Can I sing the song?
I can't even forget how it goes.
I just always sat back and enjoyed the ride.
I had too many pills.
Thank you, Ryan.
Pills.
You're filled up?
Oh, I'm nauseous.
I got to order some food.
Okay.
Welcome to the show. It's a presentation of Bet365 this season.
Play to win early with Bet365, the home of winning early.
You see right there?
sort of there
download the app that's the key thing
you don't have the app it's hard to do all the stuff
just download the app
easy to use
get yourself set up you get in there
bit bit bit bit bit bit do the thing
and then you start to have all kinds of fun
we're going to be making our football bits this week
I'm glad we didn't do them yesterday
because I would have taken the Cowboys and that was embarrassing
I was thinking about that we were talking about the show
the over under what's the point
well
how are the bucks going to get any
How are they going to get points?
Like the Cowboys are probably getting like they're going to get their 30 or whatever.
They're going to feed CD lamb all night.
CD's and catches.
That's why you love the NFL.
Two for nine yards.
You think you got it figured.
You never know.
You never know.
You never know.
I'll be right back.
I see you right.
All right.
It's good right.
See a Monday.
He's the Hulk.
Geez.
Metro.
And the best part is,
we were sitting here
minutes to let's go
like let's go on board
okay uh super chat
money that comes in on the YouTube chat is we're live
we'll go to the use sentence of Calgary
Jack do we miss any super chats yesterday
I'd hate to this book I don't think so
I thought one already though
Oh we got on already? Yeah
A little teaser dito?
Is it any good? I don't know
I mean you know
Save it or play it your call Jack
It's very flamesy
Well we'll play it we don't need to wait
but we'll get through this because we're here in the McLeod Law Studios.
Yes.
On a Friday, and if you're in this region, geographically speaking, when does the bad weather hit?
Are we hours, just minutes, hours away from it?
Because it's chilly outside, but it's still kind of nice fall-like weather.
It's not that warm.
I'm in the ignorance's bliss mode, which is don't look at the weather forecast because I've heard murmuring.
It says here on my, again, app.
See, it's all about the apps.
Yeah.
Special weather statement.
Conditions expected by 3 p.m. Friday, October, windy.
Wind gusts.
And precipitation.
70% 80, 60, so,
precipitation.
I'm seeing snow.
Oh, Jack.
Yes word.
It's a good thing at least we're saying.
If some kind of a
weather statement, blizzard hits,
McLeod Law has taken care of us
here in the McLeod Law Studios.
Maybe you've been poisoned in your
vomiting at work.
You need to,
you know,
sue someone for damages or lost income.
What do you figure is happening?
I think he went to buy food.
That's my guess.
He took all his pills at once,
and if he does that on an empty stomach,
he sometimes gets in a meal.
You can't take the zinc on the empty stomach.
Is that what it is?
Yes.
I'm rocking some sink.
An empty stomach?
No, usually it's something in the morning.
Yeah, pills on the on the, uh,
empty,
on the empty tummy.
It is no good.
Uh,
coming up.
What?
No,
no.
Sorry.
What were you going to do?
I was just going to swap camera to rat shop,
but no,
leave it.
That's funny.
Maybe back by Monday.
Yeah,
it's,
you never know.
You never know.
Uh,
we'll have the,
uh,
Pinda report,
which I didn't.
Uh-oh.
We got a lot to do today.
Really?
Friday, we usually mail these in.
I know what's happening.
It's a tough situation we're in here.
I knew we were actually working today.
I would have changed plans.
How'd you?
We're just too damn successful, I guess.
It comes down.
Honestly, it's too good at this.
It's like Trump.
You're going to get sick of winning.
Somebody wins here.
So good.
So good at the plans at all of this.
Dave, and I got to get the pronounced ocean.
But I saw him on the sheet with Merrick.
Yeah. And he's kind of given a pen yada.
It is an Italian name, and I don't know how Italian we go.
I would trust the person whose name it is.
I'm going to ask him.
I'm going to ask him.
Because if it's peniota, pegnaata.
Right.
You don't want to, you know.
Anglicize it.
Let's have a little bit of class in this joint.
We've got to figure out where he's from in the old country, too.
Nudles, of course, goes.
And retro's got, you know.
Oh, one of those things.
That's what it'll be.
Mulberg's Italian, right?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Was that Bologna?
Certainly is, yeah, from the Bologna region.
Why do we do this?
We'll do our Coca-Cola fan moment.
Sure.
Because then it'll kind of organically and just naturally kind of dovetail in.
Dovetail.
Yeah, it'll get right into it.
Coca-Cola.
This fan moment, a presentation of Coca-Cola,
being a hockey fan is a commitment,
the superstitions, the chance, the pacing, the standing through overtime, because sitting just
feels wrong, whether you're making the climb up to the nosebleeds, rallying your section
to start the wave, or keeping one eye on the game and another on the out of town scoreboard.
It's true fandom.
You got to put in the work.
Every shift deserves an ice cold Coca-Cola fan work is thirsty work.
I'm going to go in another fridge.
And last night, the, you always love it.
We want to rebuild, get the kids, get the, got to play the kids, get the kids.
right?
Why do you need to do this right now?
Gold stole one of those, by the way.
I know he did, and he can replace it.
Yeah, I got a gold update for you.
The old toilet king.
Fucking guy.
Get the kids in, play the kids,
want to see the kids, and then you get some
that it's exciting.
I don't know.
I mean,
like Costanza gets traded here last year.
I don't know what the X-Bet
expectation was.
He's not ancient.
He's 21.
Right.
But previously did he?
It was like a second or third rounder, I believe.
Yeah.
And like not a highly touted prospect, but by the end of the season last year, like,
that's an impressive collegiate campaign.
Now we'll see you against professionals.
Didn't expect to see him this soon.
I'm impressed.
Two goals in the debut in the H.L.
I was going to say, do you think he expected?
No.
Prior to the trade that maybe by September, October next year, I'll be.
Dinged up in the spring, didn't get in.
camp was fine, but like he wasn't the standout,
that probably would have been Sunni of.
And yet there he is the phone ring and with Zari going down.
And how about your first tennis show game, son?
That's exciting.
I just want to, it's from Toronto.
Yeah.
Drafted in the third round by Arizona in 2020.
Came over in the Uighur deal.
Came over in the Uyghur deal after the shifting to the Utah mammoths.
It was three full years with Cornell, but the Redman?
Big Red.
The Big Red.
Is that what it is?
I think so.
It comes up, like you say at the end.
October the 8th.
That's quick.
Jonathan Castania.
I don't know if it would have happened if he was still a mammute,
but he was a member of the Calgary Flames.
Or any other two of the other.
And got one of those, got the tap, tap on the shoulder.
And last night, the first NHL start.
And I get, it's like, ah, this, you can play it, Jack.
The thing, you think of the time and effort.
and tears and wins and losses for the mom and the dad and the family and grandma and grandpa, that whole thing.
How many mornings you had to scrape the windshield to get that kid to practice?
Hell yeah.
That there, right, like, for the kid, it's one thing.
And I realized it last night.
That's almost more for all of the family.
Hell yeah.
And it is for the play.
As exciting as it is for Jonathan Costandy to be out there taking a twirl on NHL ice before an NHG's first ever game,
what mom and dad and brothers and sisters.
a celebration for the Castania family last night at the dome.
Pretty cool.
Mom getting emotional.
Oh, sure.
Big smiles from dad.
He was a lady, girlfriend.
They both had the first thing with pride.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Love it.
Tell the story.
I think our friend's back.
And then we'll,
yeah, and then we can discuss, you know,
the performance and all of that.
A memorable game, to be sure, for his first ever twirl.
There you have it.
Oh my God, this guy is a legend.
That is our fan moment for Coca-Cola.
Being a fan's a commitment.
It's not easy.
The superstitions, the chance.
Come on through, buddy.
Coca-Cola.
Every shift deserves an ice cold Coca-Cola fan work is thirsty work.
This guy, hey?
Oh, wow.
So what happened?
You took too many pills.
And I always take just a big handful of pills.
This one knocked me out.
Handful wasn't good today.
Do you usually do it on an empty stomach?
Empty?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm old.
That's it right.
Did you eat well enough yesterday?
Are you?
Oh.
He made the trek north yesterday.
So I know he ate well yesterday.
I was going to get a little roadie on the third hole for sure.
Potato salad was delicious.
Oh.
Beef ribs got all over from my truck.
It's good.
What do you do with a steering wheel?
You have wet wipes in there?
Just let it over time, it'll just get read into that.
Probably it's fine.
It's probably fine.
Just work it in.
It'll work its way out.
It's almost like a, you know, the leather shoe.
You've got to work in some oils there.
Kind of looks good then.
Sheen to it.
Well, we'll bring in a guest.
Maybe he has some thoughts on the flames.
Because we haven't really talked about it.
No, we really haven't.
We've been kind of.
I was jumping out.
I know, so that we could do that.
No, we sought to do that.
Seven again?
Jesus.
The hell's happened.
We go to.
the guest hotline, a presentation of
crystal water's plumbing and heating, your crystal clear
choice for home comfort. 587, 317,
15, 51. Yes, snow
this weekend, it sounds like. So,
you're going to be turning your furnace on. I hope
it works for you. If it doesn't, if
all of a sudden you, boom,
boom, we have a house, remember, it was
Bobby was preventative maintenance.
Yeah. Like, before you have a house full of people
and then it's, you know, you're out of hot water
or the furnace doesn't work, maybe preventative.
Might be a little late now. But if something,
that goes on the fritz.
Crystal clear
Calgary.com is the website
and they will take good care of you.
We go to the guest hotline and
welcome to the program. Now we need
some clarification. We're going to go right to the source.
Yeah. Because I had seen, it's David,
it's Dave Pagnoda. Sure.
And then I watched the sheet and
Jeff Merrick, peniata.
Penaota. It's like, oh, Jesus, I better
brush, I better
I better brush up my
brush up my, my, my Italian.
we better figure some stuff.
Simon Nemitz.
David, David.
Boy.
How do, what are we?
Penaota?
Pagnotta, Pagnota, not, what are we doing here?
Close.
Close.
You have to say it.
This is what they do with the rookies in the NHL.
You say it once.
Don't butcher it because that's how we're going to do it.
The, the, I mean, Panyota is the proper head of Italian way.
But, uh.
That's weird.
I thought he was muted.
I don't, I'm not plugged in.
very high tech here Dave sorry there we go
it's okay I know there's chicken all over the steering wheel
there's all ribs and all can't it's all good it's all good
no yeah pan yoda pan yore is the that's fine yore
we can handle that we can make that work where in the motherland
is the family from like we all love Italy and Calabria
yeah Cosenza down south okay in Calabria yeah
so you're like on the the toe of the boot or the heel or where we're out there
the heel okay yeah
Do you get back there very often?
Every couple of years.
I was back this summer on the other side.
I'm on the west side.
I went on the east side, but a little beach town in Cederno, which was lovely.
And a lot of people from New York, from Toronto, from Montreal, that kind of get down there.
So you see some hockey gear every now and again, a couple T-shirts and hats and whatnot.
So a little bit of NHL action in southern Italy every once in a while.
and lots of Speedos.
Oh, yeah, the banana hammock.
Oh, man.
And it's, it's all, it's not even old guys.
It's not even like dudes in their 60s, 70s, 80s.
It's like people are roaming around in their 30s and 40s with these things.
We're going to bring it back, Dave.
We're bringing it back.
It's like, you could forgive the old guys because they're give a shit meters.
It's like, oh, wear whatever I want to wear.
But guys are their 30s, like, you should know better.
You got, you got dudes in their like mid to late 30s that have like young kids roaming around.
and they're speedoing the crap out of the beach.
And you're like, ah, man, nobody.
Your kids don't need to be seeing any of this.
You've got to have some real confidence.
It's a little different over there.
That some of them shouldn't.
But, you know, some misguided confidence.
We're good at that too.
Well, thanks for coming on.
We appreciate you.
Yeah.
Thank you for giving up.
Oh, he's going to distract us from.
to talk about other things.
Uh-oh.
Sorry.
You want to put it all?
Perfect season.
Let's other teams.
We'll start with the flames.
We already kind of went there.
Another seven burger last night for the flames.
The thing of it is,
and the first three games,
I guess the Vancouver one,
they had a one-nothing lead.
They lose four to one,
but the,
they were bookended by two really awful performances.
Against Seattle.
And the mood.
Those were rough, Dave,
was,
not great. On the one hand, it's the rebuilt. This is good. Don't need wins. Don't need them.
But boy, the process and the road from start to finish in those games was real tough.
It felt like last night was obviously the opponent was was a lot better in Colorado.
Right.
But it just felt more palatable in the end.
I only scored more than one goal. But it had a bit more of that fight.
And they were in it. Just yeah, they were kind of, they were kind of in it, although
We're Catholic-wise, not on scale.
I don't really know.
We keep kicking it around.
What kind of year this is going to be for for Huska behind the bench?
He's already gone through the Zeri thing and Pahal and that their own waivers and sent
down and we saw Griddens ice time.
It's very curious and I don't know if there is anything that comes to mind, but the challenging
year ahead for Ryan Huska and the coaching staff to keep spirits up, but discipline when needed
and teach, but put up with, we got to allow mistakes and be good with it.
We got to keep it loose, but also have standards.
Yeah.
You don't want to get pumped every night, certainly.
But, yeah, I mean, seeing a little bit of improvement, and along with the growing pains,
I think is what was anticipated this season, a lot of growing pains, maybe emphasis on pain.
Yeah.
But, you know, you're a rebuilding team.
They've accepted that.
There are more changes that are going to come along as the season progresses along the way.
But you want to give some of your younger guys, again, the opportunity to grow and build and gain experience at the NHL level.
But, yeah, at the same time, you don't want those Seattle performances on a regular basis.
You want to be able to kind of, yeah, be in it and show, again, little improvement here and there from some of your younger guys.
and from some of your, even some of the core guys, or the young core guys,
or that are supposed to be core guys anyway, you know, going out there.
And, you know, the give a you know what meter needs to be relatively high
for some of the veteran guys or the older younger guys as the pure younger guys grow.
And again, it's going to be a rough season.
I think everybody, and correct me if I'm wrong guys,
but I would anticipate that everybody in that, all the fan base in the market,
understood that this was going to be a rough type of season.
Right?
This is a rebuild type of year.
And these types of things are going to be expected throughout the season.
You don't want it four or five games in a row.
Yeah, I think there was some kind of looking in the mirror from the fan base.
And yes, we want to rebuild, get young.
And then it was, we're not going to have 84 of these things.
And I think even last thing.
Wolf's supposed to be better.
He wasn't good.
And Cooley would want two of those.
Right? And if it's 5-3 against Colorado,
we were saying it.
Like, it's, you understand you're going to go into most games this year
and not have a better team on paper.
But you can play well, lose bad to Colorado.
Right.
And I don't know that they were great, but they're an opportunistic bunch.
They tried, but the talent deficit is massive.
Like Colorado's seventh players, best players, probably the best player.
That is the gap.
Now, Eric Francis was talking between periods because Connor Zeri,
it's oddly we've talked a lot about him this week and at some point it'll just kind of quiet down I think
but because he has cleared waivers and no team picked him up and he's with the wranglers it doesn't
necessarily mean that well he's going to be with the wranglers maybe he comes back francis had kind of
alluded to there's maybe still some some teams out there that if we can send a contract we can send a
salary back there's maybe a deal to be had any any idea on how close maybe somebody was on
grabbing Zeri on waivers or how close an off-season deal was that could suggest that maybe
Zeri is out of town sooner than later?
Yeah.
Well, on the waiver front, I don't think anybody was close in terms of, you know, having a
willingness to take on his $3.75 million contract with another year on it, right?
So I think there are, there have been teams that have expressed interest in trading for
him, as you were mentioning, but you want to flip something back.
So instead of taking 3.7, the full cap it, you want to throw something back, whether it's
$2 million or $1.7 or something like that. You want to throw a little bit back so that you're not
taking the full pop. I think if that opportunity presents itself for Connie and this crew, then I think
they're willing to pull the trigger on something like that. It's not like the Calgary Flames
need the cap space. They've got over $15 million in cap space right now. They're not going out there
and making all these big moves to improve the club immediately with all these big contracts. So it's
not necessarily their concern. It's more of the team that is interested in taking a flyer on
this kid. They want to give a little bit of money back so they're not taking the full pop.
Those conversations continued earlier on in the week. I'll be honest, I haven't heard much coming
into today with respect to progress on that front. But I do think the flames are open to that
possibility. It's just a matter of how much is coming back. It's not going to be full cap hit coming
back. But, you know, if you're willing to take this player and want to take this player,
depending on what comes back dollar-wise, we'll see if we can, you know, finagle a trade here.
But that's, I wouldn't say it's dead in the water. I just think it's on the back burner for
some clubs as they also kind of evaluate the market to see what type of options may be available
to them elsewhere. Yeah. I don't want to see them play well too, right? And a lot of teams,
they're going to have a Conner's area. We've got a 25-year-old guy that we've already drafted and
put some time and money.
You have to believe that you're going to resurrect them to a certain extent.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that's why I think a lot of the team, like you,
you want to take that chance.
You understand the risk of the player not achieving those goals,
which is why you want to mitigate that risk by moving out some money on somebody that
just hasn't worked out for you.
So we'll take a reclamation project.
You take a reclamation project.
We'll take the guy that's making a little bit more money, but you've got to take
something back.
And that's kind of what they have to figure out.
Interestingly, they have one retention slot left, but there's no way Connie wants to use that on this, given you think you're probably going to be shopping Frost and White Cloud and others at the deadline.
That's where you can really turn a good deal into a great deal of feed some salaries.
That's your interpretation as well, Dave?
Yeah, Strome as well and is also, he's a pending UFA, I believe.
Yeah.
So you have him, I think Sipulikov, you've got Hanley on the back end.
If you're moving out one of these guys and probably my guess would be,
the Strom or Frost front in terms of overall dollars, you're probably going to want to reserve
that slot for then. Now, whether that deal presents itself in the not too distant future,
foreseeable future, or closer to the deadline, you want to be responsible in how you're utilizing
that because there will be more changes coming to this roster. And there is and has been
interest in White Cloud since last season, since that Anderson trade, like almost immediately
teams inquired and said, what are your plans with this kid?
And he's 275 with another year in his contract.
So there's no concern dollar-wise of having to save a slot for him in particular.
It's more so I would imagine either Strom or Frost, if they do go in that direction.
I do think they may have a conversation with Frost Camp about a contract.
I just don't know definitively right now if that's something they'd be willing to explore on the player.
So what does the summer look like for him?
let's say he gets to you.
Like, we've seen the universe change after Leo Carlson.
He is a center.
We saw great returns for centers of the deadline last year,
including Shen and Wa and Cadry, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
But like, are we talking about like a $10 million player?
Or is it like, ah, he's a 3C or a 2B, maybe it's eight?
Like, it's, he's going to get paid.
Yeah.
For a guy that really, like you said, 20 goals once,
does he have more than 50 points ever?
Like, it's time to get paid, even though it's not that impressive.
of a statistical collection.
What's on his side is that there aren't many free agent centers
that are going to hit the market next summer.
It's a thin center crop going into next July.
So there is an opportunity for him to,
I don't know about doubling the salary,
but getting close to it.
Probably in that seven to eight range would be my guess,
depending on his overall performance this season.
If he pots, you know, 50 points or does a little more damage on that front,
that number goes up.
But, you know, term will obviously play a factor like it does for everybody.
But my guess would be in that, as of now, 7 to 8 range based on it's him and I think Zaka
that are probably at the top, at least top three, four in pending UFA centers that are going to be available to hit the market next summer.
So some of these guys, including Zaka, are going, do I want to explore the possibility of staying here?
Or am I going to probably cash in a lot more in the open market?
And it's more likely in that direction for him and for, and for,
And for Morgan.
And you wonder what Frost is saying,
I could really use a good year here.
I could use some goals and eat some numbers.
Yeah.
Boy, we're running the best spot to put up some big numbers here this year
from the looks of things.
There are few guys that would need to do that.
I would imagine this season.
Last year, the Florida Panthers run into a bunch of injuries
that fall out of the playoffs picture.
And it's okay.
We played a lot of hockey playoffs,
this whole thing.
If we have to take one year off from making runs for it,
We'll be okay with it.
Now Barkoff is out already.
Barshand, who's depth, depth spot, I suppose, but still,
25 last year.
Injuries again are rearing their head for the Florida Panthers.
I don't think the, ah, we'll just take a year and we'll come back and we'll be even think
of how healthy it would be next year.
That won't fly.
I wonder how much more aggressive Bill Zito might be this year.
If it, regardless, but if they do struggle or find themselves.
kind of, because we know they don't need to win the division.
They get in, they're going to be fine with that.
But I wonder for Zito how much more closely he's going to be watching moves and
available players.
Well, I mean, he's in tough.
They don't have cap space.
They don't have a ton of cap space to play with.
And, you know, Barkov's out six to eight weeks.
You know, Marsha had his imaging done yesterday.
Either last night or this morning, we'll have some type of update on his status unless I missed
it.
but I would imagine we'd get something pretty soon here with respect to his timeline.
And it's not supposed to be season ending.
It might be similar to timeline as Barkov.
So you don't have that much LTIR space to play with.
And if you do bring somebody in, you're going to have to make sure that you've got enough space to have these guys back in the mix.
And even within their timelines, if you want it to look at season ending if somebody's even longer,
again, it doesn't look like it's
season ending for him. So even if it's
four months, you've got to wait
to that point to reevaluate.
I think he's going to, I mean, he keeps tabs on the
market, no question. But
he's a little bit handcuffed in what he could
do unless he's doing a money in, money out
situation. The issue potentially for
him is that
all the guys that have value in that front
also have no movement clauses.
And everyone wants Lundell who they don't want
to move. I don't know. Exactly. I mean,
I don't discount your question, boom, but I don't know why.
Florida going into the season.
Yeah.
If they're healthy in March.
Yeah, that's what matters.
That's fair.
Oh, yeah.
Who are you putting up against them that you're,
you know what I mean?
Yeah.
You might not pick them, but you're like,
how they look in the fall doesn't matter, does it?
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's a good belt for seven game series.
The depth of that team with,
with those guys healthy, yeah, as you said,
come March, come April, down the stretch,
you look at those three lines that they've got.
And they're, I mean,
that's a pain in the ass to deal with it.
Yeah.
Like all three of them.
Like you got the Lusterine and Lundell-Marschaline by itself is a pain.
And then you've got the guys up front.
Yeah.
It's the Bennett.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Good luck whoever you're facing in round one.
Yeah.
Give us the state of the union in Detroit.
You know, there's been an ownership change.
There's been a front office change, but not the full change.
So you got a player in Sweden without a contract.
You got a Michigan-born captain that wanted out and now we have uncertainty there.
Like, give us the state of the union on the wings.
It's a mess.
It's, yeah, it's a rough one.
And I'm here in Montreal.
They play the HABs tomorrow.
There's going to be a lot of questions surrounding this team
until these changes start being made.
I mean, they thought they had their GM right around Labor Day.
And he stuck with the Tigers, and they had no backup plan.
Like, they were ready to make that announcement,
I think the Tuesday or Wednesday right after Labor Day,
and didn't happen.
So everybody else is going, okay, well,
You can't talk to our guy now.
We got a season to deal with.
And we need these guys running ship with our management team.
So they stuck with Horkoff.
He does have power, as far as I know, to make whatever changes he needs.
But, you know, the negotiation hasn't gone well at all with Edmondson.
You know, yeah, he prefers a trade.
I don't think a formal demand has been made.
But, you know, we had word.
I was talking with Jeff Merrick last week about this on the insider.
We were in a position now where trade might be best.
And that's kind of where they're at.
There's a lot of frustration from the player's side on Edvinson's side with respect to how things went of coming to camp and nothing getting done,
even though they said they would get something done.
And he ends up back in Sweden as a ticked off 23-year-old that's highly coveted across the league.
They didn't want to address the trade discussions with teams last week.
This week it's shifted where at least they're starting to listen.
and being a little bit more aggressive on the trade front with a few teams.
Their preference and the message that Horkoff is giving,
at least from the teams I'm talking to,
is still that they want to sign this guy.
And that's their goal and that's where they're focused on.
But they're doing a little bit more in terms of the due diligence factor
on what a potential package or return could be for a guy like Evanston
if this does get prolonged.
Larkin came back.
I think it really comes down to him.
if he continues how he did in his first game and continues to perform,
it may escalate another team's urgency to try to get this guy.
And I think that's the preference.
It's the preference from the player side.
But I think everybody involved, if he keeps performing,
you know, a team will look at this and go, all right, yeah,
we understand what we got here.
We don't want the competition to start picking up even further.
The biggest issue is the dollars.
It's almost a dollar in dollar out scenario for the 10 teams that he's willing to go to at the moment.
And so you've got to deal with,
what's the acquisition cost for Larkin, and then how do we offset the money?
So it's almost two trades and one that you may have to deal with,
unless he's willing to further expand the longer this goes.
But there are teams like Philly that continue to poke around that have been told,
uh-uh, he's not willing to go there.
So whatever the other teams that were added, whether it's a Boston or L.A.
That have also poked around Montreal's relayed the same message.
If he's willing to come here, we'd love to make it happen.
Not yet.
So there are some cap restraints and some challenges.
a number of challenges that Horkoff has to deal with on the larkin front,
even though he's expanded that list.
Reth's shaking his head.
Some amazing cities to play in it.
Yeah.
Is Minnie the natural?
Like, that feels hand and glove.
They've got a great team,
but they're a little light at center ice.
I mean,
they've got some good depth centers,
but no one that looks like a number one.
I love Eric Sineck as a checking line center.
Hartman's gritty,
but like they don't have a one C.
He would be lovely there.
Well, I mean,
if Detroit was willing to take a futures,
driven package, this would have been done in the summer.
But they've been adamant that that's not
what they want to do. They want
two immediate pieces plus whatever
is going to offset the rest of the cost. Future-wise,
whether it's a first round pick, another prospect or whatnot.
There's probably a few teams where they could have made a
trade if it's future is driven.
They don't want that.
And they're firm on that stance.
I don't know how much longer they can be firm on that stance,
but that's where they've maintained.
their positioning. And
you know, Horcoffs kind of
followed in the same messaging that Eisenman
had with respect to what that price is going to
be. And if you're not willing to pay it,
then we're not having a conversation.
Again, the problem now that we're
into the season isn't just the cost.
It's also offsetting the money.
So, Red, think about this. Like, he only wants
to go to contenders. It's ridiculous. It can't happen.
And then all the contenders are the teams
that aren't going to give up players
off the roster. They want to give futures. Like, I just
it's kind of like Hellebuck. I'm like, I don't
this ends. I don't see until Detroit's open to futures, how does this get done?
He's not going to start up and be open to futures because they're not that good.
And that's that's that's that's a challenge for again, that's a challenge in Detroit's like
Detroit, I mean, if they wake up one morning and finally say, okay, the only way we can fix
this whole mess is if we do an aggressive immediate re-rebuild and generate some significant assets
for Larkin, for Edvinson, for De Brinket, for cop, etc., Falk, and so on, that are on expiring
deals, get some young NHL caliber talent slash top-level prospects and high draft picks,
and then be very aggressive in the free agent market in July.
You could go that route.
A lot of people believe that's the route they should probably take.
It just, they're still not willing to go in that direction.
Is that ownership?
Yeah.
It's a combo.
it's a combo of ownership and just the
remaining management staff
still fairly entrenched in
Eisman's overall direction.
They haven't really alleviated
that plan, so to speak.
It's so messy because they've been out for so long
and yet they're not, you don't look at their
school, I don't dislike some of their players,
but you don't look at that squad and go, here's an
up and comer. Like you would do with a
sand, right? Yeah.
They haven't had the luck at the, the,
I think they've drafted decently, but they haven't had good luck at getting a superstar guy.
Yeah. Not since the, not since the two guys that they got, the two young kids that they, in Mo Cider and Lucas Raymond, beyond that, you've got solid talent coming into the system.
I mean, Edvenson would be the next guy, but you don't have another caliber that can step in immediately.
And, you know, they're the new Buffalo.
Like, that's the last thing they want.
But that's where they're at with how long they've missed the play.
playoffs and with the direction of this team and now everybody being, you know, frustrated into wanting out.
They're the, unfortunately for them and the fan base, they're the new savers.
And to like your point, rat, like if you take to Brinkett to Market, you're going to get some nice futures if you're open to futures.
And if you move Larkin and you're open to futures, you're going to get a hole in Evanston you love, but shit, you can get a pile of young.
Like in that division with Montreal and Buffalo and the Florida teams and McKenna,
joining the least.
That's why I think you have to reload this.
These standings and their record will ultimately make the decision for them on how to
move forward with this.
It's great to say we want we need players that can step in right now.
When you're last in that division.
Yeah.
As you get close to November.
I'll tell you, it's interesting watching that in the hellabuck.
Yes.
Situation because you've got Larkin playing and on one hand while he's helping his trade stock,
but it's also a team that doesn't have a GM.
They're happy.
well, we'll just keep kicking it down the road because he's playing and just let it do its thing.
Then in Winnipeg, you got Hellebuck who's not there and you wonder, well, what if they just kind of, if we hang around,
we're maybe not first in the division, but we're in a playoff spot, we're not going to be pressured into doing a deal that we don't want to do.
At least Detroit's getting there.
He played good.
He scores a goal.
Whereas that's an asset that's a, could be a big piece.
I wonder how much longer Hella buck is.
yeah, and at home.
Well, I just like,
those paychecks add up quick, Dave.
Unless there's an injury.
The wife influences a few things to
a few things a while on that front as well.
And there is some word
that there is starting to be
a little bit of frustration coming out of that side
of where they're at in him not being around,
not just paycheck-wise,
but also, you know, not not being game-ready,
not being around, not being in,
you know, when a trade does happen,
happen, how much longer is he going to need to, you know, be game ready?
We saw Swam and the happens all.
It feels like you just, you miss time, you're rusty.
Yeah.
That's not going to help the entire season.
He missed camp, took him the entire season to get going.
Yeah.
And he did the following year.
Like with Hellebuck, there is, there are starting to be a little bit of, of,
or there are some whispers now that he's contemplating when is the most appropriate time,
the longer this goes to get.
back to Winnipeg.
And I...
It's so bad.
It's his own doing.
It really is.
100%.
Yep.
I mean, he could have gone in Larkin's direction and said, yeah, I want this, but I'm
going to show up.
I'm going to, you know, be part of this.
I give Larkin credit for, you know, facing the music in that regard.
I want out.
It hasn't happened yet.
I'm going to come play.
I'm going to do what I can for this team until this gets figured out.
You know, still not the best and fans are going to boo and whatnot.
Hella but could have gone in that direction.
He didn't because.
he thought that something would have been done well in advance of camp or during camp.
And clearly it didn't happen.
But there is,
there's,
there are some guys in that room that I don't think would welcome them back with open arms,
even if he's willing to get back there.
Very different than Larkin.
Yeah.
People respect your decision to request out,
but you didn't abandon your boys if you're done Larkin.
And Connor Hallibuck said me over my teammates.
Yeah.
I'm on the catch.
I don't think a lot of people would be overly thrilled to,
seeing him back in that room.
Yeah.
Anytime you send out a letter.
When you write the letter and you put out the letter in the,
the media, it's very rarely does it go well?
And don't sign it to your name.
Like now they know it's you.
They know it's you.
Yeah.
Probably chat GPT.
There's one letter you want to send.
It's love letters to your significant other.
That's, uh, well, so.
And where you go?
So Montreal on a Friday night.
Oh, dear.
Um, mm-hmm.
Feel for you.
Yeah.
It's going to be, I'm just going to stay in the room.
Yeah, that's probably best.
Stay safe.
The room with the brass poles?
What are you?
You know, just get some wings.
Something like that.
Some protein.
Yes.
It'll be a decent time.
Appreciate your time, fellow.
Enjoy, enjoy Montreal.
We'll do it again soon.
Sounds good, boys.
Thank you.
There you go.
Thanks, Dave.
Dave Penoota.
Penaota.
Dave Penoota.
There you go.
Daily face off.
Nation Network.
Is there a fourth?
Huh?
Noodle that.
A what?
A noodle.
A peignota noodle.
I got a look.
There's this pen a.
Now.
Pne.
Pne.
Pneukki.
Pneukin.
I'm just going through the Pannacucan.
You keep going on a look now.
Or is it a dessert?
Bukapakalukin.
Panatone.
Boat.
That's the bread that they made.
I hate that.
My father-in-law eats that crap all the time.
It's disgusting.
David Panatone.
I've never done it.
It's a fric.
Well, that's the reviews I get.
It's like, hey, I like Christmas.
What's making us?
Things don't good.
It's got fruit and shit in it.
Oh, Brick cake.
Can you find out, uh, but call me a P-A-N-N-E T-O-N-E?
I'm going to say there's no chance he knows how to smell it.
Crystal Waters plumbing and heating.
Your crystal clear choice for home comfort.
I do feel, I feel badly, but I feel like somebody that these somebody is going to be like,
damn it.
When you crystal waters to come in because the furnace doesn't turn on or the furnace.
I should have.
brought in the report. I did it the other day. They did the thermostat. I said,
I said, I got an email. Check bar. Good. Check mark. Good. Good. Yeah. Check mark. Good.
There you go. Easy, peasy. And on one hand, it's like, well, I guess you didn't need to do it.
On the other hand, it's piece of mine. I like going to bed. Clear head it had it.
Yeah. God hung over and drunk. Don't look at me.
Too hungover. He looks. You just sick bastard.
It was interesting when he said, yeah, I'm on the Honga.
Didn't you miss the hockey game last night to go to some open house?
Like something for your kid?
Like what's a junior kid?
We had to break some bread after the old open house.
Kid was grinding math equations, love and life.
I'm like, I need a beer.
Thursday football, Flames, right?
Can you get a car put on a show?
They look at you.
They're watching.
No, no, no. They were at home when it was.
No, no, no.
Oh, so dad.
So dad's.
So when dad was passed out on the floor of the entry,
hall entry, the, you know.
Oh, I'm passing.
I don't know.
And those things come up and be fine.
That was, we're talking summer.
Jeez, that was like, yeah, forget about that.
Uh, Ryan.
They do as I say, not as I do.
That's what he said.
Is that what he said?
Probably should have said, put the beer down, son.
Probably what he should have said.
My dad did.
My dad said you should drink beer, not hard alcohol.
That's what you're called.
Yeah, Buffalo's sober.
I told him to go hat.
That's right.
Let's talk about the game last night.
No, we don't need to get too deep into it, but we have not given our thoughts.
Dave, we brought Dave in the talk.
I know we did.
Poor Dave.
Start him off of flames.
7.3, the Colorado avalanche.
Not bad.
And honestly, like, it wasn't.
If you were tuned in after 20 minutes, you're like, all right, that's what we expect it.
I was fine by it.
Yeah.
And maybe it's because.
We had the other ones.
Maybe if that was the first or second game of the year,
be like, ooh, boys.
If you looked at the schedule, you'd be like,
ooh, Colorado, yikes.
You weren't doing that about Seattle.
Like, we know Colorado as a contender.
I think we know that Seattle and Vancouver or not.
Is that fair?
Like six from Seattle feels like about 12 from Colorado,
if you know what I'd be.
7-3 with no empty netters.
You were right there.
All I can think is Babcock.
We didn't give up a touch.
You don't have the touchdown.
We did.
At the extra point.
At least they got a field goal.
They doubled their freaking goal total for the season last night.
I said it to Dave, and I'll say to you guys, because you probably heard before, but you probably forgot.
If the goaltender makes two more saves, five three is very respectable.
Yeah.
Five three is respectable.
If Sivy Siverson in Seattle, I mean, Seattle will get you, but if he makes two or three more saves, three one, whatever.
So we got Babs and Civi-Siverson.
Those are the goalies?
We have to, what did we say about the season?
What are we got to do?
We're going to make it fun, people.
You do?
You got to have fun with it.
You need nicknames?
Maybe we should make a shirt.
This is what we wanted.
We're going to have polls.
Like, who do we want to draft?
Right?
He's into the draft now.
I think we should have a draft party.
Okay.
Oh, wow.
Idea guy.
Well, we had a draft lottery party, and that was a somber.
Dudd.
The Leafs, that did fall flat.
There's one friggin ping pong ball number 10 or whatever falls.
You've got to be kidding me.
Yeah.
Yeah, that was burpuk.
It was a buke.
Yeah, it was not great.
So what do you want to talk about the game?
Yeah, I'm done.
Kevin Ball was great.
Come on, guys.
Coronado's scrapping.
He's not going to stand for.
I was a little surprised at this.
He was a Leroux.
Something had to been said.
That kid, that Leroux fell and Dixied right in front of the bench.
Shoot me old Dukes, you don't remember when Clapka scored?
That was that angle.
Yeah, I know, but that guy.
that Coronado fought
That guy that fell
Oh
And I wonder for some yippin
Maybe
A nice footwork there
Yeah
Elizabeth Manley
Dixie is that what you called it?
Yeah
Yeah he was a little whoopty do there
Whoop
Um
So yeah
I was fine
You know what it is
The goal
Of the goals
Yeah
The one goes off
The D man in front
I guess there's not much he can do there
door right um
tipping for us like
that devon daves is standing in front of the net
by himself yeah it's getting up of the rush
I'll just tap this in I don't
give a shit about getting up in a rush I'm like
where's everyone who's guy is
that yeah it's somebody's man
like the mcginon shot is from
distance at the end
it's at the end of a long they've been they run
around got caught
well I told you
no fitness testing
fat pricks
Devon Taves
from the blue line goes off.
Jack, you're not allowed to use it.
Goes off Sunnihav's glove and in.
McKinnon's shot is from distance.
The McCar, the one shot is, it's just going in.
We can play this game for the...
I wish we could show the goals.
It'd be more fun.
No.
We don't have enough time.
Take up lots of time.
It's not at the time.
Kids are at school at noon.
I don't know if that's going to work.
But, um...
See, we're having fun, folks.
I'm sure we are.
You know what it is?
It's, we all knew they weren't going to be good.
And that's okay.
That is the plan.
But what we're realizing is that it actually would be pretty selfish to want your cake and eat it too,
where it's like, oh, we want you to be really bad, but you have to lose close.
Like, I'm coming to your side of things where it's like, hells are going to be elves.
And look, the young guys aren't quite ready and the old guys aren't quite good.
That's why you're rebuilding.
What, uh, when is the draft?
A June.
Yeah.
No one will be talking about Seattle.
Seattle.
A 6-1 loss in game three, no June.
And people forget, like, it was so dark in San Jose.
They had 8,000 fans, and it was what the hell is going on?
And the owners, like, I don't know that we could ever do this again.
This has been way more painful, I thought.
And then you get a freaking celebrini.
And all of a sudden, like, whose futures do you want more of than the San Jose sharks the next 10 years?
I want to give them a big hug because I want to be the San Jose.
You want to be the sharks.
But you don't want to be Buffalo.
you don't want to be Detroit, you don't want to be Chicago, but you want to be the sharks.
I would be Chicago.
They had to be really bad.
They got their doors for years.
Every day.
Every day. Chicago won three cups.
No, no, no.
I'm talking about the roster today.
Like in fairness, Buffalo had first overall picks.
You're kind of at the mercy of what player is available the year you pick first overall.
For sure.
If Macklin's Celebrini were available.
There's a ton of luck involved.
And it's like some years you're like, this guy's going to be a mega stud.
And he's not.
Like you talked about Nolan Patrick the other day.
Like if Owen's,
power is a shark.
Are we as giddy about the sharks?
Of course not. And so what it is is that
there's no guarantees here.
Connor MacDavid was a saber.
Yeah. Totally different. It should have been.
But it doesn't mean you rebuild
and instantly you're a contender and you have a superstar.
You need luck. And even if you're the
worst team in league by a mile, you still might pick second or
third. Listen, we're living in a simulation.
It's all data. Really? It's all
numbers. It's just odds and stuff.
So are we in the Matrix?
That's true. Devin
Cooley, 23 saves last night.
So it's great news for kids' sport because of Shane Holmes for every save.
Every save makes a difference.
Shane Holmes offering and basically donating five bucks to kids' sport for every save a
flames goaltender makes.
Helping more local kids get off the sidelines into the sports they love.
Every kid deserves a chance to play, grow, and be part of a team.
Shane Holmes, proud to support kids' sport.
Shanehomes.com is the website.
They're doing it all year.
They do it every year.
They are Calgary-based.
They're Calgary, 47 years.
47?
You were dead.
You were so dead, John.
Very dead.
So was Ryan.
Yeah, I was dead.
Yeah, you were dead.
Freshly.
Very proud to be part of the community of Calgary.
Helping and cheering on the flames.
Shane Holmes, they're with this as well.
I can't help.
Shane Calder when I hear the name Shane.
What do you think about what do you think about Shane called her?
Getting beat up by Aaron Ashman and just in, uh,
why would he fight Aaron Ashman?
Well, he used to be a top.
little bastard really yeah calleds and he broke his elbow
oba I was out of game it was his rookie year he was he was we oh he's not much
no Shane called her there at that point when he was 16 years old as a W.H.R.
rookie no he's still low fellow what ended up happened with him I think he's
working a forklift in the potato factor that's right no there's anything wrong with that
no I'd take it I love fries McCain
Like chips too.
Yeah, that's delicious.
What do we think of the posthal at center experiment?
Are we,
I was fine?
One game?
Well, you know what I mean?
Let's play this out for a while.
I agree.
The blender is a little hyper.
It's a little hyperactive.
It's ADHD blender.
Like, it is tough, right?
just leave it for a while.
And then you watch last night, it's like,
I'm not sure I need any more.
Well, I'm a possible.
So I can.
And then it's like, oh, Gridden's going to have a seat
and a Hansick's going to get more.
It's like, it really doesn't take along for Huska to be like,
nope, that crossed the line and we're switching.
And that's fine because there's standards.
But to Rett's point,
for 84 games, there's going to be a lot of fatigue.
You're going to lose guys.
Not only are you not?
I don't know.
I don't like it.
I'm, and I get that the coach is trying,
and he's pushing all the buttons he can push,
but when you're doing it this often, this early,
how do you get any continuity?
Like, they left Nemitz your ball together for one game?
Exactly.
It's all a jumbled mess.
And I'm curious, yeah, because,
and as you sit here,
we've talked about it so many times,
I don't want,
okay, so they're making changes.
Is it because of,
is it poor play?
Is it discipline?
Is it,
you're taking too long or shit?
Like, why?
Yeah, it's the area stuff.
It's the standard wasn't it at all.
Yeah, like how much of it is, is it work ethic or I think there's chemistry or there's not chemistry?
I just, this group is going tonight.
Yeah, I don't know what goes into it.
But I think what's clear is that there's a standard that if you're not at, there's not a lot of patience.
And when you have a young team that's worse in the league, you might need to lift that threshold.
You might have to have.
Do you have young kids?
I, yes.
Jack, do you have young kids?
Oh, yeah, no.
Jack is a young kid.
You ever had young kids?
Yeah.
I had.
Yeah.
And what are they, I'm still not good at it, but they kind of demand that you be somewhat patient.
Yeah.
And so Husk, take that into account.
He's in such a tough spot.
And he's in the spotlight now after this zero stuff.
Okay.
So can I say this?
Is he putting the bull's eye on his own or is he put in the news because of all that he's doing?
Do you know what I mean?
His approach was, listen, I got to let these guys play.
We've got to find a path.
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Instead, he's saying there's...
Right?
Yeah.
The message, even the message out in public and in the media is like,
he's going to be, this is how we're going to do it.
This is the only...
Well, now you're stating that I know how to coach this,
and when it doesn't work and it's seven fucking three,
now it turns around and it points at you.
You got 80 games left.
Instead of saying, listen, this is what we're in.
This is what we have.
This is what I'm going to work with.
I'm going to teach these guys to be professionals and great.
It's not going to happen overnight.
Do you want to hear the same?
I'll say the same thing after the next game and next week and next month.
And in March and April, I'll start to have some evaluating of, yeah, they're coming.
You're coaching your kids, you, whatever it is.
From today until the end of the year, they're going to improve significantly.
That's the message.
Right.
We're working through things.
Yeah.
We're going to figure it out.
It's not a Picasso.
It's not a, right?
I think he said, I think the organization is sending the wrong message.
And when you do the Zeri transaction, it's only going to put the spotlight more on the coach.
And is that Huska saying to Connie, like, look, I've done with this.
Like, we've gone to the well too many times and no results.
Or is it Conroy being like, I got to shake things up.
What do you think about this?
Like, we don't know the impetus of it.
We have hunches, but we don't know.
But it really does turn up the heat on the coach.
Does the clearing of waivers take some of that away, though?
A little, but then it's like, oh, he didn't develop him properly.
Like, if he's still on the roster, it doesn't feel like Huska's on trial as much he is.
And he probably isn't in the organization, but just this fan base.
Like, the conversations you're having are like, is this the right coach for a rebuild?
And I think he's a great coach.
But the fan base is like, well, what happened to Zeri then?
If he's so good at developing kids, you know,
like if he's not in the minors,
we're not having that chat.
And I'm not saying that because fans are talking about
that this is the very logical and factual,
but it does put the temperature up a bit on the coach.
And again,
what we talked about,
patience,
there's been zero.
Yeah,
zero.
We're going to work with last spring.
Oh,
we're going to,
maybe they hate each other.
I don't give a shit,
but last spring,
it's like,
no,
we had frickin Conroy on him,
what,
in September.
Yeah.
Now I've got to see these kids play.
Three weeks ago.
Yeah.
One game?
Yeah.
It's interesting.
So it just looks panic driven.
It does.
What is what is precipitating the the bingo balls, the flopping around?
Because I don't get the sense that Huska is a vengeful coach.
No.
I'm going to stick it to this.
I'm going to send a mess.
I'm going to teach you a less.
I don't think that's it.
I feel like he's behind the bench, obviously trying to win.
Yeah.
And weighing that.
internal struggle he has to have as a coach between we need the next goal and I can't sit
Nemich down because he well you're sitting twice turn his so I you're right I think you're
I think we're seeing it correctly I think that they should have a big fricking group get together
and go for beers with pinder yes get pissed up and have a little chit-chat and I'm talking
Pascal and Don Maloney and Craig and the coaching staff and say,
Listen,
we're in this.
There's no,
raising the stress level and trying to oversteer this is not going to help.
No. Like,
we're getting tossed about in the waves here.
Let's just pick a path.
Like I said with Detroit,
how their record is going to ultimately dictate what happens.
Do you think it gets to a.
point here where it just like we feel like we see it where what they do that or they have to
take when you stop hammering the buttons as the coach and you're just like okay yeah but then it's
worse because you I thought we were about a standard what happened to the standard now you
that's what I'm saying you are now really putting the the bullseye or the noce around your own
next because you're going well no we're going to be to this your 15 games
back you've got eight points halfway through the season what are you talking about what's the standard
how's it working out then you have to go i'm going to change it well now you look like a flippy floppy
and that's what we do you know what everyone's waiting for and then we're like it's it's hilarious to
say because we're still very early days in the season but it's like if you sell some vets and you
call up some kids and you sign the guys from college but now that's happened until april boys march
yeah like and so you're not playing gridden and you're bench and hansook and zary's gone
making changes and what the
what I believe is happening
is that he's been here, this is his
fourth season I believe he's head coach
and there has been a standard that has been
very clear for three years
he's going to have to move the bar
because this group sucks.
They're not bad humans.
They're not non-NHLers.
But go put this forward
group against any other in the NHL.
It is so devoid
of playmakers. You have to change the standard
of it and I get the work thing like
we can be untalienable, we have to work.
I get that.
But when the blender is buzzing.
You're going to lose guys.
In the first period, every game,
it's just like, here we bleep and go again.
Who's my line mate?
What's his name?
Where was he last week?
What league?
I'm proud of you for making a strong comment.
And I think he's a very good coach.
We talk about it.
It's the toughest spot.
It's very tough.
And I think he's taking the wrong angle towards.
We'll see who we adjust because he will.
He's no dummy.

Atcoenergy.com is that website.
I like the penders hungover look right now.
A little pale.
And a new hat.
The boys played on the Rangers in the spring.
So we got the big T hat.
Cool.
Nice.
That's not Texas.
Not Texas.
But you're not in Texas.
I'm sure not,
and I really don't like the Rangers.
I do like Marcus Simian.
He was a good,
Blue Jay.
I don't understand the T.
Texas.
Yeah, but they're not in Texas.
Your kid's team was not in Texas.
In Little League,
there'll be 20 teams,
and each one gets a major league,
Jersey and name.
Right.
And they were the Rangers this year.
Okay.
But the Rangers are an R or not a T.
Yeah, they wear the Rangers gear.
So one year we were the brewers, one year were the Blue Jays,
one year were the Mets, this year we were the range.
Was the Brewers have a beef?
We just wear the Brewers logo.
Or an M from Milwaukee.
It's the logo.
Stupid.
Cal West, I could get you the board members.
No, phone number of it.
Feels like the kind of copyright infringement that could take down an entire minor ball association.
Settled out.
Who's this Cal guy anyway?
Yeah, seriously.
That happened in, I remember in Winnipeg.
It was they were the,
Yeah, but it's
Manitoba Panthers.
The Florida Panthers said,
Hey,
don't think that's going to work.
Would you change to the pandas?
I don't know what they did.
Oh,
pandas are robots,
apparently.
They're which?
Robots.
No.
Janas?
Yeah.
Pandas are robots.
I don't want to get into it.
Well, it's coming up on the next episode
of societal idiots.
I don't want to steal the Sunday.
That's a hell of a conspiracy.
I haven't heard that one.
All right.
um handas are robots
he just slides it in
now i'm i'm putting
and after yesterday's Pinda report
a little fearful of what
there's no footwear in today's program
and the tie-in was
the tie-in there was no tie-in
got the great say
no save mood
what did you do again you blame it on big fat guy
that big fat guy
so you got a shirt
and he didn't like so he said that
well about some shoes
because the people love rat.
No.
Still doesn't work.
None of that worked.
That's as hard as I've heard Jack laugh
in a couple weeks.
Don't do that.
It's quite a standard to get him to giggle.
Do you know why he's laughing though?
At you.
Well, I don't really care why.
It's laughing.
No, he's laughing at you for putting it on the show.
It's better with.
He's like, I can't believe Ryan put this on the show.
He pulled us off.
He asked me.
He's like, no, where were those?
I'd like to buy them.
No one.
I'm going to wear them because of the Crouchoogel classic.
He doesn't leave his house.
So those are not slippers that he just.
So I was going to say, we have our,
our GAMTEC fail of the week.
But I put, you guys have picked it.
I've not seen it.
Oh, it's not a shoe.
This is fine.
It doesn't have anything to do it.
Last week, whatever, whatever it was,
it was going to be the dog pooping on et cetera ice video.
Was Ryan's fail of the week then.
Yeah, he's best.
Which I thought, okay, well, thank goodness.
we have something else, we won't, oh, it showed up anyway.
Yeah.
Chose to.
The flyers, they get seven bagel to the penguin?
Gamtec is a Calgary company, started here in 2012, still headquartered here.
They're taking care of businesses across the country.
The IT department for small and mid-sized businesses, typically 20 to 100, maybe 500 people.
Smaller company, you got no IT people.
You have no IT person or you do, and they're swamped.
Security is a big.
deal with small business. They're SOC2 certified, a certified B corp, which is rare for an IT provider.
You may not think you need them, but you probably do. If you've lost any amount of time to your
business with computers just being shut down, you kind of know.
Gamtec.ca.ca is the website, a free, no obligation quote, because you don't want to have a failure.
You don't need things to take you down. Right. So our fail of the week, who picked it?
Jackie films.
Me and Ryan.
See, already he's
passed it off.
This is a jack.
No one's taking ownership.
This is never a good sign, folks.
Two minis sitting over there.
He loves it. I thought he thought it was great.
He thought it was funny.
Now, Dean, you love paragliding.
Do you guys not know what's funny?
There is an unwritten rule.
If you're at a baseball game, you catch a foul ball.
There's a kid nearby.
Uh-huh.
You know what you have to do.
Sure.
This was a fail.
You give it to the kit.
This was a fail.
I'm sorry.
I can't.
I'm not giving you to the kid.
I fear it fast.
He's that guy.
Oh.
Look at a kid.
I can't.
Brutal.
That's Jack's idiot buddies.
They wouldn't give it to the kid.
You know what?
His buddies would.
They actually probably would.
They would.
Got some.
An immediate.
says I'm not doing it. Like he knows protocol.
This is not my first baseball game.
I don't know what, I didn't know that. He's insane.
Look at this guy. Are you kidding me?
Right to jail. No trial.
You know what? That makes you want to cheer against the Dodgers if you don't want to already.
Societal idiots.
Societal idiots. Good thing. Guys got his headband on though, right?
Whatever that.
Look, I should work it hard. Holds the sweat out of his eyes.
He's been taking candy for babies all day. He's working up sweat.
Look how excited he is. He's texting somebody.
Look at this.
How a bull.
Get out of here, you dork.
That's a face you'd like to punch.
They're just punchable.
Yeah.
Look at this kid.
Not that it.
I'm not sure about the haircut.
It's our fan.
Our fail of the week for GamTech.
You don't like bowls?
Gametech.com.com.
For a free, no obligation quote.
Did that one pass, boom?
That's, thank you.
Yeah.
See?
And you two chicken shits wouldn't take overshar of it.
you know what it didn't have
penis shoes
yeah just pretty clear
what it didn't have
you know I love it because like
now you'll have much emphasis
on trying to upset Dino and I
sometimes it's not about that
but his threshold is like well that's just that
should be on the show and it's like you literally are making
incest jokes about me and my sister in Mexico
I don't get it how like when you say it the standards here
but when Pindert is like well that's just embarrassing for the brain
that was very that was very off the same
and you showed no remorse.
And everyone was like,
what are you talking about?
And you know what it is?
You keep bringing it up.
Yeah,
because it crossed the line.
It was worse than penis shoes.
It's like Jack at Thanksgiving going upstairs.
Offside.
Jack in the laundry pile.
Jesus, Jack,
settled out.
We're going to need a therapist in here.
Come on, fellas.
Hosting again this year, Rick?
Not.
Put a new lock on the door.
Let's do this.
All right.
And it's time for the Pinda report.
Our great friends at Village Honda present the Pinder report.
Here's the deal.
The 2026 CRV clearout is on now at Village Honda.
It's Canada's favorite SUV made for Canada for Canadians, made in Canada.
You got to love it.
The remaining 2026 CRV models get going.
Savings right now will inventory last built for Alberta roads in our changing seasons,
which, yeah, that's going to be this weekend.
We get the season change.
It sounds like getting a special weather alert on the phone.
no good.
Phil Chonda,
your dealership
for life
in the Northwest
Autoball
Amvick licensed
dealership.
We start with
daily face off.
Beyond the box score.
Fourth straight blowout.
You know,
I didn't think about it
that way.
And, you know,
we can quibble about a
4-1 loss in
Vancouver that was a
very close game
until the end.
But none of these,
like the best they've done
is lose by three.
Hoy.
Yeah, I think a lot of people
are very aware of that.
Blow-up.
Yeah.
Like 4-1.
didn't feel like a ball, but maybe it's because it was bookended by six one losses.
Yeah, no, I think there are minus 17 goals for goals against.
We saw the record for the worst goal differential through three games, and they were flirting.
Through four, they got to be hanging as well.
Oh, yeah, it's another.
Like another dash four, add that to the, put that on the fire.
Also on the website, there are some, you know, reasons to be optimistic, certainly not about
this season, but.
Two more guys on the big squad up from the American League.
Castanio gets his first point last night,
albeit a DZone apple,
but hey,
rather see the kids than the vets.
We've seen over,
I just think of over the years,
some of the players who have come up and,
yeah,
it felt like it was maybe forced into the lineup or whatever.
I liked Castania last night.
He's a center.
Right,
like he's,
I thought he was in on,
I thought he made some plays.
He won,
what did he end up being here in this?
again, that line, you probably would like to have seen a little bit more of it.
We don't need to go back there and do all that again.
Nine minutes and nine seconds.
He was three for three at the dot.
So I'm going 50% on the dot at the NHL in your first game against the Avil.
I liked him.
21.
I like that.
This isn't a 24-year-old college free agent.
He's very much a prospect.
So good on you.
Nice debut.
There's room at the end if you play center.
So keep her going.
Okay, keep moving.
Avs,
yeah, good.
It'd be fun to watch, hey?
That's what you want.
I mean, when you dream about a rebuild,
this is what,
this is the dream you want.
What's that song?
Dreams can come true.
Remember that one?
No, you're going to say,
I do.
Oh, yeah.
That's a little R&B 90s pop.
Yeah, that's right.
I remember listen to that in Hertford,
in the mall, the rink at the mall.
It is called Dreams,
and I believe it's by Gabrielle.
Gabriel.
All done,
do you know?
Well,
DJ Boomcat.
All the,
in all the starts in the history of the National
Hockey League,
through four games,
the abs are hanging with the best of all time.
Ah, show-offs.
But they're not as good as those 80s.
Not as the 89-night flames.
They'll tell you about it.
And then we won the cup,
and the next year we came out of the gates fly in rent.
Shut up.
Shut up.
Get me nowhere.
Damn it, Lanny.
I've heard this story.
That would have been fun
because that would have been
the first year of Gretzky there,
right?
In L.A.?
889.
Your four games in,
26 goals.
You'd be like,
what is happening here with this?
This has been a good trade.
It was the hot ticket in L.A., right?
That was the whole thing.
It was like,
it went from like,
yeah,
there's a pro hockey team here
to like,
yeah,
you gotta go see Wade.
This Retsky guy is pretty good,
apparently.
I love Charlie Simmer,
but this guy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Taylor, hell of a guy.
But this guy.
Well, congrats to the abs.
We told yesterday it's not too soon
And that means today it's still not too soon
Let's take a look at the bottom friends
Because
Nice
Perfect
Perfecto
That's how David
Perfecto
Yeah
David Perfecto
What are we doing Philly?
I don't know what Phil is up to
You know what's happening is the heat's getting turned up
Not only we talked about
With other coaches on bad starts
But Brick Tockett's teams
Are known for being structured, defensive
and really struggling to score goals.
I got one last night.
That's not enough.
Because you know, Disco Dan Fladaris
isn't going to have back-to-back career years.
He's going to be fine.
I believe you could be arrogant enough
to say, I don't want to go play for the Flyers,
like Cudder Goce and Dylan Larkin?
Like, the hell's wrong.
They got all this power, man.
Kids today.
It's true.
Kids.
We've told you the flames have struggled out of the gate,
but some people need it,
in statistical like Rett's brain, very
mathematical. The simulation.
The top right means you're good. The bottom left
means you're bad and there's a bit of space
between the flames and second worst.
So you have the goals for, not
good, but also the goals against, very bad.
Not the combo you're looking for. The aves
and the other side look very good at
both departments.
Did you compile that?
Yeah, sure. That's what I do.
They're not close to anyone.
No, if you literally took the flames out of the league,
the graph would look different.
They had to expand it a lot to the left.
They could come up and end.
Like we're going west.
Yeah, if you count,
wait a minute,
we're missing one.
We're going to keep making these logos smaller
so we can make the,
yeah, we zoom out,
zoom out, zoom out.
Zoom out.
There are the flames.
Got a tough start,
no doubt.
Finals last night, Jackie.
Let's take a peek,
a little lap around the league.
We love those Tuesday, Thursday slates.
Lots of busy one.
The bruves look good.
Score goals.
Incredible rate, Harry.
Petrker Revenge spot.
I think I saw Pastor Rippin' one of the last.
The Hasta had two?
Oh, man.
Geeks had a goal and two helpers?
Geeks!
He had a great year last year, didn't he?
Yes, he did.
Stars had that ugly O and two start.
They only had one goal.
Yeah, they've gone five, nothing, four nothing since then.
No, three months.
Not happy.
That was a big 12th.
I don't know how many points Audjure got for his competition.
26.
Second straight shut out for the otth dog.
Sabers have not scored a power play goal this season.
Really?
0 413
jeez
i'm ready i'm ready to throw the towel in with age
i'm telling you
it's so early
i know but there's so many good
teams it's a tough division that's fair
i got hope for the sabers red
uh the o'n power points your
obviously comes to an end they could shut out
son of uh nashville shocked the habs
didn't shock anyone in nashville
Nashville Nashville damn well knew they were in
habs had a two nothing lead yeah
gave up five unanswered.
They've lost,
they've lost three straight
of the Kennedy.
And Demadov's out,
and the speculation is,
hey, that ran O'Reilly looked pretty good.
Maybe a Hage,
O'Reilly,
last year of O'Reilly's deal,
they've been very cautious
of not rocking the boat,
but if he's going to move,
it's this year.
O'Reilly had the game winner.
There you go.
Philly loses two to one to the Sends.
They, oh, boy, was Eklund went down?
William Eklund,
Got hit by Simone Benoit crashed into the boards, left leg injury, did not return.
Not great, Bob.
Former hitman Carter Yakumchuk.
Yes.
Been waiting to see him out there.
Picked up in fantasy last night.
Somebody liked the box score.
Tampa 3-2 winners at home, a pair from John Carlson.
Remember they go.
A fun game to watch this one.
Yeah, I like those two teams.
Boy, a lot of goals for the Cains.
In fact, it was a Logan Stankov and Natty-Hattie as they win 7-2 over the Canucks.
Islanders 4-1 winners over the Hawks,
blues in overtime against the shocks.
San Jose gets the win beyond regulation.
We told you about the flames.
Field goal to a touchdown and the Leafs
and Golden Knights went to overtime,
solved nothing to the shootout,
saw some pretty narly dangles.
Was Braden Bowman had a nice move early?
They end up winning the shootout four to three,
but entertaining overtime.
Marner against his old crew.
On the sharks, just to double back,
no celebrini again.
Yeah, two days, lower bottom.
Kind of rush him back.
Pretty quiet, yeah, on that.
Since entering the league, he hasn't missed a lot of hockey.
Yeah, fair.
Sharks are 4, 10, and 1 without him.
Yeah.
Since he's arrived.
And they were bad when they got there.
All three sharks have three wins, all in overtime.
All beyond regulation.
Well, yeah, they beat Florida beyond regulation.
There you go.
Okay, we shall keep moving.
Point streaks.
Let's look at the league leaders.
We're a few games in.
Lot of Orange.
And Jack Eichel.
And you'd understand why if you've seen the Oilers.
This graphic.
Yeah, it's early.
It's very early.
You know who's on that list that's surprising, though.
And he's also right up there in hits, which is even more surprising.
Elise Pedersen, all of a sudden, start to look more like the salary he's making.
You buying in?
I am.
Really?
Well, here's the thing.
Whoa.
Here's the thing.
Four games.
Matt.
No, but let me explain it.
And you can say I'm an idiot once I've done explaining.
I've already.
If this was all secondary helpers and the points are there,
and it's like, this could be a mirage.
But he's out there, laying the body out.
That is a choice to work and invest yourself and do things that aren't easy.
That's what he's been missing.
It's the motivator cuff.
It looks like it's fixed.
Worst take of the day, Rhett?
How much Vancouver Canucks hockey has Ryan watched?
So because he's gotten hits.
The one game against Caldron.
Well, no, it's just that's not who he is.
So it shows you that there's been a willingness to change.
or the way he's going about business.
Press pause here.
So the stats man in Vancouver has decided to give him hits.
Stats man.
Now he's bad hits.
I'm happy for him because he was terrible.
I still think he was very bad.
I think it's a much better version.
I don't know that we'll ever get back to flirting with him.
And I'll tell you what, if he keeps hitting, that's worse.
Because then he's going to get hurt because he ain't big.
He's like Shane Calder.
He's a wee last.
He's a wee.
running around hitting people.
That's not your game, son.
Two goals, six helpers.
Elias Fidersson is second in the NHL with 21 hits.
That is unelect.
This is a flag you're going to play.
No, no, no.
I wanted to see where he ranked because there was a couple games,
but to your point, maybe some guys microdosen
keeping track of the hits up in the press box.
But you're buying in.
I think it looks like a motivated Pedersen.
We've never doubted the skill.
No, you're right.
Yeah.
So maybe it tails off and the losing gets to him again,
but new coach, new beginning, new GM.
I've liked to start.
We'll see how it goes.
Elsewhere, Stan Covem with the natural hat trick,
as we saw the Caroline Hurricanes put up a seven spot.
15th natural hat trick.
Even strength, power play short-handed.
Boho.
But what were about former conduct last got to do at 2025?
One on the power play, one short-handed, one even straight.
Boho got hurt last night.
Oh, dear.
He got hit by a hobo is what I would call.
Nazar.
Yeah, Frank's going to have a chit chat with the league.
In fact, that was announced earlier today that he's got a hearing.
A legal check to the head, retro.
Take that.
Islanders might be in trouble.
Schaefermania last year.
I like the coach they brought in.
They're not there yet.
There's a lot of hot takes on the old barn burner today.
Jack will be busy.
It's warming up in here.
It's getting toasting.
Gather around children and sit by the hot takes.
We'll roast marshmallows.
Other NHL news, this is odd.
I didn't sort of see this one coming,
and you never really do until it does,
but way less than a sell-out in Vegas
for the first time ever,
a Golden Knights non-COVID game.
That's, you're missing almost 2K.
So they've been lying for a while,
then they finally decided to finally.
Well, there is a bit of that.
But also it's, well, you know,
they're playing a small market Leafs team.
They don't travel.
Yeah, that seems odd that it would be.
Right?
Like, you'd think this is one of the easier solds of the year,
Mariner against the old team.
Got to go to the Leaks game in there here.
Something to watch.
It's not a huge market,
but it has been a slam dunk from day one there.
Also very expensive tickets.
And fans are like, yeah,
I'll show up in the spring when it matters.
Let's keep going.
Someone in Winnipeg, I'm proud of you.
Like, I really am.
Oh, I can only imagine.
Because, uh, Connor, not playing.
And someone's got like, this is, look at this.
They're counting on much money's missed.
This is live to the second.
I admire this.
Jack, this is increasing at an incredible rate.
Yeah, let's just watch this.
This reminds me of two things.
One, somebody had, uh, done something similar for how much money A-Rod was making.
Oh, God.
When Arod signed the richest contract in baseball.
And also, free plug to Olive Garden.
They used to have the breadstick counter on their website.
So you could just see how many breadsticks.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
And remember the old McDonald's, billions.
Billions certainly.
Yeah, we got everyone.
He stopped bragging.
But look, since we opened the website, he's already lost 40 bucks.
A couple green bills.
That's quick.
It happens quick.
He's sleeping.
You get a good snooze.
you might be out a couple grand.
I'll tell you what, Connor,
you can give that money to charity.
If you don't want it, I'll take it.
Well, he doesn't have it.
That's what he's missing.
Geez.
I don't have this ends well.
I really don't.
Because I don't think teams want a goalie
that's been on the coach.
I don't know if it's all or not.
I just want it to end.
45 cents a second?
Every second.
Now, is this Canadian or American?
This is USDA because that's salary.
Gotcha.
So we got to convert this.
38 grand a day.
Like,
That's a nice boat every few weeks, Rhett.
The new Paragon has a toilet.
Ryan back to you.
You've been shopping here?
Spend me some tunes.
We'll take a look around the NHL tonight.
Dino.
Seattle and Dieteroy.
Look out for that Seattle squad.
Boy, they can score.
Take the over.
There's one in the...
Seattle's still so new.
I know, but they would have taken to one of the expansion.
Oh, you're talking about...
We're doing the game.
You're still talking about toilets on boats?
Yeah.
Nice boat.
Put that on the lake.
Where does it go?
Does it go in the lake?
Head.
Like that.
Oh, I don't want to see any...
It's got a canister.
You're going to have wonder bars in the lake.
Who did they go in the draft?
The expansion draft.
Damn it.
Can I look at the roster?
You're going to have to, but we're going to feel bad because we should know that.
But it's, it's
Come on, we're going to include the fans.
Okay, we're going to skip for a moment.
Ra, Rangers and Capitals.
Like a jillian.
A jillian.
Rod Langway.
Done.
No.
No.
No.
There's a jillian.
No.
No.
A yager, that's the easy one.
He's my friend.
Tom Kite.
It's a golfer.
Great golfers.
Jim Kite.
I was like, Tom.
That sounds like, he was a golfer.
Remember when Thomas that puff?
The prentishol.
Don't.
Look at a one legend.
You're at. Never Change Your Legend.
Penguins and Blue Jackets.
Chinakaw.
Oh, they did this.
It's a nice little deal. Jack like that.
Dubus is cooking jack.
Yeah, sure.
Ducks and Jets.
Kilger.
Ooh.
Jets 1.0.
No.
Like, do we, how do we do this now?
So was he an original jet before they went to Arizona?
He was a jet for a year.
They just got the history from the league officially?
No, he was drafted by the Ducks, and it was Kilger and Tevrodovsky.
He came for Salernia.
Right.
You got to win.
Great trade.
All right.
Devar dovrodoskin.
That'll work.
Thank you, really.
Yeah.
If we're now, because Gary took all the jet stuff and smushed them together, is that
where we're...
What the hell's just Gary think he is some kind of magician?
He just does what he wants.
Waves his wand and all of a sudden, they get the history books.
So when we look at the jets.
For these purposes, we're looking at thrashers, coyotes and jets, all-time jets.
Yeah, until they give a team back to Phoenix, then they'll get there.
Well, that makes it easier for us then.
Yeah, it does.
We need a little help there.
It should be a lot.
Yeah.
So really?
I know.
Seattle, Detroit.
Who the hell was it?
We should know the guy they took the expansion draft.
I'm losing my mind here.
No idea.
Well, how the hell should we know that?
You think I heard?
Because we're going to say the name and you're going to be like, oh, shit, I should have remembered that.
That's why. Let's do it.
Seattle.
One in the chat, habit.
Definitely be a duster.
Yeah, they didn't exactly
slay in that expansion draft, did they?
Come on, you guys.
Pull it together. Where's just comments?
Just cheat.
Nobody in the comments has it?
No.
What the hell's going on?
Nobody's listening? Are we on the air?
People are talking about the Oilers.
Oh, my God.
That's what Oilers fans do.
They come and hang out in our chat group.
80 games left.
Enjoy your dress rehearsal.
Detroit.
The hell did they pick.
Dennis Cholosky.
Really?
I shouldn't remember that.
Why should you remember that?
No, you shouldn't.
Dennis Chalowski.
Hello.
What the hell are we doing here?
Never heard of them.
Let's move.
Enough of that.
We go to Major League Baseball.
Boys, you got a series.
We got a banger tomorrow night, Red.
Back.
in the land.
Cleveland?
Finally a game that I can get into.
They rock in Cleveland.
That's right.
And J-RAM is pumped up.
He's been very good.
Who?
Jose Ramirez.
Jay-Ram.
This stupid Texas Rangers had him.
You can't use the nickname.
You don't know what the real name.
Well, I did say the real name.
But you had to think about it.
I always want to say the R-T.
That is the MLB.
I was going to say that as the MLB.
That's not your kids team.
I told you.
I got the Rangers at because the kids played.
I got us taken off there.
Yeah, right.
You can't wear a merchandise.
That's leagues don't.
We sell it all this merch,
but you can't wear it.
It's Saturday's game.
It should be a banger.
They get an off date today.
I don't know if we're allowed to talk baseball now.
You got the hat on it.
It's canceled.
There are your eyes.
Who is the guy that out of the Brewers?
He's going to come down here.
Who is the guy that owned the Brewers?
The old guy, Bud's ceiling to use car sales?
Oh, man.
Guardians' favorite here, as you can see, they'll be at home.
It is a 6 o'clock start on Saturday.
Offday today, that should be a banger.
And we get our first championship series game on Sunday,
the Dodgers in Miliwakee.
Please, Miliwakei.
Which is Algonquin for the good land.
Don't do it.
Please, brew crew.
Yeah, I'm in.
I'm in for the brew crew.
We've done this before when the brew crew was in the playoff.
Yeah, they had a good year.
They've been on a nice little run here last few years.
Well, we were at the radio station.
Oh, really?
We were going to buy hats and stuff.
We were going to really get into it.
Because the Jay stunk.
They still stink.
Sad news in the NFL today as a league icon is passed away.
Mike Ditka, 1939, they built him different.
He passed away the news being sent from his family, a icon in Chicago,
bigger than you probably could imagine a player coach even could be in a city that
Love that team.
It wasn't just Chicago.
This guy was,
dude,
they had Saturday Night Live skits about it.
Like it's,
he was a demigod.
Ditka's resume,
an impressive one.
He kind of revolutionized
the tight end position
when he played,
a five-time pro bowler,
Hall of Famer,
first tight end ever to get in the hall.
And then he comes as a coach
and two championships with,
D-Bairs,
Super Bowl champion is a player,
assisted and head coach,
the 85.
Now what was the nickname for that group?
Because they had the crazy defense.
Well, they had the Super Bowl shuffle.
That's right.
There, yeah.
Well, the Super Bowl shuffle was because they played the Bengals.
They had the.
Did it song?
The fridge.
Yep.
Rejured Perry.
Yeah.
That's why I named my kid.
Brilliant.
Is it?
Yeah.
That makes sense.
So that, that news came out this morning, but a hell of a life.
Man, touched a lot of lives.
And apparently, very generous man.
Restaurants in the city, like icon of Chicago.
Thursday football.
Oh boy, did we get shocked.
There's how are they going to do it?
It's not enough points.
Cowboys are going to romp.
Dak Prescott against some unproven rookie.
This is just not fair fight.
And it was all bucks.
Bucky.
And Bucky.
They ran the ball well.
It's true.
Jalen Daniels,
much better in his second start than his first.
He was very good.
I could tell he played six years of college football.
Six years?
Yeah.
Is you a doctor?
Did she study's the last one?
He's making up courses to do?
This is one of those things we talked about right at the outset.
You do wonder, if all the NFL's scripted, this would be a scripted type thing,
where you have this offense of the Cowboys that came back a week ago.
I was like, who's good?
And this box team without a quarterback and Mike Evans doesn't play there anymore.
They're hurting.
Like they were up against what people thought was the best.
defense in the league last year last week.
And they got a huge number on it.
And then the bucks lump in
with a Joe Schmoat quarterback,
who great story,
hope he does well,
but like awful his first start
probably wasn't ready.
And it wasn't even close.
And Cowboys got a late touchdown.
Like Pickens,
I was a fourth quarter of like,
yes.
And it was turnovers and Dak looked brutal.
He got into it with an employee.
He was walking off the field of the locker room
and someone muttered under their breath.
It's embarrassing.
It's embarrassing.
And then Dax's,
say, oh, what are you saying?
And he just turned and walked.
And so, Dax said, look, it was embarrassing,
but I want you to look me in the eye when you're insulting me.
So Dax got rules about how you insult him.
He should shut up.
He's got scruples.
Maybe don't throw the picks.
They won't say that.
Turn over the ball.
The butcher's not happy.
No, he won't be happy.
He's busy.
He's swamped.
I'm busy and this.
He'll be in a foul mood today.
I got to see him in an hour.
Don't bring up Sam Bennett.
Don't bring up the Cowboys.
uh that's jack terrible pick also take the over oh i mean the hell you think the bucks would just control
the ball for 40 minutes run run just munching a clock yeah they did their part though uh stamps big one
to morrow in winnipeg win and you're in so huge game when it's a lot going on yeah i would have
expected.
I think Connor
Halvex gonna be there,
uh, flipping the coin.
Oh, he's there.
He's watch,
he's just waiting for the call.
He's definitely in Winnipeg, right?
You want me?
I'm here.
It can be any of the world,
but you can get big bombers
staffs game.
He's just sitting at home looking at that ticker.
Fuck.
Honey,
if you think,
should I,
it's got it on the big screen.
Made it.
Maybe made a terrible mistake.
Hey, agent.
I appreciate this.
All right.
Mr.
agent, man.
do I get this back when I,
is this website?
Oh,
this doesn't get because Larkin,
he doesn't have a website. Like I'm still
on the 15th.
Like I'm still getting paid, right?
But the new team that I go to, they'll
include it. Is it now you?
Do I get back? I get the back payments.
Yeah.
It's put in escrow till I.
Yeah.
No.
And finally, big shout out to,
God, he must hate Winnipeg.
Oh, look at the Jets. They're like,
we're saving how many million this month?
This is great.
Everything's coming up to Winnipeg.
He'll he is.
Great start.
I hope not tomorrow.
No.
No.
Oh, not for the football team.
Gosh, no.
No, we need VA to stay hot, baby.
Is Caleros back?
I don't know.
Jack's our CFO and so.
Jack, what's the update on Zach Cloros?
He's questionable, right?
You rolled with that one.
That's good, yeah.
Finally, one of Rett's really good pals,
Mike Gould, his debut in the Calgary Sun yesterday.
If you could just avert your eyes from the free toilet ad,
Mike is writing about the flame.
Poor might.
Somehow it all works together, doesn't it?
Freak, I could have.
Because I have to be honest with you.
If you cut this page in half,
one of these things has piqued my interest more than the other.
It's Showtime Flames and Freetwa and 1500s.
Hmm.
What did Gould have to say about the Flames?
Oh, I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm not sure.
I'm going to get our toilet.
It's being delivered.
Well, gold's writing in number two's.
Match made in heaven.
Congrats, Michael.
That's your pin to report this Friday.
October 9th, our friends at Village Honda,
they don't want to be the bad news, people.
You got the weather app, though.
You know what's happening?
It's winter tires season.
Winter tires, Honda expertise,
and a price you can feel good about.
Honda tire source at Village Honda is backed by Honda's lowest price guarantee for tires.
Drive with greater confidence this winter.
obviously a winter tire designed to improve traction,
breaking control on snow ice and cold Alberta roads.
It's your dealership for life for the Northwest
to Automol if you find a lower advertised price
with 30 days of purchasing any of the following brands,
Michelin, Toyo, Goodyear, BF Goodrich,
Dunlop, Firestone, Unile, Hankook,
Yokohama, General Tires, Pirelli and Continental
they'll match that lower price. Some exceptions apply.
It's a little fine print there.
Yeah, you get a deal. It's only watch for it.
You got to lodge for it.
Do you go to the microwave?
I like that bakery.
Let's do our picks.
Bet 365, official gaming partner, a barn burner in a game like hockey.
Even for the full of football.
I guess.
Pays to be early.
The same goes at bet 365.
Whether it's the early bird specials, boosted pregame odds, instant midgame payouts with early payout,
they are the barn for winning early this season, bet three six five, the home of winning early.
In Alberta only must be 18 years of age.
Please play responsibly.
all right
Highly
Highly recommend
taking
into this
croissant
fellows
why they look
good
a croissant
did you heat it up
Brett
it was hot
before
yeah I got to
feeling good
I don't know
why
I've been dog shit
this year
let's take a peek
of this
I love
Buffalo getting
three and a half
the Rams
you know
they had to
grind to beat
Philly
it should be
a good game
I think
it's within a
field goal for
sure
Buffalo
might win
it straight up
retro
the Niners
face
Seattle, but they're not quite right, Seattle.
They don't have a run game.
We don't know if Zach Charbonnet is going to be back.
Judarian Price is out.
Niners, for all their injuries, have been unbelievable.
Brock Purdy, probably your MVP candidate at this point,
the early leader.
Denver gets the Chargers.
That means it's easy money because the Chargers are dog shirt.
And I like Atlanta with Pennix back.
They've been the number one offense of the NFL the last two weeks.
So I will take the Falcons minus three.
Who do the Falcons, play the Ravens?
Ravens will be without Lamar, which is the big thing.
Yeah.
It sounds like it's Tyler Huntley, Snoop Huntley.
He's up for sure, yeah.
So, uh, no Lamar and Atlanta's been running the ball really well with the B. Robinson's.
I want to ask you guys questions.
Okay.
You know me so well.
Yep.
Why did I pick those teams?
What's the common theme?
Hmm.
Buffalo, Sam, San, Detroit, Las Vegas, Cleveland.
It's because I want to cheer for those teams, guys.
I was going to say because Buffalo, I think, is at home.
Sanfran's in Seattle.
Not at home.
You're going to stay in Motown.
The spheres.
Teams I want to cheer for them.
There is.
You've always been.
I'm a big San Fran guy.
Detroit, Motown.
Let's go.
Pull it around.
Your hockey team stinks.
We need something to cheerboat.
Detroit.
Vegas.
I love Vegas.
And you've always loved to Sean Watson.
So go Browns.
And the Browns are, Cleveland is very buffalo-ish.
It is.
What is Cleveland?
They've been, got to be tough in Cleveland.
So it's stabby, but.
Is that what the combination is?
It's a stabby combo or, no, just teams you like.
Okay.
Teams I like.
There you go.
Dude.
Oh, Dino.
This is a serious, Reed.
You're putting faith in the Chargers?
Guys, what weekend is it?
It's Thanksgiving weekend.
And to help celebrate and commemorate, I'm saying thanks for the points.
Oh.
Thank you for the points.
I like that.
Ryan, the Chargers last week.
So pushed against the Seattle Seahawks.
Push.
They've got Denver.
Denver back-to-back road games.
They're getting over a field goal at home to Denver.
They have no offensive linemen.
I'm sorry.
Give me the points.
The Saints getting two and a half against the Minnesota Vikings.
The 4-0 Vikes.
Two of the wins, they didn't score touchdowns.
Jeez.
New Orleans, what they get on Monday night?
You know what they got?
Embarrassed.
Wake up call.
They got embarrassed.
They're going to go home.
They're going to win this one outright over the Vikes, handling the first loss.
I'm taking the points.
Okay.
The Titans, they're at home to the Houston Texans.
The Texans, more than a touchdown on the road.
It is a lot of points.
I understand.
Oh, Nico.
Give me the points.
And the New York Giants.
Famous James.
Taking on the commanders.
The commanders just got rolled up in London.
They got to come back from London.
Oh, they're going to do this.
Jet Lake.
It's a radiation rat.
Corin's not playing.
And the Giants are like, hey, we'll take the four and a half points.
Who's the four about James Winston?
Famous Jamis.
She's right.
Write it down.
Malik neighbors, Cam Scataboo.
So on Thanksgiving weekend,
I'm going to just say across the board,
thank you for all the points for these teams as I go for.
That's a nice theme, almost as good as Rets.
I want to cheer for these teams.
So I'm picking them.
I can't believe you guys didn't pick up on that.
Now, Jack, you've been avoiding picking winners against the spread.
You're just hammering over unders and your red.
I'm just hammering underers.
I don't know who's good.
I don't know who's bad.
So we're just going to keep doing this until it fails me.
Philly and Jack's middle.
They're heading to London.
Philly is a complete disaster.
They are.
Their best old linemen is like,
I'm done, retire.
They have no running backs.
They traded their guard too.
They traded their center, yeah.
So the Ravens out.
Sequan's hurt.
Yeah,
shambles.
Just a disaster.
Will Shippley is going to be running back one because she'll whipley.
Can I pick them up?
I got him.
I got them.
Jack and Lauren.
So I'll take the under there.
I think Philly gets destroyed.
I'm not super impressed.
with Jacksonville's offense.
So I think this game goes under 41 and a half.
Chicago and Green Bay.
Let's get some weather there,
could we?
Yeah,
I'd love to see some cold weather there.
Bayesian again,
Green Bay hasn't looked great at all.
45 and a half feels like a lot.
I will take the under.
And then I think anytime Minnesota plays,
I'm just going to keep taking the under.
They're good at it.
Their defense is solid.
New Orleans can put up some points.
They don't have any run game, though, so I'm going to take the under here, under 42.
I got your weather update.
You're going to love it.
It's warm, but there is a chance of thunderstorms and winds in Green Bay.
Those Jordan love passes will be sailing incomplete, Jack.
Good.
Oh, my.
Never mind, Kyler.
What's the Bears running back situation?
I saw.
Swift has been in and out of practice the last couple of weeks, but he's played every week.
And Minangai dinged up his finger.
So if it's broken, he's probably not going to play.
Yeah, he's out of eight five.
Just see.
So Roshan Johnson would step into that backup role.
He's a bigger body.
Maybe he's the go long guy, but just keep feeding swift.
What do we do with Swift?
Don't so much complicate this.
And I'll tell you what, I was so close because I wanted to do the taking points.
Right.
If I was not on this theme, and I may still add it, how's the mood in Steel Town, Jack?
Oh, man, it's bad.
But this is it bad?
It's just, what happened?
I mean, they lot, but they played pretty well.
They played all right.
He played all right.
It just feels like the Indianapolis Colts are coming in.
They're coming and they were in London.
They were in heaven.
When did the Steelers play?
There's been rest.
It's there's an extra rest.
I'm not impressed with the Colts.
Steelers at home minus two and a half.
The Steelers buy a field goal.
It's bringing in the stars.
It makes sense.
Like it's a complete meltdown in Pittsburgh.
These are the ones that they come back and win.
You put it on your car.
I'll put it on.
my card. Oh, are we in? Are we in? Jack? Yeah, let's do it. Steelers minus two and a half.
All right. Danny Dimes was unreal last year to the injury. He looks like Giants Danny Dimes.
He does not look like the guy that had them off to that great start through what, 10, 11 weeks last year?
Alex Pierce is out. Pierce is out. Keenan Allen's hurt. How's Michael Pittman doing? Yeah, that's one of the words.
Roland Wilson. Roman Roman Rome, baby. Yeah. I love it. Jack. Nice. Oh, Jackie.
On my kid's hockey team.
You're really.
Misabandit.
Pit daddy.
Pit daddy.
Daddy.
I fear now that I've ruined the rest of my games because I was going with the plus.
No.
I'm worried about your chargers pick.
I like the rest.
Chargers are bad.
They're very bad.
But the thing that I think is misguided is everyone's like Herbert Samora.
He's struggled.
But they have one offensive lineman left from week one.
I don't care.
I hate that.
already their weak spot.
I hate that guy that runs the old
thing.
Yeah, the old
Miami drug dealer.
They brought Adam Gase
in to run the passing game.
Like, remember that moron?
Oh, my God.
Like, the moment I saw his picture,
I'm like, I got a bad feeling about this year.
Who's a asses.
He's got a kiss to get in the...
Over under 41.5.
They're at home getting
three and a half points
against the Broncos who have...
Look, the Broncos have endazzled.
The charges might be the worst team
in the NFL.
Brian, if you put it on your car,
card, I'll put it on my card. You're
switching it? No. No, he's just adding more.
If you put it on your card, I'll have it already have it on your card.
All right. What are we talking about? I'm going, I'm aware.
Sean Payton call him plays now too.
That's right. He took both videos. That's how bad it is for the
Rikovs. Bo Nix had the little shine came off so far this year.
That's fair. Yeah. Those are our picks. Bet three six five. Download the
app today in Alberta. Got to be 18 years of age or older and please play
responsibly. Have fun with it.
We've talked about November earlier this week.
It is coming up obviously in the month of November.
But it's become more than just growing a mustache for the month.
What can we do?
Can we have a let's do a staff event, a team event or buddies.
We're going to raise some money.
It's all about having a grow mitment.
Men are dying too young.
Preventable causes.

If you're like, oh, what could we do?
You're going to find all kinds of stuff.
You're going to find ideas and gimmicks.
I want Jack to really lean into it this year.
Just with the mustache?
Yeah, because it's a little straggly.
But you got to clean up the rest.
He's scruffy enough you don't notice it.
You got to clean shave the rest, Jack.
Get a little more attention on that Mo.
You brought it up the other day.
I didn't even know.
I couldn't even see it.
It's a disturbing mustache.
I don't know.
You're not.
It's like,
is Jack growing up?
I guess he kind of is.
But that's not what this is about.
No.
If he's making a grow commitment,
then that's all you can ask.
Shoveler doesn't like you stash.
Maybe it's November.com is the website.
It is the website.
Well, uh, Jack was texting.

Power play goal might have help with some momentum
as they started to fade towards the end of the second period.
But at least they scored more than one.
Neither is a positive side.
There you are.
That a boy, Rich.
Always look on the bright side of life.
Get behind all the positivity.
That's what we do, Jack.
In Mardellute.
Yep.
So they start construction.
Yeah.
On the home shows.
Perpetual construction.
Jack, is sleeping?
What are you doing over there?
Well, it's just got so many.
You can't keep it.

Yeah.
More Cron, please.

I told the guys before my kid calls me last night.
He's like, whoever that guy is that you had on the show yesterday at the end,
he's hilarious.
Well, he was the first round pick of the flames.
What?
He was the franchise gold.
Yeah, he was going to save the cape on.
He's going to save the franchise.
Everybody loves Crohn.
He's a beauty.
Everyone loves Crone.
Great on the broadcast as well.
You didn't like their desk?
No, I don't.
Better than the nut shot they used to have.
Small. Yeah, you used to sit on
stools. Stools and then they'd have the
chair. Yeah, down in the event level.
Yeah, that's right.
For everyone to look at. There's my pouch, boys.
Do you think that's the, what is

We go to the crotch cam at the intermission.
Okay, settle down.
Who's in charge of this?
Yeah, I feel like...
Thanks, hawking, Lubies.
That's a great one.

Hell!
Oh, Jesus.
my fandom started in the Young Gun era.
What? Okay, sorry.
This pain is all too familiar and easy to stomach, given the direction they're going.
Let the kids play.
Preach, Michael.
Absolutely, let us go in reverse.
Let the kids play.
Yeah.
It's tough right now for everybody.
Absolutely.
Who in the F was inspiring you to be a fan in the Young Gun era?
You know, that's passion.
If you survive the Young Guns, you've been through the darkest days.
I say it every time, that's Will.

Somewhere between now and April 10th, I'd say there, Scotty.
I'm getting some, get me back to you.
Well, I shouldn't say that.
He has not done anything in the NHL that is tangible that is going to say,
I'm an NHLer.
This is his last call.
And it doesn't feel like his hair's on fire, does it?
The only fly in that ointment is, is he going to terminate the dough?
No, he won't do.
He's not terminating anything.
Not a chance.
But I'll tell you what, if you get a motivated Othman and you like Sunniyev and Kastanias here, like, I don't care if he sits.
I don't know the kid personally at all.
It's the last year.
He's 27, isn't he?
He's 28.
Like, it's time.
He's a UFA at the end of the year.
That's Sippy's kid, though?
If it's Sippy's kid, I'm going to have him over some vodka.
I think it's Sippy's kid.
Vodka.
All right.

Right?
I think I want.

No.

Like back at the old shop hashtag pig mask
Did you ever hear the
I've
Plainly remember hearing the pig mask story
But I don't
I don't know how we got to the point
One of the greatest shows you was
Red had decided that he was done with his drill
Oh I came out
Well I'll tell you how
Because it came out
The goddamn door handle fell off
Done with it
That's probably a sign eh
The door handle's quitting on you
So the door handle fell off
you were ready for a new ride and we decided on the radio show we were just going to auction it off we're going to sell it on the show so we started taking calls and bids and then one guy came down to look at it and he's like i have cash i'll show up right now let's go we can do this but he wanted to see the merchandise before he bought it and was looking around is that's we had you on speakerphone or you at least you had the phone going and we had you on the air it was it's kind of dirty in here there's stuff all over the place uh he said it was fun
loaded. He didn't say it was fully loaded
with crap. With garbage.
Some food wrappers. Some hamburgers
under the seat. Some sort of
pig mask.
Big mask.
And you got the cash. That transaction got done.
The shoveler had to come and pick
you up because dude just took up.
Now what was, and the pig mask was a Halloween
mask of a pig? And why was it in there?
You stay out of his personal life there.
Do you want to hear this story? Yeah, the shoveler wouldn't
appreciate it.
Busy pants. I got
out of big things.
Feeling it's all related.
It's out of his personal life.
Flames work hard.
I think Red's right.
We are in game four of the year
and everyone looks miserable.
How is anyone going to develop any chemistry
when the lines are different
every period?
Right, you're the coach. You got a practice date tomorrow.
Let's pretend a little make-believe.
What are you doing to light in the mood?
I'm off to Banff right now if I'm the coach.
Short shorts?
We're going to do so.
Easy Dukes.
And we'll go bowling.
Sure.
Maybe Pinder could get us into the Glencoe club.
That's right.
Yeah.
Have some fun,
whatever.
Break your hip from that.
I'm not practicing.
Let's go.
Yeah.
We don't need fitness testing.
We sure as hell don't need to practice today.
We'll worry about tomorrow,
tomorrow.
Let's go have some fun.
I like that.
All said.
And I think you could sell it based on the effort last night because it was a definite
step forward.
Yeah,
they weren't lazy dogs.
They just played one of the best teams in the league and they're probably the worst team.
It worked.
You felt better after this than any.
to smash them with an anvil and a hammer.
Like, no.
Yeah, I still think Vancouver was their best effort.
But again, that was last year's last place team.
Wasn't the apps.
But that's what I would do, Flamesport Car.
I don't disagree with it at all.
I think it's a great take.
I don't know if I'd go to Bamp.
It's a little, it's a bus trip.
I'm driving.
Somewhere local.
Maybe a hot new restaurant.
Oh, yeah.
Sure.
Team dinner.
Delicious.
I love dinner.
Just mix a mingle with fans, sign some autographs.
My favorite.
Stop the puck.
have some
mouth breathers come up
and give you some advice
Big bear
Oh big bear
Y'all are smoking crack

The hell are those
How it's data
That's a shot shared

And he's got bad
Shooting Percentage luck
And goaltending luck
Behind them
That's all fair
No one's saying
White Cloud's bad
He just said he's bad?
What's that?
We said he's bad.
Well, I know, he's, I mean, look,
White Cloud's a good NHLer.
Is he asked to do more in Calgary than he probably shouldn't in this league?
I think so.
But he's saying, y'all are smoking crack.
What have we said about White Cloud?
What are our takes that have been so?
I think through the Seattle.
You're talking about Big Bear.
You're smoking the rock.
We never did even talk about the guy.
Wasn't he the one in the,
is a Vancouver smoking the road?
You were the one, I mean, you need to sober up,
settle the F down, pal.
Mix in a water.
Big Bears.
Hockey sackling out in Vancouver, smoking the dope.
I mean, he hasn't looked as good as he did last year.
Last year, we were very impressed with him.
And at this point, he's probably had three or four different pair.
Can I interject?
Yeah, how much does he make?
Two points out of time.
Yeah.
It's not an eight and a half.
Yeah, like, don't be fooled.
If he moves to a contender, he's not sliding onto the top pair.
He's four or five, right?
Yeah.
Probably five.
And a great human.
Lovely guy.
Great, wonderful person.
Right in the room.
If he was part of this show, he would probably,
buy you croissants as well.
Somebody's saying, I think maybe Big Bear was talking
about the chat, boys, not you guys.
Slander in the chat? Big Bear, you can't be part of that
chat. Stay out of the session.
It's no good for me and street.
Rosh pit.
Can't have it. Stabby.
Shabby.
Shabadoo.
Coleman.
Can Gold tighten his articles
up a bit so it's easier to read about
the free toilet opportunity.
Yeah, it really kind of was trying.
Distract.
Gould, really making it all about him.
When really.
He texted me yesterday. He's very proud.
It's his first byline of the papers.
Thank you, Goldman.
Where do I get the paper?
You swung by an old folks home?
Maybe go to a shitter.
I do like the head time or the headline,
because that's what I say when I'm getting ready to go to the bathroom.
It's showtime.
The Parson and Princess be, uh, I'll be in there.
You can have transformed your bathroom.
Because it is showtime.
That's good.
That's good.
Jack, how is the show today?
We still got lots.
Oh, still got lots.
I thought you said that was it.
No, I said that's good.
Should have kept Lombard.
Super fit gives 100% each shift and just bring superb
locker room vibes, which they could use.
I actually don't disagree with that.
I don't know how you keep him and allow the kids to get in a line.
But you could just keep them around.
Because he would be more impactful.
and I don't mean this rudely, but Sipulikov.
I was just going to say, if you kept him,
maybe you don't take Sipikov and that Nett's deal.
Because there's just too many wagers,
but he was very good at his job.
Left side,
fourth line, vibes, work ethic.
There's a caveat.
Oh, caveat?
Sure.
Yeah, caveat.
The coaches have to allow them to do that.
You know what I mean?
Like, if the coaches have the squeeze on.
We can't have you spinning plates in here.
and being the yuck yuck guy.
Yeah.
The coach just have to set the last few years.
But even still, it would almost be,
you'd be relating to him almost as an assistant coach.
It's like, hey, like, I know you want to keep things light,
but we're sending messages here right now.
We're trying to win hockey games.
I don't need you.
I wonder I was doing Columbus.
We haven't seen any of the Cipikov thing.
I have a hard time thinking that Conroy wanted Cipollinger.
No, no, no, that's a throwin. That's the cash.
Right. So it's not like he can, oh, I won't take Siplochoff.
Well, no. It's expiring this year.
You're taking 2.2 million for us.
And this is, I'll be damned.
Sometimes you jump off of curb and Chicago and your ankle twists.
Anything can happen.
Sippy.
Yeah, you go out with Warner, have vodka.
Call your dad, say, did you play with this guy?
Oh, I got this together a few times.
Broken English.
Good stuff.
Yeah, it would be.
There's Ken.
Oh.

I hated it last year
I don't think it's very logical

You know what it is
When a team's bad
People want heads on stakes
It doesn't have to make sense
They just want to know who to blame
Oh steak would be delicious
I'm having a stick
I'm at home I have the baseball
rabbi. I was supposed to eat it last night, but I had so much of the beef,
ribs and potatoes. Salt pepper and crush it. So I'm going, I might do lemon pepper.
Oh, somewhat addicted to the lemon pepper right there. Wow. The spice. Yeah. Okay, good. Yeah.
Do you do a good lemon, like a, like a peppercorn sauce? I don't. I've never really,
I saw someone do it the other day and I was like, I might have to try this. Yeah, yeah. Because I eat steak
18 times a week. Oh, I'm so jealous. I got a big freezer full steak. Haska Biggle.
Yeah.
He's got to get his kids.
We got to go.
Last one.
Retrons get the hell out of here.
He's playing with me.
Jim Leahy.
Is Barb getting her spot behind the home bench and the new barn?
Also, if any of you met her.
Oh, I think I said hi to her once.
She was quite lovely.
Huh?
This is Flames fan behind the bench, the lady that's always there.
I know this person?
There's a lady who's always got the seats behind the home bench.
I mean, I feel bad because someone made the Twitter account,
Angry Flames lady, but she's actually not angry.
I mean, she might be really angry at Husk Bigel right now, but she's got kind of a resting, don't say it.
A loyal fan and a longtime season ticket holder, you know?
Gotcha.
How does her name get out?
She's famous, yo.
She's a guy who knows.
You got drunk pinders going up, hey, you're the lady that says me a hot.
I'm sorry, you're on the TV.
You love to drink and you're so annoying when you're drunk.
Oh, he's just, you can't take it.
Hey, Jim Layne, he's good at that too.
Thank you, Jimmy.
I would rather be with Jim Lay.
Jim Leah, he's dead.
Oh, what?
Yeah, he is.
It's just dead.
But he was the brains behind this show.
Pinder soon, so.
There's a lesson there.
Just looking for a good trailer and a nice park.
That's right.
Jack, how was a show today?
It was excellent.
You know, last night was a bit of a tough one for me.
I actually left my house.
and then at about 10 o'clock
my pager started going crazy
pager yeah
be a doctor yeah
the pageer went off
I'm on call
you're into that sick stuff aren't you
you sick twisted prick
that's why you can't leave the house
what do you mean
you got a pager
and when that pager goes off
you better be ready to rock
any of the vibrating pants
yeah what did you go
I got gold pager me
it's it was a bit of
a mess, but after burner.
We can't get after what the hell's going on?
It was a bit of a re-bigel on after-burder last day.
We were Jack a drink.
That's what we got to give you credit.
You do.
You work, sorry.
So what did that have to do with today's show?
You said today's excellent show.
So how did the two?
Today just was a lot of laughs and I had a lot of fun.
You needed it.
Oh, shut up.
It was a lot of fun.
Did you eat that croissant?
I have.
yet.
I'm going.
And if you're not eating
and I'm taking it.
This is not a take home.
It's not a takeout.
Dean, you listen.
We are not here on Monday.
It is Thanksgiving weekend.
And the bills play.
You've got a big day ahead of us.
It's a big week.
Oh, yeah, Monday.
That's going to be a great day.
The bird.
Oh, the gravy.
Rams are three and a half favorites.
Yep.
Yep.
Take the points.
I'm worried a little bit.
Oh, Dino.
Well, if Devante

Yeah.
If number one's trying to cover him, there's no fucking chance in the world that the bills come on top.
Was that our boy like Tommy Simmons or something?
What was it?
Christ sakes.
Herson.
Send that guy to the moon.
I was good,
but I was going to say is I'm a little worried about Josh's knee.
Knie?
What are you talking about?
He hurt his knee.
When?
Oh, dear.
Playing with this kid?
Maybe, yeah.
Wrestling.
Some couch wrestling with his wife.
Get some peptides in there.
I'll be fine.
If he's not scrambling around.

the finale yeah gather around the ones you love just
like we do every day on this show.
I like that better than
penultimate for sure. That's better.
But we, you know what?
We get messages all the time from the sponsors.
Like, yeah, guys, you support our sponsors.
The sponsors support us.
We do this thing every day.
We are stupid.
And you guys dig it.
So we appreciate you.
Thank you for that.
So have a great Thanksgiving weekend with you and yours.
The loved ones in your life.
And we'll see you on Tuesday.
