After everything that has happened during Huberdeau’s disappointing tenure in Calgary, Rhett believes he should never play another game for the Flames, while Pinder is taking a much more patient approach and wants to see what Huberdeau looks like once he’s fully recovered from hip surgery. I think the gist of my point is that Jonathan Huberto is not going to help your team when you need him to be able to help your team. And you're better off finding out if the kids can play. 100%. I'm just saying if you're going to play him in a position where you're trying to grow his value, that's not going to be with pospousal and whoever else. Yeah. And now you've eliminated a spot for a kid. That's the thing. It wouldn't be about Zipikov. No, it would be a top nine guy. It would be somebody that you'd be like, I would rather see.

You know what it is? It's Gridden, Hansik, and Zer. I would rather see player X in that spot other than. And what did, what do noodles say you have? had to be a to be a GM. Yeah, so sociopath. So I'm fine being a social path. I'm also fine looking at some of the GMs that do things how they want and they kind of have success.

So instead of doing something a little bit different that doesn't, well, we've always done it this way and this is how we should do it because we did it. Why?

Like the thing is, is they have probably the worst forward group in the NHL. You're not really holding back a lot of stallions here. They're already going to be playing the piss off of Coronado and Gredden. And no one else really matters.

They're just placeholders. This is a terribly depressing situation. Oh, Hansick, maybe. Zerry maybe. But like, the rest of these guys are not here when they're good. Backland's retired. Farabee's been moved. Frost is traded.

Strom's only here for a year. These are all placeholders. True. The D-Corps is going to be here for a while. The goalie's potentially a while. This forward group, you're waiting for someone to look like a top liner in this league. They have zero of those players today. Who could you put in on the top line of the abs or the oilers or name a contender that's on this roster? Nobody. And everyone else looks at that third liner. Like who's flirting with a point per game on this team? A point per game. Right? And that's kind of the standard of a top line player.

Well, how many games? 84k 84 this year. We'll call it 74. It's harder than ever. It's even tougher now. It can be easier for guys like Connor. Two more games. That's another 10 points.
