubert was a great example. Sheep shots, whatever, I'm not trying to, but he's a great example. Where the NFL, you'd be cut already. You have a running back that's a stud one year, massive contract,

comes back, 50 pounds overweight. You're cut. Yes and no. Like, Deshawn Watson's not cut. And he's been dog shit for five years because he got all his money guaranteed. So again, it goes into these CBA things where it's like,

how much is guaranteed? Yeah, how much is a bio? That's still a decision that you can, I'm just saying that at some point, you should be able to just say, you know what? Yeah.

This isn't what we signed up for. And Hubertoe might be mad, but do you think he likes going to the ring? And I think he's probably a little bit embarrassed if I'm being honest. Right. And if he's, any of you could, how old is he? Probably 31 or two.
